Tekkaman Prime
ESKK: Well, a brand-new chapter as we wind down to the end of Season 1. So, let's get down to it, readers.
(Start Autobot Outpost Onega 1)
They base was abuzz as they knew Optimus and Elita were still out there. They waited with batted breaths for any news of the current Unicron situation and of what the couple had encountered at their location. They could still hear a bit of what was going on, but they were not sure what it was they were hearing. "Optimus have you uncover any further signs of Unicron's emergence?" Ratchet asked worried about his long-time friend.
Prime didn't answer but the Chaos bringer did in his stead. "Unicron is power incarnate and you, the last of the Primes shell parish." Unicron was heard over the communicators as the group all heard this. Shara felt the blood leave her face at hearing the titan's voice, realizing that she had heard it before. From her nightmare the night before, confirming her suspicions and that frightened her. Nick noticed his sister freeze up and knew something was bothering her big time.
"Well, that answers that." Ironhide said and knew it was time to roll.
"We better go help boss bot out there." Jazz said ready to roll out.
"Optimus Elita back up is on the way." Ratchet confirmed as Lifeline would also deploy as the teams on sight field medic.
"Negative." Optimus responded stopping his troops from coming to aid him. "Unicron cannot be defeated by sheer force." Optimus said with a tone that almost suggested experience with this.
(Battle)
Optimus and Elita were back-to-back as they prepared to fight Unicron's manifestations. "He wants me Ratchet this fight must be mine alone." Optimus said as he prepared for battle. As he and Elita got ready to fight Optimus directed his attention to his Conjunx Endura. "Elita, return to base." Optimus said but Elita begged to differ on this.
"I lost you once... I'm not losing you again." Elita said as she had her blasters at the ready. "So don't even think about it." Elita added and thus Optimus knowing he could never beat Elita in an argument simply nodded and activated his battle mask. The Manifestations began their assault as the ones above jumped down to attack. Elita and Optimus shot them down with Elita covering Optimus blind spot.
A few of them landed to which Elita responded by swinging her sword at them. She had her sword held in one hand and her blaster active in the other as she shot and sliced through the manifestations of Unicron. Optimus and Elita fought side-by-side and destroyed many of the stone avatar's more than either of them could count. But it seemed for everyone he destroyed more would take its place as they continued to attack the pair. Elita blocked one of them with her shield as she pushed it back and sliced another one with it. Optimus used the Skyboom shield sparingly as he mainly used it to block some of the manifestation's stronger attacks on them.
"You fight well for the Prime's consort." Unicron said as he glared at Elita, but Elita then threw her sword at the Manifestation before charging and firing. The blade stabbed into the manifestation taking it out as Elita jumped over and reclaimed her weapon.
"Yes, and certain to be your most difficult foe." Elita said glaring at Unicron with contempt.
But as they fought it became clear that it would not be enough. Optimus and Elita soon found themselves pinned by the avatars, unable to get free. Optimus optics widen in shock just when one jumped up and began to fall towards him and prepared to end it.
"Optimus!" Elita cried out struggling to get free. Suddenly the familiar sound of a ground bridge opening filled the area right before the avatar could land a blow on Optimus. Firestar, Ironhide, Arcee, Jazz, Bulkhead, Moonracer and Bumblebee charged in, blasters firing at any avatars that were between them and their leaders. Optimus was soon freed and after Lifeline confirmed that Optimus was still battle ready, began fighting alongside his team with Elita by his side.
"Did Ratchet not relay my command? Return to base." Optimus ordered, not pleased that they had come to aid him. Unicron wasn't impressed by his team members showing up, more avatars appeared around them and attacked.
"Reinforcements will not prevent your destruction disciple of Primus." Unicron announced through his manifestations.
"Optimus, your Unicron's target. Maybe you should consider returning to base." Arcee said as she knew so long as Optimus lived this planet still had a chance at survival.
"These manifestations of Unicron can locate me anywhere on Earth." Optimus said as he had suspect of who the other Primes Unicron detected might be. "Even our bases shielding would only cloak my position for so long." Optimus said but had to inform his team of what Unicron had spoken of. "I will not put others at risk especially when I am not Unicrons only target." Optimus said much to the Autobots shock.
"What do you mean, Prime?" Ironhide asked as he and the team continued to fight off the manifestations.
"Unicron claims there are other Primes on this world and has accused me of hiding them." Optimus said as the team listened while fighting. "So long as I remain in the open his attention will be focused solely on me and not the budding Primes." Optimus said which the base heard as well.
(Back at base)
"Other Primes here?!" Ratchet asked as Shara then spoke up.
"Was that what Unicron meant?" Shara asked as all optics and eyes went to her. "When Ms. Darby was taking us home Unicron attacked us as a tornado, he called me a Disciple of Primus... I never figured out why but now..." Shara trailed off and thus Nick was wide eyed that Unicron was hunting down his sister. "But I'm not cybertronian at least not entirely so why would I be a Prime?" Shara asked but Ratchet had a theory as to the how but now was not the time.
(Back to the battle)
After hearing this from their side Elita stepped up. "Optimus with the current situation perhaps it would be best if you let us take the lead." Elita said as she was ready for the next wave. "Just this once because you and I both know that you hold the means of stopping Unicron so if you fall at least Shara and this other Prime can take your place." Elita said knowing that thanks to this new revelation they now had a backup plan should Optimus fall.
"Very well." Optimus said agreeing to this knowing that if he did fell the other Primes Unicron spoke of might be able to finish this fight.
The Autobots were gathered as they formed a protective wall around Optimus to keep Unicron away from him. "Autobots, let's roll!" Elita ordered and thus they charged intent of getting out of this gorge and away from Unicrons manifestations. They blasted their way through using every skill they had in their arsenal to keep Unicron's manifestations at bay.
IT wasn't easy as they had to jump up from platform to platform, and then another manifestation of Unicron pop up in front of Optimus as he transform into his truck form and had the Skyboom shield on his front grill and smash into the Unicron, running him down before transforming back as another came up behind him, Elita came in with her sword and cut it down quickly as she and Prime quickly move out.
Soon they made it out of the Gorge but were still surrounded by Unicrons as they quickly transform and made a run for it. The Autobots were tripping or breaking a leg of any Unicron they come across until they were out and in the open. They continued to drive through the desert land, until they reach a mountain area as it started to break apart. But this was not caused by an earthquake, but Unicron forming another manifestation that was as big as a mountain.
The Autobots break before transforming back as they came face to face with giant Unicron that was bigger than any enemy they face, even Bruticus as Bumble bee Buzz out, as he was trying to say, "IS this Unicron?"
"No, not Unicron himself, but another of his manifestations."
"If we can't beat Unicron and we can't outrun him, what exactly are we supposed to do?" Bulkhead ask with Optimus only had one idea so far as he said, "All we can do. Neutralize his vessels as they appear, until we find a way to destroy him without destroying the very earth upon which we walk."
"We're going to need some bigger guns," Ironhide said as he and everyone else pull out their blasters ready for another round, as the giant Unicron walk towards them as soon enough the team charge and started firing, while half of them transform into vehicle mode and drove around Unicron feet and shot from behind one of his legs to make him fall, but it seem this one was more resistant to blaster.
The giant Unicron was annoyed by this as it tried to smash the Autobots behind him with its spiked arm and basically carved the ground a new riverbed. On the ground Unicron's attack ended up knocking Ironhide, Bumblebee, Jazz, and Bulkhead to the side.
On the other side of Unicron most of the femmes were all firing before transforming and spread out, but by the swing of Unicron's arm created a massive force of wind striking all of them regardless of where they were at as they all got toss around before transforming back into robot form.
Optimus and Elita were the only ones left standing as they keep firing at the Unicron, but he said, "Fools." then swing his arm down breaking the ground and seeing many rocks and boulders at the two Autobots. The two were able to dodge or destroy a lot of the debris that was coming at them, but it all came at them too fast and soon buried them both.
After that as the team started to recover, and saw the state their leaders were, they quickly got up and try to shoot the giant Unicron's legs out, but it wasn't working as Unicron was upon them as he said to Optimus, "I am this world's past and its future and as of this moment..."
"NO!" Arcee yell out as Ironhide said, "Don't you dare!" The weapon specialist kept on blasting, but it wasn't working as Unicron went on saying, "All Prime are and will simply be passed along with those who stands with them."
"PSI VOLTEKKA!" a familiar voice came forth with a voltekka blast hitting at the leg that was about to stomp on Optimus and Elita, destroying it before it could, then at Unicron's head Dark Energon shot fired through Unicron's head breaking it apart before the entire manifestation came crumbling down.
The Autobots stand down after that as Bumble bee Buzzed out trying to say, "Who did that?" with Arcee step up and turn to him saying, "Wasn't me."
"Me either," Bulkhead said as Ironhide said, "I wish I did." then everyone else just shake their heads to this as Arcee went to her com and said, "Ratchet?"
"What is it? What happen?" ratchet said but before Arcee could say anything, another familiar voice ran out as they said, "WE happened!"
Everyone look towards the pile of stone that was Unicron manifestation, and on top of it was Megatron and Evil as he stood on Megatron's shoulder.
At that moment Megatron leap up and landed before the Autobots with evil hang on tightly when he did that as Bulkhead said, "Megatron?!"
"And Evil too!" Ironhide said as he got his Cannons ready to fire upon the two.
(at the base)
"King Con's there too?" Miko said with Shana spoken up saying, "And with Cain as well."
Nick and the other space knights were shocked to hear this as Ratchet soon said, "They have aligned themselves with Unicron."
"Don't be so sure," Arcee said as it seems that there was more going on as she went on saying, "Megatron and Evil just saved Optimus and Elita's tailpipe." hear that news really surprise everyone expect Nick as he stands there with an upset look on his face.
(Optimus)
Elita gotten herself free with her sword and shield as she used those to cover herself, with Optimus used the Skyboom Shield to cover him as well and throw off most of the rocks off of him before falling down exhausted no doubt he had to use the shield ability for just a moment, at that moment Megatron walk up to him as Optimus look up to see Megatron pointed his Anti-matter cannon at him with the team pull out their blasters ready to fire at Megatron if he tries anything.
At the last moment, Megatron turn his arm and reach out his hand instead as Optimus reach out and grab it, with Megatron helping him up on his feet with evil not saying a word with the team lower their weapon as Megatron started to say, "It is rather Ironic, considering our last encounter. If memory serves, you and Tekkaman Blade were desperately attempting to extinguish our lives."
"That option remains very much in play," Optimus said as he up to Megatron's face when he said that, and if Nick were here, he would most likely say the same thing to Evil, as Megatron smile to this as he said, "I would expect nothing less."
"However, we have a proposition for you and Blade," Evil said as Megatron walks off a bit before he turned back around and said to Optimus Prime, "Join us in defeating our shared enemy. Unicron, the chaos-bringer."
With everyone hearing this out loud as Ratchet give a laugh out loud over the coms as he said, "Absurd."
"Unicron is evil incarnate. If Megatron and Evil was to take any side, why would it be ours?" Ratchet said as Nick spoken up saying, "For Evil, it's clear enough Unicron would destroy humanity and this world despite us being his spawn in a way. Evil rather wants to remove Unicron to claim this world for himself and by extension for the Radan." Nick took a moment to pause as he opted to let Optimus detail Megatron's own megalomania. "But as for Megatron himself... Well Optimus." Nick trailed off to allow Optimus to speak up about the Decepticon leader.
(Optimus)
"Because Megatron's pride would never allow anyone other than himself to rule this planet," Optimus said as it clear both him and Nick understood their archenemy as Megatron said, "You know me all too well, Optimus."
"It seems Blade is recovering from our last battle as well, tell me brother, you think you can still fight?" Evil said as he knew well enough the coms were on for him to hear as Optimus turn up the speaker on his com as Nick said, "As I ever be, but the question is, why do you two need our help? You have the entire Radan forces, and the other Tekkaman under your command."
"Not to mention Megatron Lead an army of cons" Bulkhead said he bring up a good point as Evil said, "For the Tekkaman and Radan forces, they were order to retreat back to command to pack up and set off for another world, as it seems they are cowards before the might of Unicron, but not me."
"And Because this particular endeavor requires something beyond the realm of my command. The power of a Prime," Megatron said as he looked towards Optimus as bulkhead scoffs at this with Jazz said, "Then why do we need you for? AS it seemed we have everything we need."
"On the contrary, Optimus may be the only one who can defeat Unicron, But I remain the only one who can guide you to him. Unicron's lifeblood run through me," Megatron said as evil would have join Megatron on this journey, if not for the plan he and Megatron had come up with to turn Unicron attention away from main plan as Megatron went on saying," Only I can hear his thoughts, anticipate his movements. Optimus, our past alliances Autobot, Deception..."
"Radan and the space knights, all of it doesn't matter if Unicron awakens," Evil said as he was speaking to Nick on this as he knew Nick wouldn't back down from this fight.
(Autobot base)
"The past always matters!" Ratchet said after he slam his fist on the computer as he took this personal, with Nick and the other Space knights knew a choice must be made here. But as the situation with Unicron continued to escalate so to does Megatron and Evil's point on their alliance offer.
(Out in the desert)
"A truce between Autobot, Deception, the space knights, and the Radan. How long do you expect us to believe that will last?" Optimus ask as he knew this truce wasn't a cease fire per say as Megatron said, "Only as long as it mutually beneficial."
"And when our proposed shared mission is complete?" Optimus said with evil speaking up saying, "We'll go back destroying you Autobots and the Space knight, and to what's left of either side of ours will face one another for the rights of this world."
"And it will go my way," Megatron said as evil give a laughing scoff to this as he said to him, "If you say so."
"Brutal honesty from a Deception and a Radan soldier," Arcee said as Ratchet spoken up over the coms saying, "Aligning with the lesser of two evils is still siding with evil."
"The same thing could be said with an enemy siding with the side of good," Shara said over the coms as Evil could only laugh at that thought, but wasn't wrong either as Megatron went on saying, "Do you think you've witnessed the full power of Unicron? Those foot soldiers were nothing more than taste."
"And the main dish has yet to arrive, as what would you think when Unicron wakes up completely?" Evil said as Megatron went on saying, "With ease passing moment, the Bringer of Chaos evolves, Mutating earth from the inside out. What we have witnessed until now is but a prelude of the utter devastation. His rising will wreak upon your world."
"Like your quest for power destroyed Cybertron, or the worlds Radan left behind were nothing but complete wastelands." Elita said as she has her own doubt she like to voice out as Megatron almost yell out, "Make no mistake. This time there will be a planet left for me to rule."
"That is if the Radan does take over this world first, and if we do I will the one to rule it and keep the balance of life going in my image," Evil said as Bulkhead said, "Even if we agree, Unicron's all the way down at the center of the earth. How are we supposed to get there... Drive?"
"There is only one way," Optimus said as he and Ratchet knew the only way to get there is by Ground bridging there as Ratchet said, "Absolutely not!"
(Autobot base)
"Ground bridging into space or Onto moving trains is difficult enough. But plotting a blind jump inside of a sentient being?!" Ratchet said as he knew the danger well enough as he went on saying, "Besides, direct exposure to that much dark Energon will debilitate you. You haven't built up an immunity like Megatron has."
"Yeah, going down there would just be plain suicide," Kicker said as Nick said, "Unless we have someone who knows where exactly to land at."
(The desert)
"It seems my brother is smart enough to know you need a guide there," Evil said as Megatron smile to this as Optimus said, "You can provide Unicron's exact coordinates?"
"If you transport us to this planet's core, I can lead you directly into Unicron's spark. The very heart of his darkness," Megatron said making a strong argument as evil knew they cannot refuse this offer.
"Commander with all with all due respect even if we survive the jump how are we supposed to stop Unicron?" Firestar asked as she knew that just getting to his spark will be hard as is.
Optimus looked to Megatron who silently nodded as they both knew of the one thing Unicron fears on this world. "With the Matrix of Leadership." Optimus announced and in turn this got the attention of several people.
(Back at the Base)
"What is that?" Fowler asked as he found it curious.
"Come on doc tell us." Kicker said which Shara felt a memory resurface for her.
"A vessel of pure energy the collective wisdom of the primes." Ratchet said and thus Shara then cut it.
"IT was originally wielded by Prima of the original 13 who then imbued it with a piece of his fellows bar for one and passed it down to his successor each Prime adding to its every growing power and wisdom." Shara said as she was in some sort of trance. "Originally it was within the sheath of the Star Saber but now each Prime who bears its burden carries it within." Shara said as her eyes returned to normal. "Wait how did I know that?" Shara asked as she didn't know why she said it or where she even learned this.
"Well, it saves us time." Misha said as she had typed it all down.
"So, wait Optimus has the Matrix already?" Jack asked and thus Ratchet nodded to this.
(Back to the field)
"It was the combined power of the Primes that defeated Unicron so long ago." Megatron said as he made his way towards Optimus. "The very reason he seeks to destroy you and the two he believes you to be hiding." Megatron said as he sounded annoyed that there were other Primes he didn't know about.
"It would follow that unleashing the power of the Matrix directly into Unicrons spark would return him to stasis." Optimus said as he considered the options carefully.
(Back at the base)
"Wait so you're saying that if everything goes right, Unicron won't wake up until the next Planetary alignment?" Sierra asked as she suspected the Planetary Alignment was a rare thing but bound to happen again long after they were gone.
"Yeah, can't we syphon him out somehow?" Jack asked but Nick sighed to this.
"He's not in the Earth's core Raf he is the Earth's core." Raf said and thus Ratchet agreed on this.
"Rafael is correct. Tampering with your core could affect the magnetic poles trigger the very cataclysmic event we are attempting to remedy." Ratchet explained as this meant one thing for the group. "Tragically Unicron is your planets very seed always has been and always must be." Ratchet said and thus this was a dire situation for them.
(Back at the field)
"Hello." Evil said as he saw the stones moving once more and from it another manifestation began to form up.
"Ratchet send a ground bridge now!" Elita ordered as they needed to fall back.
Not long after the Ground Bridge vortex formed as the Autobots held their ground. "Wait we're opening up a direct path into our base with Megatron and Evil right there?" Moonracer asked as she glared at Evil for what he did to Miko.
"And seriously they're going to risk their own skid plates to save us?" Bulkhead asked but Ironhide glared at the leader of the Decepticons and his young protege.
Megatron laughed maniacally at the irony of it all while Evil chuckled a bit. "We have an earth saying, enemy of my enemy is my friend." Evil said as he and Megatron glared at the Manifestations as they formed.
"Consider the offer we shall keep it busy." Megatron said and thus he transformed into his jet form while Evil activated his boosters to fly after the Manifestations. In turn the two began to attack keeping Unicrons attention away from the Autobots who retreated into the portal.
(Meanwhile on the Nemesis)
Nightbird, Arachnid, and Soundwave were in the command deck as Nightbird seemed worried. "Any news from Lord Megatron?" Nightbird asked with concern for her lord. Soundwave turned his head which meant they had not been able to contact Megatron. "Scrap." Nightbird growled to this knowing that they needed their leader while the world erupts in chaos.
"Hmm it would seem our leader has abandoned us Commander Nightbird, perhaps we should consider the possibility of a future... without Lord Megatron." Arachnid said which served to trigger Nightbird who smacked her across the bridge and then jumped over to her. Slamming her foot down on Arachnid's head Nightbird glared at the femme.
"Would you like to repeat that, Arachnid?" Nightbird asked applying force to her stomp.
"I jest, commander." Arachnid struggled before Nightbird smirked to this. She considered her options and then had an idea on how to contact Megatron.
"Soundwave." Nightbird spoke as she leaned close to the communications chief. "I'm going to raid Lord Megatron's Dark Energon stores to try and contact him, in case I do not survive or return... keep a close eye on Arachnid." Nightbird said and thus Soundwave understood what Nightbird was doing. Using the mental link, she planned to contact Megatron via Dark Energon assuming she survives the process. Taking her leave Nightbird went to where Megatron had the Dark Energon stored knowing even if it earned her Megatron's rage she would not allow harm to come to her lord and master.
(Later back at the Autobot Base)
Apparently Megatron and Cain made very compelling arguments and the choice had already been made by Optimus and Elita. They simply needed to prepare the base for any tricks the pair may have up their sleeves. "I know desperate time calls for desperate measures but bring Megatron here." Ratchet snapped with an angry tone which was justified.
"How can you even think of letting those sadistic monsters near the children after what they did to Raf and Miko?" June demanded just as upset for good reason as well.
"They will be closely monitored, and only allowed to linger long enough to send us on our journey." Optimus assured them as Pegas walked in ready to do some damage to Cain. "Not one moment more." Optimus added as he clearly did not like this but had no choice in the matter.
"What's going to stop the con from calling in an air strike if he knows where you live?" Fowler asked hotly as Mikayla agreed on this.
"By ground bridging Megatron here, he will be unable to get a fix on our co-ordinance." Optimus explained but Nick had more to give.
"Plus, I had Ratchet and Preceptor work on something to prevent the Radan mental link from contacting us so Cain can't use the mental link either." Nick added but Jack had a question of his own.
"Optimus what's going to happen to you, when all your Matrix energy is released?" Jack asked worried about the leader.
"The power within the matrix has not previously been utilized in this particular manor." Optimus admitted as Shara had more to ask on this.
"But you have an idea, don't you?" Shara asked as she still had trouble believing herself to be a reborn Solus Prime. He turned his attention back to the other members of his team and their remaining human friends.
"Autobots, if humankind is to be saved, I have no choice but to proceed. But you do." Optimus said as he refused to force any of the Autobots here into a fight they did not want.
There was only a short pause before Bulkhead spoke up, breaking the deep and tense silence. "Well, I don't know about humankind but I'm willing to do it… for Miko." Bulkhead said as he stood tall.
"For Jack." Arcee replied before Bumblebee beeped, and they all knew he was saying the same for Raf.
"I'll do it for Nick." Ironhide said surprising the Space Knight Leader.
"Sierra." Chromia added as she was ready to roll out.
"I plan to make it back, if only to keep whipping Kicker into shape." Firestar said as the femme samurai was all for it.
"For Bud." Moonracer added as the youngest femme of the team had bonded with the youngest Tekkaman.
"Misha." Lifeline went on as the young nurse would not abandon her favorite Tekkaman's people.
"Yeah, you got me then too." Jazz added as he looked to Coby and Lori with a smirk on his face.
"I'll follow you anywhere Optimus but mostly for our human allies." Elita said as she gave Shara a look one that reminded Shara of her own mother.
(Back to the battle)
Megatron and Evil were flying around as they took on Unicron's manifestations with Megatron firing at them and Evil riding on the leader's form. Evil then jumped off and fired off another Psi-Voltekka at the manifestations head at pointblank range. Evil landed on Megatron's back again as the pair flew about taking on their foes.
"Megatron we are sending transport." Optimus called and in turn Evil smirked as did Megatron. "You can always be relied upon to listen to reason, Optimus." Megatron said and in turn flew to where the Ground Bridge would form. But before he did that, they took out the last few manifestations with Evil using Crash Intrude to blast through the chest of one while Megatron punched through the head of the other.
They soon landed on the ground and once on their feet began to walk in with Evil reverting back into Cain. The Ground Bridge Vortex stood before them as they began to enter the Autobot base. "That was fun." Cain said as he smirked while walking into the portal.
(Back at the Autobot Base)
"Come on not fair me and Miko never got to see them." Bud said as he and Miko were being pushed out of the room. Or at least Bud was Miko wasn't putting up a fight on this. "Why do we have to hide?" Bud asked and thus it was Miko who spoke up.
"Because their unpredictable." Miko said as she, June, Sierra, Jack, Raf, June, and Fowler all went to the back to hide. The Tekkaman in the room though were suited up with Pegas aiming his guns at the vortex ready to open fire the first signs of a trap. They each had their crystals on hand for if and when the trap is shown. Entering the base Cain and Megatron were seen inside the Ground Bridge Vortex.
Once the pair were in their base, Nick approached Cain and in turn the twin brothers glared at each other. "So, this is where the magic happens? Quaint." Megatron said as if to taunt them over the fact he was a guest here.
Cain took a small look around the base noting that it was a missile silo and making a mental note of it for later. "Well brother do you plan to keep staring at me?" Cain asked taunting Nick in his own way.
"Cain... Megatron being here makes sense but why are you here?" Nick asked as he glared at Cain who had eyes on him now.
"Simple the Autobots and Megatron can't go in full force less the rouse Unicron's attention... I, think that we need to split his attention inward and outward." Cain revealing his plans for a two-pronged attack. "But to draw Unicron's attention outward we need... live bait." Cain said as he looked over to Shara on this one.
Before anyone could object though Miko was heard roaring as from the corner Raf and Miko came forward. "You-" Raf growled before the other humans stopped him.
"Ah you're looking much better than the last time we met little one." Megatron said looking down at all of the humans there. "Humans, resilient a wonder why Radan was so invested in acquiring your kind." Megatron said as Cain noticed Miko there.
"Huh so my brothers main squeeze I have to admit." Cain began as he eyed the girl who glared at him. "Not bad." Cain said showing he approved of his brothers intended mate.
"Come on guys they're not worth it." Jack said pulling Raf over to his mom who steered the younger boy out of the room while Miko stayed for a moment longer.
"And you." Megatron said, his voice making Jack stop. "I never forget a face, even that of a human." Megatron said as Jack turned briefly to look back at Megatron before he walked away but Miko felt she had to add something to Cain.
"Just tell me something Cain, why do you hate your brother so much. Shara told us how inseparable you two use to be." Miko said as she wanted answers over how someone like Cain can be related to D-Boy.
"Hate? Is that what you think?" Cain asked as it showed a glimpse of his own madness.
"Ratchet, obtain the destination coordinates from our guest." Optimus ordered and thus Megatron went to the main computer with Ratchet to give him the coordinates. Meanwhile every Autobot had their blasters trained on him ready to open fire should Megatron try anything.
This gave the Tekkaman in the base time alone to discuss Cain's plan of attack. But first Miko's question had to be answered. "Miko Nakadai correct? You asked me why I hated my brother." Cain said as he looked to Miko. "It's actually the opposite, I love Nick, I love him so much I want to be him." Cain said as this surprised everyone and shocked over the level of madness Cain operated under. "Be honest with me Miko, what do you see in him, I'm sure whatever he has to offer I can offer the same and more." Cain said only for Nick to push Cain away from Miko a bit.
Nick then gave Miko a look and this she began to join the other humans leaving the group together. "So, what was your plan again, Cain?" Nick asked as he glared at his twin.
"Unicron thinks Shara is a Prime right?" Cain asked as he looked to his twin. "By that logic she too is a target, so we use Shara as live bait to draw Unicrons attention outward to give the team inward some breathing room." Cain said as he looked to the group. "A combat unit will then fight off his manifestations until Optimus and his team completes their own mission." Cain said as this got Nick's attention.
"And why would I risk Shara's life on that?" Nick asked but Shara then put a hand on her brother's shoulder.
"Nick, we don't have a choice." Shara said as Cain smirked to his sister being the voice of reason.
"Always knew you were the voice of reason baby sister." Cain said but Shara then glared at Cain.
"You lost that right already Cain as far as I care I only have two brothers left and you're not one of them." Shara said as her tone actually shocked Cain for a moment there.
"I see." Cain said accepting this as fact.
(Meanwhile with Jack)
Jack was following the rest of the group to the back which he opted to take a step to the side so that Miko can get through. But then Optimus arrived as he had one more thing to do. "Jack." Optimus said which got Jack's attention. He looked to the side to make sure they were alone before he kneeled down to Jack. "Will you keep something for me?" Optimus asked knowing he had to do this.
"Sure." Jack said before Optimus then held out a huge key card. He then brought it down to Jack as it slowly shrunk in size until it was small enough for Jack to hold. "What is it?" Jack asked curious as to what it was.
"It is the key to the Ground Bridge Power supply." Optimus said while avoiding eye contact with Jack.
"Okay but... shouldn't Elita or Ratchet have this? Maybe even Nick would be better suited for it." Jack asked as he didn't feel like he should have it.
"Perhaps." Optimus conceded but had nothing but praise for Jack. "But I have been impressed by how much you have matured since we first met." Optimus said as he knew that Nick had come a long way as have Jack. The two were more brothers than Nick was with Cain. "As such I feel you have earned the responsibility of safeguarding this important device until I return." Optimus said as he placed his trust in Jack.
"I won't let you down." Jack said with determination in his voice.
(With Nick and Mikayla)
"You want to what?!" Mikayla asked as she stayed behind to speak with Nick.
"I want my team to go perform rescue operations, there are people trapped or in danger from all the weather disasters they need help and safety." Nick said making it clear that it was needed.
"Out of the question." Mikayla said as she was under strict orders for the Tekkaman to stay underground.
"With all due respect Special Agent." Elita spoke as she walked in. "The Tekkaman are going to be public regardless of if your Government censors it or not." Elita said as she looked to the woman. "At least this way we can control how we share it." Elita said making it clear that it was needed.
"Please I'll take full responsibility for this." Nick said and thus Mikayla sighed to this.
"I'm bound to get a court-martial for this." Mikayla said knowing they would go regardless.
"Witwickey." Fowler spoke as he approached the woman. "With present circumstances I say it's time to let them out." Fowler said supporting Nick on this one much to his shock.
"Then I suppose it's time to activate Project Blue Earth." Mikayla said as she then glared over to Megatron. Cain noticed this and knew what came next. Megatron can spare a few moments to let these human and Tekkaman awaken this Project Blue Earth of theirs.
(Scene Break Autobot Air Base)
The Ground Bridge came to life and from it the Space Knights with Cain, Mikayla, and Fowler walked out. Elita had also arrived as the Autobot leader had brought, Firestar, Ironhide, Pegas, Jazz, Lifeline, Moonracer, and Chromia with her. They were soon greeted by Jetfire, Wingsaber, Powerglide, Windblade, Preceptor, and Hound. "This way." Preceptor said and thus he began to lead them to where they keep the Blue Earth.
(Inside a Hangar)
Lights came to life as it revealed to the group a ship ready for takeoff. "This is BU-13 Astro Combat Vessel AKA Project Blue Earth." Mikayla introduced as Cain saw it as well. "Utilizing Fermion Technology and reverse engineered Cybertronian technology this vessel was designed to take the fight to Radan's front door." Mikayla said as she glared at Cain for a bit. "It's fast enough and powerful enough for the rescue operations you plan to perform." Mikayla said and thus Nick looked to it.
"That's so cool!" Miko was heard all of a sudden causing them all to look to see Miko here. Even Cain was caught off guard by Miko as he wondered how she did that.
"Miko." Elita began but Nick was calm about this.
"No time to argue everyone load up." Nick said and thus Fowler knew what this meant. Nick stayed behind for a bit as Pegas stood stalwart and ready. "Miko." Nick began but Miko cut him off.
"Look I'm not here to sneak aboard... I just wanted to wish you luck." Miko said but Nick had other ideas on this.
"I know." Nick said as he looked to the side for a bit. "Actually, I'm kind of glad you came this time... I was worried I'd never get to do this afterwards." Nick said and thus Miko grew confused.
"Do what?" Miko asked but then stopped as Nick smashed his lips against Miko's causing her to go wide eyed to this. For Miko it felt like lightning was going through her body but in a pleasurable mind-blowing sort of way. Miko began to unconsciously lift her leg up behind her like some cliche romance movie while wrapping her arms around Nick's neck.
When the two parted Nick looked to her as Miko was shocked that she just had her first kiss with Nick. Nick was about to leave but Niko then dragged the boy back and glared directly into his eyes. "You better come back and give me more of those kisses if for any reason but to rub it into Cain's smug ass face. Otherwise, I will research satanic magic just to drag your soul out of Hell and shove it into this big guy's body!" Miko said while pointing at Pegas.
"I promise." Nick said with a smile as Shara was watching the whole thing.
Shara and Lori were watching with Misha as well as Misha rolled her eyes while Lori gushed to this. "My ship has sailed." Shara joked as now they had one last thing to worry about.
Nick had every reason to return, and he will do so. He had faith that Optimus and his team will finish their mission, so they had to do their part and save as many lives as possible. Cain was ready to go as he knew that after Unicron was bested the game was to change big time. But now it was time for the Space Knights to prepare the Blue Earth for takeoff.
(Meanwhile over on the Nemesis)
Nightbird entered Megatron's personal vault of Dark Energon as she saw the dark matter that had yet to be processed. She knew what she was about to do would be considered treason, but she does it for the sake of Lord Megatron. Thus, she proceeded to reach out and take one of the crystals from the stone and held the sliver for a moment. Steeling her resolve Nightbird prepared to take the final plunge here.
"Foe the greatness of Lord Megatron." She said and in turn with a roar Nightbird stabbed the sliver of Dark Energon into her spark chamber causing her to roar out from it. "Symbiosis!" She cried out as her systems began to fill with the dark matter with her optics shifting to the violet color of Dark Energon. Now she had more power and with it she shall continue to serve Megatron as his faithful tool.
(Meanwhile in the Earth's Core)
The Ground Bridge Vortex appeared and from it Megatron walked through followed by the Autobots, Optimus, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee. They were deep inside the Earths core as the sound of Unicron's spark beat could be heard echoing all around them. It was clear that this was not supposed to be how the Earth looked inside suggesting Unicron was in fact mutating the planet into his new body.
"So how long before Unicron knows where here?" Arcee asked as she looked to Megatron.
"Make no mistake he already does." Megatron said and thus he proceeded to lead them to where Unicrons Spark Chamber waits. Their only hope was that their allies aboveground can keep Unicrons attention long enough for them to get to Unicron's spark.
But unknown to them a massive structure above them began to move and shift before it moved around as an eye. This meant that at the moment they were in what equated to Unicrons head and the fact it was moving suggested that time was running out for Earths people.
