Reborn From the Void

Prologue

When the Zariman Ten Zero crossed into the Void, all adult lives went into a mad state and tried to murder their children. However, one man tried to save the children, although it didn't go as planned. He ultimately sacrificed himself to save a child from drowning in the Void's power. He was doomed to drift in the nothingness of the Void. Forever alone. Forever yearning for the day he would go home. The man's name was Nathan Vahn, and he was the most powerful entity in the universe. So powerful that the Man In The Wall feared his strength. Nathan on the other hand, didn't know he had any power. And his life of never ending nothingness was about to change.

Chapter 1

Nothing. That's all that could be seen in the Void. A never ending space of power. Nathan had drifted for ten thousand years. Time was so irrelevant in the Void that he had no idea how much time had passed in reality.

"Why? Why am I still here?" Nathan asked the Void.

This was a question that was asked often. Usually so he could have something on his mind to keep the loneliness away.

"I don't deserve to suffer this fate. I just tried to help children in need." Nathan said. "Agghh! Just let me go home!" Nathan yelled as loud as he could.

And if the Void could smile, Nathan was sure it was smiling. But in some crazy twist of fate. It's smile was different. Strings of greenish light began to form around an area in front of Nathan. It was strong and it began to suck him in.

"What!?" Was all Nathan could yell before he blacked out.

The Lotus was worried for her children. They were in a very dangerous situation.

"The Grineer and Corpus have combined a Void Key and a reengineered Void Engine. It will most likely be stable, but whatever they are pulling out of the Void you must stop." The Lotus said with a determined tone.

"Yes ma'am!" Four voices replied.

They were Tenno piloting their Warframes. Excalibur, Octavia, Gara and Volt. These were the Warframes involved in this mission. Excalibur sprinted through the corridors slicing multiple enemies, both Corpus and Grineer.

"I'm picking up multiple Void emissions. They have opened the portal! Hurry!" The Lotus said with concern.

When the Tenno reached the room with the portal, it was too late. The alliance had already begun to pull out energy from the Void.

"Stop them now!" The Lotus ordered.

The Tenno responded by killing multiple soldiers that came at them. But the alliance had come prepared. They sent their most elite soldiers against the Tenno. Although many of them died, they were keeping the Tenno at bay.

That was until alarms started to blare and monitors began to show off the chart energy readings.

"Do you feel that Tenno? Something unimaginably strong is coming through that portal. Close it." The Lotus said.

However, as Volt attempted to close the portal he realized something. Whatever was coming through was powerful enough to keep that portal open. So Volt said one thing to his comrades.

"Run!" He yelled.

All the Tenno began to run for the nearest extraction. But the ship was being torn apart. The Tenno were a little confused until The Lotus gave them an order.

"Use your Archwings to get to a safe distance. This ship is going to blow up." She said.

The Tenno did as they were told and jumped out the nearest airlock. They deployed their Archwings and flew to their ships at flank speed. They needed to get out of there. They waited in their ships patiently watching for the explosion that was supposed to happen. When it did the ship didn't explode it just was engulfed in raw Void energy and began to fall to the surface of Earth.

"There are human settlements where the ship is predicted to fall." Gara said with concern.

"Then you know what your next mission is. Rescue and recovery." The Lotus said as the Tenno fired up their engines.

The Tenno had been rescuing multiple non combatants from the Grineer. The Grineer were infuriated that their experiment did not go as planned. They decided to take their anger out on anyone that was caught close to the wreckage of the ship. Excalibur and Gara made their way deep into the wreckage. They were assigned recovery. Searching for any Void related aspects that the Grineer and Corpus might have. What they didn't expect to find was an unconscious human man.

"We have a person over here, and he is still alive!" Excalibur yelled. Gara ran to her comrade's aid and when they turned him over, Gara and Excalibur recognized the man's face.

"Is that!?" Gara asked with a surprised gasp.

Excalibur carefully picked up the man and carried him out of the wrecked ship. They took him to a safe area where The Lotus had personally come to aid those who needed help. She felt responsible for the ship falling on their settlement.

When Excalibur and Gara ran to her with an unconscious man, she expected that he would need her help as well. But when she looked at him closely, he was completely fine.

"There is nothing wrong with this man." The Lotus said, feeling a bit annoyed.

"I know! And we found him in the wreckage of the ship!" Gara exclaimed. The Lotus looked at her Tenno, wanting to know if this was one of their sick pranks. But when she heard the eagerness and determination in their voices. She knew this wasn't some practical joke.

"That shouldn't be possible." She said to them.

"That isn't even the weirdest part. This is a man we knew when we were children. Before we met you." Excalibur said.

"Who is it?" The Lotus asked with curiosity and cautiousness.

"Subhead Engineer of the Zariman Ten Zero, Nathan Vahn." Gara said.

"Wait, didn't you tell me he died?" The Lotus asked.

"No, we told you he tried to save me by putting his helmet on me and pushing me back to the Zariman. He tried to get back, but the Void pulled him away." Gara said.

The Lotus began to think about what to do about this situation. "Leave him with me, continue your search for the Void artifacts." The Lotus ordered.

The Tenno rushed off to continue their search.

She could tell they were happy and excited about seeing someone they believed to be dead. The Lotus looked at Nathan and began to wonder. "Why are you so special to them?"

The Lotus could not detect the Grineer and Corpus elite forces converging on her position. They were using an artifact of Void origin to mask their presence. Now, they waited for the best opportunity.
