"He's awake." Corda reported. Alexander and Dr. Weir returned to the medical facility.

"That ship of yours could have killed me!" McKay ranted.

"Only if you had a heart condition, which my scan of you the first day I was here showed you don't have." Alexander retorted. "Why were you trying to access my ship, McKay?"

"I'm an expert on Ancient technology and the Chief Scientist here. That ship is Ancient technology, therefore I need to study it."

"The ship is already being studied by people authorized to study it. Daniel Osbourne and Johnathan Levinson of the Altimah Project. You do not have the clearance to study it. Let alone, sneak on to it."

"Because you wouldn't let me!"

"Do you know what it would have taken for you be allowed on board, McKay? Politely asking for a tour. You won't be allowed to study the Altimah, but if you'd asked, we would have given you a tour."

"Well, how was I supposed to know that?!"

"Do you know how many people have asked for a tour of the Altimah since we got here? Several dozen. Everyone of them asked politely. You never learned how, because you never wanted to learn how. And now you've lost your chance. I told you what would happen if you tried to access it without permission, just like I told you, Johnathan was checking the computer. You chose not to listen. You brought this on yourself. I've told you before, curb the attitude. If you want to be allowed to continue to be part of the planning of the expedition and actually going on the expedition, then your attitude will have to change, because it won't be tolerated anymore."

"You can't threaten my place on the expedition. They need me, I'm a genius."

"You are a genius and no we don't need you. There are others who can be invited along."

"Mr. Harris..."

"I told you, Dr. Weir, it's Captain, which is the equivalent of a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. I am giving you the respect of addressing you as Dr., please do me the courtesy of doing the same in return."

"Captain Harris, why are you threatening his position?"

"You haven't figure it out yet, have you, Dr. Weir? You were there when General O'Neill told us that the President wants Corda and I to go with. Did it never occur to you to wonder what our positions would be?"

"What would your positions be?"

"Ranking military officers of the expedition. And as the only two members with any knowledge, even if it is 10,000 years out of date, we will have final say on who goes along. By the way, that includes you."

He and Corda left them once again gaping at them as they headed out to find Johnathan.

"Hey, Jonno." Alexander greeted his little friend. "I hope McKay hasn't been bothering you."

"No, he's been leaving me alone. I'm glad you and Buffy are okay, Corda. I was worried, but Oz called as soon as he heard Alexander freeing you two."

"I knew he would. He knows what it's like to feel helpless because you can't watch your friends backs. Him because of his full moon nights and you because you were working. How'd the system check go?"

"Good. There were some gaps where data seems to have been lost or possibly erased, I'm not sure. I set a mining program to see if it could find anything. Sometimes there are shadows of information still there."

"Good, we found another Alteran descendant, Dr. Carson Beckett. He in the medical facility. The scanners and healing pod in there can be reprogrammed so non Alteran can use them. If you could make that a priority, I'd appreciate it."

"No problem, it should go fairly quickly. I've already done it on the Altimah after all."

"True. Also, the President has named the Altimah Project defense contractors, which means we can finally get a production plant going. Mayor Jacobson is willing to sell us the Calax plant for the back taxes. We'll have to modernize it, but what do you say? Would it be worth it?"

"Unless we want to move to Silicone Valley, which none of us do, then yes, it is."

"Then I'll go ahead and arrange to transfer the money for it." Corda said. "In the meantime, McKay tried to access the Altimah without permission and got a shock."

"That doesn't surprise me. He really is brilliant, but really unlikeable."

"He hit on Corda in front of me and then tried to access my ship without permission. Unlikeable is being polite. He should take a cue from the guards, they noticed she's beautiful but behaved themselves and they've politely asked for a tour."

"Oh and there's a few other things I need to fill you in on." Alexander finished bringing Johnathan up to date on the tear near the moon and everything else.

"Wow, I can't wait to see Oz's reaction."

"Neither can we. It's going to be fun."
