It was a quiet day at Monster High, I was in a small blacksmith shop at the school. I was very surprised when Rochelle told me this school had a blacksmith shop, she told me that normally students come to repair some things like locker doors or chairs.
I was still making a sword, I usually do not do this since my elements give me but Diana had taught me before how to make my own weapon, she had taught me the basics to create a sword. The reason why this was doing this was because our teacher was sick and the hallways were clear so Rochelle and I take a break.
"Very well, I think it looks good." I said smiling as I saw the sword. When I look at the weapon, I could not help but remember Diana with his sword in our workouts.
At that moment I look at all sides to make sure there was nothing before closing my eyes and concentrating. When I opened them, I began to make movements with the sword carefully to avoid breaking something, I was not making exaggerated movements. They were only simple movement of attack before stopping myself in a defensive position.
"Awesome, you have a good control of the sword." When I turned I saw two girls.
The first girl was a skeleton, the girl had black and orange hair and wore very flashy clothes with multiple colors.
The second girl had orange skin, her hair was green and black but what I could tell was that she had a tail.
"Oh Zeus, umm I thought I was alone." I said nervously as I quickly put the sword down on a table.
"I am very sorry to have bothered you, it is that my friend left her bag here." The skeleton girl said with a smile.
"Your sword technique is different from what I've seen before, you have a very unique way of using it. Where did you learn that from?" the other girl asked curiously.
"Sorry for not introducing ourselves, my name is Skelita Calaveras and this is Jinafire Long." Skelita said as she introduced herself and her friend.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is BenjamÃn Escudero." I said with a smile.
"The pleasure is ours, oh your shirt is torn." Skelita said as she pointed to my shoulder. When I looked I could see that there was a cut because while I was making the sword I must have torn my clothes a bit by accident.
"Oh wow, I guess I didn't notice." I said surprised.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of it." Skelita said as she took out a needle and thread from her bag. I watched with amazement and surprise as the skeleton girl repaired my shirt at great speed until it was as good as new. It was as if nothing had happened.
"Wow, that was amazing." I said in amazement as Jinafire walked over to where my sword was.
"Thank you, I have a lot of experience in this. I really like designing multiple dresses, you could say that I have a lot of skill in this." Skelita said with a smile.
"Interesting. The balance seems to be right, I don't notice any flaws, it has a good edge and it's not too heavy." Skelita and I turned around and I watched in surprise as Jinafire started to use my sword in a very surprising way before stopping and looking at me.
"Should I ask, where did you learn to make swords?" Jinafire asked curiously.
"My grandfather taught me, he told me that his father used to make knives before, since then my grandfather learned how to make knives but then he started making swords as it was much more challenging." I said with a slightly nervous smile.
At that moment we heard the noise of the bell signaling that classes were over.
"I guess classes are over." I said as I walked over to my table and put my stuff away while Skelita and Jinafire found her bag.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, I hope we can continue talking at another time." I said looking at the girls with a small smile.
"We also hope to see you again, see you later." Skelita said as she and Jinafire left. But the dragon girl turned around for a few moments to see me before leaving.
Today was Friday, it was the last day of school for the week. I'm ready to train tomorrow, even though Diana wasn't with me to help me she still had the training that she and I do memorized so there was no problem.
It was five in the morning, I was ready to train but before I left I had prepared Draculaura's breakfast and would leave it on her nightstand. The vampire girl already knew that she was going to train. When I left the house, I took a breath before starting to run a little.
I got to the park to start stretching a bit, there weren't many monsters in the streets. When I finished stretching I started running again but this time I was going to school, I had talked to Bloodgood and she gave me permission to use the courtyard as a training place, but I didn't notice two eyes that had seen me.
When I arrived the first thing I did was start doing push-ups, sit-ups and squats before I started throwing kicks and punches into the air.
"Well, we'd better get started." I said as I finished stretching. I was about to start meditating but at that moment.
"Benja?" When I turned around I saw Jinafire looking at me making me very surprised.
"Jinafire? What are you doing here?" I asked very surprised.
"That's what I'd like to know first." The girl said as she crossed her arms.
"Well, me. I always train on weekends, and I asked the director for permission to be able to train here. Why are you here?" I asked curiously.
"Well, I always get up really early in the morning. I was walking the streets looking for some inspiration for my designs and then I saw you stretching before I got here." Jinafire said looking at me.
"I see, but it's very early. What were you doing in the streets?" I asked looking at the girl.
"Since I was little where I lived my grandfather taught me martial arts, since then I always get up early." Jinfire said.
"Did your grandfather teach you martial arts?" I asked surprised.
"Yes, although it may not seem like it. He told me that one day I would have to protect myself on my own and that martial arts will serve me even though I like designing clothes more." The girl said as she looked at me.
"And tell me. What fighting style do you train?" Jinafire asked curiously.
"Well, it's not a fighting style that people know. I learned my way of fighting from a friend of mine." I said with a nervous smile.
"Can you show me?." Jinafire asked as she got into a combat pose something that surprised me.
"Jinafire, are you sure?" I asked surprised.
"I'm pretty sure, come on Benja." The girl said as she made a sign for me to attack.
At that moment I also got into a combat stance, the girl and I stared at each other before I attacked but Jinafire easily dodged my attack before pushing me and making me fall to the ground.
"Again." Jinafire said without letting her guard down.
I got back on my feet and kicked huge but she easily parried it before giving me a leg sweep knocking me down again.
"Again." Jinafire said with some seriousness as I got up.
At that moment I also became serious and started throwing blows but Jinafire dodged them without problems and some of them stopped them without difficulty, the girl saw a hole and would hit me in the stomach making me lose air.
"Your fighting style has many flaws. Your attacks even though they are effective and you throw the blows in the right places, you are very slow, your defense is low, when you were attacking me you exposed a hole and that is why I managed to attack you. " Jinafire said seriously as I stood up.
"Maybe that girl will teach you how to fight but this training even though it makes you strong, you lack flexibility." The girl said as she looked at me.
"I guess it's true, for a long time I always did the same routine." I said looking at Jinafire. It was true, even though Diana's training helped me a lot in improving my way of fighting, I still couldn't achieve the same flexibility that the Amazon warrior had.
"You have great potential, Benja. And you need to improve if you want to even hit me, I think I can help you improve." Jinafire said with a small smile.
"Are you serious? Will you help me?" I asked surprised.
"Yes, I'll help you. Come on, we have to start our training." The girl said as she and I left the school behind.
Jinafire and I were in the forest, the girl was wearing proper clothes for training and we had also brought a couple of buckets of water and some walking sticks but I got confused when I saw a barrel full of stones.
"Alright Benja, let's start your training." Jinafire said with some seriousness.
"Why the bucket with stones?" I asked curiously.
"Your first test will be to get on that log, you'll have to hold these buckets of water and you'll have to keep the water from spilling." Jinafire said as she handed me the buckets of water while I climbed onto the log.
"Umm, I don't understand. What can you help me with?" I asked confused but at that moment I saw that Jinafire would throw a stone at me making me dodge it.
"Why did you do that!?." I yelled very surprised but quickly had to move as the girl kept throwing stones.
Jinafire kept throwing stones until I lost concentration and she managed to hit my hand causing me to drop the bucket of water.
"We need to improve your dodging much more, even though you managed to dodge a lot of stones you still lost concentration." Jinafire said as she looked at me.
"Sorry." I said something tired.
"Don't apologize, just try to get better. Now let's go, our training is far from over." Jinafire said as the two of us left the place.
Now I was looking straight ahead and I saw that there were some small bamboo shoots and a lake.
"Your test will be this, if you want to improve your agility and balance you will have to jump one by one on those shoots until you reach the other end." The girl said as she pointed to the other side of the lake.
"But. Those bamboos look very thin, are you sure?" I ask with curiosity and surprise.
"I will teach." Jinafire said as he began to jump over the bamboos very easily until he reached the other end without any problem, leaving me surprised.
"Alright, now your turn!!" Jinafire yelled as I watched this nervously.
I only looked at this with concern before I started jumping one by one on the bamboos, at first it seemed fine but then I started to wobble until when I tried to jump on the other one I ended up falling into the water.
"Too bad. You let your nerves and insecurities get in the way, that can make things difficult. You must always keep your head centered and your thoughts must not take your way." Jinafire said as she helped me out of the water
"This is my first time doing training like this, Jinafire. It will take some time to get used to." I said while looking at the girl.
"You're right. Come on, this training is far from over." Jinafire said as she and I started walking.
The training was much more demanding than Diana's. To be honest, it was like a worthy training for an Amazon warrior like Queen Hippolyta but I could barely keep up with her.
Skelita was walking around the place, she had received a message from Jinafire and the girl couldn't help but want to know what she was doing. Suddenly the girl heard a fight and when she got closer she saw how Jinafire kicked me making me fall to the ground.
"Your punches are strong as is your stamina, but you have many weak points in your defense." Jinafire said but I would quickly move to do a leg sweep, however the girl dodged it with a jump before kicking me causing her to quickly block her.
Skelita watched in surprise as Jinafire and I had a fierce fight but saw that her friend had a clear advantage over me. I tried to strike but the girl dodged it easily before kicking me in the back of her making me fall.
Jinafire was about to speak but suddenly she saw me get up and go back to fighting stance, the girl would try to kick me but I quickly dodged before hitting her in the stomach making her gasp before kicking her causing her to fall.
Jinafire took the opportunity to take a staff and attack with a direct blow, when I saw that I quickly dodged it and saw that there was a wooden sword nearby and without thinking I would take it.
Jinafire and I stared at each other before launching into the attack. Skelita watched in amazement as the fight was very even and only the blows of our weapons colliding can be heard.
Jinafire and I were smiling as we were both struggling with everything, after a long time we were both feeling an adrenaline rush that we thought would be hard to feel again but right now. We were both having the time of our lives.
Suddenly Jinafire and I collided our weapons so hard that it made a strong wave of wind. We both stared at each other with exhaustion, however I fell to the ground due to exhaustion something that scared Skelita but she was confused when she heard me laugh.
"Hahaha, by Zeus. It's been a long time since I had fun like this before." I said smiling. Jinafire also smiled as she showed me her hand, I accepted the gesture and she would help me stand up
"You fought with honor. You didn't give up and you never dared to underestimate your opponent, that means this training is paying off." Jinafire said with a smile.
"Thank you Jinafire, I hope we can continue training tomorrow." I said smiling. That surprised the girl.
"Do you really want to continue training? I thought you were going to quit." Jinafire said surprised.
"I must admit that it was difficult, but still. This training fills me with happiness, reminds me a lot of my home. And this battle reminded me of my workouts with my friend." I said with a somewhat nostalgic smile.
"That girl must have been a very important person to you. If your decision is to continue training then I will respect your decision, we will continue training." Jinafire said with a smile but she was surprised when I gave her a hug causing her to blush a little due to her surprise but she accepted the gesture.
We both turned around and saw that Skelita was very surprised, the skeleton girl had her mouth open making us both laugh a little.
"I guess I forgot I told Skelita we were here." Jinafire said shyly.
"Hehehe, hello Skelita." I said shyly.
"I never thought about seeing something like this, seriously, that was amazing, Umm Benja, I think you are somewhat damaged." Skelite said, making me see my clothes. My sweatshirt was full of cuts due to the battle.
"Wow. Hehehe, I guess we had a pretty wild fight." I said shyly.
"Don't worry Benja, we'll take care of it." Jinafire said as I watched Skelita approach.
"Benja, please. Your sweatshirt." Skelita said while I paid attention and gave my sweatshirt to the girls.
I watched in amazement as Jinafire and Skelita were repairing my sweatshirt at high speed. Without mistakes, they did it in a very synchronized way until they ended up leaving the sweatshirt as good as new.
"Wow, I wish I could do that." I said astonished. To be honest, my hero outfit sometimes got a bit damaged and many times I used the items to repair it.
"If you want we can teach you. It may be much more difficult, but I'm sure with some practice you could do it." Skelita said with a smile.
"I'd love to." I said smiling.
"Very well, come on, we'll go home, we can start." Skelite said as we were the three of us.
For the rest of the day. Skelita and Jinaafire were showing me how you should make small repairs to small cuts in the clothes, at first I must admit that it was difficult to understand what to do but slowly progressing.
"I think I already have it". I said while I was mending an old shirt with Skelita.
"Very good Benja, keep it up." The skeleton girl said. On the other hand, Jinafire was looking out the window thinking about today's training.
"Oh Hades. It's already late, I have to go make dinner." I said as I put the needles on the table and got up.
"I hope we can continue tomorrow, Skelita. And Jinafire, thank you very much for the training. I hope we can continue tomorrow." I said with a smile looking at the girl.
"It will be an honor, we will see you tomorrow." The girl said as I left but Skelita noticed that Jinafire looked very serious.
"Something wrong?." Skelita asked curiously.
"While Benja and I were training I couldn't help but see that despite his mistakes he didn't seem to give up, he also showed an attitude almost like that of a warrior." Jinafire said something would be.
"Maybe he already had practice in this kind of training, come on. We have to have dinner, surely you are very tired after fighting with Benja." Skelita said as she walked into the kitchen leaving her best friend behind her.
After dinner, the girls had gone to rest. However Jinafire moved back and forth on her bed as she remembered what happened today though. Her dream was something impossible to describe.

When Jinafire opened her eyes she saw that she was in a different place, it was a city where monsters seemed to have fun with humans. Speaking of movies, eating ice cream, she even noticed some that were a couple. But her amazement increased when she saw Monster High but that wasn't the surprise, the surprise was that in addition to monsters they saw humans at the school.
"What's this?." Jinafire wondered to herself but suddenly she heard an explosion and when she turned around she noticed that on the soccer field there was a giant robot that was approaching the city but some vines stopped it.
"Don't worry Monster High students, we are here." Suddenly Jinafire noticed three people approaching, one of those people already knew him but the other two didn't.
The first girl was tan-skinned, wearing armor, carrying a sword and shield. The other person was a girl too, only she was wearing samurai-like armor and with a mask covering her face.
"Sister, it's not a safe place. Go to the school. We'll take care of this." One of the girls said as she looked at Jinafire.
"Wonder woman, katana. Keep that robot busy, keep it away from the city. I'll take this girl to a safe place." I said as I took Jinafire's hand before leading her to another place while the other girls went to attack the robot.
"Jinafire, we need your help. Put on your suit and grab your sword, we need your help." I said looking at the girl.
"What? Wait, what outfit are you talking about?" Jinafire asked confused.
Suddenly Jinafire felt something in her hands and saw that there was a Shaolin outfit but with the design of multiple dragons on the vestment, there was a dragon mask and a sword.
"I have to go help Diana and Tatsu, please, do not delay." I said worried before going flying leaving Jinafire surprised.
Diana, Tatsu and I started attacking the robot as best we could, however we had a hard time due to its weaponry. The girls and I quickly dodged an attack from the cannons.
"Where is Jinafire? We need your help." Tatsu said seriously.
"Sorry for the delay." When we turned around we saw Jinafire approaching with his hero outfit.
"Sister, I'm glad to see you're here." Diana said with a smile.
"Very well, now what should we do?" Jinafire asked curiously.
"The robot has great equipment, his energy cannons are our biggest problem. I can keep him immobilized and I will use my vines to retain his weapons, I need the three of you to destroy his cannons. That way we can attack without him being able to defend himself." I said seriously.
"Well thought, elemental mage. Come sisters, duty calls." Diana said before quickly running with Tatsu and Jinafire to the robot while I used the ivy element to catch the robot.
"Listen, we'll go for the cannons on the right shoulder, you take on the left." Tatsu said before quickly leaving with Diana for the other cannons while Jinafire went to the left shoulder cannons.
When Jinafire arrived, she quickly took her sword and with a simple movement she would be able to cut the cannons, something that surprised her a lot since she never thought that her sword had a great edge.
"Come on sister, we have to go back!!" Diana yelled causing Jinafire to quickly jump as did Tatsu and the Amazon warrior before rushing over to where I was standing.
"Very well elemental mage, it's your turn." Tatsu said with a smile.
I just nodded before starting to gather magic, Jinafire saw my hair start to change color to an electric blue but she also noticed an aura of fire covering me.
"Elemental Fusion: Great Dragon!!" I yelled before raising my hands causing the aura of fire to grow, but Jinafire saw the aura begin to take the form of a large dragon before charging at the robot causing my attack to pierce the robot with ease.
At that moment we heard applause and when we turned around we saw the whole school clapping and congratulating us on our victory.
"Good job girls, I'll see you in class." I said smiling before flying away.
Jinafire was moving in her bed until she heard the alarm clock causing her to move before turning it off.
"Ugh, what a strange dream." Jinafire said before getting up and going to the bathroom to take a shower.
"What was all that? That city, those girls, why was Monster High there?" Jinafire was very thoughtful since her dream had generated many questions in her.
When she went downstairs she heard some small talk and saw that I was there with Skelita preparing breakfast.
"Oh good morning Jinafire." I said with a smile as I served the last pancake on a plate before bringing it to the table.
"Benja? I didn't expect you to be here so early." Jinafire said surprised.
"Benja came looking for you, however you were sleeping. So we decided to have breakfast and resume our class." Skelita said with a smile.
"Oh I understand. I'm so sorry I kept you waiting Benja." Jinafire said as she sat down at the table.
"Don't worry, I hope you enjoy breakfast." I said smiling as he placed her pancakes in front of her.
Jinafire was very thoughtful. She was very curious about that dream that she had, she was surprised as this was a somewhat strange dream. A world where she was part of a team of heroes and above all one where monsters and humans were finally at peace. It would certainly be a difficult dream to overcome.
"And Jinafire, are you ready to train?" I asked curiously.
"Oh yes. I'm ready." The girl said with a small smile.
"Can I come with you? I don't have much to do and my homework is already done." Skelita asked curiously.
"Sure, no problem. Right Jinafire?" I ask curiously looking at the girl.
"Yeah, I guess that's fine." Jinafire said with a smile.
Jinafire was still curious as to what the dream was, however she put that thought aside to focus on training. For the first time, she was very excited to train. Years had passed since she had someone to train with, and now what the girl wanted was to know what she could be capable of and above all. Jinafire was curious to know how much she could advance in her training. It would be fun to find out.
