Tekkaman Prime
ESKK: Well here we go sorry about cutting the chapter in two it was starting to get too long and I didn't want to take chances. So here we go time to see what's next in this mini arc. BTW until Smokescreen these Bots are the last ones to show up for a good long while. Now then let's get started.
(Start Jasper Nevada Mountain Top)
Jack and Sierra were helping Lifeline and Jazz get some vehicle scans as they hid on a large stone. The group were seen watching cars drive by on the highway down below from where they were hiding to help keep the Autobots a secret to the people of this world. "Nope." Jazz said as he saw a particular car drive by that he did not want.
"Meh I'm with Jazz on that one." Lifeline said as she agreed with Jazz's assessment. Now while she wasn't one for spinning rims, even she had standards.
"How about that one?" Sierra asked as she saw a bug drive by.
"Sorry not really my sort of thing." Lifeline said as the car drive by.
"Muscle car anyone?" Jack said as he saw a muscle car driving by suspecting it may be Vince's car judging by the hot rod flames.
"Nope!" Both Autobots called out as they saw the car drive by.
"You guys should have been here for the Auto Show car scans as far as the eye can see." Sierra said as she knew the cars were where the others got their scans from.
"Welcome to Jasper." Jack said as he and Sierra were here to help the two Bots get their vehicle scans.
"So Jack." Sierra began as she looked over to Jack. "I think we've all noticed that Nick and Shara are having a sibling squabble." Sierra said as she looked to Jack.
"Yeah Nick's been talking about it." Jack admitted as he figured Shara must have talked to Sierra about it.
"And I'm guessing he has no clue what's really gotten under her skin." Sierra said as she rolled over to her back to look at the sky a bit.
"Two for one." Jack said as he looked over to Sierra.
"Well I think I know what's going on but after all that had happened to him I can see why it would be a problem." Sierra said as she then sighed a bit. "But that doesn't mean he needs to let his fear control him either." Sierra added as Jack was now confused.
"Wait what's going on?" Jack asked as Sierra then rolled her eyes a bit.
"Shara feels smothered and more so she feels Nick doesn't trust her." Sierra said as she looked to Jack from her spot.
"Wait what then why didn't she say so?" Jack asked as she figured Nick wasn't told this either.
"Jack first rule of handling a woman, rarely do we ever say what we mean." Sierra said as she smiled playfully to Jack.
"What then why don't you." Jack tried to reason but had nothing causing Sierra to smirk a bit.
"Someday Jackie you'll understand at least a fraction of what goes on in our heads." Sierra teased as Jack felt like he just got had there.
"Jeez." Jack sighed as he laid there to help the new bots scan for modes.
(Later with Shara)
"Why does he have to act like I'm some fragile glass doll!" Shara called as the Techno-Organic Tekkaman was nursing a glass of juice as she sat with June and Agent Witwicki.
"Well, you were dying before." Mikayla said as she rubbed her eyes dreading when HER's gets to his teenage years.
"Yes, I WAS as in past tense!" Shara snapped a bit before calming herself some. "Sorry." She apologized unaware to see Elita was walking by. "I just don't understand why he doesn't trust me." Shara said but in turn Elita walked in.
"He does trust you, Shara." Elita said as she walked over to Shara. "The problem is you won't tell him how you feel." Elita said offering to Shara pearls of wisdom since the girl carries part of her own spark inside her.
"Oh yeah how would you know?" Shara asked as she pouted a bit.
"It's because Optimus and I had a few similar close calls back on Cybertron." Elita said as she remembered how it was. "After the explosion that had me reformatted Optimus was constantly asking for me for my well-being and worried I was not yet combat able." Elita said as she remembered how Optimus was back then. "It was only after I put my tread down and talked to him told him what I was feeling did he listen." Elita said as she looked to Shara.
"I don't, exactly know what." Shara began but June cut her off there.
"What Elita means is that you need to talk to him not dance around the subject." June said as she looked to Shara. "Sweetie Nick would no doubt value honesty more than dancing around words trying to figure out what you are actually saying." June said as she looked to Shara. "Just go up to him and talk to him." June said as she looked to Shara.
"Besides he's your brother and growing up with three of them they may grate on your nerves they still care about you in their own way." Mikayla said adding her two cents in and thus Shara sighed to this.
(Meanwhile on the Nemesis)
"Soundwave where is Nightbird?" Megatron asked as he entered the command deck of the ship.
Soundwave looked over to his lord and master and played back Nightbirds last update. "Arachnid is up to something I'm in pursuit maintain radio silence." Soundwave said using a recording of Nightbirds voice to do so.
"I see." Megatron said as he knew her team had returned not too long ago. After the Autobots had tried purging their fallen vessel of any sensitive data the troops on sight salvaged what bits of it they could. Thankfully they learned what the ship was carrying and thus knew they had to acquire the Energon Stars before the Autobots did. Those performance boosters had been a nuisance during the War for Cybertron and upon learning it was on Earth he imagined what using Dark Energon as the primary component would do for them.
Regardless Nightbird was wise to be suspicious of Arachnid's actions. Megatron was no fool he knew Arachnid was marooned on Earth hence why she had rejoined their ranks. Arachnid needed a ship to get off this planet and Megatron was the only one with a ship and a crew to operate it. Nightbird made the correct choice to chase after Arachnid no doubt suspecting the femme to be up to something and thus Megatron allowed it.
"Soundwave contact our armored 'friends,' I may have need of their aid." Megatron ordered and thus Soundwave got to work once more.
(Later back at the base)
Ratchet and Perceptor were both hard at work repairing and recovering the data they had taken from the ship. It was an easy fix and after doing fly overs of the crash site they managed to narrow down the exact location of the ship's other half. So it came as no surprised when a blip appeared on the screen and thus Ratchet turned to the others. "We have located the Exodus other half." Ratchet said as Perceptor nodded to this just as Jazz and Lifeline returned from scanning for Vehicle Modes.
"After careful examination of the crash site we have deduced that the Exodus had suffered damage that gave way while in the sky splitting it in two." Perceptor said as he looked to those gathered. "Thus, using the Energon Stars unique energy signature and the data of the crash to track it down deducing its location had been but a simple matter." Perceptor said much to the Autobots joy on this.
"Autobots prepare to mobilize." Optimus said and in turn they all got ready to move.
"How can I help?" Lifeline asked as the medic caught Optimus attention as well as Elita's.
"Lifeline due to your limited field experience I believe further training is required before allowing you into battle." Elita said as she looked to Lifeline. "While having a field medic is well and good." Elita began when she noticed Lifeline about to protest. "You are still young and most injuries you have dealt with have been minor in nature, young one." Elita said putting a comforting hand on Lifeline's shoulder.
"I... understood." Lifeline said seeing no way to argue her way to the battle.
(Meanwhile with Arachnid)
Arachnid transformed upon arriving at a cliff that overlooked the ocean and looked around. "The other half of the crash should be around here." Arachnid said as she looked around before looking to her treads. "Or maybe it's under my feet." She said before activating her spider legs and thus began to burrow her way underground.
Once that was done Nightbird flew in and transformed to robot mode and smirked a bit. "Soundwave lock on to these coordinates and send in more troops I believe we have found the Energon Stars." Nightbird said before she proceeded to give chase to Arachnid.
(Inside the Exodus)
Arachnid was going through the ship's cargo area making quick work of the doors as she travelled through them. One by one she opened the cargo vaults unaware she was being followed. Eventually she found it as she smiled and pulled out a case which she then opened. "There you are precious." Arachnid said before she opened the case to see what was inside. Glowing and illuminating her face were the Energon Stars ripe for the taking as she then grinned a bit. But after she closed the case Nightbird was right behind her and the shadow she casted caught Arachnid's attention.
Turning around Arachnid's face was grabbed and thus the femme was thrown out the door by her Commanding Officer. "Would you like to explain to me while you deserted, you're post." Nightbird snarled as she glared at Arachnid and spoke in a tone that dared her to try to lie to her.
Arachnid was wide eyed when she saw Nightbird was here which of course caused her to panic a bit. "Oh commander I had went out to secure the Energon Stars." Arachnid said as she was no doubt worried Nightbird would not buy it.
"Funny." Nightbird said as she pushed Arachnid aside and took the case. "Because I had not made any order to do so." Nightbird said as she glared at Arachnid for a moment.
"I only did what was best for them." Arachnid began only to find one of Nightbirds treads slammed into her face pushing her against the wall.
"What you were doing was trying to take the Energon Stars for yourself an action which I had anticipated." Nightbird said as she glared down upon Arachnid who gritted her teeth to this but endured as best she could. "Soundwave we are in need of an extraction team." Nightbird requesting and thus hung up knowing Soundwave was on the case. Just then Nightbird head something and in turn narrowed her optics to this event. "Might want to make that reinforcements." Nightbird said and thus she knew what this meant for them.
(Back on the Surface)
A ground bridge opened and from it the Autobots departed as Optimus lead the charge once more. AS they made sure the area was clear they saw no sign of the Decepticons in the area and in turn Elita spoke up. "Clear." Elita said as she holstered her blaster a bit.
"Looks like we weren't the first ones to this party." Jazz said as he saw the hole that Arachnid had dug.
"And I know who made it here first." Arcee growled as she glared at the hole in question. But before anyone could make movement on it the sound of thrusters were heard inside it and then to the Autobots surprise Nightbird flew out in robot mode and flew skyward with blaster fire on her.
"Arielbots on me!" Jetfire called out and in turn Jetfire and the other Autobot fliers transformed and took off after Nightbird. The Autobots fliers began to chase after Nightbird who saw them chase after her. As she flew about Nightbird could easily see she was outnumbered and thus began to fly about to keep the fliers on her.
"Well looks like the Autobots now have aerial advantage now, alas they lack a combiner or a triple changer." Nightbird scoffed as she flew about. The Autobots began to open fire on her as no doubt she had the Energon Stars with her while making her escape. She then flew upward as the Autobot fliers gave chase while trying to surround her. But just then Nightbird transformed back into robot mode and proceeded to open fire on the Autobots while free falling. Jetfire and his team were forced to avoid it only for Nightbird to return to robot mode and continue to fly off keeping one step ahead of the Autobots at all times.
Back on the ground Elita saw this and knew Nightbird would not have acted without her own troops. Just then Elita remembered the hole and in turn looked to the ground. "Autobots scatter!" Elita called out and thus the ground rumbled just before Arachnid came out to attack. Making her escape Arachnid drew the fire of the Autobots towards her as Arcee glared and fired at her nemesis without end. Just then a ground bridge opened and from it Slipstream came out followed by Shadowstriker, Thunderblast, Breakdown, and the Combaticons. Coming through the Ground Bridge with the Decepticons were a battalion of Vehicon Troopers all of them fliers this time around.
"Boss bot I think this party is an ambush." Jazz said as the Autobot officer had his guns ready.
"Autobots get to cover!" Optimus called out his order as the Autobots fell back save for Arcee who went after the snickering Arachnid.
"Arcee get to cover now!" Elita ordered and for a second Arcee looked ready to break rank but this time followed Elita's orders. As the Autobots got to cover and thus began the fire fight with the Autobots attempting to get to the Energon Stars. Come back down from above Nightbird flew to her troops and when she got close the Decepticon Seekers transformed and went after the Autobot fliers who were force to pull out.
"Jetfire report!" Optimus called as he hid behind cover with his fellow Autobots.
"By the looks of things up here Prime we're out numbered!" Jetfire called out as he led the ariel bots through this dog fight.
"Um Commander we have a problem!" Wingsaber was heard and thus the Autobots looked and saw Radan began to descend upon the area with Tekkaman Evil, Sword, Axe, and Lance leading the charge.
"Scrap." Jazz called out and thus knew they were out gunned.
Nightbird laughed a bit as she held the case in her hand and proceeded to open it. Once she did she saw the Energon Stars and proceeded to take one out. "Well Autobots!" Nightbird called out as she held the Energon Star in her servo. "Let's see how you like being on the receiving end of your own booster!" Nightbird called out and thus to the shock of many equipped it and smirked as she felt its power surging through her. Elita glared and began to open fire upon Nightbird who began to lead the charge.
Much to the shock of many the blaster fire bounced off the Decepticon Femme due to the Energon Star producing a protective barrier around its user during its time of active use. Jazz then glared and began to move to hopefully give the Bots time to move.
"Prime I'm gonna draw their fire hurry and move to better odds." Jazz called out and thus Hound smirked to this.
"Right behind you!" Hound called out no doubt to give Jazz cover.
"Same here." Ironhide said with his cannons ready to fire. Seeing what Jazz planned to do Optimus allowed it and thus the Autobots got moving.
"Come on you slag come get me!" Jazz called out as he ran at Nightbird who was being riddled by laser fire curtesy of Jazz and Hound. During this the Autobots were moving to a safer location while Nightbird scoffed at them.
In turn the Combaticons saw this and began to move in. "Combaticons with me form into Bruticus!" Onslaught called out and in turn things went from bad to worse for the Autobots. From nearby Moonracer saw what the Combaticons were doing and began to fire at them with Ironhide, Jazz, and Hound doing the same. As they fired upon the Combaticons their attempt did nothing as soon Bruticus was once more in the battle.
"Scrap!" Jazz cursed and thus he and the two Wreckers began to fall back. In turn the Autobots were thankful for the quick thinking of the trio as they now had some distance between themselves and Bruticus save for Jazz. As Jazz, Hound, and Ironhide fell back Bruticus aimed one of his cannons at them and shot it off. The result was a massive explosion which knocked the three away from it leaving a small dust cloud from it. Jazz was then heard crying out in pain as much to Ironhide's shock the blast blew off one of Jazz's legs. Adding to the leg it seems Jazz took a few major hits from it as well as he was hurt bad.
"Bot down! Bot Down!" Ironhide called out and thus grabbed Jazz and his missing leg to fall back with.
"Move I'll cover you!" Hound called out and thus opened fire on the Decepticons once more. Evil and the Tekkaman opened fire upon the Autobots aiding the Radan in this fight as best they could and so far were making the fight an easy one. As Evil saw this he looked around and saw that Blade was missing as was his posy of renegade Tekkaman.
(Back at the base)
"Ratchet we got a Bot down, its Jazz he's hurt bad!" Hound was heard as Lifeline, Perceptor, and Ratchet looked shocked.
"We Have Radan in the fight!" Optimus called out and thus Nick and his team knew it was time to move out.
"Ratchet?" Lifeline asked as she looked to Ratchet who was looking at Jazz's life signs.
"We need to stabilize him enough for safe travel!" Ratchet said and thus Lifeline took the stand here.
"I'll go!" Lifeline called out as she retrieved her medical kit.
"Yip-yip-yip you are still not combat ready!" Ratchet called out but Lifeline would not hear it.
"Of course not, I'm a medic not a soldier!" Lifeline snapped and thus surprised Ratchet. "I'm sorry but please give me this chance." Lifeline said as while she did not wish to go into battle, she also knew a medics job was to heal as well on and off the battlefield.
"Optimus." Ratchet spoke as he prepared the ground bridge. "I am sending the Tekkaman to help with the Radan and Lifeline to stabilize Jazz for safe transport back to base." Ratchet said surprising Lifeline with this.
"Understood we will cover her!" Optimus responded knowing Jazz needed a medic stat.
"Tekkaman time to go!" Nick called out as he headed over to Pegas who was waiting for him.
"Nick wait!" Shara called out and thus she looked ready to go as well.
"Shara." Nick began but Shara stood her ground this time.
"Nick you can only be transformed for 30 minutes at a time you need the help!" Shara defended and thus Nick saw this and sighed.
"Fine but stay close!" Nick ordered and thus it was time to move.
(Scene Break battlefield)
AS the Tekkaman descended on the battlefield Nightbird wondered why they were here. "Sorry for the intrusion but Megatron asked us to provide you with aid." Evil said as he looked to Nightbird who understood enough.
"Very well." Nightbird said accepting the aid from the Tekkaman. If Megatron did in fact send them then she had no reason to deny it assuming they were telling the truth.
Just then a Ground bridge opened and from it Tekkaman Blade flew out on Pegas, who began to fire upon the Radan and enemy troops. Following it up was Claymore, Scythe, and Hammer as they went for the Radan first to give some space. Once they came through Lifeline drove through and made a bee line to Jazz who was being covered by the Autobots as his wounds were tended to.
Lifeline then went to robot mode and had her medical kit out to treat the wounds she can treat. "Halloo nurse." Jazz joked as he was clearly in a lot of pain right now.
"Don't talk Jazz you've suffered severe damage." Lifeline said as she began to work on Jazz to get him back to fighting shape. Just then another explosion went off nearby which freaked out Lifeline when it happened. Now let it be known that Lifeline was a medic yes, but she never had any field experience or any experience operating in these conditions. Most of the injuries suffered on the Exodus were either minor or could be treated on the ship. So, to have to heal a downed bot during live combat was showing the young femme a firsthand look at war.
Shaking her head Lifeline activated a scope tech to get a deeper look as to what Jazz's current problem was. "How bad is it, nurse?" Hound asked as he looked to Lifeline.
"Bad, his CPU is friend, his primary compositor has suffered major damages, and adding the loss of his limb and possible head trauma he's going into shock." Lifeline said as she had her tools ready to stabilize Jazz as best as she could. But before Lifeline could begin her servos were seen shaking as she gulped a bit suggesting she was having some sort of panic attack. 'Come on Lifeline you know what to do, you studied the manuals, practiced on lifelike dummies, and had passed every qualification asked of you.' Lifeline scolded herself as she tried to will, her servos to do what she was trained to do.
Just then a large set of Servos touched hers surprising Lifeline. She looked and saw that Optimus was placing a gentle servo on hers to calm the young medic. Following it up was Elita as the Autobot Femme leader knew exactly what Lifeline was going through right now.
"Sorry Commanders I... I'm more used to doing this in the safety of a base or a ship not in the field." Lifeline admitted and thus Optimus understood.
"Yet you showed great courage to come forth to save a fellow Autobot." Optimus said as he knew Lifeline's spark was in the right place.
"Steady your breathing, focus your processor, block out everything else, and do what you came here to do." Elita helped as Lifeline took Elita's advice and got to work. Taking out a scanner Lifeline scanned Jazz and in turn got a Spark Pulse from him. Once that was done, she began to operate on Jazz to heal him and get him back to base for full repair and not this patch job Lifeline was doing.
(Meanwhile with the Tekkaman)
Up in the sky Blade and Pegas flew about with the other Tekkaman taking out every Vehicon Trooper they happened open. The other Tekkaman helped as they were thinning out the Decepticon fliers to help the Autotbots in this fight. Just then a Radan and Con tried to get at Blade from behind only for Rapier to show up as she had hitched a ride with Blade. Rapier thus sliced through the Con and with her wire grabbed the Radan before pulling herself toward it before stabbing it and cutting it open killing it instantly.
Once that was done Rapier joined the other Tekkaman as she saw the Cons flying about taking shots at her to which Rapier avoided. "We need to thin their numbers!" Blade called out and thus Rapier had an idea.
"I got it!" Rapier called out and thus began her attack. Releasing an aura of energy Rapier's eyes flashed to life before she flew about with the aura forming into a bird of sorts. With each Decepticon she passed through the aura caused them major damage as they fell and crashed clearly being snuffed out.
"Crash Intrude." Blade said as he saw what Rapier was using. But hers was different as while the magenta energy flowed Blade saw it had traces of azure blue suggesting Energon was mixed in due to Rapier's nature as a Techno Organic life form. As the Cons in the sky were being thinned out the Aerialbots were now having an easier time tackling the Decepticons and Radan.
"Aerial Bots attack!" Jetfire called out and thus the Aerial bots began their counterattack against the Cons and Radan.
Nearby Evil saw this and was wide eyed to see not only Rapier alive and well but aiding Blade against their forces. Needless to say, Evil was beyond happy to see that his sister was alive and well. For Evil this meant Blade pulled a miracle and found a way to save her life and thus while he would never admit it Evil was eternally grateful to his brother. A small part of Evil the part that was Cain Carter still loved and cared for his family even after that fateful fire that took their mother away from them.
"Tekkaman attack!" Evil called out and thus they all got moving against their foes.
When Rapier ended her Crush Intrude she then saw the enemy coming at them and acted. "Look out!" Rapier called out and thus Blade looked as did Claymore, Scythe, and Hammer. The attack came at them forcing them all to dodge the enemy Tekkaman.
(Scythe vs Sword)
The two female Tekkaman flew close to the ground as they proceeded to do battle against each other. Scythe's weapon met against Sword's as sparks from the collision's friction was seen about. As they flew for a moment they soon parted and thus Scythe was forced to avoid an attack from Thunderblasts rockets.
"Darn I missed!" Thunderblast cursed as Sword joined with the Deception femme.
Nearby Wingsaber flew down once the skies were cleared out and thus transformed to robot mode. Once Wingsaber was in Robot mode once more he proceeded to open fire upon Thunderblast and Sword and gave Scythe some cover. "You ok Techno Girl?" Wingsaber asked as he looked to Scythe who made a huff to this.
"Don't call me that!" Scythe said as Lori felt it to be demeaning on her part.
"I just call it as I see it!" Wingsaber called out and thus Thunderblast scoffed to this.
"Would you two knock it off we're in the middle of a battle!" Sword called out as just then she avoided laser fire from Wingsaber.
"You're lucky the Prime directive doesn't let me fire upon you!" Wingsaber called out as he pointed an accusing finger at Sword.
"You tell her Wingsaber!" Scythe called out as Sword glared at him.
"If this Prime Directive was so important why help our enemies fight us in the first place!" Sword called out as she glared at Wingsaber. "And you weren't you just annoyed with him for calling you Techno girl!" Sword argued as Thunderblast was caught in the middle of this.
"You shot first we shot back in retaliation!" Wingsaber argued as Sword's eye twitched under her helm.
"Don't act like I'm turning on him if anything we should focus on you, you insane bitch. I mean come on your called Sword yet you're using a damn bow staff thing! If your name is Sword, then why aren't you using a sword?!" Scythe called out as she pointed her scythe at Sword. "I mean I'm called Scythe and my weapon matches the name!" Scythe argued as Sword was getting fed up with this.
"How about you judge your leaders weapon instead of mine skank!" Sword fired back as even Wingsaber was finding this awkward despite the laser fire going on around them.
"Why you!" Scythe began and thus Thunderblast had enough of this.
"Ok both of you knock it off!" Thunderblast yelled as she got in the middle of this. "You know it's bad when I have to be the responsible one!" Thunderblast called out as she glared at the two Tekkaman. "We're in the middle of a battle what is wrong with you two!?" Thunderblast called out as she was glaring at the two female Tekkaman.
"She started it!" Sword and Scythe both said and thus Thunderblast face palmed herself.
"I don't care who started it I'm ending it!" Thunderblast called out and thus started off with Sword. "Sword your supposed to be some mature silent mysterious bad ass Tekkaman assassin and you're arguing with an adolescent Tekkaman!" Thunderblast lectured as she pointed and accusing finger at Sword. "And now more squeaking from the vermin!" Thunderblast yelled as she then directed her attention at Scythe.
"VERMIN!?" Scythe yelled as she glared directly at Thunderblast no doubt not taking that insult lightly.
"Of, course after all even though your augmented and evolved your origin is from a race of vermin whose only values are automobile designs." Thunderblast taunted as she looked down at Scythe who was getting angry. "Right now, you're like a poor cross between a Scraplet and a Minicon dangerous but not so much when its only one of you." Thunder further taunted as Scythe had just about enough of Thunderblast's sass to her. "In fact, I may need a scraplet trap it would be more humane to deal with you that way then to actively fight you." Thunderblast went off and thus Thunderblast had enough.
"Now you've done it." Scythe snarled as her temper was not one you should set off. If she's not scolding you then chances are she's kicking your ass and that was what Scythe was about to do. "How about you put your money where your mouth is bitch!" Scythe yelled as she pointed her weapon at Thunderblast ready to do battle as Sword was just enjoying the show.
"Oh, really your, going to take me on by yourself?" Thunderblast taunted as she smirked down on Scythe.
"You bet your shiny metal ass I am!" Scythe responded as Wingsaber felt totally lost here.
The two had a stare down as Sword was ready to do battle as Wingsaber had his blasters armed and ready. Thunderblast glared down at Scythe ready for battle as well as the four-way stare down went on. Eventually Thunderblast acted and thus throw a smoke bomb which went off and covered the area in its fog.
"Ceeya suckers HAHAHAHA!" Thunderblast called out as she made a break for it with Sword on her tail.
Scythe flew out of the fog only to see Thunderblast and Sword driving off towards the cliff edge. "Get back here you bitch!" Scythe yelled out as she was no doubt finding an annoying enemy in Thunderblast.
"Why don't you make us!" Thunderblast taunted and thus Scythe had just about enough of Thunderblast.
With a snarled of fury Scythe glared at the escaping pair as Wingsaber caught up to her and thus she snapped. "I HATE HER!" Scythe yelled and thus turned her ire on Wingsaber. "Wingsaber transform we are going after them!" Scythe yelled as she surprised Wingsaber with her words.
"Wait what you can't be serious!?" Wingsaber asked shocked at what Scythe was telling him.
"I am serious." Scythe said as her eyes gave off a dull glow to the Autobot.
"B-but Lori." Wingsaber tried to reason using Scythe's human name.
"We. Are. Cha-Sing. Them." Scythe punctuated her words showing she was not going to take no for an answer. In fact her rage even dug into her dormant Radan instincts causing her eyes to flash red to show just how pissed off she was.
Now Wingsaber was a brave bot but somehow by an act of God, Primus, or whoever this girl scared him into submission. "Yes. Ma'am." Wingsaber said as he then transformed into vehicle mode once more. Once he did so Scythe jumped onto his back and was in turn ready for take-off.
"Yeah, let's get her!" Scythe called out as Wingsaber began to take off.
"What have I gotten myself into?" Wingsaber knowing Thunderblast and Sword were the enemies but this felt more like a squabble between femme's back on Cybertron.
"Hi ho Saber!" Scythe called out as Wingsaber's boosters flared off and thus they were off chasing down Thunderblast and Sword.
(Meanwhile with Hammer)
As Hammer crushed the head of another enemy Tekkaman he then had to avoid laser fire from Breakdown who was aiding Axe in this fight. "Hey, I was hoping for a rematch." Axe said as he grinded his axe showing he was ready for battle.
"Same but this time it won't end like it did last time!" Hammer called out as Blade had been training with them since then.
"Well, we'll just have to wait and see now wont we Hammer!" Axe called out and thus while on his Radan manta creature flew after Hammer. Breakdown also helped as he fired at Hammer forcing him to use his boosters to avoid it only to be hit by Axe and his manta. Eventually Hammer avoided the shot but Breakdown fired a rocket at Hammer forcing him into a corner.
"Hey Breakdown!" Bulkhead was heard and thus the Wrecked slammed into Breakdown forcing him down. "Let's let the little guys have their fun." Bulkhead said as he then punched his fists together.
"Alright been hoping we meet up again Bulk." Breakdown said as it was clear the rivals were going to do battle once more. In turn the two charged at each other and eventually when they clashed Breakdown's hammer met with Bulkhead mace.
In the sky Hammer and Axe were going at it but without something to help Axe he was at a disadvantage. AS the two went at it Hammer was being outflew by the Manta like Radan that Axe rode into battle. Trying his best Hammer held what ground he could but it was for nothing as soon he was hit by Axe bad and thus was sent flying to the ground. Windblade and Powerglide were with Jetfire when they saw that Hammer was hit by Axe.
"Coby!" Jetfire called out and thus Windblade flew into action.
"I got him!" Windblade called out and flew after Hammer.
Hammer was trying to regain his booster controls as it was a lot harder then he thought. Then he saw Windblade flying down with him and thus he saw what she was trying to do. With some careful maneuvering he got his body to fix itself and when he regained booster control he used them. With curve turn from Windblade Hammer managed to land on the Femme fliers back and thus flew off into battle.
When the pair were now able, they went after Axe with Windblade firing at the Tekkaman and his Manta ride. Axe saw this and growled and avoided it. The fliers went after each other before Axe and Hammer jumped off and attacked each other. They passed by each other and thus landed on their mounts once more. "Wow this is amazing no wonder Nick trained us to do this." Hammer said as he flew on Windblade.
"Don't worry we'll have plenty of time to practice this later." Windblade said as she saw that she may have gotten a partner for combat in the field.
(Meanwhile Claymore vs Lance)
The two Tekkaman flew about as they went at each other. With each clash their weapons created sparks as both had every intention of besting the other. This went on for a good while as Lance then flew about with Claymore close on his tail. This carried on for a bit until from in front of Lance a Manta Radan flew in and went straight for Claymore. Forced to avoid in Claymore spun around it only to be attacked by Lance who then landed on the Manta and flew after Claymore.
"Die traitor!" Lance yelled as he chased after Claymore who was forced to fly away.
As this happened Claymore was forced to avoid the oncoming attacks from Lance who would clearly not relent from the younger Tekkaman. "Die fool!" Lance yelled as he went for Claymore intent on ending his life.
"Guys I can use some help here!" Claymore cried out as he tried to keep distance between himself and Lance. Just then laser fire came down as Lance with his ride avoided it as best, he could. Once he did so Claymore looked up and saw Powerglide flying down to help.
"Heads up kid!" Powerglide called out and thus Claymore had an idea.
Claymore activated his boosters and then propelled himself to Powerglide where he then landed on the fliers back. Once Claymore was there the two began to chase down Lance and his manta like Radan. "Ok this is awesome!" Claymore called out as he rode on the back of Powerglide.
"Well, it's about to get better kid, welcome to air Powerglide hold on because we're in for a ride!" Powerglide called out and ignited his boosters to chase after Claymore. It was clear that now both sides had fliers to aid them as the battle went on as this would no doubt be of use for cooperation between Tekkaman and humans in the future.
(Blade vs Evil)
Blade and Evil flew around each other as they continued to do battle against each other. Their lancers met as they spun them about before each clashed. The two brothers were clearly intent on ending the other as they continued to do battle. As this went on Blade managed to get the upper hand on Blade and forced him back but alas it was short lived. As Blade flew back Evil was soon blindsided by Rapier who appeared wielding her weapon in a reverse grip and thus slashed at Evil. Once Evil was hit Rapier then proceeded to kick Evil down as he in turn went flying down in the direction of Evil's kick. Evil in response fixed his trajectory and then used his thrusters to stop himself before glaring at Blade and Rapier glaring at him side by side.
"Impossible Rapier you live!?" Evil gasped as he saw the reports held truth Tekkaman Rapier had survived.
"More than that I'm new and improved." Rapier countered as the Techno-Organic Tekkaman glared at her elder brother.
"So, you've also embraced treachery sister." Evil accused as he glared at his twin brother and his younger sister.
"Your hardly one to talk, Cain!" Rapier countered as she knew her brothers' true goals thanks to the Dark Energon freeing him from Radan's control.
"Oh, am I?" Evil asked as he raised a brow to his sisters' words. "I suppose Blade told you of our prior conversation then." Evil said as Rapier glared at her brother.
"How you believe we're supposed to be the next stage of human evolution? Or maybe of how you believe Tekkaman should rule over humanity?" Rapier accused as she glared at her elder brother.
"Come now Shara surely you do not think they deserve the rule after centuries of mistakes and shortcomings." Evil said as he tried to get his sister to see reason. "After all it was human failure that cost us our mother whom you never even got to know." Evil said and thus pressed a sensitive button for the Carter Siblings. Blade and Rapier's eyes flashed with rage and thus they charged at Evil who in turn charged back. Now that he knew who he was facing Evil was able to keep up with both of his foes.
Their weapons met as Rapier clearly was one for speed and agility in her attacks. Evil saw this and kept his defenses up knowing Rapier will no doubt attempt to exploit any weakness he may have. Following it up was Blade as he went for the attack to which Evil dodged the attack and hovered for a moment. He then saw Rapier and Blade coming at him and thus their weapons met against each other before they parted again. Rapier proceeded to send forth a tether to latch onto Evil and thus forced him to an opening. Blade seeing this charged in to attack his twin brother and take him down.
Evil saw this and thus with a burst of strength pulled Rapier and swung her at Blade. Seeing this Blade acted and stopped his charge in time to catch his sister. But from the force of Evil's swing Blade was knocked down much to Rapier dismay. Rapier acted fast and with her weapon sliced the wire freeing herself from her failed move but in doing so left herself wide open to attack. Evil went after his sister and thus forced Rapier to go on the defensive. She knew for a fact she was no equal for any of her brothers but at the very least she can try and tip the balance in Nick's favor if not stall for time. The two flew about clashing every so often as Rapier held her weapon in a reverse grip still.
Moving with speed and force she tried to get the upper hand against Evil. Evil then parried her attack and in turn grabbed Rapier by the face. Once he did so Evil ignite his boosters and flew downward where he then slammed Rapier to the ground and dragged her through it till, they hit the cliffs edge. Once they got off, he flew upward once more and continued with his steel grip on Rapier's face. Rapier meanwhile was struggling to free herself of Evil's grip but to no avail.
"Sister I'm doing what is best for us, join me help me save this world so we may be a family once more." Evil said as he tried to convince Rapier to side with him.
"No Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, so I won't take part in stripping that same freedom from others." Rapier said and thus Evil felt a great sadness in his heart that not even his younger sister would share his vision.
"I see... then I am sorry sister." Evil said and thus the lenses for his Psi-Voltekka began to light up charging.
Rapier was wide eyed to this for a moment until from above laser fire was seen. Forced to let go of Rapier the duo looked upward and saw Jetfire flying towards the two Tekkaman. "Kid hop on!" Jetfire called out and thus Rapier moved and jumped onto Jetfire's back just as he began to curve and fly upward once more. Rapier was now riding on the back of Jetfire as the two were clearly combat partners in this regard.
"Rapier!" Blade called out as he flew in and joined his sister but on Pegas who had returned to him. Evil glared at the duo and in turn flew back to where his Manta was and thus landed on its back when it flew over to its master.
"I suppose we have no choice then." Evil said as he was going to make sure Blade and Rapier fell and while he would try to make it quick for Rapier, he had no such desires to do the same for Blade.
(Back with Scythe vs Sword)
Scythe continued her chase of Sword and Thunderblast while riding on Wingsabers back. As they flew after them Scythe was clearly angry and had every intention to make those two femmes hurt. "Wingsaber, don't you DARE let them get away!" Scythe snarled as she no intention of letting her foes escape her.
But Wingsaber had quickly noticed something amiss with this entire situation. "Something is off." Wingsaber voiced as this got Scythe's attention.
"What is it?" Scythe asked as she looked to Wingsaber wondering what was wrong.
"Thunderblast isn't driving at full speed and she and Sword aren't even at full speed, it's like they want us to keep up." Wingsaber said as he saw this was a red flag for him. "In fact, why are they even driving there isn't much of anywhere they can drive off to." Wingsaber said and in turn he saw where the two femmes were driving to. "Wait their going for water it's a trap!" Wingsaber realized and in turn Thunderblast transformed to robot mode and with Sword vanished into the water.
"Where did they go?" Scythe asked looking for the femme con and the enemy Tekkaman duo. Just then from the water rockets shot out and thus forced Wingsaber to act.
"In coming!" Wingsaber called out and thus the duo began to weave through it as Scythe held onto to her Autobot combat partner. The rockets thankfully missed them, but Scythe then saw them swerve and come at them again.
"Wingsaber!" Scythe called out and in turn proceeded to act. Jumping up with the use of her own boosters Scythe sliced through the rockets and allowed them to explode before returning to Wingsaber.
"Nice catch Lori!" Wingsaber called out impressed with what Lori pulled off.
"Thanks." Scythe said as they flew around the water hoping to find Thunderblast, Sword, or both. "Now let's go find skanks." Scythe said as she looked around at least until the water blasted out. From the water Thunderblast shot out and to her shock transformed into a speed boat instead of a car. "Um what?!" Scythe asked shocked as she had originally seen Thunderblast change into a car before.
"Scrap she's a Triple Changer!" Wingsaber cursed and in turn began to fly fast as Thunderblast now with Sword on her chased after him and Scythe.
"A triple changer?" Scythe asked as that was the first time she had heard of the term.
(Autobot Base)
"A Triple Changer?" Jack asked as he was also lost on this.
"A Triple Changer is a unique Cybertronian capable of transforming between two alternate forms instead of the singular form." Ratchet said as he knew of a few the Wrecker Commander Springer being chief among them before Ultra Magnus took his place.
"So that crazy con can go land and sea?!" Miko gasped as she heard this. "Great just when we got the air support we needed." Miko scowled as now the Cons had a sea faring femme in their ranks to go with their combiner.
(Back to Scythe's battle)
"We need to draw her out to the surface somehow." Scythe said trying to think of an idea.
"And how do you suppose we do that?" Wingsaber asked as Scythe began to think and thus looked to her weapon and left hand. With that she had an idea to which Wingsaber needed to know.
"We need live bait." Scythe said to which Wingsaber grew worried for this.
"I'm going to get wet, aren't I?" Wingsaber asked as the Autobot was a flier not a swimmer.
"We both are, and it will totally be worth it." Scythe said and thus they began their counterattack. "Here's the plan." Scythe began as she kneeled to speak quietly as possible to Wingsaber.
Back in the water Sword had control of Thunderblasts turret as she began to open fire on Wingsaber and Scythe. "Come on flyboy is that all you got?!" Thunderblast taunted as Sword fire the weapons off on Wingsaber.
In the air the Arielbot/Tekkaman duo were flying in the air avoiding Thunderblast and Swords attack on them. The two then flew upward for a bit before taking a U-turn and heading for the water. When they got close enough Wingsaber pulled up and was flying straight for Sword and Thunderblast while increasing his speed. He in turn open fire on Thunderblast who easily avoided the shots from Wingsaber.
"Please I can take a dive!" Thunderblast called out and thus Wingsaber smirked seeing Scythe's plan was working.
"That was the plan!" Wingsaber called out and thus as Thunderblast transformed so too did Wingsaber as Scythe seemed to jump off her Autobot friend. Wingersaber then charged at the surprised Thunderblast and crashed into her before they both sank into the water. the two Cybertronians were now underwater as Sword was in there with them.
"This is your plan? You do realize that underwater I'm the Shark!" Thunderblast as she remembered watching Jaws with Knockout and Breakdown... don't ask she likes to have a pair of minions to boss around. Thunderblast was currently in Wingsaber's grip as she was attempting to get free from it.
Unfortunately for Wingsaber Thunderblast managed to break free and thus swam away from Wingsaber before arming her weapon on him. "Go fish Nemo." Thunderblast said but Sword felt something amiss with this battle.
"Wait Thunderblast this seems too easy why would a flier come down to your element?" Sword asked as she stopped Thunderblast from attack.
"Wait your right, what are you planning fly bot?" Thunderblast asked as she wanted answers. Just then a wire shot forth and caught both the Femme con and Sword by surprise. The wire then wrapped around the two and thus tightened as this left the two females in shock. Scythe then flew in and went to Wingsaber who then grabbed the Tekkaman.
"Now Wingsaber!" Scythe called out showing her Tekkaman form was airtight.
"Right!" Wingsaber responded and thus flew upward to the surface. This in turn dragged both Thunderblast and Sword along for the rise as they continued upward.
(Surface)
Wingsaber shot out as he continued to pull the wire that Scythe had as the two ladies on it were still wrapped up. He then proceeded to spin the two around before Scythe cut them loose and thus, they were sent flying. Wingsaber then transformed and began to aim all his weapons at the two, enemy femme's. The two, weapon barrels on Scythe's back flipped over and thus became two shoulder cannons for Tekkaman Scythe. The end of them opened, up to reveal Vol-Tek Lenses which only meant one thing.
"Hey Thunderblast guess what!" Scythe called out as the Decepticon Femme and evil Tekkaman heard Scythe. They saw the lenses charging up and thus knew they had to move but alas they could not get free fast enough. "You just got beaten by vermin! VOLTEKKA!" Scythe roared out and fired off her weapons at the enemy duo.
"EAT THIS!" Wingsaber joined in as he fired off every rocket, he had on the two foes intent on taking them out.
"Oh SLAG!" Thunderblast cried out before she and Evil were blasted to kingdom come.
"BOOYAH!" Scythe cheered as Wingsaber had to admit the girl did good. "Now let's go help the others!" Scythe added and thus they were off to provide aid to their allies.
(Meanwhile with Sword and Thunderblast)
"Dammit." Sword cursed as she and Thunderblast had been blasted to the water and washed up ashore on a lone beach.
"This is your fault you know that." Thunderblast said only for Sword to glare at the Femme Con.
"Don't start with me." Sword snarled and thus knew they had to fall back to lick their wounds.
(Hammer vs Axe)
(Hammer vs Axe)
The battle between Hammer and Axe continued as the two heavy weapon Tekkaman went at each other. Hammer's weapon clashed with Axe's weapon as the two Tekkaman continued to go at it. Claymore then jumped back and landed on Windblade who flew at Axe and opened fire on him. "Take this!" Axe roared out and threw his weapon at the Tekkaman Autobot duo. The axe spun about towards Claymore who in response dodged the weapon with Powerglide to avoid being chopped in two.
"Wow that was a hair too close." Hammer said as Powerglide had to agree on this.
"No kidding." Windblade said as she had to agree with Claymore on this.
"Coby!" Came the voice of Scythe as the Tekkaman looked and saw Scythe and Wingsaber flying there way and in the direction of Axe's thrown weapon
"Lori look out!" Hammer called out and thus Scythe went wide eyed at the oncoming weapon. Just then a beam of light shot past Hammer and in turn caught Scythe by surprise as the weapon stopped. The reason the spinning weapon was halted was because Axe had flown over to catch it and avoid hurting Scythe by accident.
"Uh... what?" Scythe asked shock that Axe just saved her from his own weapon.
"Kid... next time you fly into a battle make sure you know what's going on." Axe said as he gave some good advice to Scythe. "Otherwise, you'll end up dead for it." Axe added and thus Scythe nodded to this as even Wingsaber and Windblade were shocked by this.
"Hey back off from her!" Hammer was heard roaring out as he and Windblade charged at Axe. "Your fight's with me!" He added as he went after Axe to fight him. Axe saw this and with his Radan flew back and avoided the attacks from Hammer and Windblade. The duos were then joined by Scythe and Wingsaber as the two pairs were ready for more.
"It was..." Axe began as he then smirked under his form. "But you got some potential your strong she's smart." Axe said as he looked between the pair. "But since Blade is the bigger target..." Axe trailed off as he looked over to the direction where Evil was fighting off Blade and Rapier. "It seems I need to fall back to help Sword." Axe said and thus his chest plate opened, up. "So, until next time get stronger and show me how good of a martial arts instructor my former student can be, VOLTEKKA!" Axe invoked and thus fired off the Voltekka forcing the fliers to get the Tekkaman out of there before they were shot.
When the blast cleared up Axe was gone no doubt falling back. "Come on." Hammer began as he looked over to Scythe as they still needed to regroup with Claymore. "We need to go help the others." He said and with a nod the four flew off.
(Back with Claymore vs Lance)
Claymore and Powerglide flew downward toward a path with Lance close on their tail. As they performed evasive maneuvers Claymore growled a bit while trying to avoid enemy fire. "Jeez this guy doesn't know when to quit." Claymore growled trying to think of a way out of this one.
"I have an idea!" Powerglide called out and thus he began to release a smokescreen from his tailfin. Lance of course flew straight into it and vanished inside it. Powerglide then flew upward and in response Lance and his Radan mount chased after him. But it didn't take long for Lance to see that Claymore was not with Powerglide.
"Wait where did he?" Lance asked only to hear Claymore roaring out as he charged at Lance. But instead of attacking Lance Claymore sliced through his Radan mount and killed it on the spot. Force to jump off he was then met by surprise attacks from the newly arrived Scythe and Hammer with the Autobots Wingsaber and Windblade.
Lance was left wide eyed as he saw he was surrounded by his enemies and knew if he didn't retreat then he was as good as dead. In turn Lance acted and opened the Voltekk lenses on his Neck area and fired. "VOLTEKKA!" He invoked and fired at his foes spinning around. Forced to dodge it Lance used the chance and in turn ran away from the fight as well. Seeing this it was clear that it was down to Evil in this fight now.
(Back with Blade and Rapier)
Blade and Rapier flew about as the siblings rode Pegas and Jetfire into battle respectively. Evil was on the Manta like Radan as they flew after him attempting to overpower him. By the looks of things, it's clear that Evil was trying to hold back against Rapier yet going all out against Blade which was never a good combo to use in battle. Blade then clashed with Evil as the two foes struggled against each other before pushing each other back. Once this was done Rapier had sent her Wire around Evil's neck and proceeded to yank him away from Blade and threw him into the sky.
"Nick!" Rapier called out and thus Blade understood instantly what Rapier wanted to do.
Rapier's eyes and headpiece began to glow as the center armor piece just below her breasts slid open as did the armor of her shoulder area to reveal Voltek lenses. Blade also opened, up his Voltek Lenses as he knew Pegas would not be needed this time for the attack. "DOUBLE VOLTEKKA!" Both Blade and Rapier invoked and thus fired off their attacks which in turn melded together to form a beam with similar fire power to the Hi-Colt Voltekka. But unlike the regular magenta colored of Rapier hers had traces of azure blue another sign of her Techno-Organic nature.
Evil saw this and was wide eyed as he attempted to shield himself from the oncoming attack. Thankfully Dark Energon has proven to be the deciding factor in Evil's survival as the powerful beam passed over him causing him severe damage as it did so. When the two Tekkaman ended their attack, they saw to their shock Evil was still alive injured and hurting but alive none the less.
"Slag what does it take to snuff him!?" Jetfire asked shocked to see how Evil managed to survive that shot. Evil looked ready to attack more but was then surrounded by Radan troops. Leading them was Axe, Sword, and Lance who all no doubt came to retrieve Evil.
"Evil we must fall back!" Sword urged as she had a grip on one of his arms.
"She's right kid, we need to move now!" Axe called out as he looked to his old student knowing full well it was better to run and lick their wounds. Evil refused as he glared at his twin brother and younger sister in contempt.
"I can still fight!" Evil urged yet his injuries said otherwise in this regard.
"We did what we came here to do we must leave now!" Axe urged and thus Evil was in turn returned to a manta like flier and thus was being moved to safety.
"Stop!" Blade called out only for more Radan flier to show up and start attacking the siblings. Just then from above the group was joined by the rest of Blade's team as the Radan Tekkaman made their escape. The grunts were easy enough to deal with, but they were simply there to buy time. Evil and the other Radan Tekkaman had escaped by the time they were done much to the displeasure of Blade and his team.
"What's the play now?" Claymore asked as he ended the life of the last Radan in this battle.
"We give the Autobots a hand." Blade said and thus they were all in agreement on this.
(Back with the Autobots)
"Ok your good for transport." Lifeline said as she finished her patch work job on Jazz.
"That's good because Bruticus is getting closer!" Ironhide called out as the Combiner stomped his way over to the Autobots using Vortex's propellers to form a shield.
Nearby Nightbird landed on a ledge as the Energon Star attached to her became dull and thus turned to dust after its use. "Pity it wore off." Nightbird sighed as she then began to reach for another one. "Well, there is still several to spare." Nightbird began and thus Moonracer saw her chance.
As Nightbird pulled out another star Moonracer acted and shot the case from Nightbirds loosened grip. This in turn caused the now closed case to go flying out of Nightbird's hands. Seeing this Elita nodded to Optimus who understood what she was planning. "Autobots the case hurry!" Elita called out and thus Firestar got moving.
Knockout out saw the case and went running for it realizing they had to acquire it. "Come to papa!" Knockout called out as he went for the case.
Just then Ironhide came in and bashed into Knockout sending him flying. "Run to mama!" Ironhide taunted only to be blindsided by Shadowstriker who used momentum and Ironhide's weight to send him flying.
"Who's your daddy?" Shadowstriker taunted only for Bulkhead to come in next.
"Here's daddy!" Bulkhead said and was then blindsided by Breakdown who grabbed Bulkhead's head from behind.
"Say, uncle! Say it!" Breakdown called out as Bulkhead struggled to get free. He was then blindsided by Hound who stabbed his shoulder with a combat knife. Once that was done, he grabbed Breakdown and held the grip.
"Drop it! Drop it!" Hound called out and thus Breakdown let go of Hound.
"Thanks Hound!" Bulkhead said and thus Hound had his minigun out once more.
Moonracer transformed and drove in as she went for the case with Nightbird not too far behind. Transforming to Vehicle mode Nightbird made a beeline for the case only for Elita to grab onto Nightbird and forced her to fly over Moonracer. Once that was done Moonracer transformed and took the case only for Bruticus to take notice.
"Moonracer fall back now!" Arcee cried out as she saw Bruticus was targeting Moonracer now. Just then laser fire came from above blinding Bruticus for a moment and in turn the Arielbots with the Tekkaman came in providing air support to the ground troops.
"Tekkaman wrap him up now!" Blade called out as they in turn began to fire off their cables and wrapped it around each of Bruticus body parts. Jumping off the Ariel Bots, Rapier, Claymore, Scythe, and Hammer each had, an arm or a leg covered. Blade went for the head as now each of Bruticus body parts was handled but it was a struggle to keep him still for the battle.
"Ariel Bots with me!" Jetfire called out as he led the fliers for this part of the battle.
(On the ground)
Optimus saw this as Lifeline and Firestorm helped Jazz stand as they prepared to carry him off the battlefield. "Jetfire lead the Arielbots in an airstrike against Bruticus." Optimus ordered through the communication link.
"On it Prime!" Jetfire responded and then hung up.
"Ratchet we need a bridge." Optimus ordered knowing they needed time. "Autobots prepare to fallback!" Optimus added as Moonracer rejoined them with the Energon Stars.
(Battle)
Jetfire flew in and once he, did he released an EMP bomb and dropped it on Bruticus. The resulting explosion went off and with the Tekkaman pulling on him Bruticus fell over and hit the ground. The ariel bots then flew in and got ready for their airstrike. "Arielbots open fire!" Jetfire ordered and thus rockets, and laser blasts went off and rained down upon Bruticus. The Tekkaman severed the cables and flew back and were shocked that Bruticus weas getting back up. Of course, the Arielbots would not let it last as they flew in for another un.
Firing off their rockets the Arielbots hit Bruticus with their ordinances and in turn forced him down harder. When Bruticus fell he separated back into the Combaticons and thus was out of the fight. Once this was done the Ground Bridge opened and thus the Autobots knew it was time to go.
"Autobots into the Ground Bridge!" Optimus called out and in turn they began to fall back with the Energon Stars in their possession.
"Stop them!" Nightbird ordered and thus the Cons all began to open fire on the Autobots.
Optimus and Elita covered for their ground troops as Jetfire joined them to cover his fliers. Lifeline and Firestar who were carrying Jazz were the first to enter followed by Moonracer and Arcee. Elita entered next as she was followed by Wingsaber, Windblade, and Powerglide. Jetfire was the next to enter as the Tekkaman followed the Autobot flier leader before the other Autobots were next. Optimus was the last to enter the Ground Bridge and in good time too as Nightbird slashed down on them intent on stopping them. Once Optimus was through the Ground Bridge closed behind them leaving only the Decepticons were left in the base.
(Scene Break later at Base)
Lifeline was tending to the injured after Jazz was moved to Ratchet's lab to be treated. As she was tending to Bulkhead's shoulder injury as he hissed in pain a bit. "Easy their nurse." Bulkhead said as Lifeline eased off a bit.
"Sorry Bulkhead but just try to stay still and bear through it." Lifeline said with a gentle tone as she worked on Bulkhead.
Nearby Optimus saw all his Autobots were accounted for which he was thankful for. As Lifeline finished up her work on Bulkhead Ratchet walked over to Optimus. "How is he, Ratchet?" Optimus asked as he was currently referring to Jazz.
"He will live thankfully I was able to salvage his leg, but he will not be combat ready until after undergoing physical therapy." Ratchet said to which Optimus smiled to this.
"He will be in good hands, old friend." Optimus said happy to hear Jazz will survive.
"I simply finished what Lifeline was able to start." Ratchet said as he looked over to the Nurse Femme who was looking over Arcee to make sure she was ok. Ratchet had to admit Lifeline may not be a fighter by nature and choice, but she was certainly on her way to become a great physician with the proper guidance of course.
"She is gifted in the medical field and has potential to become an excellent physician." Optimus said as he knew what Ratchet was thinking. "Hopefully she will have an excellent teacher to realize that potential." Optimus said knowing full well Ratchet was hoping to pass on his experience to another.
Back over with Lifeline she finished up on her checkup over on Bumblebee, who she saw that their scout was doing fine, when Elita walked over to the medic. "You were reckless today." Elita began as she approached Lifeline who saw this. "Charging into battle like that." Elita said as she looked to Lifeline.
"Oh... sorry Commander but a Bot was down and needed immediate medical attention, Perceptor was not a medic and Ratchet was needed here to operate the Ground Bridge." Lifeline said but Elita then spoke up.
"Yes, and even through Perceptor could have taken over you had displayed a great deal of courage doing what you did." Elita praised much to Lifeline's surprise. "Thus, for that reason alone while I do believe you require further training, I feel it would best that training be overseen by Ratchet." Elita said and thus Lifeline began to smile big time before the Femme Commander.
"I won't let you down sir!" Lifeline responded as she stood straight and thus Elita smiled to the young femme. Lifeline was like a younger Moonracer but even than Elita knew that Lifeline would do them proud. They have enough warriors for the time being but what they need now are more healers.
(Meanwhile with Nick and Shara)
The Carter siblings were atop the base as they overlooked the desert that made up Jasper. They sat there in silence for a moment until Shara decided to speak up. "Nick, listen I appreciate you looking out for me honest I do." Shara began as Nick looked to his sister with concern. "But you're smothering me as is and I need my space." Shara said hoping Nick got the memo.
"I know that Shara but it's just..." Nick began as the memories went back to the Argo incident and in turn how he nearly lost Shara. "I just can't lose you." Nick finally said and thus Shara understood why Nick was smothering her... he was scared to lose his younger sister.
"Nick..." Shara began as she then put her hands on his face which now had a downtrodden look upon it. "I'm not going anywhere but you can't always protect me I need to be able to stand on my own." Shara said as she stood with her brother knowing full well, he at times cares too much for others. " A bird needs to spread its wings when it's time to leave the nest." She added and thus Nick teared up a bit.
"Shara." Nick trailed off before he gave his sister a hug as the two just stayed there in silence. Despite the hidden war going on the brother and sister duo that somehow even for a moment all was right with the world.
(Scene Break Nemesis)
Nightbird was seen kneeling before Megatron as she held in her servos the only Energon Star she managed to secure. Taking the object Megatron smirked as he saw that despite the setback's she had managed to secure a lone Energon Star. which should be enough to begin making their own versions of it. "Ah Nightbird nary a day you fail me." Megatron praised as he held the Energon Star in his Servos.
"Of course, Lord Megatron." Nightbird began as she smiled to her one true lord and master. "I am but your humble blade who lives to serve your will." Nightbird spoke and thus it was clear that despite the casualties they still managed to pull a victory from this entire ordeal of a mission. Now all that was needed was to hand the Star off to Knockout so he may start reverse engineering it to create their own Energon Stars. But that task alone made this nothing more than a waiting game now. But with this act alone well Megatron was looking for a new 1st Lieutenant seeing as Starscream no longer was of any use to neither Megatron nor the Decepticon Cause considering his failed attempt to assassinate him.
