Chapter 11 World's finest
Its been a couple weeks since the Great White Incident with the Shark blowing up and the Mayor being sent to prison for 10 years.
Now though everything was pretty calm in Gotham again.
With one exception.
An Antique store was robbed by the Joker and Ecco.
"All this and the Joker takes one lousy statue." Bullock said.
"And since word is he's desperate for cash these days." Gordon said.
"Does anything the Joker do ever make sense?" Beowulf asked with Batman coming out of the Shadows with him as they inspected the only thing that was taken.
"I guess the night brings out all the freaks." Bullock said before Beowulf aimed a gun at his face making him gasp as he backed up and hit a shelf before an antique vase fell on his head knocking him out.
"You planned that out almost too perfectly." Batman said amused.
"Learned from the best. So what was taken exactly?" Beowulf asked Gordon.
"A Jade dragon statue. Worth at least a hundred Grand. Doesn't make sense." Gordon said as Batman took a piece that was left from the robbery.
"Maybe because theres more to the statue than meets the eye." Beowulf said as Bullock came to and glared.
"Stupid freak." Bullock said.
"At least I have a love life unlike you. When was the last time you got laid?" Beowulf mocked making him growl trying to slug him before he side stepped and ran into an assortment of antiques breaking them a he and Batman left.
"Thats coming out of your pay for the next year." Gordon said making him growl.
Later
Sean and Bruce were going over the Jade they took as Korra walked in.
"The Laughing dragon I think it was called. Everyone says it's cursed." Korra said.
"Why do you say that?" Sean asked.
"Because for some reason everyone who ever owned the damn thing always died a horrible death years later." Korra said.
"Like Brutal death or like slow and agonizing?" Sean said.
"Slow and Agonizing." Korra said.
"And I can tell you both why." Batman said going over the scans. "This so called Jade is emitting low level Radiation." Batman said.
"Radiation...Oh my god. Don't tell me thats what I think it is." Sean said annoyed.
"It's Kryptonite." Batman said.
"You mean that stuff Superman is vulnerable to?" Korra asked.
"I think I can guess what this is about. Joker plans to kill Superman for a price." Sean said.
"I think it's about time for all of us to head to Metropolis." Batman said.
Sean and Korra were in their home getting packed up.
"Doesn't Lois live in Metropolis?" Korra asked.
"Oh yeah. I almost forgot about that. It'll be nice to see her after 5 years." Sean said as Tim walked in.
"So you guys are heading to the big City?" Tim asked.
"Yup. And I got business there anyway along with Bruce." Sean said before someone else walked in.
"I'm going with."
Sean turned seeing a woman about Korra's age with brown skin black hair and green eyes. She also had Large breasts and a bubble butt wearing a black top and Red Skirt with sandals on.
"So the Jungle girl wants to see the big city?" Tim teased before yelping as she grabbed him by the throat.
"Don't...Call me that." She said threateningly.
"Mowgli. Enough." Sean said making her let go.
This was Mowgli. A girl Sean and Korra found 3 years ago in the Jungle during an assignment and brought her back home with them. It took a while for her to adapt to life outside the Jungle but she was pretty much used to it by now. Only thing she hated was being called the Jungle girl by Tim every time.
"Yeah sure why not. Not gonna trust you two to be alone with Tim's antics." Sean said amused making him look sheepish.
Meanwhile
Lex Luthor the richest man in Metropolis was reading the Newspaper about Superman saving the President which pissed him off.
"Favorite son my ass." Lex said before pulling out his phone. "Mercy, I'm coming out start the car." Lex said.
"Right away Lex." Mercy said cleaning the car before someone had a gun with a blocking glove before firing it at her face knocking her out.
Once Lex Came down he failed to notice his little body guard was different as he got in.
"The Office...Now." Lex commanded.
"Right away Jackass."
After the door shut Lex knew something was wrong.
"Uh...Mercy?" Lex asked before his driver appeared as Ecco.
"Sorry. But she had a little accident." Ecco said driving like a nutcase.
"OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR!" Lex roared.
"Sorry but no. You have an appointment." Ecco said before spotting Joker lift his pant leg up making her cheer before stopping and made Lex hit his head as Joker got in.
"Lexy, old Kid. Do I have a deal for you." Joker said.
"What is this about?" Lex asked.
"I sense we are kindred spirits, you and I. Oh there are differences to be sure, like hair." Joker said making him mad (HA!)
"Get to the point." Lex said.
"We've both had run ins with caped meddlers. Which is why I am here." Joker said.
"Go on." Lex asked.
"Pay me 1 billion dollars and I'll kill Superman." Joker said making him scoff.
"What makes you think you can kill a man who's like a god and yet can't handle one mortal and someone who names himself after a Legend?" Lex asked.
"Have you not seen what that kid can do? He's not squeamish when it comes to taking a life. And theres nothing mortal about Bats. But I know your Flyboy's one Weakness." Joker said pulling out a case showing the Kryptonite Dragon making him raise an eyebrow.
"You know I can't be connected to this." Lex said.
"Then we have a deal?" Joker asked making him smirk.
"Oh yes." Lex said shaking his hand.
Later
At Metropolis Airport Sean's Private Jet had arrived.
Outside the Press was waiting along with Lois Lane and Clark Kent AKA Superman.
"It's been a long time since I saw Sean. Wonder how he looks." Lois said.
"You know him personally?" Clark asked.
"Sure. Our Parents are in the Government. My Dad is a four Star General and his mother runs multiple parts of the Government. Haven't seen him and Korra in five years I wonder..." Lois tried to say before Sean and Korra came off first making her blink before grinning. "Oh wow." Lois said making him smirk.
"You know he's 17 right? Are you a cradle robber?" Clark teased.
"Ha ha ha. He'll be 18 in a month." Lois said as she started powdering her nose.
"Lois?" Sean asked making her face him.
"Sean. You look good. Hey Korra." Lois said making her smile. "Oh this is Clark Kent. He's from Smallvile. You know corn and that stuff." Lois said making him scoff.
"You haven't changed at all. Pleasure." Sean said shaking his hand.
"Likewise. So what brings you all to Metropolis?" Clark asked.
"A business deal the two of us have with LexCorp." Bruce said.
"But we still got time before that. How bout the two of us catch up?" Sean asked making Lois smirk.
"Sure." Lois said making Korra grin.
Later
"I still can't believe you made the biggest company in the world 2 years ago." Lois said as she and Sean were at an expensive restaurant. She was dressed in a Black Backless dress with the front ripped down showing her cleavage and Navel making him smile.
"What can I say? I'm full of surprises. So how bout you? Having an exciting life as a reporter?" Sean asked making her giggle.
"In a lot of ways actually. Things have gotten interesting since Superman showed up." Lois said.
"Am I detecting some annoyance in that beautiful voice of yours?" Sean teased making her grin.
"Well...I tried to work things with him but sadly they just didn't work you know. Too much work for him to do and not enough for personal time. Not that I blame him since he's a good hero." Lois said.
"What about Beowulf?" Sean asked making her smirk.
"Now thats a Hero I would love to interview. A man who only kills when required and not because he wants to. Thats the kind of hero who knows what to do what he does unlike some who just want to kill out of hatred." Lois said.
"True. And most of the guys he saves end up working for me to start over." Sean said.
"Oh yeah thats right. So how long you gonna stay?" Lois asked.
"A while. I ain't leaving so soon. Besides. Honestly...I got plans for the place." Sean said making her smile.
"Trying to outdo Lex now?" Lois asked.
"Maybe." Sean said standing up before taking her hand to the dance floor.
"So what about you and Korra? I know how close you two are. How she feel about this?" Lois asked.
"Would you believe me when I say she's what you call the sharing type." Sean said.
"Oh really? I assume because she swings both ways." Lois said making him raise an eyebrow. "I clearly saw the signs from those photos online." Lois said making him chuckle.
"Fair enough. Yes. And It's hard to say no to her of all people." Sean said making her smile.
"Well lucky I'm also a sharing type in this regard." Lois said as they danced.
Later
Out in the middle of nowhere was a small drone that started climbing up a mountain.
Not far away was an outpost owned by LexCorp.
"As you can see the Wayne-Lex T-7 Can traverse any terrain. Never losing sight of it's ultimate Target" Lex said.
Soon it reached the top before picking up it's target.
"Very impressive." Sean said.
"Well, this is a three way company project so success was obvious." Lex said.
"These robots are gonna revolutionize unmanned space travel." Bruce said.
"Actually, there may be a use for them closer to home." Lex said making Sean frown.
Leading them to a another room they saw weaponized versions of them.
"The Joint Chiefs have shown great interest in them. It doesn't take much imagination to envision these robots on the battlefield." Lex said.
"Oh one small problem." Sean said.
"And that is?" Lex asked.
"I won't allow it." Bruce said.
"What?" Lex asked.
"I don't like guns." Bruce said.
"And I don't think he needs to say why some years ago." Sean said.
"Don't we both have a say in this?" Lex asked.
"Technically no. Since this project was started under Bruce's company...He has the finally say. Sorry. No imagination on his part." Sean said as they went in an Elevator seeing his annoyed look.
"You enjoyed that too much." Bruce said.
"I don't like work like this being twisted for war and Profit." Sean said.
"Nor do I." Bruce said. "So how did your date go with Lois last night?" Bruce asked.
"Good. By the way. I overheard one of the Mob bosses ended up in the hospital...Laughing his Ass off." Sean said making him frown.
"Have plans tonight?" Bruce asked.
"Nope." Sean said.
Later
At come club was a large number of people.
When an old criminal Batman was familiar with was seen thats when the glass above them broke shocking him as Batman, Beowulf and Sage were seen.
"Hello...Binko." Beowulf said making Binko shake knowing he was in deep shit.
"We heard your boss Carlini's been replaced. We need to talk." Batman said.
Thats when one of the thugs pulled out a gun.
Only to scream in pain as it twisted around him from Sage using Metal bending.
Thats when everyone else ran in fear as Binko tried to run but a knife was thrown into his leg making him scream in pain.
And then Beowulf pulled him up and shoved him into a wall.
"Last time you got off due to a technicality and ran since I was gone. This time your not going anywhere." Beowulf said making him shake.
"What do you want from me?" Binko asked.
"Wheres Joker?" Batman asked.
"Who knows? Making Ha HA with that bitch of his...AHHHH!" Binko screamed as Beowulf twisted his arm. "I SWEAR I DON'T KNOW! I LEFT WHEN THEY SHOWED UP! I DON'T WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM!" Binko screamed in pain.
"Thats enough." Superman said grabbing him.
"Back...Off." Beowulf said making him flinch.
"You don't wanna piss him off more than he already is. This guy sold a 13 year old girl to a predator and got off on a technicality from the Warrant." Sage said making him frown.
"Is that true?" Superman asked.
"Don't listen to that whore!" Binko yelled before screaming as Beowulf lifted him up before slamming his back on his knee. "AHHHHHHH!" Binko screamed in agonizing pain.
"I consider this a better punishment for you not to use your legs anymore for the pain you caused. There are worse punishments than death." Beowulf said.
"What are you three even doing here?" Superman asked before he started using X-Ray vision on them. "You three?" Superman asked before Superman was grabbed by Beowulf.
"Did we give you permission to shove your nose where it don't belong?" Beowulf asked.
"Sorry. I guess it makes sense now on that. Why are you really here?" Superman asked.
"The Joker is here. Once we have him we'll go." Batman said.
"You think I can't handle one little clown?" Superman asked before Beowulf pulled out the piece of Kryptonite making him groan.
"He's got 20 more ponds of this where it came from. And it doesn't take much does it?" Beowulf asked putting it away as he groaned before seeing they were gone.
Later
Superman arrived back in his home before getting out of his suit as the phone rang and answered it.
"Hello?" Clark asked.
"Hi. I just wanted to let you know I'll be in late tomorrow. I'm having breakfast with Sean and Korra to catch up." Lois said.
"Isn't that special." Clark teased.
"Am I detecting disapproval?" Lois asked amused.
"Well he's 10 years younger than you." Clark said before noticing something on his suit.
"Age is just a number. Besides he's almost 18 now anyway. I gotta go. You can count sheep or whatever you farm boys do." Lois said hanging up.
Clark picked up a tracker making him widen his eyes.
"You know my secret." Sean said outside surprising him. "Now I know yours" Sean said vanishing.
"Touche." Clark said.
Days Later
Lois was at her desk finishing a report when Sean and Korra walked in.
"And not a moment too soon." Korra said.
"Still up for that date?" Sean asked.
"Sure. Just give me a quick minute with the chief." Lois said running off.
"Always eager. Even when we were kids." Sean said making Clark smirk.
"Do tell." Clark said.
"So you have anyone since you two didn't work?" Sean asked.
"My old Ex Lana and I actually. So any luck finding the Comedian?" Clark asked.
"You do realize theres actually a hero named the Comedian right?" Sean asked.
"There is?" Clark asked.
"Yup." Korra said.
"As for the Joker no. Three days and not so much as a green hair." Sean said.
"Well, you have been dividing your time between Lois and Beowulf." Clark said.
"I can make copies of myself. How else do you think I have a good alibi when shit like this happens." Sean said as Lois came out.
"Let's go." Lois said as they left.
"See ya." Korra said.
Later
The three were looking at the city during the night time.
"Gotham's got nothing here." Korra said.
"And yet I hear crime is nearly down to a low standard since Beowulf and Sage came out." Lois said making them grin.
"Oh yeah. Streets are getting cleaned up and Mob bosses are started to vanish into thin air." Sean said.
"And all thanks to your little friend eh Kruger." Joker said appearing which surprised them before his thugs rushed out.
One tried to hit him from behind but Sean dodged before kicking him back while Korra punched another.
"I see he's probably taught you a thing or two." Joker said grabbing Lois who screamed as she was shocked by him.
"Arrogant fuck." Sean said.
"Ouch. That actually hurt." Joker said actually offended.
"This will hurt more!" Korra yelled throwing a tray at his face.
"YIKES!" Joker yelled dodging.
Thats when the thugs started shooting at them but Sean and Korra used a table to block most of it before throwing it at them making them bolt onto a blimp.
"It's been a pleasure Kruger. Till next time." Joker said laughing making them frown.
"I so hate that clown." Korra said.
Soon enough the Police arrived as did Superman.
"Great, now Gotham is sending us their wackos. We'll get her back Mr. Kruger." Turpin said.
"Thank you." Sean said as he left.
"You do realize she's just bait." Korra said.
"I'll be careful." Superman said.
"Careful isn't good enough. Just because he's Human doesn't mean he's not dangerous to someone like you. Thats been proven before." Sean said.
"True enough. But I got something for this." Superman said flying off.
"And off we go." Korra said making Sean grin.
Later
Superman was in a Lead suit heading to where Joker said he'd be in one of Luthor's buildings. (I'm surprised he didn't consider Luthor was behind this sooner)
Busting through the place he met the Joker who grins.
"More Powerful than a Locomotive. And Just about as subtle." Joker said as Superman stepped up. "I see you've worn your Sunday best." Joker joked.
"Where is she?" Superman asked.
"Forget about Lois. Feast your eyes on this." Joker said pulling out half of the Laughing dragon believing it would work.
However it didn't making Superman smirk which shocked him before getting grabbed.
"Lead. Now where is she?" Superman asked.
Joker led him to where Lois was seeing her tied up on some hook.
"I don't understand. I had it all planned so perfectly." Joker said as Superman walked to her. "Oh thats it." Joker said.
"What now?" Superman asked before he got shot with Acid.
"I forgot to use the Acid. Silly me." Joker said before multiple explosion went off. "What the?" Joker asked.
"It's Batman, Beowulf and Sage. They're here!" Ecco yelled.
"WHAT!" Joker yelled in shock running off.
Not too soon they arrived before seeing the Kryptonite which Sage used Lava Bending to send it far down and melted it while Incasing it in the hardest material down there possible.
"What did I say?" Beowulf asked Superman.
"You made your point. He's smarter than he looks." Superman said as Beowulf cut Lois down catching her.
"Thank you. I don't suppose any of you could give me an exclusive when this is over?" Lois asked making him look at her raising an eyebrow.
"Your life was just threatened and your asking for an interview?" Beowulf asked.
"I'm a Reporter." Lois said making him scoff in amusement.
"You'll never change.' Beowulf whispered.
"What?" Lois asked.
"Nothing. Let's get Joker." Beowulf said as they rushed up.
Arriving in the control room they found him and Ecco.
"YOU!" Joker yelled annoyed.
"Miss me?" Beowulf asked before he threw down a bag of marbles.
"Consider this a goodbye present brat." Joker said running off.
"He's gotta be joking." Superman said before they started hitting each other and blew up.
"Grenades." Sage said.
"Expect the Unexpected." Batman said as they left.
Outside the whole place exploded when they got out.
"Luthor's not gonna like this." Lois said amused.
"Hmm." Beowulf said.
Later
"Aww don't worry hon. You still got another shot at Superman." Ecco said.
"One Problem. Bats and those brats are here. Now it's gonna be even more difficult." Joker said.
Thats when the place they had was shot up making Ecco scream as they took cover.
And then Luthor and Mercy walked in.
"Joker!" Lex yelled.
"Eh Heh. Honestly Lex I feel really bad about all this. But it wasn't my fault." Joker said.
"Then who's fault is it's?" Lex asked.
"Look. My plan was absolutely perfect. I had Superman right where I wanted him." Joker said.
"So what went wrong?" Lex asked.
"Take a guess. It involves one Bat and two certain brats." Joker said shocking him.
"Batman, Beowulf and Sage are here?" Lex asked.
"How was I supposed to know they'd show up. I thought I was the only one who knew the Laughing Dragon was solid Kryptonite." Joker said. "Look I still got half of it. But the price just went up for this job." Joker said.
"Unacceptable." Lex said.
"How long do you think it's gonna be till they connect the dots and find out you're involved?" Joker asked making him frown.
"Deal with this and then we'll talk about...Doubling your price." Lex said. (Yeah right)
Later
Lex was asleep in his penthouse room before the windows were kicked down making him gasp seeing Beowulf in who snarled at him before Blood Red Wings appeared behind him.
"Luthor...I know your behind this little...Attempt on Superman's life." Beowulf said.
"I don't know what your talking about." Lex said as Mercy was behind him with a gun aimed at him.
"You really think thats gonna work on me?" Beowulf asked as Sage had Water above her before turning into Ice spikes making her gasp.
"I'd think this through carefully honey." Sage said.
"If the Joker tries again...I'm coming for you...For your head." Beowulf said as they vanished and the ice turned to water splashing Mercy making her sigh.
"Call the Clown. We have to deal with this." Lex said.
Later
"So...You're leaving?" Clark asked Lois who smiled.
"Sean offered me to be his Secretary for the Metropolis branch of Global Tech." Lois said.
"So it's that serious for you two huh?" Clark asked making her smirk.
"What can I say. He's very sweet, charming. Not to mention he takes everything seriously but still has time for people around him. So it adds to the appeal." Lois said before White told them that a ship was sinking.
Clark of course snuck off to save it while Lois was getting facts.
While this was going on Sean was doing some work outs in his private gym as Mowgli walked in the room in the room.
"Mmm." Mowgli said seeing his bare chest and hard muscles. "I like." Mowgli said as she licked her lips.
"Hmph!" Sean said getting up rubbing the sweat off his face with a rag.
"Hmm?" Mowgli said looking outside seeing Joker's blimp calling him out to Hobbs bay.
"The fuck is he doing now?" Sean asked before getting his gear on.
"Shouldn't you call Korra from Patrol along with Bruce." Mowgli asked.
"No need. They probably already know." Sean said as he grew wings and flew off.
"Oh my angel." Mowgli said loving when he did that.
Arriving at the bay he flew down to Joker.
"Wings? Seriously?" Joker asked annoyed.
"A gift from my Great Grandfather from above. Now what is this about?" Beowulf asked before something blasted him from behind making him look seeing it was the Robot from Lex's lab.
"Simple. Your gonna die now." Joker said laughing as he ran off.
"Is he fucking serious?" Beowulf asked pulling out his father's holy sword before slicing it apart easily before dashing at him making him gasp.
"You're no fun at all." Joker said as he was about to stab him. "Ah, ah, ah. I don't think you wanna waste more time on me. Either kill me or save Miss Lane since another one is right after her." Joker said before throwing down a smoke bomb making him blow it away not seeing him.
"GRRRR! I hate that clown!" Beowulf yelled flying off to save her.
"That was not fun at all. These heroes really take all the fun out of everything." Joker said.
Meanwhile
Lois screamed as the Robot had chased her down into the print room before Beowulf barged in and started fighting it.
"How'd you get here?" Lois asked.
"Joker told me so I would choose. Save you or kill him." Beowulf said punching it back before it rammed him into the print machine before pushing him forward before his hood came down.
Lois was about to throw a Fire extinguisher at it before it ripped off his mask showing the rest of his face.
"Sean?" Lois asked before he used heat vision to cut it in half.
Growling Beowulf put his mask and hood back on.
"Ahem." Lois said getting his attention. "When were you gonna tell me? The Honeymoon?" Lois asked.
"Mmm." Sean said.
Later
"How could you not tell me you were the most famous Hero out there?" Lois asked.
"It's called a secret identity. Does Superman tell you his?" Sean asked making her frown seeing his point.
"Does my dad know?" Lois asked.
"You already know." Sean said.
"So if your Beowulf that must mean that Korra is Sage...And the Avatar. I always wondered who it was in that universe. Dad said he knew but never would say since they felt it was better to keep the identity a secret for now." Lois said.
"Mmm. Look Lois I trust you with almost anything. But we barely every saw each other back then and I felt it was best not to tell you. If I didn't trust you would I have offered you that position?" Sean asked making her grin.
"Are you sure you don't want a piece of Eye Candy around you?" Lois asked making him smirk before seeing Batman, Superman and Sage outside.
"Excuse me." Sean said leaving.
"How'd she take it?" Superman asked.
"I'm probably gonna be buying her flowers for a couple weeks." Sean said making him chuckle. "In any event Bruce and I both know where those Machines came from. Lex made them thinking we would be easily swayed to sell them as weapons to the Government." Sean said.
"Don't you have government contracts for stuff like that?" Superman asked.
"I do. But that wasn't the intention of the Project. That was something he did behind our backs." Sean said.
"Which means he is helping the Joker since now he has more problems than he bargained for." Batman said.
"Then let's go give him some more." Superman said making them grin as Sean put his mask and hood on.
Meanwhile
Lex had Joker and Ecco at his personal facility to talk about the current problem they had.
"Joker, we've got serious problems." Lex said.
"Oooh. A flying wing! 20 times bigger than Batman's or anything that brat might make." Joker said.
"Joker! Did you bring the rest of the Kryptonite?" Lex asked.
"Course. It's right here." Ecco said holding a bag.
"Perfect." Mercy said aiming at her making Joker laugh.
"Oh you good for nothing fuckhead." Ecco said.
"Harsh words from a harsh woman." Lex said taking the bag.
"You realize this will only make you suspicious." Ecco said.
"How so?" Lex asked.
"How did we get into a highly classified facility? How did we get the robots to work so perfectly? How did we know what they could do?" Ecco asked making him raise an eyebrow.
"She's smart I'll give her that." Mercy said.
"I can easily brush all that off as you threatening my staff to get in and control them." Lex said opening it.
Only for Firecrackers to go off making him yell getting blinded before Joker used a Lethal YO-YO on Mercy knocking her out as Ecco took the gun.
"Now about that billion dollars." Ecco said.
"Oooh...I got something much better in mind." Joker said looking at the jet.
Soon Ecco managed to give the thing a paint job making it look like teeth.
And to top it off she strapped Mercy to one of the robots.
Outside Beowulf and the others arrived before Superman used his X ray vision but couldn't see anything.
"Well?" Sage asked.
"Luthor's been lining his buildings with Lead. Blocks my X ray Vision." Superman said.
"Then theres always the direct approach." Batman said as Superman punched the door down.
"After you three." Superman said.
"Now you're learning." Sage said as they went inside.
Thats when the robots turned on before busting through the glass while Joker and Ecco flew off with Luthor.
"Figures." Superman said as they fought the machines.
Beowulf faced three before his wings came out and blocked their shots which bounced off right back at them in the eyes.
Sage with two on her had the floor become lava before it engulfed them both melting them to nothing.
Batman threw two electric gadgets making them malfunction and blew up while Superman smashed the rest.
"You guys really don't mess around." Superman said.
"You have no idea." Sage said before another came at them which had Mercy on it tapped and gaged.
"I got this." Beowulf said running at fast speeds takin her off before slashing it in half.
"You ok?" Beowulf asked gently putting her down before she yelped holding her leg and arm. "Hold still." Beowulf said healing her.
"Thanks." Mercy said.
"I fail to see how a beautiful woman like you works for a jerk like Luthor. Where are they?" Beowulf asked.
"Joker and that bitch took him in the Lex Wing. Said he'd made Luthor lose everything he's ever built." Mercy said.
"Luthor's built half of Metropolis." Superman said before heavy thudding was heard making them look seeing a larger and more armed robot walk to them as Mercy ran. "I'll handle this. You three get Luthor." Superman said as they rushed off while he fought it.
Only for it to have the remaining Kryptonite.
"Great." Superman said annoyed.
Meanwhile
Joker laughed as he started firing everything on everything Luthor owned.
"How does it feel Lexy? Everything you own is going to be Rubble." Joker said laughing like a lunatic.
Thats when missiles hit him making him look seeing the three.
"Why is it always them?" Joker asked annoyed before Beowulf blasted the side making him roar as he fired hundreds of missiles at him but he blasted them all easily before giving him the finger. "AHHHHH!" Joker roared.
"Stop fooling around." Batman said.
"I know." Beowulf said going to the side before slashing open a door for him and Sage to get in.
Meanwhile
Superman was still fighting against the Machine but because of the Kryptonite he was having trouble.
Thats when it grabbed the door he broke down and slammed it on him.
But this proved to be a mistake as he got his strength back because it was lead shielded blocking the Kryptonite.
"Lead lined door. I'll have to Thank Luthor for a change." Superman said slamming it outside.
Doing so broke the rest of the Kryptonite before he flew to help the others.
Meanwhile
Joker continued to fire at Batman before he noticed.
"Hey. Where are those brats?" Joker asked before Beowulf grabbed him and snarled.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Joker screamed in fright before he was thrown into the wall.
"Who's flying this thing?" Ecco asked about to pilot it but Sage Airbended her into the wall out cold as she got in the seat.
"Never flown something this advanced before." Sage said.
"Might I be of some assistance?" Luthor asked.
"Considering you let this happen? No." Sage said making him grumble as she flew it.
Thats when Joker was punched down by Beowulf and let loose his explosive marbles.
Superman broke through seeing the place about to explode.
"Get Luthor. I'll get Ecco." Sage said.
Beowulf stood over Joker who looked nervous before he pulled out a dagger and held his hand to the wall and shoved it in.
"AHHHHH!" Joker screamed.
"Have fun going down with the plane." Beowulf said as he rushed with the others out of the plane as the explosions got closer to Joker who started laughing before the whole thing blew once they were out. (Of course he would laugh about something like this)
"Honey!" Ecco yelled in horror.
"You have the worst taste in men." Sage said as they flew away.
Later
After all that was over Lex was grilled by the District Attorney for his alleged connections to Joker.
Though of course his lawyers got him off easy again but it still cost him greatly.
One both Sean and Bruce terminated the partnership with LexCorp and made it clear they would never do business with him ever again.
Second of all the damage Joker caused left Lex Corp paying for major injuries since while Thankfully no lives were lost a lot of people were injured from the Joker's rampage.
And finally Ecco was sent back to Arkham for another round of rehabilitation.
"GET YOUR UGLY FUCKING HANDS OFF OF ME YOU STUPID SICK FUCKS!" Ecco screamed as Mercy watched as she was put in an armored vehicle.
"Now thats funny." Mercy said laughing.
"Hm." Beowulf said surprising her.
"What are you doing here?" Mercy asked.
"Just checking up on you. How you feeling?" Beowulf asked.
"Better thanks to you...Kruger." Mercy said making him look at her. "I'm not stupid. You show up and then Beowulf? I don't think so. Lex has a habit of missing the obvious." Mercy said.
"No shit. Why do you work for him? Clearly you hate what he makes you do." Beowulf said.
"It's not that simple. He saved me from the streets...So I owe him." Mercy said.
"Ah, A debt. I can understand that. One of these days those he's gonna make you cross a line that you don't want to cross. When that comes...Let me know. Theres always a place for you with me." Beowulf said making her smile as he vanished.
Later
"You two aren't coming back?" Bruce asked Sean and Korra.
"Nah. There was a lot of damage because of the Joker. And according to the reports...They never found his body. What does it take to kill the guy?" Sean asked making him smirk.
"Extreme measures. Damian will be disappointed you're not coming back." Bruce said.
"Ahh, it'll only be for a while. Besides. Theres a lot of opportunity for the damage Joker caused to make this place even better. And Make Lex look bad." Sean said making him chuckle as Clark walked to them.
"Here to see us off?" Sean asked.
"Actually, I thought we all worked pretty well together. Not that I want to make this a regular thing." Clark said.
"Well, it will for a while since Korra and I are staying for the clean up." Sean said.
"Oh yeah?" Clark asked.
"Besides I need to over see the final construction phase for the Metropolis division of Global Tech." Sean said.
"Oh right." Clark said as Bruce left and headed back to Gotham.
Later
Sean was at his penthouse getting his clothes off till.
