Demonic Exam of the Survival!

Inuyasha and the three girls are walking together to the Shikon High School for the big test that will decide the fate of the students taking the special demon fighting class, and Inuyasha is looking pretty confident in his strength to pass the test.

"You seem to be in a good mood, Inuyasha." Miu noticed that.

"You better believe I am! I might be on the verge of unleashing the power of the Tessaiga." Inuyasha smirked, patting on the hilt of the sword.

"You've been training hard for this and learing everything you could from the other masters too." Kagome recalled now on the training some of the masters put him through.

"And how painful your back must've been feeling during those training exercises." Renka chuckled a little.

"Very funny, but you won't be laughing like that for long after I show you how strong I am when I take that test!" Inuyasha said.

"Just make sure not to hurt yourself too much, the tests that are done here aren't anything to laugh off nor to be underestimated. They will even make you bleed to test out your survival skills." Renka explained.

"Sounds like the kind of school most parents' wouldn't send their kids to." Inuyasha commented.

"I'm sure glad I'm not gonna be taking it. That kind of test is too much, put me in the written one any time." Kagome stated.

"I'm almost jealous of you." Renka said sarcastically.

The three arrive at the school and were about to enter the building, but Inuyasha stop himself from reaching the door and saw someone carrying a lot of stuff is having trouble moving forward and looks like he's about to drop some boxes.

"Looks like someone is having trouble with their boxes." Inuyasha said.

"Oh, I think that's Kenichi, same class as us. He's also in the Gardening Club." Miu remembered that guy.

"Oh yeah, he's the guy who likes to try hang out with you lot." Renka said, also remembering that guy.

"Looks like Kenichi got himself a lot a stuff to carry but be for his Gardening Club though I feel kinda worry for him carrying so much by himself." Kagome said.

"Then why doesn't some other member of the club help him?" Inuyasha asked.

"Because there aren't that many club members, it's just three members including Kenichi." Miu answered.

Inuyasha can see this Kenichi guy is struggling to carry those boxes and could drop them at any moment along with him being fallen on the ground, he can't help but feel like the guy could use some help right about now.

"You girls go on without me, I'm gonna help out the guy." Inuyasha walked toward Kenichi.

"Okay, just be sure to arrive in class on time and try not to scare him!" Miu advised.

"That was a surprise, him going to help someone." Kagome commented.

"Guess the big tough dog has a soft spot." Renka giggled.

The boy known as Kenichi with his face being covered by the four large boxes he has been carrying since getting them is feeling the balance going out of whack on him, and fear that two of the boxes are about to fall.

When one box is about to fall, Inuyasha grabs the box with one hand to prevent it from falling.

"You need help carrying all of that?" Inuyasha asked.

"Oh, thanks man." Kenichi sighed.

"Wait, you're the new student! Inuyasha Kiba!" Kenichi recognized the guy.

"That's me, heard your name is Kenichi." Inuyasha said.

"Yeah, I'm Kenichi Shirahama. It's nice to finally meet you in person." Kenichi smiled.

Kenichi is a young man of average height with medium length spiky brown hair in the back and some hanging in the front on the sides and brown eyes. He wears the school uniform with a Yin-Yang symbol badge on the folded down collar of his shirt.

"That's a lot of stuff you're carrying, not sure if you'd be able to make it alone." Inuyasha pointed out.

"I know, but the other two club members have other things to work on at the moment. So, I'm the only one who has to get these fertilizers and health water mix plant food to the club." Kenichi explained.

"I could help you with all that." Inuyasha offered.

"Oh, are you sure? I don't cause any trouble if you're late." Kenichi surprised.

"It's fine, the exam doesn't start until later." Inuyasha said as he took two boxes from Kenichi.

"The final exams before summer break, heard it's pretty tough and very scary. I'm sure glad I'm not taking it." Kenichi said as they walk together to the greenhouse.

"Too much of a coward to take it yourself?" Inuyasha asked with a deadpan expression.

"Well, uh, I… Most likely." Kenichi chuckled nervously.

"But even so, I also admire the Demon Slayers out there risking their lives fighting off demons and bad people like superheroes. That's the kind of person I wanna be." Kenichi expressed himself liking the Demon Slayers with a smile.

"But you don't like violence much, which is why you're here in the Gardening club." Inuyasha guessed.

"Yeah, I guess you could say I'm a bit of a pacifist." Kenichi admitted.

"Then you'll never be able to live up to what you could do if you don't at least stand up for yourself to protect the ones you wanna protect." Inuyasha stated.

"Wow, that is surprisingly wise coming from you." Kenichi surprised to hear such a wise thing from Inuyash'as mouth.

"I picked it up from some old blind man." Inuyasha said, remembered some of the words Akisame would say.

They arrive at the greenhouse and drop off the boxes at a corner, then Kenichi looks closely at a potted plant that he has been taking care of for a while.

"Well, believe me when I say that if there's anyone in problem like getting bullied by others in front of me then I'll jump in and use my body to protect them. Even if I can't fight back." Kenichi said with strength in his words.

"(Huh, maybe that guy isn't such a total weakling.)" Inuyasha thought commented on this guy.

"Oh, we should be getting going! Don't wanna be late for class!" Kenichi realized the time.

"Right." Inuyasha nodded and they ran out of the greenhouse.

Unknown to them, a shadowy large and muscle man is watching directly at Inuyasha feeling an interest in him.

"My, my, it looks like I'm gonna be seeing a lot of Toga's son in action." The man said before he suddenly disappeared when a leaf flew past the scene.

(Later)

"Alright! Time to show them what this dog is made of!" Inuyasha excitedly as he gets himself ready in the locker room.

"Tessaiga, we worked hard for this! Time to blow them away!" Inuyasha said to his sealed sword.

"You sound very confident in that sword of yours." The mysterious man said from the other side of the lockers.

"Hell yea, I am! It's the most powerful sword I have ever seen, and it's gonna help me get through this test!" Inuyasha proclaimed.

"Relying on powerful weapons is nice and all, but the weapon won't be powerful if the wielder isn't the strong one holding the weapon. That's what makes a real warrior." The man advised.

"You must let your feelings be pour into the Tessaiga, let it feel your strong will and the desire to slay evil to protect the ones you wish to protect. That is how strong a weapon can be when being wielded by such a strong warrior." The man said wisely.

"Pour my feelings into the Tessaiga? Can I really do that?" Inuyasha asked.

It only took Inuyasha about five seconds to realize that he is not alone in the locker room right now and felt like an idiot for not realizing that sooner.

"Hey! Are you even a teacher here?" Inuyasha asked as he runs to the other side of the lockers but found no one there.

"What the… Was I just hearing this? No, I know someone was here." Inuyasha confused of this strange encounter.

"Damn it, I'll worry about it later." Inuyasha left the locker room as he had an exam to do.

Inuyasha makes his way to the Demon Combat Class where the teacher and the other students saw him coming in, just in time when class is about to start.

"Okay everyone, the written test is over for all of you and now it's time for those in the Demon Combat Class to take the second half of the exam!" Suikotsu announced.

"Now, for those of you who don't know about the exam. I shall explain." Suikotsu said.

"For this exam, we're gonna be putting you students into a dimensional realm where you will find yourself in a new area and there will be demons scatter all over the area. Don't worry, they're not the ultra-strong demons that are too powerful for you first-years." Suikotsu explained the first part.

"(Seriously? This won't be fun.)" Inuyasha thought complained.

"The goal is to defeat twenty-five demons that have been scattered in each area for each student, there is also a dragon statue at the center of your area to get, but you must defeat the demons first before that. The time limit will be one hour." Suikotsu explained.

"25 demons, huh? Shouldn't be that hard." Inuyasha muttered to himself.

"Be careful not to get overconfident or else you'll find yourself dead like those before you." Sango warned.

"Like anything could kill me." Inuyasha said but will take those words in his head.

"Alright, step into the circle and the test will begin!" Suikotsu ordered, pointing at the drawn circle on his left.

"You're gonna do great, Inuyasha! I just know it!" Miu smiled.

"You better survive, or you won't get anything out of me." Renka said walking past him.

"I'm a tougher survivor than you think." Inuyasha said back.

Everyone steps into the drawn circle, upon closer look the circle has some strange markings and symbols inside, then the circle started glowing bright purple and red together.

The light glows brighter and brighter for a moment until Inuyasha now finds himself surrounded in a giant forest with some really tall trees, and the scenery here almost looks like a jungle with a very strong hint of danger around him.

"Okay, this is something I can deal with." Inuyasha nodded and took out Tessaiga.

"Alright, time to hunt me down 25 demons!" Inuyasha ran fast hoping to find a demon fast and finish this exam before the others.

It was only the first minute in this new area that a demon pops out of its hiding place to attack Inuyasha with a large claw attack, but he was able to sense that thanks to his nose and block it with his sword then parry it away.

"Nice try, but you're gonna have to be faster than my nose to get the drop on me!" Inuyasha smirked before he swings his sword to cut the demon down to death.

"Alright, already down to my first demon!" Inuyasha cheered.

"Now to move on with the other 24 demons!" Inuyasha looked around and sniff the air for another demon close by.

"Oh, looks like I got myself another fucker to kill!" Inuyasha grinned before running off to find his second demon.

Somewhere at a random spot in the dimensional forest, something is lurking within the shadows with glowing red eyes appearing from the shadows and making a vicious hard growl sound.

(With Suikotsu)

Suikotsu is seen sitting in the middle of the magic circle with the little, round and soft of flat pieces like the ones for the Japanese Go Game, but these pieces are each in different color as they are for the students taking the Demon Combat exam.

"Looks like everyone is doing okay with their exam. Oh, and it looks like Kisara is making good track with her 9th demon kill." Suikotsu said as he writes this down.

Oh yeah, he can also use these pieces to track down the students' movements on what they're doing though not entirely and track on how many demons they're able to kill on their own.

"What about Inuyasha? How are you doing so far?" Suikotsu looked over to Inuyasha's piece and saw the number 7.

"Seven demons already! That boy sure is not wasting anytime." Suikotsu impressed and look over the time that 21 minutes have already pass.

"It's gonna be half an hour soon, those demons better pick up the pace." Suikotsu said.

But then he notices something odd going on with the bigger piece at the center of the circle, this piece is keeping track of how many demons are left with one for each student though the number on the big piece seems to be off including Inuyasha.

"That's strange, the big piece for Inuyasha is still showing 25 even though he already killed seven demons, so the number should go down to 18." Suikotsu said.

Suikotsu reach out his hand to inspect the piece but pull away when he saw the number went up to 27, then up again to 35, and again up to 49 and the number keeps going up.

"What's going on? There shouldn't be more than 25 demons in Inuyasha's area!" Suikotsu freaked out, fearing that something bad is happening while Inuyasha is taking the exam.

"I need to pull Inuyasha out of there!" Suikotsu reached for the Inuyasha piece to stop the exam and figure out what is going on here.

However, the piece suddenly sparks of black lightning electricity that shocked the hand away from touching it and spread throughout the area on the circle map, and that left some great worries in the Demon Combat class teacher.

"Inuyasha, whatever is going on in there… I hope you'll be able to survive this because this just became more than your grade." Suikotsu feared something bad is gonna happen to Inuyasha.

(With Inuyasha)

Inuyasha let out a fierce scream as he cut down two demons at once and their upper halves fell onto the ground.

"Alright, that makes 17 demons in a row!" Inuyasha counted with a grin.

"Man, I am on a roll today, it's like those demons are coming for me than me searching for them in this damn forest. Not that I'm complaining." Inuyasha shrugged.

Inuyasha ran off again to search for more demons, getting really excited to finish this exam soon, but then something came out of the woods to attack making the white hair boy jump out of the way to dodge.

"Sheesh, you sure wanna a piece of me." Inuyasha taunted.

The demon shot itself up to attack Inuyasha only for that demon to have its head cut open in two down to the chin, but suddenly Inuyasha got snatch up by a flying bird demon that came out of nowhere.

"Hey! Let go of me, you fucking overgrown turkey!" Inuyasha yelled and swing his sword, trying to cut the bird demon until he managed to cut one leg off.

This causes the bird demon to screech in pain and fly out of control that threw Inuyasha off, but that also gave him one terrifying view of seeing lots and lots of demons marching toward him and it appears to be maybe a hundred of them.

"Seriously?" Inuyasha shocked.

Several flying demons came flying at Inuyasha to attack him, he does his best to strike back, but struggles to land any hits because of how they move in the air and one of them tackles him down to crash into the ground.

Inuyasha cut the head off and remove the dead demon corpse, but he sees the hundred demons coming at him.

"Fuck it, I'll take them all down!" Inuyasha yelled.

Several fast demons are coming at him, slashing and moving around making it really hard for Inuyasha to land a good hit and getting some cuts on himself as well, feeling the damage and getting three claw marks on his cheek.

"Okay, you guys are tough, I'll give you that much. But you won't be laughing when I kill you with Tessiage, I still have a promise to keep for Renka!" Inuyasha stated strongly and the sword started glowing.

"Tessiage?" Inuyasha surprised, and then he remembers something.

"You must let your feelings be pour into the Tessaiga, let it feel your strong will and the desire to slay evil to protect the ones you wish to protect. That is how strong a weapon can be when being wielded by such a strong warrior."

"My feelings… into my sword." Inuyasha repeated the words, it was crazy, but this is something he has to do. He held his sword aiming right at the demons then held it up over his head, ready to give this everything he got.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

It looks like Inuyasha's exam has just gotten harder with an unexpected twist that he is going to be facing 100 demons instead of just 25 demons, but he may be able to beat them if he could pull off one attack that will get the job done.
