Chapter 24 In brightest day
Amanda was once more having the ring from the pod Sean was found in examined but like before nothing new was coming up.
"Still nothing?" Lane asked making her sigh.
"What the hell is the purpose of this damn thing?" Amanda asked.
"Purpose of what?" Sean asked walking in.
"This." Amanda said showing the ring.
"The hell is that?" Sean asked.
"We found this shortly after you showed up in the South. I've been examining it for 13 years. Nothing." Amanda said as he held it.
"Maybe it can only activate in certain moments." Sean said putting it on.
Later
"I think this ring is more of my thing." Korra said looking at it.
"Why? Because you swing both ways? OW!" Sean yelled as she smacked him in the back of the head.
"HA HA." Korra said unamused. "I meant for jewelry." Korra said.
"Since do you care about Jewelry?" Sean asked as she grins at him.
"I like a little bling every now and then." Korra said.
"Whatever. I wonder what this thing does?" Sean asked before spotting Jimmy and some new guy. "Olsen." Sean said getting his attention.
"Oh hey. Sean, Korra. It's been a while." Jimmy said.
"Yeah. Who's your friend?" Korra asked.
"Oh this is Kyle. He's an artist for the Daily planet. Joined after Lois left. Still surprised she wanted to be your secretary." Jimmy said making him chuckle.
"So you draw then huh?" Korra asked.
"Yeah but Perry White says they aren't all that good." Kyle said.
"Let me see." Sean said as he handed him some of his work as he took a look at it. "I swear. That fucking moron wouldn't know talent if it bit him in the ass." Sean said annoyed at how short sighted White was.
"At least you and Jimmy like them. Everyone else I submitted to said no because of the same reason." Kyle said.
"I got a friend in the comic business who might be interested. I'll set you up a meeting." Sean said.
"Really? Thanks." Kyle said.
Later
Sean was in his office signing some approval papers for new weapons technology that came from Yuatja tech. Of course Sean made it clear that while any other technology would be acceptable all weapons technology would be only used by those currently in the Wolf Pack to keep them from falling into the wrong hands. Keys agreed to that knowing if they did end up in enemy hands it could mean disaster if Joker of all people got his hands on them or worse Luthor.
Speaking of whom the bald business man was sentenced to a month in prison for his attempted murder of the people of Atlantis much to his anger.
"Ha. If only he could stay there till his death. One of the reasons I fucking hate lawyers." Sean said.
"Unless they work and sleep with you."
Sean looked up seeing a woman with white skin light brown eyes and short brown hair. She also had large breasts and ass wearing more professional clothes.
"Hey Masane." Sean said looking at his company's best lawyer making her smile.
"So. Should I get a bonus for my part in making sure Luthor does some time?" Masane asked making him smirk.
"You and Saya are all the same. Expecting something for your work." Sean said making her giggle.
"But shouldn't we?" Masane asked leaning down exposing her cleavage.
"Course." Sean said before an alert came up. Looking up at the screens he noticed a shuttle getting hit by something.
"I'll handle the shuttle. You see what that was." Superman said on the comms.
"Roger that." Sean said as he got his gear on and left.
Flying to a crash site he found an alien space craft before landing and opened it up showing an alien inside before rushing to him.
"Hang on...Let me help you."Beowulf said trying to help.
"No...It's too late for me...He needs your help now."
"Who?" Beowulf asked.
"The Third Lantern of Earth."
Suddenly his body glowed before vanishing leaving only his suit behind.
"Hmm." Beowulf said before noticing a yellow light as it descended as it vanished leaving a man with red skin and black hair with some yellow ring making him look at his multicolored one noticing the similarities.
"If your here for the guy inside he's dead...Or something." Beowulf said stepped aside as he used his ring to scan the ship.
"So tell me Young Blood. Did the Lanterns send you?"
"The what?" Beowulf asked before getting blasted into a rock.
"I've never killed one of your kind before. Doing so will..."
Only for Beowulf to grow his wings and blasted him with lightning making him yell in shock as he fell down.
"I don't know who the fuck you are pal and honestly now I don't give a shit. You're a deadman." Beowulf said with his maul out.
"Wait a minute...I know you. Beowulf. The son of Wolf's famous student. I actually feel honored."
"Who are you?" Beowulf asked before a green light nearly hit the man making him look up seeing a few people.
The first was an African American man while the second was a man with white skin and brown hair with a mask on.
The third was an alien woman with orange skin black hair and point ears and green glowing eyes. She also had medium sized breasts while her behind was fairly large.
"Katma Tui, Hal Jordan and John Stewart. I'll deal with you later." With that he flew off.
"What a fucking cocksucker." Beowulf said.
"Sorry about that kid. Sinestro has always been a pain." Hal said.
"Who are you guys?" Beowulf asked.
"We're the Green Lanterns. Guardians of the Galaxy." Katma Tui said.
"Beowulf." Beowulf said.
"We know who you are. You've been an interest to the higher ups for some time." John said.
"Oh yeah?" Beowulf asked before Hal noticed the ring on him.
"Where'd you get that?" Hal asked.
"What this? It was found in the same place I was. No idea how it works. But I noticed he and you have similar rings but only one color. Whats that all about?" Beowulf asked.
"There are multiple groups of Lanterns in the galaxy. Each work differently from one another. Green is powered by Will. Yellow is fear. Red is Rage." Katma Tui said.
"So these rings are powered by emotions." Beowulf said.
"Basically. It takes time and training to master them." John said.
"But theres never been one with all of the lantern colors before. Which means it probably can be used for everything. Give a shot." Hal said.
"Ok." Beowulf said holding his hand out before a green projection appeared of a chain gun making him chuckle. "Oh...I just got myself a new ace." Beowulf said making them smirk.
Later
Sinestro was fighting against both Sage and the new Lantern Kyle who the ring choose.
"You fight well for a Human. Sage I believe. I've heard about you. The Green Lanterns have observed you both for some time." Sinestro said.
"Whatever pal." Sage said as she flew up before blasting him with lightning but he blocked it easily.
"Even if you had the same training as me your still beneath me." Sinestro said before getting hit by a red hammer.
"How bout me?" Beowulf said making him face him seeing his ring.
"A ring with all the lantern powers? Impossible...GIVE IT TO ME!" Sinestro yelled before he made a yellow shield to block him as he tried to attack him.
"I can get used to this." Beowulf said amused.
"Seriously? You keep getting new shit." Sage said as Sinestro roared trying to blast him but Sage blasted him in the back making him yell in pain as he fell down out cold.
"I'll take that." Kyle said taking his ring off before Sage crushed it.
Later
"We are grateful to all of you for taking down Sinestro and saving our new Green Lantern." One of the Guardians said.
"As for this ring...Where did you find it?" Another asked.
"My mother said it was found in the pod where I was found 13 years ago. Never really looked into it though." Sean said as they examined it.
"It does have the properties of all the lanterns. And you have shown you have potential to use it."
"Which is why Katma Tui will remain on Earth to help train you while Jordon and Stewart also remain to keep an eye on the sector."
"And what happened to Sinestro?" Korra asked.
"Imprisoned once more. It's not the first time he's escaped."
Later
"So this ring hold the power to make anything to fight your enemies as well as draw power from emotions." Amanda said.
"Basically. Katma will be helping to make sure I know how to properly use it." Sean said.
"Good. The More people we have here the better." Amanda said.
As Sean left he passed the ARGUS library before seeing someone a couple years younger than him in there reading. She had pale skin violet hair and eyes wearing a black leotard and purple cape. She also had medium sized breasts and bubble butt.
"Hey Raven." Sean said making her smile. Raven was one of Sean's more mysterious lovers since she kept most of her life secret to everyone but him and Korra. He knew she was half demon because of her father Trigon who had tried to use her to conquer earth but she wouldn't help him. A year ago he had found her and figured out she wasn't human completely.
She expected him to be judging and hateful but instead he offered to help her learn control of her powers fully.
Which is what bloomed into their relationship.
"Looks like you got yourself a new toy." Raven said amused.
"Yeah. I think Korra's getting Jealous. Maybe I should make a weapon for her to make feel better." Sean said making her snort.
"Please. Just sleep with her and she'll let it go." Raven said.
"You would know miss who loves being dominated." Sean said making her blush before glaring at him.
"I hate you sometimes." Raven said before he kissed her making her smile.
"If you hated me you wouldn't be with me." Sean said as she rolled her eyes in amusement.
Later
Amanda was once more examining the pod to see if anything new could be found.
"Anything?" Amanda asked.
"Nothing so far but..." One of the scientists said before an alert came up as one of the compartments opened up.
Amanda walked to it before finding some white scarab like object inside and picked it up.
"What do we have here?" Amanda asked as it was scanned.
"This technology is heavily advanced. More so than the Yuatja tech. Whoever made him into what he is today...Has access to technology that could be...Millions of years ahead of our time."
"Which begs the question as per usual. Who made him this way?" Amanda asked.
