Rodan groaned as she tried to stand up; Anguirus and Caesar walked towards her, the former clicking her tongue.
"So you tried to fight him. How did that go?" Anguirus asked, barely concealing the smug smirk.
"Fuck you," Rodan grumbled.
"Well, I can say that however he dealt the final blow, it must've been a hard hit." Queen Caesar said.
"And what gave that away?" Rodan asked while in her crater.
"Just a hunch, now come on," Queen Caesar pulled her up.
"You don't want to be out for the queens to settle who's stronger now, do you?" Queen Caesar asked.
"No," Rodan grumbled as she cracked her neck. "The golden bitch fought the jackass and held her own; think Godzilla could keep up?"
"She should. Besides, they never settled or finished their battle." Anguirus said, "In their final battle, Godzilla was somewhat able to hurt her, so who knows."
"Yeah, but it still took the jackass to defeat her, and even then, she wasn't dead," Rodan said,
"Is it even possible to knock her out?"
"That's…a good question," Queen Caesar would say.
"Perhaps just like rip off her head, it may not kill her," Anguirus would chuckle.
As the three friends talked, a kaiju slitter passed them. A long blackish body moved along the brushes and trees, trying its best not to be heard. The snapping of branches or shifting of the scrubs blended with the natural ambiance of the forest around her. The kaiju took one look at them before continuing to make its way towards the shore, her motives locked behind the fanged grin of the kaiju.
A warbat, that was what the kaiju was, a species mainly found within the earth, and with the meddling of the alien kaiju and the portal, two had managed to escape in a sense. Still stuck on the island, they wanted to keep a shallow profile so they wouldn't draw the attention of the kaiju girls. At the same time, it may be easier to sneak around some, but not all.
Sniffing the air after catching something odd, Queen Caesar's ears twitched, and she stopped talking, looking around the general area to see what she had picked up on. She spent a serpent and heard rustling. She couldn't discern it from the other noises around the forest, but something was there, or at the very least, it was there.
The warbat stopped moving as Queen Caesar looked around for her, slowly beginning to move as she surveyed the area. The Warbat stopped dead in its tracks, hiding among the forest floors to best camouflage itself.
Rodan and Anguirus noticed Caesar walking away, looking as if she was on high alert.
Rodan glanced at Angurius, who shrugged as both looked back toward her. Rodan was the first to take a step, flapping her wings to boost herself off the ground in a hopping-like motion, landing beside the feline kaiju.
"What's wrong?" Rodan asked.
"Thought I smelt and heard something," Queen Caesar would say as she looks towards Rodan. "It was probably nothing…."
"What could be on this island that we haven't seen before or allowed to live here?" Anguirus asked.
"I dunno, but it smelt like a snake," Queen Caesar would say.
"Don't we have tiny snakes on this island? Maybe you caught wind of one of those?" Rodan would say with a shrug.
"Maybe…" Queen Caesar would say, shrugging lightly as she turned to her friends.
"So, what did you learn from fighting Dagon?" Anguirus asked.
"That he's not invincible," Rodan said with a toothy grin.
Queen Caesar rolled her eyes. "Whatever, let's just go. Nothing we can do now besides wait for the fight tomorrow,"
"Yeah, by the way, did you know that they let Battra roam free around the island?" Anguirus would turn to Rodan.
"They did? I can't wait to see what happens with her out and about." Rodan mutters.
The three kaiju girls left the area; Warbat waited on the ground until she was sure they had left, and she continued her track to the shores. She didn't know what they were talking about, nor did she care. The only pressing issue was leaving the island and seeing what awaited now that she left the hollows.
The second one had a much easier time escaping the island, taking a different route that didn't have kaiju around or had some that didn't care about what she was or where she was going. Said the kaiju happened to be Battra, who sat on a rock watching the snake-like kaiju dash towards the ocean, leaving no visible trails behind as she slithered along the grass and sand.
Huffing lightly to herself, Battra looks away from the kaiju and down to the earth. Her failure was still new, and that wound still stayed with her and would likely last for a long time. To be defeated by those she deemed beneath her, to let some foul creature best her, to use his power, the powers of even less savory kaiju, and finally defeated by Godzilla, not from raw strength, but merely covering her eyes.
She got too careless, too cocky, and now look. The planet is still the same; she couldn't enact what she wanted to pass. Battra balled her fist, looking to the air sharply, wanting to yell, to shout, but nothing came out. Another sign of weakness is screaming and throwing a tantrum because of her failure and mopping around because she lost. It was worse than the loss itself, but she couldn't bear to be around what she deemed worthless kaiju.
Finally, one of those kaiju she deemed as worthless walked towards her. Dagon, carrying an orca and a few berries in hand. He stopped before her, getting a scornful look from the moth. Dagon looks down at her, nothing in his eyes; he looks down at the things in his hands and then back up to Battra.
"I don't know if you're a herbivore…or enjoy eating meat," Dagon would say.
This perplexed Battra, who was taken aback by his sentence, "W-what?" She slowly asked.
"You're not as soft as your sister, who is more of a herbivore, if I have to guess, or maybe she can eat meat. Probably an omnivore," Dagon guessed.
"I-"
"And you're more like yourself and drained kaiju of their bodily fluids, so I would assume you're more carnivorous," Dagon said as he dropped the food by her feet.
Battra looks down at the food with disgust and kicks it away.
"I'm not eating that," Battra snarled, "Why would I ever eat something from the likes of you,"
"Really?" Dagon deadpanned.
"You could have some type of bacteria or infection lingering on you," Battra says.
"So you're scared of that and not biting me to drain me of my energy or blood?" Dagon would ask, leaving the dark moth speechless. "Look, I've extended the olive branch to the aliens…and kept trying my best not to kill them. So, I'm extending one to you. Both of you all had the same goal anyway."
Battra scoffs, looking away. "Don't put me on the same level as those peons."
"Which of them needed to drain me and multiple kaiju's to keep up?" Dagon asked. Battra's eyes snapped towards him with a hiss, veins starting to bulge. "Let's see. Ghidorah came here to fake this planet and, at the same time, practically strip it down to its crust. She didn't want Godzilla and my power to go to waste, so she tried to use it. You wanted to scorch the earth and figured I would be a good ally to use then kill, and when that didn't work, you drained me."
Battra's eyes twitched as she looked at Dagon, gritting her teeth while Dagon only snorted in response.
"The best thing you can do is just glare at me cause any strike won't end in your favor," Dagon said.
"I'll show you," Battra snarled, "You overgrown radioactive fossil,"
As Battra was about to get up, Dagon turned around dismissively, waving her off, much to the confusion of the dark moth.
"Sure you will; it's your choice if you want to grab the branch, no matter how small. With time, everyone will forgive you and the mistakes you have made. After all, you're much more than your mistakes and bigger than your perceived failures," Dagon would say as he walked away. "Godzilla and Ghidorah will be fighting tomorrow; you can stop by to see them try not to kill one another or frame it as an accident."
Battra stood there, fist raised, as she watched him walk away, only capable of making a few noises, trying to come up with any word but couldn't get one out as she walked his walk. This ended with Battra growling and sitting back on the rock.
"I could've been above them all," Battra grumbled to herself.
Dagon himself didn't hear or seem to care what she said. He exhaled heavily as he looked at his hand, slightly shaking either from being nice to Battra after what she pulled, trying his hardest not to be as snarky as he could be, or an asshole with his response and forcing her to get along with them.
"Seems like you're warming up to her," Mothra would say, suddenly appearing beside him.
"I forgot how fast you moths are…and how quiet," Dagon said, "And not really, just trying to be….n-nicer."
"I wonder what could've sparked that change," Mothra said with a chuckle.
"You know why," Dagon said.
"Indeed I do," Mothra chirps, "I knew you weren't as mean and grumpy as everyone thought. All you needed was to fight my sister."
Dagon sighs, "I fought so many battles, meant so many kaiju's, and in an instant everything changed; some kaiju's I considered…..friends to an extent, the others….annoyances," Dagon mutters, "Hey, there isn't like…a Zilla here right?"
"A what?" Mothra asked.
"Never mind." Dagon said, "But does it matter? I was never that outwardly mean to the girls, or at least in my mind."
"You were, but it's good that you're trying. Besides, Junior seemed to like you from the start after, say, the awareness left," Mothra added.
"I never seen another Godzilla. I was the first and last," Dagon said, "Nor did I have parents…I am curious as to where Junior came from."
"Must be a very unreal feeling," Mothra said. "And don't worry about it…Godzilla may tell her on her eighteenth birthday."
"See, y'all like this was already unreal enough….besides; there was already something closely related to me….a real faker," Dagon would say. "But enough about me. You're sister, think she'll be….okay?"
Mothra looks at him, her fast contorting as she thinks about his request. She reviewed several possibilities from her sister being around after her defeat. Her face would start to soften, and she exhaled.
"Truthfully, I do not know at this moment in time. She may come around, but it could be like another Ghidorah on hand….or someone who was like you but….probably not as bad," Mothra answered.
"Yeah, next time we meet someone who wants to destroy the planet, we should kill them or let them wipe out humanity," Dagon said.
"We protect humanity." Mothra folded her arms.
"Well, they don't seem to like that all that much," Dagon would say, "I'm heading to the ocean; if anyone wants me, don't let them know where I'm at."
Mothra watched Dagon walk away, shaking her head slowly as she watched the kaiju.
"I hope those snakes aren't a part of his anyone category," Mothra would say to herself before flying away.

Dagon stopped at the shore, cracking his neck while rolling his left shoulder; glancing down, he noticed the sand was slightly misplaced. Dagon then looked towards the ocean.
"Great…something escaped," Dagon said to himself. "Do I care about the potential harm it may or may not cause?"
Dagon stares at the ocean, arms crossed, as he weighs his options before going with the better choice for the island. It's better to drag whatever it was back to the island. If they were to provoke the humans, it may just come back around to bite them in the ass. Dagon dives into the ocean and swims off; he doesn't know where to go. He just swam towards the nearest landmark until he found the missing kaiju.
"Most likely, they'll go to Japan, or at least somewhere in the U.S...…maybe New York," Dagon would say to himself.

"These kaiju are getting on my nerves," Gyozen grumbled.
Several jets flew overhead as one of the Warbat was destroying buildings on land. Knocking buildings onto the street to crush the alterity while the second Warbat was near the coast, destroying the jets as they went around for another strike.
"What the hell are those things? Medusa kaiju?" Gyozen asked.
"Well, actually, it's called a Gorgon," Ibuki said.
"I don't care, just try to kill them," Gyozen would say.
"Are defensives aren't as strong as before due to the…you know," Ibuki said.
"Sir, the kaiju boy is fast approaching."
"Great." Gyozen would say, "Hopefully, he takes those two out and leave" Gyozen would say.

"They put up a better fight than those other human things," Warbat one would say.
"They have better weapons," The second one said, "I didn't even know this place was like this. Interesting to explore."
"Yeah, I…what's that?" The first one would say, looking at the blue glow in the ocean.
"I- wow!" The second one dodged as a blue beam pierced the ocean and a building as it flew into the sky.
Gyozen stood in the office, eye twitching as a forehead vein appeared.
Dagon breaches the water, looking at the two kaiju, and quirks a brow. "Wow, I didn't know you all came like that. A snake lower half.."
"And I didn't know kaiju could be so broad and flat," The second one hissed as she rose to appear more prominent.
"I'm a male," Dagon said as his plates began to glow, doing his intimidation display.
The Warbat didn't back down, resulting in Dagon firing his atomic breath, but she dodged and lunged towards Dagon, stopping midway and swinging her tail into Dagon. Holding his arms up, Dagon stops the strike, but it leaves a red mark on his arm.
The strike was like a whip. Dagon looked at his arm and then back towards the Warbat, who went for another strike, but Dagon dodged the second strike. She went for a third, but Dagon grabbed her tail. She looks at Dagon, who grins, and he yanks her towards him, slamming his shoulder into her chin and knocking out her teeth. He ran towards land, carrying her with his shoulder before throwing her onto the ground, punching her in the face twice before he stood up.
"Well, guess y'all aren't that tough." Dagon faced the first one, who hissed at him and then lunged towards Dagon; he grabbed her shoulders to stop her, slamming her into the ground and causing explosions. As she did, he dragged her across the floor and threw her into the sky.
Dagon plates glow, and he fires his atomic breath toward the Warbat; she spreads her wings and flies out of the way, coming back at him.
"Of course, the snake flies," Dagon dryly said as the Warbat slammed into him. Dagon grabbed her waist to pull her off, but she wrapped her tail around Dagon, and his arms slowly constricted him. Dagona attempted to flex to get her off.
To stop that, she bites his neck, straight in his gills, making Dagon roar as his plates begin to glow blue. Warbat put her wings over his face to keep him trapped. Dagon's body starts to glow blue along with his eyes while he lets out a nuclear pulse, sending her into a building. Her wings fried off her body badly burnt. She slowly attempted to stand, but Dagon grabbed her tail and dragged her towards the ocean.
"This was a waste of my time," Dagon grumbled.

"You ready for the big day, Godzilla?" Anguirus would ask.
"Yes, I am." Godzilla would say, "Last time we fought, I was getting closer in terms of power, and I recently fought Battra. I should be stronger than her…but who knows?"
"Well, what's the worst that can happen? If she tries to go rogue from her win, Dagon and Battra are here to stop her…but are you fighting to like one person getting knocked out? Cause I don't think she can get knocked out," Queen Caesar said.
"That's a good question, snapping her neck to the point of paralyzing her; she will heal eventually….I think, but if she doesn't, nothing of value would be lost," Godzilla said.
"Godzilla," Mothra chastised as she landed.
"What? It's the best way to end the fight if I need it," Godzilla said.
"But there's no way for her to get a boost during your fight, so who knows how strong she would be," Mothra said.
"Yeah, yeah," Godzilla waved her hand, "So where's the prick?"
"Godzilla," Mothra folded her arms.
Godzilla rolled her eyes, "Where's Dagon."
"Here," Dagon said, dragging both Warbats by their tails.
"What the hell are those?" Anguirus asked.
"Snake kaiju…" Dagon tossed them on the ground. "I have no idea where they came from, but they were weak and didn't cause that much damage, but enough to possibly make their defenses around the island."
"They were never on this island before; you sure they didn't come from somewhere else?" Mothra asked.
"I saw a trail leading off this island from them, so they had to come from the isl- wait…" Dagon would say. "I think I know where they came from. Either before or after the rematch, I'll throw them."
"Any word of advice to Godzilla?" Mothra would ask.
Dagon looks at Godzilla, quirking a brow. "Fight her, that's it."
"Wow, thanks." Godzilla deadpanned as Mothra elbowed her.
"What advice can I give you? I fought her with others; you even helped me fight Ghidorah for a time. There's nothing I can tell you. There are no secret tricks to fighting them. Sadly, They're one of the view kaiju close to us in power, like a natural rival. Say for the space one or red thing."
"I'm sorry, space one?" Godzilla asked.
"Don't worry about it," Dagon answered. "Point is. Ghidorah is the weakest of her kind. You'll do fine tomorrow, and if you don't. What do you have to lose?"
"Pride for one thing," Godzilla grumbled.
"You still have that after fighting me?" Dagon quirks a brow.
"Fuck you," Godzilla hissed.
Dagon smirked as he grabbed the snake tails and dragged them away.
Come the next day. Godzilla and Ghidorah would have their rematch, and Godzilla needs to win it.
