"Let's see. Maybe if I teach Frankie how to use a spear. No, maybe a sword or a bow." I was in the Monster High cafeteria having a conflict with myself.
The weekend was drawing near and training had to start. I needed to organize things for training so I could figure out how to get my friends in.
Draculaura had similar abilities to Karen. The vampire girl could turn into a bat which was somewhat similar to Karen's powers when she wears her costume, the biggest difference being that Draculaura had a sonic shriek with the ability to stun and throw enemies off balance.
Perhaps some physical training as well as acrobatic training in her flight could work so that she could fly more smoothly with the wind and the physical training would help the girl to melee with more force.
Clawdeen had enhanced senses like mine due to her being a wolf, the girl had told me about an amulet she uses to turn into a wolf. The werewolf girl had great speed, agility and dexterity which is unique and that can be increased when she looks at the full moon.
Physical training and showing her a type of fighting could make her able to fight like Diana or Tatsu. I'll have to think in more detail though and find out if Clawdeen could use a weapon like spears or swords.
Abbey was a very strong girl. Her strength was gigantic as was her stamina, and something I noticed the first day when I met her is that she has ice powers just like me. The girl was clearly the closest thing he could consider to a Kryptonian due to her icy breath and her monstrous strength.
Some combat style training could help her fight more fluidly and maybe some physical training would help her be faster and more flexible.
Jinafire. The dragon girl was the clearest representation of Tatsu, her sword control, her combat style and her abilities as a dragon made the girl a qualified hero. But she needed to teach Jinafire a few things about heroes, the main one for her was to get her a hero outfit and show her how I do things.
Deuces. Cleo's boyfriend, in addition to having a good physique, the teenager had a unique ability and that was that he could turn people into stone just by looking into their eyes. However, it was a double-edged ability because one time Deuce had mistakenly used his ability on himself on an unlucky day.
A physical training and training him in martial arts could help him become stronger. I also have to think about how to train his ability to avoid any mistakes he might make by accident.
Clawd. Clawdeen's brother had the same abilities as the girl except he doesn't have an amulet but like a werewolf, Clawd has very good strength, formidable stamina and good speed something he could improve by looking at the full moon.
The training would be the same, physical training and teaching him martial arts so he could get stronger. Clawdeen had told me that Clawd captained several school sports teams, so I thought Diana's training would be perfect for the werewolf.
Vandal. I'm not very clear about her abilities, but from what I know she has a great crew ready to fight, a ship full of cannons and ammunition. She had said something about her sword, which gave me an idea that Vandala could fight with her sword.
Today I plan to talk to the girl. Besides that today I was going to help her repair her ship, maybe this way I can think of some training for her. But one thing is clear to me and that is that I will teach her how to improve her sword control.
This was unbelievable, but Cleo had said that she would be training. I need to think of the perfect training for her, the Nile girl in addition to having jackals to take care of her like Nefera, the girl used multiple Egyptian relics with multiple spells or curses. Not to mention that she now wears an amulet with the ability to shoot bandages.
Physical training would help her become faster and more agile, which would be perfect since she is the captain of the Monster High cheerleading club. Perhaps I can also teach him how to use her bandages more strategically to take advantage of the amulet.
Operetta told us that she would not train with us because the girl did not want to leave her theater and even less her music. But she told us that if something very serious happened, she wouldn't hesitate to join us in combat.
There was only one thing that worried me a lot and made me insecure. It was Frankie, the girl had a delicate and fragile body, her seams were strong but many times the girl lost a hand and she did not have much experience in combat.
There was only one thing that was unique about Frankie and that was his control with electricity. But that electricity is also what keeps the girl alive, Draculaura told me that on one occasion Frankie used all his electricity to save Monster High and his friends, but that almost put Frankie to the brink of death.
This only made it difficult for me to find the right training for Frankie. I couldn't let her use her electricity, though maybe I could teach her to use her electricity as my magic but I couldn't risk it.
"This is bad. I almost have practice for everyone and not for Frankie, what am I going to do?" I asked frustrated as there were many loose papers on my table. At that moment I saw Draculaura and the girls enter causing me to quickly put everything away.
"Hello Brother how are you?." Draculaura asked with a smile as the vampire girl walked over to where I was to say hello.
"Hello Draculaura, I was just planning on training for everyone this weekend. I'm almost done, but I'll have to think about what time we can all meet up. I don't think you guys want to go to training at five in the morning with me." I said with a shy smile making Cleo feel a chill down her spine.
"That's right. I'm not going to train at five in the morning, I need my beauty sleep." The girl said in horror making Clawdeen laugh.
"Hey Benja, I can't help but ask but how will my training be this weekend? I'm so excited to see what I'm going to do." Frankie said with a smile but that made me freeze.
"Oh well, umm. Hehehe, me. I'd love to tell you Frankie but I don't want to spoil the surprise since it's a very special training." I said nervously before getting up and putting my things away.
"Benja, is everything alright?" Draculaura asked with concern seeing me nervous.
"I'm fine, Draculaura. I have to go help Rochelle watch the halls, I'll see you guys later." I said before leaving the cafeteria.
Somewhere else. Footsteps were heard in the catacombs of Monster High and suddenly a person entered an old and dusty room. The place looked somewhat messy, there were multiple things that were rusty, broken or very dirty. The person meticulously searched the entire place until he found some plans.
"Perfect. This kitty will get her reward." Said the person before leaving without anyone seeing her.
I was in my drama class right now, still thinking about Frankie's training. But as much as I thought, no idea came. I didn't want to risk Frankie training the way I did, I didn't want her to get hurt.
"Very well my dear students. Today, all of you will show off your singing, drama and dancing skills on our stage. I want to see all you can do and see if you are ready for our performance day next week." Said the teacher making us all have a smile.
"Honey. Get your camera ready. I need you to capture the inspiration and artistry of my students." The teacher said as the man looked at a girl.
The girl was a sea monster, her skin was swamp green, her hair was multiple shades of green and blue, her eyes were reptilian green, and it looked like she had a camera in her hands.
One by one, they all started to go on stage and I saw that they all had amazing abilities and talents. Many danced, others showed off their skills, and some showed acrobatic talent, but few sang.
"Very well. Benjamin Escudero, you are next." The teacher said as I walked onto the stage.
"Benja, before you start. I couldn't help but hear rumors that you've sung at Tash's concert, wouldn't you mind showing us a bit of your voice in a song?" The teacher asked curiously making me a little nervous but then I smiled.
"I don't know, master. What if I do it wrong? I mean, it was only once and I don't know if I'll still have the touch." I said a little nervous making the teacher laugh a little.
"Don't be afraid, Benja. Just let yourself go, free your body and keep your mind blank. Let everything flow in you." The man said causing me to close my eyes to relax.
The song started. I still had my eyes closed to try to calm my body. I let my heart relax and slowly I felt my body feel lighter and I felt how the melody seemed to travel through my whole body making me not able to help but move a little as if I was about to dance.

Everyone saw how I suddenly left the stage and walked to the exit before going out into the halls which made everyone follow me while I kept singing letting my whole body and heart go with the flow.

I began to dance in the corridors and to sing with more intensity causing many students to look at me with surprise. On the other hand, I felt free, I felt that I needed to continue, I needed to free myself and not let anything or anything stop me. I felt. Happy.

Without realizing it, I came across some gargoyles who were painting and saw that my kitsune tails were now full of paint, but that made me feel more excited before I started painting the walls with my kitsune tails.

Ghoulia and Spectra were in the halls until they saw me arrive and they saw that I started painting the floor with my tails while singing, but I also noticed that all the students and teachers were gathering around me.

Everyone watched as my kitsune hair and tails began to shine as I was carried away by happiness and by the song while I danced.

The Monster High students watched as plants grew and displayed beautiful multi-colored flowers while I got carried away and started jumping up and down and approaching the students to sing.

Everyone watched as I returned to being in the center of the place as my body was covered in light as well as my tails and hair.

Suddenly I made a big jump and suddenly wings of fire came out from my back due to my magic causing everyone to be surprised and I was shocked by all the students and teachers who saw everything.
My friends were there. The girls thought I would stop singing but they noticed that my eyes flashed and my smile got bigger before continuing to sing as I return to the ground and my wings of fire disappear.

I suddenly opened the doors to Monster High and started down the stairs still singing as my kitsune hair and tails seemed to glow a shade of blue fire before I started to fly around a bit and look at everyone.

When I finished singing I slowly started to stop flying while everyone was clapping wildly and screaming with happiness while I was there completely surprised and happy.
Look at all the students, all my friends. Their expressions of happiness, their smiles, those looks full of joy. I felt that my heart was at peace, I couldn't help but shed a few tears while an enormous happiness appeared in my whole body.
During all the time I was in Metropolis, I always had to keep my powers hidden, even when I had to do some things I couldn't do it with complete freedom due to my powers but now. I finally felt complete, I felt free and. I felt as if now, I had returned to my home.
"Benja !!." Suddenly I was surprised when Draculaura hugged me tightly and then all my friends ran to hug me making my heart feel complete and tears increased. I didn't want to cry but I felt I couldn't stand it for a long time.
"Benja, that was a complete madness! It was amazing!!." Clawdeen shouted with a huge smile.
"Benja, you're impressive. I never thought about seeing something like that in my life." Gil said with a smile like Lagoona.
"I agree with Gil. Benja, that was beautiful." Lagoona said but everyone at that time noticed that I had a huge smile as I try to look away but they could see that I let out a few tears.
"Benja, is everything okay?" Frankie asked with concern but I surprised everyone when I gave a big hug to all my friends.
"I never felt so happy in my whole life. Thank you guys, seriously. It makes me very happy to know that I did it well." I said with a smile as I try to calm down.
"Bravo, Bravo. That was the best I saw in all my years. Benja, do you have a talent with a lot of potential. Tell me, would you like to participate in our show next week?" The teacher asked curiously. I looked at my friends and saw that everyone supported me making my smile grow.
"Of course. I would love to participate." I said smiling as I look at the teacher. That moved man a lot.
"Wonderful. Honey, ready Benja on the show please." Said the teacher while the girl showed a smile.
"Very good. I'll do it right now, I have to bring my camera to take these pictures. They are amazing." Honey said before leaving just like the teacher.
"Alright everyone. Return to your classrooms." Bloodgood said making us all return to our classes. Nobody was complaining, I could hear with a smile that many students were talking about my song making me feel happy.
Classes continued as normal. I thought back to Frankie's practice, now I was in the gym watching Clawd, Deuce, Manny and Heath play basketball. The girls were cheering on the team with their choreography.
"Here we go!!." Deuce saw that Clawd was free and quickly threw the basketball to where the wolf boy was. Clawd was going to run to the opponent's rim but he was knocked down making us all watch this with concern.
"Clawd!!" Clawdeen, Draculaura and I ran to where the boy was, we saw that Clawd was holding his ankle in some pain.
"God friend, are you okay?" I asked worriedly as Clawdeen and I helped Clawd up.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Ugh, that hurts." The wolf boy said but when he put his foot on the ground we saw that Clawd let out some moans of pain.
"Clawd, you sprained your ankle. You can't keep playing like this." Draculaura said with concern as we helped the boy to a sitting position.
"Ivy Element: Healing Plant." I said before putting my hand on the ground causing some plants to come out of the ground and start healing Clawd.
"Sorry Clawd, my plants may be effective on wounds like this but you'll need to let them take care of you, moving around will only slow down the healing." I said while looking at my friend.
"Well, that sucks. Clawd is the captain of the team, without him we are nothing." Deuce said as the teams took a break.
"Something has to occur to you brother, we are tied and we only have one minute left." Heath said with concern making the werewolf think.
Clawd looked around and saw his team. The werewolf felt frustrated for failing but at that moment he looked at me making an idea come to his head. Clawd would take off his shirt which made Draculaura look away with her face completely red.
"Benja, you are going to come in my place." The werewolf said causing me to be very surprised.
"Clawd, no offense mate. But I highly doubt this is a good idea." Manny said suspiciously as the minotaur looked at me emotionlessly.
"I know what I'm doing. Benja will be able to help you, listen to what he says. It doesn't hurt to try." Clawd said as I look at the shirt before putting it on.
"Okay, Clawd. I'll do my best to win." I said with determination making the werewolf smile before looking at the team.
"Very well, wizard. What is your plan?" Manny asked with his arms crossed.
At that moment I looked at my team before seeing the rival team. I could see some of the other team that could come up with a game strategy and then I looked at my team, an idea quickly crossed my mind that now I have a plan.
"Alright, this is the plan." I said before telling my team the plan.
All teams returned to the field. I looked at my friends and then at the rival team while I have the ball in my hands. The coach would blow the whistle by having me throw the ball to Manny.
The Minotaur ran until a huge cyclops stopped him, the one-eyed monster tried to take the ball from Manny, but the Minotaur managed to run between the legs of the huge monster.
"Manny, this way!!" The Minotaur threw the ball to Deuce. The teen quickly moved forward and searched the court until he saw me, two from the opposing team tried to take the ball from the teen but Deuce was quicker and threw the ball to me.
I quickly started running dodging some players from the opposing team, but quickly stopped and looked around for someone from my other team until I saw Heath.
"Heath, this way!!" I yelled before throwing the ball at the monster. Heath quickly grabbed the ball before shooting it into the hoop. Everyone watched as the ball went flying. There were only a few seconds left, the ball was reaching the hoop and it just made it in when time was up.
"We did it!!." I yelled happily and we quickly ran over to hug each other before we parted ways and walked to the pews to rest.
"Nice job, Benja. That was smart." Clawd said with a smile as I handed the shirt back to him.
"Thanks Clawd, I guess I learned something from Jinafire in our training." I said smiling as I sat down.
"Hey, Benja. Wouldn't you like to join the basketball team? I'm sure with you as a player we'll be a good team." The werewolf said with a smile as he looked at me.
"I'd love to. But I also want to join the swim club, chess club, and track club." I said a little disappointed making the boy laugh which caught my attention.
"Well then join those clubs and ours. I'm in all the sports clubs at Monster High." Clawd said with a smile making me smile too.
"I guess that's a good idea. Thanks Clawd." I said smiling as we all went back to our classes.
Today was without a doubt the best day of my life. I kept remembering the many things I did that I now had to do soon. Lagoona, Gil, Ghoulia and Avea were happy to see that I made my decision to join their clubs. I felt that today everything was calm, I walked until I reached my locker but when I took my math book all my papers fell.
"Hey Benja." I looked ahead and saw Draculaura with the rest of my friends.
"Hey girls, how was practice today?" I asked smiling as I pick up all my notes and the girls helped me.
"It was amazing as always. Although of course, Frankie needs to improve more with his seams." Cleo said a little annoyed making the Stein girl laugh with some embarrassment.
"Wow, check this out." We all looked at Draculaura and I saw that she had one of my papers where I wrote down my ideas for her training.
"Acrobatics and martial arts? That's amazing." The vampire girl said excitedly and then the girls looked at her notes.
"Well. I'm glad to know you thought very well in all our workouts, I appreciate you teaching me to use my amulet better." Cleo said looking at his note.
"Haha, I no longer see the time to learn to fight. I want to see the face of Waps when I see how I beat him up." Clawdeen said with a smile.
"Benja, and my training list? That is, you said you wouldn't tell me but. I want to know how my training will be, please." Frankie said with a smile but the girls saw that I lowered my head and sighed with disappointment.
"I'm sorry Frankie. I've been thinking about a training method for you all day, but I couldn't find the perfect one for you. I know you want to help me, but I don't know if you can handle the training I do and I can't teach you how to use your electricity as my magic. I tried to think of something for you, but I couldn't." I said sadly while looking at the girl.
"Don't worry, Benja. I understand, but don't feel bad. Besides, I think I can handle the training you're going to give us." Frankie said causing me to look at the girl curiously.
"But what about your seams?" I asked with concern making the girl laugh.
"Benja, I always lose my hand many times. I know that my seams are not strong and that I may not have perfect physical condition, let alone incredible powers. But I said that I will not disappoint you, and I plan to train with you no matter what happens ." Frankie said with a smile full of determination making me smile.
"Okay, it's good to know you have that determination Frankie. That means you'll have a great future as a hero like everyone else." I said with a smile making everyone smile.
"Alright everyone. Let's have fun, it's still a nice day so let's go shopping. I heard there's a discount on shoes and bags today." Clawdeen said with a smile making us all leave the school.
The night arrives. We were all resting quietly but there was a monster that wasn't calm. Frankie was moving from side to side on his bed, his face was covered in sweat and his breathing was somewhat ragged.
Frankie's dream.
The girl was in a huge dark hallway. Frankie didn't understand why she was there and was walking aimlessly until she heard my voice.
"I want to stay."
Frankie was confused and surprised, my voice was not calm. My voice seemed full of decision.
"Draculaura is my sister, she is my family as well as the rest of my team."
Frankie was surprised at how for a moment my voice now seemed to be full of seriousness.
"I don't understand why you can't understand. This is my home, this is my family, why do I have to leave them?"
Frankie stopped walking and listened to everything in surprise as she looked around to see where I was.
"What if I don't want to be a hero of Metropolis anymore?"
The girl was completely shocked at that statement and suddenly saw that a door suddenly appeared. It was the door of her house and she fearfully opened it.
"You can't be serious, I can't believe you say you want to stay here with these monsters either." a female voice said making Frankie walk slowly through the house.
"Maybe it's because I'm a monster now. Also, before I was a kitsune I also felt that New Salem is just as peaceful and calm a city as Metropolis. But there is one thing, here I can be myself now without fear and now I feel that I can finally show what I'm capable of." I said seriously.
"You risk your secret identity by showing yourself in front of people. And I don't see an ounce of concern or regret in you. Aren't you afraid for your friends' safety?" The female voice asked with an authoritative and serious tone.
"Of course I care about them. That's why I protect them and train them so that they can fight any villain, it's what a leader does. Care about his team and the people he loves." I said with a much more serious tone.
"I care about you too. And now, after everything I went through to get here. You say you don't want to leave?" The female voice asked with a bit of anger.
Frankie walked slowly until she reached the kitchen where everything was heard. The girl slowly peeked out and saw a person with me. The person was a girl who was wearing civilian clothes, her hair was dark blue and her skin was a tan tone.
"It is my decision. Yes, I admit it is selfish and very foolish of me to be like this. But please, Diana, you must understand that I feel that I am home again, that I feel that I can now be even freer here than ever before in Metropolis." I said looking at the girl hoping that she would understand.
"I understand and I'm glad to know that you're happy, it's me and the girls that we've always wanted for you. But you have to come back to us, Waps is on the loose and we have to catch him." Diana said as the girl looked at me.
"I know. And that's why I train my team, Waps won't get away with it. Draculaura, Frankie, Cleo, Clawdeen. All my friends tried hard to break their boundaries and become amazing heroes, but there's only one thing I don't understand. Why don't you let them help?" I asked seriously while Frankie listened to everything.
"They are civilians, Benja. We have much more time defending the city than them. That's why we can't let them fight, but now answer me this. Why don't you want to continue being a hero of Metropolis?" Diana asked seriously.
"Because New Salem is my city now, people believe in me and have their utmost confidence in me as well as my team. Besides, I'm happy here. I miss Metropolis, it's true. But I feel like I can't leave this city. " I said looking away but the other girl was looking at me seriously.
"I thought as a leader you might understand, Diana. But I was wrong. You don't care that I'm happy." I said seriously but when I tried to leave the girl held me tightly by the arm.
"You won't leave!! If I'm a leader then you'll listen, you can't stay here. The girls and I have come to find you and take you back home with us, aren't you happy with us in metropolis!?" Diana yelled angrily.
"I am happy with you, I love every minute that I spent with you and I could never change the beautiful times we spent. But I do not want to leave, New Salem is my home and I have a family and team that need me. You are not acting like a leader You just act like a manipulator!!" I yelled angrily causing a huge shock and anger in Diana.
"We have done the impossible for you, and we will not leave without you. We will stop Waps, save our worlds and that's it!!." Diana yelled but when I suddenly managed to let go she heard the sound of something breaking.
Frankie saw that what had fallen was a painting. I slowly leaned in to look at the photo as tears fell from my eyes. Diana on the other hand looked at everything with shock at realizing everything.
"Benja. Me." Diana tried to get closer but I stood up and shot a cold look causing the Amazon warrior to back away as my kitsune ears and tails perked up.
"Because I can't be happy!? Why can't I be free!? I was thinking about you every day believing that I could visit New Salem when we return to Metropolis but it was all a lie! They just want to separate me from my family and from my friends." I screamed with tears as I recoiled in pain.
"Benja, wait. This is not what you think!!" Diana screamed as the girl tried to get closer but a ball of fire pushed her back.
"Leave me alone, Diana!! Until you understand how much this means to me, I don't want to see you again!!" I screamed before storming out of the room crying as Diana fell to her knees.
Frankie woke up and held her chest because of what she saw. The girl was completely shocked by everything, she turned around and noticed that I was still sleeping peacefully with a smile as the girl lay down on the bed again.
"Benja. Are you really that happy here?" Frankie asked curiously but then remembered Diana making the Stein girl serious.
"I promise. I won't let them take you away, you're happy here with us. I won't let them make you cry, not again. I promise we all work hard and we'll make you proud of us Benja." Frankie said with determination as the girl looked at me.
The Stein girl looked around and the girl shyly hugged me before putting her head on my chest. Frankie blushed a lot but also showed a soft smile.
"I won't let you down, Benja. I'll show you that I'm going to push my limits and be a great hero like you." Frankie whispered before falling sound asleep.
