EPOV
Our fingers are tightly intertwined above our heads, all while the heels of her feet dig into my ass.
I sink further into her.
She's always tight.
Always.
We fit together perfectly.
"Please," she breathes out.
It's a ragged plea.
I unlock our fingers and hook her right leg over my arm, lifting and pushing it back onto my mattress.
She gasps.
I know how she feels.
I'm able to plunge into her deeper from this angle.
It's more, it's everything.
She squeezes our hands that are still connected.
"Fuck me," she pants.
I quicken my pace feeling like I'm about to unravel.
She clenches around me first, her back arching with a cry.
I cum, my hips slowing their pace.
I look down at Bella taking her in.
Her wild chocolate locks fanned out around her.
Eyes closed.
Breath slowing.
Sweat sliding down her brow.
I love her.
Her eyes flutter open.
I gently loosen my hold on her leg and untangle our connected fingers.
Her hands come up stroking my chest.
"Don't be getting an ego, but you're kind of a God," she tells me almost shyly while her eyes avoid mine.
I lean down kissing her before I pull out.
I am in love with her.
When Hadley said she wished Bella lived with us, my chest squeezed. She was half asleep but I knew how my daughter felt about Bella. How I felt about Bella.
It has been almost two months but she is what I want, we want.
I stand to go to the bathroom to throw out my condom, I notice Bella following behind me on shaky legs.
She plops herself onto the toilet to pee.
I am kind of thrown that she is this comfortable with me.
Her eyes meet mine in the mirror.
"What?" she asks.
"Nothing?"
"Are you asking?" she teases. "Why are you staring?"
"If I say anything, you might get defensive or weird," I tell her honestly because she truly is a wild card.
She finishes peeing, wipes, and stands before washing her hands.
"You just peed in front of me," I say.
"My God," she laughs.
"What?"
"Are you really freaked out by that?" she asks with another disbelieving laugh.
"Noooo," I say slowly because I'm not, I'm just surprised she isn't.
"You do know you were just inside of me, and if I don't go after we just fucked, I can get a UTI," she points out matter-of-factly. "My tits are out as well as your dick, like there is nothing to hide."
She's not wrong.
God, I love her.
I nod.
She rolls her eyes.
"Man up," she tells me.
I throw her over my shoulder before tossing her on the bed.
She looks up at me indignant.
Then she stands making a show of pulling her tank over her head and her boy shorts up her legs.
"Good now?" I ask her.
"I told you," it's a warning.
She climbs in under the covers, I follow pulling her close.
"What happens if you want to go another round?" I ask in her ear, my palm covering the exposed skin of her stomach.
"Then you can just peel off my tank and underwear and we can have another go. I can redress afterward," she says like it's logical.
My fingers drift under the waistband of her boy shorts.
I stroke as she arches into me.
"These seem like they're getting pretty drenched," I murmur, biting the lobe of her ear.
"You're an asshole," she whines while I finger her.
"What was that?" I tease stroking her clit faster.
"Ass—hole," she breathes.
When she cries out I slow down my pace.
I watch her chest heave as she comes down.
I remove my hand from her underwear.
I fall beside her, my now noticeable erection tenting under the duvet.
Her warm cheek lays on my shoulder, her eyes peeking up at me.
"Didn't work," she mumbles.
"What didn't?"
"These suckers are staying on," she says with a laugh while rolling away from me.
She stays on her side curling in on herself.
I wait until her breathing evens out and I know she's asleep before I spoon her.
I keep her as close as possible.
Loving her is all I can think of until I fall asleep.
The morning light shines through my blinds when I blink awake. The weight of Bella lies spread out along me.
I palm her ass.
She moves against my morning wood.
A knock comes from outside my door.
"Told ya," Bella's sleep-rough voice says against my neck.
"Dad?" Hadley's timid voice calls through my door.
Bella rolls off me and I groan.
I get up grabbing a pair of boxer briefs and sweatpants from my drawer.
I look back at Bella to see her hugging my pillow to her before I open the door.
"Your door's locked," Hadley tells me with confusion in her tone.
"Bella sleepwalks," I lie.
Bella's messy bedhead pops up and she shoots me a glare. "Excuse me?"
I shuffle Hadley out of my room, partially closing the door.
"She's sensitive about it," I tell her.
"Couldn't she bump into something?" she asks, concerned.
"That's why we have to lock the door to keep her in," I explain, wrapping my arm around her small shoulders as I guide her to the kitchen.
I feel her shoulders sag in relief with my answer.
I'm an asshole.
"What do you want for breakfast?" I ask Hadley once she takes a seat on the stool at the island.
I mess with the coffee maker while I await her answer.
"What does Bella want?" she asks me.
"What does Bella want, what?" Bella asks, walking into the kitchen.
Her hair is now up in a messy bun on the top of her head. I notice the waistband of my boxer briefs peeking out of the waistband of my black sweatpants she's wearing.
Her arms wrap around Hadley from behind and she sways her from side to side.
"What do you want Dad to make us for breakfast?" she asks Bella with a giggle.
"Don't we have Aro's Brunch staff meal?"
"The kid needs to eat before we go," I point out. "Or do you only appreciate Aro's cooking? Don't tell me you're a food snob, Bell?"
She rolls her eyes.
"What do you have to offer?" she asks, still holding on to my daughter.
Everything.
I take a moment to think about it.
"Had, how about I make you an omelet, and Bell, I'll make you a surprise," I offer them both.
"An omelet sounds good," Hadley says with a nod.
I'm quick to whip up Hadley's omelet and I even make sure to sneak in some spinach amongst the cheese and bacon.
For our breakfast, I keep it simple, bagel and lox.
"Hold the phone, did you steal that from Aro, Edward?" Bella asks in shock when I pull out the high-end lox.
"Pretty sure my brother-in-law is our boss and an investor in the restaurant, he lets me browse Aro's fridge," I defend myself.
"Talk about food snob," she mumbles, earning a giggle from Hadley.
"I don't have to share with you," I warn with a shrug.
"Is that what you're teaching this impressionable young lady?" Bella asks with a scoff.
"I'm insulted," I say, taking a bite of my food instead of handing Bella hers.
"Dad," Hadley scolds.
Bella sticks her tongue out at me when Hadley takes a bite of her omelet.
I sigh before I give in and hand her plate to her.
She moans after taking a bite.
It brings me back to last night when she was writhing under me in bed.
I get her to make the same noise.
"Bella?" I hear Hadley ask, breaking me from my dirty thoughts.
"Yeah, Sweets?" Bella says around a mouthful of food.
"Are you sleeping over again tonight?" she asks her.
I know that I should be the one to nip this in the bud, but I want Bella around all the time. Call me selfish.
Bella looks at me for help but I don't know what to say either.
"I have plans tonight…" she trails off before turning a glare on me.
I almost ask her what she's referring to.
"Oh," Hadley says, displeased with her answer.
"Are you hanging out with Alice tomorrow?" she asks.
Hadley nods.
"Maybe I can stop by the bookstore after work and we can grab a late lunch," she suggests.
Hadley gives her a tentative smile but it doesn't reach her eyes.
Bella sees this and I can instantly see that she hates the disappointment she's caused her.
"We should have a movie night, just the two of us," I suggest hoping that will brighten her mood.
"Okay," she mumbles, finishing the rest of her breakfast.
I'm used to seeing Hadley like this after years of Rose's countless broken promises, but this isn't fair to Bella.
Bella watches her with a frown while she pops the last bite of her bagel into her mouth.
I think this is the first time I've ever seen Bella so quiet.
"I'm— uh, going to get a shower," she says into the awkward silence.
I give her a smile before she heads down to my room.
When I hear my door close I sit beside my sullen daughter.
"I know you're bummed about Bella not being able to hang out tonight, but she had plans," I try to reason with her.
She sighs.
"Bella does have a life outside us," I tell her honestly.
We don't belong to Bella and I don't want her to feel like she has to give in to all of Hadley's wishes. Hadley also shouldn't guilt her about it either.
"I know, she has Emmett," she mumbles.
I almost smile.
Almost.
"She is also friends with Ali and Jazz," I point out. "You should be excited that she wants to take you out to lunch."
"You get to spend more time with her," she argues.
She's jealous of me hogging all of Bella's time.
I should feel hurt that she's not jealous of Bella hogging my time.
I'm not though because I get it.
I feel the same way when Bella spends time with others.
We both need to suck it up before we scare Bella away.
"I see her a lot at work, but I don't get to spend much time with her. I get it, Bella is the best, but we both need to understand that she has a life outside of us. You have school and playdates, what if I made you spend all your time with me and only me?" I ask her.
Her nose scrunches.
"You work a lot, I would get bored," she tells me.
"See, we all need to be social with other people or we would all be bored with just one person," I tease, honking her nose.
She giggles and I see that her mood lifts.
"I am excited to have lunch with Bella tomorrow," she says with a shy smile.
Now I'm jealous.
I tell Hadley to get ready before Esme gets here.
Bella is finishing up her shower when I walk into my bathroom. She notices me when I take a seat on the toilet lid.
"That kid really knows how to drive the knife in," she tells me while she rinses the shampoo out of her hair.
"I talked to her," I assure her.
"I'm going to the Rangers game with Em," she explains, even though she should know she doesn't owe me an explanation. "They're suite seats, free beer, and food."
She has stopped rinsing and is looking at me glumly through the glass.
"Bell, she'll be fine, she needs to learn that we can't monopolize all of your time," I tell her with a smile.
She's still frowning.
"Don't let her guilt you," I warn.
"I'm not," she insists.
"Uh-huh," I say, not believing her.
We don't argue about it, she hops out of the shower so I can get in. Hadley's in a better mood when I find her and Bella watching something on Bella's phone.
I watch Bella closely and can still see the guilt eating away at her.
We are going to have to work on the subject of time sharing.
A/N: Posting this a little late but I'm busy the rest of the weekend and work is going to be busy next week. Enjoy!
