Chapter 5 Team Arrow
A now 14 year old Sean and 13 year old Korra were arriving in Star City with Turok who was now 9 years old.
"Remind me again why does your mom want us here?" Korra asked.
"Ah She thinks theres a turncoat here so she asked me to make sure that doesn't happen." Sean said as they arrived in a limo.
"And she wants us to ask the Green arrow for help." Korra said.
"I doubt he'll disagree once we tell him lives are on the line." Sean said as they arrived at some safe house.
"One thing she never skips out on is making sure these places are decent." Korra said.
"Yup." Sean said.
Later
Beowulf and Sage were in their gear while Turok was in grey robes going by Fang.
"So how do we find them?" Fang asked.
Thats when they heard gunfire in an abandoned wear house.
"That answer your question?" Beowulf asked as they rushed.
Inside
Green Arrow and his team were pinned down by Werner and his new crew.
"This guy is really getting on my nerves." Black Canara said. (JLU version)
"Feeling's mutual." Spartan said before they heard the gunmen scream in pain making them look seeing a Senbon in their necks.
"What the hell?" Wild-dog asked before they saw Beowulf above them.
"Is that who I think it is?" Artemis asked. (Young Justice version)
"Beowulf." Speedy said.
"As in THE Beowulf?" Overwatch asked on the comms.
Thats when Werner tried to escape.
"Going somewhere?" Sage asked in front of him making him gasp in shock.
"What are you two doing here?" Werner asked before a blade went right through his head killing him as he fell forward revealing Beowulf behind him.
"I didn't think he was that dangerous." Sage asked.
"Considering what he always makes I would say so." Beowulf asked before the others showed up.
"Damn." Mister Terrific said seeing his dead body.
"Left me no choice." Beowulf said putting his sword away.
"It's been a while." Green Arrow said.
"Wait you guys know each other?" Speedy asked.
"Who do you think saved Tommy when his father's machine went off?" Beowulf asked taking his hood off as did Sage and Fang.
"Waller's kids." Spartan said.
"We have a problem and my mother figured you could help." Sean said.
"With what?" Speedy asked.
"A turncoat who has very sensitive information. Information that could both put ARGUS secrets at risk and lives. Thats why we're here." Sean said.
Later
The team arrived back in their lair while Korra whistled.
"Nice. You guys don't hold back." Korra said.
"STAR Labs?" Sean asked.
"Yeah they helped out." Oliver said.
Thats when Sean opened a small portal before whistling.
"What are you doing?" Dig asked before something came out.
It was a large Komodo dragon who hissed before running to Sean and rubbed against him making him laugh.
"Good boy." Sean said.
"Is that...A Komodo dragon?" Thea asked.
"Aye. Don't worry he's harmless unless I tell him otherwise." Sean said as he rushed to Thea before rubbing against her making her laugh as she petted him.
"Whats his name?" Rene asked.
"Komodo. I couldn't think of anything that suited him." Sean said making him laugh.
"So what do you know about this Turncoat?" Oliver asked.
"He erased his entire file so not much. I do know he was a low ranking member who most likely felt under appreciated." Sean said.
"Big shock on Waller's end." Dig said making him raise an eyebrow.
"We do know theres gonna be a deal here soon." Sean said.
"Which gives us time to prepare." Oliver said.
"Oliver, Can I talk to you for a sec?" Dig asked leading him away.
"Is there a problem?" Oliver asked.
"I don't like the fact is we're working with Waller's kids. Knowing one the two is Beowulf makes sense she would train her kid as a killer. The other I don't think she knows what she's getting into." Dig said.
"You can't just judge them for who their mother is." Oliver said.
"I'm telling you this is a mistake. Her sons I'm willing to bet are exactly like her." Dig said.
"Just give them a chance. You might be surprised." Oliver said making him sigh.
Later
Sean and Oliver were practicing arrow shots with both getting every shot.
"Not bad. So Amanda hired people to help train you in every field?" Oliver asked.
"Beats learning on a hellish island for 3 of five years." Sean joked making him chuckle. "Yeah I had one hell of an expensive education and training. Korra the same since her teachers were brutal." Sean said.
"How does Korra do what she does?" Oliver asked.
"You know about this other universe we're allied with right?" Sean asked.
"Yeah. Said to have people who have power over the elements with one...Oooh. She's the Avatar." Oliver realized.
"Yup. I met her shortly after she was discovered as the next Avatar." Sean said.
"How does that work exactly? I always got confused by that." Oliver asked.
"Let me explain it this way. There are four nations with currently the Air nation in decline because of the..." Sean tried to say.
"The Hundred year war. I heard about that." Oliver said.
"Yes, so when the Avatar dies he or she is reborn in the next nation in the Cycle. It's always the same. Water, Earth, Fire and Air. It's always going to be in that pattern. And heres the edge she has. She can call on her past lives for guidance." Sean said.
"Call on them?" Oliver asked.
"She's connected to all the lives she lived as in the whole cycle. From the First to the one before her. Avatar Aang and he did the same as well." Sean said.
"Oh, I get it. So if she say has a problem she doesn't know how to handle she can ask them for help." Oliver asked.
"Yeah. So you mind explaining what the hell Diggle's problem is with me?" Sean asked.
"Oh. You noticed huh?" Oliver asked.
"I'm not blind. I know hate when I see it." Sean said.
"He hates you because of your mother. Amanda and some of us have...A shaky relationship." Oliver said.
"You don't have to be nice about it. I know my mother has done some royally fucked up things and I won't deny it. But just because she isn't the best Human being in the world doesn't mean she was a horrible mother. Gave me and Korra a very expensive education and training and she never forced us to do anything we do now. That was our choice. We chose a higher calling with our powers no different than you guys." Sean said.
"I tried to say you weren't like that but he's not convinced. You need to prove it to him." Oliver said before an alert came up.
"What is it?" Sean asked as Felicity pulled up the screens.
"One of the old warehouses is being broken into. No police response since theres nothing there." Felicity said.
"Could be our little turncoat." Korra said.
"Suit up." Oliver said.
Later
Everyone was suited up and ready for action as they went inside.
"Remember we need to ID our turncoat before we do anything." Beowulf said.
"Don't worry we will." Speedy said.
"Unless you're just here to kill him." Spartan said making him frown.
"Don't start." Green Arrow said.
"Dig, that was way uncalled for." Black Canary said.
"I..." Spartan tried to say.
"Shut it. We'll talk about this later." Beowulf said as they made it inside.
Inside they found a group of people armed with heavy artillery.
Thats when they spotted the turncoat.
"Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me." Beowulf said.
"What is it?" Green Arrow Asked.
"I know who our turncoat is. Jason Morgue." Beowulf said.
"Why does that name sound familiar?" Spartan asked.
"It should. Lyla probably brought it up to you on occasion." Sage said.
"Now I remember. This guy talked about murdering civilians who weren't born in the country because he viewed them all as terrorists and illegals. Even when they went through the proper procedures to become legally welcomed in the country." Spartan said.
"And he went to Mom to make it happen but every time she said no because she wasn't a Racist. Extreme and cold sure. But not Racist." Fang said.
"Depends on your point of view." Spartan said.
"Shut it." Beowulf said.
"So you'll pay us with this information and in exchange you want foreigners killed?"
"Every Last one of them. Waller wouldn't listen so I had to do things myself. Only we can make this country pure again." Jason said.
"Fucking bastard." Beowulf said as he showed them a computer before showing them files.
"We gotta move in." Fang said as he created an astral projection of a wolf before it howled and ran right at them.
"AHHHH!" One of the men screamed as it tore right through him.
GA fired an explosive arrow forcing most back.
Jason growled as he took the laptop and ran.
"I got Morgue." Fang said going after him while Spartan followed.
Morgue ran as fast as he can before Fang was in his path making him stop.
"End of the line. Monster." Fang said.
"I'm a monster? These things invading our country are the real monsters. I would have thought a woman like Amanda would gladly help me. Since she's just as evil as they are!" Morgue yelled as Spartan aimed at him from behind.
"Evil? Perhaps. But I consider her a more necessary unlike you who kills for pure slaughter where she does it for a purpose." Fang said making Spartan frown as he pulled the Trigger but the bullet went right past Morgue and hit Fang in the chest making him fall over making him widen his eyes as Morgue laughed before running off.
"TUROK!" Beowulf yelled running to him as he pulled him up before looking at Spartan and glared.
"I...I didn't..." Spartan tried to say before Beowulf blasted him into some shelves.
Later
"YOU HAVE CROSSED THE FUCKING LINE!" Sean roared at Dig.
"It was an accident. It went right past him. I didn't mean..." Dig tried to say.
"SHUT IT! You can have your issues with our mother all you like. I DON'T CARE! But this draws the line. My brother is in a fucking hospital because of you. AND FOR WHAT! Because you think we're exactly like her. NO! I hate what she does. And she knows that. But she raised us to do good. Just because your the worst example of a Human being doesn't make you a bad parent. There have been hundreds of people worse than her and we're good parents." Sean said glaring at him before leaving.
"Go ahead and say it. I screwed up." Dig said as the others looked at him.
"Why do you hate this woman so much?" Curtis asked.
"Amanda doesn't really care about how she does things. Even used me and Lyla on several occasions. I just figured they were exactly like her. I was wrong." Dig said.
"Clearly. You know Amanda is clearly gonna be pissed once she hears this." Dinah said.
"Oh yeah. No doubt." Thea said.
Meanwhile
Sean sat beside his brother's bed as he was out cold.
"You ok?" Korra asked handing him a drink.
"I'm pissed." Sean said.
"I knew the guy clearly had issues because of Amanda but this is a little extreme." Korra said.
"I know he was telling the truth about it being an accident but he still let his anger cloud his judgment. Thats why it happened. Me I'm usually someone who's willing to put my issues aside for the greater good." Sean said.
"And you should." Amanda said walking in seeing Turok and frowned. "I never should have sent him out he wasn't ready." Amanda said.
"He was. Just wasn't prepared for friendly fire. He'll be up in a few hours." Sean said.
"As for Mr. Diggle." Amanda said.
"I still need him. Morgue is still out there." Sean said.
"Morgue is our turncoat? I should have expected that. I knew he was dangerous." Amanda said. (Even she misses an obvious threat if Milo releasing Doomsday is any indication)
"Yeah. Luckily I managed to hit a tracking device on the Laptop before he ran off. I know where he is and Oliver and the others will help out." Sean said.
"And what about Diggle?" Amanda asked.
"For someone like him it's worse to live with your sins than be punished for them. Because the Shame never goes away." Sean said.
"Yeah that sounds worse for him." Korra said.
Later
Once again The team was suited up and ready to take down Morgue.
"Try not to shoot your allies this time." Beowulf said to Spartan who sighed before they went inside.
Only to get attacked by turrets.
"Oh I hate these things." Sage said annoyed.
"We're not going anywhere like this." Black Canary said.
"Sage." Beowulf said making her nod before she created a wave of Lava.
"Whoa!" Wilddog yelled in shock as it clashed with the turrets.
"Like I said. Mom trained us good." Beowulf said as they moved in.
Thats when they found Morgue with a Minigun in hand.
"Don't make another fucking move. Or I swear I'll Kill all of you." Morgue said before yelling as his weapon melted from heatvision from Beowulf.
"Jason Morgue. You are under arrest for stealing classified intel from ARGUS." Beowulf said approaching him not seeing a turret aimed at Sage but Spartan did.
"LOOK OUT!" Spartan yelled pushing her out of the way and took it in the chest making Beowulf widen his eyes before growling at Morgue who looked nervous.
"Go ahead. Kill me." Morgue said making him grin behind his mask.
"I got something worse in mind." Beowulf said as he opened a portal before Komodo rushed out and hissed.
"Whats a little gecko gonna do?" Morgue asked before Komodo started growing in size looking more terrifying as it hissed at him before roaring at him.
"Oh shit." Wilddog said in shock.
"New chew toy." Beowulf said.
"NO! AHHHHH!" Morgue screamed as Komodo bit him before swinging him around wildly.
"That is worse than death." Arsenal said as they helped Spartan up who groaned.
Later
Dig groaned as he was patched up.
"Why'd you do that?" Sean asked.
"I made a mistake and was amending it." Dig said.
"It's a start. But you have to make it up to my brother more than me. You shot him." Sean said.
"I know." Dig said.
Suddenly thats when someone team arrow knew walked in.
"Constantine?" Oliver asked.
"Oliver. Been too long mate." Constantine said before looking at Sean. "And who might you be?" Constantine asked.
"Beowulf." Sean said.
"Ah, so this is the famous one who took the name of a man who fights evil. I figured you'd be older though." Constantine said making his eyes twitch while Korra giggled.
"Oh sure. It's always gotta be someone who's older. Never a young hero." Sean said making most laugh.
"Got a name?" Constantine asked.
"Uh my full name is Sean Noah Ashburn Kruger." Sean said making him widen his eyes for a second.
"Noah? As in the guy who built the Ark? Who gave you that middle name?" Thea asked.
"I barely know anything about my past other than waking up on Korra's universe and meeting her. I have the name from this." Sean said holding up his Dog tags.
"You know theres a saying that people with more than one last name are considered royalty." Felicity said.
"I don't consider myself Royal." Sean said as most but Constantine and Oliver left.
"What is it? I saw you widen your eyes for a second when he mentioned his full name." Oliver said.
"That name sounded real familiar for a second. I don't know where though." Constantine said.
"Familiar how exactly?" Oliver asked.
"I don't know. I've heard a lot of names over the years. But that last one...Kruger. That sounded really familiar to me." Constantine said.
Authors Note: Now things are getting interesting. Why did the name sound familiar to old Constantine? Does he know something? Will we find Sean's origins completely or just partially?
