Wolfram watched the body hit the floor. "Can't believe he really thought we'd get him out." Arms dealers, you only kept people if they served future use, morons. He heard a sniffle, looking at the crying girl standing there. "Aww what's wrong sweety, so caught up in your penthouse you've never seen the real world?" Eh, he had time, he needed to move to David anyway. This shit was too good for just one copy. "That people you love betray you and everyone dies in the end? Oh how the mighty fa-"
"Shut up." The boy was seconds away from caving Wolfram's own skull in, only stopped by the fact they were inside of a metal building. A giant pillar launched the boy up, but didn't crush him. Like an animal the boy just grabbed the side and flipped himself over. "Why did you do that!? There was no reason to kill him!"
"The less people alive the less I have to split the money with, kid!" He smirked. "It's business, but you're probably too young to have ever had a job." Wolfram needed to move closer, then he could make his getaway.
"I'VE HAD OVER HUNDREDS JOBS EVER SINCE i WAS FOUR!" The boy rushed at him, as Wolfram began using a mix of metal and bullets to try and counter that high speed movement he had. "I've been used as live bait for six years until my parents realized the only thing I can attract at sea are sharks that are just too annoying to deal with!" It wasn't hitting, but he kept enough distance, so the boy could do nothing but watch. "I've dealt with people who couldn't care less about my life, but they never, ever have treated life as wasteful as you do!"
"Then I guess you're just a useless moron who can't do anything right and will never make a buck for yourself." He smirked.
"I've been called many things, and some of them are true. I'm a moron, an idiot, and I don't know how to use my phone!" He still kept dodging. "But the one thing I've never been in my life is USELESS!" Crap, this kid actually had some skill. Good thing there were ways to exploit heroic idiocy.
"Hey, you're a UA high kid right? Then try and save her!" He let off a few shots at the girl. The boy took the bait, running and shoving her out of the way. He used the opening to grab David. "I guess this is the end, so long!" He gave a mocking waved as he vanished, using the metal to create a shield and bore a hole into the wall.
"You bastard, I won't let you get away with this." Shield growled.
"You won't have much of a choice." He created some binding. "We have ways to convince you-" He could hear thuds. That was a solid ten meters worth of steel. "Fucking kids, they always one up the next generation, don't they?" He began to walk, he needed distance.
"BASTARD! BASTARD! BASTARD!" Iruma created dent after dent as he tried to tunnel his way though, but he wasn't making good progress. "I won't let you get away!" He dug his way through, it just seemed endless at this point.
"He … took him." He paused his attempts, turning to Melissa. "He took Papa … who did all those things." Today wasn't a good day. He ran over and grabbed her.
"Hey, it'll be okay." He tried to reassure her. "We just need to free the heroes, we can save him."
"He..he still did all those bad things, he hurt everyone, you, your friends, Sam, he was.." Melissa cried. "It's so bad! My Papa…he's a villain.."
"Your dad didn't do anything." He tried to reassure her. "You heard him, he thought they were actors. He was going to scare them and steal something at worst."
"It still got people hurt…he's still done all.."
"Does that mean you're not going to care about him anymore?" He asked her. "Do you want to forget about your dad? Do you want him to fade from your memory until you can't remember his face?"
"No … we had so many good memories." She cried. "He cared so much." That was more than enough reason to remember him. "I don't want him gone …"
"If he makes you happy, then I'll make sure to save him." Iruma frowned. "Listen, I know you're hurt, but I need you to go do computer stuff. Free everyone and shut off security." He pleaded. "That's all you have to do …"
"And what about Papa." She stopped crying, looking scared still.
"Leave him to me. I'll save him." He stood up, looking at the door. "They're too high up to run away down. I'll just climb up." Beware Metal Mask, Kettie is done being nice to you. "ENERGY SUIT…" He grabbed the ground, using enough power to dig small rivets into it, ignoring the pain. "WOLF MAN RUN!" And he dashed.
Hacker took another bite of the bagel. Sure he could be looking at cameras, but it was so close to the endgame it didn't matter. Free good tasting bagels. "Hacker, come in." Oh shit, go time. "Keep an eye out for a blue haired maniac. Almost blew my head off and he's probably trying to chase me."
"On it." He looked around, trying to catch a glimpse at whatever brat was trying to interfere now of all times. All the other kids were on the verge of getting caught, trapped, or killed…except for that one group with the explosion guy, but drones were coming their way anyway, so it should be no problem.
"I'm not seeing anything so fa-" A flicker on camera five. He focused on the cameras in the area, narrowing his vision. All it did was show this blur making its way through. "-How fast was this maniac, cameras can barely keep track."
"That would probably be him. I don't care how, just stall." Thank you for the lack of specifics. Gave him more options to work with. This is why working with Wolfram was the best.
"Alright..he shouldn't..what the fuck?" The kid was running across the walls on all fours like he was some sort of wolf. Super freaky, he looked like he would devour anything in his path. "Boss, he's running on the walls, it'll be about five..maybe even two minutes until he reaches you."
"More than enough time. Turn whatever drones you have left on him, I'm making my way to the chopper now."
"Oka-wait a minute, what about me?"
"Look, that kid had enough power to put dents inside of my walls, and probably even more if he pushed himself. I can either break you out of prison after some careful planning, or you can try booking it with that guy between us."
He gazed again at the furious boy, a ravenous mark in their eyes. "Just do it quick, we both know prison food sucks." Leave it to him to carry this entire team. Did he get the pot at the end of the rainbow for all his troubles? Nope, he was just the head grunt. The prick better be grate-
TWACK! Something hit him across the head, and he saw a small glimpse of long blonde hair before his vision went black. "I took down a villain…I can be a hero without a quirk! Why does this day have to be half good and half bad!?" Fuck if he knew crazy girl … fuck if he knew …
Elecplant was a bit pissed at the moment. Getting caught up in this snare while goons stood with guns, robots armed with turrets. She couldn't do jack shit either, or else a hostage would be in trouble. I-island was supposed to be a vacation spot!
It was a good thing Denki was off with friends instead of a situation like this, that would warm her heart. "Damn it, he actually went off on his own, after I told him explicitly not to!" All Might said, a bit pissed off. "Damn it, Young Suzuki, since when are you this reckless!?"
"Hey, quiet down number one!" A guard shouted, a sadistic grin on his face. "Last I checked you're outnumbered and we have both weaponry and hostages on our side." He aimed it at a child, adoring All Might's growls. "So unless you want to let a kid's head go boom, I suggest you pipe down and accept the fact you lo-"
"Security System: Offline. Have a lovely day."
The robots shut down as their weapons dropped. All Might slowly stood up and stared at the man, still wrapped up. "I'm really mad at my student and I'm not in the mood … my ultimatum is to drop your weapons and surrender, or try and pull a trigger and see which of us is faster … your call." Even trapped the man had some intimidation few could pull off.
"...Fine…" The man dropped his weapon, right before Captain Celebrity punched him right in the face, and held his hands up, forcing all the villains into the wall with that weird quirk of his. Since when can 'flight' do that?
"Haha, all part of the plan." Bullshit, this was dumb luck and he knew it. "Okay people let's strategize, there's an entire tower to cover."
"I'm going to the roof, a gut feeling tells me that's where it's about to head down." All Might walked off, a steam of anger wafting off him. "Celebrity, keep this room secure and safe."
"You got it, number one."
"Elecplant, find the rest of the students of 1-A that took a tour here." So there were other students? Well they must have pulled a group budget or something, taking their money so they could plan-SHIT DENKI!
It was supposed to be an easy job. Sure, a getaway pilot for villains didn't sound like the most glamorous career choice, but business was always booming, so he never went to sleep hungry. And this may have had All Might involved, but they took multiple assurances he wouldn't be a problem.
Wolfram came bursting through the door, holding a bound man. "START IT UP! NOW!" That was a sign something had gone horribly wrong. "Hurry up, hurry up, hurry the fuck up! That maniac is going to get here any second!"
"I thought you said All Might was secure!" The engine was starting as soon as he could.
"Wrong maniac!" He didn't get the chance to ask who, as a burst through the roof answered for him.
"METAL MASK!" Shouted a blue haired kid, crawling out of the ground with a savage look on his face. "GET BACK HERE SO I CAN PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!" Yeah, he'd be terrified too.
"You really don't know when to quit, do you kid?!" Wolfram shot as many metal pillars at the boy, who seemed to dodge it effortlessly.
"I'm getting it up now!" The heli slowly began rising. Hopefully this would deter the kid who seemed to only be good at punching things.
"ROCKET MAN!" The jump that went beyond normal limits proved him wrong. "I'm saving Melissa's dad and taking you down!"
"You're doing neither you brat!" Wolfram took a few shots. They didn't hit, but it sent the boy off course. "His heart is black and I'm never letting go!"
"Who cares what color his heart is?! He makes Melissa happy, so I'm going to do whatever it takes to bring him back to her!" The maniac still kept it up, running across the pillars and actually grabbing ahold of the chopper. "You won't get away!"
"Seems like an awful lot of trouble for one criminal! Sounds like being a hero isn't a smart life decision!" Wolfram got out his gun and started firing, but the brat, SOMEHOW, still managed to dodge while hanging on.
"I've never been smart, just determined recently!" The boy got on, throwing a punch at the villain and sending him into the wall. "Shield, are you okay?"
"You shouldn't have…I'm not worth it.."
"I don't care if you're worth it! Somebody who cares about you still wants you in her life! Don't let one bad decision ruin that for her!"
"Sorry kid, but it's too late." Wolfram's voice came out, looking wobbly. "That decision will haunt this family forever."
"So you can take a punch." The boy growled. "I'll hit you harder."
"Not if I use this little thing." The boss put on a strange helmet. "Now let's see what … I can …" The boss stopped talking. He riskily looked at him instead of the air, watching a grin form. "Power … power power power. I can feel it flowing!" This didn't sound good. "Now you're all dead!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Shit, this day just kept getting worse! "Help has arrived, because I AM HERE!"
