Chapter 14 (Sophie's POV)

A/N: Sorry if this is bad. I'm kinda tired because I stayed up until 11 last night watching Cruella, and my brothers woke me up at 8:30 this morning.

Almost as soon as I close the door it opens again. I sigh. "Fitz…" "It's not Fitz. It's me, Biana." She corrects. I turn around. "I am SO sorry. Fitz was just…" "I saw. And I'm sorry." Biana says, comforting me.

"Mom made us Mallowmelt. And then after that we can do makeovers!" Biana exclaims, distracting me. It works. I smile. "You're ridiculous." But really, I am grateful for the distraction.

I remember my plans for this afternoon, and I get excited. "Bi. Guess what?" "What?" She asks. "I am going to get a dog!" She squeals and jumps up and down. "And I'm getting it with Keefe." I add. She pauses, and then squeals even louder, and that's saying something, because she was already squealing really loud.

It takes a while for Biana to settle down. She is SO excited. After she FINALLY calms down, we eat our Mallowmelt. It was still warm and as delicious as always. I sigh in complete happiness. "What?" Biana asks, her mouth half full. "I just love this so much. I can never find it in bakeries. I have to come to your house." Biana smiles. "That's because it's a family recipe." I nod. That makes sense. (I almost wrote "Sencen" here."

We finish our Mallowmelt, and then Biana gives me a makeover. I sigh. "Why do you always have to give me a makeover?" "Because it's fun!" She answers. I know I'm not going to get a better answer than that, so I shut up.

"Done." Biana says. She steps back and nods, satisfied by her work. She pulls out a mirror and gives it to me. I look at myself. Wow.

She put on just the right amount of mascara and put on some golden eyeliner. She claims that it "brings out my eyes." She put on a lavender eyeshadow that complements the gold. She also added a little blush and some lip gloss.

"Wow." I say. "You sure can work miracles." Biana smiles. "Come on. You didn't look that bad. You were just a… lost cause. When it comes to makeup." Ding! Just then, my phone dings. I check my messages and see that it's Jolie. "I'm outside!" "I'll be right there!" I tell her. I look at Biana.

"I got to go." I say. "But thank you for having me." "Of course!" She replies as I gather up my things. "Call me later to tell me about your daaaate." "Ugh. Fine." I say. I run up the stairs. "Bye!" Biana calls up. "Bye!" I shout over my shoulder. I make it up the stairs and say bye to Della, who is in the front room. She tells me that they would love to have me again as I dash out the front door, my bag slung over my shoulder.

I run up to Jolie's car, and she unlocks it for me. I jump into the passenger's seat and set my bag at my seat as I buckle myself. Snap. The buckle locks into place. "Thanks for coming to get me." I say. "No problem!" Jolie replies cheerily. She backs out of the driveway slowly, making sure not to hit anything.

While we're on the road, me and Jolie talk. I tell her about my soulmate and my date later today, and she talks about how great it's going with Brant. We talk like this until a song comes on that we both like, and we turn up the radio. I should've stayed at home. 'Cause now there ain't no letting you go. Am I falling in love with the one that can break my heart? We sing along until the song ends. As it ends, we pull into the driveway of 4279, Havenfield Drive.
