The newt and the wolf chapter 5 Deadline and datetime
Blake narration
I am SO TRIED we've been at this for two days straight and while my mind doesn't need sleep my human body does and trying to read in wolf form is almost impossible, so I had to pull an all-nighter.
Normal POV
"This is the last book and still nothing on the music box." Marcy said slamming the huge book she was reading
"I don't understand this is the most extensive library in all of amphibia maybe we miss a book somewhere." Andrias said while trying to find said missing book
"It always the last one you check isn't it yawn." Blake said before falling asleep and over
The king and the girl hear a Thud and saw a flash before seeing a wolf in the room
"Aw your wolf form is so cute." Marcy said as she started to pet him before her eyes went wide. "And so fluffy." Now hugging him
"Hey, let me go I'm not pet you know even if the petting feels nice wait what that." Blake said but all they hear was barking
"I think he trying to tell us something." Andrias said
"What is it boy did Timmy fall down the well?" Marcy said
"Who Timmy and what well?" Andrias asked honest confused
Blake than smack her lightly with his tail
"Ow worth it." Marcy said holding her side while Blake broke free
"Guys there a button behind the tapestry." Blake said while pointing at the tapestry
"What don't like the art." Andrias said
"Oh, right I forgot you guys can't understand me while I'm in wolf form." Blake said before going back to his human body and pick himself up. "What I was trying to say is that there a button behind the tapestry."
Marcy then looked behind the tapestry and sure enough there was a button
"Hmm am going press it bop." Marcy said push the button and opening a secret passageway
"Wow a secret library wing did you know about this." Blake said
"No, it must be thousands of years old judging by the smell whew." Andrias said waving his hand
"Well, I've smelled worse from the boy's locker room, but this could the break we need come on." Blake said as they started going down the staircase
As our trio made their way down the stair Marcy foot slip and would have fallen down the rest of the way down had Blake not caught her
"Whoa thanks for the save." Marcy said
"Anytime but please watch where you're going." Blake said
"Sorry by the way how did you know about that button anyway? Marcy asked
"That a bit complicated let's just said while I'm my wolf form I see the world differently then you guys with my wolf vision." Blake said
"How so?" Andrias asked
"It's impossible to describe without sounding high and would just be confusing." Blake said
Our trio finally made it down and were in awe at the ancient library before them until one book caught Blake's eye
"Guys look over there that book has the gems on the cover." Blake said pointing to a very large book
Hours later
"So, we need to find these temples compete their trials to restore the stones power and then we can go home." Blake said as they finish reading
"Yes, and the book tells us where to find the first temples but that can wait, I think a break from research to rest and recharge ourselves might do you two some good plus I have a big meeting tomorrow anyway" Andrias said
"A day off does sound good and it is getting late let hit the hay" Marcy said
"Goodnight you two sleep tight." Andrias said leave the two alone
"Come on Marcy let get you to bed," Blake said
"Yawn carry me." Marcy said
"Sign your lucky that I found that cute." Blake said pick her up and carrying her bridal style to her room
The next morning
Knock, knock
"5 more minutes." Marcy said trying to go back to sleep
"Rise and shine sleepy head." Blake said opening the door
"Good morning." Marcy said rubbing the sleep from her eyes
"So, any plans for today maybe make a date out of it." Blake said
"How about the park it looks nice day so about a picnic?" Marcy said looking out the window
"Great idea I'll leave you alone to get dress while I make us a picnic basket." Blake said
"What you're not going to help me get ready?" Marcy asked in a joking matter
"One you're a big girl who can dress herself two that more Anne and Sasha's job to help you get ready for dates and three I've seen your underwear before." Blake said
"THAT WAS ONE TIME." Marcy yelled her face beet red
"And it was your own fault for standing on that table." Blake said laughing before leaving to give her some privacy
After getting ready the two made their way out of the castle
"Bye king Andrias bye lady Olivia we'll be back later." Marcy said
"Good luck with the meeting." Blake said
"Have fun you two." Andrias said
"But not too must fun." Olivia said
"Let's go." Marcy said before jumping out window
"Right behind." Blake said following close behind
"Sign what are we going to do with those two." Olivia said
A little later at the park
"So where do you want to set up?" Blake asked
"How about near those trees?" Marcy said pointing at a group of trees
"In the shade good thinking Mar-Mar." Blake said and started laughing as they were setting up
"What so funny?" Marcy asked
"This kind of remind me of the picnic lunch we had for field day last year." Blake said
"Goan don't remind Maggie spray us with her soda." Marcy said
"Yeah, and I throw her into the pool afterward for that and the detention was it worth it." Blake said
"She was so mad at you." Marcy said
"Yeah, she was redder than you were during my first swim meet freshmen year." Blake said
"Hey, it was my first time seeing you shirtless sue me." Marcy said with a blush
"Is that so." Blake said tugging at his shirt
"Down boy we're in public." Marcy said
"Right sorry don't know what got in me there." Blake said
"Yeah, you never acted like that back home." Marcy said
"Maybe this place brought out my wild side." Blake said
"Well, you were finally able to then loose for the first in well ever." Marcy said
"Maybe but let's not think about that too must it our day off after all." Blake said
"Yeah, let just enjoy our day." Marcy said
Then finish their picnic they decided to walk around a bit Blake saw what look like a chessboard table
"Hey what that over there?" Blake said
"Thats a flipwart table." Marcy said
"So how do you play?" Blake asked
"It basely this world version of chess the rule are the same the only different is how the pieces look." Marcy said
"Well then how about we play a few rounds." Blake said
"Don't worry since your rusty I'll go easy on you." Marcy said
Five rounds later
"How was that going easy on me." Blake said after losing badly for the fifth time in a row
"I never said I was going let you win." Marcy said with a smug look on her face
"Grrr no matter what I still can't beat that big brain of your." Blake said with his head down
She then gave him a kiss the check
"Does that make you feel better?" Marcy asked
"Yes" Blake said with a blush on his face
"Well, I think should head back before lady Olivia sends out a search party." Marcy said
"Has she done that before?" Blake said with a rise eyebrow
"Um once or twice." Marcy said
….
"Ok four time." Marcy said with a pout
He then gave her a kiss on the check.
"Does that make you feel better?" Blake asked
"Yes" Marcy said with a blush
"Come on I'll race you back to castle." Blake said before breaking into a run
"Oh, it on." Marcy said as she chases after him
Later Marcy room
Marcy return to her room to find her purple dress on her bed with a note
"What this 'Meet me in the ballroom for a surprise'." Marcy said reading note out loud
A little later the ballroom
Marcy walked into the ballroom now wearing her dress
"Blake are you here?" Marcy asked looking around for him and saw a band playing in the background and the place was cover in snowflake theme decorations
She got her answer when Blake dropped from the ceiling using his vine as a makeshift rope wearing a tux
"Why Hello, there milady Marcy may I have this dance?" Blake said trying to sound fancy
"Why sir Blake of course you may." Marcy said playing along as the band started to play and the two humans began to dance
"I must milady Marcy you look lovely tonight." Blake said still acting fancy
"Ok buddy how did you pull this off?" Marcy asked breaking character
"I ask king Andrias and lady Olivia if they could set something up while you were getting ready this morning turnout Olivia love a good romantic story." Blake said dropping the act
"Well, they did great job you know what this reminds me of?" Marcy asked
"The winter ball that kind of what I was going for." Blake said
"Aw our first dance." Marcy said touch that everyone pitched in for this
"Yeah, I was so nervous when I asked you to go with me and so must more when I came to pick you up." Blake said
"Yeah, me to it was so hard to find the right look it took me and the girls like 3 hours to get ready." Marcy said
"Well, I can honest said it was worth it even if I did get a death glare from your dad." Blake said
"Aw man what about your mom she took so many pictures." Marcy said laughing a little before it turned sad
"Don't worry we'll beat these temples and get back home I promise." Blake said as the two dance the night away
That night Marcy room
While Marcy was getting ready for bed, she looked at her phone to see a picture of herself and Blake just before the dance
"Did I make the right chose?" Marcy asked herself

Q: How did they meet
A: They met in middle school during their freshman year but I'm still working out the details and I'm open to suggestions
Q: When did they have their first date?
A: They started dating after the winter ball during their freshmen of high school if you want to count that as their first date
Q: Did they ever kissed before?
A: Oh yes, they have but there were two reasons why they haven't been kissing until now was 1 they never had any alone together (besides during the history lesson but that took priority) and didn't want their moment ruined and 2 was that there was more pressing matter like finding their way back home
Q: What is their dating situation?
A: They have been dating for roughly a year before coming to amphibia I say this because don't know when in the year they got sent there so I can't give an accurate timeframe
