So here is just a bit of padding before we get into the adventure and have a little more insight into Vanessa's character

Now obviously Raph was not pleased about having to go on an adventure with Vanessa

"Listen Buddy..." Vanessa huffed "...I'm not exactly thrilled with this arrangement either." It was the next day and once again Vanessa was given a breakfast of bacon and fried eggs which she ate while watching TV with Mikey, since she had fallen asleep during the movie Mikey once restarted Labyrinth so she could see all of it before this dangerous mission, Vanessa found herself really liking the 'Magic Dance' song all the other songs kind of fell flat for her.

"What was your life like...Before you turned into a Spider?" Mikey asked

Vanessa was caught off guard by that question "You...You really want to know?" She asked

"Well yeah." Mikey said "We only have a few human friends so we kind of always want to know more about them."

Vanessa sighed "I guess if you knew me back then...I was was otherwise a forgettable kid other than the fact I was also a weird kid and not in a good way if the other kids were to be believed...See I have this...Thing called High Fuctioning Autism...Since I was very small I always felt more connection with the cartoon characters I saw on TV than the actual people in my life, real people were always just annoying rather than the characters on TV or on the movie screen who always seemed to be more funny and likeable like the kind of people I would actually want to be with...My classmates would do nothing but tease me for my weirdness and my parents...My parents just didn't understand me, always telling me to clean my room, when my room was messy because that's the way I liked it, I put my things where I wanted them to be and my parents were always messing with my stuff I was always like 'Don't touch that!' 'Don't put that there!' and no matter how many times I told them they'd always forget and they say I never told them despite the fact I've done so a million times and I was like...When you become a grown-up do you fall victim to some sort of brain rotting disease or something? Anyway I channeled my feelings through art and became really good at drawing, than through the internet a discovered websites full of people who liked the same things I liked, I posted my drawings on one of those online art websites and found lots of people loved them they just didn't live anywhere near me..."

Raph actually did stop and listen to this story and he realized this poor girl trapped in a spider body was actually quite a lot like himself, full of anger and feelings of being trapped...Raph was for the first time beginning to feel remorse for how harshly he had treated her...

Meanwhile Jonathan had found Jervis and the two men secretly confided in each other how they both felt like they were over their heads in this place.

"I don't think I can do it..." Jervis said as he twiddled his fingers "Using my mind control chips so that this poor creatures will be absolutly docile while they're being dissected or something similar?! I may have done some bloody wicked things but this...No this is too far!"

Jonathan sighed he didn't know why he suddenly found himself sympathyzing with Mutant Animals...Maybe because they were outcasts like himself and his fellow Rogues? He quietly asked "Have you had any dreams about crows?"

"Crows?" Jervis cocked his head "If you're dreaming about crows I'd say that's because that's your usual bread and butter but already I'm getting the sense there is something else you're not telling me."

"In this dream..." Jonathan said "...This particular crow has only a skull for a head."

Jervis' eyes widened at that disturbing image "Curiouser and curiouser...And you're quite certain that this vision isn't fear gas related..."

"I'm quite certain..." Jonathan said "...Besides none of my fear gas hallucenations have been quite this lucid and also the Crow in my dream...Said things...Cryptic things."

"Riddles?" Jervis asked "You think this might involve Edward?"

"What it said..." Jonathan said "And I quote 'Bleeder, Beautiful My Dearest, My Sweet Beast I'm coming Desolation is coming."

And Jervis turned white as a ghost.

So that's it for now, but seems we've reached a turning point in Raph and Vanessa's relationship
