Chapter 29 Voice in the night
Its been a few days since Amon's power to take other peoples bending away became public knowledge.
Now every Bender in the City was afraid beyond words.
Right now though.
Korra was asleep in the Penthouse next to Sean.
Thats when she woke up with wide eyes breathing heavily as she held out her hand seeing flames making her sigh in relief.
"It was only a dream." Sean said making her sigh as she laid back down.
"I know." Korra said.
"Relax. That ain't gonna happen to ya." Sean said making her smile as sleep claimed them both.
Next morning
Tenzin was in a council meeting regarding Amon.
"There is a madman running around our beloved city, threatening to tear it apart. We need to create a task force whose sole mission it find Amon and bring him to justice." Tarrlok said.
"Absolutely not. A move that aggressive would only further divide benders and Non-Benders." Tenzin said.
"Tarrlok, I'm inclined to agree with your proposal. But who would even head up such a task force?" A council woman asked.
"It would be my honor and privilege to accept such a duty." Tarrlok said.
"This is just another one of your ploys to gain more power isn't it?" Tenzin accused.
"All I'm trying to do is help. Think back. 42 Years ago, Republic city was threatened by another Dangerous man...Yakone. Your father wasn't afraid to face him head on." Tarrlok said.
"This is a completely different situation. And how dare you compare yourself to Avatar Aang!" Tenzin said angered.
"Amon is not going to stop with the Bending Triads. Eventually he will come for all us benders...Our friends...Our families...Vote for this Task force and I will stop Amon before it's too late. Or there is another option we could use." Tarrlok said.
"And what is that?" Tenzin asked.
"Why we enlist the help of the Justice League. Ask them to capture anyone even associated to Amon's little group of insurgents." Tarrlok said.
"That is not what they do. They actually bring Justice. And the Equalist movement was caused by laws like the ones Chief Beifong keeps enforcing to try to deter this alliance." Tenzin said.
"I can't deny Chief Beifong has been a problem lately. But if the League solves our problems perhaps she'll understand why we need them. Now all those in favor of the Task force?" Tarrlok asked getting all but Tenzin to agree making him grin.
Later
Tenzin and his family were getting ready to eat.
"We are grateful for this delicious food, for happiness, for compassion and..." Tenzin tried to say.
"I'm not interrupting, Am I?" Tarrlok asked walking in making Sean and Korra look at him.
"This is my home, Tarrlok. We're about to eat dinner." Tenzin said.
"Good, because I am absolutely famished. Airbenders never turn away a hungry Guest, am I right?" Tarrlok asked making him sigh.
"I suppose." Tenzin said sitting down while his wife frowned making him shrug.
"Oh, you must be the famous Miss Korra and the CEO of Global Tech . It is truly an honor. I am councilman Tarrlok, Representative from the Northern Water Tribe." Tarrlok said.
"A pleasure." Sean said as he sat down.
"What is this about Tarrlok?" Tenzin asked knowing he was up to something.
"Patience, Tenzin. I'm getting to that." Tarrlok said making him frown. "As you may have heard, I am assembling a task force. I will strike at the heart of the revolution. And I want the Justice League to join us.." Tarrlok said.
"Huh?" Korra asked.
"What?" Tenzin asked.
"It's no secret Global Tech funds the League. And since their job is to fight those who would harm others. It makes sense they would join us. Which is why I would like..." Tarrlok tried to say.
"Get out." Sean said shocking him.
"I...Beg your Pardon?" Tarrlok said.
"I said...Get out." Sean said glaring at him.
"Have I said something to offend you?" Tarrlok asked.
"Everything. I looked into you when we got here after Beifong tried to arrest me. You have made life difficult for Non Benders while making life easier for Benders. Which is unfair and part of the reason this whole group began to rise up." Sean said.
"Well...Perhaps I didn't consider them." Tarrlok tried to say.
"You didn't even try to. My answer is no. I won't ask the League to do something they would say no to anyway. Their duty is to the people. ALL of them. Not just the ones people like you tell us to serve." Sean said.
"Now hold on a minute. Our duty is to the people completely. It's just...Benders are better suited for their jobs." Tarrlok said.
"Like I said...Get out." Sean said making him clear his throat.
"I'm not giving up on you that easily. It has been a pleasure." Tarrlok said leaving.
Scoffing Sean left.
"I'll be back." Korra said going after him.
Sean was outside before he pulled out his Glaive and sliced a tree apart.
"You ok?" Korra asked.
"Yeah. I just hate when people ask us to do what we're against. It's people like him that piss me off." Sean said as she held him.
"I know. But something tells me he won't quit." Korra said.
"Oh no ya think?" Sean asked sarcastically making her giggle holding him close.
Later
Sean sighed as he walked down the street since he decided to clear his head.
Thats when someone drove into him.
"OW!" Sean yelled.
"Oh I am so sorry. I didn't see you."
"How the fuck do you not..." Sean tried to say before seeing it was a woman with white skin raven hair and light green eyes making him blink. "Asami?" Sean asked making her look at him.
"How do you know my...Sean?" Asami asked.
"Holy fucking hell. I haven't seen you in 13 years since we met the day we left this universe." Sean said.
Sean and Korra had met Asami 13 years ago when Bruce needed her father's help and formed a nice bond.
Now looking at her the years had clearly been kind seeing her with large breasts and a heart shaped ass.
"Nice to see you too. And clearly have a mouth on you." Asami said making him chuckle. "So I hear you're rather famous in your universe. Being the CEO of the biggest company there." Asami said making him shrug.
"What can I say? I was very smart to build my own company." Sean said as they left.
Later
Sean and Korra were playing with their pets as Korra rubbed Naga's belly while Sean with Komodo in a larger size rubbed his neck.
Thats when Bolin walked to them.
"Hello fellow Teammates super heroes." Bolin said making them chuckle.
"Hey dude. I hope you're staying out of trouble this time cause next time you get into trouble we're gonna start charging and it ain't gonna be cheep." Sean said making Korra burst out laughing.
"Course not. Missed you guys at practice this week." Bolin said.
"Yeah, sorry about that. We got caught up in training." Korra said.
"Aw, it's all right. We're probably out of the tournament anyway, unless some money miraculously drops out of the sky by tomorrow. Anyway, reason I came by was to give you this." Bolin said handing her a cupcake and rose making her giggle.
"Wow, thanks. Whats this for?" Korra asked.
"Hello! You guys saved me from Amon. I mean that guy was scary." Bolin said.
"Yeah something about his story bugs me. I read up on spirits and theres been more problems with than them actually helping people. So I'm a little skeptical to think they told him the Avatar failed." Sean said as someone who worked for Tarrlok came in and gave them a bag of goods.
"Tarrlok sends his compliments and urges you to reconsider his offer." She said as Komodo growled making her yelp as she ran off in fear making them laugh.
"Goodboy." Sean said giving him a treat.
"Who's this Tarrlok guy?" Bolin asked.
"Councilman Tarrlok and he wants the League to work with him in fighting the Equalists. He thinks because I fund the group I can influence them." Sean said.
"Oooh." Bolin said.
Later
Sean and Mowgli were coming back to the Island after having a nice date when they saw a fancy new car making Sean's eyes twitch.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Sean asked.
"Wow. He seriously wants you to get the League to join him." Mowgli said making him groan.
Arriving out back Sean sighed as he laid down.
"I see Councilman Tarrlok's gifts are getting...Expensive." Amanda said.
"Oh my god. I knew this was gonna happen when the League was formed. Idiots who wanna use it for their own gains." Sean said.
"All groups face that kind of problem. Can't be helped." Amanda said.
"Ugh. So did you find anything about Amon?" Sean asked.
"No. Theres nothing on him. I even checked his story and nothing comes up. He's most likely lying to people to get them to fully support his cause." Amanda said.
"I figured as much. I knew his story had to be a lie since I looked into spirits before and none of it was actually good. Seems they have a tendency to cause nothing but trouble." Sean said.
Later
Sean sighed as he held Korra close as Jinora and Ikki were playing a game.
Thats when the Woman from before showed up.
"Miss Korra and Mr. Kruger. I have something for you."
"Will you tell that fuckhead I am not gonna have the League join his damn task force! So stop sending us gifts." Sean yelled.
"It's not a gift. It's an invitation."
"To what?" Sean asked taking it.
"Tarrlok is throwing a gala in your honor. All of Republic City's movers and shakers will be there. The councilman humbly requests you're attendance."
Both looked at each other raising an eyebrow.
Soon enough everyone arrived at City hall.
Sean sighed as he was in a suit while Looking Korra and laughed seeing her in a fancy dress.
"What? I'm the Girlfriend of the most famous CEO. I gotta look the part." Korra said amused making him chuckle.
"You look amazing." Sean said making her smile.
"What about me?" Mowgli asked in a Red Backless dress just above her hips with the front cut down the middle showing her cleavage and navel.
"Jungle beauty is what you are." Sean said making her blush.
"I'm not sure what Tarrlok is up to but keep your guard up." Tenzin said as said man approached them.
"So glad you could join us. The City awaits it's heroes." Tarrlok said leading them away.
Sean groaned as he wished this whole thing was over.
"Not having fun huh?" Clark asked surprising him.
"What are you doing here?" Sean asked.
"Tarrlok called in a lot of people from this and our universe. What is he up to?" Clark asked.
"He wants the League to do his dirty work against the Equalists. Non Benders who...Have a grudge against Benders because of criminals. Not that I blame them." Sean said.
"This is the first I've heard about it." Clark said.
"Thats because Chief Beifong won't let any information pass between here and anywhere else because she hates heroes in General thinking we're nothing but vigilantes." Sean said.
"But we're not though. We work with the governments." Clark said.
"I've tried to say the same thing but she won't listen." Sean said.
"Kruger?" Hiroshi said.
"Hey. Long time no see Sato." Sean said.
"You've certainly grown the last time I saw you 13 years ago." Hiroshi said.
"Yeah that will happen." Sean said.
"Anyway my daughter told me Korra was part of the Fire Ferrets and that you can't currently pay for it because of Chief Beifong and the unfair laws she made. I'd be more than happy to help pay their way in." Hiroshi said.
"Thanks. What is her problem?" Sean asked.
"I honestly don't know. I think in her mind this alliance will cause more problems but in truth it's actually helped keep this world contained. Crime did go down for the first few years when new technology started up. But then she started making her new laws and it started rising up again." Hiroshi said.
"She can't just pass those laws herself can she?" Clark asked.
"Normally no that has to be passed by the council. But she's using loopholes to do so." Hiroshi said.
Thats when Police came in.
"Oh no." Sean said.
Lin came in and stomped towards him.
"What do you want now?" Sean asked before she turned him around and cuffed him.
"You're under arrest." Lin said.
"LIN! That is enough!" Tenzin yelled.
"No! I am sick and tired of this bastard not getting what he deserves. I know he's Beowulf!" Lin yelled shocking everyone.
"Oh for gods sakes." Sean said before she smacked him making him growl.
"Shut your mouth. Your gonna tell me every secret identity of every vigilante there is out there! And then you're all facing deaths row!" Lin yelled.
"No." Sean said before she kneed him in the stomach making him groan.
"LIN! You are are out of line!" Tenzin yelled.
"Shut your mouth!" Lin yelled before Korra turned her around and punched her down shocking everyone.
"Why don't you do all of us a favor and just die." Korra said shocking her.
"Korra." Tenzin said.
"No. She's selfish and petty. Why do you really pass these laws and hate heroes? Give me one good reason!" Korra yelled.
"I don't need to explain myself to you." Lin said.
"Oh but I think you do." Lucifer said walking to her. "See I spoke around with people. And they admitted that life was getting better the first few years this alliance started. But then you got in the way making these laws that make no sense. And started arresting anyone not from this universe just for being here. So tell me this? What is it you desire?" Lucifer asked using his gift.
"I...I...I want people to see things my way." Lin said.
"Ahh. Your selfish. You don't care about anyone but yourself." Lucifer said.
"Thats not true." Lin said.
"Really? What do you call what your doing? Everyone was supportive of this alliance but you. I heard that crime went down in the first few years it began. but then you started making laws that made it rise again." Sean said.
"KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!" Lin roared.
"No. You're only proving my point. You don't care about anyone but yourself." Sean said.
"That is not true. I care about Republic City." Lin said.
"Really? Your job is to uphold the Law. You have not done that at all. You made things worse because you're that selfish. Look around you." Sean said making her do so seeing the sheer hatred everyone had for her making her eyes widen in shock.
"You...You don't all actually believe that?" Lin asked.
"Oh yes they do. Everyone hates you. You have made life hell for everyone here. When things got better you made it worse because you can't accept change." Sean said.
"I...I..." Lin tried to say.
"Do the world a favor and go fucking die in a hole. Where you belong." Sean said getting himself free easily as he left.
"Now wait a minute." Tarrlok said.
"Out of the fucking way." Sean said as he and Korra left along with everyone else as they couldn't stand being in the room anymore.
"Lin." Tenzin said as she looked at him. "You're suspended from your job. Next time...You will be fired." Tenzin said leaving.
"Do you have any idea what you've done! I was gonna try to convince him to have the League stop the Equalists but now I won't get that chance again!" Tarrlok yelled.
"I..." Lin tried to say.
"Get out." Tarrlok said making her sigh.
Later
"Unfucking believable." Sean said annoyed.
"I can't believe she was that selfish." Korra said.
"I can." Pema said as Tenzin gave her a look. "What? I knew from the moment I saw her." Pema said.
"Ugh. I'm suing the Department." Sean said.
"I already suspended her." Tenzin said.
"Thats not enough. You want her to really see how bad she fucked up? This is how." Sean said.
Meanwhile
"I'm being Sued?" Lin asked in shock as Masane gave her a letter.
"You attacked the CEO of Global Tech and made false and unfound claims against him and were gonna kill him for selfish reasons. I'd say thats more than enough to sue the department for say...90% of what you have." Masane said shocking her.
"But I'll have to let people go when I get back if you do that!" Lin yelled.
"And whose fault is that? Oh right. Yours. You violently attacked him and several other people over the years. I'd say your getting what you deserve." Masane said leaving making her growl slamming her head on her desk which was currently cleared of personal items.
Later
Sean sighed as he got himself a drink of soda in his penthouse.
"Well, And I thought Mum was heavily selfish." Lucifer said.
"At this fucking moment I would prefer to be in the same room as her than Chief fuckhead." Sean said making him chuckle.
"Honestly the things most humans do astounds me. Then again most humans are a very complicated lot." Lucifer said.
"No shit. Honestly I can see why Amenadiel and the others didn't like Mankind at first until they met Grandma and then Dad and Crane." Sean said.
"Mmm." Lucifer said.
After that Lucifer left as Sean headed into the shower to relax.
"The Arrogance of that stuck up old hag." Sean said enjoying the warm water on his body.
"You need to relax."
Sean turned seeing Raven in her nude form grinning at him.
And like many of his lovers she also had some tattoos on her body with some black angel wings on her back with a cross in the middle while a Skull was right above her hips.
On her front was a Wolf Head where her heart was while on her stomach was a demon's head and right above her sex was a Raven's head. (Yeah I think she would probably go for these)
"Whoa. Where is this coming from?" Sean asked making her smile as she pulled him close.
"I decided I just wanted to relax and take Korra's idea for that. Besides from the sounds of things you could use a little relaxation." Raven said kissing him which he returned.
Raven moaned into his mouth before placing her left leg behind him as she slowly had him thrust into her making her gasp in shock feeling her barrier break as she lightly sobbed.
Sean smiled as he kissed her tears away making her sigh as she held him close.
Feeling the pain beginning to leave her she felt him slowly thrust into her making her moan and whimper as she held onto him tight.
Raven had her tongue hanging out of her mouth as she experienced new found pleasures she's never experienced in her life.
Yelping she found herself upside down as Sean thrusted into her jackhammer style making her giggle as she just relaxed and enjoyed.
Sean thrusted into her for an hour before she screamed as she came hard for the first time in her life before feeling him come inside her womb making her sigh as she passed out making him chuckle.
"Oh you still got a lot to learn babe." Sean said shutting the water off.
Getting in bed with her she laid her head on his chest making him smile as sleep claimed them both.
Authors Note: I know short Lemon But I am exhausted from work like you wouldn't believe. Now Next Chapter is gonna be full of surprises. Also to the guest who thinks I hate Lin I don't actually hate her. She just sets herself up for situations like this in the first season.
