The newt and the wolf chapter 4 royalty and history
Blake narration
It had been about an hour since we got the message, and now we are making our way through the castle
Normal POV
"Dang girl this is where been hanging out this whole time." Anne said
"I wouldn't said I hang out here but yes staying in the castle has been awesome." Marcy said
"I'll bet." Blake said
"Wow I can't believe we're here." Sprig said
"And we're about to meet the king of Amphibia." Polly said
"Wow just looks at this place am I dressed ok should I worn my silk ascot I'll go back and get it". Hop pop said
"Hey, hey don't stress guys this is no big deal". Marcy said
The doors to the throne open reviling lady Olivia
"Okey frog family You're about to meet king Andrias this is a big deal". Olivia said in a dark tone
"And you jinx us". Blake said
They then walk through the doors into the throne room
"May I present King Andrias Leviathan peacekeeper of a thousand years and the first of his name." Olivia said with a bow
"Now that king sized." Anne said and she wasn't kidding this guy is huge
"Hello planter family." Andrias said in a booming voice before stand "Oh, bring it in you guys bring it in"
"Quick kids bow." Hop pop said while bowing
King Andrias then was hugging the Planter while laughing before letting them go
"I love this guy." Poppy said
"Dear king Andrias just once it wound be nice you followed proper castle etiquette."
He blew a razzberry before saying. "Oh, etiquette smetiquette oh what do we have here." Looking at the two new humans
"Hey." Anne said nervously
"Um hello your majesty." Blake said with a bow
"You two must be Anne and Blake. Sup um am I saying it right Sup." Andrias said
"You got it." Marcy said with a thumb up
"The thumb approval. And here thumb up for you two."
"Oh, uh right back you." Anne said giving the king a thumb up and then giving him a fist bound
"Um yeah man." Blake said doing the same
"Delightful now let's get down to business shall we getting you kids back home safe and sound. Hmm alas without the music box I'm afraid there's nothing I can do Marcy doesn't have it and well I assume that you two don't have it either." Andrias said
"Oh, uh I do have the box." Anne said
"What are you serious?" Marcy asked
"I mean she was holding on to it when we got zap here." Blake said
"Why this is marvelous news come, come let's see it." Andrias said
"Well, I don't have it have it. Hop pop left it with some contact to see what they could learn about it." Anne said
"That maybe was for the best last we need for our only way home getting lost or stolen." Blake said
"But I do have a photo of it." Anne said holding up her phone
"Yes, a photo hmm." Andrias said putting a pink pair of reading glasses to get a better look. "How peculiar Marcy don't say the gems were colored look here they're gray."
"Hey, you're right I never actually noticed that". Anne said rubbing the back of her neck
"This will require further study in the deepest of our archives give me a few days to work with this information at that time we shall reconvene and set a glorious plan in motion." Andrias said
"Great Mar-Mar what can we do to help?" Anne asked
"Can either of you translate ancient amphibian runes?" Marcy asked
"I sure can't." Anne said
"I'll have read your notes first but I'm pretty sure I can figure it out." Blake said
"Splendid until then my dear friends go forth and enjoy the sight of Newtopia. We've booked you a suite at the Hemisphere hotel my treat and here." Andrias said before holding out both arm with close fists. "Pick a hand."
"This hand." Anne said picking the left hand only to find it empty
"Psyche ha ha ha but wait what's this." Andrias said pulling a gold card out of his sleeve. "The royal credit card it can grant you access to do anything in Newtopia. Be safe with it now." As he handed hop pop the card. "Wars have been waged for less
Whoa ho ho ho. We get to explore Newtopia with unlimited money. This is a dream come true come true onward family time to see Newtopia. Sprig said
And with that Anne and the planters left to go get check in to the hotel
"Now that out of the way can someone open a window or something it smell like death warm over in here where is it coming from." Andrias said
"I think that me." Blake said after smelling his armpit
Marcy then stiffs him in a not weird way before her eyes widen
"Pu your right you stick." Marcy said while holding nose
"Hey beside jumping into a lake there wasn't much I could do to get clean here." Blake said
"Well, let fix that guards take Blake to the locker room so he can get clean up." Andrias said
"Wait before I go Marcy can you hold on to these for me." Blake said handing her his vine and spear
"Yeah sure." Marcy said taking the vine and spear
"Ok now I'm ready." Blake said walking off with the guards for a well overdue shower
One hour later
"Was the fled bath really necessary?" Blake said with a deadpan wearing a bathrobe
"Sorry but we just wanted to be sure". Andrias said
"Now then let get you a new outfit by the way what happen to your old one?" Marcy asked
"That was my old one." Blake said
They then went to a fitting room
After a few minutes of get his measurements taken and getting a few design choses in
"Alright I should have it done within the hour." A pink newt Said as he left to start working on the outfit
"Hey, your majesty can you leave me and Marcy alone for a while I need to talk to her about personal stuff." Blake said
"Alright but I better not find you two making out or anything." Andrias said leaving two blushing teenage behind
"Well, that was awkward so what up?" Marcy asked
"It's, time for that history lesson now where to start the story." Blake said
"How about the reason you been keeping your powers a secret." Marcy said
"That I can work with it started somewhere around 600 to 700 years ago I'm not 100% sure on when it started." Blake said
"What started?" Marcy asked
"The hunts my kind were hunted like animal and almost droved to extinction by people who feared us as monsters." Blake said
"Did you really think I would turn on you?" Marcy asked
"No but my family were worried that you couldn't keep your mouth shut." Blake said
"Good point." Marcy said with an awkward laugh
"Always there were people they trusted over the years even some that were welcome into the family" Blake said
"So, were you planning on telling me someday?" Marcy asked
"Yes, but I'm pretty sure it would be around Prom at the earliest if we were lucky." Blake said
"Your family really doesn't trust me." Marcy said
"Well, you don't have the best track record when come to staying out of trouble." Blake said
"Ok fair enough." Marcy said
"Back to the story because living in the forest was a dead giveaway, they fled and were Almont always on the move until they found a small farming town." Blake said
"Oh, so that when your family got into the farming business." Marcy said
Yeah, pretty much anyway that when they figure out their magic is great for farming but as the town grew over time it wasn't long before the church showed up and they had to leave. Blake said
"Did the church really hate you guy that much?" Marcy asked
"Well hate may not be the right word, but they did fear us thinking that we were monsters. People are just afraid of what they don't understand." Blake said in a sad tone
"If you want to stop that ok." Marcy said
"No, it's ok things get better from here always somewhere in the mid-1600s some in the know friends' mange to get them on some ships headed to America to start a new life there and things were going great until the witch trails started". Blake said
"Wait you guys were the cause of that." Marcy said
"No but we were frame for it by some crazy people who were trying to get magic of own." Blake said
"So are witches real?" Marcy asked
"Yes, but I'm not sure if their still around today." Blake said
"So, what happen next?" Marcy asked
"Oh, right thank to some new friends they escape west and welcome there. During the war for Independence, they made a deal with the colonist they'll would help with healing and supplies if they promise to keep their existed a secret and to leave them alone when the war was over." Blake said
"So, since I've never heard of a Wolfwalker until now I'm guessing then held up their end of the deal?" Marcy asked
"Yes, they held up their end of deal and soon the Wolfwalkers were living peacefully lives farming and as the families grew, they spend out all over the country and became the giant family business you see today." Blake said
As Blake finish story Marcy decided to share some of her stories since coming to amphibia until
"It is done". The pink newt holding Blake's new outfit
"Wow time really flew by". Marcy said
"Alright go try it on." Newt said handing it to him
"Wow man this is some nice work." Blake said looking it over
"Come on I want to see it." Marcy said pushing him to the privacy screen
"Alright keep your skirt on I'll be done in a sec." Blake said as he went behind a privacy screen to change. "So how do I look."
He was wearing a gray short sleeves shirt with a black chest plate with yellow claw marks painted on with a holder for his spear over it also has a bandolier with slots for potions, black shorts and boots.
"You look great it gives you an alchemist look." Marcy said checking him out
"Well, I am a magic user but no cape for me last thing I want is for it to catch fire like yours." Blake said with a laugh
"I still don't know how that happened." Marcy said
"Alright now that is taken care of, we can now start researching the box and getting you kids home." Andrias said
"Alright lead your majesty." Blake said
As the trio made their to the archives not knowing that this would be the hardest research project they'll ever do.
End of chapter 4
AN I would have finish is sooner but I had some reader block when it came to Blake 2nd design and I asked for help at the end of chapter 3 but no one left a review or PM
While I'm not going wright any new stories until I'm finish with this one (Maybe short side story but that it) but I did come up with some other story ideas that are on my bio if anyone wants them just ask first and remember to credit me

Guest- sorry but no I'm working on one story at time and I don't think it work any way while wolfwalkers and werewolves do have some similar powers but they act very differently wolfwalkers are healer with full control while werewolves are killer with no control
