Visit from a Tiny, Blood Sucking Friend
Shigure is seen in the backyard practicing her swordsmanship on one side with her best friend and pet mouse, Tōchūmaru is standing on top of a launching machine with basketball-size metal balls ready to be launch at her.
Shigure nods telling her mousey friend to begin, and he did by jumping onto a button that fired two metal balls at once flying at the woman fast, and she made one swing as they fly past her head, and they suddenly came apart in six pieces.
Tochumaru gives out a thumb up for "Great" to the master of weaponry and launch more metal balls and Shigure slashes at them faster than the trained eye can see, and they all fell into literally pieces on the ground behind her. One metal ball was only about three inches close to her face, yet Shigure react in an instant and that metal ball came undone too.
"Fast with your sword as always, Shigure." Kikyo complimented as she brought snacks and tea for them.
"Most women around your age wouldn't dare touch a weapon if they didn't want to break a nail." Kikyo joked.
"Then they are fools for not being prepare for the danger of the world we live in." Shigure stated as she sat next to get and drink the cup of tea.
"Although, wouldn't that also apply to you as well?" Shigure asked.
"Perhaps if there were any man that make me feel like that." Kikyo said.
"Not even before Kagome was born?" Shigure asked curiously.
"Nope, though I did end up sleeping with a teacher in one of my old classes because of a bet, but nothing serious except making me pregnant after I started my second year in high school." Kikyo shrugged.
"But I don't regret it because I got something an amazing daughter and I can't wait to see how she'll grow into a fine woman." Kikyo smiled.
Shigure form a small smile on her face thinking if she would ever find a man out there who is her soulmate, which is weird because she never thought of things like until recently probably when Inuyasha moved in here.
"(I keep thinking about Inuyasha since he moved here last month.)" Shigure thought.
Suddenly she heard movements in the trees over the stone wall around the dojo which Kikyo also heard that as well and the two threw one chopstick each at where the small sound came from.
"HEY! Are you trying to end my tiny life!" An elder voice gasped.
"Oh, that voice." Kikyo surprised as she recognizes that voice anywhere.
(Demon Combat Class)
Inuyasha is seen about to be by a shadow of a large claw as he quickly dodges it with a quick jump to the arm of the demon to attack with his Iron Reaper Soul Stealer, but the attack didn't affect the demon and smack him away.
"Inuyasha!" Miu jumped in catching him.
"You idiot! Didn't I just said not to rush in without a plan?" Renka scolded.
"I do have a plan, attack!" Inuyasha said before charging in again.
"That is not a plan!" Renka yelled in frustration.
"Remember, you all must work together in defeating the armored demon and try finding it's weak spot." Suikotsu reminded as he watched his students he assigned as a team battle.
"Take this!" Inuyasha slashed at the left front leg of the armored demon which doesn't do much like before.
The armored demon looks at the little human in red and its head pops out like a turtle coming out of its shell to devour the boy but fail when he was pulled away by a chain wrapping around his waist by Sango.
"You don't use your brain much, do you?" Sango asked.
"Only when I think about killing my enemies." Inuyasha answered as he got the chain off.
"Then you'll end up as that demon's snack if you don't pay attention to everything that happens even when during battle." Sango lectured.
"If I need a lecture like that, I'll let you know." Inuyasha rolled his eyes.
The armored demon charges at them and jumps for a body slam on the two only they move out of the way fast letting it hit the floor, Miu comes in for a fly kick at the joint of the elbow making a tiny crack sound though the armored demon roars in pain and toss her away.
"We just need to focus on attacking the exposed spots that aren't cover in armor." Miu informed her team.
But the armored demon was already in front her immediately after telling them that and raise is claws to kill her, Inuyasha jumps in to help get her out of the way one big cut on his right arm.
"You okay, Miu?" Inuyasha asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine thanks to you, but your arm." Miu answered and worried.
"Don't worry, this is nothing." Inuyasha smirked.
Inuyash looked back at the armored demon and pierce his claws of his left hand on the wound to launch an attack.
"Blades of Blood!" Inuyasha fired bladed projectiles made from his own blood and harden by his demonic power.
The red flying slashes hit the armored demon on the upper part of its body and the head though didn't leave much of a scratch, but one blood blade was able to hit the eye making it roar in pain again.
"Sorry, did I get blood in your eye?" Inuyasha asked sarcastically with a smirk.
"Good work, but we really need to finish this demon off for good." Sango stated and had the team to huddle.
"We need to get that demon to reveal its head like it did before when Inuyasha tried attacking it." Sango said.
"Yeah, like an idiot." Renka pointed out.
"I didn't you see try anything to get the freak's attention." Inuyasha glared.
"Save the arguing for later. I think we should start by holding down it's legs to keep it from moving for a while." Sango suggested as she brought out some chains handing them to the others.
"I get it, with its four limbs unable at thee moment then it has no choice but to bring out the head." Miu understand the plan.
"Exactly, and that means no charging in blindly this time for you." Sango pointed her finger Inuyasha.
"I'll do it only if I get to attack the head too." Inuyasha said.
"I'm sure we can make it work, hopefully if these chains are strong enough to hold it in place." Renka looked at the chains.
"They're strong enough to get the job done. Now, let's go!" Sango ended the huddle and just in time as they jump away dodging a claw attack.
Inuyasha threw the first chain wrapping around the front left leg and ran under it, the other girls started doing the same with the other three legs and running around to make the chain tied around it tight.
"Pull!" Sango shouted as they started pulling the chains causing the armored demon to fall and struggle get these chains off.
"Time to add a little more kick!" Renka jumped high in the air.
"Shiratori daibukikku (Swan Dive Kick)!" Renka slammed her foot right onto the back of the armored demon forcing it down some more.
"Alright, now the head should come out right about now." Renka grinned.
As predicted, the head did pop out showing its long neck and sharp teeth as it turns its attention to Renka and lung at her.
Renka saw this coming and quickly jump out of the way though the armored demon's fangs manage to leave a cut on her leg, then it quickly moves its neck to smack Renka away.
"Renka!" Miu gasped.
Inuyasha's eyes widen of shock seeing Renka like this and something inside is raising up feeling angry and out for blood, for an instant his eyes turned red before normal.
"You bastard… You're going to pay for that!" Inuyasha angered and lunged at the head.
The armored demon head saw the boy coming and lunch at him two with a strong tackle to the floor, but Inuyasha's back never touch the ground as he stands strong on his feet and sinking his claws into one eye and between the eyes.
"Hey Sango, better do something now." Inuyasha grunted as he keeps the head in place.
"On it!" Sango jumped away and to her right.
"Hiraikotsu!" Sango threw her giant boomerang weapon to cut the head off from the body.
"And that's that." Sango smiled and caught her Hiraikotsu.
"That ends today's team match. Great job, you four." Suikotsu clapped his hands.
"Thank you, Suikotsu Sensei." Sango thanked with a bow.
"Hey Renka, you okay?" Inuyasha asked.
"I'll be fine, not the first time I got a scratch like this." Renka chuckled, then flinch from the pain.
"Well, you won't be able to go to the nurse office like that." Inuyasha pointed out.
Then he did the expected, he threw Renka onto his shoulder and walk towards the door.
"Hey, hey, just what do you think you're doing?" Renka gasped blushing.
"What else, taking you to the nurse's office." Inuyasha answered.
"And why exactly do you have to carry me like this? It's stupid, put me down right now!" Renka demanded.
"Oh yeah, and how exactly will you even get to their with your leg bleeding like that?" Inuyasha asked as he opens the door.
"I told you, this happen before, and I can endure pain like this." Renka pointed out.
"Yeah, not taking any chances with you becoming a reliability." Inuyasha mocked as he walks out of the large classroom.
"A what? Try saying that once I knock a couple of teeth out of your mouth!" Renka enraged.
"Well, those two sure interact with each other a lot." Sango commented.
"I know, they are such good friends, don't you think?" Miu asked smiling and clapped her hands.
"Sure, if you want to look at it like that." Sango said sweatdrop.
(After School, Ryōzanpaku)
"I told you, I'm fine. The nurse just wrapped put some potion on me and wrapped the bandage, no need to be so worried." Renka pointed out as they walk together to the dojo.
"Well, it's your felt for letting that monster hurt you like that, and you're supposed to be a strong fighter." Inuyasha looked down at Renka's bandaged leg.
"Okay, what is with you? You're being really weird today." Renka wondered.
"Nothing, I'm just pointing out the obvious." Inuyasha said.
"It's annoying, so stop that." Renka talked back.
"Huh, Inuyasha sure is being close to Renka lately." Kagome noticed the interaction between them.
"I think it' a sign meaning they are becoming good friends." Miu believed.
"It kind of looks like that, but I get the feeling that it might be more than that." Kagome said.
"Oh, like falling in love?" Miu guessed.
"Okay, now that is crazy." Kagome laughed a little.
"Although, that could be a possibility which would explain why Inuyasha looks a little more concern for Renka than before." Kagome stated.
"(Yet for some reason I'm feeling jealous of this.)" Kagome thought deadpanned herself.
The four young warriors in training enter home and into the main building shouting they are home.
"Welcome home, everyone. There are snacks table in the living room if you want some." Kikyo greeted and noticed Renka's leg.
"Renka, are you okay?" Kikyo asked concern.
"Just a little scratch from the combat training, nothing to worry about." Renka assured.
"You should be more concern of your own well-being than anything else, you could've gotten more than a scratch and you need to prepare yourself for that." Kikyo scolded strongly.
"Do I make myself clear?" Kikyo asked.
"Ma'am." Renka exclaimed.
"And Inuyasha, you have a visitor." Kikyo informed.
"A visitor?" Inuyasha surprised as he doesn't know a lot of people to come visit him.
"Master Inuyasha, how good it is to see you again!" The elder man's voice cheered.
"Huh, it sounded like it came from the living room." Miu said.
"No, the sound of that voice would have been a little loud. It's more like this person is closer." Kagome pointed out.
"But if that's the case, then where is he?" Renka asked.
"He's right here." Inuyasha said twitching his eyebrow in annoyance and smack his own face.
"Take a look." Inuyasha showed what's on his hand to the girls.
They became shocked upon seeing a tiny old man with four little arms and a pointy nose that almost look like a carrot.
"Owie, never hesitating to strike like that, Master Inuyasha…" The little old man groaned.
"Whoa, that old man is small!" Kagome surprised.
"Is he a demon?" Renka asked.
"Aw, he looks like a mini-snowman." Miu complimented.
"Ah, you three must be Master Inuyasha's friends. It is so nice to see that he actually made throughout his lonely years and worry that his doggy attitude would have prevented that." The tiny old man cried of joy and squashed in Inuyasha's hands.
"Still like to fun that stupid mouth of yours as always, Myōga." Inuyasha angered.
"Myoga, is that his name?" Miu asked.
"Yeah, he used to follow my dad around everywhere he goes like a freeloading pest." Inuyasha exclaimed.
"Now, Master Inuyasha. I was one of the fateful servants to your father, a great man he was with both the heart and power. Not to mention his blood tasted really good like yours." Myoga bragged.
"Blood, are you like a tiny vampire demon?" Renka asked as she picks up Myoga.
"Of course not, I am a demon flee though a bit bigger for you people to see me up close like this." Myoga revealed what demon he is.
"Well, then allow me to welcome you to the Ryōzanpaku dojo." Miu welcomed the little demon.
"Thank you for the welcome." Myoga smiled.
"Okay Myoga, can you tell me why you're here in the first place?" Inuyasha asked getting impatient and snatch the old flee from Renka's hand.
"Right, right, the reason why I'm here." Myoga nodded.
"How about we sit down in the living room. The other masters are here too." Kikyo gestured.
The five and Myoga went into the living room as the five masters have already met with Myoga earlier before the teens came in.
"It sure brings back memories with you here." Akisame said.
"Yeah, like how you almost quite getting squish in the hallway." Sakai laughed.
"Yes, we'll get to the memories later. Right now, this involves more with Inuyasha." Myoga looked at the boy.
"Tell me, have you started experiencing a sudden change in your body, like something is urging you to go wild and angry when you fight?" Myoga asked.
"Changed?" Inuyasha confused, then remember something during combat training.
"Now that you mentioned it, I think I did feel something like that when I saw Renka for being reckless and I got so angry that wanted to kill the damn thing myself until there's nothing left." Inuyasha recalled that instant feeling.
"(Was he that angry for me?)" Renka thought surprised and blushing a bit.
"As I fear, the demon side of you is starting to act up through your rage." Myoga stated.
"Appa? Apachai does not understand what tiny old man is saying." Apachai confused.
"It means that Inuyasha's demonic power is going to consume him if he is not careful with his emotions, such has happened to other half-demons before him." Kensai explained.
"Indeed, and you were lucky that it was only for an instant otherwise you have gotten into that more whether you're angry or your life was in danger close to death, than you would have become cruel and dangerous like an actual demon." Myoga explained shocking the girls and Shigure.
"That can happen?" Shigure asked.
"Yes, and that is why I have come here on such a long journey to tell Inuyasha that it is time to take up the gift his father left him behind." Myoga said.
"Gift, my old man left something for me?" Inuyasha asked.
"That's right, now it's the time for you to take up the sword he once wields that made him a legend in the world." Myoga mentioned.
"I see, so is that time. I figured the time would come." Akisame said, knowing what the flee demon is talking about.
"Inuyasha, it's time you take the Tessaiga." Myoga declared.

Looks like Inuyasha is starting to tap into a bit more of his demonic power than he normal should and now the flee servant of his late father has come to tell him about a sword that can help him.
