Chapter 1: We lost

This is my first story so please bear with me. I have been enjoying stories here for years and I had some ideas that I wanted to write out myself and hopefully some people enjoy them.

***Story Starts***

"Do you think she'll drop him in this universe?"

"We have been lucky so far. Let's hope for the best."

Sakura slightly nodded in agreement, still feeling hopeless in the situation. And tad bit guilty but there was nothing else she could have done in their previous situation.

Kaguya panicked after Sakura hit her.

So instead of Naruto and Sasuke securing the victory, Kaguya sporadically spawned them into different dimensions. The first one by luck was the ice dimension. This left Team7 inside of an iceberg which killed all of their momentum. After a few more familiar switches she blasted them away from with a vacuum palm and did something she has never done before. She left with only one of them. Then slowly over the span of a few hours she came back to pick them apart. She had improved her mastery over her abilities and tactics.

"What's taking that idiot so long" Sasuke grumbled.

"Well, it did take us a while to get to you. If Naruto hadn't given us chakra to do the shadow clone jutsu, she would have caught us immediately. But we only made four clones each to conserve his chakra for the upcoming battle" Kakashi chimed in.

"You should have looked for me immediately and interfered with our battle" Sasuke grumbled.

Kakashi mourned his past actions, "Yeah, that's my fault. I expected that she would come for us after dealing with you but I didn't expect that she would fight you".

There was no changing the past now but their actions were even more regrettable. They made a deliberate mistake. They did acknowledge that they should look for Sasuke a minute in their scattering but the fact she can sneak up on us even if Naruto was on lookout ensured that they need stick to their plan. They had to create distance between them and the other clones and have Naruto recover some chakra before finding Sasuke. After a few minutes they attempted trying to find Sasuke but Naruto couldn't sense him in any the neighbouring dimensions. They assumed that Naruto had a limited range for his sensing abilities so they extensively looked through each dimension but found her before him.

Naruto had way less chakra, Kakashi lost his dual mangekyou sharingan and Sakura had expended most of her chakra earlier when she tried to find Sasuke with Obito. They weren't in fighting shape, but they had to try and hope that blood that stained her clothes was hers. But seeing the eternal mangekyou sharingan and Sasuke's rinnegan in her palms they assumed the worst and fought for their lives. But she wasn't fighting to kill this time around. She just picked them apart taking one of them at time to elsewhere.

At least she put them all the same dimension as Sasuke so Sakura could attend to Sasuke's injuries but not fully in case Naruto comes through. He was Sasuke's last hope to having eyes again.

A portal opens and Kaguya with a dying Naruto exits. "be fortunate that I spared your lives. If you want an explanation as to why I need your powers is because of the Otsutsuki clan, my clan. They are far more ruthless then I, so enjoy the last moments of lives before the inevitable happens". She tossed Naruto and left.

They rushed to Naruto's seemly lifeless body and Sakura created an opening so she could pump his body again.

"Does he still have the six paths yang power?".

"Really Sasuke. He's dying right now" Sakura reprimanded Sasuke.

"I'm not worried about my eyes right now, I was just wondering if I have my six paths yin power so that I could heal him".

"It can do that?" Kakashi asked.

"I don't know but Naruto could heal your eye then maybe I can heal his soul, chakra or whatever the issue is with his body right now." Sasuke replied

"Wait let me close the opening" Sakura said.

Sakura undid her operation and let Sasuke attempt to heal Naruto. He touched his chest and the reaction was immediate. Naruto started coughing. Everyone let out a sigh of relief.

"How you doing baka"

"Better than you teme"
