18. Chapter 18 Rise of the New Iacon Knight

Tekkaman Prime

ESKK: Well, here we go a brand-new chapter please enjoy it.

Trigger Warning: This Chapter deals with some stuff such as PTSD and Anxiety Attacks so if any of you feel uncomfortable about it, I suggest waiting till the next chapter to continue reading.

(Start Beach)

Several days after their convoy adventure Team Elita with the Space Knights and their human allies were driving through a beach town. Hound had to stay behind due to the fact his vehicle mode did not promote a calming aura. As they drove Nick was currently inside Ironhide while in his civilian garb. "So why are we out here again?" Lori asked as from the backseat while Miko was in the passenger side of the Autobot.

"Apparently an Iacon Locator Beacon was detected in the area so we're here to check it out." Nick said as he rested his head against his hand while Ironhide drove.

"Yeah, kid so try not to get excited about it." Ironhide said as the main reason the humans were brought along was because of the area the beacon was located at. The ones who were on this mission were Elita, Ironhide, Chromia, Firestar, and Moonracer with Elita leading the team this time. It was strange to find a Beacon out here but no sign of it being a trap yet, but the chances are if they detected it then the Decepticon's were not too far behind.

"Autobots the signal is close by." Elita suddenly spoke as the team them pulled off to the side of the road and into a parking lot. Once they got there the Autobots all parked and began to allow their human allies to depart. Nick was the first to get out as he scouted the area a bit and saw the area was clear.

"Clear." Nick called out and in turn the Autobots let their partners off with Pegas stepping down from the trailer. The humans that accompanied them were Jack, Miko, and Sierra as the Space Knights had Nick, Shara, Lori, and Kicker since Bud was for lack of better terms grounded and Coby had to keep an eye on him. Once they were off the Autobots transformed into Robot Mode as Elita held the scanner for the Iacon signal.

"So according to Misha this area was hit by an earthquake recently, that Earthquake may have caused the relic to be detected but that is yet to be seen." Lori said as Elita began to follow the signal. "This way." Elita ordered and thus they began to move. Pegas walked behind Nick as Miko walked next to the same Tekkaman leader. As they walked of course they were unaware of the Decepticons were near the area looking for the same relic.

(Later)

The group was seen walking across the beach as Jack was doing his part. Now the main reason the three humans were here was simply they needed a cover. It was the weekend, and they were at a beach it made sense for teens to come out this way and it helped for them to run human to human interference.

"So, get this I was doing some part times, getting some cash fast was gunning for some Stan Bush tickets." Miko said as she looked to Nick as he gave her a small look. "And good news I got us a show near Jasper and." Miko began but then they got to a cave area.

"Oh, great another cave." Shara said as she looked the cave remembering their last trip to one.

"Be thankful it's not an Energon mine this time but watch your fire we don't need another cave in." Elita said as Miko gulped a bit at the thought of a cave in.

"Yeah great..." Miko trailed off a bit her voice shaking a bit. She only hesitated for a moment before entering the cave with them making sure to stay close to Nick and Ironhide.

(Inside the cave)

The cave was spacious for them as the Autobots entered the cave. Save for a few the Autobots were able to walk on the stone path in the cave. A few of them were up to their ankles in water but nothing too bad. While they walked Nick noticed that Miko was oddly quiet even timid by glance as she seemed to frantically look around and to the ceiling. "Hey Miko, are you ok?" Nick asked as he looked to Miko with concern.

"Yeah, never better why?" Miko asked as she tried to play off being ok.

"It's just you're looking around like you're expecting something to happen." Nick said as he was worried with how Miko was acting.

"I'm just not a fan of places like this, you never know when you'll find a frisky couple getting it on in here." Miko said as Nick raised his brow to this. "Look let's just find that relic and go home ok." Miko said changing the subject unknowingly proving to Nick that something was wrong with her.

As they followed the signal they eventually got to an indenture in the wall where the signal was strongest. "Ironhide." Elita spoke and thus Ironhide moved in understanding what Elita needed from him.

"Right, I'm on it, commander!" Ironhide said and thus began cracked his knuckles before he began to punch into the wall. As he did so he eventually managed to break through and pull out the relic's containment unit. "One Iacon Relic hold the Cons." Ironhide said as he pulled the Relic out holding it to the Autobots.

"Well, this seems oddly easy." Nick said as Ironhide began to open the Relic. Once the unit was opened the Autobots pulled out its contents. When they did so the Talisman responded getting Nick's attention as it appeared on his hand and opened up sending a neon blue beam to the relic. The Relic was some sort of orb that once the beam hit it caused it to start glowing and in turn displayed a map to the group.

"Wow you don't see that every day." Miko said as she saw the Relic respond to Nick's Iacon Talisman.

"What are we looking at?" Moonracer asked as she saw the image.

As Elita looked at the relic, she recognized several Earth Landmarks on it which by the looks of it was receiving data from somewhere. But if the Talisman responded to it then chances are that the maps end point was related to the Knights of Iacon. "I don't wish to alarm anyone, but I suspect it may lead us to something related to the Knights of Iacon." Elita said and in turn the Autobots all heard this.

"Is that so?" Came a familiar voice and thus the Autobots looked and saw Nightbird leading Knockout, Breakdown, Thunderblast, and several Vehicon Troopers. "I would suggest you hand the relic over and I might consider sparing you and the humans." Nightbird said as she had her battle mask on ready for a fight that would no doubt occur.

"Nightbird," Elita said as she had her guns out ready for actions along with the others as Nick put Miko behind him as he calls out, "Knights on me!"

Kicker, Lori, and Shara stood ready with their crystals in hand while also covering Jack and Sierra behind them, and then Pegas came up to the side of Nick in case he needed to change as well as Nightbird said, "Make this easy for yourself Elita and hand the relic over to us now."

"Not a chance," Elita said as Nightbird give a sinister smile and ordered the Decepticons, "I hope you say that. Attack and retrieve the Relic!"

Soon enough the Decepticons charged in as the Autobots did the same with blaster fire being heard as well.

The space knights took cover with the normal human when the battle started with Nick and Miko stood behind Pegas as he was able to tank blaster shots with ease as he returned fire with his own weapons.

Ironhide was shooting most of the Vehicon troopers that came his way, until suddenly breakdown came up to him and bash him up against the cave wall as he said, "You're not bulkhead but take down a Wrecker like you will be a great honor."

"You can try cyclops, but we wreckers are made of sterner stuff!" Ironhide boasted while switching out his guns for and maces and bashed Breakdown back as they engaged in hand-to-hand combat with mace meeting hammer.

Elita and nightbird engage in combat themselves as they try to overcome the other but ended up blocking and countering each other enough as Nightbird said, "I can't wait to turn you into scrap metal."

"Same old words, same old dance," Elita said as Nightbird give a laugh to her as they push away from each other as the Queen of Cons said to her, "You sure about that?"

With the snap of her fingers, knockout got the signal to pull out a certain performance booster to Elita shock by it as far she can tell it was an energon stars, or at least something like it as it had a different look to it looking like a gear of sort, as Elita said to the Con Queen, "How do you have those?"

"Oh this, well before the rest were shot out of hand and destroyed, I keep one on me hidden as it seem their number were limited, I knew the Decepticon would need more so I gave it to one of our best and had it reverse engineer, it's not like the ones from before, but this will be a good test run for the prototype."

Suddenly she latched on the prototype Decepticon variant Energon star on to her chest as a glow came over her being as Nightbird smile greatly feeling the power of the star giving flowing through her as she raised her blaster up charging up a shot with Elita quickly dodge the shot as nightbird fired.

The blast was strong as it shaken up the entire cave with rocks and stone came down with Miko crying out as she held onto Nick very tightly with him surprise by this, having no idea what was wrong with her. She even cried out more when more shots came from Nightbird blasting out around, causing the cave to shake more as Nick soon call out, "Space knight transform and get everyone out and back to base now!"

Kicker, Lori, and Shara nodded as they understood their orders as they held up their crystals and call out, "TEKK-SETTER!"

A blinding light of many colors flash within the cave as Kicker and Lori grab Jack and Sierra as they quickly flew them out of the cave with Shara came over to Nick was at as he got out of Miko's grab and place her in Shara arms and said, "Take her out now."

"What about you?" Shara asked as Nick said to her, "The only thing I can do right now, and that is to fight, but I can't do that with her here."

Shara nodded as he held Miko closely as Miko cry out, "Wait don't!"

"I'm sorry Miko," Shara said as Miko cry out as she flew in the air in Shara's arms as they fly pass the cons with Pegas giving covering fire as Nick was now alone, he calls out, "Pegas Tekk-Setter!"

"Roger!" Pegas called out as he opened the hatch for Nick to jump into him as the energy field surrounded him as he did so before the hatch close behind him.

Soon enough as Pegas came forth from Pegas as he formed his weapon then call out, "Tekkaman Blade!"

Soon he engaged in combat against the cons himself to hopefully give them opening to escape as he slashed at Breakdown, causing the Con to back away from Ironhide, while giving the big bot an opening to give Breakdown a heavy strike across his face as he went flying back from him.

"Thanks Nick," Ironhide said to him as Blade spoken up saying, "No problem, but we have a bigger issue right now!"

Before he could say anything else, more blast fire came at him and Ironhide, as the two avoided the shots enough and rush back to the others as with Elita, she was still dodging Nightbirds shots while try to return fire, but a shield form over the Decepticon with the shots were not piercing it as Nightbird fire a shot near Elita as the Femme leader gotten out of the way but got caught in the force of the explosion near her, making her drop one of the data memories.

Nightbird quickly gotten to it as she picks it up and said, "You should have given up Elita, but I guess you Autobots will still try to resist the inevitable."

The Con Queen pointed her weapon at Elita and said to her before firing, "It's been fun but it's time for your spark to be snuff out for good."

But before she could the energon star on her suddenly turn to gray and crumble to dust as Nightbird felt her energy drain out of her as she suddenly fell to one knee as she said, "What?"

Confused by this as it seemed that there was a nasty side effect to that Proto Energon star, with Elita seeing this. Taking the chance Elita took advantage of it as she pushed up with her hands, and then kicks Nightbird away from her as she ran while Nightbird soon called out, "Decepticon I need assistance, now!"

The cons saw their leader down as Thunderblast gave covering fire for her leader with Shadowstriker to come in fast and grab Nightbird quickly as they pull her out of danger.

(With the Autobots)

AS they were getting pin down inside the cave, Elita soon calls in as she said, "Team One to Base!"

"I receive you Elita one," Ratchet calls out from the coms as she said, "We need a ground bridge right now! We have the artifact, but we're pin down!"

"Hold out for as long as you can, it's difficult to get your signal as is," Ratchet said as it sounded like he was rushing as fast as he can to open a ground bridge near them, with the Autobots were holding out well enough, with Blade avoiding the shots that were aimed at him as he flew by and taken down some Vehicon troopers with ease, with the others try to get him, but with his size shows he was too small and fast for them of getting a hit on him.

"Hold still you little bug!" Breakdown said as he try aiming for him and get back at the Tekkaman for what he and his Autobot Partner, Ironhide did to him just a moment ago, but Tekkaman blade wouldn't let him and was a little tick of what breakdown said to him, as he flew in close, launch a grappler line onto him and flew around every other con getting them tangle up in his line as he reach the end of it, he suddenly flew towards breakdown, and slash at him.

The big con bot moved out of the way, unaware of the line on him as he trip over it while also bringing down some of their troops down with him with Blade look down at him as he said, "I'm a homo homo-sapient asshole."

After that Blade flew back to the others as he knew it was nearly time for them to leave as the ground bridge suddenly opens up with Elita orders, "Fall back!"

All the Autobots transforms and drive through the ground bridge, as Pegas stand by the bridge waiting for Nick to return as he did, but before he went on through, he opened up his shoulder plates and called out as he fire his attack, "VOLTEKKA!"

A blinding light came forth as the cons saw this and soon take cover as the Voltekka came forth by taking out a few con troops along the way while also causing the cave to collapse on itself as Nick said, "Let go Pegas!"

"Roger!" as Pegas said soon taking to the air as he flew through the ground bridge with Nick landed on his back as they both went through the bridge while it close behind them.

(Autobot base)

Nick came through just in time as a wave of dust came up behind him while the ground bridge closed up as he got off of Pegas and soon reverted back to his human form, while looking to the others seeing them were already back in the base as he said, "Good, we all made it."

"And we are glad for that." Optimus announced as he entered the area.

"What can you tell us of our latest find?" Ratchet asked and in turn presenting the map once more the Autobots looked upon the map. "Intriguing." Ratchet said as everyone looked at the map in question.

"So, what is it, a treasure map?" Arcee asked as she looked to the map curious of its contents.

"We won't know exactly until we can decipher exactly where it leads to." Ratchet said as he looked to the map. "I'll run global scans for locations on Earth that match up to the landmarks presented." Ratchet said and thus got to work.

"Very well old friend." Optimus said with a nod and thus got to work on deciphering the map. Nick went with him to see if the Talisman can be of use in this regard since it was stuck on him for better or worse. This gave the Autobots a brief reprieve to relax as they waited for the doc to figure out the map.

(Meanwhile on the Nemesis)

"Forgive me Lord Megatron, I have failed you." Nightbird said as she kneeled before Megatron.

"You lost the relic?!" Megatron snapped as Nightbird took the scolding feeling she deserved much worse for failure.

"The failure was mine alone as the commanding officer on sight." Nightbird added taking the blame for the situation.

Just then Soundwave approached as he showed the signal of the relic when the Autobots had activated it. "It would seem that this mission was not a total loss." Megatron said as he looked to the signal which was lost. "It seems when its active the relic gives off a unique energy signature that can possibly be tracked down." Megatron said as he looked to Soundwave.

"So that means if the Autobots use it again outside their base." Nightbird began as she looked to Megatron. "Then we can track down the relic and retrieve it and wherever it leads to for the price of one." Nightbird said and thus Soundwave knew what to do on this.

"Isolate that energy signature Soundwave and monitor it for when it reappears." Megatron ordered and thus Soundwave got to work on his lord's order.

(Meanwhile back at the Autobot Base)

Miko was nursing a cup of water after her panic attack as the humans and Tekkaman looked to her with concern. Even the Autobots guardians were worried for the Japanese girl. Miko may deny it, but it was in fact a panic attack which made the group wonder if her being among the Autobots may be having some sort of effect on her.

"So, anyone want to mention the elephant in the room?" Arcee asked as she looked to the others.

"Yeah, I mean Miko having Panic Attack doesn't really sound right." Jack agreed as he knew Miko wasn't the sort to have one of those.

"Observation: her heart rate and blood pressure spiked when we entered the cave and furthermore when the battle began, and the cave rumbled." Pegas announced as he looked to the Autobots.

"We get that, Omega, but why did she flip out?" Arcee asked as then all eyes went to Bulkhead.

Seeing this Bulkhead grew confused for a moment. "What?" Bulkhead asked as he looked to the Autobots.

"Well, you're her guardian what happened to cause this?" Kicker asked being blunt as always.

"I really wish I knew but I'm just as lost as you guys are." Bulkhead said but Shara had a theory on this.

"Maybe it was from the cave in?" Shara offered as she looked to the group.

"Oh, right I remember that." Jack said as Arcee agreed.

"Bulkhead what happened back there that would cause Miko to have this sort of reaction." Nick asked as he cut in and thus Bulkhead recalled it.

"Well, after the cave in I was holding the ceiling up so Miko started to try digging us out." Bulkhead recalled as everyone paid attention. "After a while she was running out of steam not enough fresh air for her to keep it up so when Commander One and Jack were digging, we heard them." Bulkhead said as he recalled the event. "I had her smash a rock on my foot to signal you guys but after a while my arms started to give which I tried avoid telling her at first..." Bulkhead trailed off as he started to see what this caused.

"Being enclosed inside that cave, nearly suffocating, and the fear of being crushed to death adding while being chased by Starscream..." Nick trailed off as he clenched his fist seeing what this may have caused her.

"May have given her Closter phobia at best or PTSD at worse." Shara finished as she realized Miko needed help.

"PTSD?" Firestar asked and thus Nick sighed.

"Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder when you see or experience something mentally taxing that causes you to have panic attacks or to relive those events when something triggers those memories." Shara explained as the Autobots understood now.

"So basically, when a Bot starts to panic after a really bad mission when something triggers the memories of those mission." Arcee said as she recalled several bots who suffered that.

"Basically, but we need to get Miko some counseling before it gets worse." Nick said Elita began to walk up to the group.

"Before what gets worse?" Elita asked as she approached the group.

"Commander One." Arcee began as she looked to Elita. "We think Miko may have had a traumatic response to the situation with the cave in." Arcee said which made Elita go wide eye to this. "It may be why she panicked on the last mission." Arcee said as Elita heard this and had long since noticed Miko panic back there.

"I see..." Elita said as she knew something needed to be done. "Very well I will speak with Optimus about this but until then it's getting late." Elita said and thus had orders to give. "Bulkhead take Miko home and stay curbside if she has some sort of, night terror, as humans would call it, I want you to be there." Elita said and thus Bulkhead nodded.

"Right." Bulkhead said as he would have been there even without permission.

"Ironhide, Arcee I want you to see if you can bring Ms. Darby in tomorrow so she can look at Miko." Elita said as she looked to the two.

"Will we have to tell her about the cave in?" Arcee asked as she was worried about that.

"I'm afraid so, though I would have suspected one of you would have told her already." Elita said as she looked to Jack and Arcee with a stern look both realizing they should have told her sooner.

"Well but..." Jack began but Elita cut him off.

"Jack, you can't avoid it there is no sugar coating it just tell her the truth and own up to it." Elita said and thus Jack saw he was beaten here.

"Alright." Jack said as Nick nodded to this.

"Now then head on out, it's getting late." Elita said and thus the Autobots began to transform.

"Hey Miko time to go home!" Bulkhead called out and thus Miko nodded.

"Coming." Miko responded and thus headed over to Bulkhead. Once that was done everyone began heading home. But as Miko left she still looked a bit shaken over what happened and thus the Autobots especially Nick and Bulkhead hoped she would pull through.

(Scene Break that Evening Miko Dreamscape)

Miko was in her room her host parents provided her as she was dressed in her sleep wear for the evening. Her current sleepwear comprised of a pair of panties and T-Shirt as her hair was also out of its normal tails. As Miko was tossing and turning her dreams were not something she was enjoying.

In her dreams Miko was running through a dark place as she was frantic about it. As she kept moving through this unknown place, she suddenly felt the walls of the place moving in on her as the air was thinning out. Gasping for air Miko tried to breath but she felt the tightening of her lungs much like back in the cave in. She kept moving trying to control her breathing only for the cave to grew smaller as Miko felt the walls were closing in on her. Soon it got to the point Miko had to crouch a bit as she kept moving trying desperately to find the exit.

But alas it would be for not as soon Miko found herself forced into a fetal position as the walls closed in on her to that point. She could hardly breath as she looked barely able to move as she tried to get herself freed. But she could not and in her panicked state she hit her hands on the walls trying to escape from it.

"Miko..." A voice whispered but Miko was so deep in panic. "Miko." The voice repeated as Miko tried to get out. "MIKO!"

(Waking World)

Miko woke up with a shock as she got up and quickly tried to gather herself. Looking around Miko was confused as she saw it was a bit passed midnight. She then looked outside her bedroom window and saw Bulkhead's face. "Bulkhead what are you doing here?" Miko asked as she looked confused.

"Commander's orders." Bulkhead said as he tried to come up with a reason. "You ok you looked like you were having a nightmare." Bulkhead said as he looked to Miko.

"I... I'll be fine." Miko said as she denied the fact, that she was having these problems. Until now it hadn't even been much of a problem after the cave in and Miko both stubborn and prideful refused to acknowledge it.

Bulkhead wasn't convinced on the matter but decided not to push it and alienate Miko. "Alright but you know I'm here if you need to talk." Bulkhead said as he had seen a few good Wreckers leave after a mission gone bad. Hound and Ironhide can both attest to that.

"I know." Miko said with a nod and thus Bulkhead took his leave to part for the night. Better to keep an eye on the girl if he was nearby. Once he was gone Miko went back to sleep or at least tried to sleep as she hoped her dreams would not cause her such distress again.

(Scene Break the next day at base)

"So, you six were scouting an abandoned Energon Mine, and Jack you went in despite Arcee warning you about the danger, and you two both let it happen?" Jun ranted as Elita, Arcee, Jack, and Shara were being given a tongue lashing by June Darby. "And what's worse none of you told me?!" June went on and thus Elita sighed.

"An error on my part I shall admit, I had thought Arcee, or Jack would have told you and if not, Shara would have." Elita said as she admitted to her role in this. "But in hindsight Megatron and Starscream had shown up after we entered so in all likely hood, they would have been in more danger by staying outside." Elita said as she knew how that mission turned out.

"I want to argue this but..." June said rubbing her eyes in frustration.

"I assure you Nurse Darby; it will NOT be happening again." Elita said as she looked to June.

"Make sure it doesn't." June agreed as she respected Elita. Ever since the Femme leader arrived Elita had become the basic mom of the Autobots and whenever the troops or kids acted out, she was there in the event Optimus was not. "By the way where are Miko and Bulkhead?" June asked as she needed to talk to Miko about her panic attack. While June was not a therapist, she needed to make sure Miko was not going to become worse.

"I know where she is." Jack said as he raised his hand.

(Meanwhile with Miko and Bulkhead)

"Ready for some Dune Bashing Bulk?" Miko asked as she was inside Bulkhead ready to go downhill for a ride.

"Miko that's not why we came out here." Bulkhead said hoping Miko would open up to what was happening.

"Jeez you sound like Nick, I told you I'm fine, totally fine." Miko said as she got ready to bash.

"Last night said otherwise." Bulkhead said as he knew the signs and Miko was showing some of them.

"Less talking more bashing!" Miko called out and sighing in defeat Bulkhead went ahead.

Miko cheered as she felt how Bulk rumbled down the hill. Bulk felt happy to see Miko enjoying herself, but it seems the fun had to stop. At first Miko didn't show it, but she felt off somehow as soon blinking and twisting her head she swore something wasn't right. The rumbling the enclosed space started to change around her as Miko soon found herself back in the cave.

"Bulk stop something is wrong BULK!" Miko cried out just as they reached the bottom and in turn Bulkhead panicked.

"Miko!" Bulkhead cried out as soon Miko got the seatbelt off and zoomed out of the passenger seat. She stumbled out and fell to her knees hyperventilating like back in the cave.

"Miko, what's wrong Miko!" Bulkhead asked going robot mode trying to help Miko.

"The cave in how do, we, how did, we get out?" Miko stuttered as from Bulkheads' view Miko look vulnerable right now.

"Miko what are you talking about, we aren't at the Energon Mine anymore." Bulkhead said calmly as he looked to Miko with concern.

"I don't know maybe the Cons made some human busting weapon." Miko tried to rationalize as she felt like she was back at the cave in. "We need to get away Starscream!" Miko cried out but it was clear to Bulkhead what was going on.

"Bulkhead to base I need a bridge now!" Bulkhead called to the base as he kept an optic on Miko.

"Yeah, Doc Bot he'll figure out what the Cons did." Miko said as Bulkhead felt that was not what was happening.

"Miko, I don't think the cons did this at least not directly." Bulkhead said and Miko looked confused. "Miko, I think that cave in from before did more than you think." Bulkhead said but Miko was clearly not accepting it.

"I told you I'm fine we got out and I'm fine!" Miko yelled surprised at how she snapped like that. Calming herself down a bit Miko focused on the current stuff knowing Ratchet will even agree with her. "Once we get back to base, Doc Bot and Nurse Femme will figure out what the Cons did and fix it." Miko said and in turn Bulkhead felt it was not going to be the case.

(Later back at base)

Lifeline, Ratchet, and June had all given Miko a proper look over for any chemical agent the Cons may have used on her. "Well, I've run every diagnostic I could on Miko, and I have found nothing." Ratchet said as he knew Miko was in denial.

"I worked with June on running the human parts of it and it turned up nothing also." Lifeline said and thus Miko looked confused.

"So maybe I ate something I shouldn't or have an allergy I didn't know about." Miko tried to defend but even June could see what had happened.

"Miko... there's no straightforward way to say this but... you had a severe anxiety attack." Lifeline explained hoping Miko would listen.

"Me?!" Miko asked as even Jack was surprised.

"Uh we're talking about Miko right?" Jack asked as he found it hard to believe someone like Miko had an Anxiety attack.

"It's not that far out there." Shara said as she sat nearby with Nick watching everything go on. After all she would know as did Nick since they both had to deal with Radan and Cain on a semi regular basis.

"Look I don't get anxiety attacks, maybe you guys missed something scan again." Miko denied as she clearly did not want to acknowledge it.

"Miko." Nick began as he looked to Miko. "there's no shame in being afraid." Nick began but Miko shot up glaring at Nick.

"I'm NOT afraid!" Miko defended and in turn headed out clearly denying it.

As Miko stormed off Nick looked to her with concern as even Kicker had to step away from her. "Geez." Nick sighed and thus he looked to June. "Ms. Darby sorry I have to ask but do you know how to deal with this?" Nick asked and thus June sighed.

"No, I don't but I do know a few people who may give me a few clues." June said as she did work on ER and of course had a few people brought in due to suicide attempts. "I'll try to see if I can get in touch with them the rest of you... try to keep an eye on her but give her some space." June said knowing whatever Miko was going through she needed support.

(Later)

June headed out to speak to those she knew while Nick went looking for Miko with Pegas in tow. Elita of course contacted Fowler to see if there was some way, he can get Miko to talk to someone about this. Fowler of course was not happy about how it happened but was more than happy to help either way. Currently the group was on the catwalk in the area set up for them as the group was having a video game tournament between them. Nick stayed out of it this time around as Pegas simply observed in confusion as he never played video games before, be it in this life or back on Cybertron when he was Omega Supreme.

With the Autobots were going over the map provided by the newly founded artifact with Perceptor was going over of what they found out with team prime, Team one, and Jetfire who was representing the Arial bot team, a few members of the space knights while the rest were doing their video game tournament with the normal teens, and lastly their handler agent Witwicki were present to see what the situation with this map she was told of.

She was there due to being told of it was Nick's talisman that activated the artifact and would most likely needed to be on this mission to activate the artifact again when and if needed as Perceptor said, "According to this map, is it of no doubt one of earth, but in an early period of its time as the continents are still shifting and moving apart."

"So, what, we don't know anything then?" Lori asked with Ratchet said, "On the contrary, we have found out something, thanks to Misha giving us detail of earth within its Pangaea stage, calculated was earth had look like before, reversing the continent drift until we found a match."

Misha type something up to show an image on the screen of the world with the Continent were coming back together forming into one giant landmass, but it was stop apart of the way to show it was match up to the map of the artifact itself as Perceptor said, "With this we can calculate the exact location of where the point on the map is located at as we go back forward."

Soon enough the image shows the continents as they are in present time with the dot on the map moved as well and show the location where the artifact was pointing to it was south-east of the United Kingdom as Nick said, "Great Britain."

"Britain? Isn't that a bit… cliché?" Kicker asked as most of the human part of the large group would know this as Britain was the home of the ruin kingdom of Camelot as its ruler King Author wielded a magical sword known as Excalibur, with Nick was a bit… undesiring about the whole Camelot stuff.

Yes he has a talisman that can transform into a mighty sword that could match up to the powers of a Tekkaman, and improve it too, if giving the newly Tekkaman their finish form is any clue to that, so comparing that to the legendary sword of Excalibur seem to be something to think about but for Nick, they are just bed time stories.

"Regardless, if it is Cliché, the map is leading us there for a reason, so its best we get ourselves ready and prepared for anything," Misha said as Coby ask, "Okay should we be worried about the locals or something?"

"Not to worry on that, the location of the spot is located outside of any human settlements, a forest area mostly," Perceptor as Bulkhead said, "If it's that far out, then no doubt this would be easy, but if any Decepticons or Radan do show up, they will be sorry to mess with us."

"Don't process more than you can handle bulk, or else you could be tasting dirt instead of energon," Ironhide said as Nick said, "A good chance Radan could be on the lookout for us, so we might need to keep flying to a minimal.

"I agree Nick and being low on energon as it is, Jetfire, you and the other Arial bots you are only on standby here, in case the Radan do attack, for the rest can handle any Decepticon threats," Optimus said to him as Jetfire nodded as he understand, with Pegas being the only flyer and doesn't take as much energon to fly around he could be the only air support around to add in the others.

"Nick, you and the space knight would take point to scan for any Radan life in the area," Optimus said to Nick as he nodded while understanding the situation as he said, "Got it."

"Oh, can I come, I could try Coby's bug bot and get a real field test for it!" Miko said sounding back to her normal self, but everyone was silent to this as Bulkhead said, "Miko, that not a good idea."

"Come on, why not?" Miko ask as she sounded like she really did want to go as Nick, "If this was taking place near a town or a city of sort, you can the others can come for human interference, but sense it not, there's no reason for you to come."

"Come on, this is just walk in the park, I doubt the cons would be there, and you can take care of those alien bugs like they are nothing," Miko said as Nick said to her, "It's dangerous enough as it is, and if you were to have another episode like this morning, you would only be a burden on this mission."

After hearing this Miko got mad at Nick as she said to him, "Hey I did not have an episode, nothing is wrong with me."

"And you think you can handle the pressure, if we come to an enclose space and you freeze up, then what? Let me just tell you to save you the time," Nick said as he took a breath and went on saying, "You could die Miko, this isn't a video game where you get an extra life, its real life and it's not pleasant to those who are afraid."

"Would you stop bringing that up, I'm not afraid of anything," Miko said while being in denial of her fear as Nick said, "saying that won't help you get over anything Miko. You're staying here and that's final. End of story."

"I'm not…" Miko started to say until Nick cut her off as he said, "End of story!"

Miko ball up her fist, turn away and walk off again with an upset look on her face as agent Witwicki came up and ask, "Did something happen between you two?"

"No, just had a disagreement, that's all," Nick said as Mikayla said to him, "I hope so, otherwise this might not end well with you."

"Rachet open the Ground Bridge." Optimus said as it was time to go.

With a nod Rachet got the coordinates set and in turn opened the Ground Bridge. The swirling portal opened and in turn the designated team was chosen for this mission. "Bulkhead, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Arcee, Moonracer, and Elita Transform and roll out!" Optimus ordered and in turn the Autobots transformed and drove off into the portal with Pegas back on his trail attached to Ironhide as well as the Tekkaman in tow.

As they were about to drive in though Miko glanced and in turn opted to do as Miko always does and disobey orders... again. Charging to the portal Miko was all but sprinting to it as Sierra saw this. "We got a runner!" Sierra called out and thus the humans tried to stop Miko's escape attempt. She jumped towards Ironhide and with a slide jump she got into his trailer just before he began driving.

(Scene Break Britain)

The Ground Bridge opened up and in turn the Autobot drove out and once they came through transformed into robot mode. Once they were out after the Tekkaman left the Autobots seats Optimus began to give orders. "Elita the relic." Optimus said and with a nod Elita pulled out the relic and in turn Nick presented the Talisman again. The two items linked up and thus showed the map which zeroes in on the location of their target.

"This way." Optimus ordered and thus the Autobots got moving in the direction of where the Map pointed with Nick joining Elita's shoulder.

(Meanwhile on the Nemesis)

Soundwave saw the signal pop up again and in turn the Decepticons knew what this meant for them. "Ah Autobots always so predictable." Megatron said and in turn turned to Soundwave. "Soundwave lock on to those coordinates." Megatron ordered and thus the Decepticons were preparing to mobilize.

(Autobots)

The Autobots were heading to their destination as they continued to keep their eyes peeled for any situation that may arise. While walking they seemed to be discussing about the location and what they might find there. "So, any clue what's at our destination?" Arcee asked as she had her blasters ready just in case.

"No clue but it must be important though." Moonracer shrugged as she wasn't sure on what's there either.

"Maybe it's a huge battle suit." Miko was suddenly heard causing the Autobots to turn and see Miko at the back of the group.

"MIKO!" Elita scolded as this got Miko to flinch when Elita gave her the femme leaders famous mom glare. "What are you doing here?" Elita asked as she glared at Miko. "You were supposed to stay at base." Elita added no doubt disappointed with Miko for this stunt.

"Uh..." Miko tried to say something to excuse herself but clearly, she was in trouble here.

But before any calls could be made for a ground bridge to send Miko back the sound of jet engines, were heard. Looking to the source the Autobots and Space Knights saw Decepticons flying in and no doubt with one target in mind. "Autobots get to cover!" Optimus ordered and thus the Bots all got to varying covers as the Decepticons began to open fire on the Autobots. Once they got to cover ensuring that their human allies were safe returned fire.

Leading the attack was Nightbird and Slipstream as the two fliers brought a battalion of Vehicon Troopers with them. Clearly the Decepticons wanted whatever the map was leading to and for good or ill they would have it. Despite this the Autobots stood their ground as they kept their humans safe as much as possible.

The Deceptions open fire upon the group as they attempted to destroy them and get the artifact from them as Elita handed Pegas the relic as she said to him, "Hold onto this for now Pegas."

"Roger!" Pegas said as Elita Also quickly put Nick down from her shoulder to the ground, as he soon ran off with Elita turn to the battle as she pulled her blasters out and started firing at the Con.

Nightbird turn her attention towards Elita, seeing her pray as she was shooting down the Vehicon as she said, "Why is it that all of you are this pathetic. Decepticons, Power yourselves up!"

Soon enough some of the Vehicons pull out a prototype energon star like Nightbird had, no doubt more test pieces as they attach them to their bodies as they started to give a glow as soon enough each of them produced a barrier that protected them from the Autobots shots and protected their fellow Deception as they advance forward as Ironhide said, "Oh great."

Soon enough everyone was getting blasted at by the Cons as everyone take cover quickly as they could, with the space knights soon ran for cover, with Nick grabbing Miko and try to get her to cover as he said to her, "Miko, let go! Pegas move!"

"Roger," he said as the two humans ran as fast as they could with Pegas following them as he helped cover them while also holding onto the artifact as they get to cover with blast raining down upon them.

Elita kept up the attack as she shot a few cons that didn't have an energon star, with Nightbird flying towards her as she called out getting her attention, "Time for you to be destroy Elita!"

"You can try," Elita said as the two femme bots went at each other as they fire upon one another; with Nightbird transform, both femme bots raise a fist at each other before punch at each other fist.

(Nick)

Nick, Miko, and Pegas were hiding behind cover as another shot nearly hit them as Miko scream a bit while holding close to Nick as she said, "There's too many of them."

"At this rate, we may not even reach the location area. Looks like we're fighting after all," Nick said as he put a hand to his helmet as he called out to the others and said, "Space knights, transform and support the Autobots!"

(Space Knights)

As Nick order went out, soon enough Lori, Cody, Kicker, and Shara from their location pull out their Tekk-set crystal as they call out, "TEKK-SETTER!"

The entire being glow as parts of their armor break apart with their Tekkaman armor soon form around them.

From 4 different location a steam of colors came forth and attack the Decepticons groups as they destroy a few cons with Kicker call out while cutting a Vehicon in half with his huge sword as he calls out, "Tekkaman Claymore!"

Cody hit a few Cons with his hammers as they went flying back against one another while he calls out, "Tekkaman Hammer!"

Lori came at a few cons with her scythe weapon as she cut them down fast before giving her weapon a swing while she said, "Tekkaman Scythe!"

Lastly Shara as she stabbed a few cons with her weapon while also summon forth some energon rope and tied a few up at their feet before making them trip as she said, "Tekkaman Rapier!"

The tide of battle had change once again as the cons stop firing upon the Autobots, giving them room to fight again as they came out from their spot and return fire.

(Nick)

Nick smile as he saw the Space knights were counter attacking the Decepticons as he said, "Good now I can-

"Hey look over there!" Miko called out, catching nick's attention as she pointed out a large ruin of some sort nearby, pass the tree as he said, "Wait is that what I think it is?"

Getting a better look to see it was a large castle of sort, it was amazing that it was still standing, with no idea how long it's been out there in the first place, as he thought for a moment before he turn to Pegas as he held the Artifact in his hand as Nick came over and called out, "Pegas bring the thing closer to me!"

"Roger!" Pegas said as he held the Artifact near Nick as he held up his talisman as they interact with each other again, showing the map once again as it show the location, Nick pull out a compass to check the location on the map and his own while figuring out the direction of the map location spot as he saw the area match up as he said, "It's the castle."

(The battle)

Nightbird and Elita keep fighting against each other as they try to punch, blast, or slash at one another with a mix of weapons in their hands before they part away from each other for a moment.

With Nightbird keep her eyes on Elita for a bit, suddenly something in her eye view is shown the signal of the artifact is being use again as she turned to the location and saw some light shining from the trees as she smiled a bit and said, "Found it!"

She tried to go after it as Elita manage to stop her but cutting her off a bit as she said to the Con Queen, "Where do you think you're going?"

"To retrieve the prize artifact dear Elita, now Slipstream cover me!" Nightbird called out as Slipstream is flying over to her leader while firing a few missiles at Elita, with the Autobot co leader got out of the way of the missile as it exploded with Nightbird ran over to the artifact is at.

(Nick)

Nick pulled the talisman away as the artifact stop glowing while he said, "Let get moving to that castle, it may be the place we are looking for."

Soon enough a blast is heard as one nearly hit them, with Nick quickly look over and saw Nightbird coming at them, as Nick grit his teeth and said, "Great, Pegas, transform and fly us out of here!"

"Roger!" as Pegas soon transform while holding the artifact, no doubt being safe inside the Tek-setter chamber that wasn't in use at least, as he hover in the air with Nick and Miko quickly jump onto the robot and flew out of there towards the castle, as Nightbird just missed them as she fire at them again, she reach the area seeing the two human and their robotic ally flying away, Nightbird cry out in anger before she transform and flew after them.

(The battle)

Elita kept dodging Slipstream missiles no doubt to keep her distracted as she had enough as she aim her blasters at the arial con and take a shot, hitting one of her wings, as Slipstream cry out while she started smoking and falling to the ground.

The Femme flyer transform into her robot mode as she hit the ground hard, giving out a small cry as dust and dirt shot into the air before she groaned a bit, with Elita smiling to this before she transformed and drive off where Nightbird was heading off towards.

(Nick and Miko)

Pegas flew the couple towards the castle as fast as he could, with Nick holding onto Miko the best he can, as she wasn't wearing a battle suit herself, she was expose to the Force being push on them as he calls out, "Hold on Miko, we're almost there."

Suddenly they got fire at as Pegas dodge it, Nick looked back and see the Queen con coming after them as he said, "Great, what does it take to get away from her?"

"Hand over the Artifact human!" nightbird called out, as it was clear that she was really determined to get it as Nick said, "How about you fly off instead, wait no, how about you crash land instead!"

Nick reach over to apart of Pegas and pull out a small cannon that looks similar to Sol Tekkaman's weapon, no doubt an added addition to Pegas as Nick aimed and fire a small voltekka shot as it came at Nightbird as she try to dodge it, only for it to explode near her, throwing her off a bit as she flew down before transforming to catch herself while she landed on the ground.

Miko was surprised to see that as she said, "Whoa, where did you get that D-boy?"

"Something I had requested put into Pegas in case I needed a weapon outside my Tekkaman form," Nick said as he look at the barrel of the weapon as it started to smoke while giving a spark a bit as Miko said, "Why not pull that before?"

Nick tossed it away before it exploded in the air, surprising Miko a bit as Nick said, "It was a prototype weapon from the Sol Tekkaman weapon design, it held a lot of power for something so small, but it couldn't contain it that well, at best I only had one shot before it blew."

"Oh," Miko said as they soon arrived at the castle while flying above it, Nick called out saying, "Pegas, take us down."

"Roger," Pegas said as he slowed down while coming into the castle ruins, nearing the ground, the two jump off of Pegas before he transformed into his robot mode as Miko said, "So what now?"

"Now, we look for something cybertronian-ish," Nick said as he didn't know what else to look for as Pegas held the artifact still as they explore the ruins unaware to them someone was close behind them.

Nightbird flew into the ruins as well as she, change back into her robot form and look around for the two human and Pegas as she said, "When I get my hand on that human, I'll tear him apart."

The femme con walk through the ruin starting her hunt to find the two human and their robot and claim the artifact for the Decepticons.

(The battle)

Both sides were at a stall mate with the cons using those Energon stars, they could not be touch at all until they started to lose their glow and turn gray before crumbling to dust to show their power had run out.

After that, the cons lost all of their energy to fight, as the Autobots take notice of this as Ironhide said, "Hey Bulkhead, seems they're losing their steam."

"You, thinking what I'm, thinking" Bulkhead said as Ironhide nodded as soon enough both of them came out of their cover and charge at the cons, as Bulkhead came in smashing while Ironhide was blasting.

Seeing this Optimus knew what was going down. "Autobots provide Ironhide and Bulkhead cover!" Optimus ordered and in turn the Autobots did as told. The Autobots provided the two Wreckers with cover fire as they began to blast and bash their way through the weakened Decepticons. The Autobots kept up their work as the Cons were no doubt still weakened from the Energon Star's side effects.

It wasn't long before the Vehicons found their numbers squashed as Slipstream saw that her numbers were falling. "Scrap this!" Slipstream snarled before transforming into her jet form and flying off. No doubt pulling a Starscream to live and fight another day. Hopefully Nightbird got the memo to fallback soon as Slipstream tried to contact her.

The two wreckers regrouped, and fist bumped each other as they grinned over their victory. "So, who do we call for clean up?" Ironhide asked as it was clear they won for now.

(Back with Nick and Miko)

Nick and Miko were exploring the castle with Pegas holding the map as they made their way through. "Miko of all the reckless thing's you've done this is really pushing it." Nick said as he kept looking for the relic.

"Really we're talking about this now?" Miko asked as she grabbed a random helmet and tossed it.

"Yes, because I don't understand you need to constantly and needlessly put yourself in harm's way." Nick said as he looked to Miko. "I know you're not fond of your host family Miko but what about your family back home the parents and two cats?" Nick asked and in turn Miko was quiet about this.

"I mean Bulkhead would have." Miko began but Nick cut him off.

"And what if he couldn't you're stuck in the crossfire and a stray shot hits you then what?!" Nick snapped as this caused Miko to be quiet. "I envy you Miko I envy all of our friends because you all still have what me and Shara lost." Nick said his voice growing quiet as Miko realized why Nick was angry at her. "I lost everything Miko, Shara is all I have left and the pain of losing all your friends and loved ones... I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemies." Nick said and thus Miko grew quiet from that as she realized Nick was just trying to spare her from a similar pain.

"Well glad to see you two are starting to kiss and make up." Came a new voice and thus the trio looked and saw Elita standing there.

"Elita." Miko gasped as she was happy to see the Femme Leader.

"Any words from the others?" Nick asked as he looked to the femme leader.

"None but I do know Nightbird had chased us here, so we need to hurry." Elita said and thus Nick sighed and then noticed an open door. Going in with Pegas following Nick entered the larger room.

"Wow bro what's up?" Miko asked as she saw Nick enter a room.

"I'm not sure I'll let you know when I figure it out." Nick said as he felt drawn to this room somehow and upon entering noticed the massive table in the center of it.

"Cool." Miko said as she saw the large table while Elita lowered her body a bit to enter the room. "This is so King Arthur." Miko said as she saw the swords on the table.

"Observation: Drawings on the Walls Cybertronian." Pegas said and thus they all looked to the wall drawings.

"You're right." Elita said as she looked to the images.

"What does it say?" Nick asked as he looked curious about it.

"It's telling a story." Elita said as she began to read it. "It tells of a war between humans and how beings and beasts from beyond the stars changed the tides." Elita said as she read through it. "Predacons!?" Elita asked shocked as she saw images of beast's vs beasts. From what they saw it showed humans with swords and spears fighting side by side with 12 Knights and beasts of mythology against an army of humans and beasts.

"W-what does it mean?" Miko asked and thus Elita had the answer.

"It means that Earth and Cybertron have been linked for a very long time." Elita announced as she looked back to the humans just as Nick put his hand on the table.

When Nick's hand touched the table to the shock of many the Talisman moved to it and thus caused the entire table to glow with the swords raising off the table. Elita gave it a closer look and upon realization she saw it had come from Cybertron. "Pegas the map." Elita ordered and in turn Pegas lifted it up.

Once the Map was lifted it began to glow and levitated to the center of the table where a deep groove was seen. Once the map joined with it the entire table began to glow and with it the room began to rumble. Miko went wide eyed as she was close to panicking as she felt like the entire place was about to come down.

"What's going on?!" Nick asked as he tried to make sense of this.

Just then the pathway at the end began to open up as machines not used in centuries began to come to life. As the path showed itself it broke through the ground and in turn showed a path that led underground. "Guess we need to go down." Elita said after everything began to calm down once more.

"Seems that way." Nick said before he noticed Miko beginning to freeze up once more. "Miko?" Nick asked as he looked to the girl.

Just then the wall behind them blasted apart showing Nightbird coming through causing Elita to go wide eyed. "Nick, Miko run!" Elita ordered and thus went after Nightbird to hold her back.

"Miko, we need to leave now!" Nick called out as he took her hand and began to pill her to the cave.

"No! No! There has to be another way!" Miko called out and thus it was clear she was having a near panic attack.

Unfortunately, Nick didn't have the time to deal with it at the moment. "Pegas!" Nick said and in turn Pegas picked Miko up and thus they began to enter the cave leaving Elita and Nightbird by themselves. As the trio made their escape, they could hear the sound of Nightbird and Elita doing battle as Elita kept Nightbird at bay while awaiting, for backup to arrive.

Meanwhile with Nick, Miko, and Pegas ran as fast as they could, deeper into the cave with many turns and wobbles on the path as they went with Miko was freaking out as she looked at the ceiling of the cave as it seemed it was getting a bit lower, and it was getting harder to see as she said, "Stop… stop! I said stop!"

Pegas suddenly stops with nick as well as he turned to Miko who was getting out of Pegas arms as she jumped down and seem too started to hyperventilate as she started to say, "I need to get out, I can't breathe, I can't- I can't…"

Nick quickly rushes over to Miko and hold her as Miko try to push Nick away as he said, "Miko calm down, you're safe, you are alright."

"No let me go! There's not enough room! I can't be here anymore!" Miko said while started crying as Nick suddenly pull her into a hug and held her tightly and said, "Miko, deep breath, just take a deep breath!"

Miko did so but it was hard for her to keep it in as Nick keep on saying to her, "Breath deep and slowly in, and let it out smoothly." With Miko did what Nick told her as she breath in slowly and deeply while letting out in an almost sobbing way as Nick rub his hand up and down Miko's back and said, "Good, you're doing good, just keep doing it."

Miko keep breathing in and out slowly as she could, as she calmed down, but her body was still shaking a bit as Nick said to her, "I know you're afraid Miko, that's fine it's perfectly normal. You don't have to emit it, but just know I am here with you in this place, I'll be here to keep you safe, and if something does happen, I promise to get you out as soon as possible, leave behind what is down here and get you to safety, I promise you that."

Miko didn't know what to say or do other than wrapping her arms around Nick and held him close as they stay there for the moment while fighting can be heard down the tunnel while it also shakes a bit with the sound of blaster fire that came way above the cave with nothing but dust coming down around with Pegas giving them as much light as possible as Miko soon said, "I'm scared."

"I know," Nick said as he kept holding Miko close as he soon let off and said, "But I will be here with you, every step of the way. The closer we get to the next chamber the soon we can get out of here… sound good?"

Miko nodded as Nick held Miko's hand as he looked to Pegas and said, "Let move, keep the light shining ahead Pegas."

"Roger," Pegas said as they soon continued down the tunnel cave as they would soon come to the next part.

(Elita and Nightbird)

The two femmes keep fighting once another as they keep it to hand-to-hand combat knowing if they used their blasters would no doubt cause a collapse and lose their only path to whatever is hidden below the castle.

"Just give up Nightbird, you're never getting by me!" Elita proclaimed as Nightbird said to her, "You may try stand in our way Autobot scum, but sooner or later I will claim whatever relic is hidden down here either by taking it or claiming from the corpse of those humans."

Elita's hand balled tightly as there was a slight sound of metal creaking before she charge at Nightbird as the two started to fight again as Elita was getting a slight upper hand in the battle, but nightbird wasn't giving up so easily as she didn't something unexpected as she gotten in close while transforming her hand into a blaster, and soon shot at their feet, causing dust to come up, creating a smoke screen for herself as Nightbird suddenly transform and flew down the tunnel way as Elita saw this, she quickly transform herself and drive down the path hoping to catch up soon or else Nick and Miko could be in great danger.

Nightbird cannot go her full speed within the tunnels, as if she does will no doubt result in her crashing with this giving Elita time to catch up as she said, "You're not getting away!"

"Do you ever give up Elita!?" Nightbird said as she try to fly away as fast as she could but the tunnels were getting smaller for her as she was force to slow down that gave Elita an open as she suddenly transform into her robot form while she leap at the femme Con and grab onto her back side catching a ride on her as she said, "Let me go Autobot scum!"

(Meanwhile back in the tunnel)

Nick, Miko, and Pegas soon reach a doorway as Nick smile in relief that they finally made it as he said, "We're here?"

"How do we get in?" Miko asked sounding still scared as Nick look around then saw something on the far wall as he said, "Pegas, shine the light over here."

Pegas did so as Nick was looking over the wall as he was trying to get an good understanding of things as there were Cybertronian wording that he didn't understand what they meant, with Miko soon joining with Nick to figure out how to open the door but thankfully with the words came with images that he soon understand as he saw a person with a talisman himself it seems as he held it up to the same door they were at and held up to an imprint on the wall as so the last showing the door was opening, as Nick soon get the idea that his talisman was the next key.

Before he could find it, Miko saw a lever on the wall for some reason as she went over to it as she asked, "I think I found the door handle."

"Hm?" Nick went as he look over as Miko reach over to the lever to pull it, Nick stopped her as he said, "Wait don't touch that!"

Miko stop as she pulled the lever halfway as Nick let out a breath of relief to that, but it was soon short lived as they heard the sound of jet engines as they turn to see nightbird was coming and with Elita literally on top of her as Miko gasp to this as while also accidently pull the lever fully down which activated a trap.

A huge metal wall started to come down upon the group with Elita and Nightbird flew in as Elita said, "Watch out!"

The two teen ran for it while Nightbird and Elita ran into Pegas as he try to help stop them from crashing, as he did catch them and with his great strength held them back, but his size proven was not enough as he was soon force back and soon crash into the wall on the other side of the teens, as soon enough the metal wall soon fully close trapping the group in the room they were in now.

After that Nick recover and saw Miko was in his arms safe while she was holding him closely, he could only smile to this as he saw Miko was safe.

He couldn't say the same for Pegas as he saw his robotic companion down and a bit wreck up as he called out, "Pegas!"

Nick rush over to him and check up on him, his arms and legs were busted up a bit thankfully the chest was still intact, as he soon asked, "Pegas, give me status update!"

"Limbs has been damage, movement is minimal, Tekk-set Crystal intact, transformation chamber damage, cannot perform Tekkaman transformation," Pegas said as Nick was shock by this as with Pegas damage as he is, he cannot become Blade even if he wanted too as then he hears a groining sound as he turn to see Nightbird was coming around as she soon saw Nick with an angry expression on his face as she said, "You!"

She tried reaching out to grab the Space Knight but before she could Elita came jumping at her stopping the right hand of the Decepticons from touching Nick as she said to her, "You will not harm them Nightbird."

"Damn you!" nightbird said as she and Elita soon fight in the enclose space as Miko was freaking by this as she look over to the lever again as she thinks if she flip it back up the wall may raise back up and help them escape, but that proven to be a mistake as she rushes over to it and flip it up, suddenly the whole room shakes stopping the two femme bots fighting as Nick soon ask, "What was that?"

Then suddenly the room shakes again and this time the side walls were started to close in on the group as everyone panic to this as Nightbird said, "This is a trap!"

"Time to leave then!" Elita said as she brought out her blaster and shot at the wall that was behind them, but when the shot hit it, it did nothing to it, not even a scratch as Nightbird summon forth her melee weapon and slash at the wall herself but that did nothing as well.

Miko soon started to panic again as she put her back against the wall and try to hide away under her arms with Nick saw they were about to be crush if they don't do anything, as he suddenly said to the two femme bots, "Hey Elita, Con!"

He got their attention as they turn to him as he said to them, "Try to stop the walls from closing in while I try to find a way to stop it!"

"I will not take order from a bug!" Nightbird said as Elita said to her, "Would you rather be a scrap pile with me then? Dying with your worst enemy in a less honorable and very humiliating way, not even putting up a fight?"

Nightbird growl at Elita for that, but she did have a point as what's the point of dying by crush to death, it wasn't honorable at all, she was still a gladiator at heart so she will do what she must as she came up to one of the walls and push against it while Elita did the same as the Autobot femme leader soon said, "Hurry nick, I don't know how long we will hold these walls back!"

Nick nodded as he soon gotten to work as he look around the far wall for any talisman imprint of any sort. The two femmes tried their best but the walls keep closing in, little by little, at the pace it was going , they may only last a few minutes as Nick look around fast as he can as he soon came where Miko is at as she was still panicking, as she didn't know what to do as Nick soon saw the imprint behind Miko, or rather he should say the slot, it had the same shape as the talisman with the same symbols inside of it as well as he will the talisman to come forth to his hand as it did he rush over and held Miko Close as he said, "Hold onto me!"

Soon enough he raise his hand to the slot and stick the Talisman in as a glow soon came forth, lines of light came forth as they travel across the entire door itself before they reach the walls themselves as the room shook once more as the wall suddenly stop with the two femme bots were back to back to each other stuck in that position for the moment as Nightbird soon said to Elita, "Not one word from you."

"Don't worry, I won't," Elita said the same thing as it was bad enough to be this close to her nemesis, then suddenly the walls soon began to retract back into their original place with the door itself soon to open up, Nick and Miko soon look and saw a light shining through the door as it was opening and were shock in awe to what they saw.

The group began to enter the next chamber and saw it may very well be the final on as standing before them was what looked to be a sword stabbed into steel. Elita looked at it and judging by its design it was clearly a Knights of Iacon weapon. "A Knights of Iacon Sword?" Nightbird asked as she raised an optic but knew her mission. Glaring at Elita the Decepticon Femme acted and bashed into her causing Elita to go wide eyed. Nick and Miko got out of the way as Nightbird went after the weapon.

Of course, trying to stop Nightbird Elita grabbed one of Nightbirds treads and forced her to fall over before dragging the Femme and throwing her. Nightbird bit the wall but quickly got back up as Nick went with Pegas and Miko to a safe location. The two femmes did battle unaware that their conflict had triggered another defensive measure in the chamber. Just then tendrils shot out at Pegas, Elita, and Nightbird which to the shock of many plugged into them. Pegas was spared due to his unique design but the same could not be said for Elita.

The two femmes tried to force it off, but it was too late as soon they fell to their knees as their optics closed up. "Elita!" Miko cried out as she saw Elita was in trouble.

"Observation: Cortical Psychic patch." Pegas analyzed as he saw what was going on.

"Wait I remember Ratchet talking about it before we met..." Miko said as Bumblebee had used it to get the antidote from the comatose Megatron's mind to save Optimus from the Cybonic plague.

"So, wait whose digging into the mind of the other?" Nick asked as he was confused.

"Response: Unknown." Pegas said until he sensed it. "Alert: Danger Nick Carter." Pegas said and in turn more tendrils shot out and thus Nick acted fast.

"Miko!" Nick called out and thus used his body to shield her which thankfully caused the Tendrils to back off. "Huh?" Nick asked as he saw what just happened.

"Weird." Miko said as Nick then looked to the sword.

"Pegas what's wrong with them?" Nick asked as he looked to Pegas when he noticed that the two Femme's were smiling.

"Scanning Analysis show high concentrations of their pleasure functions." Pegas spoke and thus Nick got the gist of it.

"They're in their ideal dream worlds." Nick said as the two femmes were unable to leave simply because that would mean leaving those worlds. "Is there a way to safely get them out?" Nick asked as he knew getting Elita out also meant getting Nightbird out.

"Suggestion: Force a deactivation of the chamber or a neural shock to force them to awaken." Pegas said as both options had extreme risks.

"I see." Nick said and thus looked to the Talisman attached to him. "I wonder." Zed said and thus began to look around for something that he can use the Talisman on. As they did this Elita and Nightbird were still in their ideal worlds and would no doubt find it near impossible to break out of.

(Nightbird Mindscape)

Nightbird's dream was not one that you would expect from one of Megatron's most loyal. It has been noted that Nightbird would gladly trade her Spark if Megatron so ordered her to. She did not fear death as most others would and like Firewar were among the first Decepticons to join Megatron's ranks. The sad part was that Nightbird knew her dream can never become reality she knew her place in Megatron's life hence why she was enjoying this false world for all its worth.

Here she was back on Cybertron with Megatron sitting upon his Throne of Darkmount within the Decepticon Capital of Kaon. Resting her head on is lap Nightbird laid was content with where she was. Even if this was all an illusion the Decepticon Femme was content with being here. Nothing would take this away from her and thus she would slaughter anyone who got in her way. Cybertron in her mind was alive and ruled by Megatron alone the old Caste system was abolished, and their mighty empire was once more flourishing. As Nightbird laid there it showed that she simply enjoyed the serenity of it all showing that her greatest desire was to be by Megatron's side till the end of time.

(Elita 1's Mindscape)

Elita dream was one of a simpler time where she was Ariel working her shift at the Iacon Docks importing and exporting goods to varying places on Cybertron and her colonies. In her dream world the war for Cybertron never came about and thus she never had the accident that made her into Elita and by proxy Optimus never went down to Cybertrons core and return as a Prime. In her ideal world she was still Ariel and Optimus was still Orion Pax. These were simpler times when neither worried about the corruption of the higher caste and simply went about their lives without the fear of war tearing them apart.

But as she went over new shipments Elita or Ariel was at peace. She was never a warrior and the War had forced her to become one. All was well and all was peaceful in her ideal reality.

(Real World Knights Chamber)

Nick and Miko were looking around when they came across another indention matching that of the Knights Talisman. "Think this will get them out?" Nick asked as he looked to Miko while hoping she was ok.

"Maybe but are we sure we want to let both of them out?" Miko asked as she was worried that Nightbird might lash out once she's out of the dream.

"I'm not sure but either we save both of them or neither of them." Nick said and thus with the Talisman inserted it into the indent like it was a key. Once he activated it, he truly hoped for the best out come as he closed his eyes with fear evident on his face. 'Please let this work.' Nick thought as he tried to wake the two femmes up. 'Elita please wake up." Nick begged not wanting to see the femme leader die like this.

(Elita)

Ariel was carrying another box to where it needed to go as she placed it where it was supposed to be. She was about to take her next shipment when she heard a voice call out to her. 'Elita please wake up.' The voice spoke and thus Ariel looked to where it came from.

"Hey sis great job today." Came the voice of Dion as Ariel looked and saw her brother approaching her.

"Yes, it was." Ariel responded as she looked to Dion. "Sorry Dion but have you heard from Orion about his friend Megatronus as of late?" Ariel said as she looked to Dion who looked confused. "Who's Megatronus?" Dion asked and thus saw another shipment. "Sorry I need to take care of this." Dion said but Ariel went wide eyed as she knew how this played out. In a panic she looked around and the memories came rushing back.

"Dion!" Ariel cried out running over to Dion knowing what came next and in turn the shipment was seen. Inside something was flashing and then just as Ariel got close the shipment exploded and thus the entire world went black for Ariel. In a way she had died that day and in her place Elita 1 was born.

(Real world)

Elita's optics flashed opened and thus she acted fast and tore the tendril from her head. Once it was off, she looked and saw that Nightbird was still under. Looking to the scene she could not help but pity the Femme knowing that she'd rather be in a falsehood then return to reality. Alas as much as she wanted to leave her there Elita knew that it was not the way to go.

"Forgive me Nightbird but you must return to the real world." Elita said and thus made her way to the sword at the center of the room. "Recognized one of your Knights." Elita said as she put her Servos on the hilt of the sword and prepared to draw it forth. If she is correct and she was hoping she was removed the sword and they will be able to get out of this place. As she began to pull the sword released an energy that went up her arms and stopped short of her neck reformatting them to look more like armor of a knight.

Then with a hard pull Elita drew the sword and held it at the ready and in doing so the chamber responded. With its power source removed it began to shut down and in turn Nightbird was forced out of her fantasy. Nightbird grabbed her head as no doubt her circuits were crossed a bit. Elita walked over to the door and saw that it was opening back up.

"The Relic." Nightbird said before turning around to glare at Elita who had the relic in her hand. With a roar Nightbird attacked and in turn Elita met the femme's blade with her new sword. The two glared at each other and thus Elita pushed Nightbird back and went after her. But instead of attack Elita grabbed the shield off the wall and to Nightbirds shock fired it off at her. Nightbird didn't see it coming as following it up was Pegas activating his boosters and attacking firing rockets at Nightbird forcing her to shield herself. Transforming fast Elita entered vehicle mode and opened the doors for the humans.

"Get in!" Elita ordered and thus Nick and Miko ran and got into the car before fastening their seatbelts. Once they were secure Elita drove off with Pegas close by as Nightbird saw this.

"ELITA!" Nightbird roared and thus transformed into her Cybertronian Jet form and flew after the Autobots second in command.

(Later back at the surface)

Outside the castle Elita drove out as Nightbird flew in close behind. As she drove away a bit she then quickly transformed and dropped both Nick and Miko off with Pegas before drawing her newly acquired weapons. Nightbird transformed and thus the two began to do battle against each other. Blade met sword as Elita and Nightbird did battle in an attempt to best the other. Blocking an attack Elita pushed Nightbird back and performed a spin kick upon her knocking the Decepticon back further.

Following this up Nightbird fired her guns at Elita forcing the Femme leader to block it with her newly acquired shield. Nightbird was fighting with a great deal of savagery showing just how angry she was right now. The two crossed blades again as Nightbird was being blocked by Elita's shield. Elita then rolled back and fired the shields gun attachment and hit Nightbird with it. Elita wasn't sone as she then threw her shield at Nightbird and thus the Con was forced to deflect it and leave herself open. Stabbing her in the side Elita proceeded to slash through Nightbird causing her a great deal of pain as the result of it.

Nightbird's energon spilled to the ground as she held her wound with one hand and aimed her blaster at Elita with the other. Glaring at Elita she soon saw movement and then found herself surrounded by the Autobots and Tekkaman. The once great Gladiator of Kaon now looked more like a cornered animal as she aimed her blaster frantically at her foes trying to decide who to blast to get out of this situation.

"Nightbird surrender now." Elita ordered as she glared at her foe.

"Over my Sparkless husk." Nightbird growled as she would rather die fighting then surrender to her enemies.

It would seem that choice may very well be arranged for her as they Autobots got ready to move in on her. That was of course before a ground bridge opened up behind Nightbird and from its laser shots came out followed by more from above. Leading the charged was Megatron himself as he had his fusion cannon pointed at his foes.

The Vehicons fired upon the Autobots as Megatron lead them against their foes. "Nightbird fallback!" Megatron ordered as he glared at Nightbird.

Seeing this Nightbird was clearly not for such an order. "But Lord Megatron!" Nightbird tried to argue as she refused to return to her lord and master a failure.

"Do not question my orders!" Megatron snapped as her causing Nightbird to flinch. "The day is lost fall back to live and fight another day." Megatron ordered making it clear Nightbird was in no condition to keep fighting.

"As you command." Nightbird responded and began to limp into the Bridge as the Autobots. The Autobots tried their best to stop the Decepticons but alas they made it through the Bridge and thus vanished from the sight. As everything began to calm down it was clear that the Autobots were the victors of this battle.

"Nice sword." Firestar said as she saw the weapon Elita had.

(Scene Break Autobot Base)

"So, the Knights of Iacon ship is under lock down?" Ratchet asked as he looked to Nick and Elita.

"Yeah, we felt it was for the best at the time especially since its engines are utterly useless." Elita said as she looked to Ratchet who may not like it but accepted it.

"I see." Ratchet said as he then looked to their newly acquired tools. "Thankfully with your acquisition it may be able to provide us with somewhat of an edge with what it has done to you Commander." Ratchet said as Optimus agreed with them.

"Yes, and I do not believe Ratchet is mentioning your new aesthetics either, Elita." Optimus said as Elita looked at her arms and the rest of her form. The changes were not major but just enough to make her look more like a Knight.

"More so it gave you a small boost in your natural systems." Ratchet said as he went over the scans involving Elita.

"I do feel changed, Doctor." Elita responded as she flexed her servos a bit. "But first things first I need to speak with Miko... she has had quiet the ordeal today." Elita said feeling responsible for that.

(Meanwhile with Miko)

Miko was sitting atop the base looking to the desert that was Jasper as she had her knees to her chest. Pegas was downstairs getting repairs as the Autobots were giving Elita's new equipment a look over. As she stood their footsteps were heard as Nick came out. "Hey Miko." Nick greeted as he walked up to the girl. "Can I sit here?" Nick asked as he looked to Miko who nodded.

"Sure." she said with a detached voice and thus Nick sat next to her. The two just sat there for a moment as Miko knew Nick came her to do the whole, 'I told you so,' gripe and she was waiting for it. "Well, what are you waiting for just say it." Miko said as she saw Nick wasn't doing it.

"Say what?" Nick asked curious as to what Miko meant.

"I told you, so." Miko responded as she knew what happened. "You were right I had a panic attack down there, and." Miko said as Nick sat there calmly which Miko noticed.

"I'm just here to sit with you." Nick said as he looked to Miko. "And if you feel like you want to talk, I'll also listen." Nick said as he sat with Miko.

"I..." Miko trailed off before she was suddenly hugging Nick who oddly expected it. "I was so scared." She cried as Nick heard this and hugged Miko gently rubbing her back once more.

"It's ok to be afraid sometimes Miko." Nick said as he held the girl close. "It's just that the hardest thing about being afraid or having a problem is admitting it." Nick added as he knew that better than anyone save for Shara. "So... just cry all you want I'm here for it all." Nick said and thus Miko did as so. Unaware to either of them Bulkhead, Elita, and Ironhide saw the whole thing and thus opted to let Nick handle it. Hopefully Miko will agree to talk to someone about her claustrophobia.

(Meanwhile on the Nemesis)

"Forgive me Lord Megatron, I have failed you." Nightbird said as she was on a medical berth while Knockout treated her injuries.

"I would seem that wouldn't it?" Megatron said as he had Soundwave show an image of the Knights of Iacon Vessel buried under the castle. "While you were dealing with the relic, Soundwave has been researching our archives and found some valuable data on the Knights." Megatron said as Nightbird listened to him.

"And thanks to the data we acquired from your mind while you were under it seems old Big-M may have a plan in the works." Knockout said as nearby Breakdown and Thunderblast saw the entire interaction.

"Two in fact but one takes priority." Megatron said and thus Soundwave looked to Megatron. "It is time we start looking into Project Iacon." Megatron said and thus it was clear the Decepticons were not done yet. "For now, just rest Nightbird you have earned it." Megatron said and thus he took his leave of the femme.

(Outside)

"Nightbird proves to be a loyal and formidable combatant." Megatron said as he and Soundwave walked away. "But I fear her loyalty may also prove to be detrimental to her as well." Megatron said and thus Soundwave showed an image of Nightbirds dream reality that they had found while getting the information on the Knights of Iacon vessel.

Megatron had long since suspected that Nightbirds intentions were far beyond simple loyalty to him. But the War Monger can respect Nightbirds' understanding of her position in his life. Though it often begged to question that with how devoted Nightbird was to Megatron why he never pursued such trivial things. It would no doubt do well for troop moral as well as provide both leaders a sort of comfort of confidant in each other. Megatron would never voice it not even to Soundwave but when he believed Nightbird had perished it nearly broke the Gladiator inside.

Thus, to avoid such a weakness Megatron had opted to avoid pursuing such trivial emotions less he himself become compromised by his enemies and his allies. Keeping his tone silent Soundwave understood why and thus opted to drop it for now. Both Decepticons knew that Nightbird was not loyal to Megatron, no she was madly in love with him and as much as Megatron would enjoy her company as they did in Kaon, he did not desire the pain of losing her again to compromise him. Thus, it was best to leave that possible romance as a fruitless dream for all parties involved.
