Melissa arrived with Iruma to the rest of the group. "Sorry everyone, it took a whole hour to use gel to keep his hair flat." It got serious when they needed to bring out the tape.
"That's fine, nice gear though Iruma. Makes you look really manly!" The red head shouted at the boy.
"Thanks! I didn't know how to take it off." Yeah, that was her bad, she still had a few kinks to work out.
"Have you considered just ripping your arms off?" She really hoped the loud guy was joking.
"Actually I didn't, maybe if I reta-"
"No way Iruma-kun. Your arms stay right where they are!" The invisible girl grabbed onto him. "Say, do you like my dress?" It was a silver dress decorated in sparkles. It was actually a bit hard to look straight at her due to how bright it was.
"Yeah, it looks super pretty! You look amazing as always, I think it really matches your eyes." How could he tell? Either way, that seemed to put the girl in some state of ecstasy, judging by the groaning. Aw, young love in action.
"Ah, what about my dress, Iruma?" Uraraka sort of shoved the gir to the side.
"It looks really cool! You're like a star you see in the night sky." Oh, double the action. Nicely done.
"I believe that's almost everyone." Glasses spoke up. "The others should be arriving soon."
"Hey guys." They watched as the yellow hair and the grape haired kid walked in. "Sorry we're late, we got lost. Turns out the map was upside down." The former gave an ashamed chuckle.
"Don't worry about it, Denki. It's a mistake anyone could've made." Yaoyorozu excused with a wave of a hand. "You look incredibly handsome in that suit."
"Oh really? So do you." The guy blinked at his choice of words and slapped his head. "I mean pretty-ah gorgeous-ah beautiful-ah, you're absolutely radiant!" Yaoyoruzo giggled, giving a flush as she got closer to the stumbling boy. "Humana …"
"Come on now, let's enjoy this event. If everyone is here?"
"Present." Earphone girl waved her hand.
"Here." The frog girl followed suit. "Mina's running a bit late, but she'll be joining us shortly."
"Just die alre-" The exploding guy was hit in the gut by the red head. "Let's just get this night over with."
"I am here as well." Todoroki spoke up. She can't believe the sons of the number one AND number two hero were here.
"Alright then, let's party!" The grape shouted … only for alarms to go off. "Iruma, why!?"
"What did I do!?"
"Every time you're around villains show up!" That earned a kick to the face from the invisible girl.
"Just because it's true doesn't mean it's his fault! The Universe just likes to be unfair to my Iruma-kun!"
"Come on guys, do you seriously believe in stuff like the universe having a will and fate?" She was a scientist, that stuff was myth, like the afterlife, and demons.
"Semi accurate." Todoroki spoke. "What we need now is a situation analysis. Jiro, you go to the top with someone else, we'll get a morse code message with flashing lights and your ear jacks."
"I'll go! Bunny-sensei is probably there, so I need to show him I'm okay." Iruma suggested. "I picked up a little morse code when I got stuck on a deserted island for three days." Why was he on a deserted island for three days?
"You'd think smoke messages would be more vital then morse code on a desert island." Why was that the response of the two haired boy?
"I ran out of flint after the second day. I needed to eat somehow." Why was this treated like a normal conversation? And why did it feel like she needed to get this boy away from whatever homelife he currently had?
Jiro sat down, hidden as she jacked in, letting Iruma look into the room. "What do you see?" She asked.
"Bunny-sensei and a bunch of people are tied up, others have guns, and a lot of people look scared." That wasn't good. You'd think they'd be safe, but nope, I-island apparently wasn't safe enough. "I'm gonna signal him." He aimed his phone and turned the flashlight on and off. "I told him we're listening. He should be talking now."
"Alright, listening in." She heard the whispers of the Number one pro. "He's saying the entire island is under lock down. The villains hacked the security. If the heroes try to escape, they'll turn the drones on everyone."
"That explains why Bunny-sensei isn't moving. He could punch his way out of this if he wanted to." That was true. "Okay, I'm telling him we're going to save him somehow."
"Really, you think we can get past all those villains without fighting them?" She knew he was good at dodging, but there had to be a limit somewhere. "Wait, he's saying something else." She heard. "'Stand down, don't fight. We'll figure something out'." She heard him say.
Iruma looked very contemplative, looking at her, then back at All Might. He began flashing some more … wow, now All Might was cursing. "Okay, he didn't stand up, we're good to go."
"What did you say to him?"
"I said if he didn't want us to do anything, stand up and punch people." Wow…that was a bit of a jerk move for such a nice kid…she was actually pretty impressed. "It's up to us to stop the bad guys. Let's head back and plan with the others."
"Sure thing." Huh, she never took Iruma for being a leader, even if he was the vice rep. "Hold on, All Might's saying something else." Please stand down….. "He says good luck."
"So we have full permission from All Might?" Iida asked. It didn't quite sound like the number one hero.
"He even wished us good luck." The boy smiled.
"Well, if Iruma says he said so, then it must be true! He hasn't lied once to us at all." Uraraka summarized. That was a fair point, the boy was honest to a frightening fault.
"Then we must form a strategy." Iida raised a hand to his chin. "Shield, what do you know about the security system on I-island?" He asked her.
"Top floor, need a clearance card, and we'll need my level of tech savviness." She explained. "If my father wasn't in danger this would be so exciting." Why couldn't they meet sane people? However it did force them to carry her along …
"We'll need to divide up a strategy based on skill set and stealth." Would be very difficult. "Bakugo." Iida turned to the boy. "You're clearly not going to listen to anything we try to tell you to do, so just hit the strongest villain you can find."
"Finally, you extras are starting to make sense." That was probably the most amicable the boy would get.
"We'll have to divide everyone as evenly as possible." Their class president chimed in. "Iruma, you, Uraraka, Shield, Mineta, and Iida. You all should try to get Melissa to the top floor as fast and safely as possible."
"Understood, she'll be protected." That was … oddly motivated for Suzuki.
"Hey, hey, hey, quick suggestion..why don't I come along with them? Stealth's my main thing, being invisible and all." Hagakure suggested, and it was a fair point…if only it wasn't weighed down by the girl's obvious jealousy.
"You're going to be with Kirishima, Todoroki, and Bakugo. Find some guards and deal damage." She explained. "You're the only one invisible, you can swoop in since they're humans. Robots would be able to detect you."
"Fine. Just make sure to keep Iruma-kun safe!"
"Ah, Melissa is who needs to be protected." Iruma reinforced. "I'll be fine! I'll punch whatever danger comes our way!"
"I know you will, Iruma-kun~." This wasn't the time for flirting! Show some shame, woman! "I'll be sure to save a dance for you when this is all done!"
"Don't worry, I can't dance."
"Can we focus?" Iida spoke to the group, reminding them of the situation. "I take it the rest of you will be handling the robot situation?"
"Of course, Kaminari, Jiro, Tsu, and I will make sure to keep the path clear. I'll make a few coms so we can keep in contact." She created three, and gave one to him, and one to Todoroki, aka, the ones that would know to make contact if/when things turned south.
Toru growled as they all went ahead. "So what's the game plan?" She asked the boys, none of them her special Iruma-kun.
"Find some shitty villains and kill them all."
"Shield said there was an empty space on the twenty second floor for a garden." Todoroki specified. "We'll make some noise and draw them in."
"We'll be super manly and stop them all!" Right, the three boys were either muscle headed brutes or angry but talented assholes.
"Quiet, there's somebody approaching." She got them to duck into a bush. There were three guys in black armored suits.
Okay, three on four. It didn't matter if they were all adults. They could do this, they just needed to think calm, rationally, and plan out there. "You?" Or Bakugo could show the most confused emotion he's shown since they've known him and blow their cover. So much for stealth.
"Wow, sounds angry." The green haired one with a goatee spoke. "What did you do to that guy Daibo?"
"Nothin, I just met him." The round faced one responded. "He seems like one of those guys you'd piss off."
"Who cares if you know him or not?" The sleazy looking one with freckles smirked. "Let's just light them up and be done with it."
"Midoriya." Bakugo growled, lighting his hands.
"Oh, you know me then?" The man tilted his head. "Wait … you're that kid! The one talented boy in the grade. Damn, if you were my kid who knows, I might have actually stayed."
This was getting uncomfortable, even for her. "Bakubro, is he..?" Kirishima started, but Bakugo cut him off in probably the most 'peaceful' tone he's ever given.
"Every one of you go ahead … I'll take on these three bastards."
"This isn't the time for recklessness Bakugo." Todoroki spoke up, clearly not comprehending the anger this boy radiated.
"Fine, you take care of the shitty villain extras…I'm killing Midoriya." Did…did Bakugo actually come up with a reasonable compromise?
"We're here, get to it." Wolfram spoke up, keeping his gun visible. "Or your little assistant gets it."
"There's no need to keep up the act in words, nobody can see us since you hacked the cameras." Eh, why not have fun? He was already this far in. "It's going to take a while though, we were never told what safe it's in, and they keep the combinations really long for security reasons." Of fucking course they do.
"Boss, the camera's off." Good. "Leave them here, there's a checking account error I need to discuss." That's code for 'shit went down'. Just what he needed … well he was doing this on a day All Might was here, complications were to be expected.
"I'll be right back." He left them, heading down to Hacker's screen, watching a group of five kids move through the building. "Why are they getting so far?"
"Trying to close the doors, but the program is slow. It's meant to be an all at once situation that would make it harder for any villain to escape." Damn it all.
"Then send the robots, we have hordes of them."
"Funny thing, we have another group of kids with that problem." What the.. "And another fighting off one of our look outs."
"They're coordinated…they planned for this." He looked at the screens. "Pull up facial recognition."
"Already did..and it's not good. They're all UA students." Damn it, they must've come with All Might to the expo. "I can manage to seal off floor fifty by the time they arrive, but that might not hold them for long. If they're UA students, who knows what they'll do to a few steel doors."
Wolfram sighed. "Just do what you can, we need all the time we need." And if any of them came up … a few bullets could solve a problem.
