Happy holidays everyone I'm back with my first purely original chapter this will take new wartwood's place and let me tell you this was not easy to write for more than one reason but I wanted to get this done before Christmas, so this is my gift to you all enjoy
The newt and the wolf chapter 9 Coming clean
Marcy's narration
Ok Marcy you can do this just go out there and tell Blake and Anne the truth that you're the reason we're trap in another world you've known them for years they'll understand hopefully maybe oh who am I kidding if I tell them I'm a dead woman
Normal POV with Marcy
After getting herself ready for the day Marcy exited the fwagon and was greeted with the sight of the planters tending to the fields
"Good morning, Planters." Marcy said
"Good morning, Marcy." The Planters said
"Wow Marcy did you sleep at all last night you look tried." Polly said bluntly
"I'm fine just had some trouble falling asleep in a new place." Marcy said
"What too use to castle life." Polly said in a teasing manner
"Something like that so where are Blake and Anne?" Marcy asked not see them around
"Anne giving Blake a tour around town they would have taken you with them, but you were asleep, so they figure they let you sleep in after what happen yesterday and give you the tour later." Hop pop said
"There still some leftover breakfast in kitchen if you're hungry." Sprig said
"Thanks." Marcy said as she went in inside to eat
Meanwhile with Blake and Anne in the town
"I still can't believe that this toadstool guy stole the town taxes and don't get any for repercussions his actions he should have been banned from rerunning for mayor ever again." Blake said as they walk pass the broke statue
"Yeah, but he did help save people when toad tower fell so maybe there a heart in there somewhere." Anne said
"Maybe but I not trusting that guy anytime soon." Blake said
"Fair enough." Anne said
"So where to next?" Blake asked
"How about I introduced you to Sprig's friend Ivy." Anne said
"Sure, she the one you try to play cupid with, right?" Blake asked
"Yep." Anne said
"And you didn't learn anything from Mabel's failed love stories." Blake said bluntly
"Hey those weren't very believable until we got here and some of them, I still have my doubts I mean really a merman." Anne said
"Anne if there are two things that are truth in every world it that love, and magic are weird." Blake said
Meanwhile with Marcy
After having breakfast Marcy returned to the fwagon to try to hype herself up again
"Ok Marcy your options are to wait for them to come back and tell them then or to go into town to find which you have no idea where they are and tell them now or keep your mouth shut and tell them never." Marcy said to herself
"Tell, them, what?" Sprig asked as he just brazenly walk in
"Sign well look option 3 just went out the window." Marcy said as she facepalm
Meanwhile with Blake and Anne in the woods
"If I remember correctly Ivy hangs out somewhere around here." Anne said as they walk through the woods when Blake's ears pick something up
"Move." Blake said stepping to side
"Huh?" Anne asked
"AMBUSH." Someone yelled as Anne was tackled to the ground by a yellow blur
"So, I take it your Ivy?" Blake asking the yellow frog wearing overall on top of Anne
"Yep, that me, and are you?" Ivy asked with a raised eyebrow
"The name Blake I'm a friend of Anne here." Blake said pointing to his still down friend
"Cool so how did you know I was coming?" Ivy asked
"Call it a family gift." Blake said
"Ok then." Ivy said confused
"Can you get off me now?" Anne asked
"Sorry Anne." Ivy said getting off her
Meanwhile with Marcy
"So, I've been keeping a secret from Blake and the girls for a while now and I want to tell them but I'm really nervous." Marcy said
"Marcy if I've learned anything it's better to be honest with the people you care about then keeping secrets from them because it'll just hurt them more in the end." Hop pop said
"Thank Hop pop." Marcy said honest feeling a bit better
"So, what is it?" Sprig asked
"Sprig this is between the humans not our business." Hop pop said in a scolding manner
Meanwhile with Blake and Anne
"So, this is that restaurant that you help bring back from being shut out I got to say it look great see I told you, you done great things for Wartwood." Blake said as he looked at Stumpy's which was looking great
"Thanks" Anne said
"But was the giant squid really necessary?" Blake asked
"Hey sea food taste better fresh." Anne said
"Yes, but serving it when it's still alive wasn't a good idea." Blake said
"Yeah, can't argue with that." Anne said
"So how about we grab some takeout and head back to the house for lunch." Blake said
"I would but don't have any copper on me." Anne said
"Then it's good thing that Andrias gave me and Marcy an allowance." Blake said pulling some coppers out his pocket
Later at the house
Blake and Anne soon returned to house with their takeout in toes when they saw Marcy standing outside the fwagon like she was waiting for them
"Hey guys can we talk alone?" Marcy asked nervously
"Yeah sure." They said at the same time
They went inside put the bag on the table before turning to Marcy
"So, what's up?" Blake asked sounding concern
"After what happened yesterday, I've been doing a lot of thinking and it's time I come clean about something." Marcy said her voice filled with guilt
"Of course, you can tell us anything." Anne said
"Well, you see before we ended up here my dad told me he got a new job out of state, and we would have to move after that we had a fight, and I ran off." Marcy said
"Is that all I'm sure we can fix things with your folks make the long distant relationship work." Blake said trying to reassure her
"That's not all before that I was at the library, and I found a book about the music box." Marcy said making Anne and Blake's eyes widen in horror
"Marcy, please tell me you didn't trap us here on purpose." Blake said his voice filled with dread
"I did after the fight I wasn't thinking straight and found the music box by chance I just didn't want to lose you guys." Marcy said hanging her head down in shame
"How could you do this what about our families and our lives back home did you think about that." Anne said obviously very upset
"I wasn't thinking at all I was being selfish and stupid I'm not trying to justify what I did I just can't live was the guilt anymore I'm so sorry." Marcy said as she broke out in tears
"I need some time to think this over." Blake said as he ran out the door
"Blake wait." Anne called out to him, but it was too late he was already out site
"Wow that must have been one bad secret." Polly said bluntly as they came out of the house
"Wait you know?" Anne asked angerly
"That there was a secret yes what it was no and only since this morning while the two of you were out." Hop pop said which thankfully calm her down a bit
"We caught Marcy talking to herself." Polly said
"Don't worry Anne I'm sure Blake will be fine." Sprig said trying to brush this aside
BOOM
"OH, MY FROG THAT GUY JUST PUNCH DOWN A TREE." A random frog yelled out
"Let just give him some time to cool off first." Hop pop said sounding scare
With Blake in woods
After about 10 minutes of screaming while smashing some rock and knocking a few more trees which he'll feel guilty about later Blake was finally able to calm down the aura around him faded and his eyes stop growing gold
"That girl has a lot of dumb stuff in the past, but this takes the cake." Blake said leaning against a tree breathing heavily
"Who has?" A female blue frog with pink hair wearing a black dress that came out of nowhere giving Blake a jump scare said
"What the how did you sneak up on me?" Blake asked
"It's a gift." She said which only confused the boy even more
"Ok then I take your Maddie?" Blake asked
"Yep, that's me and your one of Anne's friends, right?" Maddie asked
"Yep, the name Blake." Blake said
"So, what are you doing in the woods?" Maddie asked
"Rethinking my love life." Blake said as he sat down
"Bad break up?" Maddie asked
"No but I'll thinking about it." Blake said
"Oh, come on how bad could it be?" Maddie asked
"She's the reason we're trap in another world." Blake said
"Ok that's really bad." Maddie said
"She does feel bad about it but can't just forgive her after what she did." Blake said feel very conflicted
"Maybe a potion can help with this." Maddie said
"Magic is part of problem not the solution." Blake said
"Then I got nothing." Maddie said
"I didn't think you could really give me date advice kid." Blake said
"Hey for all you know I could be a dating expert." Maddie said indignantly
"Anne told me about your engagement to Sprig over doubt and how it only lasted a few weeks." Blake said bluntly
"Got me there." Maddie said shrugging her shoulders
"Sign I just don't know what to do." Blake said
"Do you still love her?" Maddie asked
"Yes, but I don't know if I can trust her after this mess." Blake said
"Then give her a chance to earn back your trust." Maddie said
"I guess I can do that, but this was a big secret that she was keeping from us." Blake said before blinking. "Wow is this me being a hypocrite or is this just ironic?" A/N I'm not sure on that myself
"Huh?" Maddie asked
"Oh, I'm magic user called a Wolfwalker, and I've been keeping that secret for them for years." Blake said while lighting up his hand with a golden grow
"And you're ok with telling me is because?" Maddie asked
"One I'm already a freak in this world and two you're a magic user yourself so why would you care." Blake said
"Fair enough wait a minute are you the one who knot down all those trees earlier?" Maddie asked accusingly
"Um nope SMOKE BOMB." Blake yelled before throwing down a smoke bomb to make a quick escape
"Amateur." Maddie said before shaking her head
Back at the house
After his talk with Maddie Blake decide to return to the house where he saw Anne sitting on pouch but when she saw him, she got and walk to him
"Hey Blake, how are you feeling?" Anne asked
"Honest I don't know but I've at least calm down how about you?" Blake asked
"I guess the same as you." Anne said
"Sign so where is she?" Blake asked
"Still in the fwagon I had Sprig check up on her every now and again." Anne said
"And how is she?" Blake asked
"He said she been bawling her eyes out, but I can't bring myself to see her." Anne said
"Sign then I guess I'll have to." Blake said
"You sure?" Anne asked
"Anne, we need to face this head on or we're never going able to move forward." Blake said
"I guess you're right but I'm not sure I'm ready." Anne said
"You don't have you to be I plan to see her alone." Blake said
"You sure?" Anne asked
"Yes, I did a lot of thinking while I was in the forest and figure somethings out." Blake said
"Ok good luck." Anne said before walking to the house
As Blake made his way to the fwagon he took a deep breathe to readying himself
Knock Knock
"Who is it?" Marcy asked weakly
"Marcy it's me and I'm coming in." Blake telling her as he opens the door and walked in and found her sitting on the bed her eyes were red and buffy from the all the crying she did
"So, this is the part where you dump me right?" Marcy asked sadly
"Sign no I'm not dumping you made a big mistake, but you did own up to it that said it don't mean I forgive or trust you right now." Blake said making her eyes widen
"So, what now?" Marcy asked
"Now begins the long road to recovery where you earn our trust and forgiveness do you think you're up for it?" Blake asked
"I don't know but I'll try my best." Marcy said trying to sound determined

Author note, well that was intense also keep is in mind while Wolfwalkers are mostly peaceful people they can be put into a fit of rage if anger enough and anyone in Blake position would have every right to angerly with her. Also sorry but only one omake this time didn't think I had the time for more than one with the holidays coming up.
Omake 5 the winter ball part 2 idea by me
We open in Blake's room him getting ready for dance with Alex helping
"Ok Blake let's go over the check list one more time." Alex said holding up peace of paper
"You been hanging out with Mason too much." Blake said
"Always suit." Alex said while rolling her eyes
"Look sharp." Blake said trying do a cool pose
"Deodorant." Alex said
"Check." Blake said
"Teeth and breath." Alex said
"Minty fresh." Blake said
"Corsage." Alex said
"Freshly pick." Blake said holding the flower up
"Hair." Alex said
"Comb and gel." Blake said
"Tie." Alex said
"Check." Blake said while straightening it
"Condoms." Alex said with a playful smile
"ALEX." Blake yelled his face beet red
"Relax I'm just messing with you." Alex said while ruffling her brother's hair
"Well, it wasn't funny." Blake said pouting while fixing his hair
"For you maybe but that doesn't matter you're ready so let's go mom want to take a lot of pictures before I take you and the girls the dance." Alex said with her keys in hand
"Thanks for that last think I need tonight is mom and dad embarrassing me all the way there." Blake said as they left the room and headed downstairs
"That what I'm here for little bro." Alex said as they left out the front door and made their way to Alex's car

Author's note I did come up with two questions thanks to death battle season finale one for you guys and the other kind of for me but guy help out if you want. If you could pick one character to get a death battle in 2023, who would it be? What if I gave Blake a death battle but who would I make him fight I want it to be a fair regardless of if he wins or loses I don't want to give him a easy win or him to get one-shot by someone way above him I want someone who he's roughly even with so if he win it's because he earned it
And on to the review sign you know I put a lot of work into this story is it too much to ask for more than one review per chapter

Nice Chapter! Sorry, I haven't reviewed the previous one, I was waiting for part 2, and honestly, I think both parts are great! I liked the way Blake handled things at the first temple with Marcy, Anne and the plantars. Since they manage to obtain one gem, there are three more to go. Also, enjoyed the Omakes in both chapters. Especially the one with the wolf farmhouse with a bit of gravity falls reference, which makes me wonder if Dipper and Mabel are somewhat related to Blake's family members. Either way, I really enjoyed it.
Also, I really like the switched-gender AU, kinda explains a lot when the roles are reversed. And I kinda find it cute with the winter ball Omake, I can only imagine how adorable it would be to see the two of them have their next move, plus I find Anne and Sasha's bet extremely funny.
However, I'm kind of worried about what's about to come next once the group maintains all of the calamity stones. But whatever happens between Marcy and Blake, I just hope that Blake is strong enough physically and emotionally to prepare for what comes next as the truth comes out. Otherwise, this would be the ultimate test for him both as a Wolfwalker and as a friend.

Thanks, and don't worry I wanted to release the temple of wit as one chapter, but it was taking too long. I try to make it, so Blake was playing his part without overshadowing Marcy like Anne did. Oh, it was more than just a reference I'm sewing the seeds for a possible gravity fall prequal after I'm done with this story. Dipper and Mabel are Blake's older sister's Alex's friends Blake and the girls know them by association and see them as a cool older sister figure and her weird but fun friends (who are all 19) also fun fact Mabel actually told the trio about some of their adventures in gravity fall but because of the way she acts they thought she was just making stuff up. The gender swap AU was just for fun, and I may do more in the future.
The winter ball is supposed to be cute, and I plan on making it four maybe five parts. Trust me buddy you and me both Blake has a rough road ahead of him.
