Tekkaman Prime
ESKK: Well let's get to it a new chapter published.
(Start Autobot Base)
Things were not well in the base ever since Nick lost his powers. For starters alarms and alerts were coming in almost every other day at this point. The autobots were being spread thin as is seeing as Radan had quickly taken the uptake once Blade was out of the way. Elita had taken a team of Autobots to guard the Tekk-Set Plants until they were ready to hatch and that was after Ratchet had given her the information on when that was. Right now without Tekkaman Blade Earth was vulnerable.
Decepticon Activity had also risen spreading their resources thinner as well. The good news was that some of those skirmishes had been between the bugs and the cons to which the Autobots left them to themselves there. It was an underhanded tactic but with their less then level resources the Bots were in a corner as it were. Right now Ratchet, Perceptor, and Jetfire were working on a secret project while backing Bulkhead, Chromia, and Ironhide make trips to where Fowler had moved Elita's ship to till the Bots could get the needed resources to repair their vessel.
Radan had been hitting small targets but now that Blade was gone they started moving to larger targets. They were careful with what they hit and since they lost the Tekk-Set Plant to the humans they had been weary to make another. Nearby Jack, Raf, and Miko saw the Bots on high alert as the Ground Bridge had opened and from it Ironhide and Bulkhead were seen walking in carrying some more parts with Chromia guiding them.
"Jeez the minute our super hero is out of commission the bugs take advantage of it." Jack said as he realized the bots were being pushed to the limit here.
"I don't think I've seen the Bots on edge like this." Raf said as he was worried for them.
"Don't take it too hard." Arcee said as she walked in on them as she was carrying some more equipment for the big brains. "Right now Ratchet, Jetfire, and Perceptor are working on something to help get Nick his powers back." Arcee said as she carried the container.
"Wait you can do that?" Miko asked shocked to hear this.
"No not really." Bulkhead said as he walked back to the main area dusting his hands a bit after he dropped off the parts. "But the big brains are in full science mode, and Perceptor already has a working theory on mixing Earth Tech with Cybertronian tech and the bug's bio tech." Bulkhead said as it seems whatever they were working on was going to be huge if it can restore Nick's powers.
"Will it work?" Raf asked worried that this may be all for nothing.
"I'm not sure Perceptor had even added a few Earth based things to help bring it all together. And considering they got one of them mech suits from Asia for the skeletal work I think they might be on the right track." Bulkhead said until Ratchet's voice came in.
"Bulkhead we need you here now." Ratchet was heard and thus Bulkhead sighed.
"Jeez it feels like they're building a tower in there." Bulkhead said as he then made his way to where the big brains were working.
"So the new guys won't be ready to fight for a while and we really need a Tekkaman out there." Jack said as he looked to Arcee.
"Yeah and so far our ace is currently moping around somewhere around here." Arcee said knowing Nick wasn't the same after losing his powers.
"I'll go check on our whining patient then." Miko said as she headed to check in on Nick surprising the two boys a bit.
"Hey Raf is it just me or does Miko seem a bit... off?" Jack asked with some concern.
"Off how?" Raf asked as he was at a loss.
"Well color me worried but I think Miko has a crush on him." Jack said and thus Raf then saw Perceptor walk in.
"Ah Raphael if it is not too much of a concern we may have need of your expertise on defragging some of our systems." Perceptor said and thus Raf then saw the big brain bot off his hand.
"Got it." Raf said as he grabbed his computer to aid the Autobot Perceptor.
"You better check on them, Nick's been a bit snapping ever since he lost his powers." Arcee said as she knew what Nick was going through feeling helpless and powerless it was a feeling she was familiar with.
(Meanwhile with Nick)
Nick was alone in his room as he looked ready to move out already. It was clear to him that without his powers he was useless in the fight against Radan. After that last mission he proceeded to lock himself in his room away from the others and more than that Nick was planning on leaving the base anyway. He had nothing to offer beyond his powers, Jack, Miko, and Raf were here because the Decepticons were after them for being the Autobots allies. Nick may have some talents due to his old position as part of the Argo's crew but nothing of use against the Cons or Radan without his powers.
A knock came at the door as Miko voice was heard as she said, "Hey D-boy, you in there?"
"Go away," Nick said as he stay his bed with Jack voice spoken up as he said, "Please Nick, we just want to talk, after that we'll leave you alone."
Nick didn't reply to them as he just stay there hoping they would go away on their own until Miko bangs on the door more loudly as she said, "Let us in or else it would just get louder."
(Outside)
Nick still didn't answer to them, with Jack wonder how they could get Nick to open the door, as Miko groin then she said about to talk back to the main area, "Okay I'm getting my guitar and amp!"
"Miko wait, are you sure that's a good idea?" Jack said as Miko turn around and said to Jack, "Its either that or we get a blow torch and-
She was cut off by the sound of the door unlocking and soon open standing there was nick, fully clothed as he said to the two teens, "Fine."
He walk away from the door letting Miko and Jack walk in as they look around the room as Miko said, "Man they really fix this room up for you huh?"
When Nick join team prime, Fowler had a team make a room for Nick to live in, using an old office space that no one really uses anymore sense the silo was abandon, getting rid of the old stuff, gave it a new paint job, put in new things as such a bed, a mini fridge for his own use, a desk with a computer that has limited internet access, and a T.V.
Nick just sat on his bed as he look at the two and said, "So what did you want to talk about?"
"Look Nick, we're just worry about you as ever sense you… lost your crystal, you never left this room, or even said anything to anyone about what happen," Jack said as Nick said to him, "What is there to say? Dagger set a trap, destroyed my Tekk-set crystal, and renders me of turning into a Tekkaman again, making me useless! I'm stuck here while Radan are slowly taking over this world with these robots barely holding them off, and there nothing I can do about it!"
"Dude, the 3 big brains are setting you up with a new gear to help you out to turn you into a Tekkaman again! Why can't you be excited about that?" Miko said as Nick scoffed at that as he said, "They working a way for me to turn back into Tekkaman again? No one can figure out how Radan bio-tech even work, and you think they can figure it out in just a week or so? Even if they are advance Autonomous robots, they can't turn their ground bridge into a space bridge, as I heard that is one of their goals but still taking them time for them to figuring out, and last I check, biotechnology isn't in their field of expertise, so waiting for them to figure out how to make me a Tekkaman again before the world gets taken over, by the Radan or these Decepticons, I might have well just died in that crater."
Jack is surprise by Nick respond to that as he thought telling him the autobots were working on a way to restore Nick's powers to him but he just ended up dissing them before he sees what it could do, with Miko is just pissed off by what Nick said as she just walk up to him and give him a slap to the face which surprise both guys in the room as Miko said while poking her finger into Nick's chest as she said, "Listen here bucko! The Bots are doing everything they can to help you, so you can get back out there and kick Radan butt and help save our world, but you lock yourself inside feeling sorry for yourself and already given up without throwing one more punch. If you don't see it, then let me show you!"
She grab Nick's arm and pulling him out of his room and drag him across the hall as he started to cry out a bit from Miko grip and twist, while Jack is shock by this as he never thought Miko had it in her to do this, as he just follows them out to make sure Miko doesn't break Nick in any way possible.
(Scene break)
In a another open area of the silo that the Autobots converge it into a laboratory of some sort where the Autobot's big brain were working on a big project that would allow Nick to become Tekkaman again, as they have the mech already build up with wings on its back, fins on its arms, bulky looking, but a bit smaller than bulkhead, painted blue all around, with tubes, cables, and other wiring around it with Raf was typing on his computer to get the finer detail of the coding done for this new robot.
A made transformer, using technology of earth and Radan, as well parts of omega supreme and some Decepticons tech from the remains of Nightbird's starship that was still useable to them, as it may not have a spark of any sort but a well advance A.I that could help control the machine, but there was still a lot of work that needed to be done still as Raf said, "Well its ain't much but I have the basic function commands, but the rest will still take time."
"We thank you for helping us Rafael, we may have done most of it, but it's coming down to the harder part of this," Jetfire said as he may be smart but trying to create and program an A.I is not in his skill set.
"Once those code are written up, all that come down to is the power transfer, but it's unknown what could happen if we mix energon with Tekk Set energy," Perceptor said as Radan and Energon didn't mix well for some reason, who know what could happen if their source of powers mix together could do with Raf looks at him and asked, "But would this be enough to get Nick his power back?"
"That's the thing Raf, Nick never lost his powers, as they are already inside of him due to the Radan experiments and infuse their Biotech within him, but Nick lost his only way to access his power when he lost his crystal that form an energy field around him and bring forth his power as well dismiss it, we are trying to recreate that field within tri-brid," Ratchet said as to the theory to recreate the same field on a smaller scale within the new machine while also protect Nick while he transforms.
"Tri-Brid?" Miko asked as she sounded thoroughly unimpressed by that name.
"We've run through multiple simulations with what we have already have but we've run into multiple kinks." Perceptor said from his own station. "Already we've managed to block out the enemies Spectrum Field form interfering with the transformation but it's the actual method of transformation that has proven to be a hurdle." Perceptor said as he began running the simulations as Nick, Jack, and Miko were now looking at a nearby computer screen. "As it stands we had to work on creating a new alloy that can withstand the electromagnetic waves and spatial distortions that would occur inside Tri-Brid." Perceptor said as he in turn began the simulation.
The simulation began to load as everyone looked upon it to see just what advancements their science team had gotten. The simulation showed Nick entering Tri-Brid from a hatch on his back and the transformation commencing for it. Miko, Jack, and Nick were all wondering if it would work as they saw the simulation progress. But when it got to Nick changing into Tekkaman Blade the Danger signal was shown before it shifted to Error and thus the simulation ended and the system crashed again.
Nick growled as Raf was quick on the uptake of resetting and getting the system back online. "The High Electromagnetic Wave readings while not unknown to Cybertronians has proven to be a hurdle for the materials we currently have available." Ratchet began as he looked to the group. "But it to be noted that Tri-Brid is showing signals in the simulation similar to a Ground Bridge so I had approached it from that stand point but as you clearly saw..." Ratchet trailed off before Miko spoke up.
"Yeah I don't think we need D-Boy blowing up inside Pegas." Miko said and thus all eyes fell to her.
"Pegas?" Bulkhead asked and thus Miko clarified.
"Yeah short for Pegasus." Miko clarified and thus the Bots were still at a lost.
"What's Pegasus?" Ironhide asked as he looked to the humans.
"A Pegasus is a winged horse from Greek Mythology... I wrote a bit on them in my history report." Miko said remembering that night when she helped the Bots steal the Energon Harvester. "They are noted to be among the most loyal of creatures in any mythology." Miko said and thus Jack and Raf looked at Miko in shock.
"I... I don't know which is shocking the fact you know this or the thought you actually read something to learn this." Jack said as Miko glared at Jack for that one.
"It's pointless." Nick said as he turned around and walked off to sulk some more.
"Hey hold your horses D-Boy!" Miko called out grabbing Nick and pulled him back.
"How about you stop being Arcee." Miko began which Arcee heard from her spot.
"Hey!" Arcee called out a bit offended.
"And acknowledge the bots are trying to help you out and busting their butts to get it done!" Miko scolded as Nick glared a bit.
"They're making a tri-breed of three incompatible techs by the time they make a breakthrough it will be too late!" Nick argued as he glared at Miko.
"At least their trying instead of throwing in the towel!" Miko argued as she glared at Nick who glared back at her. "And I haven't given up they'll find a way and when they do you'll be back to squashing some bugs!" Miko called out as she glared at Nick who looked away in response. "Tell you what." Miko began as she had an idea. "If they can't pull it off then I will do one thing of your choosing and I can't argue against it." Miko began getting the humans to look. "And a thing about us Japanese we tend to keep our words when able." Miko said as she smirked at Nick. "And if they do pull it off then you and me will go into town and do some shopping." Miko said and thus Jack was surprised by this.
"Is Miko trying to trick a date out of him?" Jack asked as he knew the Bots would pull it off with how much faith he had in them. But the whole Miko having a crush thing was starting to look very likely.
Nick of course didn't see himself failing but he didn't want to have that power over her. But if it got her to leave him alone he will just have to deal with it. "Fine." Nick said and thus Jack was wide eyed by this.
"Did we just enter the Shadow Zone again?" Jack asked as he saw Nick walk off to another part of the base to be alone.
(Meanwhile deep in the Forest)
Arachnid was currently trying to avoid the Cons even now. She had been hearing rumors on Decepticon feeds that Nightbird was back among the Cons. Adding that Radan was also on this planet she knew Megatron won't let anyone but himself rule this planet. Not back during the war in her more reckless and arrogant days Arachnid was an opportunist who had often tried to overthrow Nightbird as Megatrons left hand femme. But each time she tried she failed and ended up thrashed by Nightbird in retaliation and was more often than not left on a medical berth by the former femme gladiator.
Arachnid in her travels had seen what Radan had done too many worlds they conquered and the number of times they got in her way of her hunts. Regardless Arachnid was not one to give up so easily and she wasn't keen on leaving Earth until she got Jack, Arcee, and her newest find Tekkaman Blade. But regardless she rather put as much distance between herself and Nightbird as possible. That was of course until the Scavenger noted something wrong where she was. The forest had gone deathly silent when they're was normally the sound of life forms scurrying around her. As she looked around she knew something had happened around here.
She only seen similar moment when she was hunting for her new pray, and when the Radan shows up, they always seem to scare away any kinds of wild native life by their presents alone, with Arachnid prepares herself for anything as she flex her claw hands a bit with her webbing ready to be use as suddenly there was a lot of movement near her as she fire a large amount of webbing in that area, but it seem to have missed its target when the target itself moved quickly.
More movements came from behind her as she used her legs to turn around quick and swipe at it, only to claw a tree making it fall down loudly after that.
"You have impressive reflexes and abilities, it's must be how you survive for this long, as tell me am I wrong?" a familiar voice echo throughout the forest as Arachnid look around trying to find the source, but she sees nothing and doesn't pick a thing up with her own scanner as she said, "Who's out there? Show yourself."
"I would, if not for the fact you would have just attack me first if I do show myself," Dagger voice spoken in the forest as Arachnid said, "I guess your smarter than any Decepticon or Autobot, but the question is, who are you?"
"You may know me as Tekkaman Dagger," Dagger said as Arachnid soon said, "As in the Radan slave soldiers, right?"
"Correct, but I am more than a slave," Dagger said ad Arachnid give small, "Hm?" before she said to him, "And how did you track me down?"
"I have scouts across the lands watching, keeping an eye on anything they come across, and they found you, or at least the trail you left behind that helped me find you," Dagger said Arachnid soon ask, "And what is it that you want?"
"An offer that you cannot refuse," Dagger said as suddenly the ground around started to shake, then something pop out from the grounds around the femme spider-bot as Arachnid was surprise by this as she saw herself quickly surrounded by Radan forces with more showing up above with dagger said, "IF you don't fight us I promise you, you'll come out alive, but if not then… well do I really need to say it?"
One of the Radan shot a acid spit near her as Arachnid as startled by this as she look to the acid spit itself burning away fast at the wood before she said, "Fine then, what is it that you want from me then?"
Dagger came forth from his hiding spot as he said to her, "To help me take down Tekkaman Blade and settle my revenge once and for all."
"And what else do I get out of this other than my life?" Arachnid said with Dagger asked her, "And what is it that you want then?"
"Some revenge of my own," Arachnid said as she will never forgive on how she lost her ship to Arcee and that human as Dagger said to her, "We could… arrange something."
(Later at Autobots base)
Nick keep waiting in the case, hoping to settle Miko's bet if or when the autobots could not figure out how to get around the whole energy field problem as if they don't it would just keep happening exploding over and over again in the simulation, not like he would do it himself to test it, but when the autobots throw in the towel, he would leave like he planned, hopefully the autobots could win without him.
Raf and Perceptor still working on the whole thing, Jetfire was doing a tune-up for Pegas with ratchet keeping an eye on any activity that would be Decepticon or Radan.
With the other Autobots were taking shift to watch over the base and patrol the around, waiting and preparing for a Fight, and Miko and Jack, they were just hanging out with Nick watching T.V as there was a monster truck event going on with Miko going crazy watching it with bulkhead and Ironhide behind them watching it as well.
"And Big foot making his comeback as he goes for it full speed!" an announcer said on the T.V as Miko said, "Oh yea!"
"Go for it!" Bulkhead said as he cheer out as well, as they saw the BigFoot truck was about to make the jump until the T.V suddenly went static, and very loudly for some reason as Miko was surprise by this with Jack signed in relief as he didn't know how much he could take of Miko and bulkhead's cheering as Miko said, "Hey what's up with this? I thought the channels were supposed to be coming in clear."
"Maybe the network went down?" Jack suggest as Miko try changing the channel, but the other channels were getting the same results as it was nothing but loud static as suddenly everyone's phones were going off as well at the same time which was weird to say as Jack said, "I thought we couldn't get a signal from in here?"
"Weird," Miko said as she saw the caller I.D but it had unknown on it, as they try to answer it, they were suddenly meet with a similar static sound on the other line, then suddenly the coms to the autobots base came to life sending out a static sound as well as everyone was confuse of what was happening as all the Autobots had gathered as Optimus Prime called out, "Ratchet, what is going on here?"
Ratchet was typing fast as he could as he said, "I don't know, but it seem something or someone is sending a signal on all communication and wavelength."
"W-ning to you earth- cyb-… repeat warning to- earthling and Cyber-nian!" a voice suddenly came up on everything as Nick surprise to hear it and knew who it was as he stood up from the couch as he said, "It's Dagger!"
Ratchet try to focus the signal and try to get a clear signal on what Dagger is saying as the static was clearing up as Dagger voice was not clearer than before as he said, "Warning to you Earthling and Cybertronian."
"How is he doing this?" Jack asked with Rafael came up as he already came up with an answer as he said, "It seem he somehow hacking the satellites up in orbit sending a message through everything."
(Orbit)
At a communication satellite as many Radan were over it along with many other that was sending signal to each other to send the message of Dagger as his voice speak throughout everything.
(Decepticon warship)
Soundwave also found the same source where the message was coming from as it was playing throughout the warship as well with Megatron and Nightbird hearing what is going on as Megatron wonder what the Radan is planning.
"You are to hand over Tekkaman Blade to the Radan."
(Autobots base)
"By 1800 hours Pacific time to my coordinates," Dagger said as Ratchet as going fast as he could to trace dagger Coordinates as he said, "I got a lock on his location."
"Wait a moment ratchet," Prime said as he wonder what Dagger would say as he wouldn't send this message without a threat of some sort, and he was right as Dagger soon said, "IF Tekkaman blade isn't given to the Radan alone by then, then I shall drop all of the satellites upon every major city in the world."
Nick tighten his fist to this as the Radan are going too far with their threats as he knew they will follow through with it as Dagger keep on saying, "I say again if Tekkaman blade isn't handed over to the Radan alone at my coordinates by 1800 hours pacific time, then I will drop all of the satellites upon all major city around the world. You have been warned."
Suddenly its stops as everything went back to normal
"He's calling the kid out," Ironhide said as elita-1 soon said, "He knows Nick cannot Transform into his Tekkaman form anymore."
"We need to go there and stop him before he can," Arcee said as Optimus spoken up saying, "We cannot, if we go he may follow through with his threat."
Suddenly the doors to the elevator opens up with fowler walking in no doubt he heard the message to as he said, "Prime! Please tell me that wasn't who I think it was that I just heard a moment ago?
"Afraid so, Tekkaman Dagger that was once known as Fritz had sent us a message," Optimus said as he was worry about the situation as what would the human do at this situation or what could they do as Fowler said, "Well then it going to get worst as I found out more about this fritz character, as his full name is Fritz von Braun, another member of the missing Argos crew."
"Great that would have been good to know like days ago!" Miko called out as right now Fritz was holding Earth hostage unless they gave them Nick.
"There's more it seems Fritz was an expert in satellite communications it's why he was able to hack those satellites so easily." Fowler added until his phone wrong to which he picked it up. "Special Agent Fowler here." Fowler greeted and thus was met with his bosses. "Yes I heard the threat I'm heading over to help with containing the chaos." Fowler said showing he had to go.
"Look Prime I need to leave but we can't and won't let those bugs get the kid." Fowler said and thus he looked to Optimus. "Try to keep him here and keep him from doing anything overly reckless." Fowler urged and thus Optimus understood.
"Understood, go where you are needed Agent Fowler." Optimus said and thus the Liaison to the outside world took his leave knowing that they needed a counter attack of some sort to fight Dagger and Radan.
"Well this is a no brainer." Nick said as he stood up and thus Miko got the gist of it.
"No way, you are NOT giving yourself up to the bugs." Miko said as Nick glared down at Miko.
"I don't have a choice in the matter if I don't show up thousands are going to die. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." Nick said as he knew he had to do it.
Optimus was silent over this as he knew Nick had a point. But there was no guarantee that Dagger and Radan could be held to their word. "We will need time to device a counter attack before the scheduled time." Optimus said and thus looked to the Autobots. "Ratchet continue to monitor Earth's Orbit I wish to be informed if one of the Satellites enter Earth's Atmosphere." Optimus began and thus the medic nodded.
"Of course Optimus." Ratchet said and thus the Prime looked to Ironhide, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee. "Ironhide, Bulkhead, Arcee, and Bumblebee keep a close eye on your human partners." He ordered before turning over to Jetfire and Perceptor. "I need you two to continue working on Pegas and get him completed as soon as possible." He ordered and thus they all understood. "The rest of you will focus on defending the other Tekkaman liberated from Radan and patrols for any Radan activity." Optimus ordered and thus all the Autobots got to work.
When they parted ways Nick walked away a bit no doubt to be alone for a bit knowing their best shot at saving those lives is if he gives himself over to Radan. Regardless this was a call many were currently unwilling to make at the moment.
As everyone got to work Elita approached Optimus with a look of concern. "Orion." Elita began as she looked to Optimus. Understanding what she wanted Optimus followed after Elita so they can speak in private.
(Atop the base)
The two looked upon the land below as Optimus and Elita stood side by side. "He's going to do something reckless you know." Elita said as she looked to Optimus. "He seems to know that the only way to ensure safety for the people of this planet is to sacrifice himself to the enemy." She added while walking a bit with Optimus. "He is much like you in that regard." Elita added and thus Optimus spoke.
"Elita this is why I am seeking an alternative path, I cannot and shall not allow any other so young to make such a sacrifice." Optimus said as he looked to the Femme who still held his Spark and he, hers.
"I know it's simply who you are." Elita said as she then looked to the sun sent. "In all honesty I doubt this was the life that we had envisioned for ourselves." Elita said as she looked to the sunset. "I still remember that Clerk from the Iacon Hall of Records fumbling around his words over a femme of try Cybertronian Beauty yet can do his job better then work his social life." Elita teased as she looked to Optimus who chuckled a bit.
"And I still remember the Dock Worker whom had been able to arise to the head of her warehouse yet complained whenever she is brought a last minute delivery among her closest of friends." Optimus said as Elita chuckled a bit.
"It's good to be back you know all five of us, Ratchet, Ironhide, and Chromia." Elita said as she looked to the horizon. "I remember how Chromia, Ironhide, and I often talked of getting Ratchet a femme so to relive the stress he has upon himself." Elita said as she chuckled a bit. "And I still remember that photo we took together before the war the image of us at Macadams that Ratchet was adamant about not wanting to be a part of." Elita said as she had different images of what she hoped her life would have been like if the war never broke out leaving their planet a lifeless husk.
"Elita..." Optimus began as he knew how she was sometimes. His Spark had sore when he heard her voice and found her alive and well. The old gang was back together after so long and for Optimus it made him truly grateful for this. "If the war had not broken out, if Megatron... if he never let his desire for power rule his life... how would our lives had been." Optimus said and thus Elita had an idea.
"You would still be Orion and I'd still be Ariel and... I could picture us a small home away from it all just the two of us at first..." Elita said as she closed her optics picturing the scene within her Processor. "But it would not be the two of us forever and we'd live a peaceful life away from the troubles of the universe." Elita said as she then opened her optics again to look upon Optimus who smiled to this.
They soon joined servos and stood before each other. Her touch was one Optimus could never forget and in a sense the two of them being here together it felt like a piece of them that had been missing had finally been returned to them. Life never turns out how one plans but they can only hope and make the best of what they have.
(Scene Break that evening)
Nick was sitting next to Miko as they with Jack and Raf were currently watching TV. So far it seems Fowler had used the story that it was an exceptionally skilled hacker who was currently being tracked down. Miko looked like she was about to pass out as she stood next to Nick. The Japanese girl had been staying up to make sure Nick didn't try to make a run for it and had used the opportunity here to relax. But seeing as Nick had put on a softer show the combination of all this began to lull the girl to sleep.
Miko eyes began to drift and tilt her head to the side onto Nick's shoulder as she said with a tired voice, "Why do you…*Yawn! Watch this?"
"Its… been a family favorite that I've been use to watching," Nick said as the show they were watching was 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S' as it been on the air for over 20 years sense its finale and still a classic to watch but not many people would enjoy it like most would.
Miko signed as she said, "Why… couldn't there…be… something more… fun to watch." With that Miko was closing her eyes as she drifted to sleep as Nick sat there for a while, watching the show play out with Miko asleep on his shoulder.
After a while Nick didn't know what is coming over him, as usually he would get annoyed with people hanging on him or lay on him, and the only person that would get away with that was his little sister, but he was relax calm, he wasn't bother by Miko leaning on him and resting her head on his shoulder and he didn't know if it something he missed before or… Miko's maybe growing on him.
After the show soon ended with another episode soon started to play as Nick knew he has to move now, as there was less than half an hour till the deadline that Dagger gave him/
Nick put an arm around Miko, so he can lay her softly on the couch without waking her up, and quietly sneak out of the area as he make his way to the weapon's locker where human would keep their firearms and stuff, but the only thing in there was his guns he gotten from his hometown.
There was a lock on it as Nick saw, signed at this as he look around for something but could not find anything around in the room, so he would have to improvise.
Around the base Nick found a few things to use, a compressed can of air, a Wrench, an old brick from the wall, and Raf's laptop that he would need later, as right now he had a plan.
Holding the can of compressed air upside down and spray it onto the lock, as the liquid freezes around the lock, making it frost over as he keep this up for a minute before the can ran out, while nick quickly switch to the Wrench, using the brick as leverage to press the wrench up on the lock before a loud metal snap was heard.
He froze a bit, watching for anyone to come around if they heard the sound, but after a bit, no one came, so he was in the clear for now as he remove the lock and open the locker, as inside was his guns, as he grab them and load them up with Ammo… that was given to him to use in case of emergency.
While also checking them, he wonder how he would fight Dagger, as he remembers how he shot at him before in his tekkaman form, no doubt he would be still in that form, and the bullets didn't harm him as much and wonder how he could harm him or at least kill him?
He look across from the room he was in as the weapons locker was right next to the energon storage room, as a thought came to his head and quickly rush over to there and filled a few of empty soda bottles with the glowing blue liquid energy and put them in a small pack that he sling around his chest and soon rush out to the ground bridge.
Peeking around the corner as Nick saw Ratchet was typing a few things before he walk away from the super computers with Nick quickly rush over and plug in Raf's laptop and quickly get Dagger's location from. He in turn got the information and saw it was at another familiar area, the old training camp ground for mars colony plans. No doubt the camp was shut down after the loss of Argos ship and its crew.
Dagger knew that area so no doubt he may have a home advantage there. But thankfully so did Nick as well as he knew the place in and out and have an idea where to go.
Soon enough he activated the ground bridge with a timer to close it behind him with one more surprised inside to make sure he was not followed. Once it was opened he quickly rushes out to it and face dagger one last time as either way, one of them was not walking away from this.
Of course the Ground Bridge activation got everyone's attention and even Raf took note of it. "What?" Miko asked and thus saw Nick was gone and began to put the pieces together. As the ground bridge closed up everyone gathered as Optimus came in.
"Ratchet why was the Ground Bridge in use?" Optimus asked and thus Raf spoke up.
"It's Nick Optimus, he used my laptop to open the bridge himself." Raf said as he saw his laptop was currently showing the departure coordinates for the bridge.
"Without Pegas Nick will be left vulnerable to Radan." Perceptor said as this was looking bad for the group.
"Why would the kid go there when he knows its suicide?" Bulkhead asked as he knew Nick was being reckless more so then Miko was known to be.
"Optimus!" Jack called out as he came into the main room. Jack had run off earlier after Nick vanished to the back area to show the broken lock of the weapons locker. "Nick stole some weapons and Energon by the looks of it." Jack said as he saw one of the cubes with the least amount of energon was empty.
"Why would he take the Energon?" Arcee asked and in turn it was Elita who figured it out with wide eyes.
"Because he has no intention of returning alive." Elita realized and thus there was only one thing they can do now. "Autobots I'll take a team in to assist Nick, Dagger said he goes alone, never said anything after he arrived alone." Elita said but then Raf saw something.
"Um Elita I think he suspected that." Raf said and thus he showed his screen which Ratchet checked his own and saw they had a lock sign on it and a timer. "He locked us out." Raf said and knew since the coordinates were not within driving distance he made it so he could not be followed.
"Autobots we must focus on completing Pegas and regaining control of the Ground Bridge." Optimus said and thus Ratchet looked.
"I'll handle the Bridge while Ratchet and Jetfire work on Pegas." Perceptor said as he got to work on defragging and resetting the Ground Bridge.
"Jeez it's like D-Boy wants to die." Miko said and a part of her was worried Nick actually was suicidal. Perceptor was already working on the controls for the Bridge while Jetfire and Ratchet were trying to get through the last bit of coding with Raf.
(Meanwhile with Nick)
Nick arrived on the other side of the bridge where it then shut down behind him. He in turn walked for a good mile before he eventually found himself surrounded by Radan whom were unmoving yet glaring at him waiting to attack. As Nick walked he smirked a bit knowing why they were not moving to attack.
"So I guess the grunts were told to let me pass." Nick said as he walked by them yet still had his hand on the guns just in case he needed them. He wasn't going to take any chances with them. If he can take down Dagger then that destroys the threat of the Satellites from crashing into the Earth. He then stopped and looked to where the Ground Bridge had closed. "Sorry everyone." Nick said as he fully accepted he would very well die here. He didn't have much to live for anyway everyone he cared for was either gone or turned into Radan's slaves. And he had to kill them off once he got to the leader well it would be time for two killers to say goodbye to the universe.
(Back at the Autobot Base)
Ratchet roared out as once more the simulation ended with failure as he tried to figure out what was missing. Everyone was on edge as they tried to regain control of the Ground Bridge but Ratchet was running out of time as was Jetfire. "The material composition is beyond our understanding it's the final push we need to hurdle to give life to Pegas!" Ratchet yelled as he was clearly at his wits end with this.
Ironhide and Moonracer were having similar problems but it was Ironhide who lost his cool. He then roared out transforming his right hand into his mace and smashed it onto a piece of equipment connected to Pegas. "IRONHIDE I NEEDED THAT!" Ratchet yelled as he glared at Ironhide.
"Sorry." Ironhide began until Jetfire noticed something.
"Or perhaps not." Jetfire said and thus when he pointed to the screen Ratchet was working from the data began to rearrange itself and thus it showed exactly what they needed.
"Ironhide you genius!" Ratchet praised and thus looked to the Autobots. "I need one last part to bypass the blockage!" Ratchet ordered and thus he looked to the Autobots.
"What do you need?" Arcee asked and thus Ratchet got to the gruesome part.
"Omega Supremes T-Cog." Ratchet said as this made everyone go wide eye in shock for this.
"Autobot's after much trial and error I had to restart the system completely after uploading the data to an emergency server. The Ground Bridge should in theory be ready within Nano cycle." Perceptor said and thus the Autobots quickly got to work.
(Meanwhile back with Dagger)
Dagger stood atop an old piece of equipment as currently he had his weapon at the ready. His crimson eye flashed to life when he detected that Nick had arrived. "There you are." Dagger said as he glared at Nick who arrived.
Then from the wood line Nick came in with a rifle in his hand ready to start fighting like hell. "Tekkaman Dagger." Nick said as he glared at Dagger who was ready to fight. Dagger didn't waste time on banter as he activated his boosters and charged at Nick weapon at the ready. Nick opened fired on Dagger only for the bullets to bounce off his armor in response. Acting fast Nick jumped out of the way and avoided Daggers attempt at an attack on his person.
Once that was done Dagger hovered for a moment and glared at Nick who rolled away to an old watch post and aimed his gun at Dagger. "I'm surprised you came all the way here instead of trying to flee, Blade." Dagger said as Nick glared at Dagger in pure contempt.
"I didn't have a choice with you holding the planet hostage." Nick said as he glared at Dagger ready to kill him if need be.
"Regardless this will be the last time we ever meet, Blade." Dagger began as he took a battle stance to use against Blade. "You're going to die slowly and painfully for your journey to Hell!" Dagger yelled as he glared at Nick ready to kill the traitor.
'No I'm going to drag you down to Hell with me with a homemade Energon Explosive.' Nick thought to himself as he intended to take Dagger and as many Radan down with him.
(Back with the Autobots)
"Ground Bridge is operational imputing coordinates and activating now!" Ratchet called out and thus they all were ready to move with Optimus in Vehicle Mode with his trailer attached.
Once the Bridge opened it was time to move. "Autobots Transform and Roll out!" Optimus ordered and thus the Autobots were off to assist Nick and hopefully bring him back in one piece.
Seeing them depart Miko looked worried as she looked to the portal. "Come on D-Boy be ok." Miko begged as she didn't want to see Nick get hurt.
(Back with Nick and Dagger)
Dagger charged at Nick only for Nick to break the pillar and after dodging allowing the post to fall and crash down on Dagger. As Nick ran Dagger busted out of the lookout post and with his energy arrow ready began firing it at Nick. Nick of course dodged and rolled away from it guiding Dagger to his little trap.
Nick kept moving as he waited for the smokescreen to form. Of course Dagger had a targeting system thanks to Radan and thus he took aim not at Nick but something that would corner him. He opened fire and thus he hit a gas tank which in turn ignited and exploded knocking Nick back and with it the air out of him.
As Nick sat there for a moment he growled coughing trying to catch his breath as it was clear Dagger had him there. Seeing a fire Nick carefully took the soda bottled filled with Energon that were taped together and had a fuse attached to them. The Gas Tank near him that survived and the fire from the previous blast would hopefully work with the Energon and caused a chain reaction to make an even bigger explosion. When Nick saw Dagger the evil Tekkaman was stalking torts him ready to end this while Nick carefully moved his bomb to the fire.
"What's wrong? Have you grown tired of running away, Blade?" Dagger asked as he glared down upon Nick.
"Sorry I can't let you have too much fun." Nick said as he taunted Dagger on this.
"Well someone is brave." Dagger said and thus began to make his way closer to Nick and got his weapon at the ready. "In that case, I'll grant you your request." Dagger said as he grew closer savoring the kill to come.
'That's right keep getting closer.' Nick thought as the fuse was almost at the fire. But before it could ignite a new sound was heard as laser fire came down from above getting their attention. It was Jetfire as he flew down firing upon Dagger and forcing him to dodge the attack. Next up from the side the Autobots came in with Optimus towing a trailer.
"The Autobots did they actually managed to do it?" Nick asked and just then Elita jumped in with Ironhide and Chromia after they transformed and grabbed Nick.
"Damn you, you deceived me!" Dagger yelled as he glared down upon Nick and the Autobots.
"We got you Elita move!" Ironhide called out and thus Elita nodded and took Nick to Optimus. As they fired Dagger avoided the shots as Radan drones moved in to assist Dagger. Once Elita got Nick to Optimus she opened the back of his trailer and put Nick inside it.
"I do not know what made you take such a reckless action but be fortunate Pegas was completed before the unthinkable could happen." Elita scolded and thus Nick turned when he heard her.
"P-Pegas?!" Nick gasped as he turned to the inside of the trailer to reveal Pegas standing there ready for combat. He was on a platform of sorts as he awaited orders. He was large though not as large as the Autobots he would do since Nick also noted his Tekk-Sett Crystal on Pegas's chest. "With this I can turn into Tekkaman again?" Nick asked as he was shocked to see the Autobots managed to pull it off.
"Nick can you hear me?" Ratchet asked from the trailers speaker via Optimus communications. "Pegas is voice activated so you must make your commands heard." Ratchet said and thus Nick nodded to Ratchet.
"Ratchet." Nick began and thus got Ratchet's attention. "Thank you, all of you." He said and thus no doubt surprised many that he actually thanked them.
(Base)
"Wow did he just say?" Jack asked as he was surprised to hear Nick thank them.
"I'm surprised to." Miko admitted as she looked to Jack.
(Nick)
Nick was in turn ready as he looked to Pegas ready for voice recognition. "Pegas! Tekk-Setter!" Nick invoked and thus Nick's crystal flashed to energized and following it Pegas Eyes flashed to life.
"RODGER!" Pegas invoked and thus his body began to turn thanks to the platform Optimus had. Once he was turned his back port open revealing the interlock chamber for Nick to transform in. All eyes would be on this climactic moment because simulation and actual practice were two different things.
Acting fast Nick jumped into the chamber just as the image of his Tekk-Set Crystal formed inside. Once the chamber closed behind him locking Nick inside Pegas Optimus knew it was time. The trailer then opened up and the feet locks on Pegas feet unlatched freeing the robot from them. His wings spread out as his boosters ignited before he took off to the sky.
As all eyes went to Pegas they were all shocked when his head and the area around it up to the shoulders opened up and from within Tekkaman Blade flew out. As Blade's boosters activated once more he flew next to Pegas who flew by his side before boosting forward. In turn Blade did a backflip spin and then landed on Pegas back before proceeding to draw forth his lancer and taking a battle stance.
In turn his transformation was complete and with it Tekkaman Blade had been reborn. "Tekkaman Blade is back!" Nick no... Tekkaman Blade called out as he was ready to face Dagger and end him once and for all.
Dagger was left in pure shock over what he bore witness too. "Tekkaman Blade?! No that's impossible your powers as Tekkaman should have been destroyed!" Dagger cried out shocked to see that Nick could become Tekkaman once more.
"Pegas has given me new life... no those who helped me even after I kept pushing them all away gave life to Pegas to give life back into me to once more fight Radan!" Blade called out as he glared down upon Dagger whom at one point was a close friend. "I won't let their struggle be for not thus until every Radan has been eliminated." Blade said and thus knew it was time to get serious. "I won't allow myself to die!" Blade yelled and thus he charged into battle against Radan on the back of Pegas. After all every knight space or otherwise needed their noble steed to charge into battler with.
Of course Radan went on the attack but the reborn Tekkaman Blade would not falter. So as the Autobots fought on the ground Tekkaman Blade and Jetfire took the battle to the skies. As they continued to do battle it was clear that Tekkaman Blade was still in top form as he fought his way through Radan.
Dagger snarled as he glared at Blade angry that his plan failed in the end. "I got a clear shot!" Jetfire called out but Blade would not allow it.
"No he's mine!" Blade called out and thus he and Pegas charged at Dagger ready to end him once and for all.
"Damn you Tekkaman Blade!" Dagger roared out in fury and thus fired as many energy arrows at Blade as he can muster. But Blade in response spun his lancer with trained ease blocking the attack from Dagger. Eventually the arrows were switched for explosive ones because when they started to go off they made it look as if Blade was blown up.
As Dagger was about to enjoy his victory his eyes widened in shock as from the blast Blade and Pegas came out. "No... That's impossible!" Dagger cried out in shock as he saw what had happened.
As Blade came torts Dagger he knew it was time to end this once and for all. "This is the end, Dagger." Blade began as he felt a deep sated guilt over what was about to occur. This his shoulder pads opened and thus he began to fire his most powerful weapon. "VOLTEKKA!" Blade invoked and thus fired his weapon at Dagger as he was hit by it. Only this time he didn't have the benefit of escape as Blade could hear as Dagger cried out in agony as he was instantly atomized by the attack.
When the attack ran its course Blade hovered there on Pegas looking to where Dagger once was. As he looked to it he clenched his fist as the agony he felt was deep. The emotional agony of having to end one of his friends and crewmates lives like that. And the worse part Blade knew it was only going to get worse from here on out and it would fall to him to make the hardest decision being the only Tekkaman who has any freewill. But unknown to Blade Omega was aware of what the rogue had done to Dagger.
(Scene Break Moon Tekkaman Omega)
Omega's eyes flashed to life as he sensed the passing of Dagger causing him to chuckle. "Pathetic it was as I expected, Dagger has failed." Omega said as he stood there as he looked to another pod.
"It seems I must send forth a new soldier to the front lines to deal with Blade." Omega said and thus he looked to one particular tekk-set pod in question. "And I know just who to send." He added and thus began to chuckle knowing full well that a family reunion was very much on the way soon. Blade has already killed a friend so it was time to see if he has the nerve to can kill family.
