Tekkaman Prime
ESKK: Well, here we are a new chapter for Tekkaman Prime I hope you enjoy is so now let us begin.
(Start Cave)
Sitting outside a cave after the acquisition of the Energon Stars the Autobots with Jack, Miko, and Shara were investigating strange readings coming from this particular cave in question. Jack was seen relaxing against the rocks as Miko was pasting back and forth clearly unhappy. Nearby Shara was atop the pile meditating as her new Techno-Organic lease on life had made her a tad bit curious over how one communes with Primus. Regardless it was starting to look like a quiet day for the team as the signal may just be a buss for them. Jack even yawned to show how relaxed he was in this situation.
Ever since the new arrivals Fowler had managed to make the argument of a second base of operations needed for the Arielbots. Thankfully he was approved and thus Jetfire took Perceptor and the other fliers to help set up their new base. Lifeline had remained behind to further her training under Ratchet's watchful eye as Shara even saw the old doctor enjoyed sharing his knowledge with such a bright young femme like Lifeline. Much to Bulkheads dismay Hound also went with the fliers since chances are Perceptor planned to remain at the new sky base and in Hounds words Team Prime already has two Wreckers with them.
Miko liked Hound and Hound liked Miko as well to the point he shared any war story he had with her. Hound saw as a Miko may very well be a Wrecker in the making. Anyway, Elita had also similar ideas but for an auxiliary base in case their current one was ever compromised or breached. Of course, it was on hold since the Autobot Airbase needed the resources to get its construction moving. At times Ratchet with Raf had to go between the bases to help work on the Ground Bridge in said airbase. Jetfire was in command there which made sense seeing as Jetfire was the Commander of the Autobot fliers. He never went into detail on why he was able to outfly the Decepticons bar that it was personal on his part.
"We were supposed to be at a rock concert. But all I see is rocks!" Miko finally voiced her disdain as she clearly wanted to get to said concert.
"Relax Miko the concert doesn't even start for another 2 hours." Jack said after yawning a bit as he tried to appease Miko here.
"Do you know how long I waited for to see Slash Monkey?" Miko asked as Shara was trying to keep a clear mind.
"Well..." Jack began but was then cut off by Miko.
"Forever and its, their only US date." Miko went on as Shara knew how Miko loved her rock music.
"Well, there's a shock. I mean, who doesn't love obscure Bulgarian shriek metal?" Jack said only for Shara to sigh and jump down to join them.
"I have to agree with Jack any Shriek Metal is not exactly my cup of tea." Shara said as she stood with Jack on this.
"Oh, right Stan Bush and 80's rock fans." Miko said as she kept forgetting the Carters were more fans of the classics and J-Rock or J-Pop.
Just then Arcee and Bulkhead walk out of the cave with Elita leading them. "By the looks of things, the mine has been stripped." Arcee said as the three Bots were on duty for this.
"But I'm getting a signal it's faint but it's definitely Energon." Bulkhead said as he looked to Arcee and Elita.
At this point, Arcee was lost in thought which were thoughts Elita shared. "I don't get it this mine has been abandoned for 4 maybe 5 years and Decepticons never Energon behind." Arcee said to which Elita had to agree with her subordinate.
"We will need to investigate further." Elita said as she knew this was not normal for any Decepticon. Ever since Shara and Elita had their brief meeting with Primus Elita had become Shara's guardian while on Earth. Since a part of Elita was used to heal Shara and make her Techno-Organic Elita felt Shara's safety was as much her responsibility as it was Nick's. Moonracer, Miko, and Kicker often joked that Elita had basically become Shara's mother or 'Carrier,' as they would call them on Cybertron. Now while Elita would not be against Shara seeing her as such, she also understood that Shara was born and raised as a human. More so a Techno Organic in any form was scarce to be virtually no existent. In fact, many on Cybertron did not believe such a fusion was possible and yet Shara by the grace of Primus was proof that it was.
Ratchet and Jun had been keeping close eyes on Shara as were the Military for varying reasons. Ratchet was attempting to see how Cybertronian Shara was in terms of biology in a safe controlled environment. Jun wanted to see if her new lease on life will be in anyway problem on her enjoyment of life. But the Military Nick had been concerned they wanted to see if Shara like the other Tekkaman would become threats to the planet like how Blade almost did when Evil tricked him to exceed his 30, minute limiter.
Just then Jack and Shara noticed something. "Um... Guy's." Jack said as the Autobots then looked to the pair. In response Jack pointed to Miko as Shara did the same as well to show where Miko ran off to.
"Cool!" Miko cried out as she ran into the abandoned Energon Mine.
"She went in. Unbelievable." Arcee sighed as clearly, she was frustrated with Miko.
Jack looked at Arcee shocked that Arcee would say that. "Really? Have you met Miko?" Jack asked as Elita was disappointed Miko would do this.
Bulkhead then sighed and proceeded to chase after Miko. "Miko! Get back here!" Bulkhead called out as he chased after Miko to get her out of the mine.
At that moment Jack looked at Arcee with a look of want that Shara and Elita both recognized. "You know it would be cool to see if it were..." Jack began until Arcee cut him off with that.
"Safe?" Arcee asked as she gave Jack a look that showed she was not going to let him enter a mine so casually.
"Jack a stripped Energon Mine is if not can very well be structurally unstable." Elita said as the Commanding Officer of this unit knew then to let the native organic walk into a place that would see him in harm's way.
"I Promise to step lightly." Jack said but Elita was still unconvinced.
"That may be all it takes to bring the place down, one wrong light step..." Elita trailed off and then sighed to this. "Very well I'll allow it this once but stay close to us." Elita said and thus she gestured for Shara to follow no doubt not seeking to leave Shara outside alone. Seeing the signal Shara stepped down and went to join Elita into the mine.
When Shara and Elita entered Arcee looked down to Jack with a warning. "Just don't tell your mom about this." Arcee said and thus the two-wheeler femme and her human partner entered the mine after Elita and Shara.
But unaware to them troubled arrived at the abandoned mine as from the sky Megatron and Starscream arrived. Arcee and Jack were already deep inside as were Elita and Shara when the pair of Decepticons arrived. Starscream took note of their arrival location and in turn began to grow concerned with it.
"Uh Lord Megatron far be it from me to question your intentions, but I do not understand why we have returned here after all this time." Starscream said as he looked worried. "Alone." Starscream added as he knew for many Decepticons it was NEVER a good sign. But instead of responding Megatron silently began to walk forward much to Starscreams great fear. "Every last trace of Energon was extracted from this mine." Starscream tried to tell Megatron as if afraid of what Megatron may find here. "There's nothing left." He went on as Megatron entered the cave.
Megatron then stopped and turned his attention over to Starscream. "Indulge me Starscream won't you?" Megatron said before he continued into the stripped mine. Starscream stood there for a moment contemplating running away but knowing it would show guilt on his part which would not be good. After all, with his most recent of crimes as well as the reveal of his and Arachnid attempt at Nightbirds spark... well Starscream was in no position to risk his spark so callously.
(Later with Bulkhead)
At some point, Bulkhead had managed to get to the part of the mine that Miko was in. "Miko!" Bulkhead called out as he was looking for his charge.
Just as Bulkhead was about to call out to Miko again it was at that moment Miko walked out of her hiding spot. "Check it out!" Miko called out as she made Bulkhead jump a bit. "Now this would make a great rehearsal space!" Miko announced as she looked around the abandoned mine. "Hello! Hello Cleveland!" Miko called out as her voice echoed about the chamber. She then jogged in a bit before she screamed out again. "Are you ready to rock?!" She called out again as she spun a bit before letting out a cheer.
With a small sigh Bulkhead looked to the scanner when he saw it going off suggesting something was found. "Arcee Elita, I found something." Bulkhead said as he called the femme via the communication link.
(With the Femmes and Jack)
Hearing their communication links going off the two Femme's went to answer it. "Bulkhead?" Arcee began but only got static in response to this.
"Bulkhead can you read us? Respond." Elita said but she too got static with Shara sitting on Elita's shoulder after they had entered the mine. "No response from Bulkhead." Elita said as she then looked around the cave as Arcee had similar thoughts. "It might be that the." Elita began until Shara spoke up cutting Elita off.
"The Mineral composition of the abandoned mine is interfering with your Autobot communication frequency." Shara spoke as her eyes were closed with her hands glowing against Elita's communication device. "You'll need to change the frequency and lower the range so you can contact Bulkhead." Shara said as she then opened her eyes to show them glowing Neon blue. Once she released her grip everyone was shocked at what Shara just did.
Arcee then proceeded to test the link out and thus tried again. "Testing Commander One can you hear me?" Arcee asked and thus Elita was shocked as she then did the same.
"Yes, I can." Elita said and thus even Jack was shocked at what Shara just did.
"Wow how did you know that?" Jack asked as he was pretty sure Shara was a ship medic not a communication specialist.
"I don't know it just told me I suppose." Shara said and thus this brought a great deal of questions over what other surprised this Techno-Organic had in store.
(Back with Bulkhead and Miko)
"Ok maybe the acoustics aren't perfect." Miko said as Bulkhead directed his attention to the scanner.
"Well since we're here Ratchet is going to want a sample." Bulkhead before he walked over to the nearest spot where the signal was strongest. Once he got there, he converted his free hand into his mace and began to smash it into the wall.
(Meanwhile over with Megatron and Starscream)
As the two Decepticons soon came to an open cavern with mining equipment still around and as Megatron looked at and not surprise to see it for some reason as he said, "How intriguing?"
Starscream gotten freak out what Megatron said as he thought of something quickly on the spot as he put on an upset look while making his best fake angry tone as he said, "Incompetent fool. This mining equipment should have been relocated, why is it still here?"
"A most valued question," Megatron said look towards Starscream when he said that as Starscream could figure out that Megatron wasn't fooled by his act or was just upset with him as he said to him, "My apologies master, I believe soundwave was in charge, of coordinating transport."
Metatron growl at Starscream as he knew the jet Con was lying through his teeth as soundwave never makes mistakes like this as Starscream soon said to him, "But in fairness during your interstellar travels, we all have to assume additional responsibilities, clearly mistakes were made."
"Yes, clearly," Megatron said as he raised his fist but not towards Starscream but towards a wall near him. He then smashed his fist into the rock wall, Starscream gasp to this as soon enough Megatron pulled out a fresh cluster of Energon as he said while quoting Starscream before, "Every last trade of energon extracted?"
"Lord Megatron I can explain," Starscream said as Megatron snap at him saying, "Explain what, that you been hording a supply of energon for your personal use?"
Megatron drop the small cluster of energon to the ground as Starscream said while in a panic knowing he was caught red handed, "No, not exactly. You see that I-
He was cut off when Megatron smash the energon under his foot and soon yells at him saying, "Don't take me for a fool Starscream!"
Starscream didn't know what to say anymore, with Megatron walking towards him as the Air Commander backed away from his great leader, as Megatron said to him, "I've been wise to your transgression from the beginning. Not only did you pluck the dark energon from my chest, in a failed attempt to snuff my spark out, but you tried to raise your own undead warrior with it. It's no secret you lost an arm in the process that you since had replace."
"You know about that!?" Starscream asked in shock that Megatron knew what happened in the past as Megatron said to him, "Soundwave is quite competent in surveillance I can assure you. The fact is Starscream, despite your treachery, I allow you to carry out this long because I took a certain light in follow your string of failures, but when I had learned of your conspiracy try to snuff Nightbird, you became a nuisance, tiresome, predicable, you've hit rock bottom."
Megatron pointed his blaster at Starscream after that as it seems he was about to fire at him close range, but the sniveling Decepticon soon went to his knees and started begging for his life as he said, "Master please, give me one more chance, I beg of you."
Coming down from another tunnel across the cavern across from Megatron and Starscream as Jack, Shara, Arcee, and Elita soon came upon the scene of Megatron standing over Starscream with his blaster out as the leader of the Decepticons said to him, "You have ceased to be of use to me Starscream, so you shall cease to be."
Starscream look away of his demise but in doing so he saw Jack and Shara standing at the other entry to the open cavern while Elita and Arcee simply walked in being surprised by the site before them, with Megatron looking where Starscream was looking at to, seeing two of the, femme Autobots, a human, and Tekkaman rapier there, turning his blaster on them quickly and started firing.
The group scattered as Shara and Elita went one way while Arcee picked up jack and ran another as they avoided Megatron's fire, as Arcee got Jack to safety she said to him, "Stay down!"
Arcee peek out, nearly getting blasted by Megatron as Elita came out of her spot and fire upon Megatron as she called out, "Get to cover!"
Elita was blasted at as well as she returned to her hiding spot, With Megatron keep firing upon the two bots as he advanced towards him, giving Starscream a chance to run away as he could while Megatron took notice of his he yelled out towards him, "Starscream, you dare abandon me?!"
Megatron took aim at him and fire down the tunnel Starscream was at, as suddenly his spot misses Starscream by a few inches as the Decepticon jump up and suddenly transform into his jet form and try to fly out while Megatron keep firing at him while missing his shots, hitting the rock walls around, making the structure of the mine more unstable as it started to shake a bit.
Elita and Arcee looked from their cover before Elita signaled for Arcee to move in. With a not the two femmes began to open fire on Megatron. As their laser shots hit the Decepticon Warlord he turned his attention back onto them and continued to fire on them. Using precise shot's, the two femmes managed to force Megatron's Fusion Cannon upward while he was shooting, and the result was him hitting the roof of the cavern. This caused the boulder above him to come down and land on Megatron.
This proved to be a bad move for them as the group were wide eyed to this. The boulder crashed and in turn the stripped Energon Mine began to come down on them. "Scrap!" Arcee cursed and thus Elita looked to the human and Tekkaman duo.
"Arcee the children!" Elita called out and thus the two femmes, got moving. As the cave came down on them the drilling rigs began to fall into the forming pit. Elita had a head start as she headed over to Jack and Shara but alas neither she nor Arcee were fast enough. The floor came down under their feet and they began to fall into the pit before.
Shara was screaming a bit and thus to her surprise her Tekk-Set Crystal began to respond. Grabbing it the Tekk-Set field formed around her as she began to fall to the darkness before. Elita during the fall managed to grab onto Jack and hold him close while Shara was transforming into Tekkaman Rapier.
(Meanwhile with Bulkhead and Miko)
The cave around the Autobot Wrecker and human began to come down as Bulkhead grew worried a bit. As the cave began to come down Bulkhead saw rocks about to fall on Miko opting the Wrecker to act. Jumping over to Miko Bulkhead covered her with his massive frame and thus the rocks began to fall onto his back.
(Starscream)
The cowardly Air Commander was still flying when the cave began to come down around him. Seeing this Starscream tried to avoid the cave in but to no avail and was soon hit by the rocks forcing him to revert to robot mode. Once he landed on the ground Starscream was wide eyed as he saw the rubble starting to block his escape route. "What?! NO!" Starscream yelled out as his voice echoed around the crumbling cavern.
(Scene Break later with Jack)
Jack began to climb out from where he landed as he was coughing a bit from the event. With him Elita followed out as the Autobot femme was also coughing from the dust in her mouth. "Jack are you ok?" Elita asked as she looked over to Jack with concern.
"Yeah, I'll be fine, Elita." Jack responded as Elita was glad for that. Thus, as they got up Elita looked around hoping to find a way out. "Arcee!" Jack called out but got no response from Arcee save for his echo. "Arcee!" Jack tried again and was once more met by his own echo.
"Arcee respond." Elita spoke into her communicator but got no response from Arcee. "Arcee come in!" Elita ordered but only got static as a response.
"Oh scrap." Jack cursed as he realized they were stuck.
(Meanwhile with Arcee)
Arcee growled a bit as she got out from where she landed. She had a few rocks on her but nothing she could not handle. As she got back up, she heard movement nearby and assuming it was Megatron had her blasters out. Instead, she found it was Tekkaman Rapier climbing out of her own pile of rubble as she grabbed her head no doubt her mind was rattled a bit.
"Shara?" Arcee asked shocked to see Shara there as she looked herself over.
"Arcee!" Shara called out happy to see a familiar face before looking herself over. "I'm happy you're ok but... why did I transform?" Shara asked as Arcee found it curious as well.
"Maybe it was some sort of self-preservation instinct?" Arcee offered as it made sense but still surprising to see.
"Maybe." Rapier agreed for now and thus flew up a bit and landed to speak to Arcee eye to eye. "Anyway, we need to find the others and get out of here." Rapier said and thus Arcee was in, agreement with Rapier before they began to move.
(Bulkhead and Miko)
Miko was coughing from the dust in her mouth as Bulkheads lights were shining on her. "Did I do that?" Bulkhead asked as he looked down worried for Miko.
"No, I don't think so." Miko said as she began to walk about hoping to find a way out of the cave for herself and Bulkhead.
"You, ok?" Bulkhead asked as Miko walked a bit.
"Match. What about you?" Miko asked but was surprised when she saw the position Bulkhead was in.
Currently Bulkhead was holding up the cave so it would not crush Miko. "Peachy." Bulkhead responded as he held the cave up as best, he could.
"Wow!?" Miko gasped as she saw the state Bulkhead was in.
"Don't worry Miko I got it under control." Bulkhead trying to keep Miko calm knowing full well how limited the air was here.
"What do you think caused the cave in?" Miko asked as she was curious over what set it off.
"Who knows I just hope the others are safe because we can definitely use an assist." Bulkhead said as he knew he could only hold the ceiling up for so long.
"Just keep raising that roof Bulk, I'll get us out of here." Miko said with a great deal of confidence before she went to the rubble and started moving stones to open the path.
(Meanwhile back on the surface)
Back at the mine entrance the rubble began to move about until a clawed hand shot out of it. Following it up were some grunts of struggle and frustration until it ended with Starscream outside the rubble. As Starscream got his treads back under him he coughed a bit before looking back at the rubble. The first thing he noticed besides being alive was that he made it out as there were no clear signs of Megatron following him out. This in turn got a great deal of laughter from Starscream as he once again escaped Megatron's wrath. "Predictable, Master? Is that what you called me?" Starscream asked in a taunting tone over his victory over Megatron. "Well now who has hit Rock Bottom?" Starscream went on with his taunts as it was clear to him, he came out on top once more. "Oh, what's that I'm sorry I can't hear you beneath all that rubble!" Starscream gloated as he would forever cherish this as the day Megatron finally got snuffed which only left Nightbird to deal with.
Once Starscream calmed down some he went on with his gloating. "Farewell Lord Megatron! May you rust in peace!" Starscream bid farewell and in turn began to take his leave. But before he could transform, he noticed the second thing about this entire situation. "But you have survived far worse if you managed to free yourself you would blame me for your setback and there is nowhere that I can possibly escape from your wrath." Starscream began as he realized how bad this could turn if Megatron got out of this. "Or Nightbird and the Combaticons come looking and with Nightbird in command of them digging you out will be short order especially if she uses your mindless followers and in turn take credit for your rescue credit that could rightfully be mine!" Starscream ranted and thus it was clear that he had to do despite not wanting to do it. "MEGATRON!" Starscream roared out to the heavens as it was clear he was in a loop at this point.
(Back in the Caverns Jack)
Jack and Elita continued to make their way through the caved in caverns. "Arcee? Bulkhead? Respond." Elita tried again with the communicator only to get static as the response.
"Well?" Jack asked as he looked to Elita.
"The cave in may have damaged my communicator." Elita summarized as she kept trying to contact the others hoping to get a signal through. "We will need to dig ourselves out and soon for your sake." Elita said as she looked to Jack knowing air is limited here for the human.
"Ok how?" Jack asked and thus a rock fell on something metal which got their attention. The duo looked and saw one of the excavation rigs had made it down here with them.
"Does that answer your question, Jack?" Elita asked as she looked to Jack with a smile. the two began to head over to the device as Elita picked up Jack to do so. All the while the duo hoped that the others were doing ok.
(Meanwhile with Rapier and Arcee)
"So why haven't you transformed back?" Arcee asked as she and Rapier were making their way through the caverns to find the others and the exit.
"I can't be sure if there is enough air for me to survive in and even if not, I'm not sure how Cybertronian I am to do so." Shara said which made sense. Cybertronians didn't need air, but Shara was Techno-Organic which meant she may not have the same breathing methods as a Cybertronian.
"So as long as you're in the suit your safe... good to know." Arcee said as she knew for a fact it was well passed the 30-minute mark showing that Shara was not affected by Nick's own weakness.
"Speaking of biology." Rapier began as she used her boosters to hover upward to a higher ledge to continue their trek. "I hope you don't mind me asking but... where do Cybertronian newborns come from?" Shara asked causing Arcee to go wide eyed to this nearly slipping as well.
"What brough this on?" Arcee asked as Rapier was quiet for a moment.
"Lately I was thinking about my mom." Rapier began as Arcee heard her. "I don't have any clear memories of her like my brothers." Rapier said as she sounded sad by it. "Of course, mom died when I was really small hence why I don't have memories of her." Shara added before trailing off a bit. "But I can't stop thinking about her especially after I was reformatted." She said to which she looked to her hand almost expecting to feel her mother's warmth in it. "I guess I'm just wondering what my future will be." She finished and thus Arcee sighed a bit knowing since they were stuck here it might help them pass the time.
"Well on Cybertron we had two methods most used, let's start with the Well of Allsparks." Arcee said and in turn she began a history lesson on the lore of the Allspark and how it creates life on Cybertron.
(Back with Miko and Bulkhead)
Miko was moving another rock as it was clear like how she started they were heavy. But this time it was clear Miko was out of breath and not in the way one would hope. Miko then fell over dropping the rock which caused Bulkhead to panic. "Miko!" Bulkhead called out as he looked to Miko with concern.
"I'm fine I'm strong!" Miko said and thus Bulkhead knew what was happening.
"No, you're not." Bulkhead said as he knew Miko had to stop or else she will use up the last of the air in this cave.
"I just need... to rest for a second, that's all." Miko said before she got back up only to wine and fall back down.
"Miko listen to me there's no fresh air down here." Bulkhead began as Miko heard what he was saying. "If you use up the oxygen too fast..." He trailed off where Miko cut in finishing what he was saying.
"We can suffocate!" She gasped realizing what this meant for them.
With a grunt from his own task Bulkhead had to correct her. "Not 'we,' Miko, you." Bulkhead corrected much to Miko's shock. "Autobots don't need to breath remember?" Bulkhead reminded and thus Miko did remember.
"Right smackdown in outer space." She said before chuckling a bit. "That was cool." Miko said but then went back to trying to catch her breath. "Ok what if I just slowed down and breathed less?" She offered but it was clear that they were running out of air fast.
But as Miko tried to get back to digging them out Bulkhead knew what this meant. "No, you need to stop now." Bulkhead said as he tried to get her to listen.
"I can't Bulk I have to get you out of here." Miko said but could not muster the strength and thus fell and laid against the rocks on her back.
Seeing she was getting weaker Bulkhead began to worry for his charge knowing if they didn't get out of here, she would die. "Miko please don't worry about me." Bulkhead began but stopped when he felt a soreness hit his arms. "I'm fine." Bulkhead said trying to keep Miko calm, but he felt his arms getting sore and with that knew they were running out of time.
(Back with Jack and Elita)
Jack and Elita were at the mining rig as Elita saw it was still operational. "You know how to drive one of these?" Jack asked and thus Elita smirked to this.
Elita then pressed a few buttons and activated it with ease. "The controls are similar to the Dock Tools used back at Iacon." Elita said showing she knew what she was doing. "Now let's roll out." Elita said and thus began to drive the rig to their escape.
(Arcee and Rapier)
"Wait you hear that?" Rapier asked when she heard the sound, of the drill the Cons used to mine Energon with.
"Yeah... sounds like the others found the mining rigs." Arcee said hoping it was them who found it.
"They sound close." Rapier added and thus they knew what to do next.
"Come on we should hurry." Arcee said and thus with a nod Rapier activated her boosters to keep up with Arcee.
(Over with Bulkhead and Miko)
When the sound of the drills was heard Bulkheads, optics widened as he knew that was a good sound. "Do you hear that?" Bulkhead asked as he looked to Miko with hope.
"Sounds like." Miko began but was cut off by Bulkhead.
"Drilling, it's gotta be Arcee and Jack or even Shara and Elita." Bulkhead said and thus Miko got to acting.
"We're here!" Miko tried to cry out, but her voice was weak still.
Seeing they had to act fast Bulkhead had an idea. "Miko grab something and bang it on my foot." Bulkhead ordered knowing what had to be done to save Miko's life. "Can you do that?" Bulkhead asked as his main concern was getting Miko out of here.
Hearing his order Miko grabbed the nearest rock she could and began to carry it over to Bulkhead. Once she got close enough, with some struggle she stopped and looked to the Wrecker. "I don't wanna hurt you." Miko said as Bulkhead knew Miko meant well.
"I know it's hard to believe but I'm tougher than I look." Bulkhead chuckled trying to be lighthearted for Miko's sake. "Now give it all you got." He ordered and thus Miko did as told. She bashed the rock onto his foot and thus when stone met metal the sound resonated through the cave. In turn Miko kept it up in the hopes of attracting the others to their location.
(Back with Jack and Elita)
The duo managed to punch a hole in the wall and in turn moved to call out through it to whoever may listen. But instead, Elita and Jack were wide eyed as they were met with the red eyed face of the Decepticon Warmonger Megatron! Megatron was seen struggling to get free showing he was trapped there good as he then glared at the duo before him. "I suppose helping those less fortunate would be completely out of the question?" Megatron said and was then met with Elita's left-hand blaster pointed at Megatron while she made sure Jack was protected hiding behind her right arm.
"All it would take is one shot." Elita said as she glared at Megatron ready to snuff him out.
"Then you would both be wise but let us face fact that blaster will not give you the desired result." Megatron said giving the duo a proper warning. "If I, were you, I suggest using that drill to run me through I guarantee you will never have a better opportunity than right now." Megatron said urging the two before him to take their best shot at him.
Elita knew her blaster fire may not be enough. After all, Megatron survived a lot worse than a blaster to the face but Primus dammit would it not make her feel better after everything he had caused. "Don't tempt me." Elita snarled as she was very much willing to pull the shot... but something about doing it like this felt... wrong to the Femme.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Think of the glory, seize the day Optimus would," Megatron said which made Elita about to do something until Jack spoken up being the voice of reason as he said, "No he wouldn't. Not like this."
Elita blink to that to what Jack said and… he was right, as she thought to herself, 'He's right, Orion would never do such a thing.'
She lowered her blaster as she soon said to Megatron, "You're not even worth it anyways. Let's go Jack."
Soon enough Elita went back to the driller controllers and turn around before leaving with Jack, letting Megatron go for now, as he was stuck inside a mountain, Megatron wasn't going anywhere for the time being anyways as Leader of the Decepticon yell out to them, "I will be sure to share the details of our little conversation with Optimus, the day I rip out his spark!"
Elita didn't look back as she pull out her blaster and shot above the tunnel that she and jack just dug up, causing some rocks to fall so she didn't have to hear Megatron voice as she said, "That day will never come... ever."
Unknown to them the small tunnel was still intact as Megatron saw the opportunity to reach his arm up to the hole that was made for him as it seemed he had enough wiggle room to do so and started to dig himself out.
(Shara and Arcee)
"And that's how Sparkinglings come to be between two Autobots." Arcee said finishing up her little lesson to Shara on how Sparklings came to be.
"Huh so one method is similar to reincarnation and the other is similar to human sexual reproduction." Shara summarized as Arcee nodded to Shara.
"Exactly." Arcee said until they heard drilling nearby. "Wait you hear that?" Arcee asked and thus Rapier looked over to Arcee knowing what it was.
"Drilling someone is digging with the rig!" Rapier said and thus they began to move in direction of the drill sounds. The duo was following the sound of the drill, that was next to a tunnel the two were using to follow said drill as Shara said, "You think we can meet up to whoever is driving that drill down this way?"
"Not 100% sure but it's better than staying in one place and wait for rescue or none at all," Arcee said as she made a good point as there telling if another cave in would happen as Shara said, "Then let's hurry."
(With Miko and Bulkhead)
Miko was resting for a bit as she raised the rock in her hand again to bang on bulkhead's foot to make more sound to be heard as Bulkhead smile to her as he said, "That a girl."
Miko give another hit before she stopped as she was running out of breath, then soon enough there was a sound that didn't sound like a driller which freak Miko out a bit as she ask, "What was that?"
"Nothing. Go on, keep banging!" Bulkhead said as the sound came again as bulkhead shifted a bit by accident, causing some rocks to fall as some hit him, and luckily missing Miko, but she was soon freaking out as she ed to Bulkhead and said, "Bulkhead, what's happening? Tell me!"
My arms... they're starting to give," Bulkhead said as Miko was shocked by this as if Bulkhead give in not only will he bury in tons of rock, with Miko may be trap as well, or worst she could die.
Bulkhead grunted as he's using all his strength to keep the giant bolder above him from falling as Miko ask him, "Does it hurt?"
"A little," Bulkhead manage to grunt out as his arm started to bend a bit as Miko yells out, "Bulkhead!"
"Help is coming, we just got to guide them here. Hit me again!" Bulkhead said as Miko didn't want to do it as she was hesitating of not wanting to put bulkhead through anymore suffering as Bulkhead said to her, "Miko, do it!"
Soon enough Miko comply as she picked up the rock again and hit Bulkhead's foot a few more times before stopping as the drill sound gotten a bit louder but it hard to tell where it was coming from as Bulkhead said, "Are they any closer?"
"I can't tell. The sound is all..." Miko started to say before she collapsed to her knees then said, "All freaky in here."
Soon enough there was another sound, something like someone is bashing against the rocks that were before the two as bulkhead started to laugh as he yelled out, "Yes!"
"Arcee and Elita found us!" Miko said as she thought it was them but in fact as some rocks were busted through a familiar evil laugh of Starscream was heard as he said, "Put any doubt of my allegiance to rest."
Starscream look through the hole in the rock wall he just made and was surprised to see Bulkhead and Miko instead of Megatron as Miko question," What is he doing down here?"
"Miko, get behind me. Now!" Bulkhead said as Miko gotten up and went behind Bulkhead's leg as Starscream started to bust through into the cavern as he said while walking in, "Well, well, if isn't Bulkhead and his pet vermin. My you do have your hands full, don't you, Autobot?"
"Do whatever you want to me Starscream but let the human go!" Bulkhead demanded as he glared at Starscream.
"No!" Miko called out getting their attention. "I'm not leaving you!" Miko cried out and thus Starscream chuckled to this.
"It appears that the human wishes to remain." Starscream said as he began to give chase to Miko who tried to stay away from the Decepticon fear gripping at her heart.
"Starscream don't push me!" Bulkhead warned as he tried to keep Starscream away from Miko.
"You like playing with the big robots little girl." Starscream taunted with a sinister tone while chasing after Miko. Miko then screamed when Starscream had her cornered. But just as he was about to grab Miko Bulkhead kicked Starscream sending him flying back. But the act caused the weight to come down harder on Bulkhead who held his ground to keep the ceiling from coming down on them. Starscream snarled as he got back up and glared at Bulkhead. "That's it Autobot I will!" Starscream began but was cut off by Bulkhead.
"You'll what? Make me bring down the ceiling on top of all of us." Bulkhead threatened and thus Starscream stopped for a moment. "Run Miko!" Bulkhead warned but instead of running Miko turned her head and hugged Bulkhead's foot.
Starscream smiled sinisterly as he looked down on the human. "Yes, run Miko I would love to see you try, really I would!" Starscream taunted but near the end the sound of the drill was heard only louder suggesting it was close to them now. When Starscream noticed this, he looked for the source and was then hit from behind by the drill which came through holding Jack and Elita on it.
"Bulkhead!" Elita called out as she saw the state Bulkhead was in.
"Commander." Bulkhead said happy to see Elita here.
Elita then glared down upon Starscream and jumped off the miner and got ready. As Starscream was getting up he cried out in shock as he found Elita's blasters pointed straight at him. "On your feet hands up." Elita ordered and thus Starscream did as he was told by the Autobot leader. Once Starscream was back on his feet Elita glared harder at the Decepticon before her. "Your arms higher!" She ordered and thus Starscream realized what this meant for him.
Miko and Jack saw this and figured out what Elita was making Starscream do. "Wow what did we miss." Came a new voice as Jack, Miko, and Bulkhead looked and saw Arcee was here with Rapier as well. "Shara!" Jack called out happy to see Shara was ok.
"Hey Bulk." Arcee greeted as she saw Elita and Bulkhead here.
"Hey Cee." Bulkhead greeted and thus it was clear Starscream had lost.
(Scene Break outside)
The group had been stuck inside the cave for almost two days as Elita, Arcee, and Bulkhead drove out in vehicle mode. Once they were out, they each transformed after letting their partners out. Shara was back in her human form as they looked down on the cave knowing Megatron was still down there.
"We could finish him here and now." Arcee said as she glared down on the scene.
"Shame we didn't bring any grenades." Bulkhead said as he punched his fist into his open palm.
"Would Optimus finish him?" Jack suddenly asked as he looked down to the scene with concern.
"No, he would not... not like this." Elita said as she looked to the scene with a cold look. She knew Optimus better than most and had seen him at his best and at his lowest so she knew better that Optimus would never strike down a defenseless foe even if it was Megatron.
"But Optimus wouldn't rescue him either, right?" Miko asked a bit scared they would go back.
"If the situation was different perhaps, he would." Elita said which got Miko worried. "But knowing Megatron he will undoubtedly dig his way out soon enough." Elita said and thus that was their signal to leave. "Autobots let's return to base." Elita said and thus they all began to head back to base for some long-needed rest and a bit of buffing.
(Meanwhile with Starscream)
Starscream was seen struggling as he held the roof of the cave up as best, he could. But Starscream was no Bulkhead and already he was struggling to keep the roof up. But of course, for a coward in this situation the only reason Starscream held the ceiling up for as long as he could was simply because adrenaline and the cowards' own desires for self-preservation.
Just then Starscream saw a shadow on his form and thus turned to see that Megatron was there glaring at him. "Master your alive thank the Allspark!" Starscream called out as Megatron was looking for the exit at, the moment. But when Megatron did not response Starscream began to grow fearful for his life once more. "I... I did not abandon you master I returned to save you!" Starscream cried out trying to get Megatron to help him.
"Save me?" Megatron asked as he found it hard to believe from Starscream.
Whimpering like an abandoned protoform mewling for its carrier as Starscream begged for his life. "Look into my spark Lord Megatron my intentions were true please have mercy!" Starscream begged and in turn it was anyone's guess if Megatron would forgive Starscream for his past transgressions. But one thing for certain weather Megatron saves Starscream or not no one will EVER let Starscream forget his place was in the ranks of the Decepticons.
