Tekkaman Prime
ESKK: Well what do you know it's time for chapter 6 so that means it's time for us get to it my faithful readers.
(Start Radan Derelict Ship)
Omega stood upon his throne as he looked down and saw a new Tekkaman kneeling before him. "It pleases me to see you had awoken Evil." Omega said as the black and red Tekkaman kneeled to his commanding Officer.
"I live to serve Radan, Omega." Evil responded as he looked to Omega.
"Good though I had suspected you would awaken first, and I assume you have been aware of the traitor Blade?" Omega asked as Evil smirked to this.
"Trust me no one knows it better than me." Evil said as the way he said it suggested it went beyond treachery for Evil.
"Good, then your mission is clear, Dagger's actions have pushed us back and SHE is not too pleased with these setbacks." Omega said as he glared down upon Evil. "You will depart for Earth and establish a forward command base in the United States. If Earth is to be ready for invasion then we must act." Omega said as he glared at Evil. "Sword, Axe, and Lance will follow suit once they are ready to prepare a base in China, Europe, and Alaska." Omega said and thus Evil moaned in frustration over Lance being mentioned in this discussion.
"With all due respect, Lance has focuses more on his vanity and advancements then the mission as a whole, Dagger had a similar problem but he had better control of it." Evil said seeing that Dagger was no longer among the living as it were.
"Be that as it may they are the only ones whom had successfully completed the augmentations and as for Rapier her fate is still yet to be seen." Omega said and thus Evil stood up in all his glory.
"Very well I will complete this task for the glory of Radan." Evil said but Omega had one warning for Evil.
"Good but remember the mission comes before our vendetta against Blade." Omega warned hoping Evil will comply seeing as he hardly sensed the bug within Evil. It was there and alive but unlike Blade his was hardly active. Perhaps a lack of trying or maybe a lack of needing to try. It was concerning but for the time being they didn't have much in terms of field commanders.
(Space)
From the dark Side of the Moon a crimson beam of light flew out and made its way torts Earth. Its objective was to complete the mission for Radan and kill a traitor... whichever comes first in this regard.
(Scene Break Autobot Base)
Agent Fowler was giving the Bots minus Ironhide and Bulkhead an update on the Radan situation from human perspective. "Well I got good news and bad news for you Prime." Fowler said as he showed images on Ratchet's screens. "The Good news is that we managed to cover up most of the damage old Fritz caused." Fowler said as Optimus listened to what their liaison had to say. "The bad news is that Radan is starting to get the Pentagon on edge." Fowler said as he looked to Optimus and the Autobots.
"How bad is it Agent Fowler?" Elita asked as she looked to the special agent. She shared Optimus opinion on human casualties.
"This bad." Fowler said and thus showed an image of what looked to be a Tekkaman. "Their calling it Sol Teknoman it's a special battle suit armor designed for combat created from the data gathered on Blade." Fowler explained as he showed the data on said suit. "Right now Uncle Sam wants to use this against our bug problem and if all goes well the Cons next." Fowler explained much to everyone's concern on this.
"Agent Fowler we do not know if this new weapon will be able to challenge the Decepticons." Optimus said as he looked to the suit and while he could admit it might stand a chance it was not one he wanted to risk using the humans as its operators.
"Prime we might be dealing with a hostile alien invasion and we can't rely on kids to do this for us." Fowler said as he was not only referring to Nick but also the Tekkaman in the pods the bots managed to secure. "Right now we need to tip the balance because we're outgunned on this." Fowler said as he was clearly not liking this. "The only reason we're not going full death con 1 is because we managed to keep all of this covert." Fowler added and thus Optimus understood.
"Very well Agent Fowler." Optimus said as he looked to Fowler. "Just keep a close eye on Nick and make sure the war stays covert." Fowler said and thus the message was clear.
"Speaking of where is the kid?" Fowler asked as he noticed that only Jack and Raf were here today.
"Owning up to his side of a deal." Moonracer said with a smirk on her face as the Autobots also had plans for today.
(Meanwhile with Nick)
Nick was currently standing in front of Miko's host family's house to pick her up for the date. Now he didn't want to do this and honestly wanted to send the cute girl off but he was a man of his word after all... wait did he just thought her cute? But as if summoned by his thoughts the door opened and from there he saw Miko dressed in an outfit that made his eyes bulge out a bit. He swore it was like the perfect union of punk and sweet as it was hard to describe.
The outside showed the sweet Miko as to lure the unsuspected into a false sense of security. It was a rouse to draw in the unsuspecting victim with the true Miko underneath. "Well cliché but let's face it, you hit the jackpot." Miko flirted and thus she took Nick's arm and dragged him away.
"Wait!" Nick called out but alas she was already dragging him away. Waiting for them was Bulkhead and Ironhide as Nick drove in on the ladder of the two who would act as their chauffer for the evening.
"Not much goes on in Jasper but I do know a place nearby to go to for a date. Got arrested there once." Miko added at the end as Nick sighed until the doors opened.
"Ok get in you two." Ironhide said as Nick would be on the driver side and Miko on the passenger side.
"Oh yeah you don't have car." Miko said as she looked to Nick who shrugged to this. It was then Miko saw the watch Nick had and had to ask. "So what's with the new watch?" She asked looking at the odd looking device.
"Ratchet made it, it will allow me to remain connected to Pegas, I call him and he comes." Nick explained and thus Miko smirked to this.
"Looks like old docbot been watching anime." Miko said as she knew that the concept was straight out of an anime. The two then boarded the Autobot and in turn drove off with Bulkhead following. In the Wreckers case... he worried for Miko a lot so he rather avoid any major harm coming to the excitable human girl.
(Scene Break nearby City)
In a lone clothing store all was quiet and calm. Business was closed by the looks of it but something was stirring. From the back a young man walked out as he fixed his newly acquired leather jacket that he zipped up to cover a sleeveless white shirt underneath, a pair of dark blue jeans, and finally a pair of pitch black combat boots. Looking at himself in the mirror the figure smirked before pulling aside the curtain and walking out.
The Security Cameras were destroyed and the computers were completely destroyed. Passing by the counterperson she didn't respond to this figure taking the clothing without paying. It was then showed why as she fell over revealing that her neck was snapped and by the looks of it she never saw it coming. As he exited the store he calmly joined the crowd outside blending in with ease as he began his own walk with his hands in his coats pockets showing that he had a small chain attached to his belt.
(Meanwhile with Jack and Raf)
Unknown to the duo on a date Jack and Raf were currently seen carrying bags of what looked to be party items. "Got to say this is nice." Jack said as he held some of the heavier stuff.
"Yeah just being normal and setting up a welcome party for the new arrivals and Nick." Raf agreed as they were making sure they got everything before it was time to celebrate. "And this time new fake bot to trick us." Raf said as he still remembered the fiasco with Makeshift pretending to be Wheel jack.
"Thank goodness Miko won that bet and Nick is a man of his word, it should keep him and Ironhide out of the base long enough for us to set up." Jack said as they continued walking. "Let's just hope the other Bots can keep the new guys busy." Jack said as he looked to the group.
"Don't worry Optimus is keeping Elita busy, Bulkhead has Ironhide and soon he will have Chromia to boot. Arcee and Bee are meeting up with Firestar and Moonracer, Perceptor is helping Fowler with some secret project, and Jetfire is on air patrol again." Raf said as this should keep the Bots busy long enough to set up their surprise. Ratchet was surprisingly ok with this, then again Ironhide, Chromia, Ratchet, Optimus, and Elita all known each other for a long time so it made sense he wanted to welcome his three old friends back into the fold.
"Good as long as Ratchet keeps us posted this surprise should go without a hitch." Jack said as he then saw another bit of stuff they would need. "Thank you Fowler for that allowance." Jack said as a moment of calm to rest between battles was what helped kept troop moral high. "Though I wonder what the other Bots are doing." Jack asked as he was curious as to what was going on.
(Scene Break Autobot Base)
Ratchet, Perceptor, and Jetfire were seen gathered in the Autobot base dong maintenance on Pegas and any other major systems about. "Pardon me but you said you had a scraplet infestation and Bulkhead was used as bait to draw them into the frozen tundra?" Perceptor asked as he looked to Ratchet as they did work on Pegas.
"Just about the size of it." Ratchet said as they had been taking time to catch up on recent events. "Though in retrospect it was quiet tame in comparison to most of our situation." Ratchet added as he looked to his fellow big brains.
"Hey you should been there when we had to do some deals with SoundBlaster." Jetfire said as those situation were not his favorite.
"That Criminal Soundwave mimic?" Ratchet asked as he heard of SoundBlaster a failed copy of Soundwave who spawned his own criminal empire on Cybertron. It's noted he hated being compared to his silent double with the Decepticons. "For what reason would you even strike a deal with him of all beings?" Ratchet asked and thus Perceptor sighed.
"We were low in Energon and he had it, thankfully he was neutral enough to trade for it until it went south for us." Perceptor said as the Wrecker continued to do work. "Though we got the Energon he double crossed us in the end." Perceptor added and thus showed they opted to never work with Sounblaster again after that. "By the way I performed some modifications to the Ground Bridge you will find its reach has increased by a 50% margin as well as its fuel efficiency." Perceptor said as Jetfire smirked to this.
"That big brain of yours never stops ticking does it?" Jetfire asked as he looked to his fellow Autobot.
"I do get bored quiet easily when idle at the base keeping my mind working helps me through such times." Perceptor said as he continued to work on his part for Pegas which they were done. "Well maintenance is finished on our small friend here." Perceptor said as he stood up with Jetfire.
"Yes his Energon transfusors are in full operating order but something concerns me about him." Ratchet said as lately he had been detecting odd signals from Pegas. "Lately I have detected almost erratic signals from Pegas and I can't make heads nor tails of it." Ratchet said as he showed the data on the signal in question unaware that Pegas seemed to be observing them intently.
"Perhaps a glitch?" Jetfire asked as he looked at the data.
"Perhaps." Ratchet said as he had no doubt thought of that but that answer didn't sit right for his analytic mind. Whatever was causing this was clearly something of importance he just didn't know how. But as Pegas observed them it was almost like was showing possible signs of sentience on his part but being recently created that possibility was yet to be seen.
(Meanwhile with Optimus and Elita)
Optimus and Elita were see driving down the road together as they cared not for where they may stop only letting their tires lead the way it seems. "I know this is but a small piece of Earth Optimus but it's truly beautiful." Elita said as she drove with the love of her life.
"It is Elita." Optimus said as he drove with Elita as well. "It's for that reason we must protect her people." He said as Elita agreed with Optimus on this.
"I haven't had a drive like this since we were on Cybertron." Elita said as she drove with Optimus. "Though it makes me wish we had gone to Velocitron at least once before the war." Elita said as she even had a small savings for a vacation to the Speed Planet.
"Though I agree you might have enjoyed it I fear I might have not share such sentiments." Optimus said as he wasn't a racer after all.
"So you say." Elita joked a tad before she had an idea. "Optimus this way." Elita said and thus she and Optimus pulled over off a side road to what looked like a farm. As they got to it then proceeded to transform and began making their way to the deserted farm. "It was day out and by the looks of it the Farm had not been used for some time allowing nature to take over in the area.
"What is it Elita?" Optimus asked as he saw Elita stretch a bit once she was on her feet.
"Nothing just wanted to rest my wheels a bit." Elita said as she looked over her shoulder to Optimus almost teasing him a bit. "But this is nice even during a war the troops needs time to rest and relax so we can have our strength to fight the next battle." Elita said to which Optimus agreed to this. "But looking at this place away from it all a place like this that was one of the futures I had imagined for us." Elita said as Optimus felt guilty for that... if he had never met Megatron so long ago writing his speeches then maybe they could have had that future.
"Yes... such a place quiet away from it all... a peaceful life." Optimus said as he then felt Elita's hand in his. He looked and saw Elita smiling to him to which the Prime awkwardly smiled back to him. Her smile even after all this time had not changed and for that Optimus was most grateful for it.
"Optimus... when the war ends... let's find a place just like this live out our days grow old and rest after so many eons of war." Elita said as she wanted that to finally rest and live peacefully. And who knows perhaps a few sparkling's in their future.
"Elita... there is nothing more I would want then that... but." Optimus said only to find a finger to his mouth and in turn Elita looked up at him as the look she had was clear. Yes or yes because if he said no he would be in what humans would call the dog house. "I mean... of course." Optimus said and thus Elita smiled to her beloved.
"I thought as much." Elita said as it was clear she had Optimus Prime like putty in her hands when they were alone. "So are you ready to head on?" Elita asked but Optimus took a minute to enjoy the silence and thus had his answer.
"No not yet a moment longer if you will?" Optimus said and thus she smiled and took Optimus hand again.
"Of course but perhaps sitting may be more comfortable." Elita offered and thus the two headed on and found a spot to sit to which they did so and simply enjoyed the peaceful quiet and with it each other.
(Meanwhile with Bulkhead, Chromia, and Ironhide)
"Now this is a movie!" Bulkhead called out as he, Chromia, and Ironhide were currently in vehicle mode at a drive in theater that was playing a war type movie.
Just then an explosion went off to which Chromia smiled to this "HAH BOOM!" Chromia cheered as she saw the explosion go off on screen
"I didn't realize humans had these sort of movies." Ironhide said as he was enjoying the movie.
"Yeah thank Miko for telling me about them." Bulkhead said and in turn they continued to watch the movie in question.
"That girl has tastes but next time we should try for those monster trucks she goes on about." Chromia said as she was adapting to Earth Culture quiet well it seems. She then laughed as the heroes of the flick began to lead a decisive blow against the villains. "Hey cannons how about we test out some of these movies on the cons see how well they work?" Chromia asked as she looked over to Ironhide while in vehicles form.
"Worth a shot but I don't think Prime or Elita would approve." Ironhide said as he knew the two leaders were kind of stoic at times ever since they became a Prime and got reformatted.
"Hey any word on what Firestar is doing?" Bulkhead asked as he was wondering where she was.
"Meh stuff." Chromia said as she knew how Firestar was at times.
(Over with Firestar)
Firestar was deep in the forest sitting under a waterfall which didn't cover her entire body it seems. She sat cross legged with her optics closed and her servos were linked in a meditative form. She was meditating a practice that had fallen out of use on Cybertron but she still practiced. She sat there calmly until from the shadows Arcee came out and attacked and thus acting fast Firestar moved and blocked the attack with her long sword.
The two continued to do battle as they were oddly enough avoiding any serious harm to each other but begged to question as to why they were doing it. It was an odd form as from the looks of it this was a battle between a samurai and a Kunoichi by human standards. They continued to do so until Arcee managed to disarm Firestar.
Acting fast Firestar went for hand to hand combat forcing Arcee to do the same. They even traded a few blows in until they locked arms. Firestar then kneed Arcee in the gullet before performing a backflip kick to Arcee's chin knocking her down and thus caught her sword as it fell. She then pointed it at Arcee's neck before she could react or so it would seem. As Firestar smirked she then heard guns charging up and saw that Arcee had her blasters trained on Firestar causing her to smirk to this.
"Well Played." Firestar said as she then pulled her sword back and offered her servo to Arcee who gladly took it. "You lasted far longer this time." Firestar said as she smirked to Arcee.
"Well I still got a good number of wins over you Firestar." Arcee said as she was back on her feet once more.
"Not as many as my own Arcee after that last one." Firestar retorted with a smirk at the two wheeler. "So want to try again?" Firestar offered and thus Arcee smirked and in turn attacked once more and thus the two continued their training. A day off is all well and good but many bots tend to spend it in their own ways like what these two Femme's were doing.
(Meanwhile with Bumblebee and Moonracer)
The two were seen playing videos games and more specifically a racing game. "This is fun!" Moonracer called out as she and Bumblebee were neck to neck to which Bee agreed. "So humans have more of these 'games,' besides this racing one?" Moonracer asked as the sniper femme was very much invested in earth culture it seems. Bee responded with his answer and thus Moonracer was even more intrigued.
"Now we HAVE to check it out." Moonracer said only for her to lose the game when her car in it crashed. "Scrap!" Moonracer cursed as her competitive side began to show. Bee laughed a bit and in turn Moonracer glared on him for that. "Hey if this was Velicotron you'd be eating my tailpipe Bee." Moonracer defended as she was no doubt going to demand another round due to this. And thus their second round began with Moonracer determined to win this one.
(Scene Break with Nick and Miko)
With Nick and Miko going around having… some fun as they visit a lot of places and stories, even stop by a fast food place to get something to eat as Miko said, "I swear I will never put chili on a burger as long as I lived. I know it's good on a hotdog, but on a burger, what are people thinking, right D-Boy?"
"I wouldn't know, I never really gotten a chance to have such food before when I was younger, and during training I was keep on a strict diet of process meals and food bars," Nick said with Miko soon ask him, "What were the meal like then?"
"Tasteless mostly, even if they say they're supposed to be filled with nurturance, Vitamins, and protein to keep a human body healthy, while having a long shelf life," Nick said as Miko said to him, "Wow, now I feel bad for you now."
Soon enough as Miko look over to the side and saw a store near them as she said, "Hey look at this place."
Nick stop as he saw the store Miko was looking at and to his surprise to see it was a Kite store of sort, filled with many kinds to the diamond kite, Cellular Kites, and those square kites that came from Japan itself as no doubt that what caught Miko's eyes in the first place.
With Nick he was remember something from his early childhood as he look to a red Delta kite brought him back to when he and his siblings were first trying to fly a kite.
(Flashback)
A young Nick was running as fast as he could while trying to keep his kite airborne, but it keep falling on him so he keep trying and trying until he trips in a hole that was made by moles and landed on the ground rough.
He push himself up with tears coming out of his eyes as his kite just fell near him, as soon enough two other kids came up with kites in their hands, with one kid being Nick's little sister Shara while the other being Cain, nick's twin due to how similar they look as Cain said, "You okay Nick?"
"Are you hurt Nick?" Shara ask out of consider of her big brother, as then an older looking guy who maybe in his late teen or early 20s came up to him, no doubt it was Conrad as he said, "Hey Nick, what wrong?"
"I can't… fly my kite at all! I try running as fast as I can but… it just won't fly," Young nick said as Conrad look to him and pick up his kite as he said to him, "Well you're doing it wrong?"
"I am?" Nick said as Conrad give a nod to his little brother and said, "You see, running may be able to help it get up in the air, but you need to let the air take it up as well."
Conrad soon grab the string handle Nick had with Conrad soon ran across the open field he and his siblings were at as he ran fast while also letting the kite rise up higher and higher until the wind takes, as the Kite soon fly up in the sky with Conrad soon stop by the young Nick, as he look amazed at what Conrad did as he said to Nick, "You see nick you just needed to let the wind take it up until a certain level and let it fly on its own, here take it."
Conrad let Nick hold the pull string again as Nick stood still and let the kite blow around in the air as he smile to this, as soon enough Cain's and Shara kites were flying in the air as well as all three of them were having a good time with their brother Conrad watching over them as they play with their kites.
(End flashback)
Nick smile to this as he remember the fun time he had when his brother showed him how to fly a kite properly as suddenly Miko made him come out of his thoughts as she said, "Pretty boring thing stuff huh? I never really gotten into flying a kite."
"Well… I guess it's not for everyone… but they do have a certain charm to them that not many people realize, and they are fun to fly once you get it down," Nick said as he won't ever forget the time he play with his kite with his siblings.
"Come on." Nick said as he followed after Miko who was at this point dragging him around to have fun.
"Finally." Miko said as she had another reason for leaving the Kites she saw how Nick looked at them and she rather avoid anything that might cause him to have some kind of panic attack. Reason she knows about those things... well long story short Nick mumbles in his sleep.
(Back with Jack and Raf)
"Ok that should do it." Jack said as he and Raf were seeing carrying the party supplies to meet up with the bots. Bumblebee and Bulkhead would split from their partners to meet up with them. Once that was done they start heading over to the Base and start the party. That was of course their plan... until Jack saw Nick passing by him and Raf much to his shock. It took him a moment to realize who it was and thus he looked over to see Nick.
Nick was seen walking away with his hands in his pocket as he went down the escalators to the ground floor. "Hey Nick!" Jack called out only for Nick to seemingly ignore him.
"What's up Jack?" Raf asked a bit ahead as he looked over to Nick.
"I just saw Nick." Jack said as he looked over to Raf who was surprised by this. "I'm sure that was him but when I called him he didn't even respond." Jack said as he looked to where he was sure he saw Nick.
"Wait but isn't Miko supposed to be watching him?" Raf asked confused by this to which Jack shrugged.
"I guess the date didn't turn out so well." Jack offered as he hoped Nick didn't spoilt the surprise for the new arrivals. But something about this didn't sit right with him and for a gloomy guy like Nick to be out and about like that didn't seem in character for him.
(Scene Break Later Autobot Base)
Miko and Nick were the first to arrive with Ironhide and Chromia as they entered the base. It seems most of the others had already arrived on the scene as Jack and Raf with Bumblebee and Arcee were setting up for their little welcome party. Nick and Miko had a surprisingly good time despite Nick's prior desire not to go but it seems like something they may repeat if they get another off day.
"Hey guys date turn sour?" Jack asked as he was taking a small break with Raf when he saw Nick and Miko get out of Ironhide before he transformed into robot mode.
"Huh?" Nick asked as he heard what Jack asked while Chromia entered robot mode next.
"No we actually had a great time believe it or not." Miko said as Raf then cut in on this as he didn't buy it.
"Hey don't deny it guys we saw Nick at the mall walking away." Raf said as Nick was actually suspicious of this scenario.
"Sorry to say this kid but Nick was with Miko the whole time." Ironhide said as he never got a call to pick up Nick till the end.
"Even I can confirm it." Chromia said as she looked to the humans and thus Jack and Raf looked surprised by this while Miko and Nick joined Jack and Raf at the platform.
"I guess we just saw a look alike then." Jack said as he then scratched his head a bit. "It was so weird though that guy looked exactly like you." Jack said only for Nick to go wide eyed to this information.
Then to everyone's surprise Nick grabbed Jack as he had this worried look borderline panicked as he looked to Jack. "Did he really look like me Jack?!" Nick demanded as he caught Jack by surprise with this.
"Yeah he did. Dude what is going on?" Jack asked as he was clearly confused about this.
Nick then let go of Jack as he stumbled back a bit as he was wide eyed by this information. "It can't be." Nick said as he was in pure shock about over this.
(Nearby at an Abandoned Gas Station)
The young man whom Jack and Raf had saw earlier that day the same young man whom had killed that woman sat atop of hill as he looked upon the desert surrounding Jasper Nevada glaring down upon an old gas station. "It's been a long time since I was last on Earth." The young man said as he glared at the world. "It may have changed, but these humans are foolish as ever." The man said as his face was an exact match to Nicks showing that he was in fact Cain Nick's twin brother with the only major difference between them being their eye colors. Nicks was an emerald green but Cain's was a crimson red a clear sign that he was with the Radan.
Nearby Radan were seen depositing Energon as Cain wanted an audience for what was to come and once they took off the cloaking field every Cybertronian on the planet with the proper tools will detect it. Once they did so Cain got to his part of this little family reunion. "Can you sense me, Blade?" Cain asked as the crimson mark of his Tek Set Crystal appeared on his head.
(Back at the Autobot Base)
Nick's eyes widened as suddenly his Emerald Crystals symbol appeared on his own forehead causing Nick to grab it realizing who it was. "Evil." Nick said to himself as no doubt he knew a family reunion was upon them.
"Nick, what's wrong?" Miko asked only to yelp when Nick pushed her back. After that confrontation with the humans and the Tekkaman the bases alarms blared causing the Autobots to move to investigate.
"Exposed Energon and it's not too far from the base." Ratchet said as he looked to the Autobots.
"I know exactly where it is." Nick said as he looked to Ratchet. "It's a Radan Trap." Nick added as he looked to the group.
"How do you know?" Ratchet asked as Nick then looked to Ratchet.
"Because another Tekkaman is there... and he's calling me out." Nick said as he glared for a bit. "I need to show up alone otherwise he'll leave and take the Energon with him." Nick said as he was partially lying in this regard. Optimus saw the lie but also knew this was something Nick needed to do.
"Ratchet open a ground bridge and keep close surveillance on the situation." Optimus said as the Autobots were left surprised.
"Of course." Ratchet said as Arcee had her objections.
"Optimus with all due respect this seems suspicious." Arcee said as the Ground Bridge began to open for Nick to walk through.
"Hence why I want close monitoring of this meeting." Optimus added and thus Arcee got what Optimus meant.
(Decepticon Warship)
Megatron was at the help of his warship with Starscream, Nightbird, and Soundwave whom the later was reporting of exposed Energon. Nightbird was all caught up with recent events and needless to say after hearing her Lords prior state of wellbeing after he had arrived... well Starscream found himself running down the halls like the Doom of Unicron was upon him. Many would have let her do away with Starscream and make her Aircommander if not for the fact Megatron had to hold her back from it.
Megatron valued Nightbirds loyalty to him and the Decepticon Cause but sometimes it proves to be a problem. Sometimes not always because at least she has been more competent then Lugnut who's only a bit less powerful then the duo of Tidal Wave and Fathom. Still Starscream for a time was a competent second in command after Jetfire defected and joined the Autobots the traitor. Megatron often wondered why the competent ones seem to either die first or are after his command. Thankfully Nightbird's additions of Slipstream and herself may bring hope of the Seekers second coming. Starscream did seem to work better with the likes of Skywarp and Thundercracker.
Back to the task at hand Megatron looked and saw what Soundwave was showing them. "Exposed Energon Lord Megatron." Nightbird began as she looked to the Energon.
"Hmm could be an Autobot ambush considering their numbers have grown and the Combaticons are still in Critical." Starscream said as Knockout and Breakdown have been working diligently to help the Combiners recover from their ordeal.
"Or Radan." Nightbird added as she looked to her lord knowing what had occurred to Dagger before. "They have been harvesting Energon as of late but for what reason is still unclear Lord Megatron." Nightbird said as she looked to her one true lord and master awaiting his orders. Soundwave then showed the data he had picked up of an energy entering Earth's Atmosphere and in turn suggesting they might need to look into it.
"If they intent to conquer this world they will answer to me." Megatron said and thus he had his decision made. "Nightbird gather your team, Breakdown, and our troops I will be heading to lead our troops personally greet these interlopers." Megatron said as he had enough of the Radan interfering with his ambitions.
"As you wish Lord Megatron." Nightbird said as Starscream looked and rolled his eyes to this.
As Nightbird left Starscream glared at the Femme as it was only himself and Soundwave now. "Pesky femme." Starscream snarled a bit only to be knocked down when one of Nightbirds throwing stars stabbed him in the head. Not deep enough to kill him but enough to be embedded.
"I heard that Starscream!" Nightbird called from afar showing she will gladly put Starscream in his place if he so tempts her.
Soundwave then made a smiley face on his screen/face and thus Starscream glared at him. "Wipe that grin off your face Soundwave." Starscream snarled and stormed off to carry out his own duties on the Warship and that was supervising the construction of their new Space Bridge.
(Later at the Coordinates)
Cain saw the Ground Bridge open and from it only Nick walked out as Radan had left a good while ago. As Cain was seen sitting atop the abandoned gas station he smirked when he had heard the Ground Bridge that the Autobots used. "Quite a strange place you would choose to live in, Blade." Cain began as he sat there while sand fell through his fingers. "I remember a time where in the summer we often went swimming in the river, flying kites in the field, and fishing by the lake of our home." Cain said as he sat before standing up. "In the winter we would ice skate across the ponds of our town while in spring we would catch fireflies that had come out at night." Cain said as he remembered those gentler kinder times.
"But we Radan will have little need for such things soon, for when the invasion occurs this world shall also become Radan isn't that right, Blade." Cain said as he looked to where Nick stood glaring at his brother in contempt.
"I really wished it wasn't you Cain I honestly wish that you weren't the one I would face that you weren't Tekkaman Evil." Nick said as he glared at his twin brother knowing what would need to occur. It's, one thing to kill a close friend turned slave soldier it was another thing to kill a family member turned into a slave soldier with no free will of his own.
"Heh." Cain said as he then jumped down and stood across from his twin brother. "Such a heartfelt family reunion." Evil said as he sounded like he hoped they would catch up before they have to fight.
"Why did you come to Earth?!" Nick asked cutting straight to the point.
"To eliminate the traitor of course." Cain said as he had his hands in his pocket. "What other reason would I have?" Cain said as he looked to Nick.
"And the Energon?" Nick asked as he glared at Cain wanting answers.
"Radan wants to know what they are dealing with in terms of Autobots and Decepticons, I don't question it." Cain said as he looked to his twin brother who had his fists clenched showing he was ready to fight if need be.
"Evil... so there's no way, is there?" Nick asked as his question while vague also had a point. "There's no way you'll stop your assault on Earth?" Nick asked and thus his question was made clear.
"Is has to be done if we Radan are to survive." Cain said as he looked to Nick. "Survival of the fittest is the very foundation of all civilizations." Cain said as he looked to Nick waiting his response to this.
"But Earth is our home! You, me, and the other Tekkaman of the Argo crew we were all humans at one point too!" Nick argued as he looked to his brother hoping he can save him without killing him.
"No, we're Radan!" Cain argued as he looked to Nick. "As long as we're Radan... it stands to reason we should fight in their name and who knows if our loyal enough the Earth will be ours to rule." Cain said as the way he said it Nick swore it sounded like what this Megatron would possibly said based on the stories he heard about the Decepticon Warlord. "You're the traitor to your own kind Nick by siding with the humans!" Cain said as he pointed an accusing finger at his brother.
"Evil." Nick said as he glared at his brother.
"Don't you agree, big brother Nick." Cain said as he showed Nick was the older twin between them. "If we play our cards right Earth could become a haven for Tekkaman like you and me." Cain said as he went on with this. "The human who remain would be under our protection not just from Radan but from themselves." Cain said as Nick didn't like how that sounded.
"By serving us?" Nick added to which Cain grew silent and thus Nick got the memo. "Cain... Freedom is the right of all sentient life." Nick said as he quoted Optimus in this regard even though he knew that a fight was about to break out. He also knew the bots were listening in through the communication link in his watch connected to Pegas and would be here at any second.
"So I see then." Cain said as he saw there was no way to convince Nick to side with him against the humans. In turn Cain drew his Tekk Set Crystal and thus knew what came next. "TEKK-SETTER!" Cain invoked and thus he transformed in a flash of light as the wings on his crystal spread out to form the transformation field. Soon enough standing atop the nearby oil driller glaring down at Nick in his new form. With armor of black and red he glared at the traitor to Radan clearly ready for battle as this was none other than Tekkaman Evil.
"Now go to hell, Blade!" Evil roared out spinning his weapon before throwing it at Nick.
Nick acted fast and managed a back flip to avoid it. While crouched down he activated the watch to call his mighty friend. "Pegas!" Nick called out into the watch and thus knew the signal was received.
(Autobot Base)'
The Tekk-Set Crystal on Pegas flashed to life before Pegas Eyes followed. "ROGER." Pegas responded and thus was ready to move. In turn he was freed of his restrained and began preparing for launch to assist Blade.
"Ratchet open the ground bridge, Autobots prepare to roll out!" Optimus ordered and thus as they got ready Ratchet prepped the Bridge.
Seeing this play out Miko got worried and thus looked to the others for some confirmation Nick was going to be ok. When Jack and Raf had none to give her only hope was that Nick pulled through this in one piece somehow.
(Battle)
Evil roared out and swung his weapon down upon Nick who quickly moved out of the way to avoid the attack. As Nick avoided the attacks Evil was pushing Nick to a corner and soon got him there. Nick roared out and struck at Nick who acted and rolled out of the way causing a deep gash to appear in the stone wall.
But before their one sided battle could continue thrusters were heard and from above the duo saw the forms of Megatron, Nightbird, and Slipstream appear followed by a Ground Bridge which produced Shadowstriker, Thunderblast, and among the arriving Decepticons was a large blue Con who had an eye patch over his right eye. Both groups had also been accompanied by a small battalion of Vehicon Troopers for land and sky battles.
"Cybertronians." Evil said as he glared at the new arrivals for interfering.
"One of the Insects slaves." Megatron greeted as he glared at Evil. "Leave now and inform your masters that this world belongs to Megatron." Megatron ordered as he glared at the foe before him.
"Sorry but that will not be the case, Lord Megatron." Evil said as the words left him in a mocking tone which angered Nightbird. "Now if you will excuse me I have other matters to attend to." Evil said as he directed his attention over to Nick.
"How dare you speak to Lord Megatron with such slight cur?!" Nightbird yelled ready to attack only to be stopped by Megatron. Megatron had to admit this Tekkaman has his focus on one goal and if he were anyone else he might have considered allowing him such pleasures but no one denied Megatron and lives to tell about it.
But before Megatron could give the order the sound of a Ground Bridge was heard and from it Pegas flew out firing his guns at Evil forcing the Radan Tekkaman back from it. Following it up was the Autobots as they charged into battle to save Nick and handle the Decepticons.
"Autobots attack!" Optimus ordered as Pegas flew around to where Nick was after managing to force Evil back. Seeing this Megatron snarled and charged at Optimus and thus the two leaders began their clash once more.
"Pegas!" Nick called out as he saw Pegas flying about. "TEKK-SETTER!" Nick invoked and thus Pegas understood and landed in front of Nick with his back to the boy.
"ROGER!" Pegas responded and thus opened his Interlock chamber for Nick to use. Once Nick jumped in and the chamber closed behind him it didn't take long for Pegas second hatch to open and from it Tekkaman Blade shot out. Once he was out Blade drew his lancer and thus was ready for battle against Evil.
"Now that's more like it!" Evil called out with his eyes flashing red no doubt wanting to win this honorably hence why he allowed Nick to transform into Tekkaman. The two then charged at each other and proceeded to clash against each other intent on besting each other.
(Meanwhile Autobots vs Decepticons)
The Decepticons fired upon the Autobots as they ran for cover and in turn went to return fire. Nightbird of course lead the charge and in turn went for the attack. During this Elita went for Nightbird and thus the two femme leaders went at it. As they fought they quickly managed a punch to each other's face before knocking each other back.
Nearby Ironhide and Bulkhead went for Breakdown and began a brawl of brute strength with them. When Bulkhead had Breakdown pinned Ironhide fired his cannons at Breakdown forcing him to back off Bulkhead and get smacked around by Bulkheads mace. In the sky Jetfire was alone as he was fighting off Slipstream and the fliers in the sky as they continued to do battle against each other.
On the ground Bumblebee and Moonracer went against Shadowstriker as the two youngest bots fought against the mismatched Decepticon. She was holding her own quiet well as she continued to fight the two bots. Nearby Firestorm was swinging her blade at Thunderblast who kept her distance and fired her blasters at the Autobot sword wielder while Arcee had her back with this. As they continued to do battle Optimus and Megatron glared at each other with increased contempt for the other.
Despite this Optimus had overheard Cain and Nick's talk prior to this. The startling similarities, the charisma in Cain, the belief in Nick it was as if history was repeating itself in the humans. Megatron had also listened in via Soundwave and Laserbeak and had similar thoughts to Optimus whose optics showed the truth in them.
"Humorous isn't it Optimus?" Megatron asked as he looked at his oldest enemy after they parted. Optimus in turn began to fire at Megatron with his blasters only for Megatron to slash through them with his sword. "That boy Blade and his own brother Evil brothers turned enemies reminds you of someone doesn't it?" Megatron taunted as he looked to Optimus before they once more locked blades against each other.
Upon hearing those words Optimus glanced over and saw Blade and Evil fighting each other twin brothers trying to end the life of the other. Optimus and Megatron then pulled back and clashed blades once more glaring at each other with contempt. "The boys actions are not his own!" Optimus countered knowing what Radan tends to do.
Megatron though saw otherwise as he knew Evil's sort. Back on Cybertron before the war when he joined the political arena Megatron learned how to read people and thus more often than not it helped with his Charisma. After all what better way to get their people to join his cause then to say exactly what they want to hear? With this knowledge Megatron knew that Evil had greater ambitions and he believed that Radan may have brought them to the surface without even realizing it. If he was not human Megatron would have had him on his side by now but fate can be fickle at times.
"Are they Optimus or did Radan simply bring to fore what was always there?" Megatron taunted as he looked to his old enemy grinning sinisterly at him.
"Freedom is the right of all sentient life Megatron, and I refuse to believe that Cain truly is lost to his brother." Optimus said but even though he said this he saw the startling contrasts that it was frightening. He knew humans while a young race were similar to Cybertronians in many regards. This alone raised a number of red flags for the Autobot leader that he did not wish to acknowledge. But as he saw Blade and Evil due battle he was in turn reminded of himself and Megatron when he had become Optimus and in turn leader of the Autobots as they fought against Megatron and the Decepticons. If history was repeating itself through those two he feared the Earth may share Cybertron's fate in one way or another.
(Blade vs Evil)
The two Tekkaman flew about as they continued to do battle against each other. As the two landed Evil took note to something as they continued to do battle. Blade wasn't fighting at his full strength in fact it was almost like he was consciously or perhaps unconsciously holding back against Evil. This fact if true served to frustrate Evil as he didn't want to beat Blade unless he was going all out against him and vice-versa. With a battle cry Evil swung his weapon down upon Blade only for Blade to dodge it but Evil followed it up with a jab to Blade's Shoulder which landed and sent Blade tumbling back for it. Once this was done Blade was trying to catch his breath as he glared at Evil for this action.
"What's the matter, Blade? You're leaving yourself wide open." Evil asked as he glared at his brother who simply glared back at Evil. Evil then charged at Blade only to be stopped by Blade blocking the attack from his twin brother. "You shouldn't try so hard to be human it leaves you vulnerable." Evil said as he looked to his brother hoping to edge him on into fighting back with the intent to kill. Evil then forced Blade back before he brute charged him using his thrusters for added speed and force. Once Blade was hit Evil pushed Blade until he crashed into the building nearby and in turn knocking him down. Once that was done Blade was pinned down by Evil who then roared out and jabbed his sword straight for Blade. The Result was Blade moving his head and avoiding the attack before he kicked Evil off of him and saw him land safely not too far away from him.
Blade then threw one of his bladed boomerangs at Evil who dodged it and allowed it to slash up the objects behind him destroying it instantly. Once this was done Evil laughed a bit as he looked to his brother impressed with what he managed to do. "Yes brother that's more like it, it's starting to feel like a real battle now." Evil said as he glared upon Blade happy to see him taking this seriously as opposed to before when they started.
They continued to battle each other as weapons were swung against the other both trying to get the upper hand in this struggle. As they fought Evil could not help but enjoy the act of facing against his twin brother his one and only equal in their shared existence. It's funny brother." Evil began as they had charged and began to fly while their blades when met grinded against each other struggling to overpower the other. "You and I once shared our mother's womb, it's fitting that we now fight each other." Evil said as he was almost smiling at his twin brother. "It almost feels as if you are fighting yourself." Evil added as they continued their duel against each other.
Blade glare at evil as they fought, before the two broke apart quickly as Blade prepared his next attack as he ready his weapon and throw it at Evil, as the black Tekkaman dodge it at the last moment with ease as Blade's weapon was soon stuck in a wall, with Blade use his cable to latch onto his weapon to bring it back, but at the last moment, Evil came in and slash the cable leaving Blade weaponless.
Evil grab hold of Blade's weapon before tossing it to the ground and stomp on it hard before Evil said to his brother, "You and I are twins what was once one... split into two separate beings. Whoever wins this battle should be the one to live on"
Evil eye's glare through his helmet as he looks at Blade for this before he used his thruster to charge forward and yells out at his brother, "If one of us survives, that is!"
With Evil nearly stabbing Blade through, the white Tekkaman dodge it and grab the weapon at the last moment as he skid back by the force of his brother pushing at him before putting his feet down and lifted evil up, and throwing him through the wall of the gas station while holding Evil's weapon.
He throw it away as evil came out of the building and punch Blade in the gun, pushing him into huge boulders that was near them, with Blade break out from them and about to fight again with evil prepared himself… until suddenly Blade started to act weird.
Evil stops for a moment seeing his brother who seem to be in pain as he said, "Blade?" as the white Tekkaman turn around showing his gem on his head was flashing, no doubt h has reach his limits.
Evil observe Blade as he was struggling to remain in control of himself as the dark brother laughs at this as he said, "I've found you our, blade, Now I know what your Achilles heel is!"
Blade soon try to run away from evil as he use his thrusters can gotten out of the area they were in but evil follow him regardless.
He soon landed near the area the Autobots were fighting the Decepticons as they suddenly notice Nick has reach his limits as Arcee Ironhide said, "Kid!"
"He's reached his limit!" Arcee called out as she looked and saw that the gem on his head was flashing. As Blade struggled the flashing was growing both louder and faster as it was clear that Blade was about to lose himself to the monster that was Tekkaman.
Evil glared down upon Blade as he looked ready to fight more but stopped himself. Something about this sort of victory didn't seem right but alas orders were orders. So as he began to approach Blade to end him he was soon fired upon from the sky. Evil looked and saw that Jetfire was flying in after separating from Slipstream and the seekers to assist Blade.
"Nick get to Pegas hurry!" Jetfire called out knowing if Nick didn't do so he was as good as dead.
As this happened Evil knew it was time for him to depart regardless. After all killing him as he currently was would leave Evil with no true victory and furthermore he wanted to see what Nick would do if the time limit reached its absolute limit. "It seems the 'Autobots,' have come to retrieve you Nick." Evil said before chuckling a bit in response to this. "Regardless I've just been struck with a brilliant idea so I'll be calling this a day." Evil said as he then activated his boosters and flew off where he was then met with a Radan flier.
AS Tekkaman laid there he knew he had little time to act. "P-Pegas." Nick said as he soon saw Pegas arrive for him and waited his next command. "Stop the Tek-Sett open the interlock chamber." Nick said and thus Pegas understood.
"ROGER." Pegas said before using his boosters to turn around and thus allow Nick to jump in. As Evil flew off Optimus knew it was time to retreat and thus made the call.
"Autobots fall back!" Optimus ordered and thus they all got moving.
The Cons continued to attack the Autobots as soon a Ground Bridge opened for them. Seeing This the Cons moved in to stop them but Ironhide acted and fired his cannons while Bulkhead threw a grenade. The two attack collided and made a large explosion which acted as a smokescreen for the Autobots. Pegas was the first to enter the ground bridge followed by the other Autobots before it vanished.
Once it did Megatron stood there for a moment as Nightbird was angry. "They got away!" Nightbird roared as she was not happy about this.
"Calm yourself Nightbird." Megatron said as he smirked to her. "Evil is not the only one who has learned the weakness of the Autobots pet Tekkaman." Megatron said as he knew this would come in handy if used properly but first they needed to see exactly what would happen should the Tekkaman fully lose control.
(Back at Base)
Once the Autobots returned Pegas opened his interlock chamber and thus allowed for Nick to exit it and stumbled into the arms of the human allies of the Autobots. "Easy buddy we got you." Jack said as he looked to Nick as Nick grew quiet.
"Who was that guy Nick?" Raf asked with concern over what had just occurred but Nick still did not respond.
"Come on D-Boy say something." Miko said as she looked to Nick. "D-Boy!" Miko added as she wanted Nick to respond but so far got no answer from him.
Meanwhile Optimus looked to Nick with great concern knowing exactly what he was going through. Megatron was once one whom he could call brother long ago until his pride, arrogance, and lust for power warped him beyond reconciliation. But now Nick had to undergo an even greater Trial then he knew can Nick truly find a way to save his brother... or will he be forced to strike down said brother for the safety of this Earth. He knew that whatever the outcome would be between Nick and Cain was that between both Blade and Evil one shall stand and one shall fall.
