(Start Early Morning Darby Residence)
Nick woke up in the morning as he normally did. The sun had barely risen in the sky but for Nick it was time to get up. Rolling off the bed Nick began to do his normal routine, which began with morning push-ups. The Darby's were excellent hosts for him and his sister as he proceeded to do the push-ups. It was easy for him to do and an effective way to start his regular routine. Keeping mental track of his number Nick continued this for about a good 30 minutes.
(Later Outside)
Kicker was now outside as he quietly closed the door and started his morning jog as he did every morning. Ironhide was not on the driveway where Nick left him the night before no doubt he went back to base for his normal thing. Nick continued with his morning jog for about a good hour which had him run a few rounds around the neighborhood. During his jog, the paper boy would be seen riding around the neighborhood on his bike tossing out newspapers to the houses.

Nick returned just in time to grab the one heading to the Darby House and brought it inside the house. He walked in and saw that mostly everyone was awake now. Jack was still asleep while Nick suspected Nurse Darby was in the shower. Shara was in the kitchen cooking breakfast for everyone as Nick walked in and took the blender. Once he had it, he cracked several eggs into said blender before putting the cover on and turning it on. Once Nick blended the eggs, he drank it straight from the blender as Shara gave him a skeptical look. Ironhide of course was already there as Arcee no doubt the two Autobots were waking up as well.
"Do you have to do this every morning?" Shara asked with a judgmental look.
"Yes." Nick responded plainly as he then finished his protein.
Just then June walked in and saw what Shara was doing. "Pancakes?" June asked with a smile on her face.
"And coffee." Shara said pointing to the pot of coffee being brewed.
"Thank you." June said as she was grateful to the siblings ever since they moved in.
"Well, I better hit the shower before Jack does." Nick said and in turn he put the blender in the sink and went to the bathroom.
"Save on Hot Water." June called out and Nick just waved to her.
(Later In the Bathroom)
Nick finished up his shower stepping out with a towel around his waist before going to the sink. Once there, Nick got to the normal stuff, brush his teeth, mouth wash, razor, and of course, hair dryer. Nick took care of himself and besides, he had a reason to look good and her name was Miko.
(Scene Break Later)
Jack eventually woke up a little bit after June finished her breakfast. And after breakfast everyone headed out for the day, for Nick, Jack, and Shara it was to school for the day. Nick and Shara were riding in Ironhide as Shara yawned a bit. "So, Ratchet's been working on the Synthetic Energon Formula." Shara said as Nick nodded to this. "Preceptor is helping I think between our two smartest they can actually crack the code." Shara said as Nick agreed to that.
"Hopefully." Nick said as he knew how bad things were right now. All the nonstop battles have put a major blow in the Autobots Energon supply. The Energon stores are at an all-time low which means they could not ignore any Energon signals because they needed some of it. "What do you think, Ironhide?" Nick asked as he looked to the dashboard of Ironhide's vehicle mode.
"I think we need to get our own Energon mine." Ironhide said while he drove the kids to school. "I mean Coby's spider-bot should be put to some use I heard he's been working on getting it up and running." Ironhide said as Coby was always someone who liked to dabble with machines.
"Cool." Shara said as they continued to drive as she also knew Coby had one other small project he was working on, nothing major just something of a side project.
"So, baby sister, ready for cheerleading?" Nick asked with a smirk on his face.
Shara blushed to this and then turned away from Nick. "Shut up!" Shara said as she was still nervous about the whole thing. Sierra managed to talk Shara into trying out and tryouts were today after school. Nick, Jack, and Miko were going as emotional support for Shara. Sierra had been helping Shara practice none stop. After wards they were going to visit Coby, Lori, and Bud about something Coby had been working on with Preceptor.
"Look Shara, I know you don't like being stared at... but this will be good for you, help you come out of your shell." Nick said as Shara just gave her brother the silent treatment after that.
(Scene Break Later at School)
Nick closed his locker as he sighed a bit to it. Things were mundane peaceful even and Nick was just counting down the days until it abruptly stops again. He did have some comfort in knowing that the Japanese Autobot Team's human allies, Gatchaman were in a similar boat as him. It helped knowing that there were others he could confine to about his issues in which there are many. Just then Nick heard a commotion nearby and saw Vince and his buddies messing with this fat kid by knocking his books out of his hand. Nick looked at his watch for a moment and saw he had time to spare.
Walking over to the kid Nick proceeded to help him out. "Need a hand?" Nick asked and the kid nodded.
"Thanks." The kid said and thus Nick proceeded to help the kid out.
Once he was done Nick nodded to him. "Have a good one and don't let Vince get to you, after high school he won't matter." Nick said and then began to walk away to their next class.
(Later at Class)
Nick was in class; World History as the Teacher was doing his job. Jack and Sierra were in the class with him while Miko was there also. Miko was of course tuning the teacher out while Nick just sighed to this. Making sure the teacher wasn't looking Nick threw a paper ball at her which hit its mark. Miko looked at him and saw him holding a note.
'Pay attention so you can attend Shara's try out.' The letter wrote as Miko sighed and did as she was told for once. Shara was nervous as is and Miko being there would be a major help to the girl. June had asked them to get a video of it so Shara would have some happy memories. Nick just thinks June wanted a daughter at some point and is using Shara to fill that role... not that he was complaining about it. In June and Elita Shara had two mother figures in her life now which Nick was grateful for.
"Mr. Carter." The Teacher called and thus Nick stood up.
"Yes." Nick said as she had a question for him.
"Can you tell me what started the Trojan War?" She asked as Nick knew this one.
"That's when the leader of the Prince Paris abducted Queen Helen of Sparta. Some sources also suspect that the pair had eloped." Nick said as he looked to the Teacher.
"Correct." She said and in turn went back to teaching in which Nick sat down. Just few more hours of class and then its Cheerleading Try outs.
(Scene Break after School)
Nick, Miko, and Jack, were out on the bleachers as they watched the try outs as Jack had a camera out waiting on Shara. "Jeez this is boring." Miko said as Nick then looked to Shara.
"Come on Miko we're doing this for Shara, it will help her come out of her shell in a social setting." Nick said as Miko rolled her eyes to this.
"Yea I know but she's a kick ass space knight can't we." Miko began but stopped herself. "Never mind, let's just support her." Miko said as another reason they were here. With her Cybertronian half Elita told them to be on the lookout in case they act out. Even though they are mostly stable now Shara was still learning to control them outside of her Tekkaman form. If something happens, they'll be all over it with a cover story and a distraction.
"There she is." Jack said and thus Nick stood up and started clapping for his sister.
"Come on let's go Shara!" Nick called out cheering her on as Shara saw this.
On the gym floor Shara heard her brother and blushed before waving to him. "Brother, right?" Came a random girl as Shara saw her.
"Yeah." Shara said and thus the girl nodded and in turn try outs began for the group.
Sierra and a few members of her squad were on a table observing the tryouts as they had clipboards and pencils. After the incident from the previous tryout attempt, they haven't found anyone who could fill their lost members role. Plus, after that show Shara had put on saving the day the squad wanted to give her a shot. Sierra felt it would be good for her as it might help her get out of her shell. It's funny in battle Shara is confident and assured but in social interactions she was a nervous wreck.
"Alright Shara, you ready for this?" Sierra called out as she watches the girl nodded to her with everyone watching for the moment, Sierra turns on a boombox that play some music for cheerleader to dance too as it was "E is for Everybody" by cooler kids.
Shara stepped out when the music started playing before stopping in the middle of the gym as she threw her arm out to the side before bringing them back in and throw them up before doing a back flip with ease.
This gotten everyone attention as Shara keep up her routine, as she lifted one of her legs up and did a helicopter cartwheel before doing a tip toe dance before leaping in the air before following it up with a ballet twirl across the floor.
"Wow, where did she learn this stuff?" Jack asked Nick in a low tone as he keep recording it as Nick said to him in a low tone as well, "When we were younger, our dad sigh her up for Ballet dance classes. She was great, pretty much a dancing prodigy as her teacher compares her to a pro-dancer, but she soon had to quit before a dance recital could happen."
"Why?" Miko said as she was awe struck by Shara dance like everyone else as Nick said to them as low as he can so no one else can hear him, "We got recruited to be colonist on mars."
"Oh," Both Jack and Miko said as they understood that with Nick soon said, "Yeah, she never really danced in front of a crowd before, and the training we have done may have added in as well, but I never seen her move like this before… but then again could a combination of being a Tekkaman and a Cybertronian hybrid."
"That is so cool, I wonder if I should have taken my mom's advance and taken dance classes… nah," Miko said as she waved off that thought as she knows she wasn't a dancer girl, she was a rocker.
Back with Shara as she waved her pom poms to the side to side as she stepped back, as it seems she trying to get more space between her and the judge table, as everyone watch closely as Shara did a running start before leap in the air and back flipping a lot before ending her routine with a split with the music suddenly stops.
With that was everyone was basically jaw drop to the site with Sierra was most impressed by this, as she knew Shara had moves but not like that as she started clapping her hands with everyone follow soon after as Sierra soon said, "So girl what do you think?"
"I knew she'll be perfect when I first saw her out on the field before," the first judge girl said as the second judge girl soon said, "Yeah, she perfect, she got my vote."
"Same here," the first judge said as Sierra nodded and turn to Shara as she said, "Well Shara its unanimous, welcome to the squad."
The girls cheer out for Shara as she gave a small smile and bowed her head to this before walking away. The teenage girl soon joined Nick, jack, and Miko as they congratulate her on getting on the team.
"You did wonderful out here Shara," Nick said as he patted his little sister back as Miko came up and said to her, "Yeah, you were awesome, almost make me want to try dancing like that… almost."
"Yeah, mom is going to love seeing this when she does," Jack said as he saved the recording as Shara was blushing to that thought as she wondered how June would react to Shara cheer dance, as Nick soon said, "Mom and dad would have been proud of you Shara."
"Thanks nick," she said as was sad that no one else in her family other than Nick was here to see what Shara did, as she felt proud of what she did but a small pit of sadness form in her as Jack saw this as he quick change the subject as he said, "Hey lets go out and celebrate on Shara becoming a cheerleader, It's on me."
"Oh, where at?" Shara said as she never went out anywhere to eat before like nick had, as Jack soon said, "I was thinking more of the line of Pizza."
"Sweet, I know the perfect place. Its where I slip on the floor and got free pizza at," Miko said as Nick sighed to that as he said, "Only you Miko, but the celebrating would have to come later. Coby had asked us to come to the base for help with his robot project."
"Oh right, forgot about that," Jack said as the group of teens gotten up and soon headed out with Sierra would join them later at the base after she goes through the rest of the try outs which may take a while, lucky she had Chromia as her guardian.
(Scene break)
The 4 teen arrived at a junk yard looking place that was actually a work station with a military crew wearing civilian clothing were all working at the recently build junk yard near the Autobot base to make it look like a normal junk yard for Coby to build stuff at with the supplies given to him to work on his project as Jack said, "I am surprise that agent Fowler and Witwicky was able to put this all together for you guys."
"Yeah well team prime didn't want Coby to keep building in the base after what happen last time, so I got with Fowler and Witwicky to talk about a putting something together and show them Coby's bot which they were was impressed by it, so they put in word to the higher up, which they approve but had it under supervision," Nick said as he remember how that went as he went on saying, "I had do a lot of negotiating to get this done and pretty much the military are donating decommissioned equipment and vehicles that are not top secret and pretty much don't use anymore its became as it is while also we also get a steady supply parts from junk cars."
"What do they do with the rest?" Miko said as suddenly a crane grab a strip down junk car and put it in a crusher as the teen watch as the car get crush up in a cube shape before it came up from the machine, then pick up by another crane and get stack on top of a pile of crush cubed cars as Nick said, "Pretty much that, anyways Coby work area is right behind here."
Coming up to a huge building area with steel shutter doors, which opened up after Nick took out a key card and scan it, with that they were greeted with the spider bot Coby made along with two others being assorted colors too of Yellow, red, and blue as Coby was doing the wiring on one of the robots with Nick called out, "Cody!"
Cody took a break as he heard his name being called as he turned around and see the group as he said, "Hey Nick, Shara, Jack, and Miko. Glad you can make it."
"Well, you said you had something to show us?" nick said as Coby nodded as he said, "Yeah, it's in the back right now, but let me bring it out."
After that Cody rush to the back of the building where the group waited for something, as they soon hear an engine roaring out as a massive truck of some sort that seem to be a heavy modified Cat 796 AC as it came forth with Miko and Jack were surprised to see it with Nick and Shara were impressed by it but wonder what it was.
When the truck came forth, it stopped just before the group as Coby came up and said, "so what do you think of it?"
"It's big, but what is it?" Nick asked as Coby soon said, "It's a as a mobile command that can help track energon while it also doubled as hauler for energon crystals too."
"IT looks like a combination of the tanker truck from that old kids show, Power Ranger in Space," Jack said with Miko nodded in agreement to that as Coby said, "Yeah, I had a little inspiration from those shows."
"Cool." Miko said as she looked at the new wheels.
Just then Preceptor came through as he was doing a final check on the machine. "The Weapon systems have not been installed for safety reasons and it's only a prototype." Preceptor said as he looked to the group.
"Wait this is Beta? COOL!" Miko called out as she looked at the tank in question. It was larger than the regular dump truck it was modeled from and even more, so it seemed longer as well.
"The safety methods are all set up on this bad boy and its triple re-enforced to handle anything we might happen upon the mines." Coby said as Jack had to say it.
"So, in other words... we more or less have a tank." Nick said as he looked at the Tank.
"Basically." Coby said and thus Jack spoke up.
"Coby have I ever told you how awesome you are?" Jack asked with a smile on his face.
"I can do to start hearing it now." Coby joked and thus he opened the hatch to let them in. "Let me show you guys the grand tour." Coby said and thus the group all ran into the Tank for the tour. As they did this Preceptor waited outside as he did a last system check to make sure it was ready for its beta test.
(Inside the Tank)
"So right here we have navigations, over here shielding, and that is where weapons are to be placed." Coby explained as they were all inside the tank now and saw that it had three sections for it. The First Section was the cockpit, the second section was a, sleep/eating area that Coby was working on to make it larger, and finally they had the section for where they kept the Spider Drones, Pegas, and the Sol Tekkaman. "Over here got Sonar keyed in on the unique energy signature of Energon." Coby said as he showed everyone around.
"How does it work?" Jack asked causing Coby to grin.
"I'm glad you asked." Coby said and in turn got down to explaining it. "See Energon Veins can be found but like all veins they have a source." Coby explained as he looked to the group as he showed some of the schematics to them. "The Tank here has a sonar system that can trace the vain back to its source. Once we hit a vein it sends out a pulse into it and we then get a signal back once its source is found similar to echo location." Coby said as he explained it to the group.
"So, this thing can either lead us to untouched mines or straight to Decepticon Mines." Nick said as Coby nodded to that.
"Yeah, I'm still working the kinks on that one." Coby admitted with a small blush and head scratch.
"I'll take that bet!" Miko called out raising her hands.
"Even if it means entering a cave and a possible cave in?" Shara asked and thus Miko went wide eyed and eased back.
"Ok maybe not." Miko admitted as she rather not be forced into facing that particular trauma.
"Hey, check it out he has a cooler in here." Jack said opening the cooler to reveal drinks and nearby a small area for snacks.
"Ok starting to look like a high-tech RV here." Nick said as they finished up the tour.
"Well, you guys are going to be here for her first beta test." Kicker said as the group looked to each other.
"Even Miko?" Jack asked causing Miko to elbow him for that one. "Kidding." Jack said as he raised his hands in mock defeat.
"But what if the Cons or Radan show up?" Nick asked and in turn something banged on the top of the truck. Coby opened the door and outside they saw Elita, Ironhide, Moonracer, and Jazz waiting for them. "Well, that answers that question." Nick said and thus they were all ready to go.
(Later)
The Tank was outside the junk yard as the Autobot team was ready to deploy. Preceptor came along to monitor the test with them, while Team Prime was doing their own thing. Elita would not have approved of this mission under normal circumstances but with their Energon supply at an all-time low they had to take the risk.
"Autobots this is an escort mission, we are to accompany the humans and their new invention to a source of Energon, acquire the Energon and then return to base. If Decepticons or Radan attack, we end the mission and return everyone to base." Elita said and thus they were all ready to move.
"Got it boss-femme." Jazz said with a thumbs up to Elita who nodded.
"Autobots, transform and roll out!" Elita ordered and thus they transformed with engines roaring.
(Inside the Tank)
Everyone was in position to roll and with this in mind Miko spoke up. "Techno-Tank Rock and Roll!" Miko called out and thus everyone looked at her.
"Techno-Tank?" Shara asked with a slight giggle and thus Nick sighed in response.
"Let's just go." Nick said and in turned pushed forward on the controls.
(Outside)
The Tank and Autobots began to drive off and in turn made its way through the Nevada Desert to the nearest source of Energon that it can detect. As they drove off the vehicles kept an even speed as they drove through the desert to where their target sight was located.
(Scene Break later inside the Techno Tank)
It's been about an hour as everyone was on their station doing what was needed. Shara was on navigation. As they drove Miko was yawning a bit while she was on her phone playing a game. The tank was doing its job locating the Energon signal for any veins nearby and so far, had been quiet. Miko kept up what she was doing as Jack was keeping an eye on the sonar while Coby was making sure the tank was running smoothly. Raf, Bud, and Misha were both at the base, with Sierra joining them no doubt, and Kicker was at his parents for his sister's birthday.
Miko then crumbled up an empty bag of chips and threw it towards the trash can closes to Jack. Jack got hit but he ignored it as he tried to focus on it. Miko smiled as she managed to get the bag into the trash after bouncing it off of Jack and did so again. when that succeeded Miko kept it up and in turn Jack had enough of it.
"Miko, would you know it off!?" Jack called out as he glared at Miko.
"What I'm bored." Miko defended as now Nick was getting annoyed here.
"So am I, entertain yourself." Jack said as he got back to worked or he tried too at least.
"With what?" Miko asked and in turn Nick had enough.
"Both of you knock it off or so help me if I have to turn this thing around, you'll both be sorry." Nick said as he glared at the two.
"She/he started it." Jack and Miko both said but then Nick sighed in frustration.
"I don't care who started it, I'm finishing it." Nick said and thus the two teenagers started pouting to this.
Just then a blip appeared, and Jack noticed it. "Hey guys we got Energon." Jack said and in turn Shara saw it too.
"It's weak but it's definitely Energon." Shara confirmed as she started to plot the course.
"Coby." Nick said and thus Coby knew what to do.
"I'll tell the others." Coby said and thus he began to open the hatch up top to tell the Autobots.
(Later)
The group were now hard at work as Jack, Miko, and Coby were using the Spider Bots to start mining the Energon. When they had arrived, there were a few crystals in the area not a lot but just enough to beta test. Ironhide was walking about with a scanner in hand inspecting the area.
"Well big guy what do we have?" Moonracer asked as she looked to Ironhide.
"We definitely have a vein it's not much, but we should score a few cubes of Energon for our stores." Ironhide said as he showed the scanner.
"Moonracer." Elita was heard as she approached the group. "Watch the children and keep them out of trouble." Elita said as she eyes Miko for that one.
"Got it, boss bot." Moonracer said and then went over to keep an eye on the humans.
"According to Preceptor the beta tests are showing promise." Elita said as she looked to Ironhide.
"No kidding check out all we got." Ironhide said as he saw the spider bot in robot mode carrying one of the crystals to a pile which a large crane from the tank grabbed and moved to store away.
Just then Elita's communicator went off as she picked it up. "Elita I am detecting a vein of Energon in your area what is your statues?" Ratchet asked as Elita heard the doctor.
"Worry not Ratchet we are beta testing a new method of locating Energon deposits the vein is our doing." Elita assured as she spoke to the Doctor.
"Very well keep the base posted of the statues." Ratchet said and in turn hung up allowing for the Autobots to get back to work.
"Did Ratchet sound... off to you?" Ironhide asked as he noticed that something was up with how Ratchet spoke.
"So, I was not the first to notice." Elita responded as they knew Ratchet the longest and knew if and when he was sounding different.
"Kind of hard not to notice," Moonracer said as Ironhide soon said, "I wonder what got the doc in such good mood?"
Before anything else was said, a Ground bridge portal as the Autobots pull out their blasters and weapons as Elita said while pulling out her sword, "Heads up team we may have some company!"
The teens saw this as they knew trouble is coming as Nick call out, "Jack, Miko take what you got back to the tanker, Coby get the truck ready to leave on a moment notice!"
"Roger that!" Coby said as he got back to the tanker with his Drone bot first after dumping the energon into the tank before putting it in storage with the other two spider coming back as well, but before they could reach it, Vehicons started to come forth from the portal as soon as they saw the Autobots, they got shot at with the few Con that came through either got shot or took cover quickly.
Ironhide came in with his cannons, blasting at them to make quick work with Elita rush them as she slashed at them with her sword, with Moonracer supporting her from the distant.
Nick quickly reach Pegas as he calls out, "Pegas TEKK-SETTER!" With that Pegas eye glow brightly as he said, "Roger!" with that his back hatch open up as Nick leap in as he goes through his transformation before coming out as he formed his weapon and said, "Tekkaman Blade!"
With that Blade takes off as he threw his weapon at the cons, taking them down with ease as he attached an energy rope to it to bring it back to him, as the other two bots came back to the truck and unload their load into the tanker as well as Jack said, "All good to go Nick!"
"Alright, Coby start driving and contact the base and contact Preceptor for a ground bridge back to the yard," Blade said as Miko called out, "What about you?!"
"I got to bury the vein so the Decepticons can't find the energon!" Blade said as he won't make it easy for the cons to get their hands on the energon, with that Coby started the engine as he drove off as quickly as he could while Blade took off with Pegas and prepared to give the Decepticons a hard lesson to learn.
Blade's shoulder pad opened up and charge with energy as the cons were being held back well enough giving Blade enough time to charge up his weapon as Elita saw this and said, "Autobots move out now!"
With that as the Autobots gotten out of the way as more Cons came through Blade fire his weapon as he called out, "VOLTEKKA!"
The blast came covering up the hole the energon was being mine out of while also came up and hit the Vehicons who got caught in the blast, blowing them away while destroying a few as well with the ground bridge suddenly close before the Voltekka could reach it as Blade and Pegas flown back to the tanker as they came into the hanger area of it as they land in it with Blade entering Pegas to revert back to his normal self.
"D-boy/Nick," Nick hear Miko and Shara called out to him as he turned to them as he called out, "Hey Miko, Shara is everything all right? How the Energon?"
"Yeah, everything good," Miko said as Shara pull out a sheet as she said, "The Energon is good, we have it all secure in the tank."
"You mean Techno-Tank?" Miko said as Nick said to her, "We can talk about the name later, but right now how much did we collect so far?"
"About a few tons worth, which not that bad being a vein we were digging from and the small amount of time that we started at, we collected a decent about for a successful beta test," Shara said as Nick said, "Alright, let get back to the base and put in our findings."

At the Techno-tank and the Autobots in their vehicle mode were driving off, headed to their own ground bridge as they drive straight on through, unaware to them, there was an eye in the sky, and it wasn't an alley.
Laserbeak can be seen in its drone form as it unknown how long it's been in the sky, but no doubt it was there long enough to see what the Autobots, and the space knights were doing.
(Junk yard/workstation base)
Elita 1 team came through with the tanker following behind, as Preceptor saw them and hit a button on the computer shutting down the bridge as the teen soon exit the tanker, Preceptor soon ask, "How did things go?"
"Well other than being detected by the Decepticons, we found a vain of energon that ran deep, and I believe we may have found the source of it," Coby said as Shara gotten a laptop out with all the information on it as she brought it over to the main computers and plug it in, showing the data from the tanker had father as a top surface image is seen at the spot where the group was digging at showing that Coby ran the echo locator through the vain as the screen soon became a vertical becoming fast as the land showing the underground pathway of the energon vain as it travel deep in the ground until a larger pocket is seen as Nick said, "I think we hit energon treasure."
"This is good news, now we just need a way to dig it up," Ironhide said as Preceptor soon said, "Hold on there more coming up."
The image was still loading up as there were thicker vein of energon that ran to the surface as they connected to the local caves in that area, too close to the outside surface.
They continued to look and in turn they saw the images of what was assumed to be a cavern forming. When they saw it the Autobots looked to each other for a moment. "Should we go and check it out?" Moonracer asked as she looked to her commanding officer.
"Might be risky, the Cons caught a look at the Tank, chances are they might be keeping an optic for it now." Ironhide said knowing full well that this might be risky for them.
"Commander, with our Energon Reserves low we cannot afford to ignore this." Preceptor said and thus Elita agreed with him.
"Preceptor, lock on to those coordinates and prepare the tank, we're going mining." Elita nodded and she had more. "Ironhide contact the others see if they can spare a few extra hands." Elita said as she planned to walk out with more Energon then they had originally found.
"Understood." Preceptor said as he began to send the call out for any available Autobots who might be able to assist them in this operation.
(Meanwhile on the Nemesis)
Soundwave entered the commend deck of the Nemesis "What do you have to report Soundwave?" Megatron asked as he looked to his communications chief.
In response Megatron showed Laserbeaks surveillance footage and thus showed the Autobots at the exposed Energon Vein with a new piece of equipment. "It seems the Autobots are having better luck finding a fresh source of Energon then we are." Megatron said as he seemed visibly upset by this information. Soundwave then showed images of a sonic pulse of some kind. Though it did not trigger the Energon to explode it was something to note. "The Autobots are searching for a source of Fresh Energon as well." Megatron said as he saw that the Autobot's newest tool had merit.
Just then the door opened and from it Nightbird walked in. "Lord Megatron is there some way I may be of assistance." Nightbird asked as she had just gotten through a training session with the grunts.
"Ah Nightbird perfect timing." Megatron greeted as he knew his most loyal would not fail him. "I have a task for you, the Autobots may located a fresh source of Energon take a small legion and acquire this source for our own." Megatron said and thus Nightbird smiled and bowed to her lord and master.
"You wish is my command, Lord Megatron." Nightbird said and in turn she went to gather her unit for this mission.
(Back with the Autobots)
A Ground Bridge opened up and from it the Techno-Tank rolled out accompanied by Elita, Ironhide, Moonracer, Jazz, and Hound. "Thank you for coming on such short notice." Elita said thankful to the two Autobots for their aid in this mission.
"It's our pleasure boss-femme." Jazz said with a smirk on his face.
"Hey small fries we got Energon or what?" Hound asked as he tapped the tank on its roof.
(The Techno-Tank)
"Yeah; we got a signal." Nick said as he, Shara, and Coby were suited up while Jack and Miko were there as well.
Miko of course fearfully gulped as she saw the cave before her. Nick then took her hand comforting her which allowed for her to calm down. "Thanks." Miko said and Nick in response simply nodded and smiled.
"Forward." Nick said and thus Coby nodded and got to it.
(Outside)
Elita led the group as the Tank followed after. They began rolling into the cave hoping to find Energon inside to restore their own stores. All the while they shined lights in so to better make their way through the cave.
(Later inside the cave)
The group continued to move in hoping to find something of use. Elita had a scanner in hand as she continued with the search for Energon.
"Hey look Energon!" Moonracer called out and low and behold they saw large crystals of Energon sticking out of the ground.
"The signal is getting stronger." Elita said and thus they continued the path. But their search eventually came to an end as then they arrived in a large cavern that had Energon Crystals all over it. The best part this was a fresh mine free of an Decepticons.
"JACKPOT!" Moonracer called out as she was ready to start grabbing the first Energon crystal she could.
"Autobots mission accomplished, let's start mining." Elita said and in turn they got down to business.
(Scene Break Later outside the Mine)
About three miles from the mines a Ground Bridge opened and from it Nightbird walked out with a scanner in her hand. She was leading a strike unite of Vehicon troopers as they scouted about for the Energon Signal. "Hmm." Nightbird hummed before she proceeded to walk the path to locate the signals source.
Nightbird then stopped as she then looked to the ground and saw tracks on it. "Tracks they lead this way." Nightbird said as she looked to where the Tracks were leading too.
(Back inside the Mines)
The Autobots were hard at work with the drones mining the Energon crystals. Slicing into them with beams at a low level they got the crystals and loaded them onto the tank. Hound and Ironhide were seen carrying large crystals to load up as not to far away Moonracer and Jazz carried a heavy crystal together.
With everyone working hard Elita could not help but smile as she supervised and had a data pad in her servos. If they kept this paste up, they should have enough Energon to get their stores back up. If they could get all the Energon though they should be able to keep themselves running for a good while.
"Elita to base do you copy?" Elita called as she spoke to the base.
"This is the base, I read you loud and clear Commander." Lifeline was heard instead causing Elita to raise a brow as its normally Ratchet who responds.
"Lifeline? Where is Ratchet?" Elita asked with concern over the doctor.
"Um the Doctor is currently... indisposed." Lifeline said with a nervous tone in her voice.
"I see... very well I'm reporting in that we have located a fresh source of Energon and are in the process of mining it." Elita said as she noted that the truck was just about filled with the stuff, and they had hardly made a dent in the deposit they found. "We may require a Ground Bridge to make several trips." Elita said as she did not think they can grab it all in one go.
"Understood standing by." Lifeline said and thus they hung up the called.
"Preceptor." Elita said as she called Preceptor. "The Beta Test for the Techno-Tank has proven to be most successful we have located the Energon Deposit and data will be forthcoming." Elita said as Preceptor was happy to hear this.
"Excellent with this data it should make locating Energon Deposits in the future a far simpler task." Preceptor said happy to know that the Techno-Tank was a success.
"Hey Commander." Jazz said after he and Moonracer finished loading up the last few crystals they could fit onto the Tank. "Techno-Tank is loaded up and read to transport the Crystals to base." Jazz said as he then smiled to this. "I can just taste that liquid goodness." Jazz said as Elita looked bac onto her data pad.
"With the amount we've secured we should have more than enough to restore our Energon Supply." Elita said to which Jazz fully agreed while the Scrapper Drones were being loaded back onto the Techno-Tank. Even though Miko pitched the name it just, sort of stuck now. "Once we've dropped it off back at base, we can continue operations here on this deposit." Elita said only for a new voice to be heard.
"So, you did find a fresh source of Energon." Nightbird was heard and looking to the cave entrance everyone saw Nightbird with Vehicon Troopers entering the mine all with blasters at the ready.
"Decepticons!" Jazz called out as soon the Autobots had their blasters out as well.
"I wouldn't do that." Nightbird said as she looked to the Autobots. "Might set off the Energon." Nightbird said as Elita growled to the Femme Leader knowing she was right. "So why not step away from the Energon you have, and I might just consider letting you walk away." Nightbird offered with an evil smirk on her face. "Your discovery will be an immense help to the Decepticon cause." Nightbird added as Moonracer growled to this.
"Scrap that!" Moonracer called out only to be stopped by Elita.
"Moonracer no!" Elita called out but it was too late Moonracer opened fire and thus Nightbird smirked.
This caused a firefight to begin as both sides took caution in avoiding any shots hitting the Energon. From cover Elita was already calling the base for their emergency. "Elita to base we require an immediate Emergency Ground Bridge stat. Lock on to our coordinates and open the Bridge!" Elita ordered as Moonracer heard this and was not happy about it.
"We're just abandoning the Energon deposit?!" Moonracer asked shocked to hear this.
"We don't have a choice we neither have the numbers nor the tools to hold it and now that the Decepticons have found it they will no doubt send in more." Elita urged as Jazz then stepped in.
"She's right kid, we have to pick our battles but doesn't mean we have to let the Cons walk away with the mine." Jazz said as Hound took out a grenade and was ready to arm it.
Meanwhile the Decepticons continued to fire intent on taking out the Autobots and taking the Energon. "Don't let them escape!" Nightbird called out as they fired upon the cons.
The firefight was still going as the humans and Tekkaman stayed in the Tank. Just as it seemed that the fight would continue without end the Ground Bridge Vortex opened up and in turn the Autobots saw it. "Autobots into the vortex Techno-Tank first." Elita ordered and thus the Autobots began to cover their escape. The Tank was able to make it through first curtesy of Nick followed by Jazz and Moonracer. Elita, Ironhide, and Hound were all that was left as the two large mechs took out a Grenade and smiled to each other.
"FRAG OUT!" The pair called out and thus they threw it to the Energon Crystals.
"Enjoy the mines Decepticons." Elita said just before she, Hound, and Ironhide all entered the Bridge and it closed behind them.
Nightbird's optics widened in shock as she knew what was about to happen. "Fall back!" Nightbird called out and thus she transformed with the Vehicons and began to make their escape. They were halfway out the tunnel before the grenades went off and in turn set off the volatile nature of the Energon Crystals.
Nightbird and most of the Vehicons managed to escape as the mountain went off in a blue smoke to the sky. Nightbird had landed and growled to this clearly upset about it. "Well at least we got ST3-V3 out." A random Vehicons spoke happy that his friend was able to escape with them. Nightbird snarled and smacked the Vehicon in question.
(Back at Autobot Outpost Omega 1)
The Tank made it through with the Autobot team and as they came in Elita smiled at their survival. "We made it." Elita said only to look confused to find Ratchet on a medical berth, cubes of Energon being stacked up by Bulkhead and Bumblebee, and Raf with Misha on the human area.
"I suppose we may have missed something." Irobhide said as he saw the scene before her.
"IT seems we all have." Ratchet said with a tire chuckle as they all stood there in confusion.
"Optimus we've acquired fresh Energon for our reserves though looking at things I suppose so did you." Elita said as Optimus nodded to this.
"I expect a full report later, Elita." Optimus said and thus they were all happy to be ok.
Over with Raf and Misha, Nick, Coby, Jack, and Miko joined them while Nick and Coby took their helmets off. "So, what did we miss?" Nick asked as he looked to the two brainiacs.
"To summarize, Ratchet injected himself with Synthetic Energon that wasn't ready, it steroid him up, he then steroid raged before going after Megatron who did that." Misha summarized as she pointed to Ratchet.
"Ah, got it." Coby said and thus Misha nodded.
"Though the synthetic Energon does hold promise for medical use in its incomplete stage, its comparable to human adrenaline boosters." Misha said as she was already compiling the data. "If one of the bots get injured, we might have a way to help the healing process along." Misha said making a side note to look into it later.
"So, we stopped the Cons from getting the Synthetic Energon and a Fresh Energon mine I'd say today was a good day." Miko said with a smile on her face. It can go without saying that today had been very productive for everyone involved.
