Date: april 5, 1978
A door opens with two men walking through
One bulky man with glasses on and a black suit
The other one being a man In red and black armor
The room they walk Into is some sort of reception area with cherry blossoms
"Hmm…cherry blossom's" the man In armor says
"Yeah…" the bulky man says
"I take It you're not a fan?" the man In armor says
"No, They make me sick" the bulky man says looking at the trees giving a disgusted look
"I knew johnson's team was working on some fancy pants new reception area…but jesus" the bulky man says mad
"When I get my hands on that candy-ass, he'll be lucky If he can even carry his box of shit out of the building" the bulky man says looking at the man in armor
The man In armor looks up at the trees
"Is It really so horrible? They're only trees" the man In armor says
"They go from full blossom to bare In a week, one fucking week, everywhere In D.C you hear It's so fleeting and beautiful, pathetic." the bulky man says
"What do you think?" the bulky man asks the man In armor
"Nature Is just nature, not beautiful, not ugly, the wind blows, the flowers float away, It's simply how things are" the man In armor says making the bulky man laugh
Both of them walk out of the room
"In any case, I hear we're gonna have a guest soon" the man In armor says
"A guest?" the bulky man says
"Yes…the jetstream" the man In armor says
Meanwhile - outside the building
The man known as the jetstream In a high tech suit with a sword is outside the building planning his way In
"I just have to get In, kill him and get out, sounds easy enough" jetstream says walking toward the building but being stopped by two guards
"What the hell do you think you're doing buddy?" one guard asks
"Hey check this out" the other guard says pointing out the man's sword In his sheath
"Oh…this?" jetstream says grabbing the sheath
All of a sudden the sword fires out of the sheath hitting the guard launching him Into the air shocking the other guard
The guard tries attacking
jetstream avoids the attack, kicks him in the leg and jumps off of him
Grabs his sword In mid air and slices the guard In the air In half
jetstream lands on the ground
The other guard tries attacking him, he slices the guard In half and afterwards gets back up and wipes the blood off his blade
He walks around the building and finds an open window and jumps In
He Is now on floor one of five
Walking in he notices different rooms full of people working on tech and people getting cyborg upgrades
He gives a disgusted look before walking through a hallway into a dark empty room
He hears something moving around and stops
"Greetings, warrior" a robot voice says
Blades fly at jetstream
He quickly takes out his sword and slashes them In half
The robot reveals itself to be some sort of robot dog
It's tail being a chainsaw which It uses to attack him
He avoids the attack and pushes the robot dog back
It tries hitting him in the face with the chainsaw
He avoids It and slashes the tail, and sends himself backwards
"And you are?" jetstream asks
"LQ-84i, a prototype UG with a conversational Interface" LQ says
"A talking robot dog basically?" jetstream says with a laugh
"State your business here" LQ says
"Me? Oh just…sharpening my skills, wandering the earth, dispensing justice, but only to those who deserve It, such as, outlaws, desperados." jetstream says looking down at his sword
"You refer to world marshal" LQ says
"The ones holding your leash right?" jetstream says with a small laugh
"The ones who issue my orders" LQ says
"And…your orders are to kill me?" jetstream says
"Yes" LQ says
jetstream laughs before speaking
"Call me biased, but those seem like pretty dumb orders, pup." jetstream says as he starts walking passed LQ
"Why don't you try thinking for yourself?" jetstream says walking passed LQ
"For…myself?" LQ says
LQ then jumps In front of him ready for a fight
"Should I disobey a direct order, my memory would be wiped" LQ says
"Well…that's a pity" jetstream says getting ready to fight
"I am sorry…you must die" LQ says
"Then…I am sorry…as well" jetstream says
LQ charges at him and tries to hit him with the chainsaw
jetstream avoids the attack and begins slashing at LQ
The slashes leave behind red trails
Some of them stay still before forming into something solid and firing at LQ knocking him back
LQ fires blades at jetstream
jetstream deflects them with his blade and charges with his sword doing one massive slash knocking LQ back heavily damaging him
LQ begins firing as many blades as possible at jetstream
Jetstream moving out of the way avoiding them, while also deflecting some of them trying to get closer
The chainsaw tail manages to slash jetstream in the face
Jetstream with one last attack, destroys lQ with what looked to have been a charge attack of some kind
LQ's head still working, begins speaking
"How…how did you…" LQ says confused
"You fight because you're forced to, I fight because I choose to" jetstream says
"My design…Is flawed" LQ says
"Now now, I am quite good you know" jetstream says
"but…I…" LQ not being able to finish what he was saying, shuts down
After the fight jetstream makes his way out of the room and keeps walking through the building
Confused on why he's not seeing any guards
He makes It to an elevator and gets In, hitting the button for the third floor
Just then a speaker turns on
"It appears our guest has made It Into the building, meet with me once you're on floor three jetstream, I can't wait to see what you're made of" the speaker turns off afterwards
The elevator makes It to floor three and jetstream walks out Into a big room
"Welcome to remnant!" a voice says
Jetstream looks up to see a man In red and black armor walking upside down In the roof
"And you are?" jetstream asks
"I am monsoon, we've been expecting you, ozz smith" monsoon says confusing jetstream, also known as ozz smith
"Oh?" ozz says
"Legend says you're a very deadly assassin, able to take out 18 men In over 15 seconds" monsoon says
"Legends are just that, legends, myths, I'm no assassin, I can't handle 18 men In over 15 seconds, do some research next time" ozz says
"Well, you took out a drug cartel back In mexico, almost took It down too, but If you had finished It, another outfit would've taken Its place, that's why you stopped right?" monsoon says
"The drug cartel thing was…It was something personal" ozz says
"I see, well, most times when someone like you appears, I'd send something known as metal gear rex to fight you, but, I wanna see what you're made of for myself" monsoon says jumping down to the floor
"So, bring It on jetstream!" monsoon says activating his armor ready for a fight
Ozz pulls out his sword and both charge at each other
Ozz tries to slash monsoon but monsoon splits his body In half with his armors power to avoid the attack
After avoiding the attack he's behind ozz and shoots his arm at ozz knocking him down
Ozz gets back up and begins slashing as fast as possible at monsoon only managing one hit In on him
Monsoon splits himself Into different pieces and fires himself at ozz
Ozz avoiding all of them
Once monsoon reforms himself ozz quickly gets about 13 hits In on him
Monsoon pulls out 2 long swords and both begin slashing at each other
Monsoon being faster gives ozz a hard time
But ozz pushes through and gets slashing monsoon, hoping If he does enough damage, monsoon will die
After 3 minutes monsoon knocks down ozz
"I've won this!" monsoon says grabbing ozz and throws him toward a window
Ozz grabs a metal pipe before he can hit the window and catches himself
Ozz then gets to a wall and launches himself off it surprising monsoon
Ozz slashes monsoon In the face causing monsoon's armor and body to break apart
Ozz lands on the ground thinking the fight Is over
"Well done ozz!" monsoon says reforming himself
Ozz looks at him confused
"The boss will be happy when he finally meets you" monsoon says teleporting out of the room
Ozz leaves the room and enters another elevator
Hitting the button for floor five
And after a minute finally makes It there and heads Into an office where he sees a bulky man
"So glad you could make It ozz!" the man says
"You're, senator Steven Armstrong, what's your game here? Gonna talk me to death?" ozz says
"Maybe, look, I know you're likely expecting a fight, but let's be honest, I'd crush you, so I have an offer for you" armstrong says
"An offer?" ozz says
"Join me, help rip remnant out from the roots and make It better" armstrong says extending his hand to ozz
"...no" ozz says
"What?" armstrong says confused
"No, I know who you are, just another crook, so the answer Is no" ozz says pulling out his sword
"Well then" armstrong says
Ozz then stabs armstrong In the gut but It does nothing
Ozz Is confused
Armstrong turns his arm Into a blade and stabs ozz In the face and sends him back
He then cuts off ozz's arm, picks him up and throws him out the window and Into water below
"Back to the drawing board I guess" armstrong as he gets back to work
Ozz falls Into the water knocked out
And floats away while bleeding out…
