Chapter 94 Nakia's Nightmare Part 2

In the shadowy night within a dream world, Nakia is running away from what she fears mostly now, the return of her evil pursuer.. She's sleeping again and has tried to subdue her mind but no.. It doesn't work..

Running further and further away, she makes it to the entrance gates of a grave yard.. She stops and catches her breath.. She looks behind her and sees nothing coming at her.. But suddenly many deadly creatures arise from the ground and surround her.. They look mean and hungry, their sharp teeth extend out from their mouths and their evil eyes glow a bright sun burning yellow.. Nakia looks at them and says nothing.. Her face loses its fear grip and takes on a more serious expression..

The creatures growl as they move around her a motion wheel but she isn't intimidated. Immediately she begins her transformation process.. Her right hand glows yellow as she pushes high above and shouts out.

Nakia in her nightmare-YELLOW STARLIGHT POWER!

With those words spoken, a star appears on their open hands and starts to shine very brightly. A beautiful essence of the Universe appears and surrounds Nakia, and soon her Yellow Star appears and starts swirling all around her body therefore leaving its yellow power residue on her body, it then attaches itself to the center of Nakia's chest and this causes an explosion to arise from under Nakia's body. As the explosion covers her body completely a transparent image of a Yellow Wild Cat appears. The explosion disappears as the yellow wild cat image forms onto Nakia's body. Her body starts glowing brightly yellow, and as it dies down Nakia is completely transformed into the Yellow Star Force Power Ranger.

The beings continue to move around the Yellow Ranger.. She doesn't say a word.. She just. Attacks! Lifting up her right leg and making it arch up perfectly, she waits for the right moment.. And it comes.. She then moves around the moving circle kicking each creature in their faces and knocking them down.. She puts down her leg and watches as the hideous beings rise back up on their feet.. They all start letting out gross sounding laughs as they surround her once again..

Yellow Ranger in her nightmare-What am I going to do.. I need help..

She hears a familiar voice coming from an unknown direction.. And I say this because the voice surrounds the entire essence of her nightmare..

Vampire-I'll help you.. Just promise me you'll be mine.. Forever..

The Yellow Ranger gets worried.. Very worried.. But she responds.

Yellow Ranger-Leave me alone! I don't want anything to do with you! Please just go away!

Vampire-But I can't leave you.. You're mine.. And I shall have you.. You belong to me..

Yellow Ranger-NO!

The creatures move closer to her, she tries to fight them off but they prove to be stronger, she yells out for help but no one can hear her screams, no one at all, except for the one being she wants nothing to do with.. He laughs and continues to say to her..

Vampire-You're mine Yellow Ranger.. And forever happy we'll be.. Together..

She lets out a shrieking scream that would wake an entire neighborhood, but luckily for her, it only wakes her up out of her nightmare.. She props up from under her covers.. Her head is sweating again, she sighs and gets upset..

Nakia-Oh I don't believe this! I can't even sleep!

She sighs again and looks at her clock, after she turns on her light that is. The time now is 12:30 a.m.

Nakia-I can't believe how late it is.. And I've already had two nightmares!

Instead of going back to sleep immediately, she tries to call Ryan but his answering machine picks up so she assumes.

Nakia-I guess he's knocked out..

She leaves a message on his answering machine then comes up with another idea.. She tries Zelda, and she answers sleepily, but she answers..

Zelda-Hello..

Nakia-Hey Zelda its me..

Zelda yawns..

Zelda-Nakia.. Its late…

Nakia-I know and I'm sorry for waking you up but I need to talk to someone..

Zelda's voice comes into a more clearer tone as she starts to be concerned for her friend.

Zelda-What's wrong?

Nakia-I had two different nightmares, based on the same thing.

Zelda-Oh no.. Are you talking about that Vampire book?

Nakia-Yeah I am..

Zelda-Are you okay? Was it intense?

Nakia-I'm all right but it spooked me pretty good..

Zelda-This is getting way too serious Nakia.. I think you need to talk to Amy again.

Nakia-It won't do any good.. She'll keep the book..

Zelda-And you'll keep having nightmares because subconsciously you think Sinistar is going to use it again.

Nakia-I know.. But I'm getting a bit annoyed tonight..

Zelda-You need to sleep, there's no doubt about that.. So is there anything pleasant you can think about that might help?

Nakia sighs again..

Nakia-I don't know.. This is all so sudden.. And the fact is I'm doing it to myself!

Zelda-You're strong Nakia.. And you know it.. You can beat this..

Nakia-It just scares me Zelda.. It really does.

Zelda-I understand..

Nakia-Thanks.

Zelda-And tomorrow you have to go and talk to Amy.. Otherwise your mind won't be at ease.. I'll go with you..

Nakia-Zelda It won't do any good.. I just said that..

Zelda-It won't hurt to try. Especially if it means getting a good night's sleep.

Nakia thinks.. And finally says after a few seconds..

Nakia-I guess so..

Zelda-You know I'm right.

Nakia-Yeah.. So I'll try to talk to her again..

Zelda-Good.

Nakia-And if she doesn't give me the correct answer I'll take the book and rip it up in her face!

They both start laughing at that.. When they stop Nakia adds.

Nakia-She's nice and all but she's really starting to get on my nerves.

Zelda-Its understandable.. Really is..

Zelda comes up with an idea.. She then tells it to Nakia.

Zelda-Hey what about asking Lightwing to help you?

Nakia-How exactly? His magic can only do so much.

Zelda-But he can do anything.. Maybe he can get rid of your nightmares so we both can get some sleep.

Nakia-I know what you're saying Zelda.. And if you think about it clearly, its just a quick fix, that will probably wear off unless I feel better about it.. And the only way to feel better is if Amy gets rid of the book before its too late.

Zelda-Hmm.. Yeah.. But I'm tired now!

They laugh..

Zelda-I'm sorry.. I know you need to get through this thoroughly instead of dealing with a quick fix..

Nakia-I suppose I shouldn't come off so mean to her.. I'll invite her to lunch tomorrow.

Zelda-Good idea.

Nakia-And I'll explain the entire situation again.. And if she doesn't..

Zelda interrupts her.

Zelda-Nakia. Calm down.. It'll be all right.. You just have to think positively.

Nakia-I'll try.. I promise I will really try..

Zelda-Are you going to go back to sleep now?

Nakia-I don't know.. I'm sleepy but if I do go back I'm sure I'll have another nightmare.

Zelda-Hmm.. Well I can help you if you want.

Nakia-How?

Zelda-I can go over to your place and we can play a few games, to take your mind off of this for a while.. And maybe it'll help you sleep better at least for tonight..

Nakia-Sounds good to me.

Zelda-Okay.. And I'll call Kimberly, explain everything and maybe she'll come too..

Nakia-Thanks Zelda.. We can make it a girls night in or something like that.

Zelda-Yeah.

Zelda giggles.

Zelda-Be over in a few minutes.

Nakia-All right.. Thanks again..

They both hang up.. Nakia lays back on her pillow and smiles..

Nakia-I have some really good friends..

Ten minutes pass and Nakia looks up, she sees two glittering stars on her ceiling, one pink and the other one white.. Those same stars release beams of streaked light that land right on Nakia's floor, and very quickly those beams form into Zelda and Kimberly..

Both of them are wearing night gowns, and you can guess the colors.. Anyway Zelda has a couple of videos and Kim brings along a few board games.. They put them aside and Nakia gets up, she hugs them both and says.

Nakia-Thanks for coming..

Zelda-You know we wouldn't let you down.

Kimberly-Yeah.

Knightmara has reported to Grand Master Sinistar on a powerful energy finding.. She bows before the Grand Master who sits comfortably on her glorious throne.

Knightmara-After scanning I have found many nightmarish energy spheres..

Grand Master Sinistar-Which means what?

Knightmara-When a human dreams, or have a powerful nightmare, they set off energy which can be tracked.. The more intense a dream is, the more energy they set off.

Grand Master Sinistar-You seem to be getting way off course Knightmara!

Grand Master Sinistar raises her right arm, her hand begins to glow as if she's signaling a destruction blast to emerge from her hand and strike Knightmara to death.. This gesture surely frightens Knightmara so she gets right to the point..

Knightmara-I mean I found a very powerful energy set off so it could be a Power Ranger..

Grand Master Sinistar's points her glowing hand at Knightmara and sends out a small blast that only stings her a bit..

Knightmara-UHH!

She then says in harsh tone.

Grand Master Sinistar-WHY DIDN'T YOU INVESTIGATE?!

Knightmara-I wanted to report back to you.. So you wouldn't be left in the dark about any information master..

Grand Master Sinistar's hand stops glowing, and she puts it back down..

Grand Master Sinistar-You had better get to Terra Falls and track that energy before every one of those worthless humans wake up!

Knightmara-Master.. The powerful energy set off disappeared just a few minutes ago..

Grand Master Sinistar gets really angry.. Her red glowing beamy eyes start to glow as her voice increases in tone.

Grand Master Sinistar-THEN YOU HAD BETTER HOPE IT RETURNS! I AM MOST CERTAIN THAT ENERGY BELONGS TO A RANGER! SO FOR YOUR SAKE I SUGGEST YOU GET TO TERRA FALLS AND WAIT!

Knightmara responds in a very frightened way..

Knightmara-Yes master.. At once..

She disappears quickly..

Back at Nakia's house and up in her bedroom.. The time now is 1:05 a.m and the three girls are having a nice time talking about certain things and playing monopoly.. They are all sitting in the middle of Nakia's bedroom floor.. When they take a break from the game Nakia asks.

Nakia-Anybody want a late snack?

Zelda says.

Zelda-I do.. I am hungry.

Kimberly-I'll second that..

Nakia-All right.. I'll be back with some sandwiches.. Etc..

Kimberly-Okay. Do you need any help?

Nakia-Nah.. I've got it.

They smile.. Nakia gets up and leaves her room.. While she's gone Kimberly finally asks Zelda..

Kimberly-Hey what movies did you bring?

She answers as if she's startled by the question.

Zelda-Oh! I brought The Nutty Professor, National Lampoon's European Vacation and The Tangerine Bear..

Kimberly-Those movies are good.

Zelda-Yeah I brought them because I thought it might help Nakia think of good and funny things.. You know to keep her mind off of that Vampire book.

Kimberly-Good idea..

Zelda-I want to say that I think Amy is totally being selfish..

Kimberly-I have to agree with that.. If she was any kind of friend she would at least consider what you and Nakia told her.

Zelda-Exactly..

Kimberly-Is she going to talk to her about it again?

Zelda-Yeah tomorrow sometime.. She's going to invite her to lunch and discuss the situation. I'm going with her..

Kimberly-I'll go too.. She'll need all the support she can get.

Zelda-Thanks Kim..

Kimberly-Its no problem.. Not at all.

Downstairs and in the kitchen, Nakia is fixing a couple of turkey sandwiches with cheese and one ham and cheese sandwich, she looks up in a cupboard to grab three small bowls. She then looks in another and grabs a bag of chips. After empting the bag into the three bowls, she places the three sandwiches on a plate onto a tray, the bowls of chips follow.. She then looks into the refrigerator and grabs a 2 liter bottle of diet orange soda and places it on the tray as well.. She throws away the empty chip bag and moves over to the sink to wash her hands a bit, when done.. She takes the tray and turns off the kitchen light with her shoulder and walks back upstairs to her room..

Zelda-Mm it looks good.

Nakia-I've got two turkey and cheese sandwiches, one ham and cheese sandwich, some chips and pop..

She puts the stuff down and sits down with her friends.. They each grab a sandwich and a bowl of chips.. Nakia slaps her head and says.

Nakia-Oh I forgot cups!

They giggle and so she rushes downstairs again.. The visit from her friends seems to have everything under control in her mind, it is at ease.. She quickly gets the cups then runs back upstairs, but not before turning off the kitchen light again..

Meanwhile, Knightmara travels through various neighborhoods, she senses lots of dreaming energy but none that fit the enormous amounts she felt earlier.. She goes throughout many more neighbor hoods and decides to take a break.. She doesn't make it to Nakia's neighborhood yet, but soon she will, or will she? Things will get a lot worse before they get better. That's a guarantee. And so this story shall be..
