Chapter 1 Pilot
Sheldon awoken from his sleep with a weight on his shoulder and found a dark-skin woman with black hair make him remember the event that took place last night. This woman is Janine Davis a married woman whom Sheldon occasionally has a fling due to her job as Human Resources Administrator or HRA so whenever Sheldon feel Caltech need to raise his research fund, Sheldon need directly appeal to her first. Whenever Sheldon directly appeal to Janine about his research fund to increase they ended up in hotel room somewhere in Pasadena, after all their agreement together is that I scratch your itch, you scratch mine.
Sheldon then get up and start walking towards the bathrooms for his body felt sticky after sex last night for Janine often like ask for non-stop hard sex that even make Sheldon felt dirty. So that morning Sheldon thoroughly take his time for bath when he finally walk out of bathroom wear nothing but his bath towel, Sheldon could not help but admire Janine body laid bare when the blanket that cover her get kick offside.

Sheldon then raise both of his hand in-front of his chest told Janine to calm down "I will try Jen…I'm in the middle of breakthrough in my research, I will try to clear my schedule for next week"
Janine then gather her scattered clothes and wear it back on, "Its good then I will be happy to see you next week"
"What for? If you don't mind me asking Jen, it is not like you to suddenly ask me" Sheldon ask curiously to Jen for she will only phone Sheldon if Sheldon ask for favour first,
Janine seem to hesitate to look to Sheldon at first before she finally reply "I am in the middle of divorcee proceeding"
Suddenly Sheldon spit out the water that he drinks from water bottle on the night stand, "Seriously?"
Sheldon cough out a couple of times before he finally settle down that Janine nod toward Sheldon,
"We already out of love a long time ago, he only agree to stay together because it benefitted him but then our son is born"
'Our son' Sheldon could not help but think that there is double take on this word so Sheldon then gesturing with his head for Janine to continue,
"I just think this is finally the time for Albert to meet his real dad" Janine could not help but looking toward Sheldon warily,
Sheldon start to feel dizzy in his head for he is feeling pressure weight down upon him,
"His real dad? Aren't is his dad is Tom?" Sheldon desperately ask for conformation but his world start to come crashing down when Janine shakes her head,
"Albert dad is you Sheldon! Even though I never told you about him" Janine then take her phone from her purse and show Sheldon a light-skin baby with big deep blue eyes like him "Many would notice that Albert isn't Tom as Tom had darker skin than me and black eyes, are you mad?"
Janine look directly toward Sheldon whom then sit next to her hand and take her hand into his, "I am angry because you never told me anything, still it partially my fault what can I do?"
Janine start to smile toward Sheldon "I just hope you don't mind if little Albert grow to know you as his dad"
As far as Sheldon know Tom is already started relationship with Caltech undergraduate long before Janine get pregnant but California State is no-fault divorce state so there is a possibility that the divorce proceeding would at least need to take three to six months following with marriage consultation for the possibility of reconciliation. Sheldon lock face-to-face toward Janine who look seldom with a hopeful look make Sheldon take a gulp, nonetheless the silence that fill the car as they drove that morning to their workplace only make both Janine and Sheldon grew more nervous.
Arrive at Caltech Sheldon stop his truck at his parking spot where Janine give Sheldon a quick peck on his cheek before Sheldon and Janine hurriedly separate before anyone spot them together especially wear the same clothes yesterday, for Sheldon he could easily deny it if necessary by state that he stay to work at his office. Sheldon could not help but grew nervous with every step into his office Janine words weighing his mind even though Albert is not his only offspring consider how many partners that he had but there is still responsibility that comes with became a dad and luckily for Sheldon, Albert still a babe it would be easier for Sheldon to bond with him because Albert still is not emotionally attach to Tom Davis due to his age.
Entering his office Sheldon quickly take a seat before he do anything else decide to take his marker Sheldon walking to his board foe he has a calculations to do about what just transpire. Not long after that Sheldon take out his phone for he got some news and business to do.
During lunchbreak as usual Sheldon choose his pot in cafeteria sitting together with Bert Kibbler and Leslie before he start to question Sheldon,
"Why are still wearing the same clothes Sheldon?" Bert ask Sheldon,
It had been two years since they know each other even though they work in a different respective field but due to the influence of Libby during his high school Sheldon come to like Geology field.
"Well Bert I spend the night in the office because I am in the middle of breakthrough" Sheldon slyly give Bert half-truth,
"Well looks like a congratulations in order then" Bert surprise
"Not at all Bert there is still much to fix"
"Still there is still a possibility for you to get your second Nobel Laureate then you will break another record as a few scientist that being awarded twice by the Swedish Academy of Sciences"
"If they decide that my theory hold more weight compare to others theory then there is possibility" Sheldon just shrugged,
"That is true there is always many competitors each year from all fields to win Nobel Laureate" Bert nodding "Even now in Caltech there is rumour that Barry Kripke would change his field of research from Plasma to String Theory"
"I see Kripke must be hear that my research fund is quite big has been grant by Caltech Institute" Sheldon amuse wondering if only Kripke knew what he should do to get his research fund got approved,
"That…or he just stuck at Plasma research, after all Professor Siebert already told us that there is limited amount of budget this year so they cut a research who don't get a significant result and considering you win a Nobel Laureate Prize from String Theory, your department research fund is the only one who don't get cut maybe Kripke sees an opportunity in it" Bert told Sheldon,
"Well Bert I have much bigger worry to think rather than just think about a potential rivalry with Kripke for funds, in fact I welcome him if he really interested in researching string theory" Sheldon knew that somewhere along the way the Institute will force them to work together,
Bert could not help but smile when hear Sheldon words,
"Then may I interest you with other news circulating our Institute"
"What news?" Sheldon look at Bert Curiously,
"That Tom Davis is going to sue Caltech" Howard cut Bert before he could answer not long Raj join Howard on their table,
"For destroying his marriage" Raj added in,
"Howard, Raj" Bert and Sheldon greets them,
Howard and Rah nodded back to Sheldon and Bert before Howard continuing his story,
"There is a gossip circulate that Tom got cuckold by one of working members of Caltech and Janine child is not Tom" Howard said with glee in his voice,
"Well we all already knew that Tom had a relationship with one of undergraduate so it would be hard for him to press charges" Raj continue in,
"That is hardly the case for there is going to be repercussions for either Tom and Janine" Bert disagree with Raj, Sheldon silently agree with Bert when he hearing Bert words,
"Well either way there is going to be inspection towards all the member of faculty" Howard said,
"By the way Raj…Howard, I don't see Leonard from at all where is he?" Sheldon try to divert the conversation by questioning them,
Hearing Leonard name change Raj attitude, notice Raj sour mood Howard quickly reply,
"We last meet Leonard yesterday while he chasing some undergraduate" Howard reply quickly,
"Okay now I'm really curious what is really happen?" Bert talk to them,
"That four eyes bastard try to hit on Priya" Raj scowl,
"Come on Raj we all knew that Leonard wouldn't do such a thing, we make a promise after all" Howard try to dissuade the situation,
"Excuse me! She is my sister takes precedence over five-year-old pinkie swear!" Raj start to get angry,
Sheldon knew since Leonard is now is his roommate that he is often complaint about Priya and her reluctance to have coitus with him, Sheldon knew it just a matter of time before this thing blow out of proportion after all effort that Beverly had done to mend her relationship with Leonard something just could not get repair. Leonard issue is goes far more deeply than just his relationship with his mother Beverly deeper than just mommy-issue that get buried by his eagerness to blend-in to be seen as normal, moreover his ego got inflated when he successfully date Priya make Leonard think that he could easily get any girl that he fancy.
Based on Sheldon observation, Leonard success in courting a girls is mostly involve his hurt-puppy eyes combine with his persistence chasing said girl wearing her down, but nothing that Leonard do concern Sheldon because in the end it is his business but Leonard attitude start to annoy him because Leonard take full advantage of his roommate relationship with Sheldon in Caltech which make Sheldon like Leonard less, moreover Sheldon has this nagging feeling that if he is not going to stop Leonard now then the situation with Leonard only going to escalate and possibly destroy everything he holds dear
"All I see is how Raj worries for his sister condition and Howard you knew that Leonard and Priya is dating right?" Raj nodded while Howard still deny Leonard and Priya is indeed dating,
"Just because they meet every day that doesn't mean that they are dating after all there no sex involve" Howard try to defend his case,
"You know what that is disgusting!" Bert and Sheldon could not help but agree with Raj,
"Now excuse us if you don't mind gentleman" Sheldon and Bert quickly pick up their lunch tray and left the table where Raj and still arguing,
"So is Leonard is still your roommate Sheldon?" Bert open the conversation when they walk to their office,
"Yes he is Bert after all he already pay for at least a year" Sheldon look disappointed,
"Why the long face then?"
"Well Bert while I do need the rent money it just sometimes I get stress out"
Sheldon could not told Bert that he accept Leonard as his roommate compare to other candidate primarily due to Beverly ask him to watch over Leonard when Beverly still try to fix the rift between them.
"You know you has a choice to just kick him out if you really don't happy with him as your roommate"
"Thanks Bert I'm going to think about it"
Sheldon said to Bert suggestion make Sheldon could not help but think of his roommate agreement clause with Leonard that could get him out of this situation.
Sheldon left Caltech on-time today, he is try to avoid Janine before he could sort everything out but Sheldon knew he could not avoid it for much longer so Sheldon take out his phone and contact his girls back home.
"Hello Cooper Residence" the voice from other line greeted Sheldon,
"Hello Paige"
"Shelly! How are you? Are you going to come home here tonight?"
"I'm fine of course, I would be home late tonight so I would stay by in the apartment for the night"
"I don't care about the time you spent with your missus but have wives at home Shelly do you forget that?"
"Of course I don't forget Paige, it just I'm in the middle of breakthrough so I will stay in the apartment for a while"
"Uh-huh, oh well as long as you don't forget that than I guess its fine"
"Thank you Paige then please tell the others that I would not be home tonight, love you"
"Love you too Shelly, please be careful okay? And please be home tomorrow"
"Of course Paige, bye"
"Bye Shelly"
Sheldon take off his phone then drive off from parking lot while start to think to buy new properties near his workplace for his family to stay.

Penelope Teller awoken that day from severe headache in hospital emergency room which is surprising her considering her situation last time she remembers, that she under massive traffic accident where her car get crushed under other cars after flipping over. That is the last thing that Penny remembers as her vision get blurry and her chest is really…really hurt every second she tries to get breath then out of nowhere Penny start to see flashback of her live started as Penelope Hofstadter when she left Pasadena California to New York.
Penny should have seen it for the sign is everywhere even before they are dating that showing Leonard is not a husband material as she thought he would be for Leonard mentally abusive, he also easily jealous for everything. It became worse when Penny get pregnant with their first child, the second, the third, the fourth and the fifth although Penny indeed dream on about having a big family after she already success become an actress even though her dream of become an actress gone there is still her dream about having a child so when her child born they are become Penny source of joy but for Leonard they become an anchor that tied Penny to him.
Leonard finally show Penny, his true self. A man that always cheat on her while begging for her forgiveness every time he get caught, masking it with his wounded-puppy-eyes and like a true idiot Penny always forgive Leonard and rewarded him for all his mistakes. Never had in her imagination that Beverly really become Penny good mother-in-law, even closer to her than her mother where Beverly become a place where Penny could confided in her troubles. That is when Beverly finally opened Penny eyes to all her troubles in life and her live with Leonard and why Beverly objected to her relationship with Leonard.
Penny could get success in her live as long as the people around her is supporting her decision because she is easily influence by environment around her, that is why her relationship with Leonard would not easily work because Leonard is easily jealous towards everything and need acknowledgement for everything he is done for her.
The reality hit Penny hard that Leonard is never supported everything she is doing even goes as far as make her get fired from her job, Leonard and his gang of friend make Penny remember when they still lives at Los Robles apartment Pasadena California. From all her old friend in Pasadena the one that Penny still consider her friend is Raj (because he rarely speak) and Sheldon (his words might be sharp and hurts people but he speak nothing but the truth moreover he helps his friends wholeheartedly without ask anything back) while Bernadette barely put into account.
Bernadette her old friend even before she is meet and married Howard, told Penny when she is confronting her about why she is always take Leonard side while they are still dating, the answer shock Penny because Bernadette finally admitted that she is doing such a thing because her husband is Leonard close friend. Such an idiot reasoning from Bernadette a decisive person Penny knew that destroying her lives by making her attached to Leonard, a decision that impact a lifetime. It is not she is live without guilt after all Penny remember her whack-a-doodle and what is their Artic 'innocent little prank' for and what it do to Sheldon career, another worst thing that Leonard done that being rewarded by her.
Depressed and alcoholic finally Penny decided to divorce Leonard another decision that bite her back for Leonard makes all her children goes against her, but at the time she is already take a stance after sees that Leonard would not even change. Penny no longer could hold being parade by Leonard into University dinner gathering and become their personal joke as nothing more than his idiotic blonde bimbo just because she is not understand their job and what are they doing.
After they got divorce Penny try to get in touch with her whack-a-doodle whom disappear right after his divorce with Amy, after all in her darkest day Sheldon still become her rock, her closest friend and the place Penny could confide in her problem even manage her to build business while become housewife. Something that is Penny appreciate later after her divorce with Leonard to get her own income, but Penny itself never contacted Sheldon again after Leonard objected to her friendship with Sheldon during their marriage. So Penny tries to call Sheldon but his old number cannot be contacted the same also could be said about his e-mail, she also could not contact the remaining Cooper family for they disappear as if they get swallowed by the earth.
The next thing Penny knew is that she awoken in hospital emergency room, with concussion when her head hit a wall when she falling when she fight Kurt affair partner when she caught them in her bed. This is confusing Penny for she is scientist, she does not know how time-traveling work. Moreover Penny doubt what she is experiencing right now is time-traveling, she is dying the last time she checks. All of genius people Penny knew about the possibility about her time travel is her old friends in Los Robles 4-floor apartment, none of them her fancy minus one. Still Penny knew that she is short of money after she pay her medical fees along with money to rent new apartment, if she is going to leave Kurt.
So Penny quite surprise when one person she is missed the most entering Cheesecake factory when she is working her shift that evening,
"Hello, my name is Penny may I take your order"
"It's my first time in this establishment, what would you recommend?"
Penny could not help but thoroughly look at Sheldon before his shock her out,
"May I recommend you with barbeque burger, believe me you would love it"
"That's good huh? Okay then Miss Penny, one barbeque burger please with…"
"Everything on the side"
"How did you know?!"
Penny knew that she is shocking Sheldon based on his surprise look,
"It just my friend used to order in the same way" Penny reply
'Used?' Sheldon could not help but thought
"I'm sorry for your loss"
"It's okay…It's alright I just lost contact with him and it's my fault after I being goaded into cutting contact with my best friend"
Somehow the direction of their conversation makes Sheldon uncomfortable,
"It is okay miss, everyone along their way of life somehow lose something precious to them one way or another and they are only regret it long after they lost them"
"Not good with sweet talk huh?"
"Not at all Miss…"
"Penny just call me Penny"
"Okay then, Penny"
"Wait for a moment, I'm going deliver your order after it's done"

The conversation with Sheldon makes Penny relieve her oppressed feeling, she is missed Sheldon so much she is almost draw tears. One thing Penny notice though is that her friend wears a proper clothes and carries himself like a grown man.
"Here is your order, one barbeque burger with everything on the side"
"Thank you, and please take this with you"
Sheldon offering Penny a name card,
"First forgive me to act out of line but I could not help but notice bandages on your head along with your hollow eyes indicate your lack of sleep, and so I assume that somehow that you're experiencing violence"
Sheldon wait for a moment for his words to sink in,
"This number is violence victim help center for woman, I sincerely hope that you get all the help you need" Sheldon continued,
"Thank you" Penny almost shed tears,
'Thank you Sheldon for staying the same' Penny Thought about Sheldon and how he is still a gentleman as Penny remembered.
"You're welcome" Sheldon nodding before he eats his barbeque burger.
Walking back to her station Penny could not help but look back at Sheldon her old best friend.

That night Penny after her shower, Penny look once again at the number Sheldon give her. Penny notice the name on the name card that Sheldon give her, Doctor Melissa Cooper. Penny could not help but astonish when she look at it, she would never guess that Melissa will become a Psychiatrist. The last time she sees Missy, Penny could not help that compare herself with Missy.
Penny always have close relationship with Missy before she moved with Leonard to New York, after that Penny lose contact with most of her friends even Missy. Since Penny dating Leonard, Leonard already stated that he is not comfortable with most of her friends. Penny should see the sign early even Leonard does not approved most of her friends, because he does not have the same interest and could not blend with most of them.
Penny decide that she will change her bleak future, even when she does not know if this world is the same world. That changes is going to start by leaving Kurt, by moving out from their apartment. Then Penny start stepping towards unknown future by calling woman protection center and knowing that she indeed need help to get her life in order.

Sheldon phone ringing that day in exact time when he already finish his job and ready to come home,
"Hello Doctor Sheldon Cooper speaking"
"Shelly!" came a panicking voice from the other line,
"Missy?! Why are panicking? Is there a trouble home?" Sheldon respond worry evident in his voice.
"No…no…no troubles at all in here, it just…" Missy dragging her words,
"What is it?" Sheldon start to become impatience,
"Please, I need your help!" Missy start to beg,
"Okay…what kind of help?"
"You told me that the tenant across our old apartment is ready to leave"
"Luis/Louise the transgender across the hall?"
"Yes, I will need you to put a deposit for the next tenant"
"Why?" Sheldon suspiciously asked,
"Because you give my number to a certain waitress"
"Penny!?"
"You remember her?" Missy start to panic,
"Of course Missy, do you forget I have eidetic memory?"

"Now you just confuse me Missy"
"Forget it then, just when you remembered to meet Penny?" Missy start to get curious,
"Of course I remember her Missy, I meet Penny yesterday when I eat at Cheesecake Factory"
Sheldon to confuse as to why Missy start to hype up whenever she talk about Penny.
"Well Shelly, I need your help to settle her into her new place, so I see it's appropriate to place her near you"
"It's not like I dislike to help her, but Paige already asking me to get home since yesterday"
"I will talk to Paige, Please…Shelly"
Sheldon take a deep breath before him answer,
"All right I will help you, but what would give me in return?"
Missy not answering Sheldon rather she send him a picture message of her in sexy white lingerie with note.

Sheldon already been asked by Missy to help Penny settle into her new apartment as her new patient, after talked and spent time with Missy and Paige last night Sheldon is ready. Knowing Leonard goes into the sperm bank that day to donor his sperm, Sheldon could help Penny to move without trouble. Sheldon ask by Missy to pick-up Penny, who stay in one of woman protection service house.
"Hello Penny" Sheldon greet Penny when he sees her,
"Hello Sheldon nice truck, do you drive it?" Penny seems surprised,
"What do you think?" Sheldon question back Penny when he opening the door for her,
"Well I don't know that a person like you would drive a truck?"
Sheldon quickly turn his head to directly look at Penny,
"What does supposed to mean?"
"Nothing, it just mostly people in LA like to drive a sedan more than a truck" Penny quickly cover up her outburst,
"Oh, it just I used to drive big vehicle since my day in military" Sheldon said with a nostalgic look on his face,
"You a soldier?!" Penny surprised that Sheldon she knew would become a soldier,
"Was a soldier, I respectfully discharge not too long ago" Sheldon said while driving,
"Really?! How could you suddenly became one though" Penny genuinely interested,
"Well my first attraction is when my father send me to military school, I find them easily accommodate me" Sheldon honestly reply Penny,
"For real?" Sheldon nod towards Penny,
"Yes, at first I reluctant when my father send me there after I created a laser weapon" Penny could not help but laugh when hearing Sheldon honest reply,
"Then what make you quit became a soldier?" Penny directly look at Sheldon face,
"I just think about a family that intend to build, besides at that time I already station off-field at that time after being withdrawn from the field" Sheldon shrugged his shoulder,
"What do you work now then?" Penny curiously ask,
"I now work at Caltech as theoretical physicist"
"I see, so you one of the beautiful minds guy huh"
Sheldon slowly turn his head to look Penny directly into her eyes,
"I am"
Not to long after that Penny and Sheldon arrived at Penny and Kurt apartment and while Penny knocking their apartment door, Sheldon stood beside her and not long there is step voice and sound of door lock being opened. Not long then a bare-chested muscular man came out, bring a bottle of beer in his hands.
"Kurt" Penny greet him there is hatred in her voice,
"Hey babe, I know you will come back to me" Kurt tries to flirt with Penny,
"Not a million years after what you did to me, step aside I need to take my stuff" Penny push Kurt aside,
"Who is this bastard then" Kurt look Sheldon up and down,
"I'm here as protector to make sure the person in our charges could safely get her stuff out of this apartment"
Sheldon remain stoic when he answering Kurt ignoring his snide remark towards him, Sheldon then goes inside following Penny. Penny start to picking up her stuff and put it inside the box, Sheldon then start to help Penny packs her stuff. While packing, Penny could not help but notice that whatever he is do in this life right now a certain thing remain constant.
That is Sheldon still good at doing related household stuff,
"Why are you smiling" Sheldon ask Penny,
"It just I never notice that someone was in military is so good at stuff like this" Penny smile,
"You would be surprise, by how much and short time we need to take before we deployed" Sheldon said without looking at Penny,
"Are there anything else belongs to you?" Sheldon start to look around,
"Yes, it would be the TV" Penny said while looking at the TV on the table,
Sheldon notice that Penny start to look sad when she look at the TV, Sheldon then start to walk at the Table and put off the cable before picking it up,
"Hey you jerk that TV belong to me" Kurt start to making a fuss,
Sheldon start to answer Kurt before Penny could argue with Kurt,
"Do you have a proof that this TV is belong to you?" Sheldon look at Kurt dead in the eyes, then he continue his words
"This TV is belong to Penny because I found the receipt for the TV under her name",
Kurt then start to swing his fist and stop in mid-air when he heard Sheldon next words,
"I suggest you stop that, don't make mistake while my hand quite preoccupied. I will retaliate if you try to hit me and put you in hospital ward, then I will make sure my attorney to squeeze every penny you got as compensation",
Sheldon then look Kurt up and down,
"Based on how you look, you have neither money or something valuable as collateral" Sheldon then start to snicker when Kurt put down his fist,
"Let's go Penny" Penny then hurriedly following Sheldon out,
Sheldon and Penny make several trips back and forth after they finishing packing most of Penny belongings while weightier belonging would be send by U-Haul driver.
"Thank you Sheldon" Penny said felt touched by what Sheldon do for her,
"Never mind Penny, after all you're meticulous enough to hold the payment receipt and so it only make it easier for mr to take your TV back" Sheldon said while driving,
'How much is he changed' Penny could not help but remember the first time they meet and also Sheldon reluctance to take her TV back with Leonard.
Penny also notice, that this Sheldon is different than Sheldon she used to know. Gone the tall, socially awkward, unhealthy looking physicist that look like praying mantis, become a taller with lean muscular body man that socially adept with people. Along the way Penny could not turn her eyes off Sheldon and occasionally stealing glances towards him, when Sheldon start to turn his head towards her direction.
When they finally arrive at Los Robles 4B apartment, Penny start dissemble her belongings helped by Sheldon. While assembling and settle most of her belongings into her old apartment room, Penny once again look at Sheldon direction and feel that her chest start to tighten. Penny could only pray and sincerely hope that this time, she would not make the same mistake again.

Leonard feel refreshed, when he walk up the stairs into his apartment on the fourth floor. This is a good day for Leonard, he successfully donor his sperm on the sperm bank for intelligence people and got payed for it. Moreover, there was a pretty lady want to use his sperm as donor and become eager with the possibility that they will have a connection once the baby born.
Then, how did Leonard know the recipient is beautiful woman? Well…just like Howard said, that is no crime if the woman does not knew that they have been followed. There is voice of people talking while Leonard walking upstairs, Leonard notice that one of the voice is belong to his roommate Sheldon.
"Thank you Sheldon" Leonard shock when he sees a beautiful blond girl kissing Sheldon on his lips, before she shyly separate herself from Sheldon and gently close her apartment door while continues to look at his roommate.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" Leonard only words, that could he get out from his mouth in his muddled mind right now.
