A/N: Hello, welcome to chaos! To be honest, I really don't know where this is going! I think this is going to be an modern A/U with a plot similar to Mamma Mia! but with Maria, Georg and the other characters. I'm going for in between a chaptered series and a series of one -shots. Some of the chapter's are going to be based on songs, some won't. Also, I'm still getting used to FFN so this might take a while! FYI: Some or all of these chapters may be pretty short. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this pit of madness!

505- Arctic Monkeys, 2007

Maria had the biggest crush on Georg Von Trapp, the most popular guy in school. Oh, surely he wouldn't fancy a mountain girl like her- but she was wrong.

While many girls surrounded Georg, he only looked at one person. Maria. He'd seen her multiple times in hallways with her best friend Elsa which was his best friend, Max's girlfriend. Though she always had an interesting choice of clothing, she was still very attractive; maybe she just didn't know it yet.

"Whoa, ladies!" Georg laughed at the many girls swooning over him, "Please, out of my way."

The girls immediately stood aside, he looked over to one of them- twirling a brunette curl with her finger, winking at him. He winked back at her, she practically melted against her locker.

Suddenly, he bumped into someone.

"Oh, sorry. My bad- I wasn't looking." He said, steading the mysterious person with his hands on their shoulders.

"No, it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention." Maria looked up at the figure, Georg.

"No, it was mine-" Georg stopped and realized who he had bumped into, "Hey. You're Maria, right?"

"Yeah," she looked up at him with wide blue eyes. "And you're Georg."

He awkwardly scratched the back of his neck with his hand, "Yeah."

She looked down at her wristwatch, "I've really got to get to class, again, I'm so sorry!"

With that, she practically ran to the third door to the left. Then, Georg was brought back to his senses- where was he going in the first place?Ah, his locker- to get his book.

He walked up to his locker and grabbed his book, he proceeded to close his locker door. When he shut the locker door, Max was on the other side.

"So, what class do you have next?"

"Oh, science."

"Isn't Maria in science?"

Georg flushed, then the bell rang- shit. So, that's why Maria was running.

"My apologies, Max but I'm so late for class!"

He ran, just like Maria did. He burst through the door into the class, "I'm so sorry, Ms. Margaretta!"

"It's fine, Georg. Why don't you get partnered up with Maria for your project?"

Here she was, standing at the door to Georg Von Trapp's house. He told her to knock 3 times, odd.

Knock, knock, knock.

She could hear a person rushing to the door, the door opened.

A female who looked a little older than Georg opened the door, "Hi!"

"Hello! I'm Maria, and you're.." Maria had seen her in the hallways before, what was her name? Ah! Got it! "Hede."

"Hede! Come back here!" Georg yelled, stopping at the door to realize Maria was standing right there. "Hi.. Maria."

"Hello, Georg."

"Come in!" Hede excitedly said, smiling widely. "Are you Georg's new girlfriend?"

"What? Oh, no!"

"Hede!"

Both Georg and Maria blushed profusely, "Georg's just my partner for the science project."

"Mhm, just a partner. Got it." Hede winked, "Alright, I'll leave you two alone."

After Hede left, Georg turned to Maria- who wasn't standing there anymore. What in the world? In the corner of his eye, he saw the ballroom door slightly ajar.

"You know, there are certain rooms in this house that are not to be disturbed."

"I'm sorry, I love exploring. A little too much at times- I mean, I can't seem to stop saying things, everything and anything I think and feel!"

"Some people would call that honesty, Maria."

"Oh, but it's terrible!"

Georg merely chuckled, she is so adorable.

"Let's go up to my room and do the project."

"Sure!"

They had been working on their project for an hour now, not much progress.

"Do you wanna quickly grab a bite?"

"Yeah, sure!"

As they headed downstairs, Maria and Georg kept stealing glances at each other. Little did they know, Hede was secretly spying on them (like any normal sibling would)

"Sorry, I don't have much. I hope apple strudel for dinner is enough."

"That's fine by me, I love apple strudel!" Maria gave him a cheeky smile.

Adorable, he thought.

Totally unaware, Maria kept staring at Georg as she took small bites of her strudel.

"Why do you stare at me that way?" Georg raised an eyebrow at Maria, who immediately avoided his gaze.

"I- uhm..." She unconsciously licked her lips.

One step,

Two steps,

Three steps.

Georg leaned in and kissed Maria.
