Vandala, operetta and I were very serious. but i was kind of nervous. In front of us was the same kitsune that attacked me last time, now I could feel the power of that fox and I could feel that it surpassed me.
"Please, master. There's no need to start a fight. I'm just asking you to please come with me." The kitsune said seriously but that only made me more nervous.
"Who are you!? Why are you looking for me!? Why did you turn me into a kitsune!?" I yelled nervously but the kitsune still remained serious.
"Please master. There's no need to be scared, I just want to talk to you in a more peaceful way than we did last time." The kitsune said seriously making me serious.
"Oh I'm sorry honey, but I'm afraid you haven't answered my friend's question here. If you don't have an answer to say about what happened last time, then we have nothing to talk about." Operetta said seriously making the kitsune serious.
"My business is with my master. I won't repeat it, let me talk to my master alone. There is no need to resort to violence, but you are forcing me to take serious measures." The kitsune said and suddenly pink electricity began to appear in his fur.
"I'm sorry little fox, but we won't let you take our friend." Vandala said with a smile and full seriousness before drawing her sword.
"Then you leave me no choice." the kitsune said before attacking with a blast of electricity but I quickly made a shield appear that protected us from the attack.
"Vandala, Operetta. Find the team, everyone is at Frankie's. I'll try to buy time for you two, but you'd better hurry. I don't know if my magic will be enough to give that kitsune a fight." I said seriously making my friends look at this with concern.
"Benja, are you sure?" The ghost girl asked with concern but then the girls saw how vines covered my entire body, when the vines released my body I was now wearing my hero outfit.
"I know what I'm doing. Now hurry up." I said seriously before starting to float leaving my friends behind. Operetta and Vandala looked at each other before nodding and leaving.
"Master, please. There is no need to fight." The kitsune said seriously while the two of us were a little distance away from each other.
"I don't trust you. First you attacked me, then you tampered with my magic, Draculaura almost got badly hurt, and you attacked my friends. Even though you're not friends with Waps, that doesn't mean that makes you someone to trust." I said seriously while getting into a fighting stance.
"If a fight will prove my trust and honesty to you, master. Then let us fight." The kitsune said as his eyes glowed a turquoise hue.
The place was suddenly filled with a deep silence. The two of us looked at each other seriously while waiting for the other's attack. The wind began to blow, the sky was dark, and the moon was shining brightly. Suddenly a leaf fell to the ground and we quickly became serious.
"Fire Element: Dragon's Breath!!." Suddenly we both attacked with a large burst of fire causing a huge explosion. I looked at this in amazement since I never expected this but then I noticed that the kitsune was in the air.
"Sharp Claws!!" Suddenly the kitsune launched a strong slash into the air causing me to jump to avoid the air slashes but the ground broke. I tried to compose myself but when the kitsune hit the ground it quickly jumped up and gave me a blow that sent me back.
"Ivy Element: Wrath of Mother Nature!!." I yelled before hitting the ground causing roots to attack the kitsune. However, the animal was able to dodge my attack but I quickly jumped to avoid its claws.
"Fire Element: Dragon Breath!!." I yelled before firing a huge blast of fire. That made the Kitsuné quickly dodge my attack before looking at each other seriously.
"I'm sorry teacher. But this ends here and now." Suddenly the Kitsune's eyes seemed to shine and suddenly he saw with shock that the moon had turned red like blood.
"Ghost Cut". Suddenly, the Kitsuné sped by before falling behind me. The blood in my body seemed to stop and my body had tensed as a drop of blood fell from my cheek before landing dry on the ground, but the fox seemed to be about to fall.
"Dammit. That attack left me with almost no magic, ugh. The important thing is that I was able to knock Benja unconscious. I just hope he doesn't get mad when he wakes up." the fox said before dragging me away with difficulty.
The Kitsune dragged me until we were far enough from monster high. At that moment the fox closed his eyes and suddenly a white magic circle appeared on the ground, the Kitsune seemed to have difficulties but little by little the circle shone brighter and we both disappeared.
"It's already too late. Where will Benja be?" Frankie asked fearfully looking at the clock. The girl kept fiddling with her seams due to her concern but then she saw Draculaura put a hand on the girl's shoulder.
"Don't worry, Frankie. Benja may not have as much magic as before, but he'll be fine, nothing will happen." Said the vampire girl but that caused Frankie to release more sparks and her breathing quickened.
"That's what worries me. Benja is defenseless, he won't be able to defend himself if Killer croc or Bane are around, and if Monster High happens again, and if Benja gets seriously hurt!? I will never forgive myself if my Benja is left in a hospital stretcher!!" Frankie yelled before covering her mouth. The girl slowly turned her head only to see Draculaura with wide eyes and a huge smile.
"Because of the vampires. You and Benja are dating!" Almost everyone in the house had been startled by Draculaura's sudden scream as Frankie turned red as a tomato.
"Draculaura, hush." Frankie tried to shut Draculaura up but the girl continued to scream and jump.
"Draculaura please Stop it." Frankie said sheepishly before leaving the vampire girl but Draculaura kept giggling.
"Sorry Frankie, but this is fantastic. You and Benja, my brother and my best friend. You are officially dating." Draculaura said with a smile but it made Frankie play with his seams with some embarrassment.
"I know but. What will happen when the girls from metropolis are here? Will they be furious with me and Benja? Will they be upset that I am with Benja? Will they make me break up with him?" Frankie started to say one question after another but Draculaura quickly grabbed her hands.
"Frankie, please calm down. Listen, I'm pretty sure that when they meet you they'll see that you're a fantastic monster with a big heart, if Benja loves you then they'll accept you." Draculaura said with a smile making Frankie slowly calm down but...
"Guys!!." the door was abruptly opened by Operetta causing everyone to look at this with shock due to the sudden entrance.
"By the mummies, what's going on!?" Cleo yelled with some annoyance but then they saw Vandala arrive with a horrified expression.
"The Kitsuné. That fox found Benja!!." the ghost girl screamed which horrified everyone but especially Frankie and Draculaura.
"What did you say!? And why did they leave my brother alone!!". Draculaura yelled as she shook Operetta.
"He told us to leave and that he was going to fight that fox to buy time for Vandala and me. He asked us to come here to look for them." Operetta said with difficulty causing Frankie to start breathing hard before grabbing Draculaura.
"We have to help Benja!! Everyone, get in the car now!!!" the girl yelled before everyone ran out to the cars before quickly going to Monster High.
I started to wake up slowly. My vision was blurry but slowly I started to get up just to see what was now in a somewhat dusty and abandoned room, I could see many Asian decorations around me but I could also smell some incense.
"It's good to see you're already awake, master." I turned around only to see the fox looking at an altar of a giant Kitsune.
"Where am I? Why did you bring me here? Who are you and why do you call me teacher?" I asked with some difficulty as the fox lit some incense before looking at me.
"There's a lot to explain. But, I think I should use something more presentable." Suddenly a turquoise glow covered the fox making me close my eyes. When I opened my eyes I saw someone I recognized instantly.
"Euna. Is that you?" I asked very surprised. The girl was wearing a traditional kimono as the girl stood up to look at me before curtsying.
"As I said. There are many things to explain, and. I guess it would be better to start here." She said the girl before holding up a traditional lantern before we both walked to the entrance of the temple.
In the distance, in the middle of multiple mountains. A beautiful castle was seen in the distance, suddenly a roar passed near the temple and I saw a gigantic dragon fly and get lost among the mountains. Just as we reached the edge of the temple, a flash caught my eye and I saw Euna.
The girl now seemed to be a human with pale skin like me, her hair was still the same but I saw that part of her kitsune parts were still like her ears and tails.
"Euna but... are you a human!?." I yelled in shock making the girl look at me with a person smile.
"Master, you too." said the girl. That made me quickly take out my Icoffin and see with shock that I had returned to my human appearance.
"But...how is it possible!? A moment ago I was a kitsune!!." I yelled in shock before seeing Euna.
"Master. Welcome to Ever After high. In this world unlike New Salem, here we children of fairy tales live, and once upon a time. Mystical legends like us kitsunes lived before, and this temple, is what remains of our ancestors." Euna said making me see this with shock.
"Wait. Are you the only kitsune here? But where are the others?" I asked curiously but the girl looked sad before she used some magic. Suddenly I saw how the temple seemed illuminated by multiple torches.
"There is something I must tell you, master. Before, our worlds were joined." Said the girl causing me to see this with confusion.
"United? But, how?" I ask curiously. Euna started walking making me follow her.
"Centuries ago. Fairy tales and monsters shared the same world, fairy tales had the grasslands and monsters had the darkest forests of all. Both monsters and fairy tales were too shy to get close to each other." ."
"But little by little, that shyness was disappearing and the monsters and fairy tales began to live in harmony. That was how I believe this civilization and everything was peace and harmony, however. One day, a wizard and a Kitsune had discovered something unique, something shocking. The first contact with someone from a world different from ours."
"The magician and the Kitsune were very proud of their discovery and they taught that person everything they knew, from their magic and spells to more basic spells and incantations. But that pride was cutting everyone's safety, when that person they had brought fed more and more on the knowledge of the two."
"One day, the birth of one of the first daughters of the kings had arrived. Everyone was present, including the magician but for a strange reason the Kitsune was not present. But everything became clear, when the sky darkened and the clouds parted. They came together in a green whirlpool."
"Everyone went out and saw that the place where the events were taking place was in the sacred Kitsune temple. The king immediately sent some soldiers to attack while the magician decided to go to his aid like the monsters, but when they arrived the horror was inevitable."
Euna paused for a moment clenching her fists before sighing to relax and lower her head.
"The Kitsunes. All of them. They were killed, each of the corpses had only one thing in common, their tails had been cut off, something that is very serious. Well, if the Kitsune loses its tails, then it loses its life because the tails are a very important part for them because their magic and vitality live in their tails."
"Everyone came to the center of the temple only to see that strange man performing a ritual, the soldiers tried to attack but were quickly defeated, and the magician was left alone."
"It is said that it was the fiercest battle of all. At one point both combatants fell into the town where the subject decided to use his magic to do something shocking, steal a vampire's life energy to take its power."

"But what happened to it?" I asked curiously making Euna look at me.
"No one knows what happened, but. It is said that the monsters came to the magician to make them disappear and reappear in a safe place. When asked for an explanation, the monsters said that they no longer felt safe and if that person followed, they didn't want to be next."
"The wizard felt a deep lump in his throat and a great sadness. It was all his fault, for not having protected his home, for not protecting his best friend, and now he was responsible for generating enormous terror to the monsters. Without saying a word, the magician agreed and sent them to a different world."
"Since that day. No one heard from that wizard again, the last thing that was heard from him was what he wrote before he disappeared." Euna said before handing me a sheet.
"This is my fault. It's my dumb, stupid, fucking fault. What did I do? Why did I have to continue my stupid curiosity!? Now because of me, the Kitsunes are dead and the monsters now demanded that I transport them to a world where they can be safe."
"I was so happy that we had discovered a being from another world and I was so quick to show you everything we are capable of that I didn't realize the consequences that could generate."
"Now it's too late. I lost my best friend, condemned monsters that were innocent add-ons, and banished monsters to unknown lands. I don't know if I can continue this."
"Everyone calls me a hero, but it's not true. I'm a murderer, I just made everything worse and ruined our civilization. I don't deserve anything, I just deserve to die for what I did, and be punished for what I did. I hope one day they will forgive me, I'm really sorry."

"Master. There is a reason why I asked that I have brought you here." Euna said before we both walked until we saw the castle back.
"The worlds are in danger." That statement left me petrified before Euna spoke again.
"Before I went to Monster High, I had a vision. Where worlds had collided and were in destruction under a hierarchy and the rule of a relentless being. I couldn't see who that person was, but I could feel his power. It was a power that could unite the worlds and turn them into an indescribable hell." Euna said making me serious.
"Waps. He is the only one with enough technology and power to be able to travel between worlds." I said seriously making the girl look at me.
"That is why I brought you here, master. We are the only ones who can stop this threat and protect our worlds." Euna said making me look at the girl.
"But I don't get it. Why did you turn me into a kitsune?" I asked curiously causing Euna to sigh and lower her ears before looking away.
"Your magic is almost similar to that of a Kitsune. My ancestors advised me that if I'm going in, I'm going to need the help of someone with Kitsune magic. That's why I made you one of my kind. Not only so that you expand your magical capabilities, but also help me to become stronger but." Euna looked embarrassed before sighing.
"It seems I made a mistake. Your magic and Kitsune magic seem to be still merging, and that caused some of your powers to be blocked because the Kitsune magic seems to have affected your magical abilities and that caused a block in you." Euna said making me look at my hands.
"But, there is one thing I don't understand. How is it possible that my magic doesn't work well anymore? When I used my powers I felt that all my magic had been used up very quickly but also the spells became stronger." I said while looking at the girl.
"That may be because Kitsune magic needs large energy capacities to use unlike your old spells. Which means you'll have to train a lot more in mastery with Kitsune magic to avoid massive energy expenditure." Euna said making me nod.
"I understand but. I just have one question. Why did you attack my friends? And why didn't you just come over and talk to me." I asked doubtfully making the girl sigh.
"I'm so sorry about that. When a Kitsune is in its animal form, the wild instincts become more intense, I attack out of fear and without much thought since I don't control that transformation well. And, about going to talk to you. I didn't know how to do it, I was very nervous and didn't know how to tell you, besides. I thought you would be furious with me for what I did." Euna said making me put a hand on the girl's shoulder.
"I understand. Don't feel bad, Euna. I know you didn't want to do it with bad intentions, it was your instincts and I understand that." I said smiling making the girl smile.
"Thank you teacher, umm I said. Benja." Euna said with a smile before I looked around.
"So. How will our training be?" I asked curiously making the Kitsune girl meditate a bit.
"Ideally, you should train physically first, but from what I see, a girl named Jinafire is taking care of your training. Which means it would be perfect to train spells and magical abilities." Euna said making me nod.
"Very good. And what kinds of magic can Kitsunes learn?" I asked curiously making the girl smile.
"We are able to use many types of magic, however we have to be careful when we learn to use new spells and awaken different powers, we will be Kitsunes but if we awaken so much power our bodies won't be able to resist. So we will have to go slowly." Euna said making me nod.
"Well, what kind of magic are we going to learn first?" I asked curiously but I only saw that Euna lowered her head.
"I don't know. Unfortunately all the ancient scrolls that had instructions on different types of spells and magic were destroyed centuries ago. What little knowledge of magic I have is thanks to some books I found here and some of my spells I learned by watching you fight ." Said the girl with some disappointment.
"I understand. I guess we'll have to find out. Umm, here. When you're ready, call me and we can train." I said smiling before giving my number to Euna making the girl smile.
"Thank you, teacher." The girl said but then we saw the sun starting to rise.
"I'd better head back to New Salem. Your friends must be worried." Said the girl making me see this with concern.
"But, how will we go? Besides, how is it possible that we are both here?" I asked with surprise but then I saw that a paper with something written in Korean seemed to appear in Euna's hand.
"These are transportation stamps. Just writing where you want to go and using fire magic will allow you to appear without any problem." Euna said making me very excited.
"Does that mean I can return to Metropolis!?." I yelled happily but the girl shook her head causing me to see this with shock.
"Sorry but, it doesn't work like that. These roles are special and have their limits, for example. We can only appear in the temple and in New Salem because these worlds share the same magical energy. And, now that you're a Kitsune. The energy you brought from your previous city no longer exists." Euna said making me sigh sadly.
"Oh, okay. I understand." I said with disappointment. It hurt me a lot to know that I still couldn't return to my dimension.
"Master. I know it anguishes you, and I understand your pain. I spent years of my life on the streets surviving with the help of a noble baker and fighting to survive. I know what it feels like to lose a family and never be able to see them again. But, surely they would want you to stay strong and suggest further." Euna said making me smile a little.
"Thank you, Euna. I promise I'll do my best to make you stronger." I said smiling making Euna smile before writing something on the paper and putting it on the ground causing a magic circle to suddenly appear.
"Come on teacher, the day will soon come and we must become stronger." said the girl before leaving the place.
"Come on, Benja. Answer, answer." Draculaura said fearfully as the girl held her Icoffin but the call was never answered.
The hours had passed. My team had been looking everywhere for me and as the hours passed, terror and anguish were more and more present in my friends but especially in Frankie and Draculaura.
"Ugh, this is stupid!! Where the fuck is Benja!?." Cleo yelled in anger as the girl stomped to the ground.
"Screaming and kicking like a child is no use Cleo." Clawdeen said angrily as everyone gathered at the Monster High entrance.
"I don't care!! We were looking for that stupid fox all night!! I need my beauty sleep!!." Cleo yelled but then they saw Draculaura throw her Icoffin to the ground with tears in her eyes.
"Shut up!! Benja is not a stupid fox!! He is my best friend, he is like the brother I always wanted to have!! He saved me, except Monster High, he fights for us and I..." Draculaura I can't stand it and she started crying making Clawd cover her with his jacket.
Everyone couldn't help but feel a prick in their hearts. Draculaura is the sweetest and kindest vampire girl of all, and seeing her cry so hard caused deep pain in everyone.
"Don't worry, Draculaura. Benja is very strong, he'll be fine, I promise." Clawdeen said but the girl saw that the vampire girl stood up abruptly and looked at everyone with tears.
"No!! He's not fine!! That stupid fox that attacked him did something with his magic and now he's weak!! If Bane or Waps find him he'll be in danger!! And I won't allow!!." Draculaura yelled before quickly flying off in her bat form into the woods.
"Draculaura wait!!" Frankie yelled causing everyone to quickly follow the vampire girl.
Draculaura was flying her best and dodging the trees, the girl was crying uncontrollably and constantly looking at my necklace. Memories of her began to come back which caused the girl to mistakenly hit a tree and fall before reverting back to her normal form.
"Benja...Where are you?..BENJA!!!." Draculaura screamed loudly as if she had used her sonic shriek on her vampire form.
The girl lay down next to a tree to cry but suddenly the girl saw something appear in front of her and she saw with shock that it was me and Euna.
"Draculaura? Are you…" I couldn't finish because I was knocked down by the girl in a big hug but then I felt something that made my blood run cold. They were Draculaura's tears.
"Silly, silly, silly!! Where were you!? I was so scared, I didn't know what to do or who to call. We looked for you all night, and we couldn't find you. Never leave me again!!." The girl yelled as she hugged me tighter causing me to accept the hug with tears.
"Me. I'm really sorry Draculaura, I didn't want to scare you so much. Please don't cry anymore. I'm fine, I promise." I said smiling as I wiped away the girl's tears while Draculaura gave me a tight hug with a smile. I looked at a tree branch and saw Euna smiling before saying goodbye to me and leaving.
"Benja. You have done many things for us and I want to ask you to take an oath." Draculaura said making me look at the girl.
"Frankie said it all. You lost a lot of your powers and you're not as strong as you used to be. That's why I want you to promise me, that if you're going to fight another villain in Metropolis, you'll let us help you. You've already done a lot for us." and you even almost died to protect us, but not only that."
"You lost your loved ones. You lost your birth family and now you're stuck here with us. I don't want you to suffer anymore, and that's why I want to help you not be sad anymore. Promise me that we will always be together, and let us be a part of your family, and promise me that you will never stop being happy." Draculaura said with a smile making me smile.
"I promise Draculaura. I will never leave them." I said smiling while we both give each other a hug. The vampire girl certainly reminded me of the sister I once lost. And she generated in me that feeling of feeling at home.
"Benja!!." I saw the rest of the team start to arrive. Frankie quickly hugged me tight as did the rest of the team.
"Benja, where were you!? You had us very worried." Clawdeen said with concern but then Frankie started checking my whole body.
"Are you alright? Aren't you hurt?" The girl asked with concern causing me to take Frankie's hands.
Everyone started asking me questions and seeing if I'm okay but. I was looking at everything with a slight smile, as if it were a small illusion, I could see my family in Metropolis making me relax.
"Guys, I'm fine. Nothing happened, I tried to chase the Kitsune but he was much faster than me and got away." I said while looking at my team making everyone sigh with relief.
"The positive side of everything is that you're fine and nothing bad happened to you. You had us very worried, next time don't fight that fox alone again, Benja." Clawdeen said with some seriousness.
"Yes, you are not as strong as before and it is a danger that you will fight alone. From now on, in any battle, your crew will always be with you, captain." Vandala said with a smile causing me to see this with shock.
"Wait. Are they saying that I'm their leader? But, I've never been a leader and I don't know if I'm ready for that." I said with concern but I saw that Jinafire put a hand on my shoulder.
"Your abilities as well as your way of acting in the face of danger make you a formidable leader. You have much more experience saving lives than we do, and you showed us that you never have to give up. That makes you a perfect leader." The girl said with a smile making me smile.
"Okay, I promise I'll do my best." I said smiling but then we felt a murderous aura and saw a certain monster approaching with glowing eyes.
"Benja..." We all turned around and saw Cleo. The girl had horrible dark circles under her eyes and her hair was a complete mess as were her clothes.
"We've been looking for you all fucking night, I couldn't get my beauty sleep and my clothes are a mess. You're going to pay for this." Cleo said venomously making us all start to tremble in fear.
"Cleo r-relax. Umm, I'll do a-anything to make you forgive me. I'm really sorry." I said afraid. The girl was just as scary as Doris when she gets mad.
"Very good. As punishment, you will go shopping with me every day until I decide when I am going to forgive you." The girl said but that made some swallow saliva and look at me with concern.
"Okay, I promise I'll accompany you shopping from now on." I said nervously making the girl smile.
"Very well. In that case, I'll see you tomorrow. Now I'm going to go home and catch up on the sleep I deserve." The girl said before going to the car.
"Dude, good luck. You're going to need it." Deuce said with concern causing me to look at this with confusion.
"Very good team. It's time to go to sleep, today was a hard night and it's time to rest." Draculaura said making us all start to go to the cars to leave but some eyes were looking at us from a branch of a tree.
"Maybe, I can trust them. But, I'll need time. Until then, thank you master. I promise I won't let you down." Euna said before leaving the place.
This was something shocking. Now I am part of some monsters with unique abilities in magic, to be honest now I was very curious to know what kind of magic I am going to learn now. The fact of not being able to return to my home still hurt me but. I feel that the truth is that the pain is gone.
Seeing my monster friends very worried and Draculaura crying. They had made me feel the same way I feel when I'm in the metropolis, the same concern I felt for my team. Maybe I'm gone and maybe I can never return home but. I feel like now, I found a new home. And a big, monstrous family.
So far today's chapter. Sorry for the delay and for not having uploaded chapters in a long time to this story, that doesn't mean I'm going to abandon this story. I promise that I will publish more chapters and I will not leave any story behind.
