It was a sunny day in May when Anthony returned.

"Anthony!" Hermione squealed and ran up to him.

Harry saw her from across the hall, and got up from the Slytherin table to join her. Draco followed him.

"Did you see who gave you the necklace?" Harry asked once greetings and pleasantries were out of the way.

An apologetic expression mounted Anthony's face as he responded "I did not," to Harry's disappointment.

"Do you think it was one of the students?" Harry resumed his interrogation, and then turned around to scan the Great Hall for any suspicious behavior or reaction to Anthony's return.

"Stop badgering him, Harry!" Hermione said, sternly.

Other than Ron, who seemed disappointed for reasons obvious to Harry, none of the students seemed too affected by Anthony's presence.

"Hmm that's weird," Harry murmured to himself, and then turned to Draco, but Draco was already gone. "Draco?"

He looked back to the Slytherin table, but he wasn't there, and his plate was gone too. He must've left the Great Hall. As Harry wondered were Draco went, Hedwig came flying across the hall towards him. Harry retrieved the letter, gave Hedwig a treat, and sent her flying back to the owlery.

5pm. Entrance Hall. Bring your invisibility cloak.

Harry recognized professor Dumbledore's handwriting. He has promised him to take him along the next time he goes horcrux hunting, and it seems tonight is the night.

To say Harry was excited is an understatement. He was shaking with anticipation. When it was time, Harry headed to the Slytherin dorms to retrieve his cloak. As he looked for it in his trunk.

"Harry," a familiar voice came from behind him. Harry stood up, and turned around. It was Draco.

"Hey," Harry said.

"Are you going with Dumbledore?" Draco asked.

"Yes."

Draco pushed his hand into his pocket, and pulled something out. He walked up to Harry, and placed it in his palm.

"I want you to take this."

"What is-" Harry started asking, but he just trailed as he looked into the palm of his hand to see the vial of Felix Felicis. The vial wasn't full, but most of the potion was still there.

Harry looked up to Draco to find him looking back at him, furrowed brows and worried expressions.

"You shouldn't worry about me, I'll be with Dumbledore-" Harry started saying, but Draco cut him off.

"Please," Draco insisted, "just take it."

"Okay." Harry said, and as soon he uttered the word, Draco's lips pressed against his. Harry gave into it. When Draco pulled away, they both breathed in.

"I love you." Draco said.

"I love you too." Harry said.

"Please stay safe." Draco said, worried.

Harry did not understand Draco's worrying, but he assured him: "I will. Promise."

Draco pulled him in for a tight hug, and then just turned around and walked away.

Harry then found his invisibility cloak, and headed to the Entrance Hall.

"I take you with me on one condition," Dumbledore starts, "that you obey any command I might give you at once and without question."

"Of course!"

"Be sure to understand me, Harry. I mean that you must follow even such orders as 'run,' 'hide,' or 'go back.' Do I have your word?"

"I — yes, of course."

"If I tell you to hide, you will do so?"

"Yes."

"If I tell you to flee, you will obey?"

"Yes."

"If I tell you to leave me and save yourself, you will do as I tell

you?

"I —"

Maybe Draco wasn't being dramatic. Maybe Harry failed to realize the potential danger of his mission.

"Harry?"

"Yes, sir."

"Very good, then." Dumbledore said, "shall we?"
