In the dimly lit room, Pedro Manuel Garza sat on an old wooden chair, his hands nervously fidgeting with a piece of paper containing instructions left by his grandmother. The room, cluttered with artifacts from his family's past, seemed to be holding its breath, waiting for what was about to happen. The air was thick with anticipation, and Pedro could feel his heartbeat accelerating.

Lysander, the mysterious magus overseeing the Holy Grail War, entered the room, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a practiced gaze.

He nodded to Pedro, his expression unreadable, as he began to speak.

"Pedro Manuel Garza, I presume? I am Lysander Euryale. I have come to assist you in summoning your Servant for the Holy Grail War."

Pedro looked up at him, trying to hide his anxiety. "Yes, that's me. I've been preparing for this moment for quite some time, but I'm not going to lie... I'm a bit scared." His voice wavered, betraying his true feelings.

Lysander gave him a reassuring smile. "Fear is a natural response. However, remember that you are not alone in this endeavor. Your Servant will fight by your side, and together, well, I have faith you can distinguish yourself as a Master. So long as you give it your all."

Pedro took a deep breath, steeling himself for the task at hand. He then remembered that he had no catalyst to summon his Servant. "Wait, I don't have a catalyst. Is it still possible to summon a Servant without one?"

Lysander nodded. "Yes, though the result might be less predictable. Focus on your desires and what you seek in a partner for this battle. The Grail will guide the summoning process."

With that, Pedro began the summoning ritual, his voice echoing through the room as he chanted the ancient incantations. As he completed the final verse, a powerful surge of energy erupted, engulfing the room in a brilliant light.

When the light subsided, a figure stood before them. Dressed in resplendent armor reminiscent of a conquistador, the Servant surveyed the room with a piercing gaze.

Pedro could not help but be awestruck by the sheer presence of the legendary figure now in front of him. His spotless stark white plate, guilded with golden highlights and bedecked by a scarlet red cape at the back. The Servant's pointy black bbeard and flowing black hair cut a noble visage, his warm golden eyes gleaming with an adventurous wisdom that ran as deep as an unexcavated vein of gold.

The light faded, leaving Pedro in awe as he stared at the imposing figure of his newly summoned Servant. The conquistador's eyes seemed to assess the room, his gaze settling on Pedro as he took a step forward.

"I am Bernal Díaz del Castillo, summoned as Rider," he announced in a strong, confident voice. "You must be my Master. What is your name?"

Pedro hesitated for a moment before answering, "I'm Pedro Manuel Garza. It's an honor to have you by my side, Bernal."

Bernal nodded, his stern expression softening ever so slightly. "Likewise, Pedro. Together, we shall face the challenges of the Holy Grail War and emerge victorious."

As the two continued to speak, Pedro found himself fascinated by Bernal's tales of conquest and adventure. The Servant spoke passionately about his experiences, his words painting vivid images of his past in Pedro's mind. Bernal's enthusiasm was infectious, and Pedro couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the thought of fighting alongside the accomplished Spaniard of old.

However, amidst their conversation, Pedro noticed the melancholic undertones in Bernal's voice when speaking about his past. It was clear that the conquistador was haunted by the consequences of his actions, and Pedro couldn't help but feel empathy for the man.

"You know, Bernal, the past is the past. It's important to learn from it, but we cannot change what has already happened," Pedro said, hoping to offer some solace.

Bernal looked at Pedro, his eyes reflecting gratitude for the young Master's understanding. "You are wise beyond your years, Pedro. I shall do my best to uphold the values you have shared with me as we embark on this journey together."

As they continued to bond, the initial anxiety Pedro felt slowly dissipated. Despite their differences, Pedro and Bernal discovered a mutual respect for one another, solidifying their partnership. With the Holy Grail War looming, they prepared themselves for the battles to come, knowing that they could rely on each other in their quest for victory.

The time had come for Pedro and Bernal to make their way to the pre-battle meeting grounds. As they prepared to leave, Pedro felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness coursing through his veins. He knew the Holy Grail War would be a formidable challenge, but with Bernal by his side, he felt a sense of reassurance.

Pedro and Bernal stepped out into the night, the cool air enveloping them as they began their journey. The streets were quiet, a stark contrast to the intensity that would soon come as the War began. As they walked, Bernal shared his insights on strategy and combat, drawing from his vast experience.

Pedro listened attentively, taking in the valuable information his Servant provided. He realized the importance of understanding not only his own strengths and weaknesses but also those of his opponents. The knowledge Bernal shared would be vital in navigating the treacherous landscape of the Holy Grail War.

As they neared the meeting grounds, Pedro couldn't help but think about the other Masters and Servants they would soon face. Each would possess unique abilities and strategies, and Pedro understood that underestimating them could prove to be a fatal mistake.

"Stay vigilant, Pedro," Bernal warned as they approached the designated location. "We must be prepared for anything."

Pedro nodded, his determination strengthening. "I won't let my guard down, Bernal. We'll face these challenges together."

With that, they entered the pre-battle meeting area, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of the other participants. Tensions were palpable, the atmosphere heavy with anticipation. Pedro and Bernal stood side by side, ready to confront whatever obstacles lay ahead, their partnership unwavering in the face of the looming Holy Grail War.
