Chapter 14 Father's Day
Sean woke up with a groan as he sat up from bed.
It's been a couple months since Leslie now known as Livewire got her powers and learned to properly control them.
Since then not much has happened since Beowulf showed up in Metropolis since criminals were terrified of him.
Though Luthor did try to have him captured by some high level Mercs but failed and had it traced back to him making his reputation further damaged much to his anger.
"Tired?"
Sean looked to his side and smirked seeing a naked Lois next to him grinning as she grabbed him and pulled him down.
"Then again it was a long night." Lois said making him chuckle as he kissed her making her moan into his mouth as he held her close.
Getting up and dressed Lois was only in a purple silk robe while Sean was getting dressed in more finer clothes.
"Whats with the suit? Got a meeting?" Lois asked.
"No. Today is Father's Day. My father's side of the family is meeting for a place I reserved for us in a couple hours for the Old man." Sean said.
"Oooh. You know I was always a believer as a kid and all but knowing you're actually the Great Grandson of the big guy is really something else." Lois said.
"Hmph. Yeah well...It takes some getting used it. These were the best part though." Sean said showing his Red wings.
"Oh I really love those. Maybe some roleplaying would work with them." Lois said making him chuckle.
"So how bout you? You gonna spend time with your dad? Korra is back in the South with her parents for father's day and Bruce's family is doing their own thing in Gotham while Clark went back home to spend time with his family." Sean said.
"Oh my dad never really cares for this day much. Just send him a text and he'll be fine with that." Lois said.
"You know he loves you and Lucy more than his own job." Sean said making her smile.
"I know. He's stubborn and strict. But I still love him." Lois said.
"So since you're not doing anything why don't you come with? Give you something to do since it is your day off." Sean said making her smile.
"Sure. Plus it'll make things interesting seeing my boyfriend's family." Lois said making him chuckle.
"Compared to most families this one is very different." Sean said.
Later
Sean and Lois arrived at a high class diner seeing Lucifer and the others.
"Ah, there you are." Lucifer said.
"I had to take care of something real quick. Downsides of running a trilling dollar worldwide company." Sean said making him chuckle.
"I can't tell if thats pride or just bragging." Amenadiel said.
"Yes." Sean said making most laugh as they sat down. (Oh one more thing everyone you can picture from the Lucifer series. I at first wasn't interested but it turned out pretty cool)
"So where's Korra?" Gabriella asked.
"Oh she's with her dad in her universe in the Southern Water Tribe." Sean said.
"I certainly hope that uncle of her's you two talked about isn't there." Lucifer said as they sat down.
"Unalaq? I doubt it since she hates him as much as I do after that stunt he pulled." Sean said.
"And what stunt was that." His Uncle Micheal asked.
"He tried to have both of us taken away so he could turn us into whatever he wanted." Sean said.
"Excuse me?" Gabriella asked.
"From what Tonraq told me he thinks people should be spiritually enlightened. But not by choice. He thinks himself perfect. My winged ass." Sean said.
"Language. Not here." God said.
"Sorry. He just gets under my skin. No one is perfect. If everyone was exactly the same in his view...Think how boring the world would be." Sean said making them chuckle.
"True enough." Micheal said.
While the family was enjoying themselves a portal opened up before three people stepped out.
"So whats this new restoration project I heard about?" Lucifer asked.
"Well..." Sean tried to say before the place shook.
"I didn't think this place got Earthquakes." Amenadiel said.
"It doesn't really. That didn't feel like one." Lois said before an explosion went off.
"You have got to be kidding me." Sean said getting up and went outside.
Outside he saw three people who looked very strange. Two women and a large male who looked less than Human.
The first woman had black hair with blue eyes and white skin in some armor on with some golden club. She also had very large breasts and a heart shaped ass with some large muscles on her.
The second one had grey skin Black hair and red eyes with two blades in hand. She had equally large breasts with a bubble butt and muscles that rivaled Korra's.
"Bring me Beowulf or you can all die!" The man yelled.
"I ask for one simple family day and it turns to absolute hell." Sean said as his family came out.
"I don't think I've seen them before." Lucifer said.
"I haven't seen them before either." Sean said.
"I recognize some of the tech on them though. Bruno Manheim had his Intergang buddies with some similar stuff months before you showed up. I figured it was alien tech." Lois said.
"BEOWULF! Show yourself you Coward." The man yelled making Sean sigh going back inside and quickly morphed into his gear.
"I ask for a simple family day to enjoy some fucking normalcy and I get challenged by some fucking freak of nature from another planet who has a bone to pick with me." Sean said pulling out his father's sword.
"Let us handle this." Micheal said.
"What?" Sean asked.
"They can't be that dangerous." Gabriel said.
"Sorry but no. This is my job. Besides I'd rather not risk them causing causalities just to draw me out." Sean said going out with his hood and mask on.
The Large one picked up a bus full of people making them scream.
Only for him to get blasted down hard making him yell in surprise as he dropped it down.
Beowulf however grabbed it before it could hit the ground and set it down gently allowing people to get off.
"You guys just royally pissed me off. I was enjoying a nice breakfast with my family. Who the hell are you three?" Beowulf asked.
"I am Kalibak. Son of Darkseid. They are Barda and my weak sister Grail." Kalibak said making Grail glare.
"She looks stronger than you. Not to mention better looking in all categories." Beowulf said making her smile.
"Why thank you." Grail said as Kalibak roared charging at him but he easily dodged every strike with no effort whatsoever.
"Sean?" Amanda said in his earpiece.
"Kinda busy mom." Beowulf said kicking him hard into the bus making him go through.
"I know. Drones are catching all of this. Who are they?" Amanda asked.
"Uh. The ugly fat one is Kalibak and the women are Barda and his sister Grail." Beowulf said as Barda charged at him but he easily avoided all her attacks before grabbing her head and slammed her down hard making her groan in pain. "I got this no problem." Beowulf said as Grail charged at him and actually hit him but only in the arm making him smirk before grabbing both blades.
"You fight well. Join us and I will give you anything you desire." Grail said.
"Tempting but my girlfriend and Partner Sage would kick my ass if I left her so no. I'm more afraid of her than I am of dying." Beowulf said punching her into a wall hard making her yell in surprise.
"Wow. He's not holding back." Azrael said seeing him beating them with little to no effort.
"Say what you will about Amanda but she did not hold back on his training. Which in this case is a good thing." Micheal said as Kalibak screamed in pain as Beowulf shoved his sword into his chest.
"What in the firepits are you? Your not human!" Kalibak yelled.
"No shit. I'm only Half. The rest of me is Celestial." Beowulf said before another portal opened up making him narrow his eyes seeing a large man with grey skin and red eyes like Grail but was far more menacing.
"We meet at last...Beowulf." Darkseid said.
"Darkseid I take it. Come to try what your kids couldn't?" Beowulf asked.
"You misunderstand. I did not send them. My son acted out in foolish pride thinking he could best you. You and I know differently. Pride only clouds one's judgment" Darkseid said.
"Agreed." Beowulf said before Darkseid blasted his son with his Omegabeam making him scream in shock as he vanished.
"I will deal with him myself. As for my daughter and Barda...They are yours since they acted recklessly." Darkseid said shocking them.
"Father." Grail said reaching for him but he vanished.
"Hmm." God said as Beowulf walked to her before picking her up gently.
"He left me?" Grail asked in disbelief.
"Hmmm." Beowulf said before picking Barda up.
"What do you plan to do with us?" Barda asked.
"That is up to you two. You can get whatever he did to you out of your system and choose your own path...Or you you can blindly follow a man who abandoned you and be in jail forever." Beowulf said.
"I believe we can help them find the right path." God said.
"Why?" Micheal asked.
"It's the right thing to do. And your nephew would have done the same thing." God said making him scoff in amusement.
"I swear his good actions are contagious." Micheal said.
Later
"So these two are getting whatever this Darkseid did to them out of their system?" Eiling asked with Lane and Amanda on screens.
"My Great Grandfather can do anything easily." Sean said working on a cube.
"Obviously. If you're recommending them for the Wolfpack I can approve. We need anyone who has skill in it." Lane said.
"And especially if this Darkseid comes back." Amanda said.
"I understand. I'm uh...Expanding the numbers on the team. Two new members already showed up before they did. Former Special forces." Sean said.
"Good. The more members the better." Lane said ending his transmission as did Eiling.
"Sorry things didn't go as planned." Amanda said.
"Ahhh. It could have been worse. Thankfully no one was killed. Minor or major injuries but no deaths." Sean said ending his transmission.
Sean arrived outside his balcony looking at the City with a drink of coke in hand.
"Still not drinking the good stuff are we?" Lucifer asked his Grandson.
"I'm sure Grandma would lecture me and kick your devil ass if I tried." Sean said making him chuckle.
"True enough. Sorry things didn't go as planned...But in this lifestyle...Theres always unknowns." Lucifer said.
"Yeah. It was nice to have some normalcy this morning though. One of the rare few moments I get outside this job." Sean said.
"You know...I never asked and never really thought about it till now...But the things you do...This job you have...Do you even want to do what you do?" Lucifer asked making him chuckle.
"No...I fucking hate fighting people...But you know what...I don't care...Cause I answer a higher calling. I'm Selfless. I care about the needs of others over my needs...Always have and...Always will." Sean said making him smile.
"Your more like your old man than even you realize you know that?" Lucifer asked making him smile as he looked up at the heavens.
"Have you ever talked to him up there?" Sean asked making him chuckle.
"A few times every year. Told him about you. He told me...Amongst everything he's ever done in his life...Being a father was the greatest gift he ever had." Sean said.
"Is that you saying that because Grandma wants Great Grandkids or just being honest?" Sean asked.
"Yes." Lucifer asked making him groan making him laugh.
"I'm not having kids till Korra and I are at least 20. Or any of the other girls. MAZE!" Sean yelled getting said demon to come out with a chuckle. "Will you PLEASE tell my Grandmother I ain't having kids for a couple years. PLEASE?" Sean begged making her laugh.
"Hey, it ain't easy telling her that." Maze said.
"Oy." Sean said.
Later
Lucifer was at his club in LA enjoying a nice drink.
"All things considered I think this day was pretty nice." Isabella said.
"Oh I don't disagree but that whole stunt was rather unnecessary." Lucifer said.
"True." Isabella said before noticing the look on his face. "Lu...What are you not telling me?" Isabella asked.
"Um...While we were gone Dad found out someone escaped hell." Lucifer said.
"So? It's just one person it's no big deal." Isabella said before noticing his look. "Wait second. Who escaped hell? You have that fearful look on your face." Isabella said making him sigh.
"Her." Lucifer said shocking her.
"SHE'S LOOSE! She's the reason Crain lost himself to his darkness and killed Micheal and his family! How did she escape?" Isabella asked.
"No idea. But she did. And I'll bet you anything she wants to finish what she started." Lucifer said.
