The kitsune and I were looking at each other. The fox looked at me seriously while I was a little worried since I didn't know what could happen.
"I'm finally in front of you, elemental mage. I've been watching you all this time, I never thought I'd find someone like you before. Please do me the honor and let me fight you." The kitsune said as the fox got into a combat stance causing me to watch this in amazement.
I was about to speak but I saw that the kitsune seemed to gather fire from its mouth before launching a fireball at me. When I saw that, I quickly launched a blast of water to destroy the fireball, however the kitsune rushed at high speed to where I was and would scratch my chest making me back up.
"Don't get complacent. I'm not like those villains you're up against. I want you to take this seriously." the kitsune said before attacking again causing me to quickly use my magic to increase my speed and dodge the attack.
"Fire Element: Dragon's Breath!!" I yelled earlier is shooting fire from my mouth but to my disbelief, I saw that the fire was no longer blue. It was now a shade of green.
"Very well. I see that my magic managed to enter your body from what I see." The kitsune said while I was on my knees.
"What's wrong with me? My magic. I feel like I'm suddenly very weak." I said with difficulty as I slowly stand up.
"It's normal. My magic is inside you now. Right now my power is mixing with your magic, normally a normal person wouldn't be able to withstand it. But my ancestors had connections before with elementals like you. That's why your magic now is affected." The kitsune said seriously while I got serious.
"Who are you?." I asked weakly as the kitsune looked away.
"I am. Your future disciple, master. Forgive me for this, but I needed to do this for our training to begin." The kitsune said seriously.
"Training? What are you talking about?" I asked tired. The kitsune was going to speak but at that moment the animal heard hurried footsteps.
"Benja! Are you alright!?" Frankie yelled as she quickly helped me up as well as Clawdeen.
"What did you do to my brother!?" Draculaura yelled angrily.
"I'm afraid I can't say. But don't worry about him. I can promise your brother will be fine. I just did what I needed to do." The kitsune said seriously but that made Clawdeen angry.
"You disgusting fucking fox. I'm going to tear off those ugly tails!!" Clawdeen yelled as his eyes sparkled.
The moon was at its highest point. The brightness of the moon at that moment was reflected in a necklace that Clawdeen had and suddenly. The girl had turned into a wolf which surprised her friends and me a lot.
"This fight is incensable. You have no chance of defeating me." The kitsune said but Clawdeen would attack with his claws. However, the kitsune dodged the attacks very easily.
"Come on girls. We have to help Clawdeen !!." Draculara shouted as she became a bat and would quickly help her friend fight.
Draculara began to shout which annoyed the kitsune, Clawdeen took advantage of the carelessness to attack and hit the kitsune a heavy blow causing the animal to back down.
"Haha, what do you think of that fox?" Draculaura asked but the girl quickly had to move when suddenly the kitsune spit was from her tails generating that Clawdeen also had to dodge the attacks.
"Cleo, stay with Benja. I have to help Draculaura and Clawdeen." Frankie said as the girl quickly ran to where the kitsune was.
Clawdeen quickly attacked and would try to attack using her claws but the girl received a strong blow due to a ball of fire making Clawdeen back, Draculaura was going to scream to stun the kitsune but the vampire girl was knocked down by the animal's tails. The kitsune was going to speak but suddenly the animal was electrocuted by a surprise attack from Frankie.
"Enough!! This is between me and my master, don't bother me!!" the kitsune yelled as his tails were covered in fire before attacking with a huge blast of fire causing the girls to take cover.
"Girls!! I have to help you!!" I yelled as I tried to go help my friends, but Cleo stopped me.
"I'm going to help them. You can't use your magic." Cleo said as the girl left me in a tree to rest.
The kitsune was going to continue attacking but at that moment some bandages were wrapped around the animal's mouth causing the kitsune to not be able to continue attacking. Clawdeen took advantage of that to attack and deliver a strong charge that caused the kitsune to crash into a tree.
"Haha, I knew that among all my amulets I would find something useful." Cleo said proudly.
The girls smiled believing that everything is over but to everyone's surprise they saw that the kitsune slowly began to get up. The animal clearly looked furious as the fire color of its tails suddenly became even more intense.
"Umm, how about we try to talk about this?" Frankie asked nervously as she and the other girls backed away.
The kitsune at that time would release a large blast of fire causing the girls to run, but the fire would end up burning many trees and slowly starting a fire. Draculaura started to fly but suddenly a branch would fall on the girl causing Draculaura to fall to the ground.
"Draculaura!!" The girls screamed very scared. Clawdeen tried to save her best friend, but the fire prevented the wolf girl from trying to take a step.
I looked at Draculaura for a moment seeing that the vampire girl passed out due to the smoke. I slowly felt my heart race, my eyes started to glow and suddenly turned amber, I slowly started to get up getting on all fours feeling my body start to burn. Not by fire, but by my magic.
The girls saw a white glow just like the kitsune and saw that the glow was from me. Slowly my body began to change in an amazing way. My clothes began to tear, my hands and feet turned into legs, nine tails began to come out of me and I slowly began to grow until I reached the tops of the trees.
When the glow left my body the girls and the kitsune were very surprised. My body was covered in bright white fur with red accents, my eyes were amber, my tails were the same color with the tips ending in a red color.
"Benja?" Frankie asked in surprise. However, I let out a loud howl as my coat glowed. My tails would start to glow and suddenly the tips changed from a navy blue color.
Suddenly the girls saw how the sky darkened and suddenly everything started to rain causing the water to begin to put out the fire, I looked at the fire before using my magic and causing my mouth to release a soft gust of air that would put out the remaining fire.
The girls seeing this began to celebrate but they saw that I slowly approached where Draculaura was and would remove the branch from her. I stared at the vampire girl for a moment before closing my eyes as a green glow covered my body and my tails changed color to mint green.
"Look!" Cleo said and suddenly the girls saw that Draculaura would be surrounded by plants. The plants would begin to release a gas that would cause Draculaura's wounds to slowly begin to close.
"Draculaura…" I said looking at the vampire girl before slowly laying down on the ground due to exhaustion.
The girls saw that I began to glow and slowly returned to my normal form. Frankie and Clawdeen came over quickly but when the girls saw me their faces turned red before they covered their noses due to a nose bleed. My clothes had almost completely ripped, it was lucky my underwear hadn't ripped.
"Ugh, perfect." Cleo said as she looked away. The girl then saw that Draculaura slowly started to wake up causing the Nile girl to quickly run to help her friend.
"Ugh, what happened? What hit me?" Draculaura asked a little dizzy but when the vampire girl saw me on the ground unconscious she quickly ran to see if I was alright.
"Benja? Benja please talk to me, are you alright!?" The vampire girl yelled with concern.
"Calm down Draculaura. Benja is passed out, I think it's because of his magic consumption when he turned into a giant fox." Cleo said making the vampire girl look at her friend.
"A giant fox?" Draculaura asked confused.
"Actually, Cleo. Benja became a kitsune. A nine-tailed fox from Asian culture." Frankie said as the girl recovered from her nose bleed just like Clawdeen.
"That's a good question and where is that fucking fox? I'm going to beat him up." Clawdeen said angrily. The girls looked around, but there was no sign of the kitsune anywhere.
"He must have escaped. It will be better to take Benja to Monster High, I'm sure Ghoulia will be able to explain to us what happened to him." Cleo said as she looked at her friends.
"I'm going to get the car. Clawdeen, Frankie help Benja up." Draculaura said as she ran off to find her car. The girls looked at me with a huge blush before I got up as best I could but it was kind of hard.
"Now I understand why Benja is heavy. His muscles are just as hard as rocks." Frankie said as she helped me up, but Clawdeen was very quiet due to the wolf girl having a huge blush on her cheeks.
Fortunately. Draculaura arrived quickly with the car so the girls were able to get me into the car before we left. But they didn't realize that the kitsune was watching everything from a tree.
"Benja. I'm so sorry. I just hope you can handle your transformation." The kitsune said with concern before disappearing.
The girls and I are now at Monster High. Clawdeen decided to make some clothes for me while Ghoulia used her computer as well as other things to see what I had.
"Ghoulia. Have you found anything in Benja yet?" Frankie asked making the girl speak in her zombie language.
"It stands to reason. Ghoulia is a science girl. Magic is a bit more complicated." Draculaura said but the zombie girl saw something that surprised her. That got a lot of attention from my friends.
"Ghoulia, did you find anything?" Frankie asked curiously. The zombie girl continued to investigate before speaking and scanning my body.
"Wait. Are you saying the kitsune did something to him with Benja's magic?" Cleo asked causing the ghoulia to just give a nod and continue typing until the scan of my body finished. The girl would quickly use her abilities to scan a program on her computer.
The girls watched in shock as Ghoulia was working hard and didn't seem to want to stop. The zombie girl broke into a sweat before finishing. After that the girls saw that ghoulia approached a table and took some results drawing everyone's attention.
"Ghoulia? What's up?" Draculaura asked seeing that the zombie girl was very quiet. Ghoulia seemed to have been petrified.
The vampire girl shyly took the results and what she saw left the girl very shocked.
"No, no, no. This is not good. Not good at all!!" Draculaura yelled in shock making the girls freak out.
"What's up, Draculaura!? What's wrong with Benja!?" Frankie yelled worriedly.
"No, it's impossible. This must be wrong." Frankie said before taking the results and looking at them before dropping the results due to the impact.
"Ghoulia, how is this possible?" Clawdeen asked making the zombie girl go back to her computer before explaining what happened while she was analyzing my body.
"Ghoulia says that when that kitsune attacked Benja, some of that fox's magic must have gotten into him. However, doing so would only cause Benja to have secondary effects on his magic. But it seems that when the kitsune attacked, some of his genes were able to combine with his magic and that is causing Benja to change." Frankie said but that caused the girls to break out in an anime-style sweat.
"In short. When that kitsune attacked Benja with his magic, some of that magic got into him and now they're merging." The Stein girl said with a shy smile as she got carried away with the explanation.
"Fine. But now, what will happen to Benja?" Draculaura asked with concern. Ghoulia would then speak again while the zombie girl was still on her computer.
"Ghoulia says that the magic of Benja and that of that kitsune would merge. For a strange reason, the magic of that fox seems to be linked to the magic of Benja. However, as long as the fusion is completed. Benja will have changes in his body." Frankie said calling everyone's attention.
"Something similar to the transformation of a werewolf?." Clawdeen asked making Ghoulia speak.
"Kitsunes are different from werewolves. Benja won't turn into one." Frankie said as the girl looks at the werewolf.
"Good. This is just perfect. In case you already forgot. Benja has dinner with my sister tomorrow. He can't go as a kitsune, what is Nefera going to say?" Cleo asked seriously even in the background. The girl was very nervous.
"Can't we just tell Nefera that Benja won't be able to go?" Draculaura asked a little worried.
"We can't. If we tell Nefera that Benja isn't going to dinner tomorrow we're all screwed. She'll tell my father about the party and reveal Benja's identity as well." Cleo said angrily. That bothered the girls a lot.
"Tell Nefera to forget about that dinner because I swear I'm going to kick her big fat ass." Clawdeen said angrily until the girls heard moans and saw that I slowly started to wake up.
"Ugh. What happened to me?" I said something dizzy. However at that moment Draculaura hugged me tightly causing me to feel my spine almost break. The vampire girl had the same strength as Diana.
"Benja, so glad to see you're awake!! I thought we'd have to wait until tomorrow for you to wake up." Draculaura said very relieved and with a smile.
"What happened? I feel like my head hurts a lot." I said while looking at the vampire girl but when I saw that I was almost naked I quickly covered myself while my face slowly turned red.
"What happened to my clothes!?" I yelled very embarrassed while the girls looked at each other with some nervousness.
"Benja, um. I don't know how to tell you but. Do you remember anything that happened in your fight with that kitsune?" Frankie asked curiously.
"I only remember that when that kitsune attacked me I felt my magic seemed affected, when I tried to attack I felt my magic suddenly run out like the first days I woke up my powers. But. When I saw Draculaura in the fire. I felt that my body was on fire as if my magic was increasing. But I can't remember what happened next." I said as he touched my forehead.
Hearing that, Ghoulia touched her chin in thought before looking at me and speaking using her translator.
"That's interesting. Normally monsters remember when they transform. However, since you're human you might forget since it's your first time transforming." Ghoulia said making me confused.
"Transform? But, I'm not a monster." I said looking at the zombie girl but all the girls got nervous which confused me.
"Emm, Benja. Don't be scared but, I think you have something in your hair." Frankie said a little nervous which confuses me.
"What's happening?." I asked confused. However at that moment Draculaura showed me a mirror causing me to freeze.
"But what." I looked at my reflection and saw something that shocked me. My human ears were gone. Now two white kitsune ears were sticking out of my hair which completely shocked me.
"But how!? What is happening to me!?" I yelled very surprised but I covered my ears due to a strong headache. That made Ghoulia look at me and speak.
"You better watch out Benja. Your new ears are very sensitive, kitsunes have a keen sense of hearing that can rival werewolves." Ghoulia said making me look at the zombie girl in fear.
"Girls. What's wrong with me? What's going on?" I asked nervously causing Frankie to slowly walk up to me with the results.
"Benja. Ghoulia analyzed your body, and. We all think you're turning into a monster." Frankie said making me very surprised.
"But. How is it possible?" I asked nervously making the Stein girl take my hand to relax me.
"Benja, don't you feel like your magic is different now?" Clawdeen asked curiously.
"Yes. I feel like my magic increased a bit. But also, it's like it's different now." I said looking at my hands. I closed my eyes to focus my magic until I felt fire. When I opened my hands, the girls saw that there was blue fire on my hands but that didn't surprise the girls. My friends were seeing little green fireballs around me.
When I saw the green fireballs I was very surprised before I made my fire disappear.
"Now, What am I going to do?." I asked concerned making Ghoulia come closer to me.
"You'd better go to sleep. We'll talk about this tomorrow morning, I'll have to do some more research. Until then, I want you to be very careful." The zombie girl said as she looked at me.
I slowly got up but Frankie quickly stopped me when I almost fell. But I quickly looked away due to embarrassment causing the monster girl to do the same due to embarrassment.
"Hey Benja." I turned around and saw Clawdeen approach me a bit shyly while the girl was wearing a kimono. The kimono was white with a design of wolf claw marks on some parts.
"When you transformed. Your clothes were completely torn, I don't want you to get sick so I made this for you." Clawdeen said as the girl gave me the kimono making me smile with a small blush.
"Thank you Clawdeen. That's very sweet of you." I said with a smile while putting on my kimono. I had to admit that it was very comfortable and soft.
Frankie looked at this strangely. The monster girl knew that her friend was just being nice, but when she saw everything she felt something strange in her heart. The girl didn't understand what it was, but she decided to ignore it even though Frankie wanted to know what it really was.
"Come on friend. Tomorrow we have classes and we will have to see what will happen with Benja and Nefera tomorrow." Cleo said somewhat annoyed for mentioning her sister before leaving.
Slowly we all left, leaving Ghoulia behind. The zombie girl walked to the library before returning to where we were with a stack of books before starting to investigate. The zombie girl had a lot to learn about magic and legends.
Frankie walked slowly into her house while everything was dark. The girl glanced at the clock in the living room before she gulped as she noted that her bedtime had passed. Frankie slowly walked but suddenly the lights came on showing Viveka and Viktor in front of her.
"Hello mom hello dad." Frankie said shyly due to the serious look of her parents.
"Frankie Stein. Do you know what time it is? Do you think this is time to get home?" Viveka asked seriously making the monster girl gulp in fear.
"I'm so sorry mom. It's just that the girls and I had so much fun at the concert and we lost track of time." Frankie said with a shy smile because the look would be from her mother.
"Why didn't you answer your mother's calls? We were about to call the police." Viktor said seriously.
"I'm sorry dad, the music was too loud and I couldn't hear the calls." Frankie said making her parents look at each other before looking back at the girl.
"Okay, Frankie. We'll let you slide this time. But if you do anything like this again, you'll be grounded." Viveka said making Frankie smile and hug her parents.
"Thank you, thank you, you are the best." Frankie said with a huge smile.
"Now go to sleep, daughter. It's already very late and you have to go to school." Viktor said as he looks at his daughter.
Frankie went to her room as did her parents. When the girl got to her room she opened a window before seeing that I was in her back garden.
"Alright Benja, come in." Frankie said making me jump into the girl's room with ease.
"Frankie. Can I ask something?" I ask looking at the girl making her look at me.
"Do you think girls still love me. Even though I'll be a Kitsune now?" I asked looking at the girl. That question made her feel a sharp prick in her heart.
"Benja. I'm pretty sure they will still talk to you even though you become a kitsune. They fell in love with you because of your way of being, your kindness, your shyness, your cute smile, your noble heart, ah. You wonderful way to be and how sweet you are." Frankie said dreamily making us both very red with embarrassment as the girl looked away as electricity shot out of her neck in embarrassment.
"T-Thanks Frankie, t-that's really nice." I said nervously while looking away while the girl just laughed out of shyness.
"It will be better to go to sleep. Tomorrow we have many things to do." Frankie said she was lying on her bed but when she saw that I was looking for a place to sleep she made Frankie think of something fast.
"Hey, Benja. If you want, you can sleep with me in my bed. You can use the sleeping bag as a mattress." Frankie said but also the girl blushed a lot at the idea of sleeping with me. That also made me blush a lot.
"Are you sure, Frankie? And if your father finds out about us?" I asked sheepishly. I didn't want to fight my friend's father.
"Don't worry Benja, dad is a heavy sleeper and never wakes up unless my mom does." Frankie said with a smile.
"Okay. Umm, I guess it'll be fine." I said sheepishly as the girl helps me find the sleeping bag.
After looking for the sleeping bag, Frankie and I were very embarrassed as we were both in the same bed. We were both very flushed as we tried to look away due to embarrassment.
"Rest, Frankie." I said shyly while looking away.
"Rest, Benja." The girl said as she looked away as well.
When the rays of the sun slowly appeared in the room, Frankie was the first to wake up but the girl turned very red seeing that I was hugging the girl while still asleep which caused Frankie to get very nervous.
"Diana…I love you…" I said sleepily causing Frankie to feel a deep pang in her heart as the girl's expression changed to a sad one.
'Benja must miss his friends a lot. But. What if he can't come back?' When the girl thought of that she quickly stood up while she thoughtfully touched her chin.
"No, no, no. Frankie that's too bad, you can't think like that. Benja is going to make it back to his house, but. Waps technology is much more advanced than ours." Frankie said seriously before looking at her cell phone and texting Ghoulia.
"I just hope Ghoulia can answer this." Said the girl but suddenly she noticed something strange behind me. It was something huge and seemed fluffy.
The girl slowly approached to see what it was and out of curiosity she would touch the strange thing only to see how eight others appeared showing nine tails. Not only that, but she saw that I slowly started to wake up.
"Oh. Good morning Frankie, mmm." I slowly got up but strangely I started to stagger making the girl had to catch me.
"Ugh, I feel weird. Like I suddenly have an extra weight on me." I said as I start to stretch but that caused my kitsune tails to stretch as well before relaxing showing that my tails were even bigger than me.
"Benja. You might want to look in a mirror." Frankie said making me confused. But when I saw myself in the mirror my eyes widened because now I had nine kitsune tails.
"Impossible. I really just turned into a monster!?" I yelled in surprise but suddenly my ears perked up when I felt footsteps approaching us at high speed which made me jump and land on one of Frankie's furniture.
"Frankie, dear. Is everything okay?" Suddenly the door was opened by Viktor making the monster girl worry while I was nervous since I don't want to be seen.
"I'm fine dad, don't worry. Why do you ask?" Frankie asked as the girl feigned confusion.
"I heard a boy here. And you know the rules." Viktor said seriously making Frankie just sigh.
"I know, I know. No boys until I'm older." Frankie said a little annoyed and with a small pout making her father laugh.
"I'm glad you remember. Oh and one more thing." At that moment Viktor seemed to prepare himself making Frankie only flustered while I looked around curiously.
"Its alive!!." Viktor yelled as the monster struck a dramatic pose as lightning struck like in a horror movie.
Frankie turned red with embarrassment as she pinched her nose in annoyance. The girl herself loved her father very much, but the way Viktor always said "Good morning" to her. She made the girl want to hide out of shame.
"Alright darling, take a bath and go have breakfast. A great day awaits you today." Viktor said before leaving causing me to get down from the furniture and look at the girl.
"What happened to me? I never thought I could feel his footsteps let alone hear him from far away." I said surprised as I look at my ears and body to see if I have another change.
"It must be your senses. Now that you're a kitsune your senses must have gone through an altered stage which made them more efficient now. Your new fox ears can hear everything more clearly, and what happened was that you now have a sense that warns you of danger." Frankie said causing me to look at this in surprise.
"Amazing. I think my nose was improved too. I can smell toast with jam and orange juice." I said as I look at the door of the room causing Frankie to laugh a little.
"We'd better get ready for class. We'll talk to Ghoulia later for some tests, that way we can see what other things happened to your body." The girl said before going to the bathroom leaving me alone.
At that time I looked in the mirror to see my new appearance. I'm a Kitsune now, I looked at the marks from last night's kitsune attack before I touched them and looked at the mirror again.
"Don't worry Benja. I know this is something new in your life but it's nothing to worry about. Maybe Jinafire will help me or Clawdeen. Now what I have to do is stay calm, Frankie and you will go talk to Ghoulia so nothing bad it will happen." I said while looking at the kimono Clawdeen gave me before putting it on. Today was definitely going to be a long day.
