ESKK: A brand new chapter let's get started.
(Start Autobot Outpost Omega 1)
It was late in the evening as the sound of the TV was online. "Woo! Crunch!" Kicker cheered as he, Miko, Bud, and Nick were watching a Monster Truck Rally on the TV with Pegas, Bulkhead, Ironhide, Firestar, and Moonracer.
"Oooh!" Bulkhead also said, while covering his eyes with a smirk.
"Like to see a Vehicon walk away from that." Moonracer cheered as Ironhide laughed to this.
The only ones not reacting were Nick, Pegas, and Firestar. Nick honestly wasn't vested in Monster Trucks, Firestar saw it as a blood sport, and Pegas... was Pegas. "I'm surprise you're watching this, Firestar." Nick said as he looked to Firestar.
"Miko has the remote." Firestar said making it clear she was only watching because Miko had control of the remote at the moment. Ever since the incident with Shara things had died down. Thankfully since Shara in her growing pains had located a fresh deposit of Energon. This allowed for the Autobots to use the Coby-Bots, as Kicker and Miko started calling them, to mine the Energon. Of course, Misha, Raf, and Coby all have the drones monitored in case of a malfunction or worse. At the moment Preceptor was with Hound and Wingsaber monitoring the machines as they were hard at work.
"Would you mine lowering the volume?" Ratchet asked as he was getting rather annoyed with how loud the TV was.
"Hey Ratch, check out the monster truck rally Miko took me and Ironhide too last week." Bulkhead said as Ironhide remembered that fondly since Nick was not having a good time but came along for Miko's sake.
"I compiled some highlights with my cell phone." Miko said as she pulled out her cellphone to show said highlights.
"Innocent vehicles battling for the pleasure of human spectators?" Ratchet asked before he shivered in disgust. "Blood sport!" Ratchet said as he waved it off and went to get back to work.
"Wait didn't Cybertron have gladiator matches?" Nick asked as this made Ratchet pause before glaring at Nick for that one.
"He got you there, Doctor." Lifeline said as she was nearby going over medical tracks to better fulfil her role as a field medic.
"Wait Cybertron had Gladiators!?" Miko asked as she sounded excited about it.
"I wouldn't be so excited Miko, Megatron came from this Arena's." Firestar said as she was carefully reaching towards the remote only for Kicker to snatch it and smirk.
"You know, you could be helping Optimus and Elita in the field right now." Bulkhead said as he walked over to one of the consoles to return to his work.
"Oh, come on, Doc Prime doesn't need our help to search for some ancient educational rod." Ironhide said as he wanted to return to watching the Rally.
Ratchet shook his head in minor annoyance. "This 'ancient educational rod' to which you refer happens to be a Cybertronian Data-Cylinder." Ratchet said before the medic pressed a button on his console, resulting in television switching from the monster truck rally to a data-reading of the Data-Cylinder, much to most of the group's dismay.
"Hey! What the hell!?" Kicker exclaimed as he was annoyed by this while Bud moaned in frustration. "We were watching that!" Kicker added as he wanted to go back to watching the hoedown showdown.
"And there is no telling what vast intelligence it may hold." Ratchet said as he began to switch out the screen to show more data on the subject.
"Are these Cylinders really important?" Bud asked curious as to what they were.
"Your joking, right?" Lifeline said as the nurse stood at full height to detail what she knows about the Data Cylinders. "This is nothing short of incredible I've always wanted to see one close up they were made during Cybertrons Golden Age, The Data-Cylinders each contained the sum-total of Cybertronian knowledge on nearly every possible subject you can think of." Lifeline said as she looked to be geeking out a bit. "Stellar cartography, medicine, ancient mythology, and just about anything else you can find!" Lifeline listed off as she really wanted to get her hands on one of those Cylinders.
"You... don't get out much, do you?" Kicker asked only to be elbowed by Nick who then spoke up next.
"So, these things were like computer hard drives?" Nick asked as he looked over the data.
"Precisely." Ratchet responded as Lifeline was off to the side again mumbling to herself over the Data Cylinders and what it might hold. By the sounds of it she didn't even care if the data was useful or not, she just wanted to get one. "When war broke out, the Cylinders were hidden throughout the galaxies, to keep them as far as possible from Decepticon reach." The Autobot medic explained as the screen showed images of the Cylinders being sent off world. "Detecting one signal here, on Earth… is the opportunity of a…" Ratchet began but was cut off by Miko.
"Ugh! T.M.I. dude." Miko said showing she did not care for this stuff.
"Switch it back, I wanna see the hoedown-showdown!" Bulkhead added as he wanted to see Monster Trucks.
"Yeah!" Kicker agreed as she wanted to see some cars getting crushed.
Just then the computer went off before they received an immediate communication from Optimus, with the sounds of battle being heard in the background. "Ratchet, Decepticon ambush! The Cylinder is at risk! We require back-up!" Optimus spoke to which had gotten everyone's attention.
"Back up is what we're built for." Ironhide said as he and Bulkhead were ready to roll out.
"Let's roll!" Moonracer called out as Miko knew to stay out of this one.
"Hey what about us?" Kicker asked as he wanted to go Claymore and carve up Radan.
"If Radan and their Tekkaman are involved then sure but since they're not we stay put." Nick said taking command on this one.
"Oh, come on dude don't be all emo boring!" Kicker complained as Bud saw Kicker was just being Kicker again.
"Want me to start giving a reason to be calling you Kicked Ass?" Nick asked with a small glare as Kicker grumbled and backed off for this one.
"Bend some Fenders Bulk!" Miko called out as the four Autobots were ready to depart. Within minutes, a Ground bridge portal opened as Ironhide, Bulkhead, Moonracer, and Firestar were ready to depart.
"I have a mission for you all as well." Ratchet said as he looked to the group.
"Really?!" Kicker asked excited a bit only to be presented with a mop. "Ratchet you suck you know that." Kicker said as he took the mop.
"Oh, stop complaining it's better than nothing." Miko said and in turn everyone stopped even Ratchet stopped.
"Miko... are you ok?" Nick asked as he looked to Miko with concern.
"What do you mean?" Miko asked confused a bit over the question.
"Well normally you'd be gunning for the portal once Ratchet gave you the chore... and that's after a bit of complaining." Nick said as he looked to Lifeline who was silently scanning Miko for anything amiss.
"Well considering the last time I recklessly charged into something Bot related I ended up in a cave in with Bulkhead, I nearly suffocated down there, was chased by screamer, and by the end of it I ended up with PTSD and Claustrophobia." Miko said detailing exactly WHY she wasn't going to charge into the Ground Bridge like she normally did. "Besides if I don't get in the way the Bots can focus on the mission, right?" Miko asked as she took a Mop and got ready to work.
"Fair point." Nick said with a nod as he needed to remember that for next time Miko acts out of character. "I'll head to the back to grab some more supplies faster we can finish this the faster we can goof off." Nick said as he walked on to the supply closer.
"Right!" Miko said as she grabbed the bucket nearby and headed off to fill it with the needed cleaning solutions. Unaware to any of them Kicker saw a chance and had bolted while leaving his own mop behind.
(Battlefield)
Kicker arrived out from the Ground Bridge just before it could close and in turn came upon the sight of the battle between Autobots and Decepticons. "Cool." Kicker said with a grin on his face. Just then Bulkhead punched out a Vehicon who fell backwards right towards where Kicker was standing. Acting fast Kicker rolled out of the way and got to cover. Catching his breath Kicker looked over the wall to wherever the Cylinder was located.
Optimus stood nearby as Kicker saw who was here. Most of Team Prime was present, Optimus, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee. Elita's team was also there which comprised of Elita, Moonracer, Chromia, Firestar, and Ironhide. Optimus then grabbed his opponent Knockout before punching him so hard he went flying. "Autobots stand your ground the artifact must not fall into enemy hands." Optimus announced as he kept strong while the Autobots continued to fight.
Following it up was Elita backflipping and kicking Slipstream before Moonracer came in and grabbed her by the neck and send the femme seeker flying with a flip. The two could not pat themselves on the back yet as then Nightbird came in with Slipstream and Blastoff firing down on the pair of femmes. After that while Nightbird and her allies were distracted Arcee was seen gunning for the artifact as she had the opening now. Then from out of nowhere Thunderblast drove in and slammed into Arcee sending her flying. Once Arcee was down Thunderblast transformed and made a charge for the data cylinder.
"Come to Mama!" Thunderblast boasted only to be bashed into by Ironhide.
"Whose you're daddy?" Ironhide taunted only to be blindsided by Brawl.
"Come on old man say it! Say uncle! Say it!" Brawl roared as he had Ironhide in a chokehold.
Seeing his chance Kicker ran over to the cylinder hoping to transform next to it and carry it off before the Decepticons could stop him. Once he got to the cylinder, he pulled out his cell phone and started to speed dial the base. "Ratchet do you read me?!" Kicker asked as he spoke into the phone.
(Back at the base)
"Kicker?" Ratchet asked as this got Nick, Bud, and Miko's attention. "This is an emergency channel we need to keep it open for the Autobots." Ratchet said as he looked and saw that the group of fleshies was one Tekkaman short. "Wait where are you?" Ratchet asked as he looked for Kicker.
"He didn't." Bud gasped as he realized what Kicker did.
"I'm with the educational junk!" Kicker called out and thus Ratchet heard him as did Lifeline.
"You're with the Cylinder!?" Lifeline asked as she pushed Ratchet out of the way. "Tell, me is it safe? Is it in one piece? What is being that close to the Holy Grail of Knowledge feel like!?" Lifeline asked before Ratchet moved Lifeline out of the way.
(Kicker)
"Yes, yes, and what?!" Kicker asked as he was caught off guard by Lifeline. "Never mind can you guys bridge it out of here?!" Kicker asked as he got ready to move.
"I'll reactivate arrival coordinates." Ratchet said and in turn Kicker loved over the Cylinder and saw the portal form.
"Dude, can you open it a little close to where I am?!" Kicker asked as he was clearly frustrated by this.
"Supply coordinates." Ratchet ordered and thus Kicker was at a loss.
"I... ok Plan B." Kicker said as he took a running start and pulled out his Tekk-Set Crystal. He then took off and at the same time summoned his power. "TEKK-SETTER!" Kicker called out and thus his transformation got the attention of the Autobots and Decepticons. Claymore was seen pushing the Cylinder towards the Ground Bridge Vortex using his boosters and the armors strength enhancement to help him. But as he did this the Cylinder began humming to life as this was not a sound Tekkaman Claymore felt he liked.
Just then the top part of the Cylinder opened up and in turn Claymore flipped over it by accident and nearly lost control. "Kicker?!" Bulkhead asked shocked to see Kicker here and... no Miko while he was fighting Breakdown. "No!" Bulkhead called out and in turn pushed Breakdown back to save Kicker. The result was Breakdown tripping Bulkhead and thus the Wrecker fell before the Cylinder itself with his head facing the glowing red part. Right after as Bulkhead got his head up the Cylinder launched a red beam directly into Bulkhead's forehead which caused him to become dazed.
"No Bulkhead!" Claymore called out and flew over to Bulkhead to make sure he was ok.
"You really took one for the team Bulkhead." Knockout said as he grabbed the Data Cylinder. "My team!" He taunted before a Ground Bridge opened behind him. This in turn opted the ground based Decepticons to enter it while all the fliers flew off to return to the Nemesis.
"Bulkhead!" Optimus was heard as he approached Bulkhead.
"Are you ok?" Elita asked as she looked to the Wrecker.
"I'm fine didn't even smart." Bulkhead reassured as he stood tall as if nothing happened.
(Scene Break back at the Base)
Ratchet and Lifeline were examining Bulkhead as they are doing a neural net scan to his head with Miko a bit worry over bulk's health, Nick stood by her, along with the bud, for support in case something did happen, as Ratchet was checking Bulkhead's data, Bulkhead said, "I helped lose that thing. I want to help find it. I need to get back in the field with Optimus."
"Eh, eh, You're under my watch now. Optimus' orders," Ratchet said as Nick soon said, "And technically Bulk, you didn't lose it. IF there's anyone to blame for this, it would be the one that didn't listen to orders."
Glaring at Kicker who was mopping the floors by himself as punishment as he looked over at Nick and said, "I said sorry to bulkhead, what more do you want?"
"For you to keep mopping those floors until the lesson of don't disobey orders sinks into your head! You're lucky that lifeline didn't try to stomp on you or used you as a medical tool holder for messing with that Cylinder as well," Nick said as Lifeline mumbles to herself as she said, "I would do more than that to him, if the Prime Directive 1 didn't prevent me from doing so as well as my Hippocratic Oath as a medic."
"Anyways, running a full of your neural net would be a wiser use of your time," Ratchet said as Bulkhead pull the cord that was connected to his head as he said to him, "Come on, Doc. There's nothing up there to scan."
"He seems fine to me," Miko said as Ratchet give an annoyed sigh as he soon said, "Well, if you insist on making yourself useful." Ratchet reach down to pick up an extra mop that Nick had founded and held it up to bulkhead and said, "You can help Kicker Tidy up."
After bulkhead took the mop as Miko groin a bit as she said, "Aw. He's mad with power." Bulkhead soon laughs at that as he soon said, "That's ratchet. No vector Squared, all right."
"What?" Miko said as she heard what Bulkhead said as did Nick and Bud as they look at Bulkhead, with Nick wondering why did, Bulkhead say something so... smart? as Bulk was messing with the mop a bit as he had a thought as he said, "Hey, we got any paint around here?"
"Art project? Cool!" Miko said as Nick said, "Y-yeah, I think I saw some in the... supply room." Nick didn't know what was going on here, but he felt something was wrong.
(The nemesis)
At the lab as Megatron and nightbird stood before the Cylinder as they walk with knockout, Breakdown, and Thunderblast as they gave out bad news as Megatron said, "What do you mean it's empty?"
"Lord Megatron, these cylinders are not unlike batteries," Knockout started to explain as Thunderblast shows the images on screen as Decepticon Femme then said, "The data within the cylinders take the form of energy as far we know of as that was how we were able to detect it in the first place."
"Right and it scanned fully charged before, but now..." Knockout said as he opened up the Cylinder, only for it to spark out with a puff of smoke with breakdown pretty sums up the whole thing as, "Dead battery."
"Did you damage it breakdown?" Nightbird said as he put up his hand in fear as he said to her, "No commander! I wasn't gonna touch the thing after it put the zap on Bulkhead."
"Hey, you think," Breakdown started to say as Thunderblast finished up saying "The data was zapped into that Autobot's head?"
"That must be it then," Nightbird said as Megatron spoken up saying, "I must find out what that vessel contained when it comes to the secrets of the ancients, knowledge can be power."
(Back at Autobot base)
Nick, Miko, kicker, and Bud had been watching bulkhead paint something on the walls of the base and started to speak in a term that's scientific, science fiction, and gibberish as Nick is able to understand a bit of it but not what it's for other than some sort of energy maybe?
As he can conclude its the knowledge that the Radan have downloaded into his and anyone else that's a Tekkaman's mind, but it limited on certain things and it's not always easy to access but Nick can conclude that what Bulkhead is doing is Cybertronian science, as much he want to understand what Bulkhead is drawing up, he is also concern at Bulkhead sudden change in personality as Nick called out loudly, "Hey Ratchet, Lifeline come here for a moment!"
"We're busy at the moment Nick," Ratchet said as he and lifeline were going over Bulkhead's data at the moment as Miko and Bud just rush over to them and said, "Seriously, you two, you need to see what bulk's painting in here."
"It looks important too," Bud also said as Ratchet sighed knowing the humans won't stop until he humored them. The medic then stopped what he was doing for a moment before he walked over to see what was going on as he said, "Yes, I'm sure one hasn't truly lived until one has beheld by Bulkhead's take on still life with lug nuts."
"Sounds like one take on life itself," Lifeline as she joined in as well as she followed Ratchet and the two humans. Thus, she came over to see what Bulkhead's doing and when she did the femme medic almost gasped to the site, she was seeing with Ratchet surprise as well with Miko said, "See? Did we tell you or what?"
"The differential of one-third "R" cubed is Rdrr," Bulkhead said as he finished a painting of his as he moved out of the way as Ratchet soon said, "That is not art."
"Its Cybertronian science, correct?" Nick question as Ratchet could only nod to this as now thing gotten very serious.
(later)
Ratchet gave Bulkhead another neural net scan as the image of Bulk's head is seen with his brain showing sigh of something that glowing red as Ratchet explain," This hot spot you see here. It's information, data, living energy."
As half of the Autobots and half of the Space Knights were there witnessing what was going on with bulkhead as Miko spoken up saying, "Hold on. It's alive, it's on fire, and it's in bulkhead's brain?"
"Chill Miko, the data is only inhabiting a fraction of my brain." Bulkhead assured as he poked his cranium. "Infinitesimal by standard neural net densities." Bulkhead before coming to a stop. "Wait how do I know all that?" Bulkhead asked showing even he had no idea what he said.
"Based on what we witnessed during our skirmish the living data must have been programmed to eject when it sensed unauthorized access." Optimus said as that was the most logical deduction they had.
"A, security measure." Ratchet said realizing what Kicker had done.
"It would have jettisoned heavenward lost to the stars." Optimus said before Ironhide got up.
"Except my fat engine block got in the way." Bulkhead said as he got off the berth.
"That doesn't make sense every Autobot and Decepticon there made a grab for it, yet it did not respond until Kicker grabbed it." Chromia said as Arcee agreed with her fellow Femme.
"The Data Cylinders originated from Cybertrons Golden Age that predated the division between Autobots and Decepticons." Lifeline said while pulling up data on the Cylinders. "I wouldn't recognize a non Cybertronian as a threat only alien lifeforms such as humans or Radan would have been seen as a threat." Lifeline said putting what she knew about the Cylinders to use.
Bumblebee then buzzed as Arcee then spoke right after. "Are we staring at genius or gibberish?" Arcee asked as she looked to the big brains of the group.
"I do not wish to falsely rally anyone's hopes, but these equations appear to be the formula synthetic Energon." Ratchet said and in turn all the Autobots got excited for this.
"JACKPOT!" Moonracer cheered as Bumblebee also cheered.
"We hit the motherload?!" Arcee asked as the Autobots just hit major payday.
"Synthetic Energon?! No more Energon Mines for us we're going to be swimming in the stuff!" Ironhide cheered as he hugged Chromia who was equally happy over having the Synthetic Energon Formula.
"Lucky!" Lifeline cried out as she looked to Bulkhead no doubt wanting to have the energy in her head.
"A most serendipitous of events." Firestar said as she looked to her fellow Autobots. "It would seem that Kickers unsanctioned mission has provided us the means to solve our fuel problem." Firestar spoke which meant they now had everything they needed.
"Yes, a great few of our Energon related problems will be solved, we will not need to worry over our fuel reserves." Elita added as Optimus nodded.
"It might even provide us with the edge we need to turn the tide of this war." Optimus added before Ratchet spoke up.
"Or even handing us the keys to revitalizing Cybertron." Ratchet said as Moonracer smirked to this.
"We got the goods." Arcee began before Moonracer cut in.
"And all old Buckethead got was an empty bucket." Moonracer added as she was so ready to get some of that Synth-En.
"How often do I get to use my head to save the day?" Bulkhead asked with a grin on his face. All the while Nick grew concerned fearing that all was not as it appeared to be.
(Scene Break the next day)
It was late the next day as Team Prime was preparing for a shift change. With their numbers having grown since the Radan Wars began, they can no operate on shifts. Certain groups handle the day shift while the others handled the night shift and it's scheduled by a weekly basis. At the moment the day shift was preparing to switch out for the night shift when Miko came back. The others had other things going on, Jack had schoolwork to do, Lori was with Sierra and Shara on a shopping trip, Coby was off gathering materials from his favorite scrap yard, and Raf was with Misha working on some new programs that they think can help the Autobots.
This only left Miko, Nick, Bud, and Kicker as the only humans left at the base. At the moment they were elsewhere save Miko and Kicker as Bulkhead continued to work on the formula mumbling to himself the varying scientific words to make it happen.
"Aren't you done yet?" Miko asked getting a bit impatient.
"Gotta admit it's weird seeing Bulkhead in brainiac mode." Arcee said as this was a strange day for them.
"Yeah, it would only be strange if Ironhide joined in, or worse Ratchet loses a few IQ points." Moonracer added and in turn Arcee saw Bulkhead finish up with the plate he was working on. In turn she walked over to the plate and began to pull it off much to Miko's joy.
"Break time! How about a lightning round of Forza Horizon 4!" Miko offered only for Bulkhead to get back to work causing her to moan in defeat.
"You tried." Kicker said as he saw Bulkhead was really out of it.
Nearby Bumblebee and Arcee brought the completed bit to Ratchet for him to log. "Got another one for you to log Ratchet." Arcee said sounding excited over the prospect of Synthetic Energon.
"Thanks, I'll log it and send the data to Preceptor." Lifeline said as the two leaders and head medic were on the console. From what Lifeline and Ratchet discovered the Synthetic Energon formula came with a heavy price.
"This is Bulkheads Neuralnet as you saw it earlier." Ratchet said as this got Arcee and Bumblebee's attention as the other Bots currently in the base. "This scan was recorded just minutes ago." Ratchet said and in turn on the screen the energy from the Cylinder was spreading across Bulkhead's brain. "It is as I fear, the data seems to be actively and aggressively rewriting Bulkheads Neuralnet." Ratchet explained as this got everyone listening greatly concerned for Bulkhead. "I had hoped that he was purging the data, but he seems to merely be transcribing it as it..." Ratchet began but Optimus finished.
"Consumes his mind." Optimus revealed as this got everyone worried.
"Ratchet, how long do we have?" Elita asked worried for Bulkhead knowing this is a tough decision that needs to be made.
"By all indications, by the time Bulkhead complete the formula his own thoughts his memories could be wiped clean." Ratchet said as this was a dire state for Bulkheads mental health.
"But if we stop him goodbye Synthetic Energon." Arcee voiced as she knew this was a problem.
"You assume we possess a means of stopping him." Ratchet said knowing they might not have a choice but to let Bulkhead finish since they don't have the Cylinder to stop him. "I don't exactly have instant access to the wisdom of the ancients." Ratchet said but Optimus then spoke up knowing there was one way.
"I will not allow another one of our own to be sacrificed, no matter the cost." Optimus said and in turn Lifeline had an idea.
"Well, if the data could transmit itself from the Cylinder to Bulkheads brain perhaps, we can coax it out preferably into something that can contain it." Lifeline voiced her idea, but Ironhide looked to this.
"Without even knowing how the Cylinder did it I doubt we can make something like that." Ironhide said as this put them all in a tight spot.
"The only thing that can contain it that we know of is the Data Cylinder and it's in the Decepticons possession at the moment." Firestar said leaning on the side of Ratchets workstation.
"She's right how are we supposed to get it back from the Decepticons?" Arcee asked knowing full well that time was off the essence.
"Megatron will bring it to us." Optimus announced and in turn they began to formulate the plan.
(Later with Bulkhead)
Bulkhead gotten more of the formula completed as the three Tekkaman were standing by with Bud watching T.V, with Kicker still mopping the floors with nick supervising, as Miko decided to get her guitar and amp as Kicker saw this as he asked, "Ahh, what is Miko doing?"
Nick turns his attention towards her as he saw what she is about to do as he said, "Attention grabbing." with Miko gotten her things in place as she started to plug things in with Bulkhead still talking while painting as he said, "Coefficient Quotient of the subset amplified..."
"You want Amplified?" Miko asked as she plug her guitar into the amp itself as sound started to come in with Bulk not paying attention to what she is doing as he went on saying, "Providing preceptor's paradox is nothing of the kind." Soon enough Miko Strum the guitar letting out a loud metal sound as Bulkhead cry out in pain by that as he dropped the mop brush while putting his hands to his head while everyone attention was now turn towards them as Bulk yell out, "AHH! What is that?!"
"Metal. You love this song," Miko said as Bud said while coming off the couch, "IT sounded more hard rock than metal." With Nick didn't say anything but watch closely as he doesn't know what could happen next and given the fact that he knew Bulkhead does love hearing Miko strum the guitar like that, he would just play along, but it seemed like the opposite effect happen as Bulkhead said, "I'm trying to concentrate."
"You're starting to sound just like Ratchet!" Miko said while groaning as she doesn't know what's gotten into bulkhead, but what surprise everyone is when Bulkhead soon said, "Who?"
"Ah, Ratchet, the doctor of team prime?" Kicker said as Bulkhead looks confused on that as Miko gotten very worried as did Nick as they both went over to Ratchet themselves as Miko said to the Doc bot, "Ratch, I think bulk's losing his mind." At that moment Ratchet froze to hearing what Miko said as he was about to type something in but stopped halfway as Nick said, "You know Bulk is losing his memories already, didn't you?"
"Y-you knew?" Miko asked as she look towards Nick as he said, "Not at first, until he started to get more and more into the formula, like he was being sucked into a mindless state. a similar thing that happened to me when I was still being process through the Tekk-system until I was freed, but the question is, why didn't you say anything ratchet."
"Please listen, we didn't want to frighten anyone, especially Miko, but rest assured Optimus has a plan," Ratchet said as if he believe that Optimus plan would work as Miko soon said, "Optimus isn't bulkhead's doctor. I just need to know, when bulk's done spitting out that formula, he'll go back to being regular old Bulkhead, right?"
Ratchet didn't say anything as Miko started to tear up by this as Nick soon held Miko said, "Come on, let get you sitting down." With that Nick lead Miko to the couch to process to the news they just heard as Nick step away for the time being away from Miko as the other were waiting for Nick to say something as Bud asked, "So what's wrong?"
"The data in Bulk's head is taking over him, soon enough the bulkhead that we knew before... would be erase, and in his place is that," Nick said as he point out to Bulkhead who was still painting and still sprouting scientific gibberish as Kicker said, "But the Autobots wouldn't let this happen right, I mean would they let bulk's mind be erase?"
"I don't know kicker," Nick said as put his fingers to the bridge of his nose with Kicker went on saying, "What if we upload the data into a computer or something."
"I don't know kicker," Nick said again as he sounded a bit annoyed as Kicker keep on saying, "It can't be that hard right, I mean all we have to do is hook Bulk's head to the supercomputer."
"I DON"T KNOW KICKER," Nick said once more but angrier as Kicker just went on talking, "Maybe we can give Bulk a knock to his head and maybe we can-
"Stop it kicker!," Nick said as he snap at Kicker for that getting all the Autobots that is still around attention, with Kicker shutting up at that as Nick looked at him dead in the eyes and said, "None of this would be happening if you didn't disobey orders and went out all Tally-ho on a mission you were not meant to go on, Bulk is losing his memories and Miko is upset by this, so please help me, if you say anything else I will personally change your name to "Kicked in the head" by literally doing it! You got that?!"
Kicker was shocked by Nick outburst as did the others with Bud was scared of Nick a bit by that as Nick calm down a bit as he soon said, "Go back to mopping, I'll check up on you within the hour."
"Where are you going?" Bud asked with Nick said, "To the Bunk room and lay down for a bit, if anything comes up during that time as well, just knock on the door."
After that everyone was left in silent with Kicker feeling guilty of what he did, and Nick was right, none of it wouldn't be happening if he didn't go on that mission that he wasn't supposed to go on, as he look over to Bulk who was still focus on the formula he didn't seem to notice Nick snapped moment, as he thought to himself, 'I'll make it better somehow... I promise that I will.'
(the nemesis)
Within a computer room as Megatron was looking over something, with Knockout and breakdown walk up to him as Knockout called out to his leader as he said, "Lord Megatron, we've detected a familiar energy profile."
"The data?" Megatron question as Knockout went on saying, "Bulkhead must have left the shielded radius of their base. Breakdown and I will-
"Fail me again," Megatron question as he cut off knockout with that, as Knockout didn't know how to respond to that as he soon said, "Find nightbird and tell her to gather up the troops, I will lead the mission myself."
(Later)
Megatron arrived with Nightbird and her seekers as they made it to the source of the signal. Transforming into robot mode the group landed on the ground and were ready to move in. Of course, what they found instead was Optimus alongside Elita 1, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ironhide, Moonracer, and Firestar.
"Autobots!" Nightbird snapped and activated her blasters ready to open fire only for Megatron to stop her with a gentle move of her arms.
"Optimus you certainly were not the Autobot I was expecting to find here." Megatron greeted as he saw Optimus here. "But let me guess, you rigged a transponder to mimic the frequency of the data I seek." Megatron said as it sounded just about right on the mark.
"Megatron, I have a proposal." Optimus stepped forward, only for all the Decepticons present to point their Energon blasters at him, including Nightbird who still had her blasters active from before. but Megatron held up his hand to keep his soldiers from doing anything rash.
"I'm listening." Megatron responded intrigued a bit over what Optimus had to offer.
"Surrender the Cylinder, and I will return it to you fully restored." Optimus said confirming the Autobots had the data in their possession.
"This trinket right here?" Megatron asked as he held the Cylinder in his hand. "And pray tell, what trifles did it hold that you are so anxious to give away." Megatron asked curious as to what the data was that Optimus sought to be rid of.
"Accept my terms, and you will find out." Optimus stated, indicating that was all the information he was going to tell Megatron.
(Meanwhile back at Base)
Kicker was still mopping the floor while Bulkhead was stilling painting down the equations for the Synthetic Energon formula. Miko meanwhile was trying to get Bulkhead to stop or stall him hoping that stalling him might stall the data's progress through his mind. "Do you remember the time Wheeljack lobbed his only grenade into the Decepticon Makeshift?" Miko asked as she looked to Bulkhead.
"Who?" Bulkhead asked which got Miko annoyed and Kicker even more worried.
"Wheeljack your best bud besides me of course." Miko said flipping her phone open showing a picture from before the Tekkaman joined Team Prime. Bulkhead then went back to his work as Kicker's grip on his mop got tighter. Miko began to grow worried as this was a bad sign for her. "Do you even know who I am?
"Of course, your…" Bulkhead narrowed his eyes as he tried to remember, which only caused Miko and by extension Kicker to look deeply hurt and guilty before Bulkhead resumed his equations. "…Equivalent to the flattening of oblate spheroid to the nth power." He said getting back to the work at hand.
"Keep them coming Bulkhead." Ratchet said after Bulkhead finished another set and thus, he took it to log into their computers.
"GAUGH!" Kicker yelled in anger and threw down the Mop.
"Wow Kicker!?" Bud called out in shock, but Kicker ignored him.
"This is my fault dammit!" Kicker yelled as he angrily, kicked, the bucket down spilling its contents onto the floor. "If I just did as I was told and stayed put then Bulkhead wouldn't be losing his damn mind!" Kicker yelled as he felt guilty about this as he needed a sign of some kind. Taking out his crystal he clenched it in his hand before roaring and throwing it aside. But when it landed it echoed and thus Kicker looked to the Ground Bridge before looking back at Bulkhead.
Miko saw this and the two shared a small look no doubt forming a plan between them. Quickly grabbing his crystal Kicker went back to the computer and passed by Bud.
"Wait Kicker what are you doing?" Bud asked as he looked to Kicker.
"I caused this so I'm going to fix it." Kicker said and in turn Miko agreed before she began to type into the computer the coordinates of where she and Bulkhead saw the Monster Truck Rally. Once the Ground Bridge activated Miko took the mop from Bulkhead and in turn the two headed to the vortex.
"Come on, you wanna finish your formula, don't you?" Miko asked enticing Bulkhead to follow after her with Kicker right next to her.
(Back with Optimus's team)
Meanwhile, the Autobots were awaiting Megatron's response with the tension more than a little thick. In fact, it was so thick that one could only cut it with a Cybertronian blade. "Do you accept my proposal?" Optimus questioned his nemesis knowing full well Bulkhead's life hangs on the line.
But before Megatron could answer Knockout contacted him from the Nemesis. "Lord Megatron." Knock Out spoke as he contacted his leader.
"Give me a moment." Megatron said as he turned around and walked to the back of his squadron, while Elita narrowed her optics on him.
"Did you find what you were looking for?" Knock Out asked as he, Breakdown, and Thunderblast had found something of value.
"It's complicated." Megatron spoke in a hush tone so that his enemies couldn't hear him.
"Well, Breakdown, Thunderblast, and I may have located the bogey, fully-charged." Knockout said showing that they were in position for retrieval.
"Proceed." Megatron said as he gave them the go-ahead to get what he desired.
"Just one hitch. We don't have the Cylinder." Knockout said and in turn Megatron already had his response to that.
"Then bring me the head of Bulkhead." Megatron ordered them with an evil sneer.
(Meanwhile with Kicker, Miko, and Bulkhead)
Using a ground bridge; the Tekkaman Human duo had taken Bulkhead, to a monster-truck arena. Bud had no doubt already told Nick what Kicker was doing and Kicker had his phone on vibrate for the inevitable call that would have Nick chewing him out. "Come on Bulk, you loved monster trucks!" Miko said trying her hardest to stop Bulkhead from losing anymore memories. But instead, the green Autobot actually continued to paint more equations on the walls of the empty arena. "Remember when we snick in here after the show last week?" Miko asked hoping that might ring a bell for Bulkhead.
However, Bulkhead was still focused more on his equations. "Mass times the fusion rate squared is constant." This only made the group more worried.
"Is any of this ringing a bell?" Miko asked in the slightest hope it might do something.
"Bell curve? No, no, no that wouldn't factor in." Bulkhead replied before he got back to work on the equations.
"How about our Sunday Morning dune bashings? Rocking out to Slash Monkey? Helping me with my homework?" Miko listed off but then changed gear on the last one. "Trick question you know I don't do homework." Miko said all but begging for Bulkhead to remember something. "Don't you?" Miko asked with fear in her voice.
"Shit." Kicker cursed realizing he really did screw up big time while they watched Bulkhead right down the formula.
"Ok forget the past starting now we can make new memories." Miko spoke but Bulkhead was not paying attention while Kicker began to nervously paste back and forth.
"The Cube route of the Exo-Energon yield Delta E Violates Collects law of Energon conservation." Bulkhead went on and thus Kicker began to walk off.
"This is all my fault." Kicker said realizing how royally he fucked up today. "Bulkhead listen I know you're in that two-tone engine block somewhere and I know for a fact that you would never forget your friends and comrades. So, you better pull through or else when Nick is done with me Miko will have my ass on a platter served up with a side of fries." Kicker said as he tried his hand, but it was no use.
"Well, someone is a bit of a poet!" Came the voice of Breakdown causing the two humans to look towards the source. It was there that Kicker and Miko saw that Breakdown and Knockout had arrived and by the looks of it they knew exactly what Bulkhead was carrying. "Almost made me want to puke." Breakdown added as the two saw the Cons here.
"Miko get snap of what Bulkhead made and get him out of here!" Kicker said as he had his Tekk-Set Crystal at the ready.
"Right." Miko said as she then took out her phone and quickly snapped a picture of the formula for Ratchet and Preceptor to work on later. Once that was done a flash of light came through from behind her before looking and seeing Claymore charging at Breakdown and Knockout.
"Hey watch the paint!" Knockout called out as he narrowly avoided by bisected by Claymore's weapon.
"Oh, trust me you are going to need a pit crew when I'm done!" Kicker countered as he was ready for battle. Kicker then went after the two Decepticons who tried to keep him away mainly with Breakdown using his hammer too swat the Tekkaman out of the sky.
"Impudent bug!" Knockout growled as Kicker was using his smaller size to his advantage against the Decepticons.
Breakdown roared out and came very close to actually hitting Claymore who dodged at the last possible second. As he did that, he saw Miko and Bulkhead making a run for it. "Isn't like Bulkhead to run from a fight." Breakdown voiced as he saw the scene.
Claymore heard and saw this before sparing a look and seeing the pair running off. Miko must have been able to convince Bulkhead to bolt out of the area to get away from the Decepticons. After all, with the information from the data cylinder over taking his mind, Bulkhead was in no condition to fight anyone. But Claymore attention being diverted allowed for Breakdown to grab him and slammed the Tekkaman to the ground causing Claymore pain from the impact.
"Nice catch Breakdown." Knockout praised before directing his attention to what Bulkhead was doing prior. "And it seems our friend Bulkhead has been distracted by something on his mind." Knockout said as he saw the bit of formula Bulkhead had made.
"Oh no." Claymore gasped and then acting fast he blasted his thrusters with enough force to start burning Breakdown. The larger mech cried out in pain from the heat before Claymore blasted off towards where he saw Miko, and Bulkhead run off to. He had to hurry and warn them before the Decepticons could find them.
(Meanwhile back with Optimus and Megatron)
"Optimus, upon careful consideration," Megatron said as he knew his follower were going after bulkhead as he turned around to face Optimus, as the leader of the Autobot didn't like the tone of Megatron voice as he went on saying, "IF you want the cylinder, you'll have to take it."
Giving the signal to his own troops, the Decepticon open fire as the Autobots took cover and return fire as the Autobots took out a few cons, there was still a lot of them as Elita call out, "Arcee cover me!"
Arcee nodded as she came up from the rocks she was hiding behind as she open fire fast upon the Decepticon as they scatter a bit with their attention drew to her while Elita came up and got up close and personal to them using her sword, cutting them down with ease, with Nightbird seeing this, she went after her as she brought out her own weapon as she give a battle cry and soon clash with the femme Autobot.
(Bulk, Miko, and kicker)
Kicker was holding back the two cons the best he could, as small and fast as he was, he held them off well, but knockout and breakdown were smarter it seem as they learn how to avoid getting hit by a Tekkaman and try to shot at him as Kicker dodge their shots as he try to think of something to distract them as he soon said, "You guy such at shooting, you know that right?"
"Well then, I guess it time we step up our game," Knockout said as he was still mad on the new paint job bulkhead gave him as he suddenly pull out a Energon Stars, looking a bit different from the ones before no doubt they worked out the side effect of it as he place it on himself activating it as claymore saw this, he said, "Ah crap."
At that moment knockout power up greatly as he started laughing like a mad man as he aim with his blasters and fire like crazy as he aim to hit Claymore while the Tekkaman try to avoid them, but the explosion that follow after was a bit much as when he nearly got hit by a shot, it hit the ground causing a huge explosion that sent him flying into the other monster trucks around, with Miko and Bulkhead were not as bad, but not as lucky either as a shot almost hit bulkhead took most of the force causing him to come crashing down hard with Miko got him by some of the force as well seem to have gotten push onto the ground and rolled a bit as she cry out in pain a bit.
After the shots calm down the Energon star lost it glow before disintegrating as Knockout check himself to see he lost his boosted energy, but he wasn't drain of any extra energy as he said, "Well that worked, but the star ran out of energy too quickly. Back to the drawing board with it."
"But at least we caught a break," Breakdown said as he pointed out over to bulkhead and saw him down as well as knockout smile as he came over to Bulk as he flipped him over on his back and transformed his hand into a saw as he said, "Heads, you lose."
Miko recover from the blast with Kicker getting up as well as they soon saw what was going on, as Miko sees Bulkhead was about to lose his head as she screamed out, "NO!"
"Don't!" Kicker said as he tried to get up, but Breakdown got in front of him as he had his hammers out and said, "I don't think so bug!"
(The fight)
The Autobots were holding well against the Decepticon with Elita fighting off nightbird, Optimus and the others shot down every other con as soon enough it was just Megatron standing alone as he said to them, "Well, in that case, no one gets it."
AT that moment Megatron crush the Cylinder which shocks the Autobots with Elita saw this as she said, "NO!" With that Nightbird took advantage of the distraction as she hit Elita back hard forcing the Femme to back away, with Nightbird about to open fire upon her rival, she soon avoided a shot by the Autobots as she quickly dodges them, Megatron turn around and soon transform and fly away with Nightbird following behind her lord as she said, "Next time Elita, you won't be so lucky!"
Optimus came over to Elita and put a hand on her shoulder as he asked her, "Are you alright?"
"I am, but…" Elita said trailing off as she looked cover to the destroyed Cylinder, Optimus nodded as he knew what this meant, but before he or anyone else could say anything, Ratchet came on the coms as he said, "Optimus, Bulkhead, Miko, and Kicker have Abandoned base. I have their ground bridge coordinates!"
"Bridge us back immediately!" Optimus prime said as then Nick came over the Coms and said, "Don't worry Optimus, I'm on the way to them now."
(bulkhead, Miko, and kicker)
AS Knockout was close to cutting Bulkhead's head off and Breakdown was about to smash Tekkaman Claymore, suddenly the ground bridge open up and from it as familiar robot and his Tekkaman came flying out full speed as breakdown saw this but it was too late to do anything as Breakdown got hit by Pegas knocking him away as Tekkaman blade came forth with his weapon in hand as he calls out, "Tekkaman Blade!"
"Hu? oh not you again!" Knockout said as he back his hand away from bulkhead when he saw blade was here now as with that Blade throw his weapon at Knockout as the Con dodge it, no doubt not wanting his paint job to get ruin even more, at that moment Miko quickly look around for a weapon to help anyway she can, as she found a pipe, she pick it up and charged at knockout hopefully to distract him, but at that moment when Miko was about to hit him, the con move away as without realizing what is happen and what's about to happen as Miko missed him she trip on her own feet and crash into Bulkhead's head, which soon cause a reaction to happen, as the living energy within Bulkhead sense of another lifeform, bulkhead open his eyes as they glow red, with knockout soon said, "Ah oh, Get down!"
Miko just gasp as she saw Bulkhead eyes shot out beam of red energy up into the sky, as she said, "did I do that?!"
Blade and Claymore saw this as well and knew what it was as kicker said, "The living energy."
"ITs ejecting from bulkhead," Blade finishing what Claymore was saying as soon enough the beam soon spot as no doubt all the living energy in Bulkhead was now out of him as they saw the energy shot up into the sky, never to be attain by anyone anymore, as Miko look down to Bulk as she came up to him and said with a crying tone, "Bulkhead?"
At that moment Knockout took a scan of Bulkhead really quick as he saw the information in Bulkhead was now gone as he said, "Dead battery."
Breakdown recover from the hit he took from Pegas and join his friend near bulkhead as knockout went on saying, "Megatron will peel our paint for losing that data."
"So, we're gonna have to peel you," breakdown said as he and knockout gotten their weapons out as a voice called out, "Not so fast!"
the two cons turn to see the two Tekkaman there as they had their shoulder pads open and glowing with energy as knockout said, "Ah bolts."
"VOLTEKKER!" both Blade and Claymore call out as they fire their vol-tekker at the two cons hitting both of them away from Miko and Bulk as they cry out in pain from those blast, alive but hurt as knockout red paintjob was now burnt black with breakdown was just burn as they saw the two Tekkaman standing there with their weapons out as claymore with his Claymore, and Blade with his double ended blades and his sword in hand ready to fight, as both cons look at each other, they knew they won't win this fight as they ran away as they break through a wall and transform driving like there's no tomorrow.
After that, the two Tekkaman power down with Nick putting his sword away as well as he came over to Miko and said, "Are you two alright?"
Miko didn't say anything as she came up and hug him while crying, with the Autobots finally arriving as the ground bridge open, Optimus Elita and the others saw the scene before them and realize they were too late.
(back at the base)
The Autobots brought Bulkhead back to the base, as Ratchet did check up on him and scan his brain, as he saw he was alive still, but the information in his head was now gone as he said to everyone while looking over the scan, "The data has been fully expelled, but Bulkhead remains completely unresponsive."
"Did the energy take bulkhead mind with it?" Nick asked while standing by Miko. Miko then spoke up saying, "Heavenward, lost to the starts... It was my fault it happened, you'll never know the rest of the formula, and it's my fault Bulkhead's gone forever."
"ITs not your fault Miko, accident happen. You were only trying to help Bulkhead," Nick said as he tried to cheer her up as Optimus also added in as he said, "And your quick thinking prevented the formula from falling into deception hands."
"If anyone would have backed that play, it's bulkhead," Arcee said as Ironhide nodded as he agreed with her as he said, "Yeah, that what bulkhead would have done."
"It's simply too early to know the extent of his condition," Ratchet said as there was still hope that bulkhead could come back, they just needed something to awaken hi as he said, "Something as simple as a familiar sigh or smell, Perhaps even a sound, could trigger Bulkhead's awakening."
At that moment both Miko and Nick realize what that something is as Nick soon ask her, "Miko, is your amp still around?"
(Later)
Nick quickly gotten Miko amp and Guitar together as Miko plug it in and turn up the volume on it.
She adjusted the strings on her guitar with Nick and the others standing by to watch what will happen as Miko look over to Nick as he give a nod to her, she raise her hand up high before strumming her guitar loudly that echo throughout the base as Miko look towards Bulkhead to see if that did the trick, but nothing happen, as bulkhead was still out, as Miko soon fell into sadness along with everyone else… but Nick keep watching Bulkhead knowing thing like this take a bit to get going, even a computer goes a bit slow when powering up again, and he was right as the monitors were buzzing out showing activity in Bulkhead's mind as he started to open his eyes and groin out.
"Bulkhead?" Miko said as she was surprised to hear him, with Bulk open his eyes widen then stood up while imitates the electric guitar sound Miko made as Bulk soon said, "I love that song!"
Bulkhead then looked around wondering why everyone was staring at him but then saw Miko. "Miko." Bulkhead greeted with a smile on his face. Nick smiled at the scene before he noticed Kicker heading to the back with his hands in his pocket. Nick sighed to this and went to speak with Kicker.
(With Kicker)
As Kicker was heading to find his ride home, he soon heard a familiar voice. "Kicker." Nick said as Kicker then looked and saw Nick standing there.
"Ok before you go off on my again, Nick I know I screwed up today we almost lost Bulkhead because of it and if I had just kept my butt at the base we would have." Kicker began but Nick then put a hand on Kicker's shoulder.
"No... I should have lashed out like that." Nick said as he looked to Kicker. "While I admit it was deserved, I also know you only wanted to help." Nick said to which Kicker sighed a bit.
"I never like standing on the sidelines when there's things I can do to help." Kicker admitted as he looked to Nick.
"I know and honestly I see a bit of myself in you back before... this." Nick said gesturing to himself meaning his Tekkaman form. "I guess... I didn't want to see you turn out like me, bitter, jaded; broken." Nick listed off and then took a breath. "But maybe I should have given you more chances to fight the good fight instead of trying to keep you guys at base." Nick said and thus Kicker sighed to this.
"No, your right I'm impulsive and I never think things through and that has gotten us into a whole shit load of problems." Kicker said and thus Nick smiled to this.
"Tell you what you promise to be less impulsive, and I'll try and be a bit more open." Nick said and thus Kicker smirked to this.
"Deal." Kicker said and thus Nick offered his hand to him.
"Friends?" Nick offered and Kicker agreed.
"Friends." Kicker responded and thus the two shook hands making up for the incident of this evening's events. As everyone was enjoying this bit of happy endings other forces were hard at work.
(Meanwhile with Evil)
Cain walked through his persona Tekk-Set Garden as he watched his new Tekkaman slowly coming to power. With so little energy to form Cain had to bide his time with them less he suffers the consequences for it. Omega suspected him of treacherous actions so Evil had to be careful when he syphoned out the Radan spoils of energy. But soon his army will be built and with it the Tekkaman Uprising will begin. Though he will need to decide on a name for his army well he still had plenty of time better to wait it out then charge in recklessly. He took his leave with ambitions and plans for a future for all Tekkaman upon this Earth.
