Rampaging Oozaru
The Great Oozaru, the great ape which was once Goku broke through the glass ceiling as it roared up to the heavens immediately waking up Pilaf and his minions who complain about the noise. The Anbu watched the situation unfold from a distance, Fox-1 said coldly, "So it has happened again." Cat added, "This is the worst-case scenario." Goku's other friends try their best to avoid falling debris as the Oozaru goes on a rampage. Yamcha yells out at Goku through frantic speech, "O-o-okay you smashed the r-roof we can escape!" He then hollered, "Y-you can change back now! Y-you can change back!" Despite repeating himself, Goku didn't react in the slightest.
The Oozaru punched his way through part of the castle throwing even more debris everywhere. Sasuke, speaking in a louder tone said, "I don't think he can understand us!" Naruto then said, "He's lost all control of himself, he could step on us, and he probably wouldn't even know he did it!" The Oozaru then cracked open the roof of Pilaf and his minion's bedroom with his bare hands giving them the scare of their lives. They immediately run away shouting, "W-what is that-!" Both the Pilaf gang and Team 7 and their allies ran from the beast. The Pilaf gang ran to their hangar while Yamcha and Team 7 escaped the castle through the damaged walls. Yamcha rushes over the broken castle wall carrying Bulma with his good arm surprising her. Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto follow close by with Naruto carrying Oolong, Puar follows after them. The Pilaf gang emerge from the castle in an airplane much smaller than the one they brought team 7 in.
The plane circled the beast, Pilaf asked, "Where did that thing come from?" Shu then said, "It's smashing up your castle emperor!" Pilaf smacked Shu upside his head and said, "Don't you think I realize that?" Shu immediately apologized after which Pilaf pulled out a remote controller and said, "I don't care what this thing thinks it is, it's trashing my castle. Breaker will set it straight!" He then pressed the button activating Breaker which jumped from out of what's left of the castle immediately ready to take on the Oozaru.
Team 7 along with Goku's friends stop and watch the fight. It immediately entered Thruster Mode and charged the Oozaru; however, its grappling arm and its mace arms couldn't even put a dent in the beast's hide. The Oozaru immediately grabbed the Breaker and began to crush it with both of its hands. "You'd think with how big he got he would have lost some speed." Yamcha spoke in an astonished tone of voice. Sasuke mustered what little Chakra he had and activated his Sharingan. The power Sasuke saw emanating from it was five times the size of Goku's power prior to his fight with Breaker. "Whatever this transformation is, it's made him strong enough to beat the same robot that we couldn't take on all at once." Sasuke's voice was shaky, and he began to wonder how Goku attained such incredible power. Breaker couldn't move an inch and despite the amount of electricity that was crawling up the beast's arm Breaker was slowly and thoroughly crushed until it began to spark and finally explode. Pilaf jaw dropped, he could hardly believe what he was watching as the Oozaru tossed the scrapped Breaker to the side and then grabbed a piece of Pilaf's castle.
Pilaf knowing when it was time to retreat attempts to leave the area however the Oozaru sees their attempted escape and chucks a large piece of Pilaf's castle at the plane forcing it to the ground. That same piece of debris nearly hits Team 7 and the rest. Yamcha through panting breath says, "Th-that was too close!" Which is when someone suddenly says in a weak voice, "Hey-hey!" Everyone turned around to see Bulma trapped under the debris that was just thrown their way. Sakura, Yamcha and Naruto attempted to lift the debris, but it proved too heavy, Yamcha said through a strained voice, "D-damn it, It's too heavy!" Sakura got out a Kunai and said while trying to chip away at the piece of castles above Bulma's body, "We've got to do something!"
They suddenly heard the roars of the Oozaru getting closer and closer. Sasuke suddenly yelled, "Goku-he's coming this way!" Naruto stood up and produced multiple Shadow Clones who helped lift the piece of concrete high enough for Yamcha and Sakura to pull Bulma out. Right after this Naruto joined Sasuke's side as they prepared to take the Oozaru on being the only ones lacking any injuries. The beast nearly reached them when suddenly its movements grinded to a halt. The Oozaru began to struggle against an invisible force that seemed to keep it contained. This is when Sasuke took a closer look and realized something, he yelled out, "Steel thread, Goku is being restrained by steel thread!"
Suddenly the two Anbu in the shadows come from out of nowhere and using the swords on their backs chop the beast's massive tail off in one dual pincer strike. Suddenly the monster began to roar out before shrinking and shedding all of its hair until it finished turning back into Goku who was now fast asleep and naked. Upon seeing this everyone realized what had happened while Sasuke looked at the Anbu in disbelief, he thought to himself, "Anbu… why are there a pair of Anbu in the middle of the desert?" Yamcha looked at the pair and asked Sasuke, "Hey who are those two?" Sasuke immediately answered, "They're Anbu Black Ops Shinobi, their elite Shinobi of the Leaf." Naruto chimed in saying, "Well it's lucky that they showed up when they did." Sasuke thought to himself, "I doubt it's luck, there's no way we would coincidentally run into the Anbu in West territory." Naruto and Sasuke approach Goku while Sakura and Yamcha begin treating Bulma's injured leg.
With the Anbu, Cat spoke after sheathing his blade, "That was fortunate, if it wasn't so distracted it would have noticed the thread sooner." Fox then said, "We'll have to contact the Hokage about this incident." Cat sighed and said, "Right but at least he still didn't see us. That will be one headache taken care of." Right when things were about to calm down a third figure entered the scene wielding a sword. It was Fox-2 charging toward the unconscious Goku aiming his sword at him. Naruto and Sasuke quickly dashed toward him hoping to intercept the blade. Cat was part way there already when suddenly his charge was halted when someone put him in a strangle hold from behind while restraining his left arm.
It was Fox-1 who was giving the other traitor time to kill Goku. Cat weakly squeezed out a half sentence, "So there were two…" Fox-2 was a foot away from Goku's body, preparing to bring his sword down on Goku. Naruto and Sasuke weren't going to make it when they glimpse a streak of lightning and within the blink of an eye, Fox-2 was seemingly skewered by a bolt of lightning. His assault halted as the traitorous Anbu coughed up blood saying through struggling breath, "H-how? you shouldn't b-be here!" The man behind said, "I just finished my mission early, so I thought I'd check up on my students." Naruto yelled happily, "Kakashi Sensei!" Kakashi stood behind the dying Anbu Shinobi with his arm covered in electricity clean through his chest. This is when Fox-1 yelled out, "What!?" Which is when Cat-1's body disappeared but was replaced with a wooden dummy.
Suddenly the real Cat-1 appeared behind him and said while making hand signs, "Wood Style: Smothering Binding technique!" Suddenly wood sprouted from Cat's hand and wrapped itself all around Fox-1 tapping him in wooden subsequently removed his hand from the now dead Fox-2 and tossed him to the ground behind him. Sakura came out from behind the castle debris with Bulma and Yamcha in tow. Sakura looked at Kakashi and then smiled, rushing over with the rest of her team. They all looked at Kakashi who scratched the back of his head and said out loud, "I guess I have a lot of explaining to do." Kakashi then put his hand down and said, "But that will have to wait, I need to take this one in." He pointed his thumb toward to the restrained Anbu Shinobi.
Sasuke looked back at the apprehended Anbu shinobi and said, "The Anbu has traitors?" Kakashi waved his hand from side to side while saying, "Don't worry about it Sasuke, it's been taken care of." Kakashi then looked at Goku and said, "For now you all should wait until he wakes up and leave for Konoha with him." Naruto immediately asked, "Why…?" Kakashi immediately said, "Lord Third needs to have a brief chat with the West folk here." Sakura immediately said, "What about Pilaf and the other two, they captured me and nearly killed everyone else." Yamcha chimed in saying, "Since he's nowhere to be seen I don't think anything can be done about them now." Kakashi then said, "Once we give Lord Third the report on this mission, we can take steps to deal with them."
Meanwhile with Fox-1 and Cat, Fox-1 said while looking behind him, "So you must be Tenzo, I wasn't aware we had a traitor watching us." Cat repeated the word traitor which is when Fox-1 said, "Our mission may have failed but so will yours." Suddenly Fox-1 made a single hand sign with his right hand, sensing danger Cat suddenly leaped away from the man and threw together more hand signs and said, "Wood Style: Wood Locking Wall!" After which a massive wall of wood circled Fox-1 covering him right before his body was enveloped in a massive explosion which the wall thankfully contained. Cat-1 said out loud, "Damn it, he rigged a paper bomb trap on himself!" Kakashi spoke in a commanding tone, "Stay here!" He then rushed over to Cat who immediately said, "It's too late."
Kakashi immediately said in a grim tone, "So he was willing to die to keep us from getting intel from him." Kakashi then asked where Eagle-1 was. Cat informed him that Fox-2 left with him to get reinforcements but considered due to Fox-2's attempt on Goku's life that he might have killed him. Kakashi crossed his arms saying, "They are more organized than I thought they were… we'll have to find his body later." Cat-1 then said, "He mentioned my real name and he called me a traitor. I think I have a good idea who's behind this." Kakashi immediately said, "Then go on ahead and inform Lord Third and tell him we might be delayed by a couple days." Cat-1 then said, "What will you do?" Kakashi replied with, "I'll take this group back to Konoha. Lord Third wants to talk to the west folk about what happened during this whole adventure before deciding on what to do with them."
Cat crossed his arms and said, "They did see the kid's transformation, they will either need to be kept in the village, sworn to secrecy or…." Kakashi finished the conversation with, "Lets trust Lord Third's judgment, he isn't a ruthless man." After which Cat left for Konoha while Kakashi stayed with the rest of Team 7 and Goku and his friends. Kakashi approached the group and said, "I know some of you may be from around here or in the general west area however I'll need you all to come with me to Konoha." Yamcha gave him a serious look and said, "Is this gonna be trouble?" Kakashi waved his hands in front of him defensively saying, "Hold on now, our Hokage just wants to have a word with you about what occurred recently."
Naruto jumped in saying, "Don't worry the old man's actually a big ol' softy. Also, Goku says he knows him, it should be fine." Yamcha looked tense but after Bulma gently laid her hand on his shoulder, he let out a sigh and relaxed, deciding to trust Kakashi's words. Hours later the sun began to rise, and a conversation started pertaining to Goku. Bulma looked down at the unconscious boy and said, "Guess we shouldn't tell him that he's the monster that killed his grandpa." Sasuke wanted to say something but couldn't bring himself to say it. "I can't imagine it… killing your own grandfather and just not knowing he did it." Sasuke's mind flashed to an image of his brother, his crimson red eyes shining in the night sky.
A question popped into his head, "Why did he stop looking?" Sasuke realized he never got the chance to question Goku on why he stopped seeking the monster, more specifically why he gave up on finding it. Even with the information that Goku was the culprit, Sasuke can't imagine letting something this personal go. He keeps his conflicted mental state to himself and just fades into the background, mulling over the question. Naruto couldn't help but see himself in Goku after seeing his transformation. Naruto thought to himself, "Goku has a literal monster inside him, but he isn't even aware of it. Just like…" Naruto couldn't help but remember how he used to be. Back during his years at the academy, he was hated by the whole village over a monster he wasn't aware of, which was sealed inside of him.
Some people feared that the Fox Spirit, the Nine Tails as it was called, might somehow escape, most people thought he was the same as the fox, or at least that's how they treated him, how they looked at him, as if he was the Fox. Goku is technically under the same situation only he wasn't aware people were watching him, fearing him. Naruto was perfectly aware of the obvious difference between their situations but couldn't help but compare Goku to how he used to be. Naruto wanted to do something for Goku, feeling he needed to do something for him, even if Goku wasn't as similar to him as Naruto was imagining he was. So, he turned to Kakashi and asked, "Hey Kakashi Sensei, do you think we all could stop at Ichiraku's Ramen before meeting the old man?" Sakura immediately said out of surprise, "You're hungry?" She paused, realizing this wasn't such an odd suggestion. " I guess you did expend a lot of Chakra today." Kakashi was uncertain about it since Lord Third will be expecting them until he realizes something.
He looks at Goku and thinks to himself, "I see…" He then turned to Naruto and said, "Sure we could all use something to eat after such a hectic mission." After this Goku begins to wake up having no memory of what happened after looking at the moon and not knowing why his clothes are gone. He says, "Huh, where's my clothes?" Sakura looks away while everyone debates who will give Goku some clothes, Naruto volunteers his pajamas which Goku accepts. Goku immediately says, "Thanks." They are a little tight, but they fit. This is when Goku sees Kakashi and asks, "Who're you mister?" Kakashi immediately answers, "I'm Kakashi Hatake, I'm the teacher of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura."
Goku looked at him in awe and said, "So you're the guy who made em' so strong, I'd like to fight you some time!" Goku thrusted his balled-up fists in front of him in a posture that screamed excitement. Kakashi couldn't help but compare him to Naruto given how excitable he can get. Kakashi scratched the back of his head nervously at the compliment. Goku reminded him of a guy he knew who was keen on challenging him often. Naruto jumped in front of Goku frantically saying, "You don't want that, he's a freak in battle." Kakashi flinched on the word "freak". Sasuke then added with seriousness in his voice, "He'll bury you up to your head if you're not careful." Kakashi flinched again, disliking his students' unflattering opinion of his fighting capabilities. He thought to himself, "Hey now, I was teaching you two a lesson." Goku just smiled and said, "Now I really want to fight him!" Kakashi scratched the back of his head thinking, "Now he really reminds me of Guy." Goku took a step forward only for him to lose his balance and fall over.
Naruto helped him up by saying, "You alright?" Goku said with a shaky voice, "Y-yeah I just lost my balance fr' some reason." Yamcha let out a chuckle and said, "Funny what happens when you don't have a tail." Goku then reached for his rear and realized it was indeed missing. Goku yelled out "Wow, where'd it go?" After a moment of searching around he settled down, he put his arms behind his head and said, "Oh well." Everyone took a step back in surprise at how easily he adjusted to having no tail. Kakashi thought to himself, "It's funny, this isn't the first time he's lost his tail to the Anbu and yet he reacts the same every time."
Kakashi then said, "Hey Goku, Lord Third, I mean Hiruzen wanted to have you over at the village for a day or two before your friends left." Goku looked over to Bulma, Yamcha and the others he met along the way and said, "Oh you're leaving so soon?" Bulma then said, "Yeah with the Dragon Balls gone I've gotta get back home, I've missed a lot of school… not that I care." Goku then felt his back and remembered, "Hey wait, where's my power pole?" Kakashi immediately handed it to him saying, "I grabbed it while you were asleep." Soon after they left for Konoha, forced to go on foot thanks to lacking any Dino-caps, four days passed on their trek to the Village Hidden in the Leaves.
