Chapter 3 A Mother

Sean was asleep in the Wayne mansion with a book on top of his head.

It's been a month since Sean and Korra had arrived in this Universe in Gotham City.

News had reached many about Bruce's machine actually working which had opened up whole new Business opportunities for him both in other companies and the Government.

Right now a partnership was made with this new Universe making Republic City more advanced.

Alfred picked up the book and looked at the Title.

"The Legend of Beowulf?" Alfred asked amused as Bruce walked in.

"Every week it's always a new book." Bruce said as Sean yawned waking up.

"I like reading." Sean said taking it.

"More than I did when I was your age." Bruce said before they heard Korra scream followed by laughter.

"Again?" Sean asked as Korra came in pouting while Dick Greyson came in laughing.

"I HATE YOU!" Korra yelled making him laugh more.

"He scared you again?" Sean asked amused.

"Not my fault she's easy to scare." Dick said chuckling.

"Uh huh." Bruce said amused.

Sean took Korra outside to calm her down.

"GRR! I hate him so much!" Korra said.

"You never minded when I did it." Sean said.

"Thats different. You didn't scare me every day. Just once every week." Korra said making him chuckle.

"You know technically I might have a plan to help get even with him." Sean said making her blink before grinning.

"How?" Korra asked.

"What are you two up to?" Senna asked making them yelp before facing her.

"Nothing." Korra said innocently making her frown.

"Sean? I know you don't lie." Senna said.

"We're gonna scare Dick for all the times he scared her." Sean said.

"Oh. I'll allow it just once." Senna said knowing he deserved it for all the times he scared her. "But try not to go overboard." Senna said making them grin before running off.

"I worry they may end up doing more than they intended." Alfred said pouring her a cup of tea.

"Good or bad?" Senna asked.

"Yes." Alfred said making her giggle.

Meanwhile

Bruce was holding a special gathering at his company building full of other business owners and government people.

With him was Dick Greyson in a suit for him.

"You really should stop scaring Korra so much. Eventually it's gonna come back to haunt you." Bruce said.

"I'm just having a little fun. Theres nothing wrong with that. Besides in our work area it's fun." Dick said.

"And what work Area is that?"

Both turned seeing an African American Woman walking to them.

"Oh nothing he's just making jokes Miss..." Bruce tried to say.

"Amanda Waller." Amanda said. (Picture her from Arrow. I like the JLU version like everyone else but This one I think is even more serious. Besides Amanda Waller is Amanda Waller no matter what she looks like. Thin or large)

Thats when the Power went out shocking most of the room.

"Thats strange." Bruce said before it was filled with black smoke shocking people before the ceiling opened up as a dark figure in a black robe walked out with his face covered up and laughed evilly.

"What the hell is that!" A woman yelled.

"I...Am...The Grim Reaper." The Grim Reaper said darkly making people scream as he looked at Dick who gulped.

'Wait a minute.' Bruce thought amused knowing what was really going on.

"AH I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN ONE DAY!" A doctor behind Dick said thinking he was looking at him.

"Hmm?" Bruce said.

"I knew my past would come back to haunt me."

The Grim Reaper looked at him before pointing at him.

"Yes...Your past has come to claim you for all your sins. To the Underworld." The Grim Reaper said making him tremble.

"Please...I'll do anything!"

"Confess...To all...Your sins." The Grim Reaper said with a snarl.

"I killed a girl's family by purposely botching a surgery so they wouldn't talk about our affair. I didn't have a choice!"

This shocked everyone to the core while Amanda raised an eyebrow before walking to the Grim Reaper.

"Now, That was impressive that you got him to confess but..." Amanda said before pulling off the robe showing Korra and Sean with the first on the bottom holding crutches while Sean was up top with extended arms making them chuckle.

"Hi." Sean said making her look amused.

"Well, how bout that? You just got exposed by two little kids who intended this as a prank for someone else." Amanda said looking at Dick who chuckles nervously.

Soon the doctor was taken away after that.

"I told you it was gonna come to haunt you." Bruce said to Dick.

"Ok I'll stop scaring her. You guys are brutal." Dick said making Sean and Korra grin.

"That was very impressive." Amanda said.

"We just wanted to scare Dick for all the times he scared Korra all the time. Then when whoever that was accidentally thought it was for him I saw opportunity and took it." Sean said making her smile.

"And well used that opportunity was. Whats your name?" Amanda asked.

"Sean." Sean said.

"Korra." Korra said.

"So, this is the Famous Avatar I've heard about." Amanda said looking at Korra. "I had heard rumor she left her world but no one but a small few in the government knows her identity." Amanda said.

"Yes. Her family is living with me." Bruce said.

"And what about him?" Amana asked.

"No, he's just living with us. He doesn't actually have any family since they just found him." Bruce said.

"I see." Amanda said.

"Why?" Bruce asked.

"I don't suppose you'd be against an adoption then. Clearly he has a great amount of potential. And I wanna see how far it goes." Amanda said.

"Well..." Bruce tried to say.

"Or do you want to train him as your next Sidekick?" Amanda asked shocking him. "I'm not easily fooled." Amanda said making him frown.

"How bout we discuss this later in private." Bruce said.

"Certainly." Amanda said.

Later

"How did you figure it out?" Bruce asked.

"Wasn't hard to see. Batman shows up when you come back from your trip around the world? I don't think so." Amanda said.

"Fair enough on that." Bruce said.

"So...Why are they really here?" Amanda asked sitting down.

"Excuse me?" Bruce asked.

"Why did you really bring them here? Clearly theres a good reason. You wouldn't bring the Avatar from that Universe here unless there was a reason. Or him for that matter. So something clearly happened." Amanda said making him frown.

"There...Was an incident. Four people attempted to kidnap both of them. They took down Tonraq and Tenzin easily. I was able to stop them because they were unprepared for me. They were placed in prisons designed to contain them." Bruce said.

"Korra I can understand because she's the Avatar. But why him?" Amanda asked.

"Because he's not normal. He's shown to have unique and powerful abilities. And I doubt the ones he currently has shown are all of them. Tonraq's brother tried to take them both but he was refused. We brought them both here...Because we are beyond certain he sent them." Bruce said.

"Ah, so thats why. Why not just arrest him?' Amanda asked.

"He's the leader of the Water Tribe. Can't just arrest him without solid evidence. And they haven't talked yet." Bruce said.

"Hmm. Where did they find him?" Amanda asked.

"In a pod that crashed. This is the only thing they found." Bruce said pulling out the ring.

"Where is this pod now?" Amanda asked.

"It's still there. I can't just take it without it looking suspicious." Bruce said.

"I can." Amanda said.

"I want him to find answers about who he is but I can't do that without it." Bruce said.

"I can do all that if you allow this adoption to go through." Amanda said.

"You realize this is also gonna force them apart." Bruce said looking at the couch where Sean and Korra slept making her smile.

"I think I can work something out. And I can help both of them learn more about their abilities. If what you say is true about him gaining more abilities...I know people who can help perfect his control over them." Amanda said.

Later

"What is this?" Sean asked as he was in a machine.

"We're gonna see if theres more about you than even you know. It won't hurt. Might feel strange though." Amanda said.

"No stranger than Clown who has bad jokes in Gotham." Sean said making her snort before scanning him.

"What is all this?" Amanda asked one of her men.

"Astonishing. Theres metal inside him. Even Tech. I've never seen this kind before though."

"Any way we could get some samples without hurting him?" Amanda asked.

"No. It's completely merged into him. Theres no way to remove it."

"Maybe when he gets older and learns control over it we could. But not now."

"Hmm." Amanda said.

Later

"So this is the Pod?" Amanda asked looking at it.

"Yes. Same Technology thats inside him. As far as we can tell it looks like a suspension chamber. Probably kept him in a state of stasis till he arrived."

"How long till we can start learning more about it?" Amanda asked.

"This is beyond more advances than anything we've ever seen. It's gonna take years."

Sean walked to it before placing his hand on it making it glow.

"What did you do?" Amanda asked before some device came out which she took.

"All I did was touch it." Sean said.

"Hmm." Amanda said pressing a device before a list of individuals appeared. Most were locked and a few weren't. "I wonder." Amanda said.

"What is it?"

"Nothing. Just keep studying this. I wanna check something real quick." Amanda said as she and her son left.

Amanda looked at the list seeing certain individuals.

"I wonder...If someone implanted the skills and abilities of people that are already known and those yet to be known into him. All their skills...None of their weaknesses." Amanda said before seeing Sean reading another book. "That would mean he's from this Universe. So why was he found there?" Amanda asked questioning if something was coming.

Authors Note: And with that Sean is now Adopted by Amanda Waller. I know some people wanted it to be Bruce but honestly thats so over used it's not very unique anymore. So thats why I made a poll and people wanted Amanda. Now Next Chapter we fight our first Villain. Who will it be? Find Out next Chapter. Now Normally this would be the point in time I would reveal the Harem list but I'm gonna keep that a surprise for later since let me be clear. This one is bigger than the last three Legend of Korra harem Stories I've made with some surprising choices both in Dc, Legend of Korra, Last Airbender and Crossover with something else added in since JLU series has tons of potential.
