Welcome to the story. I always wanted to write this since Avatar is one of my favorite and earliest fandoms I loved and followed. This particular crossover is not as popular as other Kamen Rider crossovers and it been hardly active for a few years, but I wrote this story anyway to see how it goes. Without delay, let's delved into the story.

I do not own The Legend of Korra or Kamen Rider

BOOK 1 CHAPTER 1: The Chosen Warrior

REPUBLIC CITY, 153 AG

It was night time in Republic City. The streets were quiet. The usual blustering and noisy streets, for once was quiet. Many shops, stalls and other establishment were closed or at the very least, .tone down the entertainment. Everyone was quiet in their homes or wherever they were at the time. Even the children's laughter were hushed by their parents. It had been a few sad weeks for the citizen of Republic City. No, not just the city, but for the four nation.

Avatar Aang was dying.

He had been ill for quite some time. This shocked everyone as he had been out and about, greeted the citizens in his daily routine, and even appeared on the media without any signs of difficulty. But now, he had been ordered to rest in his home with his family at the Air Temple Island.

Now, on his bed, surrounded by his family. Katara slowly and lovingly caressed her husband's head while their three children, who already in their adulthood, tried their best to hold back tears.

Aang slowly turned his head towards them and smiled.

"I'm sorry you have to see me like this."

"Don't be sorry dad." Bumi, the eldest spoke up. "We love you no matter what."

Kya nodded and gave a smile as well. She leaned forward and pulled up the bed covers up to her father's chest. "I hope you're not cold dad."

Aang gently tapped her hand and mouthed 'thank you'. Katara turned to Tenzin, the youngest and the only other airbender in the world. "Tenzin, sweetie. It's okay to let it out. You don't have to hide it."

Tenzin was looking away this whole time. He couldn't bear to see his father in such state. To him, his father was his hero. The greatest person to ever live. He had prevented a worldwide genocide. Now, he's about to leave them all behind. Collecting his strength, he finally looked at his father.

"I promised I will trained the next Avatar with all my might."

Everyone know that Tenzin didn't mean anything by it but one couldn't help but to think that Tenzin had confirmed Avatar Aang's death. Painful as it may be, that was what currently happening.

Aang smiled at Tenzin and nodded for the countless time that night. He took a deep breath and exhaled. A sharp pain in his chest made him winced. His family jumped towards him but Aang just chuckled. "Calm down everyone. I'm fine."

"Aang. I hate seeing you like this but I don't want you to go." Katara admitted as her eyes began to water.

"My dear Katara. I thank you for being by side since the moment I opened my eyes in the iceberg until in my deathbed. I'll love you forever."

"I love you too Aang."

"My dear son Bumi. You may be every bit of your namesake but that's not necessarily a bad thing. You are one of the bravest and most courageous person I ever met in my life time. Don't change but please, think before you act from time to time."

Bumi just chuckled, "Will do dad."

"Kya. My lovely daughter. I always knew you'll be exactly like your mother. Smart and honest to yourself. Know what you want in life. You'll continue to do great things in this world."

Kya wiped a tear away, "I will make you proud dad."

"Lastly, Tenzin. My son. I leave the future of the Air Nomads in your hands. Guide them how you think it's right. I know it is a big responsibility but I know you can do it. As for what you said before, please be kind to my next incarnation. I know how serious you could be sometimes."

The entire family laughed as Tenzin nodded. Avatar Aang looked upward but instead of the ceiling, he saw a white entity. The white entity lingered above Aang and did nothing else. It was quite small but the longer it was there, the bigger it became. It seemed his family couldn't see it for certain reasons.

"Who are you?"

"Do not be afraid. I'm a friend. I'm sorry Avatar. But, it is time." Spoke the entity with a feminine voice.

"I see. Since you're a friend. Could I asked you a favor?" Aang asked politely.

"What is it old friend?"

"Republic City is not perfect. Far from it. The next Avatar will have a major problem to contend to if left unchecked in the time span of my death till the next Avatar's readiness to take the responsibility. The world had changed, for the better and worst. Society had change, new and more dangerous threats will arise. The next Avatar will need more help than the past one's ever need. What I'm asking is, please, do whatever in your power to appoint the Avatar with the ultimate companion. One that will make sure, he or she remain on the right path."

The entity remained silent and processed what her dying friend wished. This is something she never had done before and truly intrigued by humanity's way of thinking. After contemplating it, she had come to a decision.

"Very well. Lucky for you old friend, I have a particular plan in mind. A plan I never thought of using since I prepared it about 10,000 years ago. I shall grant your wish."

Aang smiled and closed his eyes for the last time. The white entity circled above him.

"We will meet again." She voiced out before flew away into the dark of the night. Leaving a sad and grieving family behind. As she flew across the city, she noted the humans, no matter where they are, slowly, one by one, eyes filled with tears.

Their beloved Avatar is no more. The next Avatar will be incarnated in the next nation of the cycle. The same cycle that had been going for the last 10,000 years or so, but, this time with an unexpected twist. As she flew faster and faster, a small part of her separated and sped in a different direction but still within the city.

The separated part of the white entity hovered around in the air before zooming towards an opened window of a small house. Inside the room was dark. It was bedroom with a pregnant woman of Earth Kingdom descend sleeping on a bed. The floating entity hovered above the woman before it slowly descended into her, emitting a bright light at the same time.

The flash of light was enough to cause the woman to felt as if a powerful kick in her stomach. She yelped awake and quickly held her stomach. "A strong one aren't you?" She cooed when the door to her room opened wide. A man stood there, with his face wet from tears.

"What's wrong honey?"

"The Avatar is no more." The man told his wife. Just within minutes, the two cried in each other arms. Reminiscing the times the kind hearted and generous Avatar helped them in various ways up to that point in their life either directly or indirectly.

The man kissed his wife's head and gently touched her stomach. "The baby would be due soon. Grieving aside, we should get ready for this little guy's arrival." The mother just nodded and returned to sleep.

17 YEARS LATER, REPUBLIC CITY, 170 AG

"Good non-benders of Republic City! Rise up and don't let the oppressive benders from continuing step on your heads. Join Amon and you will be exactly where you deserve to be. As equals!"

A man stood on a stage in front of a cheering crowd in a public park. Men, woman, children, young and old. They all may be different but they had something in common. They were the non-bending citizens of Republic City that were getting tired of being oppressed by their bending counterparts.

"We will take back our pride and our rights as equals. Join the Equalist today and you will see more results more that the council could ever make!"

The man continue to shout propagandas and the crowd cheered. The cycle repeated itself for a few minutes before a new voice came into their hearing distance.

"Noodles! Noodles! Get your fresh water tribe noodles! The same recipe for generations! If noodles aren't your thing, no problem. We got delicious meat and veggie steamed buns. Perfect to share with loved ones!"

A light skin teen boy with neatly combed black hair and brown eyes stood across the crowd next a portable food cart filled with assortment of food. He was wearing a simple green and yellow shirt that clearly showed his earth kingdom heritage and white pants. He got an average height at 5'8" and adore the friendliest smile anyone had ever seen. He's not the most muscular man around but one could see that he had been lifting heavy things for a living.

"Maybe it's not food you're looking for but some refreshments. Here we got wide range of selections from orange juice, lychee juice, ginseng tea, sweet tea and many more. All you need to do is just choose."

As the teen preach almost rivaled the man on the stage, the crowed turned heads and eyed the boy's selections. Some began to lick their lips and patted their stomachs. Even those who just ate had second thoughts.

A little girl pulled her mother to the cart and pointed at an icy cold bottle of lychee juice. "Mommy. Mommy. Could I have one please?"

"Of course. How much young man?"

The boy put on a light green apron that got his family restaurant's name, 'Xiang's Delights.'. "It's only 4 Yuan mam." He picked up one of the bottle, popped it open and gently handed it over to the girl. He accepted the money with a polite bow. The mother also pointed at one of the meat buns. "I'll have one of those please."

"Coming right up." He opened the container and the smell of fresh steamed buns travelled through the air and surrounded the crowd. Slowly, one by one, they all abandoned the man on the platform and surrounded the food cart instead.

"What? Wait. Everyone. I'm not done. There's more messages I need to recite from the great Amon." The man tried to call out to his audience but they all hypnotized by the food cart. In no time at all, everyone could be seen with some sort of edible delicacies in hand.

Everyone sat down, talked and ate together. Even passerby from other part of the park stopped by and they all joined it. What's more unbelievable that in front of the man's eyes, benders and non-benders socialized in a happy atmosphere. They ate and talked like old friends and shared their loved for the food that brought to them by various cultures of the world.

The man slumped in defeat and walked off the stage. The boy saw this and frowned. He prepared a fresh bowl of noodles and walked over. He tapped the man on the shoulder and handed him the bowl. The preacher was shocked at the gesture. "Here. On me. No one should feel left out."

"Huh?"

"Enjoy the noodles." The boy smiled and ran back to his food cart.

The preacher scoffed at the bowl of noodles and had thoughts of disposing it in the trash but paused when the scent hit him. He took a spoonful of the soup and his senses were under attack with such amazing taste. He quickly sat down and ate it with gusto.

Evening came and the boy pulled his cart back to his family restaurant. He entered it and saw his mother at the cashier, writing down the day's transactions.

"Evening mother. Here's today's earnings." He put an enveloped on the counter. The woman counted it and wrote down the amount.

"Evening Shen. How was the city? No trouble I hope."

Shen sat on a chair behind the counter and rubbed his legs. "About that. Things usually the same. My usual spot had become an Equalist hotspot though."

"I thought I told you to change locations if they're there. No matter. The park always had been a good spot for us. Be careful around them Shen. As much as we wanted to be treated better. Such propaganda and provocations are not right. Remember that."

"Will do mother." He nodded.

"Now. Go wash up and helped with the night time deliveries. We have quite a few orders."

Shen Xiang got up and went on to clean himself. He was brushing his teeth in front of the bathroom mirror when something happened. As he was checking his teeth when a pair of huge red eyes manifested in the mirror where his own eyes were.

Shen jumped backwards and hit the wall behind him.

"Shen? What happened? Are you alright?" A male's voice from outside.

"I'm fine father. Just slipped."

"Okay. Be careful."

Shen returned to the mirror and tried to recreate the apparition. He was afraid it would showed up again but he wanted to see it for a bit longer than a few seconds.

'What was that? Whose red eyes were those?'

Putting the whole incident behind him, he downed the restaurant's uniform and helped out with the deliveries. His mother placed the orders on the food cart and wrote down the addresses on a piece of paper.

As Shen readied to leave, he overheard a conversation between two men.

"Did you hear? About the new Avatar?" One said to his friend.

"Yeah. According to the news, she sound like a rebellious hot head. A far cry from the previous one."

"Hot headed or not, I heard she's on her way to master three of the four elements. She will be one of the youngest Avatars to complete training."

"Besides Avatar Aang though. Seems this one is a bit of a downgrade."

The two roared with laughter as Shen just shook his head. He heard a lot about the new Avatar growing up. He also felt missed out when the previous one passed away a few months before he was born. From the way his parents talked highly of him, Shen knew he must be a great Avatar.

"I'm off!" He told his mother.

"Be careful. Try to avoid shady neighborhoods." His mother warned him.

Shen opened the door and immediately tackled to the ground by two small body and a gust of wind. He groaned and rubbed his head.

"Are you okay mister?"

Shen opened his eyes and saw two other pairs stared at him. The owners of the eyes were two small children wearing air nomads' robes. Their light gray eyes bore into his brown ones. Before he could say anything, an angry man's voice boomed from the door.

"Ikki. Meelo. Get off of him. What did I tell you about running into buildings like that?"

"Sorry dad." The girl named Ikki got off and used airbending to push Shen back onto his feet. The gust of wind made him spun around a few times, this caused him to wobble forward a bit and almost hit into the man in front of him. He grabbed both of Shen's shoulder to steady him.

"Steady there young man. I apologized my daughter's behavior."

"No problem sir. May I escort you to your table? How many?" Shen asked without properly looking at him as the world around him was still spinning.

"Five please. Are you sure you're alright? You could hardly stand."

"No worries sir. I had been pushed around by the neighborhood kids much worse than this when I was younger."

"What's going on here? Ah! Councilman Tenzin. It's been too long." Shen's mother gasped and hurriedly went to greet one of Republic City's leaders.

"Talah, it is good to see you again after all this time. I'm sorry for not coming more regularly. I hope Bilan doing great, seeing how the restaurant doing." Tenzin greeted his friend.

"Bilan is doing great. He had been travelling to get more and more recipe over the past few years. Our menu had been expanded to cover more cuisine from all over the four nation."

"Really? That's amazing. Isn't it Pema?" Tenzin asked a heavily pregnant woman right beside him. The woman was shorter and had her hair tied in a bun. "That's wonderful. I had been craving for some delicious dumplings."

Talah laughed, "Well, you're in luck Pema. Air Nomads' styled dumplings are one of our specialties. Please follow me to your table. Shen, you should get a moved on with the deliveries."

"Yes. Of course mother. Nice to meet you Councilman Tenzin." Shen bowed slightly and Tenzin returned it. Shen immediately began his deliveries to make sure all the orders arrived safely and warmly to those who ordered them.

An hour or two passed and he arrived at the last house. He knocked on the door and gave the family their order. After paying, he returned to the cart to count the money. Satisfied, he placed it in an envelope and safely put it in his front pants pocket.

Before he could start walking back, an immense pain struck his head. Shen cried out and fell to the ground. He clutched his head hard but the pain did not subside. He tried to call out for help but all could escape his mouth was scream of pain.

Several people on the streets rushed to his aid and tried to get his attention. Shen couldn't hear them as his head was in pain and he heard nothing but a shimmering noise in his ears.

"Hey. Kid! You okay?" One man shook him but Shen kept clutching his head with one arm and flailed the other. Sweat accumulated on his forehead and with a loud scream, he lost consciousness.

"He's passed out. What happened to him?" A woman asked.

"Maybe he's ill. We should take him back home." The first man suggested.

"Where? We don't know where he lives." A third man joined in.

"Excuse me. Let me handle this." A new voiced came and the people make way. The voice belong to man in his early twenties. He got black hair and amber eyes. He wore a detective uniform and currently showed his badge to the people.

"I'm Detective Yaozun of Republic City Police. Allow me to handle this situation." He put away his badge and help Shen up by putting Shen's arm around his shoulder and dragged him to his police car. He placed Shen gently into the passenger's side. He even tied a rope to the food cart to his car. After everything seemed in place, he slowly drove to the restaurant.

Back home, Talah walked around aimlessly in the empty restaurant. Tenzin and his family had left and promised to come visit often after he returned from the South Pole. Their family had been close for years since it was Talah's mother that used to direct various plays about Avatar Aang in his prime. Aang and his family saw the play and loved it so much that he asked to meet her.

After a few dispute with theater owner about payments and tired of being ripped off, she resigned and opened a restaurant with her husband. Talah's future husband, Bilan, which was already a great cook, worked for them. He and Talah fell in love and gotten married. After her parents passed, she inherited the restaurant while Bilan became head cook. It was already closing time and Shen did not come back home yet. This had Talah worried.

Bilan sipped his drink at an empty table. "Talah. Don't be like that. This is not the first time Shen came home late."

"I know that Bilan. It's just. The city is not as safe as it used to be. With the Equalist starting to appear everywhere. It's only a matter of time before an all-out war began. By that time, no one would be safe."

Bilan sighed, "Indeed. It all started to go downhill since Avatar Aang passed. Now, with the new Avatar still in training. Republic City was left to handle problems on its own. To make things worse, the council refused to acknowledge the Equalist as a potential threat."

"Bilan. Are we really traitors to the non-benders?"

"What? My dear Talah. What makes you say that?"

Talah sat down next to her husband, "A few of my friends from the market talked about it. They said any non-bender refused to fight for equality is a traitor. I'm scared Bilan, not for us. For Shen. His future will be destroyed if things get worse."

Bilan stayed quiet but a plan popped into his head, "We have no choice. If things worsen, we must leave Republic City. We could start over at my families' hometown. Omashu."

Talah don't know what to say. She loved Republic City but the situation just grew grim by the day. She don't want to leave but she must think of Shen's future. "Should we ask Shen?"

"Sure. He's an adult. He have the right to state his own opinion and stance."

A loud knock was heard from and Talah opened it. She shrieked at the sight of the detective carried her unconscious son inside. Bilan stood up and helped him. They laid Shen on the bed in Shen's room. They returned downstairs to the restaurant area and Talah poured the detective a cup of tea.

"I thank you for helping my son. Is there any way for me to repay you?" Bilan thanked him.

Detective Yaozun sipped his tea, "There's no need to repay me. I'm a detective. Helping the citizenry is my sole duty. I had done something anyone would."

"Please. Tell us. What happened to our son?" Talah asked as she put out a plate of dumplings.

"I found him at the side of a street. He was screaming and clutching his head in pain. The passerby tried to get through him but the pain his experiencing seems to prevent him interacting with them. Fortunately, I recognized your restaurant's name and brought him here."

"I thanked you again detective. Please come back during open hours and we'll treat you to a nice meal. I'm sure our son would love to thank you in person."

"It's okay. Thank you for the offer, the tea and the dumplings. They were delicious. I must be off now."

After entering his car, Yaozun make a small note in his personal notebook to come back and checked on the teen. It must be hard to fell ill on the side of the street like that. If he weren't lucky, he could fell victims to various criminals roaming freely on the streets. He was about to drive back to the station when the police radio emitting a distress call.

"Attention to all police unit. There had been a report of benders fighting and causing commotion near the business area. Any unit that are available, please proceed to the location."

Yaozun grabbed the receiver, "Detective Yaozun here. I'm on my way." He drove on to the reported location. It was quite nearby and he able to arrive there in no time. He arrived to a small construction site. He walked out of his car and scouted the area.

He almost gave up when he saw a hand ticking behind a pile of bricks. He rushed over to it and discover an unconscious man. The man was wearing an expensive suit and shoes. Yaozun checked for any signs of life but sadly, there weren't any. He looked around the area and found more bodies all over the place.

"Who could have done this? Wait a minute." He inspected another body and it finally hit him. These people weren't any normal benders. They were part of the Triple Threat Triads.

"Did someone killed them? Who?"

Footsteps could be heard behind him. He turned around to see no one was there.

"Who's there? Show yourself. Republic City Police. Don't make it hard on yourself."

The warning did get some reaction but it weren't the reaction he hoped for. The footsteps was heard again but it came from another angle. Yaozun prepared himself to handle any form of ambush. The footsteps became louder and louder. Yaozun turned and immediately came into contact with a powerful punch to his chest.

He soared high and crashed into a pile of bricks. He got up but a hand grabbed him by the throat and threw him into his car windshield. The glass shattered but his spirit were not. He got back up and get into a fighting stance.

"You just assaulted a police office. Show yourself."

The dark figure walked towards him. Yaozun prepared to shoot fire if the guy retaliated. It slowly walked under the moonlight, revealing itself to him.

"What? What the hell? Who are you? What are you?"

The figure was nothing Yaozun ever see before, it possessed the body of man but the head of a jaguar. Around its neck was a red scarf and feather rested on its shoulder. The creature snickered as it approached and proceed to make a ritualistic hand gesture. Yaozun conjured a fireball in his hands.

"Stop! Don't move!"

The creature opened its mouth in a mocking manner, as if it knows that the man would not be able to stop him.

"Final warning!"

The creature raised it hand above its head and a white light appeared. Yaozun wasn't prepare for what it would do next. The creature put its hand through it and pulled out a sword.

"What kind is ability is that?" Yaozun stunned by such display. The creature, without warning, dashed towards the police officer. Yaozun shot multiple fireballs but it was slashed or blocked. The creature swung its sword but Yaozun dodged.

It went for a stab but he jumped on the sword to jump higher into the air. Got into a good position, he blasted it with a torrent of fire. The unknown creature cried in agony, before Yaozun propelled himself off his own police vehicle and kicked a solid fireball to his opponent's chest.

It fell onto its back and cried in pain.

"What are you? Are you are spirit or a man in a costume? Identify yourself."

The creature got up but Yaozun was ambushed by another one. Another of the unknown creature grabbed him from behind and wrapped its arm around the helpless officer.

'Where's the police force?!'

As he struggling, the first one returned to the fray and mercilessly punched Yaozun in the face and stomach over and over. It also kicked him right into his police car, leaving a huge dent. Using what little energy he got left, he ready to fight his last stand.

The two creatures walked towards him.

'Is this how I die? So much of wanting to make a change in the city.'

The two assaulters were about to finished the job but they were distracted by a sound of an unknown origin. Yaozun saw a bright light coming their way.

'Damn it. Another one?'

But this time, it was different. A dark figure strode confidently towards them. A bright white light emitted from him, making impossible to see his identity. The two creatures muttered something between them and the second one wanted to strike but the first pulled its comrade back.

'Are they afraid of him?'

The closer the figure gotten, Yaozun could clearly heard a sound emitted from the person. It was a sound he never heard of before. It a weird whirring sound but it was surprisingly pleasant on the ear. One of the unknown creature lose its cool and attacked.

It swung its fist but the figure easily countered it. The newcomer blocked a strike and quickly punched the hybrid monster in the chest in rapid succession. The last punch managed to send it flying into a pillar of an unfinished building. Destroying it.

Yaozun took this opportunity to get somewhere safe. He limped towards a safe area and slumped down. He still managed to see the fight and wished he could see who the mysterious newcomer was.

The lone unknown looked hesitant to fight but it quickly got an idea. It lifted Yaozun's police car and threw it at the mysterious stranger. The fighter saw this and immediately jumped to the side. The car crashed and immediately exploded. The explosion and flames lightens the area and the man's identity was revealed.

Yaozun's jaw dropped at the sight of his 'savior'. He was wearing some kind of armor in black, yellow and silver color. The black was mainly the bodysuit while the yellow covered the ankle guard, wrist guard, parts of the torso and mouth piece. Silver were minor and present on the torso and shoulder guards. What took Yaozun by surprised was the large red eyes and yellow horn. On his waist was an odd looking belt with a circular yellow center.

"Agito." The monster growled.

'Agito? Is that his name?'

The jaguar monster growled and picked up its sword. It dashed towards the warrior in armor and the two fought with deadly proficiency. The warrior disarmed the monster. As it panicked, the warrior named Agito punched its face and sent it flying backwards, the same way that happened to its friend.

Yaozun immediately heard several police cars arrived and he ran towards them. One of the officer greeted him. "Officer. What happened?"

"What is that?" Another officer asked as they saw the two combatants fought.

Yaozun knew better than to intervene. "Stop! Don't attack. The guy in yellow helped me."

The officers looked at him like he was crazy. A police readied his metal cords and rushed in.

"Stop!"

A few more officers followed. The officers unleashed their metal cords and wrapped it around Agito's arms, legs and chest. With Agito in binds, the monster summoned a spear and immediately slashed Agito's chest.

Agito groaned in pain but unable to stop the assault.

"Oi! Someone stop the other guy!"

Two earthbender police lifted the ground and trapped the monster's arm from moving further. The monster tugged on the earth that trapped its arm.

"No used in struggling. We don't know what you are but you two will be coming with us."

The monster growled loudly and used its free hand to cut the metal cords that held Agito. With the police distraught, it broke the concentration of the two earthbenders. It managed to break free and planned its revenge. It leaped onto the police and kicked the heads of the two earthbenders. It slashed a nearby officer and threw another one right into one of the police cars to the point the car flipped over. Almost crushing the officer. It swung its sword but the police that bind him earlier tripped and fell, missing the sword by mere inches.

"Please. Stay back! I'm sorry!"

Agito grabbed the creature from behind and lead it away from the police. Yaozun arrived at the man's side. "What did I tell you?!" he scolded the officer before followed the armored warrior.

The two fighters arrived deeper into the construction site and still fighting with all their might. Agito blocked a kick and punched it to gain a bit of space. It leaped onto Agito but the masked warrior cleverly grabbed its arm and turned 360 degrees, throwing it back where it came from.

Agito get ready for his final attack as he crouched down. A large Agito symbol appeared on the ground under him while four smaller horns appeared behind the two original large ones. The large red eyes glowed even brighter. The symbol slowly been absorbed into the sole of his feet.

The monster got up and charged head first. Agito readied himself and when he saw his target approached, he jumped high into the air and landed a solid kick on its chest. The monster skidded crossed the ground and got up a few minutes later.

'That didn't do anything?' Yaozun began to worry.

The monster trotted forward but stopped halfway. It cried out in pain and clutched its chest. The light from earlier appeared above its head before exploded in a gargantuan explosion. Yaozun fell onto his back and covered his face. He could felt the shockwave from all the way back here.

He stood up and saw the armored warrior walked away, with the monster was nothing more than a pile of burned ash.

"Stop!"

The warrior turned around. His red eyes glared at the police officer.

"Who are you? What are you? Are you a friend?" Yaozun repeated the questions that he asked the unknown creatures earlier. Agito ignored him and continue walking, disappeared into the night.

An hour later, Yaozun found himself outside of Chief's Beifong's office. The door opened and the police officer from earlier exited. "How did it go?"

The officer scratched his head and shrugged his shoulder. "I told the chief everything that I know. She offered me a week off. She told me to get some rest."

Yaozun knew that the Chief would never believe any of them. He knocked on the door and hoped for the best.

"Come in."

Yaozun entered and came face to face with Chief Lin Beifong. She wrote something on a piece of paper and immediately handed to Yaozun.

"What's this?"

"A week leave. I don't need to hear what you're going to say. Clearly you and the other officer beginning to see things."

"Chief Beifong. Please. Here me out."

Lin slammed her hands on table and stood up. "Hear what? How you had been delusional about a crime scene and being beaten by some guy in a costume?"

"I thought the same at first but after I fought it, I'm sure it is not a costume or any special effects or tricks. I saw it conjured a weapon out of a light above its head. No human beings could do such things. It could be an evil spirit."

Chief poured herself a cup of coffee. "I'm sure that's just a trick of the eye. Now leave me be."

Yaozun tried to reason even more but he knew Chief Beifong could be a bit aggressive if provoke, but he couldn't leave it here. "Chief. Allow me to investigate this matter even further."

Chief Beifong spat out her coffee and glared at the detective. "I tolerated many things from you Detective. I tolerated when you raid the Cabbage Corp. without warrant just because you suspected it distributed illegal products, I tolerated you when you destroyed the side of the city hall when you accidently firebend near explosives when I clearly told you not to."

Yaozun felt himself getting smaller and smaller in self-esteemed when his 'mistakes' were mentioned out loud. "Chief. I know I made some mistakes…"

"Mistakes is an understatement."

"But, I know I could do this. Those things couldn't be ignored. I know we got our hands full with the Equalist to deal with but this is not a mere serial killer. We need to focus on it as well. People could be in danger if there's truly is an evil spirit on the loose. Please Chief."

"You had been a pain on my side since you've transferred here from the Fire Nation. But, I'm willing to give you a chance. One month. Find proof that this thing you mention is not just any mere man. You do that and I'll shuffle some resources to deal with this new threat."

"Thank you chief. I won't fail you."

"See to it then."

Yaozun left the station and began his investigation.

Shen had been bed rest by his mother for a few days. On the first day, he woke up with a huge headache with some serious muscle pain and it continued for a few days. He expected the same today but there were none. He felt different. A good kind different. He stood up from the bed and felt strong and energetic.

"Alright. Headaches gone. Sore muscles for unknown reason, gone. Time to start the day with a bang. " He hyped himself but his stomach grumbled. "Oh, and breakfast."

He took a light breakfast with the restaurant kitchen staff watched his every move. They heard of Shen's incident and felt they need to take care of him. Shen walked into the restaurant area and saw his mother and few waiters set up the food cart as per usual.

"Shen Xiang. Ready for today's shift mother."

Talah yelped in surprised and almost dropped a pot of hot noodle soup. "Don't scare me like that. If I don't have any good idea who it was, I would splash this soup all over you."

"Sorry mother."

"Shen dear. Are you sure you're up for this? I'm still worried. What if you fell ill again? You should rest some more. I'll have one of the waiters go."

Shen rolled his eyes, "I'm fine. You worried too much mother."

"What's wrong with that? I'm a mother. It's basically my job to worry about my only son."

Shen laughed and kissed his mother on the cheek. He pushed the cart to the nearby park, where he always set up shop. "I'll be going now mother."

"Remember to avoid weird people."

Shen arrived at the park but stopped at the sight of his usual spot already occupied by someone else. Not by another cart but a group of mean looking people. They looked around as if they were looking for something. Shen had a good idea what this was about and turned to the left. He was right. The same preaching man was also here and his crowd of Equalist supporters were larger than before.

'Did he hired those thugs to keep me from ruining his speech? That's messed up.'

Shen had no choice but to pull his cart somewhere else. He found a nice location by the side of a major street. Many cars passed here and maybe they will stop to buy.

"Noodles! Steamed buns! Thirst quench beverages! We got them all!"

That were among the many variations that he had shouted for hours. None of the cars stopped and some even drove too close to the cart just to mess with him.

"No use I guess. The park is the best option but those thugs were there."

Shen got behind the cart to prepare a drink for himself when his eyes caught something unusual. A big and white creature stood outside of another stall nearby with its head poking inside. A while after that, a dark skin girl wearing a water tribe clothing exited the stall and sadly patted the creature. She hopped on it and rode away.

Shen saw the look and realized it right away. Only one reason one exited a food stall look that gloomy. He saw the right time and called out to her.

"Hey. You. Girl on that white creature!"

The girl stopped. She saw Shen waved his arms at her but wasn't sure that it was her he's been talking to. She pointed a finger at herself and Shen gave a nod. She instructed her animal companion to go towards the guy.

"Yes?" She asked.

"You seemed sad while exited that stall. It means either of two things. Either the food was bad or you don't have any money to pay." Shen predicted.

The girl blushed and looked away. "You see. I just came to the city. So yeah. I don't have any money. The food smelled good though."

"Say no more." Shen proceed to prepare a bowl of noodle as the girl get down from her companion. Shen could see that she's eyeing the cart's content one by one. Imagining what each delicacies could taste like. She took a step closer and Shen handed her the bowl.

"Man. That's looks good. Wait. I just said I don't have any money."

"This is on the house. Cart. On the cart. You know what I mean."

The girl's expression brighten up as he said that. "Really?"

"Sure. I had been here for hours and sell none. It would be a total waste. This way at least, it could be enjoy by someone."

"Thanks."

She took the bowl and sat down, leaning against her companion. She slurped the noodle in a manner than people wouldn't normally found in a girl but Shen smiled the entire time. Girl or not, he loved seeing someone enjoying his food.

"This is delicious. I never thought anyone could make water tribe noodles this authentic."

"Thank you for the compliment. My father took his cooking very seriously. He wouldn't settle for anything less than perfect." He handed her a bottle of lychee juice. "I'm Shen. Shen Xiang. My family owns Xiang's Delight."

"Korra. Southern Water Tribe. Current Avatar."

She slurped more noodles and looked up when she heard Shen said nothing. She slurped the remaining noodles dangled from her mouth and proceed waved her hand in front of a stunned boy. "Hello. Anyone home?"

"Gah! Avatar Korra! My humblest apologies. It is an honor to actually meet you."

"Hey there. Humblest apologies? Honor? I'm maybe the Avatar but not royalty. No need for that."

Shen calmed himself down. "Sorry about that Avatar Korra. Just excited to be able to meet you. I'm always been a fan despite you never left the South Pole until now and the only news I heard of you was that you're a fast learner of the elements. You look a lot more beautiful than I could possible imagine."

"Thanks. I guess." Feeling a little flattered.

Korra finished her food and drink. "That's hit the spot. I promised to pay you back once I got some money somehow. The last thing I need is to be in debt."

"Come now. I'm the one offered it to you, didn't I? No payment required."

Korra stared at the remaining abundant of food on the cart. "So, what are you going to do with those? Give them away?"

"Yup. It happened from time to time. Part of running a business. I know just the place to bring these."

"Let me help you. Naga. Here girl."

Naga came forward and Korra tied a rope at the cart and Naga's saddle. Korra got on Naga and padded the saddle behind her. "Get on. Naga don't bite. Most of the time."

"What is she and are you sure she's safe?"

"Naga's a polar bear dog and yes, she's safe. Just don't do anything stupid like pulling her tail."

Shen slowly and careful got onto the saddle behind Korra. Naga began to walk and Shen was overrun with panic. He wobbled slightly before wrapping his arms around Korra's waist. "Sorry. I'm just not good with animals."

"That's okay. Just don't do anything stupid or I'll kick your ass." Korra warned.

"Duly noted Avatar Korra."

Shen guided Korra through the street, getting deeper and deeper into the city. After half an hour, they arrived at one of the many slums area of the city. The houses were just like any slum houses one expected. Small, dirty, very packed and lack of the basic facilities. Everyone was wearing ragged clothes. Showing their skinny bodies that lack the nutrients and nourishments.

"It's Shen everyone!" One of the residents called out and everyone smiled. Korra expected them to rush at them but none did such thing. They all got up and gathered around the cart neatly and patiently. One of the man stepped forward and shook Shen's hand.

"Thank you for coming Shen. If you're here that means you hardly sold anything right?" The man laughed and Shen joined him. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wish ill upon your family business."

"That's okay. You're right though. To be frank, I did not sell anything today. I only gave away one charity bowl to this girl." Shen admitted as he pointed to Korra.

"Hey! Charity bowl?" Korra fumed.

The slum residents laughed as Korra crossed her arms. As mad and offended as she was at Shen, Korra helped out by serving the residents. They weren't that many of them in the area and they had enough food to give away. Korra wiped a stream of sweat and smiled when she saw a group of kids played with Naga and enjoying their first decent meal in quite some time.

She felt a small tugged on her pants and saw a little girl asked for more. She looked around the empty cart and hoped there's something left. She sighed of relief when she saw the last plate of steamed dumplings. She was about handed it over to the girl when a little boy came and took it.

"Hey!" The girl screamed. "That's mine!"

"I'm faster. The fastest always wins." The boy mocked.

The girl tried to wrestle the boy for the food.

"Kids! Stop!" Korra tried to stop them but was ignored. They almost fell over before Shen came along and took the plate of dumplings away. "You two. Don't fight. Food should make people happy. Not fighting."

The two kids frowned and disappointed at their own behavior.

"There's enough for both of you if you're aren't greedy. Food tasted better if we share. Foods are temporary but the friendship we made might be for a lifetime. Even more." He handed the plate over to the boy. The two kids sat down near a wall. The boy picked up one of the dumplings with a chopstick and feed it to the girl.

Korra looked in awe how Shen handled it. He turned to Korra and gave her one of his brightest smiles. Korra smiled back and gave a thumbs up, to which Shen returned himself.

Korra once again offered to pull the cart back to the restaurant. Once arrived, he thanked her. "Thank you again for your help Avatar Korra. It would take me a few hours to get there, served them and returned home."

Korra just nodded but stayed silent. Shen saw the expression of her face. "Avatar Korra? What's wrong?"

"Those people. How come their allowed to live like that?"

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean. How come they even live like that? In the slums. What's the council were doing all this time? I thought everyone in the city were living it up."

Shen gave her a weak smile, "That's basically everyone's dream. Even Avatar Aang wished for it but reality could be an ugly thing. Not everything is pleasing to hear but we tried our best to help each other. As for the council though."

"Yes?" Korra waited.

"I truly have no idea what they had been doing lately. Hehe. Their policies were all over the place." Shen admitted without feeling ashamed whatsoever. Korra groaned and quickly got onto Naga. "Anyway. Thank you for the noodles earlier. You basically just gave a warm welcome to the city. Thank you, Shen"

"I did?" Shen asked.

"Yup. That old lady from the first stall kicked me out and you helped me where you don't have to."

"Oh yeah. Glad I could helped. Now, where you off to?"

"About that. I'm trying to find Air Temple Island. Do you know where it is?"

"Certainly. Everyone in the city know that place. Just follow the street by the waterfront and you should see a statue of Avatar Aang. Near to it would be the Air Temple Island. You need a ferry or a water transport to get onto the island itself though. I hope that helps."

Korra smiled happily, "Very much. Thanks again. I hope I could see you around."

"Sure thing. Before I forget. Welcome to Republic City Avatar Korra. I'm sure you'll do many great things here. The city need you more than ever."

"My plan exactly. Bye Shen. See you around." With that Korra have Naga ran into the street and towards Air Temple Island.

Shen smiled and entered the restaurant. Talah was talking to a young man in a detective uniform. She rushed to Shen when she saw him entered. "Shen. This is Detective Yaozun. He's the one that found you that night."

Shen at the moment, rushed with excitement. "Oh. You helped me? Thank you. I would be a goner without your help. It's nice to finally meet you." They both shook hand.

"Likewise Mr. Xiang. I had been meaning to come and visit much earlier but work gotten in the way. I'm glad to see you recovered."

"Mr. Xiang? Come on. No need for formality. Just Shen is enough."

Yaozun smiled, "Shen it is. I'm Detective Yaozun of the Republic City Police. My card." Yaozun handed over a card at Shen and the teen stared at it with awe.

"This is so cool. A police card, like those police plays I saw on stage, but real ones."

They sat down and served tea. "How long have you been a detective for?"

"For a few years now. I was part of the Fire Nation reserve police unit since graduated the police academy. I got promoted and asked to be transferred here."

Shen smiled knowingly, "Nice choice detective. Republic City is amazing. There's lots of things here. Better shops, better eating options, better…"

"No. That's not why I asked to be transferred here. I wanted to be here to help with the crimes."

"Crimes?"

"Like many people seemed to forget was, that Republic City, shining beacon of prosperity it may be, plague with crimes. Especially involving the bending underworlds gangs. Like the Triple Threat Triads."

"The cake shop?"

"That's Triple Treats Taste. I said Triple Threats Triads."

Shen nodded aggressively, "Oh right. Sorry."

They talked a bit more when Bilan returned home. He sighed of relief when he saw Shen talking with the detective. "Detective. Good to see you again. Shen, I'm glad you're home."

"What's wrong father?"

"Not sure. But, there's a commotion a few blocks from here. Looks like the Triple Threats Triad were harassing the shop owners and a bender that believed to be the Avatar stopped them. Apparently the police took her away since she destroyed more of the shops than the gang ever did."

"What? Avatar Korra did what?"

"Avatar Korra?" Yaozun asked.

"That's the Avatar's name."

The detective nodded, "Oh. Okay. Wait! You know the Avatar?"

"It's a long story." Shen told him but Talah jumped into the conversation.

"You met the Avatar and you didn't tell me Shen? I'm disappointed."

Shen ruffled his hair, "I was about to tell you mother but the Detective was here and I just forgotten."

"Are you saying it's my fault?"

"No. I did not say that. Calm down detective." Shen tried to defend himself.

The playful argument continued into the night and it only stopped when their stomach rumbled with hunger. They ate dinner together and ready for the night shift. The detective returned to his duty afterwards.

The next day arrived. Shen was once again at the side of the street, since his spot at the park was once again occupied by the non-bending thugs. He had been there for a few hours, but no cars stopped. Only a few passerby stopped and bought a few things but that hardly turned a profit.

"A bust again today. Sorry mother."

"Shen."

The boy looked at Detective Yaozun exited his car. They greeted one another in a friendly manner. "Are you working right now Detective?" Shen asked as he served a bowl of beef noodle.

"No. A slow day. But, I was instructed to be at the city hall around noon though. The Avatar going to make her first public appearance." He proceed to slurp the noodles.

"Ah. Avatar Korra must have decided to finally make her mark in the city. I'm glad. I wished I could go. I know. I should set up my cart there. I bet there's a lot of hungry people."

Yaozun finished his bowl by drinking all the soup. "That's not a good idea. Chief Beifong really hated when people, especially stalls like these, gathered at public conferences like that. She said it cluttered the area."

"Aww."

Yaozun got up and placed a few Yuan for the bowl of noodles. "Well. I must be off. Thank you for the noodles. I see you around. Stay safe."

"You too Detective."

Yaozun drove off to the city hall. He saw many reporters gathered outside of the very building. He parked his car and walked towards one of the officers on guard duty. "I thought you would keep the hair style from yesterday."

"Haha. Very funny. I got polar bear dog slobber all over me."

Yaozun laughed at patted the officer on the shoulder before walked over to the Chief. "Reporting for duty Chief."

"Good. I beginning to worry to sleep on the job."

"I would never do such thing."

The crowd cheered and he looked at the podium. Avatar Korra stood up to the podium and waved at the crowd.

'So, that's her.'

Korra tapped the microphone that caused it to screech. Yaozun and the people around the podium covered their ears.

'So much for a good first impression. I guessed that already destroyed when she got arrested yesterday.'

"Hello? Hai everyone. I'm Korra. You're new Avatar."

The crowd cheered even more and the camera flashes intensified. Yaozun wondered how he's not blind yet at this point.

Next, Korra was bombarded with assault of questions.

"Does this means you moved to Republic City?"

"Were you trying to send a message to the Triads yesterday?"

"Will you be fighting crime or the anti-bending revolution? Or both?"

"Will you be working with Chief Beifong and the police?"

Korra seemed hesitant to answer the questions. He felt sorry for the girl but she's the Avatar and she need to make her stance here and now to show to the world that she's no pushover.

"Yes. I'm definitely here to stay. But, honestly I don't exactly have a plan yet. You see, I'm still in training but look, all I know, Avatar Aang meant this city to be the center of peace and balance in the world and I believed we could make his dream a reality. I look forward to serving you. I'm happy to be here. Thank you Republic City."

As the crowd cheered, a reporter tried to get her attention. "Avatar! Avatar! What would you do about the evil spirits roaming the city?"

"Evil spirit?" Korra questioned the man. Yaozun heard this and he and Chief Beifong looked at each other.

"What is this about evil spirits?" Chief Beifong asked him.

"I don't know. They must've talked about those unknown creatures from the other night. How the press get a hold of that news? We need stop her. She don't know what those people asking about."

Korra was puzzled with the questions. This is the first time she heard about evil spirits in the city. Puzzled as she may be, she didn't show it. "Evil spirits you say. Yeah. Sure. Of course, I'll handle it. I'm the Avatar and keeping the balance between the human and spirits is kind of my job."

Korra found herself immediately pulled away from the podium by Yaozun and Chief Beifong took her place. "I don't know how that piece of news got circulated but I assured you that there are no evil spirits roaming our city."

"Are you denying that there's had been a few unexplainable killings around the city?"

"No. We will handle it and put the culprits behind bars. This is not the work of evil spirits."

Korra pulled her arm away from the detective, "Hey. Let go. What's your problem?"

"My problem? You shouldn't have said anything about the evil spirits. We don't want a panic."

Korra rolled her eyes and laughed, "Pfft. Why so serious? I'm the Avatar. It's my job to take down evil spirits. Just call me when one showed up." She proceed to give him a thumbs up.

"You don't understand Avatar Korra. You need to be careful. Those things are not your average spirits. I saw them what they could do."

"Yeah. Yeah. I got it." Korra waved him off.

"Look out!" An officer cried as he was grabbed by the throat by threw into a nearby tree. Another officer were thrown into the crowds and before everyone realized what's going on, a few police vehicles were dropping from the sky. Scaring the crowds, forcing them to run in terror.

Explosions erupted everywhere and the remaining police huddled together to keep the VIPs and civilians safe.

"The ones near the city hall! Keep the Councilmen and Avatar safe. The rest of you, defend the civilians." Chief Beifong shouted orders and it quickly followed.

"Look! Over there!"

In the distant, walking through the rubble was a one of the monsters from a few night ago. They could clearly see it in the open. Everyone was silent to what the monster was or what it wanted. Korra break through the police and ran towards it.

"Korra! Wait!" Tenzin called out to her.

"Everyone. Get back!" Korra heading towards it and readied three of the four elements.

Meanwhile, Shen was pushing his cart towards the city hall. "Come on. Almost there. If I'm sneaky enough. Maybe the police won't notice me."

Immediately Shen was attacked with the same kind of headache from a few night ago. But, this time, it wasn't as painful and he still managed to stand up and maintained consciousness. Other than headache, he got a few flashes of events in his head.

The flashes showed him snippets of Korra fighting the monster with the aid of several police officers including Chief Beifong, Councilman Tenzin and Detective Yaozun in front of the city hall but unfortunately they were losing badly.

"What? Avatar Korra?" Shen left his cart and sprinted towards the city hall.

In front of the city hall, the monster that consist the body of a man and head of a jaguar held against the police force and Avatar surprisingly well. Water, fire, air, earth and even metal flew all over the area but it didn't slow it down.

Korra send a slab of earth towards it and Yaozun send a fireball at the same time. The monster jumped and dodged it effortlessly.

"What's this guy's deal? Is this the spirit you told me about?" She asked the police.

"We don't know. We don't even know if we could classify it as a spirit." Detective Yaozun replied.

The monster jumped into the air and landed behind two officers. It swung its spear and slammed the two against the wall of a building. The metalbenders used their metal cords to restrain it but it pulled the officers off their feet and swung them around in circles in the air.

"Put them down." Yaozun shot fire and made it accidently released the officers, which resulted in the police to be thrown directly at the detective.

"Detective! You okay?" Chief Beifong called out to him.

"I'm fine! Just being crushed beneath fellow officers, but I'm fine."

The monster cut through a few boulders like they were nothing. Half of the boulders flung towards Korra and she leaped away. The unknown took this chance to attack. Korra saw this coming and blasted it away with fire from her foot.

It crashed at the side of the building but got up moments later.

"How strong is this thing?"

Tenzin walked towards her "We need to find its weakness. We clearly could harmed it but it just too resilient against our attacks. Here it comes."

Everyone got ready for another attack. The unknown charged at them with little to no plan. It jumped at them but a kick landed on its face, sending it crashing into another building.

"What now?!" Chief Beifong called out.

A figure ran passed them in a blur. Korra felt her hair moved as the figure ran passed her.

"What was that?"

"Agito!" Yaozun shouted and ran passed her as well.

"Agi-what? Hey! Wait for me!"

"Korra wait!" Tenzin called out to her but was ignored.

Agito grabbed the unknown and punched it repeatedly. One punched missed and the unknown kicked him through a shop's window. Agito tried to get up but was slashed across the chest with a spear. The unknown went for a jab at the head but managed to be countered.

The two wrestled a bit before a pillar of earth launched itself from the shop walls and send the unknown back into the street. Korra and Yaozun both synchronized and blast multiple fireballs at it. Agito leaped out of the window and looked at them.

"We got your back." Korra told him but she was ignored by Agito and went back to fight the monster.

"Rude much."

Agito turned the tide and managed to get the upper hand. Their fight went to the streets and cars around them stopped immediately. Passersby and shop owners all tried to keep way from the two fighters.

The unknown tried to jumped away but it met another slab of earth pinned it to the building. Agito readied himself for a kick. Korra captured it by locking it in an earth dome up to its chin. It struggled a bit and managed to break its arms free.

"Hurry up and finish it. I can't hold on to it much longer."

Agito's symbol on the ground merged to the sole of his feet and jumped into the air. Korra took notice this and immediately released the earth dome. The monster did not have enough time to escape as Agito landed a clean kick on its chest. It rolled away and clutched it chest in pain.

Within seconds, it exploded and Korra constructed an earth shield in front of them to prevent being caught in the explosion. Yaozun silently thanked that there's no car in the proximity.

The three of them stared at the burning pile of ash.

"Yohoo! We did it. We're the best." Korra cheered and patted Detective Yaozun's back harder than necessary and send the detective face first to the ground. Korra skipped over to Agito and patted his back as well.

"Hey. I don't know who you are, but thanks."

Agito remained silent and walked away. Korra ran and stood in front of him, blocking his path.

"Hey. Where are you going? We should celebrate. We take down a spirit together. I'm Korra. The Avatar. What's yours? That detective called you Agi or something but I didn't really catch it." Korra extended a hand and but it too was ignored.

"Not much of a talker are you?"

The three heard police cars coming towards them. Agito pushed her aside and walked away.

"Hey. Wait." Korra wanted followed him but was held back by Tenzin.

"Korra! What were you thinking?!"

"The Agito! We need to follow him! He's getting away!"

Tenzin held Korra's hand with a tight grip. "He could also be dangerous. Leave it to the police."

"Dangerous? He just helped us. He killed the thing."

"Helped doesn't mean he's a good guy. He might just wanted to destroy a common enemy. He might be coming for us next."

"I highly doubt it."

"Korra, we don't know…"

"I don't know about you Tenzin but when I was near him, I felt no malice from him. Sure, he ignored me like I'm nothing but he felt alright."

"Felt alright? Korra. Do you even listened to yourself?"

"I know I don't make a lot of sense right now but something's telling me that we can trust him."

Tenzin wanted to argue more but he felt it would be pointless. Korra looked at the alleyway that Agito disappeared into.

"Next time. Let me handle him. I felt like I need to talk to him."

In a dark room at an unknown location, Amon was wearing a hooded cape along his Equalist uniform, listened to the news broadcast on the radio. Both on the Avatar's arrival and the attacked by a mysterious unknown creature. He smirked to himself, feeling he could use the situation to his advantage. His second in command walked up to him.

"What do you know about those creatures Lieutenant?" Amon asked him.

"From the reports and its attack patterns, it seemed to only attack benders. This 'Agito' only seemed to appear if the creatures itself appeared and attacked the populace."

"Excellent. We absolutely could use this to our advantage."

"What of the Avatar? What do you want to do Amon?" The lieutenant asked in returned.

"The Avatar has arrived early. It looks like we'll have to accelerate our plans. Take the necessary steps Lieutenant. Also, ask our friend to create something to counter the Agito if he ever decided to interfere with our plan. Tell him to get it ready in a few months."

"That's a big task to do accomplish in a few months but I understand. I'll do as you asked Amon."

The Lieutenant left the room to start his duties. Amon turned his gaze to a large map of the world.

"Soon, we will meet Avatar and not even your precious Agito could help you."

Reasons why Kamen Rider Agito was chosen:

Agito is still grounded in my opinion. It don't have too many gimmicks, so it wouldn't turned the story into a jumble mess later on.

Agito's source of power was considered mystical in the series and the Avatar universe is spiritual and mystical in its own way that I felt it could work together.
