Mid-season six, direct reference to "Angela and Tony Get Divorced" in season seven.
Angela checked her list again, making certain she had everything for their trip to South Carolina. Underwear? Check. Hairbrush? Check. Toothbrush? Check. Dress for the formal dinner after the game? She held up her garment bag with her other hand. Check.
"Tony, I'm all packed," she said as he came racing into the living room. Her heart swelled at how excited he was to play in another game with the Cardinals, even if it was an old timer game. "Are you certain you have everything you need?"
She checked her list for him. "Do you have your toothbrush?"
He grinned. "Of course."
"And a suit for the formal dinner?" A nod and a grin.
Leaning over her shoulder, he said, "And I've got underwear, too." The heat between them increased as he chuckled. Angela felt her face turn red.
"Ang," Tony said more seriously. "We're going to be fine. Especially if the Cards' win this time."
She grinned back at him.
After they were already on the plane, Angela remembered another list. "You made the reservations for two hotel rooms, right?"
The horrified expression on his face said it all.
"Tony!"
"I'm sorry, Angela. I don't know how I could have forgotten that."
"So, help me, if we don't have a place to sleep," Angela said.
