Author's note sorry for long wait I've been busy with the holiday season come up plus this is based on a half hour episode I was trying to do this temple in one big chapter but was taking too long so I spit it into two but don't worry part 2 is partly done it's just that I wanted to give you guys something before Halloween
The newt and the wolf chapter 7
The temple of wit part 1
Blake narration
After over two weeks' worth of prep, learning a dead language and learning how to ride a bird we're ready to meet up with Anne and got to the first temple
Normal Pov
We open up in the stable with Marcy packing last of her stuff onto a giant sparrow with golden armor and Blake packing the last of his stuff onto a giant gray king bird with silver armor and Andrias and Olivia watching them from the sidelines
"Ok lady Olivia read over the check list one more before we go." Blake said
"Alright research." Olivia said
"Check." Marcy said holding up some books
"First aid kit." Olivia said
"Check." Blake said holding it up
"Sets of clothes for the both of you." Olivia said
"Check." They both said holding up a bag full of clothes each
"Potions." Olivia said
"Check." Blake said pointing to the Potions on his bandolier
"Winter gear." Olivia said
"Check. Blake said holding a bag with snowflakes on it
"Money". Olivia said
"Check." They said as they each were holding up a sack full of coins
"Alright that should be everything." Olivia said
"Well then, it's time for you two to set off." Andrias said
"King Andrias Lady Olivia, I wanted to thank you again for taking care of us I know Marcy can a bit of a handful sometimes." Blake said that last part jokingly
"Hey" Marcy said indignantly
"But I know that you two deeply care about her so again thank you." Blake said with a bow
"Well, it's good to see that someone around here has some manners." Olivia said
"Hey" Marcy and Andrias said indignantly
"Well Mom always did drill it into our heads to have good manners and not be a pack of wild animals even though we are just that some of the time anyway." Blake said
"Alright let get this quest started let's go Joe." Marcy said getting on the sparrow and flying off
"Hey, wait for me groan maybe Sasha was right we should get one of those kid leashes for her, come on Merlin." Blake said getting on his gray king bird and flying off to catch up.
Hours later in the air
"Aright we should by reaching Wartwood right about now." Blake said
"Hey there, a place to land." Marcy said as the two came in for a landing
"Ahhhh TWO BIRD MONSTERS RIDDEN BY A BUNCH OF SUPPORTS wait what." Hop pop scream as Anne, Sprig and Polly came out of the house
"Hey Planter family." Marcy said
"How have you guys been?" Blake asked
"Marcy, Blake." Anne and Planters said happy to see them
Blake jumped off his bird and landed perfectly while Marcy fell off hers, thankfully Blake caught her
"You need to work on your landing." Blake said putting her down
"Big news everyone we have finished our preparation for the." Marcy said before trailing off. "What is this your house it's so rustic and cute. When was it built third century? No, no, no, no second yes okay." Blake stopped her by putting hand on her shoulder
"Sign as much I love it when you get like this, we're getting off track always we have finished our prep and are we're ready for the first temple." Blake said
Everyone cheers at that
"I just need to see the music box then it's go time." Marcy said doing some air punches
"Sorry about that long flight a lot of pent-up energy." Blake said. "Anyway, Anne the music box if you please."
Anne then pulled out the music box from her backpack
"Good thing they didn't show up a few days ago." Sprig said in a whisper
"What was that?" Blake asked
"Nothing." Polly said
"Here you go." Anne said handing Marcy the music box
"Okay if we studied this correctly then." Marcy said as she pushed hidden buttons on the box which caused the gems to come out, taking one and putting it in her pocket
"Here you go." Marcy said giving the box back to Anne
"Alright let's get this show on the road or to the sky I guess wait Merlin where's Joe?" Blake asked with Merlin pointing to Joe
Joe was doing some kind of dance for Bessie who was blushing
"Joe sparrow leaves that snail alone." Marcy said
"Um Marcy I hate break it you, but Joe is filtering with Bessie, and it looks like it's working." Blake said not sure whether to be impress, gross out, both or nether
"Alright let's get going." Marcy said and for some reason everyone but Blake and Hop pop got on Joe
"Kind of cramped up here." Anne said trying to squeeze in
"Where do I sit?" Hop pop asked
"You can ride with me Hop pop." Blake said as the two got on Merlin
Some time later in the air
"According to our research these four ancient temples are filled difficult challenges to keep out the unworthy. All we have to do is complete the challenges and then we can recharge the stone." Blake said
"Nifty so what kind of challenges are we taking." Anne said
"The first temple is said to specifically challenge one's intelligence so, we're pretty sure it full of puzzles no frog, toad or newt in history has ever solved it." Marcy said that last part a serious tone
"Marcy tone it down you're scaring them." Blake said
"Sorry but don't worry none of them were Marcy Wu master RTS player, captain of the chess club, straight A student except for gym but that I was only be reading in class which only proves my point." Marcy said
"Ok just be careful you tend to zone anything else out when you get like this, and I don't want repeat of the snake incident." Anne said
"In my defense I got bored waiting for Blake to show up and wanted to do some shiny hunting." Marcy said
"Hey, I was only five minutes late for our date because my sister was hogging the bathroom don't blame me for wondering off and almost becoming snake food, we weren't even going to the zoo we were going to see a movie." Blake said
"It's called being in the zone it pretty much my superpower." Marcy said
"From someone who was born with real superpowers I can honestly said that it can also turned into your greatness weakness." Blake said
"Okay just don't forget about us. This place is going to be dangerous and we're here to help." Anne said
"Oh, please like I could ever forget you guy's Penny, Sprout." Marcy said forgetting the Planter's kid names
"Polly and Sprig." The planter siblings said together
"Hey, wait a minute I thought you said you could talk to animals couldn't you just tell the snake to stop. Marcy said
"Well yes and no I can talk to animals it's just that the animal in question has to be smart enough to understand me, be able to talk back and be willing to listen oh look we're here." Blake said
They landed in a clearing surrounded by tree and green glowing brain shape mushrooms
"Welcome to the amygdala wood home of the first temple." Marcy said
"Speaking of temple, I think you way overhyped this place." Polly said pointing to an outhouse
"Polly that an outhouse the temple is over there." Blake said pointing to the temple that look like a Mayan pyramid
As our group entered the temple Polly unknowingly step on a tile that causing a message in strange language appeared on the wall
"Did we learn an entire dead language just for today?" Marcy said
"Yes, we did and I'm really glad my mind doesn't need sleep." Blake said
"Keeper of the box one strong of mind, three trials await that will restore the stones shine." Marcy read out loud the writing on the wall
"So, three trials got it." Blake said as a set of large stone doors opened up revealing a small room with seemingly nowhere to go
"A dead end well we tried our best and that what counts." Polly said
"Wait a minute I think the puzzle is that little cube over there." Blake said as they walk to said cube
"You mean is thing." Anne said picking up the cube which trap her glowing green bubble and floated her up and out of reach
"Frog, help us a cursed cube possessed by evil magic." Hop pop said
"No, no it the puzzle. Also, I'm pretty sure that's a magnetic field hold her up." Marcy said
"Isn't that what I just said?" Hop pop asked
"Not even close." Blake said with a deadpan
"Well, whatever it is all your marbles." Anne said tossing the cube to Marcy making the bubble pop and Anne to fall
"Anne wait don't!" Blake yelled as he rushes to caught her
"Thanks man." Anne said as Marcy caught the cube and floated out of reach
"Whoa this thing got like a zillion permutations if this temple thinks it can beat me it got another thing coming." Marcy said as she started to mess around with the cube
As she did this the room move with every turn made part of room move with it for the floor, walls and even the ceiling or pieces of room to pop out of place all the tossing the five around like ragdolls but before long she solves it opening the door to the next room and came back to the ground with the bubble popping and the other five falling for the ceiling
"We did it one down two to go" Marcy said as she smash the cube on the floor. "How fun is this." Before running off to the next trial
"Wow Anne you wouldn't kidding about her being in the zone." Polly said
"Not to mention she a tad over competent." Hop pop said
"Can't argue with the results though." Sprig said
"Sigh yeah and we should go after her before she hurts herself." Blake said
As our hero's ran to catch up with Marcy, they couldn't help but wonder what other horrors awhile them in this temple

Author note I like to ask you guy for some help I'm having some writer block when come to Blake's temple I have the first trail figure out and an a idea for the second but I'm drawing a blank for the third

Omake 1 Marcy and Blake's Q A part 1 idea by Me
We open up on our couple in Marcy's room having some down time
"Hey Blake, was wondering can I ask you some question about Wolfwalkers?" Marcy asked
"Sure, go right ahead." Blake said as Marcy took out a notebook
"Ok question 1 when in wolf form do you see in Black and white or color?" Marcy asked
"Color and very colorful when I use my wolf vision." Blake said as Marcy started writing down
"Wolf vision? Marcy asked
"It's a power we have in both forms but it's more effected in wolf form it's lets us see the world kind of like a 3D 360 degree moving water painting and without even needing our eyes but our noses." Blake said
"Wow that so cool hey you've never used it to peek into the girl locker room, have you?" Marcy asked
"Of course, not it doesn't let me see though wall." Blake said
"Would you if could?" Marcy asked
"Maybe but I'm pretty sure you would be tempted to if the role were revered." Blake said
"Fair enough always question 2 how strong are you?" Marcy asked
"Not sure before coming here anywhere between 3 to 5 times stronger than a normal human but now I never had a chance to test it." Blake said
"Well, why don't we test that now you can answer more of my question later." Marcy said taking his hand and running off to the gym

Omake 2 the gravity of the situation idea by me
Wolf farmhouse Alex's room midnight the night the quartet disappeared
"Come on pick up." Alex said into her phone
"Hello." A male voice on the other line
"Mason finally you pick up the phone what were you doing making out with Pacifica." Alex said
"Something like that." A female voice on the other line
"Why calling me at this hour always shouldn't you be with your family in the fields." Mason said
"Blake gone missing." Alex said
"WHAT"
"He was going to Anne's birthday party but he, Anne, Marcy, and Sasha never show up." Alex said her voice filled with worry
"How can we help?" Mason asked
"I'm not sure but whatever is going on is definitely supernatural there was this giant piller of light." Alex said
"We'll get everyone and come up with a plan." Mason said
"But we'll do in the morning given it pass midnight." Pacifica said
"Ok Night Dipper Night Paz and thanks." Alex said before hanging up

Great chapter!
I really love how the sleepover turned out, which "sleepover to end all sleepovers" is one of my favorite episodes of Amphibia. Which make it totally worth the wait. Also, the torn up picture they stumbled upon kind of raises questions. Like, who was that golden figure with young Andrias? That would set up a good connection between the wolfwalkers and Amphibia itself. Speaking of questions, I was wondering when someone would ask that question, Since the question of why Blake's Wolfwalker family is Catholic when they hate Catholics, plus Steve the skunk and snowflake the family dog, is kinda interesting, which explains more about the family. I love how Blake easily talked Marcy into letting Anne go with the Plantars. Kinda shows how much he cares about all of his friends. Also, the end part with the smoke bomb is probably the funniest moment I ever read.

Blake and his family don't hate Catholics just people who used it to justify their horrible actions a good example of this is Philip Wittebane from the owl house look how much religion has change in the last few hundred years. Besides Robyn and her father were likely Catholic themself
Steve and snowflake aren't going to have a role they would just use to set up a joke.

Quick question, is Blake a descendent of Robyn of Mebh? Or is his family a different pack?
Blake is a descendent of Mebh that why he's a red head it's a dominant trait pass through the generation also I wanted to give him a unique hair to the other

Nice work! Love how the whole sleepover played out. The entire sleepover chapter was outstanding and the last part kind of threw me off, in a hilarious way. However, the torn picture with the golden figure shows that Andrias may have had a history with or known something about the Wolfwalkers. I just hope that Blake is prepared for what comes next if the group finds out. Can't wait to explore more on Marcy and Blake's relationship test while Blake helps Anne, Sasha, and the planters find a way home while secrets come to play.
And now that you mentioned it, if Blake's family did hate the church for all of the years of being on the run, what made Blake think of going to a school that is clearly a Catholic school? Also, how many family members does Blake have on his family farm? Idk, I kind of find it interesting to learn more about Blake's wolfwalker family. The bottom line, love the chapter. And I'm enjoying this story so far.

A lot 3 (maybe 4) generation worth plus all the in the know workers (most are multi generational) haven't figure out many names yet beside his older sister Alex think like the Madrigal family from Encanto only the family bit bigger and the house isn't alive or magic and the family really is happy
