Chapter 6 The Haunting
A now 15 year old Sean was in the middle of training with Turok using wooden sticks in the Arrow cave.
"Not bad." Oliver said as Turok tried to kick Sean but he jumped before smacking his arm.
"OW!" Turok yelled.
"Thats what you get for cheating. Only these nothing else." Oliver said before Sean hit him again.
"Ok thats it I'm done. I'm more nature than physical fighter." Turok said making Sean chuckle.
"He's never gonna change." Sean said walking off.
Thats when Constantine walked in.
"Constantine? What are you doing back here?" Oliver asked.
"Remember how I said last year the kid's name sounded Familiar?" Constantine asked.
"Course." Oliver said.
"Now I know why." Constantine said making him frown.
Later
"Micheal Kruger?" Amanda asked.
"He was born and raised in the 18th century to the early 19th century. The old stories are this man was considered a true man of God who had a unique ability. He could change the hearts of some of the most cruel men with words alone. And those he couldn't were killed by him in the name of God. Even fought in the Revolutionary war on this rock since he believed in the foundation of independence." Constantine said.
"What does this have to do with my son?" Amanda asked.
"According to the story...He and his whole family were slaughtered in their own home which ended the Family linage. Except for one little thing." Constantine said.
"And that is?" Amanda asked.
"His newborn son mysteriously vanished the same day he was born. All the other bodies were found and located within the house...But him." Constantine said.
"So you think my son is from 200 years ago and remade into what he is now? I think you're drinking too much." Amanda said.
"Oh? Prove my theory wrong. His name alone means God is Gracious or Gift from God. That sounds like something he would call one of his children. And it's also Hebrew. And I can probably guess he has changed the hearts of some pretty bad individuals out there. Deadshot was one if I recall." Constantine said making her frown having no retort since that was true.
Sean had managed to talk Deadshot out of his gun for hire days and now worked for his squad for a fee known as the Wolf Pack. Made of some of the most unique individuals in the world.
"Say I believe this." Amanda said standing up. "How do you prove it?" Amanda asked.
"The old estate Micheal used to own in his day is still standing to this day being taken care of by certain people who are paid to look after it. Lets take him there and see if something stirs in his memory or if something does happen." Constantine said making her frown before looking at a photo of her and her sons making her sigh.
"All right. For a few days since he's on leave right now anyway along with Turok and Korra." Amanda said.
"Good. The more people there the better." Constantine said.
"Meaning?" Amanda asked.
"Uh...Theres a good chance the place is haunted." Constantine said.
"Oh for god's sakes." Amanda said rolling her eyes.
"You of all people..." Constantine said.
"I know all that Magic, Devils, Angels and Fallen angels and Demons are all real. I'm not someone who dismisses something right off the bat. But haunted by what?" Amanda asked.
"That I'm still unclear about. Supposedly whoever killed them was condemned by God or his angels and his soul remains there as punishment." Constantine said.
"You better pray this plays out nicely." Amanda said.
Later
Sean was in the back of a truck as he was reading a report.
"The hell is that?" Rene asked.
"Oh the latest report I got from a friend. Looking for Candidates for my squad." Sean said.
"Squad? Tell me it's not..." Dig tried to say.
"Not task force X. I hated that program and knew there were dangers and flaws in it. Shrapnel was proof enough of that if you recall. Though I can't say he didn't deserve it since he bombed innocent civilians thinking he was in the right just because he thought the Government was corrupted down to the bone." Sean said.
"But it is corrupt." Curtis said.
"All governments have corruptions in them. Self interests and the likes. It's not something that can be helped. Power is easy to corrupt people unless they have an unbreakable will." Sean said.
"Can't argue with that." Rene said as they came to a stop before getting out.
In front of them was a large estate that was clearly very old.
"Wow. Someone was loaded." Thea said.
Sean however narrowed his eyes seeing the place feeling a sense of the place.
"You good?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah...Just feels strange." Sean said as they went inside.
"Wow. Who owned this place?" Curtis asked.
"Micheal Kruger." Constantine said.
"Kruger?" Sean asked.
"Thats why we're here mate. When we first met last year your name sounded familiar to me. Then I finally remembered. This place was home to one of the most influential people the country ever knew. Micheal Nathaniel Kruger." Constantine said.
"Kinda strange I have the name of someone who lived hundreds of years ago." Sean said.
"Thats why we're here. To see if your related to him somehow." Constantine said as they walked around.
"Now don't get your hopes up since I don't know what we're gonna find." Amanda said.
"What? You seriously think I might be related to a guy who was that famous?" Sean asked.
"Life is full of surprised. You should know." Amanda said as they came to his room.
"Whoa." Sean said seeing it was massive before going to the fireplace seeing some wooden heads of five children. Three girls and two boys.
"It would seem Micheal had good taste in art." Amanda said inspecting it.
"Hmm." Sean said before looking at some chest that was very large. "What do we have here?" Sean asked trying to open it but couldn't before his hand turned into technology trying to open it but nothing worked.
"Nothing?" Amanda asked.
"Thats never happened before." Sean said before they left.
Walking down stars they noticed something about the front door showing a special design to it.
"Well, well. The Gates of Hell." Amanda said.
"Purgatory." Sean said seeing Children being held down. "They're being held down by Demons. Trapped from ascending to the Heavens." Sean said.
"Kind of a strange thing for a man of God to have something like this here." Amanda said.
"Well, to be fair Hell is also part of God's will as well. Condemning those who have sinned beyond forgiveness. How God works in strange and mysterious ways." Sean said.
"Oh he does true. Some of his Angels on the other hand though a couple are rather self righteous in the wrong ways and cause problems. Others on the other hand try to see a bigger picture." Constantine said as they went to the kitchen.
"Well, at least we're stocked up." Turok said getting some food ready.
"I'll help with that." Thea said.
"Out of my area. Of the members of the Pack I'm the only one who can cook a five star meal." Turok said.
"It's true. He actually can." Amanda said.
"Really? Ok kid. Lets see what you got." Constantine said.
"Out of my area. Fuck off." Turok said.
"Language." Amanda said.
"Oh, so he can and I can't." Turok said annoyed.
"Wait till you're 13 dude." Sean said.
"Whatever." Turok said.
"So what do you know about this house?" Sean asked Constantine.
"I know the old family was killed off." Constantine said.
"By who?" Roy asked.
"Mr. Crain as they called him. I can't say much since the details are sketchy. But I know he killed Micheal with his Wife and five children." Constantine said.
"Jealousy or insanity or just plain lust for murder?" Turok asked.
"A little of all the above. Micheal himself was respected by almost everyone to the point that People wanted him in charge of the country." Constantine said.
"But something clearly stopped that from happening." Dinah said.
"Yup. Something so unexpected himself that he didn't account for in his whole life from him going further in his life." Constantine said.
"And that is?" Rene asked making Korra smile.
"Isn't it obvious?" Korra asked getting their attention. "He fell in love." Korra said.
"Right." Constantine said.
"With who?" Felicity asked.
"Her name was Amelia." Constantine said.
"What made her so special?" Dig asked.
"I couldn't tell you. Some men are just drawn to certain women in life by nature." Constantine said as Sean looked around before coming to a Portrait.
It was of a woman with long white hair and forest Green eyes.
Looking down he noticed an inscription.
"Amelia Blood." Sean said before looking back at the Portrait again.
"Something wrong?" Amanda asked.
"No...It's just...She looks...Familiar to me." Sean said before walking away as she took a closer look before noticing a smudge on the inscription and rubbed it off.
"Amelia blood...Ashburn?" Amanda asked frowning as she looked at it seeing the same Green eyes as her son before walking away.
Later
As everyone was asleep Amanda was in her room going over some files Sean had on his recruits.
"I assume those are his ideas for the Wolf Pack?" Oliver asked walking in.
"He told you?" Amanda asked.
"He tells me everything. When he knows he can trust someone with a secret he'll tell anything that he knows he's allowed to." Oliver said making her smile.
"Thats one of his gifts. Knowing who he can trust. What do you think of it?" Amanda asked showing it.
"Deadshot I know is in it already. Ted Turner. Met him before he's good." Oliver said before frowning at one name in particular. "Slade?" Oliver asked.
"He managed to change Deadshot. I'm willing to be he can help him out." Amanda said.
"Who are these other two? Johnathan Reznov and Julia McTavish?" Oliver asked.
"Reznov is Russian and trained in the commando section. One of the people in Russia I can work with trained him so I had them meet and they hit it off pretty good. As for Julia she is the same trained by SAS under the guidance of the leader of the division. Makes them perfect candidates for the squad." Amanda said.
"So who do they report to? You?" Oliver asked.
"No actually. Not just me. It's either Me Or Generals Lane and Eiling. Lane picks out the Targets based on intel and Eiling provides training facilities for them to use." Amanda said. (I got other people to Replace Eiling since I've made him the Bad guy a lot more lately and decided to change that for this story)
Sean was in his room asleep.
Thats when the wooden heads of the children started moving to face him.
With one of the Windows opened up.
Thats when the curtains blew before a face pressed against it but there was no one on the other side as something made way towards him.
Something started moving under the sheets before pressing into the pillow beside him.
"Sean, wake up."
"Huh?" Sean asked sitting up but saw nothing making him sigh.
"Fucking hell." Sean said rubbing his face before looking down at the floor seeing bloody footprints. "What the fuck?" Sean asked.
"Find us Sean."
Looking around he got out of bed before walking out to the halls following the footprints.
Arriving outside a room he opened the door before finding some old portrait.
One of which was of Amelia. Another was of a man with short black hair and dark eyes with a kind smile.
Also in the photo was a man who gave Sean a chill down his spine as he had a dark look on his face.
"YOU!" The man yelled.
"WHOA!" Sean yelled jumping back in surprise.
"Sean?" Amanda asked walking to him.
"Jesus Christ." Sean said holding his chest as she looked at the portrait.
"I can tell which one is Micheal. Who's the other one?" Amanda asked.
"I assume Crain and the Fucker just yelled at me screaming YOU. For no reason." Sean said making her raise an eyebrow.
"You sure you weren't sleep walking?" Amanda asked.
"Thats real funny from you." Sean said annoyed.
"I don't see anything off. He does look strange though. I wonder what their relationship was?" Amanda asked.
"I don't know. I heard him scream at me and then you showed up." Sean said.
"Whatever it was it must be gone now." Amanda said.
"You think Constantine neglected some things?" Sean asked.
"Like what?" Amanda asked.
"I don't know. I feel like he didn't mention something." Sean said as he went back to bed.
Next morning
"So you saw bloody foot prints when you woke up and found this. And then the other guy yelled at you?" Thea asked.
"Have we not seen stranger things...In General, not the Tv series." Sean said quickly glaring at his brother chuckled.
"He's got a point." Roy said.
"Who is Crain really old man?" Turok asked.
"All right. I suppose I should be honest about this part than. What do you all know about Lucifer?" Constantine asked.
"The Devil? What about him?" Dig asked.
"Well, He's left Hell on a few occasions to enjoy life with the Mortals and have fun with Women. Then again who wouldn't?" Constantine asked before groaning as Korra punched him in the stomach growling. "I deserve that. As I left off he met one Woman who he actually fell in Love with...And had a child." Constantine said.
"Crain. Thats who it is right?" Amanda asked.
"Right. Crain murdered him because of several reasons. Number one being he couldn't control his darker side and Micheal's light only made it more difficult. They were close at one point." Constantine said.
"So him killing him and his family was beyond his control. He couldn't help it because he couldn't control himself." Dig said.
"Mostly. Theres a bit more to that story.
"Uh guys!" Artemis yelled making them rush to her before finding something written on the wall above the painting of Crain In Blood.
Welcome home Sean.
"What the hell?" Sean asked.
"Who did this?" Amanda asked.
"None of us. This blood looks fresh. And we were all in the same room." Dig said.
"Ok I'm seriously losing it." Sean said.
"What is with this House?" Korra asked.
"Is there something more you're not telling us?" Amanda asked.
"If you reveal everything right off the bat it makes you unnerved. Best to keep certain information to yourself till the time is right." Constantine said making her glare as she and her sons left with Korra.
"I guess you can consider yourself off her Chirstmas Card list." Curtis joked.
"I heard that." Sean said annoyed.
At Night
Sean groaned as he tried to sleep but couldn't as he kept thinking about what he saw on the wall.
"Sean."
"Oh not again." Sean said before getting up and followed the voices.
"Help us Sean."
"Help you with what?" Sean asked before looking at the Chest again trying to open it but couldn't as nothing he did worked.
"What are you trying to do?" Constantine asked walking in.
"Why won't this open?" Sean asked as nothing worked.
"Lets have a looksie." Constantine said before casting a spell on it before a symbol appeared. "Ah, thats why. It's a blood lock." Constantine said.
"Blood Lock?" Sean asked.
"It can only be opened by the blood of whoever placed this on. Or at least share that blood." Constantine said.
"That sounds like Magic. You never said Micheal knew Magic." Sean said.
"I thought it was obvious." Constantine said before Sean glared as he pulled out a gun. "Easy now mate." Constantine said.
"Enough games. Why did you really bring me here? What is going on?" Sean asked.
"It's a complicated situation mate." Constantine said said.
"Find us Sean."
Sean looked around hearing the voices again before rushing off.
Rushing to one certain room he looked around before seeing A little girl in a dress in the hallway.
"Who are you?" Sean asked.
"Welcome home Sean." She said walking away.
"HEY!" Sean yelled rushing out but didn't see her till he turned around seeing her walking to another hall and ran after her.
"The hell do you want from me?" Sean asked before coming to another door and kicked it open.
"ENOUGH GAMES!" Sean yelled before seeing Amelia in a mirror as he slowly approached her.
"Look at you now. You look so much like him." Amelia said.
"Who are you?" Sean asked making her smile as she turned showing her large pregnant stomach.
"We've been waiting for you for a long time hon. Only you can set things right." Amelia said.
"Set what right? How do you know me? Who are you people?" Sean asked making her smile.
"Why ask...What you already know. When you're finally home." Amelia said as she vanished.
"NOOOO!"
Everyone woke up at that before getting their gear.
"What the hell was that?" Speedy asked as the place started moving.
"WHERE ARE YOU BOY!"
"That doesn't sound Good." Arsenal said.
Sean rushed back to his room before finding the Chest and frowned.
"What is it?" Amanda asked rushing in.
"John said this thing won't opened because it has a Blood Lock. Only Micheal's blood can open it." Sean said taking out a Dagger and cut his palm.
"The hell are you doing?" Spartan asked as they rushed in before he touched the chest before it started making noises and unlocked.
Sean pulled it up before he looked inside.
Inside it was a Broadsword with the Christian symbol on it before he took it.
"Micheal's Holy sword. Gifted to him...By the Angels themselves for his services to God and Mankind." Constantine said.
"I'm...His son?" Sean asked.
"Yes. And More than that. Amelia...Is actually the Blood of Christ. When he was wounded some of his blood was used to make a child to carry on his legacy. Angels themselves would guard the bloodline by God's orders. Then one day Micheal met her. But theres also more to him than I told. Micheal...Is also the Son of Lucifer." Constantine said.
"Wait that would mean..." Sean said.
"Crain is Micheal's brother. Isabella, Lucifer's wife named the second one after the Angel Saint Micheal himself. And unlike his brother...He found ways to contain and control his darkness by fighting darkness. Even though they knew who his father was the Angels respected him for his choices to serve a noble cause. Crain however couldn't do the same things as his younger brother did and he was consumed with Jealousy and rage for the attention he always got. Till eventually he couldn't take it anymore and it fully controlled him to what happened 200 years ago." Constantine said.
"He killed his own brother...My mother...And my siblings...In cold blood." Sean said.
"And when it was discovered what happened. Lucifer and the Angels cursed him to remain in this house. But they didn't know the souls of Micheal's children were imprisoned here until it was too late." Constantine said making him glare holding his father's sword.
"Where is he?" Sean asked.
"I KNOW YOUR HERE! NEPHEW!" Crain roared.
Sean glared before vanishing.
"Find him!" GA said.
"No." Amanda said stopping them. "This is his fight." Amanda said.
Sean was at the entrance as he was in his gear without his mask and hood.
"CRAIN!" Sean yelled pulling out his father's sword. "Come out here you gutless freak!" Sean said making him roar in rage as he actually appeared in a smoke like shroud making him glare.
"Finally. We meet again." Crain said.
"How did I escape you last time?" Sean asked.
"Your mother handed you to someone for your protection. But now your within my grasp again." Crain said moving to grab him only for Sean to slash him making him roar in pain.
"You couldn't kill my father fair last time. What makes you think you can kill me?" Sean asked stepping back to the doorway with the gates of hell.
"I KILLED MICHEAL WITHOUT HESITATION!" Crain roared.
"In a moment of Weakness no doubt. You took advantage of that one moment knowing you wouldn't have another chance. Making you nothing but a Coward." Sean said.
"I AM NO COWARD!" Crain roared before the door started moving as the demons moved to grab him. "NOOO!" Crain roared.
"You can rot in the lowest depths in Hell! I'm sure the old man will make sure you're properly punished there!" Sean yelled.
"YOUR COMING WITH ME!" Crain yelled moving to grab him but was out of reach.
"I don't fucking think so. Goodbye uncle." Sean said waving.
"NOOOOO!" Crain roared as he was imprisoned into the doorway sent to Hell.
Thats when he looked seeing the souls of his brothers and sisters float from the door to him.
"Goodbye Sean." They said as they vanished to the heavens making him sigh as a hand was on his shoulder making him face his mother.
"You ok?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah." Sean said.
"So now the place is pretty much Haunted free?" Felicity asked hopeful.
"I'm blowing this place up. Nothing but bad memories." Sean said making an explosive device.
"You sure you wanna do that?" Dig asked before placing it on the wall for 3 minutes.
"That seems pretty sure to me." Dinah said as they rushed out to the cars before driving off as the whole place exploded.
"Why blow it up. It was technically yours." Korra said.
"An end to a dark chapter on my origins. Now I just gotta find out who took me away and made me what I am." Sean said.
"An end to one point in history and the beginning of a new point." Amanda said.
"Yeah." Sean said.
Later
Constantine was at some club looking for someone.
Thats when he found a man with black hair Brown eyes and white skin in a suit.
"Lucifer." Constantine said getting the attention of the Devil himself and more importantly Cain and Micheal's father and Sean's Grandfather.
"Ah, Johnny. To what do I owe the pleasure? Another escaped demon you're needing my help with?" Lucifer asked.
"Actually I'm here to help you this time around." Constantine said confusing him.
"With what exactly?" Lucifer asked.
"Do you remember Micheal's family that day?" Constantine asked making him frown.
"Watch it." Lucifer said in warning.
"I know it's a sore subject but this will brighten you right up. What if I told you your youngest Grandson is still alive?" Constantine said making him widen his eyes.
"Is that supposed to be a joke?" Lucifer asked.
"Not at all." Constantine said pulling out a photo handing it to him making him frown taking it as he saw Sean at his current age.
"How?" Lucifer asked.
"Not sure on the how exactly just yet but we're more than certain someone plucked him from the timeline and made him more...Unique than he already was." Constantine said trying to find the right words.
"Meaning?" Lucifer asked.
"It's better if you see for yourself." Constantine said.
Later
Sean and the others were at the park to relax after this event.
"Well, that was one adventure I can live without. Honestly I got a royally messed up family linage. Being the blood of God and the Devil himself. Who can right now claim that?" Sean asked.
"No one but then again though being related to people like that doesn't make you like them." Amanda said before they heard some man asking for cash saying the end was near.
"Oh good lord." Sean said approaching the man. "You know if theres one thing I can't stand it's a fucking Con Artist." Sean said making the guy frown walking to him.
"What are you gonna do about it? Punk?"
"Oh...Just teach you a lesson." Sean said making him frown before Sean's face looked evil looking making him scream in fright.
"HE'S THE DEVIL! HE'S THE DEVIL!" He screamed tossing the money out and ran as people got back what he took as Sean laughed.
"Grandson of him is more of the term." Sean said amused.
"And right you are." Lucifer said walking to him with a woman with black hair white skin and grey eyes.
"And you are?" Sean asked making him grin.
"What? No hug for your grandpa?" Lucifer asked shocking him.
"Oh." Sean said.
Later
"I honestly tried my very best to help your uncle with his problems. For me helping people on the surface made me a little soft which is part of the reason your Grandmother here fell for me and Vice Versa." Lucifer said making her scoff.
"Honey, I think it was the other way around cause I can put up with you." Isabella said making him and Sean laugh.
"Right." Lucifer said.
"You aren't here to take him are you?" Amanda asked.
"Heavens no. Just wanting to spend time with him after 200 years." Isabella said.
"How exactly did that happen?" Sean asked.
"You're asking the wrong people. We knew you were missing but Crain claimed he had nothing to do with it. At least directly. Someone the day you were born took you and clearly made you a lot stronger than you would have been." Lucifer said.
Thats when Sean spotted Dinah's sister Sara with a cuffed Rip Hunter approaching them.
"Sara please." Rip said.
"Shut up." Sara said.
"Whats going on?" Oliver asked.
"Rip found out Sean was taken out of time 200 years ago and tried to stop it even if it meant having Sean killed." Sara said shocking them.
"Excuse me?" Amanda asked.
"Look...He is placed out of time. Therefore he's an anomaly. It has to be corrected. As unfortunate as it is..." Rip tried to say.
"Your no different than the Time Masters." Sean said shocking him.
"I am nothing like them." Rip said.
"You tried to appeal to them to change the time code as human beings and they said no. Only difference is though is that you were only doing it to save your own family. And here I am changing history for the better and yet you want me dead." Sean said.
"I...It's not that simple." Rip said.
"Why do you really want to stop whoever saved him? What is it you truly desire?" Lucifer asked with his little gift to make him spill.
"To get back at god for not saving my family." Rip said.
"Ah, I see now. You wanna stop whoever took him so you can wipe out my father's linage on his mother's side just so you can get even in your view." Lucifer said chuckling. "I think I'll kill you now." Lucifer said grabbing his throat.
"Lu. Don't even think about it. Thats getting him off easy. Death is a release not a punishment. Even if it is sending him to hell." Isabella said making him smirk letting go.
"Perhaps you're right." Lucifer said as Amanda faced Rip.
"I'll deal with you later." Amanda said.
Lucifer however frowned knowing someone was behind them and saw his older brother the Angel Amenadiel.
"Hello, Lucifer. Isabella." Amenadiel said.
"Amenadiel. Always a pleasure. I know why your here." Isabella said.
"Let me guess. Wants me to join the Angels." Sean said.
"Figured that out pretty quick." Amenadiel said impressed.
"I'm one of the smartest people around. My answer is mostly no. But if needed when absolutely required I will help out." Sean said making him smirk.
"Like father like son. I'm still amazed somehow Lucifer raised Micheal so well and his traits passed down to his son." Ammenadiel said making him snort.
"I'm gonna take that as a compliment." Lucifer said.
Later
Rip was placed in a cell for the time being as Sean was in front of him.
"I honestly thought we were friends. But I guess when you see an opportunity you'll betray anyone when you can for your own gains. How you ended up with your family now is beyond me. You use people for your own gains." Sean said leaving.
"Sean...I'm sorry...Really." Rip said.
"Tell it to someone who believes your lies." Sean said leaving making him sigh.
Authors Note: Holy lord! This was a huge amount of twists and turns. Sean is the Grandson of Lucifer as well as the Blood of God himself. He avenged his family from the actions of his uncle and now things are going to get very interesting. Now as I promised. Here is the Harem List.
