Pebble Test of Courage and Willpower
It has been two days since Inuyasha has transferred to Shikon High School, had his first fight at the school, and moved into the Dojo dorm with the girls and meeting the martial art masters as Inuyasha can tell they are very strong, and looking forward to beating them one day.
Apachai is seen doing some morning stretches and solo sparring as he is throwing some punches and knee kick strikes practicing his Muay Thai.
"Good morning! It's a good morning, to keep your body in fighting shape!" Apachai singed cheerfully, but off tone.
Meanwhile, Inuyasha is hiding his presence on the footdrop of the detached where the residents sleep in their own bedrooms and have big shower room, he looks at Apachai like a predator about to pounce on the prey. Waiting for the right moment to strike when the tall, tanned muscle man is most relax for his guard to drop.
"Okay, Apahaci is done with warm up. Time to move on with the fierce attacks!" Apachai said to himself as he is about to grab a water bottle.
Inuyasha's instinct screamed in his head to attack and he launches himself down toward Apachai with his eyes glued on the man and reel his right arm for his Iron Reaper Soul Stealer attack, but Apachai's own instinct kicks in and backward high kick Inuyasha's arm in the air and elbow strike him in the chest sending the half-demon boy crashing into a tree.
"Ah, good morning, Inuyasha. Another good day for morning workout!" Apahaci greeted.
"Yeah, good day…" Inuyasha groaned in pain from the chest.
"I see you're still trying to get a hit on Apachai." Kikyo giggled, walking up to him.
"Well, I could exactly take him seriously when he's all… well, looking all stupid with that face of his." Inuyasha pointed out.
"Apa. What about my face?" Apachai asked.
"Apachai may look childish at first, but I believe this past two days should have given you the idea of how strong he is on a fight." Kikyo said.
"I know, which is why I'm going to beat him with my own strength then I'll go after the other masters." Inuyasha smirked, then got pet on the head by the dorm manager.
"You can't exactly rush these things; it takes time to reach the goal you want to achieve and if you don't learn to be patient then you might miss something that could be important to you." Kikyo advised with a gentle smile.
"Apa! Does Inuyasha want to continue sparring with Apachia?" Apachai asked.
"Not right now, he needs to get ready for school today." Kikyo pointed out.
"Okay, then after school. Good luck with paper tests and try not to break your bones!" Apachai said giving him a thumb up.
"Thanks, I guess." Inuyasha sweatdropped as he gets up and make his way to the bathroom for a quick nature call.
"Patient, huh? Like I need to wait to be stronger." Inuyasha talked to himself as he enters the bathroom.
But what he didn't realize is that someone is already inside the bathroom revealing to be Renka who has just exit the shower room, the two look at each other for a moment upon realization hit them in the face. Renka is holding a towel covering most of her front except for her right breast being expose to Inuyasha's eyes as his cheeks blush and little drip of blood comes out of his nose with his eyes widen of shock, Renka herself is feeling embarrass and shock as her face turns a little red.
"Huh, morning…" Inuyasha said.
"AAAAHHH?!" Renka screamed as it can be heard from outside, along with a loud slap sound.
Everyone is seen eating breakfast together in the main building made by Kikyo and Miu enjoying each other's company and the morning meal, all except Renka with an angry expression and her eyes are close while Inuyasha groans with a red handprint on his cheek.
"Oh my, I didn't think you would be bold enough to peek at my daughter naked without even realizing." Kensei chuckled.
"Shut up, daddy! We don't want to hear that coming from an old pervert!" Renka snapped.
"Well, maybe you should've put up a sign or at least heard my footsteps coming in." Inuyasha pointed out.
"Maybe you should have used your nose to sniff that we were in the shower. Did you ever thought about that?" Renka asked angry as they press their heads against each other.
"Hey, if you guys are going to fight then do it outside." Sakaki suggested as he didn't want to be bother with his drinking.
"Is it really that much of a bother for a man seeing a woman naked?" Shigure confused.
"Of course, you should know that by now consider you're also an adult." Kagome stated.
"I guess since I'm 23." Shigure said.
"I'm kind of glad he didn't see us naked." Miu whispered to herself.
"Easy you two, you can save the fighting energy for later because Inuyasha is going to do something important today." Akisame mentioned.
"Huh, I am?" Inuyasha asked.
"Yes, you'll find out soon once we get to the school." Akisame chuckled.
"Oh yeah, since Inuyasha is the new student, he will have to go through that." Kagome realized what Akisame meant.
"I almost forgot about that." Miu remembered.
"Well, this should be interesting to watch." Renka smirked.
"Okay, would anyone tell me what the hell are you guys talking about?" Inuyasha asked, getting frustrated of this suspense.
Inuyasha didn't like how everyone except Shigure were laughing at him a bit of whatever they are talking about, he will have no choice but to see what this "thing" is at school.

Inuyasha is standing about twenty across from Akisame and the rest of the class are on the side watching that's about to happen.
"Okay, why are we having first period outside?" Inuyasha confused.
"Because it is time for your Shikon Pebble Test." Akisame revealed as the students cheer.
"Shikon Pebble Test?" Inuyasha asked.
"You see, Inuyasha, every year when we get new students to come like the freshmen on their first day here, we give them two days before putting them in this test to show how strong they are if they wish to become fighters or not and today is your test." Akisame explained pointing his finger the dog ear boy.
"Oh, so it's like another entrance exam." Inuyasha compared it to that.
"In a way, yes. And the goal for this test is to… take this pebble from my hand." Akisame showed the pebble on his left hand.
Silent took over for Inuyasha with his eyes widen of disbelief for literally five seconds before he spoke again.
"You're kidding me, right?" Inuyasha asked.
"Nope, just try taking the pebble from my hand." Akisame answered.
"Damn it, you made it sound so cool, but it got ruined right now, all for just one lousy pebble." Inuyasha scratched his head.
"Oh, so are you turning tail and run. And here I thought you wanted to become the world strongest." Akisame said in a sigh mocking tone which piss Inuyasha off.
"I'm dead serious about that!" Inuyasha charged at full speed and reach to take the pebble.
However, Akisame hold the pebble in his thumb and grab Inuyasha's hand with only two fingers as he moves aside to flip the boy forward and drop him on his back.
"What the…?" Inuyasha confused of what just happened.
"I wasn't finish explaining the rules for the test." Akisame grinned.
"Rules, I thought I was just supposed to grab the pebble?" Inuyasha snapped.
"Oh man, he looked stupid on the ground like that." Renka laughed a little.
"Are you enjoying this because of what happened this morning?" Miu asked.
"Oh, yeah!" Renka answered without shame.
"Taking the pebble from my hand isn't going to be easy as you just experience, it will be my job to keep the pebble out of your reach while you struggle to take it. The timing for the rest is until the final bell of the ring which is the end of last period, try to get the pebble by then and you will be able to the Hell-Heaven combat class." Akisame explained how the test will go.
"Okay, and what would happen if I don't get the pebble by then?" Inuyasha asked as he gets back up.
"Then you will be forbidden from ever attempting from fighter for the rest of your time here in this school and never fight again or else you'll be expelled." Akisame revealed with a strong stare.
"(The fuck…?! No fighting if I fail and if I try breaking that rule then I'm expelled, that is just intense!)" Inuyasha thought gasped.
"Looks like Inuyasha is feeling the pressure of the test now." Kagome noticed.
"Let just see how the new guy will go." One male student said.
"I bet he'll give up after the second period." Another male student smirked.
"He looks like he can last longer than that, maybe fourth period." A female student guessed.
"And now everyone is making bets on Inuyasha." Kagome sighed.
"You can't exactly blame them, it's like an entertaining show to them even though we have to go back to our classes once the test start." Renka shrugged.
"Okay old man, I'll definitely get that pebble from you even if it kills me!" Inuyasha determined as he get into his fighting stance.
"Glad to hear that. One more thing before we start, you can take as many breaks as you want within the time period, but I wouldn't recommend relaxing too much. And you don't have to worry about classes as you are excuse for this test." Akisame mentioned.
"Thanks for the tip, now here I come!" Inuyasha charged again.
Akisame use an evasion judo move to force Inuyasah to keep going forward with one hand causing the boy to almost lose balance on his footing, Inuyasha got his balance back and charges at the homeroom teacher again trying to slash the pebble away. But every attack he strikes are easily dodged by Akisame reading his movements without fail and land his own counterattack by launching the pebble away for a second to distract Inuyasha and palm strike to the side.
"You don't make this easy, huh?" Inuyasha asked.
"Of course, as a teacher, it is my job to push my students to their absolute limit and bring out their fullest potential. Although, there was this one time I accidently hurt three students and send them to the hospital a few years ago." Akisame remembered that time.
"No need to worry because I won't be the one going to the hospital!" Inuyasha declared.
"Well, we better get back to our classroom now." Miu said.
"I hope Inuyasha will be okay." Kagome concerned.
"Don't worry, Kōetsuji-Sensei may get rough with this kind of test, but he doesn't hurt them too badly." Renka assured, even though she knows about the few students Akisame hurt badly from her father.
And so, Inuyasha continue with his Pebble Test and every time he tried, he gets knock down or push away by Akisame with only using one hand though the white-haired demon boy doesn't give up that easily as he keeps on getting back up and charges at the teacher. His fierce charge and slashing attacks keep getting parry and avoid as Inuyasha has not been able to land a single hit on the guy, much less trying to grab his right hand to get the pebble.
Hours have pass and its already halfway end of lunchtime as Renka, Kagome, and Miu are seen sitting nearby eating their lunch while watching the pebble test.
"Okay, I thought this would be funny at first, but man Inuyasha just keeps on going the moment he gets knock down." Renka surprised of how tough Inuyasha is.
"Yeah, Inuyasha must have some pretty great stamina to last this long against a Grand Master martial artist." Miu impressed.
"I don't think other half-demons can last this long." Kagome stated that Inuyasha might be a special case.
"I have to agree, full-blooded demons can certainly last longer than that." A girl said walking up to them.
"Oh, Sango! Kisara!" Kagome smiled to see two of her friends from another class.
The one called Sango is a beautiful fair-skinned young woman with waist-length dark brown hair and brown eyes that are adorned with pink eye shadow. Her hair is tied loosely with a white ribbon or in a high ponytail with a red ribbon with bangs hanging on either side. She wears the came white and green Shikon High female uniform with the red tie. Breasts sizes: E-cup.
"Hey there, we came to check up on the new kid we heard about two days ago." The other girl, Kisara, explained.
Kisara is a beautiful young girl of average height. She has fair skin, full lips, and bright green eyes that are very cat-like. She sports a slender frame with a fairly small bust size, curvy hips and round buttocks. She also has well defined muscularly toned legs. She has shiny, unkempt red hair which she wears with a green cap. She also wears the Shikon High school uniform with her tie loosen from her neck. Breasts sizes: C-cup.
"So, that's him?" Kisara asked.
"Yep, his name is Inuyasha Kiba and apparently his father was a good friend of Kōetsuji-Sensei when he was a student." Miu mentioned.
"Really? Guess you learn something new every day." Kisara surprised.
"I can tell he got lots of potential to be the school's fighter though his approach is too predictable from the looks of it." Sango commented.
"Yeah, his senses are sharp and have good super strength, but he lacks any form of martial art skills, like at all. He just relays on instinct to fight." Renka explained.
"And we all know instinct can only get you so far in some situations in a fight." Miu added.
"True, I bet he's feeling exhausted from doing this test." Sango concerned.
"Actually, Inuyasha hasn't took a single break ever since the start of the test. Not once." Kagome mentioned shocking Sango and Kisara.
"Seriously! If I were that guy, I would drop to the ground all tired and give myself at least a thirty-minute break." Kisara stated.
"I know what you mean, people would feel exhausted from going on like that for so long, and yet Inuyasha isn't giving in. That determination of his is stronger than I gave my credit for." Renka commented as she drinks her soda can.
"I certainly would like to have a sparring match with him when I get the chance." Kisara interested in Inuyasha's strength.
"Maybe you can, he does live in the Ryōzanpaku dorm with us." Kagome revealed.
"Is that right? Maybe I'll pop by there." Kisara said.
Time went on as Inuyasha continue with his struggle to get the pebble from Akisame's hand and keeps getting knocked down, covered in dirt and a few bruises on his body, but Inuyasah doesn't give up as he keeps charging in like a wild animal.
Now it is the last period as the three girls watches this through the window seeing Inuyasha still going.
"Wow, he's been at this all day and still won't give up." Miu surprised.
"There's only three minutes left until the final ball ring. If he doesn't pass this…" Kagome worried for Inuyasha.
"(Inuyasha, is your spirit that strong to keep going like this?)" Renka thought asked.
"Damn it, why can't I do this?" Inuyasha asked panting a little.
"If you want some advice, I say your approach is too forward and your attacks are too predictable to see through. You also keep rushing in without a second thought, don't you think you need to think this through before making your action?" Akisame advised.
This conversation has brought Inuyasha's mind on what Kikyo said to him this morning, about being patient and stuff which gave him an idea.
"Okay, guess it's now or never." Inuyasha said to himself and start moving around Akisame.
"(So, he's trying something different. Good, perhaps he's starting to realize something.)" Akisame thought wonder what Inuyasha is going to do next.
"It looks like he's doing something else now." Kagome noticed as they keep watch.
Inuyasha then stop and got down on all four while still starring at Akisame.
"It's now or never." Inuyasha said.
"One minute left." Akisame said.
Inuyasha sprint at the teacher and ran around him following the hand with the pebble inside, he thrust his hand to get that hand, but Akisame grabs it with his freehand and intend to throw Inuyasha back. However, Inuyasha managed to grab onto his shoulder and pushes himself to the side reaching out for the pebble though Akisame threw the pebble in the air to use both hands to slam Inuyasah down on the ground.
"Hmm, good attempt, but still useless in the end." Akisame said waiting for the pebble to come back onto his hand. But it never came.
"Look again, teach." Inuyasha smirked, revealing to have the pebble between his feet.
"Whoa! He actually got the pebble!" Renka shouted shock as the other students see this.
"My, my, it would seem you have a unique way of getting things in your sight." Akisame smiled.
"Well done, Inuyasha Kiba, you pass." Akisame said as Inuyasha smirks back.

Inuyasha passed the new student test and now he gets to continue fighting and partake in the combat class that he will find out more soon, I thought of doing the classic pebble test like some cheesy martial art movies or shows do.
