He looked through the universes. "That being said, I wonder if they'll ever use Olimar in the prime universe against the emperor. Only time may tell." He said as he continued to look through the universes until one caught his attention.
"Oh, what's this?" He wondered as he looked into it. "Ooooh, now this one looks really interesting!"
He looked up with a grin. "So, have you ever wondered what it's like to be different? Meaning you wake up in someone else's body? And no, I'm not talking about the universe where Ruby and Peach swapped bodies. This is entirely different! I'm mostly referring to when you die and you wake up as something else."
He chuckled. "Well, I'm just gonna pause here and let you figure it out for yourself. I'll let them find out momentarily!"
"...Ey… ou… ay? …Ellooooo? Yoohooooo! You okay?"

"Oh good, you're okay! I found you laying here on the grass and got worried."

Eevee tilted his head. "Uh, yeah…? What, were you expecting to be a Lechonk or a Pineco when you woke up? I don't think Zorua can just turn into someone else just like that. Unless you happen to be a Ditto."
"No, you don't understand! I'm a human! …At least, that's what I'm supposed to look like!"
"A… hoo… man? Never heard of it."
"What do you mean you've never heard of-"
"Help! Heeeeeeelp!"
The duo turned to see a frantic Butterfree flying around in a panic before she turned to face the duo. "I need your help! You were the first two Pokemon I've seen!"
"What's the problem?" Eevee asked.
"My baby fell into a fissure and can't get out!"
"What?!" Ruby turned around toward the forest. "Inside the forest?"
"Oh no, tell me he didn't fall into one of those dungeons!" Eevee said.
"...Dungeon…?" Ruby wondered.
"I'll explain later! We'll help out, ma'am!" Eevee then rushed into the forest with Ruby following him.
BGM: Tiny Woods (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
"Okay, okay, time out. What the heck is-... wait, what's with the walls and hallways? Didn't we just go into a forest?"
"Basically, there are these dungeons all over the world where folks go in for explorations and rescue folks from wild Pokemon. There's just one problem…"
"That being…?"
"The layout's different each and every time you go in. So, it's basically impossible to memorize."
Ruby sweatdropped. "Oh great, so it's Trigonometry but in a dungeon!"
"...Trigo-what now?"
"Never mind." Ruby shook her head. "Let's go find her baby."
"Right!" Eevee nodded as they both went through a hallway where they would bump into a wild Sunkern.
"Oh, hi there!" Ruby smiled. "Nice to meet you, I'm Ruby and I'm trying to figure out where to-"
"Keeeern!" The Sunkern Tackled her.
"Ooof! What was that for?!" Ruby demanded.
"So this is all new to you… whoa…" Eevee whispered before Tackling the Sunkern before turning around and started clapping, where Ruby found herself getting boosted in power, then Ruby proceeded to headbutt the Sunkern.
"Suuuuun…" The Sunkern fell on its back in defeat.
"Should've warned you that wild Pokemon you encounter in Dungeons aren't friendly."
"You could've said that earlier before I got tackled by a dang Sunkern!"
"Look at the bright side, at least you didn't get KO'd by a Sunkern. That would've been embarrassing."
"Mmmph…" Ruby pouted as they walked into a room where they were met with an Exeggcute and a sleeping Pidgey.
"Exeggcute! Exeggcute!"
"Alright, guess I have no choice here!" Ruby said, suddenly standing on her hind legs and reaching for her back. "Sorry Exeggcute, but I'm gonna have to swing my scythe at you and-" She pulled out nothing. "...Huh? …Oh… right."
"Who do you think you are, a Scyther?" Eevee teased.
"I just woke up in a tiny fuzzy body, okay!"
"Cuuuuuuuute." Exeggcute unleashed Hypnosis on Ruby.
"Ooooh… sleepy…" Ruby groaned before falling asleep.
Eevee sweatdropped. "Oh boy…" He shook his head before turning around and body slamming into the Exeggcute. He even let out a Growl to intimidate the Pokemon before finishing it off with a Tackle.
Eevee then turned to the sleeping Zorua and proceeded to tickle her nose with his tail.
"Zzzzz… hehehe… hahahaha… achoo!" Ruby sneezed.
"Morning, sleepy head!" Eevee smiled.
"I think that Exeggcute did the same thing to that Pidgey…" Ruby mumbled as they walked off and went into another room, where they found some stairs. "Oh! …Wait… stairs in a forest?"
"It's more likely than you think~" Eevee giggled before walking up the stairs, causing Ruby to sweatdrop.
"This is some wild dream I'm having…" She mumbled as she walked up the stairs where they encountered a Wurmple on the second floor.
"Wurmple Wurm! Wurmpleeee!" The Wurmple unleashed String Shot on Ruby the moment she came up the stairs.
"Ack! Plepth!" Ruby tore the web from her mouth. "Who uses String Shot on a lady climbing the stairs?!" She yelled, claws coming out of her paws as she used Scratch on the Wurmple.
"Pllle!" The Wurmple cried as Eevee finished it off.
"You okay?"
"No, I think I got some webbing in my mouth. Blegh!" Ruby groaned as they wandered around, taking out the wild Pokemon that came their way, including a Pidgey that tried to peck Eevee, but Ruby Scratched it away as they would soon find the stairs and went up.

BGM: At the End of the Road (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
"Ooooh… mom, where are you… I'm scared…" A Caterpie whimpered as Ruby and Eevee walked in.
"Hey! We're here to rescue you!" Eevee said.
Caterpie turned around. "Really?! Oh yay!" He scurried over to them.
"Yup, let's go!" Ruby smiled as they turned around to find a tile on the ground. She curiously walked over to it and warped out. "Whoooooa!"

BGM: Mission Clear! (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
Ruby found herself in front of the Butterfree. "Wah! Okay… that's… gonna take time getting used to." She said as she was joined by Eevee and Caterpie.
"Oh, my baby!" The Butterfree hugged him. "Thank you so much for finding him!"
"No prob!" Eevee smiled as Butterfree handed them a Tiny Reviver Seed, a Pecha Berry and Five hundred Pokedollars.
"There's your reward. We'll see you around!" Butterfree flew off with Caterpie.
"That was honestly pretty fun." Ruby said.
"Yeah, once you get used to it, it can be pretty cool." Eevee nodded. "Soooo uh, you have any place to live?"
Ruby paused for a moment. She wanted to say "her home", but considering she's a Pokemon, she didn't know what to say. "Um… I don't really know."
"Come on, follow me!" Eevee said as he guided her.

A few moments later…
"Okay, you can open your eyes!"
Ruby opened her eyes, seeing a home in front of her. "Whoa!"
BGM: Rescue Team Base (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
The home in question had a dark exterior with red highlights as the ground had red leaves scattered all around the yard. The mailbox was black with red on the top of it.
"Yeeeeeah, that was the best I could do for a Zorua home…" Eevee admitted.
"It's… it's…" Ruby's eyes sparkled. "Beautiful! Oh man, this is so cool!" She said, her tail wagging in excitement. So this is what it's like to live as a Zorua… it honestly… feels natural despite me being human!
"Glad you liked it!" Eevee smiled. "So uh… listen, I was thinking. The way both of us handled that Dungeon… not to mention you were able to pick up on things rather quickly, I was wondering… do you want to form a Rescue Team with me? I want to help fellow Pokemon out and make sure the world is a safer place, ya know?"
Ruby smiled. "Sure. I wouldn't mind!"
"Awesome! So what should we name our team?"
"Oh, that's easy! It's RW-" Ruby paused, unsure where Weiss, Blake and Yang might be. "Um… Team… Beacon?"
"Beacon?" Eevee tilted his head.
"Ya know… like… Beacon of Hope?"
"Ooooh! Yeah, that's a good one! I didn't think of it like that. Yeah, from this day forth, we are Team Beacon!"
The next day…
"Zzzz…" Ruby woke up from her bed, which was a nest filled with dark red leaves as she stretched. "Mmm, I haven't slept like that in ages…" She said as she looked around. "Wait, this isn't my roo-... ooooh, I'm still a Zorua."
Ruby looked at her paw and tried to pinch herself, but to no avail. "Mmm…" She proceeded to nip at her paw instead. "Yowch!" She yelped as she looked around. "Okay, this is definitely not a dream. I'm still a Zorua…"
She closed her eyes. "Why can't I remember what happened? I was human one moment and Zorua the next." She mumbled before shaking her head. "Ah, whatever, I'm sure I'll remember."
She looked around the interior of her home, seeing some apples bunched together in a barrel, a little tiny flower garden near the door and also a Phanpy Watering Can.
She smiled. "Cute." She then walked out the door. "I wonder if anything's in the mai-... oh!" She would see Eevee right at her doorstep sleeping.
"Zzzzz…"
"Hello…?" Ruby nudged him awake.
"Huh…? …Oh!" Eevee got back up with a blush. "Ehehe, my bad… I got so excited that I kinda dozed off here."
Ruby sweatdropped. "Ya don't say…" She said as a Pelipper flew by and dropped some mail in the mailbox before flying away.
"Ooooh, wonder what we got!" Eevee said as they walked over as Ruby pulled out the mail and tried to open it up with her teeth.
"Rrrgh… where's some opposable thumbs when you need 'em!" Ruby grumbled, pulling out the letter and reading it.
"BZZZT BZZZT BZZZT. I heard about you from Caterpie. Please, we need your help. Magnemite is in trouble. A strange electromagnetic wave flowed through a dungeon and stuck Magnemite and Magnemite together. That isn't enough to form a Magneton. It's not complete the way it is now. Please, we need help! - From Magnemite's Friend"
The two looked at each other.
"Let's go!" Ruby said.
"Yeah!"

Later…
BGM: Thunderwave Cave (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
"Oh, you came! BZZZT." A Magnemite said as the two Pokemon came over.
"Our friends are trapped in the sixth floor. BZZZT BZZZT." The other spoke.
"Alright, let's go!" Eevee said as they walked in.
"So this is Thunderwave Cave…" Ruby shuddered a bit. "I dunno why, but I'm getting all tingly."
"You too?"
The two of them walked around, where they were greeted by a Rattata and its Alolan variant, both of which using Quick Attack, and then Eevee decided to kick some dirt and used Sand Attack on both of them.
"Ratt! Ratta!"
Both of them knocked the Rattata down as they proceeded to go around until they found some stairs next to a sleeping Elekid. They both tiptoed around it before going down into the next floor.
Once they did, the stairs disappeared on them as they were greeted with a Voltorb glaring at them from the other side, which quickly rolled on over and used Thundershock on Ruby as their backs were turned to it.
"Yack!" Ruby yelped and turned around to glare at the Voltorb.
"Torb Vol!" The Voltorb cried, only to get smacked sideways by the duo as they went through the hallways, knocking out an Alolan Rattata and an Elekid that used Thundershock, but both Pokemon dodged and tackled the Elekid together to knock it down for the count, then they found some stairs and went on in right as a female Nidoran walked in.
"Nido…?" The Nidoran shrugged it off and kept walking.
On the third floor, a Plusle and Minun used Helping Hand on each other. "Plus Plus~!"
"Min!"
The duo looked at each other before taking out the two Pokemon as they kept going, knocking out a Nidoran that tried to use Poison Sting on Eevee, then they kept going and found the stairs… only for an Emolga to get in their way.
"Emah! Emoh!" The Emolga cried, using Double Team and surrounded the duo… to which Eevee used Sand Attack on them all until the real one got struck. "Mahga!" The Emolga cried, wiping his face, which had Ruby Tackle it to defeat it.
"Ha! In your fa- bzzzzzt!" Ruby grimaced as she was paralyzed for a few moments before she shook it off. "Hooo… that was rude." She mumbled as they went down.
Further down, they took out a few Emolga and Alolan Rattata, along with some Nidoran… and then a Pawmi jumped in with a Thundershock, but Eevee sidestepped and then tackled the Pawmi, knocking it down with the help of Ruby using Scratch.

BGM: At the End of the Road
By the time they got down to the sixth floor, they would see the two Magnemite stuck together. "Oh… there they are." Ruby said.
"Come on, let's pull them apart." Eevee said.
"...How are we going to pull them apart if we're quadrupedal?"
"Uuuum… we use our teeth?"
"On a Magnemite?"
"Well, we can't exactly push them apart!"
"Fair enough…" Ruby nodded as she took one magnet on the right Magnemite while Eevee did the other.
"On thwee! Wan, too, thwee!"
They pulled the Magnemite apart with surprisingly little effort.
"There we ho!" Ruby smiled before spitting out the magnet. "Sorry, there we go!"
"Thank you! BZZZT BZZT!"
Once outside…
BGM: Mission Clear!
"Thank you for saving them. BZZ BZZZ."
One of the Magnemite handed them a Big Apple, an Oran Berry and six hundred and fifty Pokedollars before wandering off.
"Okay, aside from some Emolga and those dark Rattata, that was pretty good… though I was a bit tense. I think it was those Emolga." Eevee said.
"Yeah, but it wasn't so bad."
"True!" Eevee nodded. "Let's head back home."

Later that night…
BGM: Dream (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
"Ruby!"
"You couldn't destroy me with your precious silver eyes… just like your mother couldn't."
"You… won't… get away with this…!"
"Oh, but I already have. I have the four relics… and I'm going to keep you alive just so you can watch your world fall."
"Salem…!"
"Can you hear me, gods? I want you to destroy this world where I can finally have my rest!"
"SALEM, NOOOOO!"
"We… we failed…"

"Gah!" Ruby sat up awake, seeing that it was morning. "Ugh… nightmare…? Mmm, I still can't remember a darn thing what happened in my world…"
At that moment, the earth started to rumble. "Gaaaaaah! An earthquake?!" She yelped as a Diglett popped up in her home. "Eeeek!"
"Huh? Oh! Sorry about that! I made a wrong turn, my apologies!" The Diglett dug back underground.
"Sheesh… give me a heart attack why don't you…" She mumbled, closing the hole up before she walked outside… and saw the Diglett popping up all over the place.
"Over here~! Now I'm over there~ Lalala~ …Oh! Wait… darn it, where's my parents?" The Diglett wondered before going back underground right as Eevee walked by.
BGM: Rescue Team Base
"What was that all about?"
"I don't know, but I didn't know Digletts could people heart attacks."
"You too?" Eevee sweatdropped. "Oh, by the way, I've been meaning to ask… you said you were a hooman, right?"
"Hue-man."
"Oooh, right."
"And yes, I was human, but… apparently I woke up in this world as a Pokemon. Do you know anything about that?"
"No, I've never heard of humans before… that's odd." Eevee mumbled.
"Oh…"
"Ah, don't worry about it. I'm sure we'll find out who you are eventually!"
"Right." Ruby nodded.
"Now come on, I wanna show you the Square." Eevee said as he walked off with Ruby following her.

"Whoooooa!" Ruby said in awe.
"Here, let me show ya around!" Eevee walked off. "Here is the Kecleon Shop where you can buy items… just uh… whatever you do, don't steal from them. They tend to be a bit… overkill."
Ruby sweatdropped. "I… see." She said, walking by as the Kecleon Bros gave her a friendly wave.
"Over here is the Felicity Bank, where you can have Persian store your money. Over there is Wigglytuff's Camp Corner, where he lets you buy some land for some Pokemon you can recruit for your team… though there are rumors he's only visiting since he has his own Pokemon base somewhere."
"Really?"
"Yeah, though I've heard he's got an… explosive temper and his right hand Pokemon is a Chatot."
"...You sure you're not confusing him for another Wigglytuff?"
"Eh, it's just a rumor." Eevee shrugged as the Wigglytuff happily waved while eating an apple, alongside a Lombre, a Bellsprout and a Snubbul. "Anyway, over here is the Kangaskahn Storage where you can safely store your items, and over here is the Gulpin Link Shop."
"Link shop?"
"Something about linking moves together… I dunno, he's always so vague about it." Eevee shrugged. "Anyway, north of here is Whiscash Pond, south of here is Makuhita and Urshifu Dojo. It was just Makuhita but he teamed up with an Urshifu and, well, I've heard from folks that Urshifu's ways are… sadistic, at best."
Ruby paled. "Oh…"
"Yeeeeah… anyway, over this way!" Eevee wandered over to the Pelipper Post Office. "And over here is the Pelipper Post Office, where you can find requests from Pokemon in need. Go on, pick one!"
"Okay." Ruby nodded as she looked at the board before finding one that caught her attention, pulling it off.
"Oooh, what'd you find?" Eevee wondered as they looked down to read it.
"Help me!
I don't know how I got here, but I'm trapped here with all these weird Pokemon staring at me! If I had my trusty hammer, I would smack these guys silly! I'm also in some weird cave.

"...A Pachirisu with a hammer?" Emolga tilted his head. "Curious."
"I think I know who this is."
"You do?"
"Call it a hunch. Let's go. We need to move to Thunderwave Cave."
"Right, Let's go save this Pachirisu!"

"Aaaagh! Everywhere I go, it's different! There's no way out! There's-"
"Hey!" Ruby called out.
The Pachirisu paused, turning its head to face the duo. "Wait a second… I know that voice. Ruby!"
"Nora!" Ruby smiled as the two Pokemon glomped each other with a hug.
"Nora the Pachirisu?" Eevee tilted his head in confusion. "Somehow, I don't think that fits…"
"Wait, Ruby… why are you a Zorua?"
"Why are you a Pachirisu?"
"I don't know! Of all Pokemon to wake up as, it had to be this! I should be a Tinkaton! Not a Pachirisu!" She grabbed Ruby's shoulders and shook her. "I'm a Tinkaton trapped in a Pachirisu body!"
Eevee sweatdropped. "Uuuuh… can't really help you with that. I don't even know how to make a costume, let alone get materials for it."
Nora turned to the Eevee. "Who's this?"
"Oh, this is Eevee. Eevee, this is Nora."
"Hi!"
"Sup!" Nora saluted. "So uh… have you found any of our friends?"
"No, you're the only one I've found."
"Well, good news! I found a friend too."
"Really? Where are they?"
"I'm looking right at her."
Ruby sighed. "Never mind. Come on, let's head back."

"Hmmm!" Nora paced around Ruby's home. "So! Even you lost your memories over what happened in our world, and now we're stuck here."
"I'm afraid so."
"Two humans in a Pokemon world where we can understand fellow Pokemon. Well, at least I understand how Gloria feels."
"Gloria?" Eevee tilted her head.
"She's Scottish." Both of them said.
Eevee sweatdropped. "I don't know what that means, but that somehow sounds terrifying…"
"Sooo… I guess we're the only ones here, so far?" Nora asked.
"I guess." Ruby mumbled.
"Well, we're just gonna have to find 'em!" Nora said. "Not sure when though…"
"Yeah…" Ruby nodded. "By the way, we formed a Rescue Team group called Team Beacon!"
"Beacon? Like… Beacon of Hope? I like that. I want in!"
Eevee smiled. "I was hoping you would!"
"Awesome!" Nora fist pumped. "Now let's go and save fellow Pokemon! …And find me a hammer too!"
In the middle of the night…
"Zzzzz…"
Suddenly, an earthquake!
"Waaah!" Ruby yelped as she was jolted awake. "Another one?!" She exclaimed before the earthquake died down. "...Okay… odd… now where was I… oh right, I was snuggling next to Crescent Rose."
She fell back asleep. "Zzzzz…"
The next morning…
"Mmm…" Ruby woke up with a stretch. "Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I'm happy that I turned into a cute little dog." She giggled. "Seriously, what was that earthquake…?"
"PARDON OUR INTRUSION!"
Suddenly, a Dugtrio popped up in front of her.
"KYAAAAAAAAAH!" Ruby screamed.
"Forgive us for startling you, but this is urgent! Surely you have felt an earthquake last night… that is because our son, Diglett, was kidnapped by a Skarmory and taken to Mt. Steel! It is a vicious ruffian! Please do be careful!"
Dugtrio went back underground.
BGM: Rescue Team Base
"Nuh-... no caffeine for me, th-thank you…!" Ruby whimpered before shaking it off. "Wait… Diglett? The same kid who was digging around here yesterday? …I gotta tell the others!" She quickly ran out.
At that moment, she was greeted by Eevee and Nora. "Hey!" Nora waved. "...Why do you look like you got spooked by a ghost?'
"W-well… I just got asked to go on a rescue mission."
Eevee's eyes sparkled. "You just got asked to go on a rescue mission?!"
"THAT'S RIGHT!"
Dugtrio popped up between them.
"Kyaaaah!" Eevee and Nora screamed while Ruby had braced for impact.
"Our son, Diglett, was kidnapped! Please go rescue him at Mt. Steel! The Pokemon you are to be wary about is Skarmory, for he kidnapped our son!"
He went back underground.
"...Ooookay, I guess that answers that question." Eevee said.
"Hold on a moment. How can a Skarmory kidnap a Diglett? Better yet, can't Diglett dig his way out to avoid Skarmory?" Nora pointed out.
"Regardless, we gotta move!" Ruby said as they took off.
"No, seriously, staying underground would be perfect because Skarmory wouldn't snatch him up! …Ooooh, wait for me!" Nora ran after them.

BGM: Mt. Steel (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
"This is… where Diglett is at?" Ruby wondered.
"CORRECT!" Dugtrio showed up a third time. "Diglett is at the peak! Please be careful!" He went back underground.
"That's… gonna be a climb." Eevee said.
"We can handle it." Ruby said as they walked in and were greeted with a Beldum who Tackled them, but was knocked out almost immediately by the trio as they wandered around, picking up some berries to snack on while also knocking out a Tyrogue that tried to tackle them.
However, a Baltoy confronted them and used Psychic on Nora, but Ruby got in the way as the Psychic didn't affect her in the slightest. "Bal…?!" Baltoy whimpered as Ruby scratched it down and then Eevee finished it off with a Tackle.
"Thanks!" Nora smiled as they walked ahead and found some stairs, while also noticing a Tyrogue showing off to a Baltoy and a Beldum, flexing his muscles with Focus Energy.
"Ty Ty!"
"...Bel Bel."
"Toy…" The Baltoy shook his head as they went in different directions, causing the Tyrogue to stand there in shock.
"Who'd want flimsy noodles anyway?" Nora chuckled as they went into the next few floors where some Spearow were unlucky enough to get zapped by Nora, while Eevee and Ruby went head to head with a Zigzagoon and it's Galarian counterpart.
A Meditite picked Ruby up from the side and threw her to the side. "Medi!" The Meditite cried, proceeding to use Detect to prevent Ruby from attacking it… so Ruby proceeded to sharpen her claws with Hone Claws, which made the Meditite whimper a bit before Ruby Scratched it to knock it down.
"You okay?" Eevee asked as Nora was sitting on a KO'd Galarian Zigzagoon.
"Yeah, I'll be fine!" Ruby nodded as Nora tossed her an Oran Berry which she happily ate up, then they kept going where Eevee knocked down a few Beldum before going up the stairs, along with some unfortunate Spearow that crossed Nora.
Up ahead, they saw a Geodude checking itself out on Aron's armor, using Rock Polish to polish himself up. "Geo!" Geodude smirked, looking rather happy he looked so polished… while at the same time, an Alolan Geodude Charged and then tried to tackle the trio, but was quickly knocked out.
The Aron and Kantonian Geodude tried to help out, the latter gaining the upper hand with his speed but were still knocked out by Ruby's Hone Claws/Scratch combo. They went through the hallways, knocking out more unfortunate Spearow who were unaware of a certain Pachirisu.
Further ahead, after knocking down a few Beldum and Meditite, a Mime Jr seemingly accompanied them by mimicking their movements… until Nora got annoyed and Quick Attacked the Mime Jr into a wall and used Thundershock to finish it off.
"Mimic me, will you!" Nora grumbled as they kept going, knocking down a Pinsir that had Vice Gripped Eevee, but Ruby and Nora knocked the Pinsir down and kept going, where they also knocked out a Klink and another Mime Jr.

They reached the top floor where they would see Diglett on the other side of the chasm. "Heeeeey!" Eevee called out to him.
"Huh…? Oh! My heroes… help me!"
"Couldn't you just dig underground yourself?" Nora asked.
"I-I could b-but… I'm scared of heights…"
Nora sweatdropped. "Ooooh… that explains it."
At that moment, they heard a loud cry as Skarmory emerged from the chasm. "Begone!"
BGM: Danger! There's Trouble! (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
"Why did you kidnap this Diglett?" Ruby demanded.
"Are you kidding? These infernal earthquakes keep startling me awake and I can't get enough sleep because of it! So because of that, I had to kidnap this Diglett just so I can get some peace and quiet. It's all this Diglett's fault… him and his family are troublemakers!"
"Okay, so it's true there have been many earthquakes lately, but I don't buy the fact that Diglett and his family are the cause of it-"
"SILENCE!" Skarmory interrupted Eevee. "If you keep talking, it'll make me more agitated! Now keep away from this interloper or I will have to fight you!"
The three Pokemon looked at each other, and with a nod, they got ready to fight.
"So be it!" Skarmory flashed his wings. "I will have to make an example out of-"
Suddenly, two Electro Balls struck the Skarmory. "Gaaaaaaaaah!" He cried as they turned to see two Magnemite approaching.
"We came to help. BZZZ BZZZZ."
The Skarmory shook off the pain and flew up. "We will see who-"
Skarmory was immediately interrupted by three Thundershocks, courtesy of the Magnemite and Nora as Skarmory fell into the chasm below.

Ruby looked down in the chasm. "Is he gonna be okay?"
"Ooooooooow…"
"Yeah, he'll be fine." Nora said.
"Allow us to save Diglett. BZZZ BZZZZ."
Later…
BGM: Mission Clear!
"Oh happy day! Happy day!" Diglett cheered. "I was so scared and so high up, I still feel like my feet are still walking on air!"
…He has feet? The Magnemite and Eevee thought.
"Wait, you have feet?" Ruby wondered.
"But… wait… I thought… uuuuh… I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!" Nora yelled.
"Oh, our son has returned! Happy day!"
Dugtrio appeared in front of them all.
"Ack! My electromagnetic heart! BZZZT!" Magnemite said.
"Yours?! What about mine?! BZZZT!"
"You get used to it." The others said.
"Oh, Papa! I'm so happy to see you!"
"You're not hurt, are you?"
"Thankfully, no! If it weren't for these Magnemite, they'd be stuck trying to figure out what to do."
"Indeed. BZZZ." Magnemite nodded.
"That is wonderful to hear!" Dugtrio said. "Here is your reward!" He gave them a Max Ether, a heal Seed and eight hundred Pokedollars. "Come along, son!"
"Yeah!" Diglett nodded as they went back underground.
"I STILL WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE FEET!" Nora yelled. "...Crap, they can't hear me."
"So, we can't thank you enough for helping us back there." Eevee said. "So um… would you mind if you joined our team?"
"Do you have a place for me to stay? BZZT."
"Uuuuh… I don't think we do…"
"Most unfortunate. Sorry, but I cannot join you." He then wandered off with the other Magnemite behind him.

"Awww…" Eevee pouted.
"Wait… Nora, where did you sleep last night?" Ruby asked.
"I crashed at Eevee's place. We're good roommates!"
Last night…
"Zzzzzz…." Nora slept, snoring loudly in her sleep.
"Mmmmph!" Eevee grunted, placing hay over his ears.
Back in the present…
Your snoring begs to differ… Eevee mumbled.
"Well… I guess we can-"
"AIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" A voice cried as they turned to see Bellsprout running away in a panic.
"Bellsprout! What's the hold up?" Eevee asked.
"Muh-muh-muh-monster in the square! I'm too weak to face such a beast!"
"M-Monster?!" Eevee whimpered.
"Come on, let's go check it out!" Nora said as they took off running, with Eevee reluctantly following.
"G-Gah! Back, you vile beast!" Lombre said.
"I'm not a vile beast! I'm just trying to find my friends!"
"Ha! That's what you would say!"
"Throw another stick at it, Lombre!" Snubbull said.
"And make it madder?! You're out of your mind!"
"What's going on here?" Ruby asked as they approached the square, where they would see a Froslass in the square.
"A Fuh-Fuh-Fuh-FROSLASS?!" Eevee yelped. "What's a scary demon like that doing over here?!"
"I'm not a scary demon!"
"Wait…" Ruby narrowed her eyes. "I know that voice."
"So do I!" Nora smiled.
"Wait…" The Froslass's eyes widened. "Ruby? Nora?!"
"Weiss!" They both said as they tackled her into a hug.
"Weiss?" Everyone wondered.
"Wait, you know this one? This Froslass isn't here to take us to a mountain and freeze us to death?" Lombre wondered. "...Phew!"
"That is a relief… I need to go tell Bellsprout." Snubbull took off running.
"Weiss the Froslass…" Eevee mused. "That… is fitting compared to Nora and Ruby." He said.
"Where have you been?" Ruby asked.
"In some snowy mountain that I woke up at. I spent a few days wandering around until I came across this place… and then everyone got spooked because of the Froslass stereotype…" She mumbled.
"Come on, let's head back to our base. We'll fill you in." Ruby said.
"You have a base? Well, it's probably better than roughing it." Weiss said as they wandered off. "By the way, who's the Eevee? Someone we know?"
"Nope, just a regular Eevee." Ruby said.
"Hi there!" Eevee waved. "Welcome to Team Beacon!"
"Beacon?" Weiss wondered before chuckling. "I guess this is my new team for a while…"
"That's gonna do it for today. See you next time!"
