Blink
Blink
Blink...
Once again, the girl with yellow hair gazes at the familiar wooden ceiling, turning to the side, the woman looks at the door, expecting something, but it never comes.
"Who am I kidding, he's not coming..." with a sigh, the girl with blonde hair gets up from the bed.
Looking again at the door, the girl puts her hand on her face in frustration.
"What am I doing... pathetic..." the girl, as she walked towards the door, donned her usual clothes.
"He's not coming..." The woman walked out of the room with a bitter mood.
As the door opened, the woman stopped and looked up.
"But I really wished he would show up..." the sound of laughter caught the attention of the blonde-haired woman.
"Fufufu, talking to yourself now, huh?" The saber looked to the side and saw the Rider-class servant leaning against the wall of her room.
Artoria narrowed her eyes at the woman.
"What do you want, Rider?" Medusa adjusted her glasses with a smile on her face.
"So much venom in your voice. I came here to invite you for breakfast, and by 'invite,' I mean Sakura asked me to. Oh, it seems like you were expecting someone else, weren't you?" Artoria's eyes widened, and the woman gritted her teeth.
"Maybe I know who you're waiting for... I don't think he'll come... at least not for you." Artoria materialized the holy sword and placed it at Rider's throat.
"Bitch!" But Medusa just smiled as she removed the sword that was close to her neck with two fingers.
"Calm down... I think you'll want to go have breakfast now... maybe the food they're offering is your favorite." Artoria looked at Medusa cautiously.
What does she mean?
"If it's not, I'll eat it myself." Artoria noticed the smile on the woman's face as she walked away.
What...
Don't tell me that...
Artoria ran past Rider, who just smiled, and the blonde girl passed through the corridors of the Emiya's giant house and opened the door to the kitchen.
The woman's eyes widened in surprise; Artoria doubted what she was seeing.
"I told you you'd like what's on the menu." Medusa whispered in Artoria's ear as she passed by the girl.
"Archer?!" The man was sitting on the floor in a relaxed pose, with his hand supporting the knee.
The nameless man turned his torso slightly to see who it was.
Shirou, Rin, Sakura, and Taiga looked at Artoria.
"Oh, you woke up. We were about to wake you up. Look who came to spend the New Year with us." Taiga walked behind the archer and used the man's back as support.
"Oh, right." Artoria whispered as her gaze went toward Rin Tohsaka, who gave a thumbs-up.
"I thought it would be polite to spend the New Year with a moment of camaraderie." Artoria raised an eyebrow; the Archer had a strange smile on his face, and it seemed like the man's body was trembling against his will.
Artoria, looking at Rin, found the girl with her hand on her mouth trying to contain a laugh, and there was a missing command seal on the top of the girl's hand.
Ah, so that's what happened...
Artoria saw Medusa approach the man and sit next to him with a smile that left the sword servant with a scowl.
I almost forgot...
"Saber, why don't you sit too? Senpai is just finishing preparing breakfast." Artoria noticed that Sakura Matou was in the kitchen with Shirou helping him prepare the food, making the sword servant's mouth water.
But something bothered Artoria.
"Why is Archer not helping with food preparation?" Artoria asked with genuine curiosity, causing Shirou to shrink and Rider to chuckle quietly while using her hand to muffle the sound.
The reactions of the others only made Artoria more uncertain as she approached Archer and Rider; the blonde girl sat in front of the man.
Rin laughed and looked at Archer.
"What do you say? Why not help?" Archer looked at his master, who was sitting beside him with narrowed eyes.
"No."
Rin just showed a smile as she leaned her elbow on the table, placing her fist against her cheek.
"There's your answer, Saber." Rin replied with a smile while looking at the girl beside her.
"I guess so... but I'm still happy that you came to celebrate the New Year with us, Archer." The nameless man looked at Artoria as he put his hand on the cheek.
"Oh, of course, I wouldn't miss it for anything." A sarcastic smile on the man's face made Artoria flinch.
Artoria wondered if the man was doing it on purpose; even though he was doing nothing, the Archer in front of her was...
Attractive.
And it seems that Rider noticed that too; the woman licked her lips as she looked at the man.
"Hm, don't be like that, Archer. You'll hurt the girl's heart with your comments," Rin sighed and already knew what was coming. When these three interacted, things didn't end well.
Tohsaka got up and headed towards the kitchen to help Shirou and Sakura. Taiga seemed to have noticed the same and left very slowly.
"Well... I'll go buy some drinks, be right back!" Taiga headed towards the door and disappeared.
"Wait, Taiga... we're still underage..." Shirou sighed as the woman vanished.
Archer looked at Rider, who was beside him. The woman had a precarious yet at the same time reserved smile on her face.
"Oh, forgive me, goddess Medusa. How would you like me to pay for my insolence? Perhaps a divine punishment?" Archer closed one eye as he looked into the Gorgon's eyes.
Rider's eyes widened; Medusa adjusted her glasses and cleared her throat.
"You play dirty..." Medusa licked her lips.
Artoria's ahoge stood on end; the woman did not like Rider's attitude at all.
"A-Archer, you shouldn't say those kinds of things... it's not appropriate..." Artoria's cheeks flushed a bit as she tried to get the man's attention.
Archer looked at the saber in front of him and showed a sarcastic smile.
"I understand, you're jealous, little King." Artoria's eyes widened as the man displayed a cynical smile.
This man... is dangerous...
"Archer, stop provoking, Saber." Everyone heard Rin's reprimand, causing the man to roll his eyes.
Rider saw Archer scratch the wood as if he wanted to say something; the man stopped and looked at Artoria with a calmer expression.
"How's the work going, Saber? I heard you're quite popular where you are." Shirou stopped what he was doing and looked at the man from the corner of his eye.
Is Archer trying to be... polite?
Shirou felt someone touch his shoulder and when he turned his head, he saw Sakura looking at him with a smile.
The red-haired boy smiled back and went back to cooking; Sakura looked at the Archer and gave a small smile.
So, you're out there somewhere, aren't you, Senpai?
Artoria blinked in surprise at the man's question; it was unexpected. She smiled and scratched her right cheek as she responded to the man.
"I'm doing well, thank you for asking. The girls are quite kind to me, but I must admit wearing a maid outfit with cat ears is a bit embarrassing..." Saber scratched her cheek with embarrassment.
"Congratulations..." Artoria's cheeks turned red; Rider looked at the man as if something was missing.
"I'm surprised it lasted this long, to be honest. I bet with Lancer that you would quit the job in a month." Ah, there it is what Rider was waiting for.
"Hey," Artoria said indignantly at the man's comment; the girl's ahoge shrank.
"Haha, sorry. I couldn't resist," Artoria looked at the man with narrowed eyes and then sighed in defeat.
"I thought you and Lancer hated each other?" Artoria picked up some tea that was on the table.
"Oh, we really do hate each other, but the wretch works as a waiter at the place where I work as security," Archer looked with a scowl at the door as if it were the most interesting thing in the world.
"But it seems I lost the bet..." Artoria shrank at the man's comment.
"I don't know how to feel about that..." Archer noticed the woman's gaze.
"Sorry, it was a joke. Don't take it too seriously," Artoria looked at the man and stopped drinking the tea.
"The bet? Or me leaving the job?" Archer didn't answer; he just showed a smile on his face.
The man felt Rider pulling the sleeve of his shirt as if she wanted to get his attention.
"You know, I'll get jealous if you ignore me and only pay attention to Saber," the nameless man noticed that Medusa lowered her glasses a bit and looked directly into his eyes, letting her mystical eyes work.
Blue lines of magecraft near the man's eyes.
?!
He... was resisting the effects of the mystical eyes?
"Rider..." Sakura reprimanded the woman from the kitchen, making the lavender-haired woman shudder.
"Nice try. Maybe when you deliver my order, we can start talking..." Archer looked at the woman with a scowl, and the blue lines near his eyes became more apparent. Medusa adjusted her glasses and cleared her throat.
The lines of Magecraft slowly disappeared and the man rubbed his tired eyes.
"Order, what are you referring to, Archer?" Artoria was curious about what the man said.
Medusa put the hand in her bag and took out something...
A book?
Oh, I almost forgot... Rider works in a bookstore.
Rider handed the book to Archer, but at the moment he pulled it, he felt resistance from the woman.
The nameless man looked at Rider, who was smiling.
"The Art of War?" Artoria had stood up and was standing next to the two; the sword servant was looking at the title of the book, and it seemed like the woman's words caught everyone's attention in the room.
Rin huffed at the book that the archer chose.
"Why am I not surprised..." Rin went back to cutting vegetables, but there was a scowl on Tohsaka's face.
Shirou just stopped what he was doing for a second and went back to work.
"Sen... Archer, I think it's good to exercise reading, but why did you choose this book?" Sakura asked with her hand near her heart; the girl was visibly concerned.
Rider stopped holding the book, which Archer took advantage of, picking it up and putting it in his pocket; it wasn't a large book.
Artoria raised an eyebrow, not understanding the reason for the tension in the room.
Rider just adjusted her hair with a smile on her face.
"Nothing special, just extra information for when I return to work." The sound of a knife hitting something violently caught everyone's attention, except the Archer, who just kept looking at the turned-off TV.
"Tohsaka?" Shirou looked and saw a bit of blood on her fingers as the girl bit her lip.
Rin walked with heavy steps, took something out of her pocket, and threw it at Archer.
The man took it without any problems; looking at what his master had thrown left him a bit confused.
"Money... and a shopping list?" The archer looked at Rin again.
"Come on, do something useful and buy groceries..." Archer saw Rin's cut finger; it was a deep cut, but the girl seemed not to care.
"Rin, your finger..." Tohsaka seemed unfazed as drops of blood fell to the floor.
"I'm fine, we need groceries; don't be lazy!" Ah, it seemed that Rin wasn't giving me a choice; better follow what she's saying...
The Archer looked at the only command seal on the girl's hand.
"Alright, I'll buy the groceries." The man put the shopping list and the money in his pocket.
Rider stood up with Archer, making the man look at the girl in doubt.
"I'll go with you; I need to stretch my legs." Medusa smiled as she adjusted her glasses.
!
"I'm going too!" Artoria practically shouted; the sword servant didn't like the woman's attitude...
Archer looked at the two women with a scowl and clicked his tongue.
"Do whatever you want..." The man started to leave the room with slow steps; Artoria looked at Medusa with narrowed eyes, the lavender-haired woman licked her lips while looking at the man with Artoria, and then she started following the man.
Artoria followed shortly after.
Rin clenched her fist as the blood dripped onto the floor.
"Sister, your hand..." Sakura approached with a first aid kit.
Rin sighed and let Sakura tend to the wound.
"I don't know what to do anymore... no matter what I try, it seems like... it seems like he doesn't want help... doesn't want to be saved..." Rin said, looking at the blood that fell to the ground.
Shirou just looked at the food he was preparing and then closed his eyes slowly.
Even though Shirou and Archer were different people... they were still the same person.
I don't think you can, Tohsaka...
Grand Order
-Goodbye-
"Thank you for the purchase, come back anytime~~" A blue-haired man with blood-red eyes smiled at the woman as he handed over a bag with a fish.
The woman took the bag and left the place with a blush on her face.
The blue-haired man counted the money in his hand with a smile on his face, but the sound of someone stopping in front of him caught his attention.
"Welcome, how can I help you..." The blue-haired man stopped speaking when he noticed who was in front of him.
"Oh, I didn't expect to see you here... at least not until next year, Archer." Cu Chulainn showed a smile full of fangs to the man in front of him.
"I see you're not alone this time, quite unusual for you." Cu Chulainn made a funny expression seeing that the antisocial man was accompanied by two women.
"It's not like I had a choice this time..." the nameless man rubbed the tip of his nose.
But it seemed that the man's companions ignored his words.
"Eh, I didn't know you worked here, Lancer. Shouldn't you be getting ready for the New Year?" Saber asked while observing the varieties of fish with curiosity; in life, Artoria had never seen so many different fish.
"I'm just working to keep myself busy until it's time for the fireworks; that's the advantage of being your own boss." Cu Chulainn closed his eyes and tapped his chest proudly.
"Hm, an entrepreneur. I'm surprised, Lancer. Archer said you work with him at another job." Medusa joined Artoria's side while observing the menu... well, the menu that could be prepared.
"Oh, it's just an extra job; the advantage of being a servant and not needing to sleep is quite useful. I noticed that with the end of the Holy Grail War, I have a lot of extra time." The lance-wielding servant put his hand on the chin and looked up with closed eyes while thinking.
"Now that you mention it, I always see you in different jobs... don't tell me you're abusing your speed to work in different places and have more than one job?" Cu Chulainn looked at Artoria and showed a smile; Medusa snorted at the man's attitude. Rider could use the same strategy, but the woman enjoyed some time for reading, so she didn't mind losing a bit of money for it.
"Now I'm curious, what brings you here, Archer? I remember seeing the little lady dragging you to the boy's house." Artoria stopped looking at the fish and moved her head to look at the Archer.
"Little lady?" Artoria thought aloud.
Archer handed a list to Cu Chulainn, who took the paper and looked at the content.
"A shopping list?" Cu Chulainn looked at the paper and smiled, making the Archer raise an eyebrow.
"Seems like your master is making a servant out of you again." Lancer smiled as he handed the shopping list to the man.
Archer just clicked his tongue at the man's comment.
Cu Chulainn brought out a large salmon and began to cut it with precision, putting it in a container with ice and then placing it in a bag.
"Here it is! Come back anytime." The lance-wielding servant smiled at Archer as he handed over the bag.
Archer took the bag and handed over the money; the lance-wielder counted and returned the change, but when Archer took the money, he noticed something strange.
"You gave more than necessary, Lancer..." Archer looked at Cu Chulainn, who handed over the wrong amount.
"Let's say I'm running a promotion since I'm going to eat the fish you're taking." Archer raised an eyebrow at what the spearman said, but after a few seconds, tArcher widened his eyes in realization.
"Rin invited you..." Medusa and Artoria saw the expression of complete disgust on the archer's face.
"Correct! So why not give a discount? Besides, the boy's food is delicious." Cu Chulainn licked his lips, imagining the food the boy would prepare.
"Sure, with luck like mine, I should have expected..." Archer whispered, but Medusa and Artoria heard the man complaining.
Archer started walking grumbling; Medusa approached and walked to the man's side.
"Thank you for your services, Lancer." Artoria nodded and ran to catch up with Archer and Rider.
Cu Chulainn watched the group leaving, and a smile appeared on the man's face.
"Well... it's not my business," the blue-haired man said as he removed the glove and cleaned his hand with water.
"Are you finishing your day already, Lancer-san?" Cu Chulainn raised his head, and the person he saw made the man's mouth fall open; a smile appeared on the man's face.
"I can always make an exception for you, Bazett-chan~"
-Goodbye-
The group of Servants walked through the cold streets of Fuyuki City, and it was already getting dark when they finished buying the ingredients.
The white-haired man walked a little ahead of the two women who followed him, watching his back.
Artoria observed the man's back as she walked in the chilly night of Fuyuki, but something didn't seem right.
"Archer..." The man didn't respond; he just stopped and turned his face to see who called his name.
Medusa stopped too and looked at Artoria, who had a strange expression on her face.
"There's something wrong, isn't there? You've been acting strangely lately, as if you're disconnected from reality..." Artoria looked at the ground with concern, and Medusa glanced at Archer out of the corner of her eye.
"Now that Saber mentioned it, I've also noticed that you've been acting strange... more like a puppet in your actions than a man..." Medusa put her hand on the chin as she spoke and looked at the man.
The man turned his head and watched the sun set.
"I... am being summoned." The Archer saw the sun disappearing on the horizon, leaving only the moonlight to illuminate the area.
Medusa's eyes widened in surprise, while Artoria dropped the bag with supplies. But the Archer, in the blink of an eye, was in front of Artoria, picking up the purchases.
"How... Does Rin know about this?!" Archer handed the bag gently to the blonde woman, and the man's gaze always seemed to be staring at the ground, never meeting Artoria's eyes.
"Yes... she knows. Recently, Rin has been using Command Seals to try to extend my time, but... Alaya is too strong, and the Command Seals are running out. I don't have much time..." Artoria blinked in surprise, and Medusa stood still with wide eyes.
"So... that's the reason Rin brought you to celebrate Christmas with us..." Artoria didn't look at the man's back but at the bag of groceries with sadness.
Artoria knew that the fact that Archer was a Counter Guardian meant that the man was summoned much more frequently than normal Servants. Maybe not for Holy Grail Wars, but to prevent humanity from destroying itself.
Was that why Archer acted so grumpy? Because the man knew that this second chance wouldn't last long?
Artoria's mood deteriorated significantly upon learning this information.
Unlike Heroic Spirits, Counter Guardians remembered each summoning. Archer could have been summoned thousands of times by Alaya.
And in Archer's case, instead of remembering all the information from his summonings, the man sacrificed old memories to make room for new ones. It was impossible to keep so much information in his head with the absurd number of summonings.
What worried Artoria was the fact that if Archer continued like this, the man would end up becoming a machine without knowing who he is and with only one function.
Kill.
Repeat.
Kill…
Artoria looked at the man who had once been Emiya Shirou and noticed the expression on his face.
The Archer knew full well the situation he was in, and the man accepted what was going to happen.
One day, the man who was once Emiya Shirou would disappear...
One day, all that would remain would be a puppet in service to humanity.
Without personality.
Without choice.
Without will.
Artoria opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
An uncomfortable silence lingered in the room, and no one could speak, except for one person.
"Hehe... HahahaHahahahahahahaha... this is amazing. Don't tell me the mighty Archer is afraid to go back to work, and that's why you're acting like this? It's just... pathetic." Artoria turned her head and looked at Medusa, eyes wide with surprise.
"Rider! You..." Artoria gritou com os dentes cerrados, quase perdendo a paciência com a deusa, mas Archer respondeu.
"You... don't know how it is... you don't know..." Archer replied, looking at the ground. Artoria noticed that Archer clenched his fist to the point of bleeding.
Blood dripped into the floor due to the force the man used on the palm of his hand.
"Hmm, if I have a good memory of what your master told us... you chose all of this. I didn't expect you, of all people to be so... cowardly," Archer's eyes widened at Medusa's words.
The man quickly grabbed Rider's throat and lifted her as if her body had no weight at all.
"Shut up... SHUT UP... SHUT THE DAMN MOUTH!" Archer squeezed the woman's throat tightly, and if she were an ordinary human, the Gorgon's neck would have snapped.
"ARCHER, STOP!" Artoria shouted, trying to intervene and stop the man from strangling Medusa, but...
?!
What kind of strength is this?
Artoria's strength rating was higher than Archer's, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't prevent the man from strangling the woman with pink hair.
For some reason, something caught Artoria's attention when she looked at Rider's face.
?!
Is she smiling?
"So, this is your plan? Crying in a dark place while waiting to be called? What a waste." Archer's hand trembled with what Medusa said.
"WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO?!" Archer gritted his teeth in anger, a rage he hadn't felt in a long time.
Medusa smiled even more, unconcerned about her position.
"How about starting to live your life?" Upon hearing Medusa's words, Archer released the woman in surprise.
Artoria looked at Medusa, who was rubbing her throat in relief. Archer was in shock at what he had heard.
"What... Do you mean by that?" The man asked Medusa confused , who just looked at him and smiled while touching his cheek.
Artoria blinked as she observed.
"Do I need to spell it out for you, Archer? Forget the future that hasn't happened yet and live in the present, live in the now, live the life you have now, even if it's temporary." Medusa caressed the man's cheek, still wearing a gentle smile.
"I know very well what it's like to be a monster, Archer, and I highly doubt that the things I've done make me deserve a second chance. In fact, I doubt that any servant here deserves a second chance..." Medusa glanced at Artoria, who shrank at the comment.
The woman who had once been the King of Britain had also made bad choices in life.
"However, I won't complain about the chance given to me, and I think you'd better do the same... all of us." Archer stood still, listening to Gorgon's words.
A half-smile appeared on the man's face as he looked at Medusa.
Archer gently removed Rider's hand from his cheek and gestured to take Artoria's groceries, who blinked in surprise and handed them to him.
Medusa and Artoria looked at each other as they watched Archer move away. The man stopped and looked back at the two women accompanying him.
"Come on, what are you waiting for? I want to get there early to cook a bit for the New Year's dinner." Artoria and Medusa smiled and ran to catch up with Archer.
The servants walked in comfortable silence until Artoria opened her mouth to speak.
"Wait, Archer. What are you going to cook?" Archer and Medusa looked at Artoria, who was practically drooling.
The man resisted the urge to smile and replied to Saber.
"It's a surprise." It wasn't the answer Artoria expected.
"Let's go." Artoria and Medusa stopped when they noticed something beautiful... Archer was smiling.
...
Rin blinked in surprise when she heard Archer's words.
"Move aside, kid. I'm going to cook." Even Shirou was surprised by the man's attitude, to the point that Shirou didn't mind when Archer practically pushed him out of the kitchen.
Shirou looked at Sakura, who had her hands together and a smile on her face, seeing that Archer's mood had improved considerably.
"Well, the kitchen is all yours." Shirou took off the apron and left the kitchen. It seemed that Emiya Shirou's words had more meaning than it seemed.
Indeed, the kitchen was his... the kitchen belonged to Emiya Shirou...
The kitchen of this house was mine— thought Archer with a smile on his face.
Rin looked at Artoria and Medusa with doubt.
"I don't know what you did to get Archer like this, but... thank you." Artoria and Medusa just smiled as they watched Archer's back.
Shirou sat down while watching his future self cook.
For a moment, Archer was happy, at least for this short period, Archer was at peace.
…
The sound of someone opening the door caught everyone's attention, and they looked curiously.
"I brought the drinks!" Cu Chulainn barged in with various alcoholic beverages.
"And I brought more drinks!" Taiga was standing next to Lancer with champagne in hand.
The sound of something breaking caught Shirou's attention. Looking at the red-haired boy, he saw that Archer had squeezed the knife so hard that it broke in two.
I had forgotten that he would come... — Archer thought as his mood went from 0 to 100 in 1 second.
"Lancer, you can't enter someone else's house like this," everyone looked and saw an embarrassed Bazett reprimanding the man.
"Come on, you don't have to act like that~~~" Cu Chulainn put his arm around the woman's waist, making her blush.
Everyone blinked at the unexpected turn of events.
A loud crash drew attention in the room. A few seconds later, an Illyasviel entered with a smile on her face, and a Berserker holding Illya's maids on his shoulders, barely fitting through the door.
Everyone blinked at the situation.
Archer's head hit something, and when everyone looked, the man was banging his head on a cabinet above the kitchen sink.
Perhaps this was a mistake...
-Goodbye-
Shirou looked at his servant in front of him, who was holding some bags in front of the house.
"Saber, are you sure about this?" Shirou asked, concerned for his servant. The boy feared that Artoria wouldn't adapt to modern society without his help or Rin's or Sakura's.
Artoria smiled at her master and simply placed the suitcases on the ground as she approached him.
"I am absolutely sure, Shirou. Thank you for everything, but now I will live my own life... Well, we will, even though we don't know how it will be, we have time to find out," Artoria hugged her master, who was initially surprised but returned the girl's embrace.
A few seconds passed, and the two separated with a smile.
"If Archer makes you sad or makes you cry, tell me, and I will come immediately, understand?" Shirou said incredibly seriously. Artoria, upon hearing this, just smiled.
"I'll be in good hands, after all, they are your hands too, aren't they?" Artoria grabbed her suitcases and gave a radiant smile to Shirou as she disappeared in a burst of speed, leaving the boy alone.
"Take care of Rin and Sakura, understood?" Artoria's last words were whispers to the wind that made Shirou smile.
"I will, I will, Saber..." Shirou said as he looked at the smoke left by his servant.
...
Upon opening his eyes, all that was visible in the darkness of the room was the white ceiling. It had been a while since Archer had agreed to the proposal, a very simple one.
— Why don't we live our lives together?
The man smiled as he remembered the proposal.
"It seems like I've softened over time; well, I'll enjoy it a bit more," Archer pulled the sheets to cover his body and closed his eyes for a few seconds, but it didn't last long.
The man's sheets were pulled by someone. Lifting his head slightly, Archer saw Medusa with a smile on her face and an outfit a bit... revealing, to say the least.
The Virgin Killer.
Or that's how Medusa called it, in reality, it was just a big sweater with an opening in the back and a little in the front and nothing more.
Which was ironic, given that Archer was not a virgin. But when the man questioned the choice of the name, Rider responded...
—You got it wrong; it's not you... it's me.
"What?" Despite Archer's brusque response, there was a smile on the man's face.
Medusa smiled and placed her hand on her hip.
"With Saber on the way, do you plan to lie in bed all day?" Archer sat on the bed while yawning; the man's hair was completely disheveled.
He was only wearing black pants, which didn't go unnoticed by Medusa, who licked her lips.
The goddess had set a condition for everyone to share a house.
The minimum amount of clothing possible.
The plan of Medusa was for her and the Archer to be together, but it seemed that Artoria was very insistent about liking the man and that she wouldn't let go. So, the only choice was for all of them to live together.
And there was a benefit that it was cheaper to buy a house by splitting the cost three ways.
Even though they were living together now, Medusa and Artoria didn't get along very well, so they decided to make an agreement to tolerate each other and maintain a agreement.
"And you, are you going to keep wearing that all the time?" The Archer walked over to the woman.
Medusa put her finger on her chin while she thought and smiled at the man.
Medusa turned, showing her back to the man, revealing a clear view of the goddess's plump buttocks.
Rider put both hands under her butt while 'lifting' to give the man a better view.
"I don't know… since you don't like to eat, someone has to encourage you to eat something, don't you think~~" Medusa looked back at Archer with a smile on her face, a smile full of lust.
The Archer just smiled at the woman's attitude, wondering if this side of her was because of her Gorgon part.
"Ah~~" a moan escaped Medusa's mouth when she felt the man slap her butt.
"In my opinion, you're just thirsty," the Archer smiled even more at the woman's comment.
The atmosphere in the room became very… different… much more comfortable, but…
Ping
Ping
The sound of the doorbell ringing caught the attention of the two servants.
Medusa and the Archer looked at each other.
"I'll answer it~" before the Archer could say anything, Medusa went towards the door to answer it.
The man blinked, wondering what Medusa was doing.
—Did she just answer the door practically naked?
All the Archer heard afterward was an indignant scream coming from the front door of the house. A few seconds later, Artoria appeared, throwing her suitcases on the living room floor and began undressing as she approached the Archer.
"Archer, it's not fair!" Artoria was taking off her clothes while jumping on the man, and Medusa just sighed when she saw Artoria's things scattered on the living room floor.
The man huffed at the situation he found himself in, but he had a smirk on his face.
There was something that caught Archer's attention. Lately, the man felt a rotten presence in Fuyuki… macabre, as if it were pure evil… and it came from Emiya's house.
WhenArcher visited the place, he noticed that something was wrong… wrong with the boy, but he never said anything. The man just ignored it.
—Maybe someone other than me can deal with this.
"Archer?" The man looked at Artoria with her arms around his neck and completely naked.
…
The Archer held the throat of a corrupted Saber with hatred in his eyes, but the woman just smiled. In the corner of his eye, the Archer saw Medusa, who had also been corrupted, wearing a hood and carrying the weapon that was used to kill her in life.
Medusa just smiled as she watched the situation and Fuyuki in flames.
The moment the Archer got distracted, mud fell on him and Saber. The moment the Archer tried to escape, Artoria lunged forward and connected her lips with his.
…
"Archer?" The man blinked again when he returned to reality.
"It's nothing… let's put away your things," the man said as he held Artoria in a bridal-style embrace.
The man smiled, savoring the moment of happiness he had, even if it wouldn't last.
-A-
Hello! I've decided to at least write something and not leave the story as it is. I think the correct term for this story is a prologue.
I've decided to reboot the story; there were many things I didn't like in the main story, and I intend to make changes. I've been writing other stories (a still am) to improve my writing and storytelling for when I rewrite this one.
...
I still expect some grammar errors and silly things, mainly because the rules of my first language conflict with English, and most of the time, I'm writing on my phone during breaks at college. But I think I'm improving. As I mentioned, I've still made some silly mistakes, but that's part of the evolution.
If you're interested in other stories like RWBY, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Honkai Impact 3rd, you can check out those stories while waiting for the Grand Order reboot. Now that I think about it, the OC I wrote in those stories has a personality similar to Archer; it must be a consequence of writing Grand Order. I'll try to change it up a bit if I can.
Well, I'll see you in the reboot. Thanks to everyone who read this story.
Until next time.
