Hi everyone. Here I bring you the new chapter, I want to apologize for the small mistakes I made in previous chapters. I was very tired and it was very late when I wrote that part of the chapter. I hope you like today's chapter, with nothing more to say. See you later.
The week went by very fast. The girls were teaching me some things that I should know and they were learning some things about me, but I couldn't help but feel sad.
Frankie, she was a very kind, very gentle and kind-hearted girl like Diana, Clawdeen was a very loyal girl, always willing to help her friends and great like Kara, and Draculaura a girl with a somewhat shy attitude but she also proved to be a very gentle, sincere and determined girl like Karen.
Today was Sunday. As usual, she was training in the backyard of the mansion doing a couple of squats before starting to do one-handed push-ups with a rock on her back. On the other hand, the girls were having their breakfast quietly.
"Wow, he puts a lot of demands on himself in training. How long has he been exercising?" Draculaura asked as he watched me throw a couple of punches at a log that he used as a punching bag.
"I don't know, when I woke up I saw him doing kicking and swinging with a flaming sword." Frankie said as she drank some tea.
"Does he have a flaming sword !?" Clawdeen screamed in surprise. That made me stop hitting the log and see that the girls were having breakfast.
"Oh hello girls. Good morning, I made a lot of noise didn't I?" I asked shyly as she greeted something nervous.
"Not really, we just woke up." Draculaura said as she looked at me.
"By the way, how long have you been training?" Frankie asked as she looked at me.
"Well. I was training since five in the morning." I said while scratching the back of my neck.
"What? Why so early?" Draculaura asked in surprise.
"Diana and I always go to training early, at the beginning it was a very difficult and practically very exhausting training but after that I got used to it." I said as she looked at the girls.
"Alright girls, do you know what day is today?" Cleo asked as she looked at her friends.
"Emm Sunday? Besides, today is our last day of vacation?" Frankie asked somewhat confused.
"Yes, I know. But today girls, there are sales on the maul for the beginning of school." Said the Egyptian girl. When I heard that I did not understand why, but I felt a chill run all over my spine.
"That's great! We can get Benja some new clothes." Draculaura said which sent another shiver down my spine.
"Better go now, before everything runs out." Clawdeen said as she got up from her chair.
"But what about Benja? He only has his hero suit." Frankie said as she looked at me.
"Don't worry Frankie, look." I said as I closed my eyes. At that moment the girls saw how an aura of fire covered my entire body before disappearing showing that I was wearing my normal clothes.
"You have to teach me to do that." Clawdeen said very surprised like the rest of the girls.
"Alright, let's go. We'll be late." Cleo said as she walked to the entrance of the house.
"Come on Benja, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun." Draculaura said as she took me by the arm and led me to the entrance as Clawdeen and Frankie followed behind.
Maul. A mall where monsters always go after school because of their jobs. Cafeteria, Cinema, clothing stores, cell phone stores. If I had to compare it with the Metropolis shopping center. I'd say this place had it all.
"Very good Benja, you don't know this place so whatever you do, don't separate yourself from us, okay?" Frankie asked as she looked at me.
"Okay, don't worry Frankie." I said with a smile however at that moment Clawdeen would let out a shout of joy and we all turned to see what happened.
"Girls !!. They have 50% discounts on shoes !!. Come on !!." The werewolf yelled as she quickly made her way to the store. The girls at that time would be running at high speed leaving me behind.
"I guess, I'll be here. I think." I said as he shyly scratched my arm and began to see everything around me.
At that moment I started walking around the place until I saw a lot of monsters in one place and when I saw what was happening I saw a girl doing her best to take orders from customers.
She was a girl with pale blue skin, her hair was blonde but with blue details, she wore the clothes of a cafeteria employee. A green apron with a skull in the center. I saw that the girl was about to bring some cups of coffee to the table but suddenly she would fall due to carelessness causing her to drop the cups.
"My God, are you okay?" I asked worriedly as I helped her up.
"I'm fine, thanks. It's just that I have a lot of requests still, thanks for helping me." Said the girl as she showed me a smile before going to her workplace however I followed her.
"But what about your companions? You can't do this alone." I said as she took out a notebook and started jotting down the orders.
"I actually work alone. But I'm fine." Said the girl, however when I heard that I got serious and would go behind the bar and take an apron that was there and put it on.
"What are you doing?." The surprised girl asked. I simply tied my hair back before looking at the girl.
"You can't do this alone, I'll help you. And I'm not getting no for an answer." I said as he looked at the girl showing that she was serious.
"Have you done this before?" The girl asked somewhat worried.
"I never worked in a cafeteria, but I always help a friend of mine in a refrigerator and from time to time we sell coffee and a lot of smoothies." I said as he looked at the girl.
"Okay then. Let's do it." The girl said as she started taking the orders and I started preparing the coffees.
The minutes passed, the monsters received their requests and slowly the number of monsters outside began to slowly decrease. The girl wrote the orders and gave them to me, I simply prepared the coffees or shakes so that she could take them to the tables but I also took some orders to the tables to make this faster.
"Hello lagoona." When I looked forward I saw that it was a boy who had a strange fish tank on his head, but then I realized that he also had the skin tone of navy blue, and on his head there were gills and fins like those of a fish. The boy wore a black coat with dark pink details and the sleeves had waves, he wore comfortable pants and the same color as the coat.
"Oh Gil. How are you?" The girl now called lagoona asked.
"I'm fine, I just came to see how you were. Who is he?" Gil asked as he looked at me.
"My name is Benjamin Escudero, it's nice to meet you." I said as I stretched out my hand. Gil, seeing this, accepted the gesture with a smile.
"This is Gil, he is my boyfriend." Lagoona said with a smile.
"I understand, it's nice to meet you Gil." I said with a smile.
"Thank you, it is also nice to meet you brother." Lagoona's boyfriend said with a smile. At that moment, Lagoona would see that two boys had arrived and she would go to attend to them, leaving me alone with Gil.
"Hey buddy. I know humans like you well, you better not try to flirt with Lagoona." Gil said as he looked at me seriously.
"I can assure you that I'm not going to do that anyway. I'm just helping Lagoona, she had a lot of clients and I just decided to give her a hand. I'm not interested in her." I said as I looked Gil in the eyes.
"Okay, I'll take your word for it. Could you pour me a cup of coffee please?" Gil asked as he sat down on a chair.
"I notice something annoying you, is something wrong?" I asked while I served you the cup of coffee.
"Sorry, it's just that. I had a chat with my parents, they don't want me to be with Lagoona." Gil said as he looked at the coffee mug. When I heard that I couldn't help but be surprised, maybe I didn't know Lagoona and Gil very well, but I could feel that they had a very good connection.
"She is a saltwater girl and I am a freshwater boy, for years my family continues with this stupid tradition that I should just leave her for that." Lagoona's boyfriend said as he took his cup of coffee.
"That's very silly, they shouldn't misjudge Lagoona just for being a saltwater girl. I may not have spent much time with her, but what I do know is that she is a very kind and good girl." I said while preparing another order.
"I know. I try to tell them that many times, but they never listen to me. They just want me to follow a ridiculous tradition that my family followed for years, they never understand me." Gil said as he sighed something annoyed.
"Don't listen to them. They can't tell who you're going to be with, they don't have the right to judge Lagoona just for being a saltwater girl. You can choose what you want, it's your life and you can make the decisions you want. If you want to be with Lagoona, go for it. Besides, you two make a nice couple. I wouldn't want to see you two apart. " I said with a smile.
"Yes, you are right. Thank you friend." Lagoona's boyfriend said with a smile.
"You're welcome, I really like helping my friends." I said as Gil and I started talking until he left because he had things to do, so I just kept helping Lagoona.
Lagoona and I are cleaning the place now. It was closing time, we had sold a lot of coffees and smoothies.
"Thank you very much for helping me, I'm sure that without your help this place would be a disaster." Lagoona said as she washes the cups.
"No problem, Lagoona. I like to help." I said as she cleared the tables.
"Benja !." Lagoona and I turned around and saw Draculaura and the girls entering the place.
"Benja, where were you? We told you not to go anywhere." The vampire girl said somewhat annoyed.
"Benja, you didn't tell me that you and my friends know each other." Lagoona said as she came over to greet the girls.
"Sorry girls, I was walking around the place and I came across a lot of monsters here. So I decided to stay and help." I said shyly.
"By the way girls, did you find out what happened? It is said that a strange boy stopped a fire with a water snake, they even said he was able to kick the air." Lagoona said as she showed us a news story on a gossip blog from her cell phone.
"Ghostly blog. Newsflash: Element Wizard, the hero of New Salem. During a Monday night, a strange teenager dressed in strange clothes made an appearance, initially believed to be a crazy teenager when he tried to help with a fire.
When he suddenly decided to demonstrate what he is capable of, performing feats that would be impossible to perform. He told us that whatever happens, he will always protect us. Now everyone is wondering. Who is the elemental wizard and where did he come from?"
After reading I saw that there were photos of me and a video where I showed how I use my water and air element.
"When I read this at first I didn't believe it, but after seeing this. Now I want to know who that elemental wizard is." The saltwater girl said with a smile.
"Hopefully one day he will reveal his secret identity, but you already know the main rule of heroes. They must never reveal their secret identities." Clawdeen said with a smile.
"That's true. By the way come on Benja, we have to find some new clothes for you." Draculaura said as he looked at me.
"Do you already know each other?" The saltwater girl asked curiously.
"Yeah, um, he is. Frankie's distant cousin." Draculaura said without thinking twice. That statement gave Cleo and Clawdeen a drop of anime-style sweat as Frankie and I turned pale.
"Distant cousin?." Lagoona asked more curiously.
"Yes! I'm Frankie's distant cousin, Benjamin Escudero Stein. That's my full name." I said with a forced smile just like Frankie.
"Oh guys, check the time. We have to go now." Clawdeen said before taking Frankie and me by the arm before quickly running from the place just like Cleo and Draculaura.
Lagoona looked at this in confusion, but she just shrugged thinking that maybe we had to go get something so she decided to go wash the last remaining cups before she had to leave.
The girls and I are now in a clothing store, I just stood with my arms outstretched while the girls threw clothes at me which I should try on. At first they were just ordinary clothes, but then I started to worry when the girls started giving me more and more clothes.
"Girls, don't you think this is too much?" I ask while in my arms there was a huge mountain of clothes.
"Don't worry Benja, we are choosing the clothes you will wear while you are here." Draculaura said with a smile.
"But girls it's a lot of clothes. I can't afford it." I said very surprised.
"Don't worry, I have a credit card and I can pay for everything." Cleo said with a smile.
"But Cleo." I try to say something but at that point Clawdeen would take me to a fitting room.
"Come on Benja, it's time to see how it looks on you. The girls and I will find you some shoes." Clawdeen said with a smile.
"Girls please." When I came out of the changing room I realized that the girls had left which made me sign and went back inside to try on the clothes.
One by one, I tried on the clothes the girls had given me. I had to admit that the clothes were very comfortable, also the wide variety of designs and color combinations could tell that the clothes were created by multiple designers from all over the world.
I left the clothes on a chair and I was waiting for the girls to come back, however I noticed that there was a music store in front.
"Well, maybe the girls won't be mad if I listen to some music." I said as I left the clothing store and entered the music store.
When I walked in I could see that the place had records by multiple singers, most of them monsters. I saw that there were headphones for listening to music so I decided to see what I could find.
I was looking for a few moments until I found a singer who caught my attention. She was a girl with black skin, her hair was an intense pink color, her eyes were the same color and she was wearing a very extravagant and very good dress, what stood out the most about this girl was that she had ears and a cat's tail. which made it clear to me that she was a feline monster.
"Catty Noir. It's a nice name for an artist, well. I think you might listen a little." I said as he put the headphones on me and played the song.
When the song started I felt that time was slowing down, this girl's voice was incredible. This girl had a very incredible talent for music, the lyrics of the song, the rhythm of it. It was all completely amazing, I didn't realize it until the song was finished causing me to wake up.
"Wow." Was all I said as I put down the headphones. I was wondering if Cleo could buy me an album by this girl.
At that moment I saw that the girls had returned so I decided to leave the headphones and go to where they were.
"He left again." Draculaura said when she saw that I was gone.
"Girls !!. Here !!." I said as I quickly approached where they were.
"Benja, where were you?" Frankie asked as she looked at me.
"Sorry girls, I was just listening to some music." I said shyly.
"Well, never mind. I hope you tried the clothes we gave you." Cleo said as she looked at me.
"Yes, I did. Everything is in that chair." I said while pointing to the chair full of clothes.
"Very good, by the way. We already found some shoes for you. Let's see how they fit." Clawdeen said as she, the girls, and I walked into the clothing store.
The girls and I had left the store with a large number of shopping bags. The girls were chatting about something while I carried the clothes and shoes.
The day is over. The girls and I were going back while I, on the other hand, had a large number of shopping bags on my back. Bags, shoes, new clothes, makeup, accessories. The truth is that I am very surprised with Cleo's credit card.
"Girls, what are we going to do? Draculaura's father will be back very soon. I don't think he would like to know that Draculaura invited someone he doesn't know to stay at his house." Frankie said as she looks at her friends.
"Not to mention I highly doubt that Benja likes the idea of staying at Draculaura's house all day." Clawdeen added on the other hand, Draculaura seemed very calm and with a smile.
"Don't worry girls. Maybe I can read more about my elemental magic and also train more." I said with some difficulty. The girls' shopping bags were even heavier than the stones I had to carry in my training with Diana.
"Don't worry Benja. I already solved it." The vampire girl said with a smile. At that moment we all entered the house and when I put down the shopping bags, Draculaura would show me a brochure showing a school.
"You can sign up for Monster High !." The vampire girl yelled with a huge smile. That surprised us all a lot but especially me.
Monster High. The most recognized school of monsters in the world, for years the school was created so that all the monsters in the world can be together and be able to coexist peacefully. According to what Frankie told me, for a long time.
The school director looked for monsters and humans to live together, but unfortunately it was never achieved due to the rivalries between monsters and humans, but it is said that the director always has the door open to any human who wants to enter and show that monsters and humans. They can get along.
"What !?. Draculaura, you must be kidding." Cleo said very surprised.
"Of course not, actually. I just got off the phone with the director, she says she's excited to meet Benja." Said the vampire girl.
"But what did you tell him?" I ask surprised.
"Well, I told him that you were a distant cousin of my family. I said that you moved to New Salem to start a new life and that you will live with me, obviously I told him that also your parents are people who work all the time so we won't have to worry about nothing. " Draculaura said with a smile but that made us all go pale as ghosts.
"Draculaura, we told Lagoona that I am Frankie's cousin. When she finds out about that she will become suspicious of me and will want to know the truth." I said while looking at the vampire girl. Draculaura went pale before crying out realizing her mistake.
"AH !!. Sorry !! Sorry !!." Draculaura yelled as she waved her arms comically.
"Well, there is nothing we can do anymore. Tomorrow we have to go to class and Benja will have to go with us." Cleo said annoyed.
"That explains why among our things are these school supplies, this backpack, and. An ICoffin ?." Clawdeen asked confused as she held up the coffin-shaped cell phone.
"Yes, I bought that for Benja. Since he doesn't have a cell phone, I thought it would be a gift for our friendship." Frankie said as she shyly scratched her arm. She and the girls needed a way to communicate with me, so she decided to sneakily buy an ICoffin for me.
"Thanks Frankie, I promise I'll make it up to you for this." She said as he gave the girl a hug. That caused Frankie to have a little pink tint on her cheeks as she accepted the hug.
"Well. We buy things for you too, then. I think you have to do something for us too." Cleo said with a smile.
"It seems fair to me, what do you want me to do?" I ask with a smile.
"I'd like to see another magic trick, please." Clawdeen said with a smile.
"Okay, I think I can do something." I said as the girls and I were dating. At that moment I closed my eyes and began to channel magic into my water element. Slowly my hair started to change color and it was now a navy blue color, when I opened my eyes they were now the same color.
"Water Element: Torrent Shot !." I said as a huge amount of water shot up into the sky from my mouth.
"Wow, that's amazing." Draculaura said in surprise.
"Thanks. That's my new attack, I read about it on Tuesday. I can fire a jet of water so powerful that it is capable of knocking back a huge number of thieves." I said with a small smile.
"That is incredible!." Clawdeen said with a huge smile.
"Well, it's my turn. Could you fix something to eat? Today was a tiring day." Cleo said as she looked at me.
The night came, I was cooking while the girls watched the stars in the backyard. Today had been a very exhausting day for the girls, now they were curious to know what he would prepare for them tomorrow when all their friends ask them why a human is with them.
"I think Benja and Clawd are going to get along really well, what do you guys think?" Draculaura asked while she didn't take her eyes off the sky.
"I guess so, I just hope Heat and Manny don't start bothering Benja." Frankie said somewhat concerned.
"Girls, Benja has magical powers. He can take care of himself." Cleo said without much importance.
"Cleo, I think you forgot another rule of heroes. They should never use their magical powers in public, besides. I think if Benja used her magic everyone could describe her secret identity." Clawdeen said as she looked at the Egyptian girl.
An enormous silence was present in the environment. The girls still couldn't believe any of this. They had met a hero who came from another dimension and that now, that same person was going to go to the same school as them. Undoubtedly now they were wondering, what will happen now.
After dinner. Frankie, Cleo and Clawdeen had to go home leaving me alone with Draculaura. Now the vampire girl and I were in our room. I'd be in a sleeping bag and Draculaura in her bed. But for the moment we would be talking a little.
"Are you excited? Tomorrow you'll go to school with me, meet my friends, meet Clawd. I'm pretty sure you and him will be good friends." Draculaura said with a smile but she noticed that I was at the window looking at the moon.
"Benja, is everything okay?" The vampire girl asked somewhat worried.
"Yes, I'm fine Draculaura. It's just that, I miss my friends a lot. I just hope they are fine." I said something sad.
"Benja. You told me that your friends are very strong and that they can practically deal with anything. I'm sure they are fine and they must be missing you too. Come on, we have classes tomorrow and you should rest." Draculaura said as she lay down on her bed.
"Yes, you are right. Thank you Draculaura." I said smiling as I lay down on my bed as well.
"Rest Benja." The vampire girl said as she turned off the light.
"Rest, Draculaura." I said before closing my eyes.
Somewhere else. There was a girl with tanned skin, her hair was a bright blue but two deer ears were sticking out of her hair, the girl was wearing comfortable clothes and she was sleeping peacefully when suddenly she woke up.
The girl would leave her room and go to the kitchen to drink some water, but when she got to the kitchen she saw that a strange mist would appear while her eyes glowed green. When the girl looked in front of her she saw a deer, the animal was staring at the girl while her eyes shone the same green color.
The girl was about to approach the deer but the animal would go out to the backyard of the girl's house.
"Hey, wait." The girl tried to catch up with the deer but when she left the whole place turned completely different. Instead of being in her garden, she was in a classroom while other monsters were around her, but what confused the girl was that there was someone else next to her. But when she tried to see who she was, everything would return to normal.
"A vision. It is related to my school but who was that boy who was with me? He seemed, human?" She wondered the girl before entering her house to go back to rest.
She was sure of what she saw for years, her family for generations had learned to trust her visions. This vision for her was the most unusual, but also a vision that caught her attention. The only question for her was. What will the beginning of this school year look like?
So far the new chapter for today. I hope you liked it and I also hope you are enjoying the story so far. I will try to upload a new chapter soon as soon as possible, to make up for lost time. So I will do my best to keep that promise.
I hope everyone has a good day, a good afternoon, or a good night. See you later. Goodbye dattebayo.
