So sorry for the long gaps in updates! Life kinda sucks at random points especially when writing actually takes quite a bit of commitment.
I know it is OVER 3 weeks (it was the Friday when I updated Naruto Nakiri) but my labtop broke for most a week, I was bored second week and now I really had to stress myself to start and finish this one chapter…
Yes, this will be greatly condensed arc but Naruto at this point is not interested in 'stepping aside' for his teammates to gain experience. Let's be real. If the Oración Seis WANTED to kill the alliance they could have. They were honestly just kidding around for most of the arc and only lost because their own petty grudges and pride didn't allow them to work together to fight their common enemy the Light guild alliance. This allowed the alliance to pick them off one by one.
I plan to do maybe 1-2 more chapters for the entire arc as Naruto will be going to town essentially (unlike the canon members he can actually defeat S-class wizards by himself without teamwork or sheer luck)
Naruto knows that the alliance will be slaughtered if they fight seriously so he is going at this to incapacitate them all right now regardless of his own team petty 'I can do better' mentality (which is prevalent in Natsu and to lesser degrees Gray and Erza).
Chapter 41 Naruto is not quite a healer right now
As Naruto was rushing towards the location of the meeting hall the Tailed Beasts decided to ask something, they were all wondering.
"Naruto-kun. Why didn't you put a Flying Rajin marker on at least one of your teammates?" Matatabi asked from inside Naruto head.
"Yeah if you did that we would already be at their location no matter where they are." Gyuki added remembering how the 4th Hokage easily over powered a tag team of A and B despite their own considerable prowess. Gyuki would have been the first to admit Kumo was lucky Kohona decided to leave that battlefield or Kumo would have lost their A/B combo that day. AN2:
"Are we seriously going to have this conversation again?" Naruto asked with notable annoyance as he kepot running while he focused on both the road and the tailed beasts inside his head.
"….. No trust can be formed if I have a jutsu that can teleport me to them at any time. They would think I think they are incapable of living their own lives without me to bail them out at any sign of danger." Naruto admitted sadly knowing having a tag like that essentially was both a life vest and collar in sense.
"Naruto…. Kushina had the marking inside her seal along side me." Kurama pointed out with notable gentle voice.
"Yeah mom did but they were in love and mom knew he would never abuse the ability to teleport to her at any time." Naruto retorted as Kurama sighed.
"I don't have that kind of relationship with anyone and I don't want to break the small connections we do have now by the mentality 'its better to beg for forgiveness then ask for permission' that people use to justify 'the ends justify the means'." Naruto declared as the tailed beasts nodded at Naruto resolution. AN3:
Naruto eyes grew sad as he kept running.
"Besides even with the marking there is still no promise everything will be all right. Kakashi-sensei had a marked kunai and yet dad still only arrived after Obito was left for dead. Dad still could not arrive to save mom from having Kurama ripped out from her even with the tag inside her seal." Naruto commented sombrely as he knew not everything went smoothly despite the best of intentions.
Naruto kept running appearing little more then a blur to people he passed as he hoped to save both his friends and whoever was in the Light Guild Alliance from being captured or worst killed.
Meanwhile with Lucy, Natsu, Erza, Gray, Happy and the rest of the Alliance
'Today is officially the worst day ever!' Lucy screamed mentally as she was trapped in some sort of fluid looking 'earth' created by Oración Seis 'Hoteye' along with both Sherry and Lyon. It was essentially like fluid and movable quick sand that dragged people in to immobilize them
Flashback to them inside the carriage slowly moving to the meeting hall
"Hmm…." Lucy thought out loud as she sat next to Erza on one side while Gray and Happy sat on the other side. Natsu was at the back with his head out the flap as he continued to drop massive amount of vomits much to the overall annoyance and disgust of the rest of the team.
"What's wrong Lucy?" Erza asked her blonde teammate with concern in her eyes. Gray also inched over to their busty blonde teammate.
"Oh! It's nothing!" Lucy claimed with a nervous chuckle until she saw Erza frown slightly.
"Ok… It's just kinda weird Naruto isn't with us for such an important job." Lucy admitted as everyone looked down.
"Hey Master told us we couldn't wait for him. Its not like we just left him behind all willy nilly." Gray commented with a sigh.
"I know but I would feel safer if we had him around." Lucy admitted as she looked out at the distance.
"I mean we are fighting Six S-class criminals, right? So that means they are on the same level as Erza-san and Naruto, right?" Lucy asked with a shudder as Erza bit her lip nervously.
"Hey! We don't need Naruto for this! He has done enough all the time." Natsu declared somehow with his face back to normal crossing his arms.
"I mean I could probably take on two of those S-class creeps by myself. Erza can take on one of them and everyone else can take on the last three." Natsu bragged puffing out his chest proudly.
"That's the spirit Natsu. We don't know the exact strength of the enemy or our allies so we should not underestimate our strength just yet." Erza said calmly as Gray nodded.
'Wait did she not get Natsu implied he is stronger than her right now?' Lucy thought with a sweat drop.
'Man, I wished Naruto was here!' Lucy whined as they soon drew to mansion where the meeting was going to be.
During the meeting with the new formed Alliance
Lucy was quite frankly not pleased with their new allies. She knew her own guild was fairly eccentric besides relatively normal people like Lissanna and Levy in her opinion but she was not overly pleased working with other guilds.
Blue Pegasus appeared to be filled with 'playboys' who did not seem very strong in her opinion and more interested on hitting on her and Erza. She still didn't get how Erza was so polite to the 3 men from Blue Pegasus even when one of them grabbed her armoured hand. She also noted that the three men. Hibiki, Ren, and Eve appeared to be charming to Lucy and Erza but utterly dismissive to men like Natsu and Gray. She gave them harsher scores mentally when they even outright told her male teammates to head home implying as men they were in the way.AN4:
'Erza is pissed!' Lucy thought in terror as she watched Erza slam her armoured fist into a small middle-aged man Ichiya who appeared to be leader of Ren, Eve and Hibiki across the room with one blow.
'I really doubt that they had any kind of actual relationship despite what he implied if anything he appears to be a stalker obsessed with his 'honey' Erza-san.' Lucy thought drily.
Next the Lamia Scale members scrolled in much to Lucy's and Grays annoyance as two of the members they personally had issues with. Lucy despised how condescending Sherry was to her to the point where Sherry called her 'little girl' (despite Lucy thinking herself to be more mature and bustier) AN5:
While Lyon still seemed rather cool to Gray implying their magic were on different levels despite them seemingly gotten past their past issues after Galuna Island.
However, one person both amazed but freaked Lucy out was Jura who was the current number 10 spot of the Wizard Saint. She could tell he earned his spot even without sensing his magic level as he instantly took control of the squabbling wizards simply by tapping his staff on the ground.
The last person (and her cat?) was someone Lucy almost squealed in delight at the girls cuteness and politeness.
"Hello. My name is Wendy Marvel and I am the representative of Cait Shelter. Along with Carla." Wendy said politely with a slight blush as she bowed before tripping on her own feet. She pouted before getting up dusting her knees off much to Carla chagrin at her nervousness.
The young girl was wearing a flowing green dress that was armless and shoulder less along with a yellow arm band near her right shoulder. The dress reached halfway down her knees that was teied to her neck by a small golden ring. It was mostly backless leaving her upper back exposed. The dress had a simple design with multiple lines going across multiple times causing a zig zag design all across it. Near the top the dress had upward arrows with the yellow, same green and light indigo for each arrow. She also wore simple brown sandals with no socks. AN6:
'She is so cute!' Lucy thought looking at the younger girl long dark blue hair flowing to her lower back and bright brown eyes that just shone with innocence despite showing nervousness.
"This girl…" Erza mumbled as she looked inquisitively at the younger girl.
"Yes. Her magic power is rather unique. Its parfum is not like the others here." Ichiya noted with a rare serious expression.
Natsu was rather dumbfounded looking at Wendy as if she was part of some hidden memories, he could not remember much to Gray amusement.
Nobody saw Wendy sniffing around especially at the members of Fairy Tail.
'Here's not here.' Wendy thought glumly. 'Those guys were definitely around him since his scent lingers but he is not with them.' Wendy thought with a pout. She was sure her sensei would be one of Fairy Tail representative for this alliance!
Then Lucy zoomed in and out as the plan to use Blue Pegasus Christina a magic bomber ship to attack the Oración Seis at once was discussed. She also learned the Oración Seis was after some sort of magic called Nirvana but nobody knew exactly what the magic did.
However afterwards everything soon turned terrible as the Christana was shot down or exploded in mid air and Natsu had the brilliant idea to charge in recklessness forcing the rest of alliance to charge in without any sort of real plan or formation.
Despite it being 10 vs 5 for the Alliance they soon learned quality far outweighed quantity as although the Oración Seis not working together per se their magic quickly separated the Allaince into separate groups fprcing them to fend off the S-class criminals far superior magic.
As Lucy was trying to avoid sinking she glanced and saw Natsu and Gray being pummelled by Racer who like his name appeared to be little more then a blur as he avoided the two wizards attacks with ease and counterattacked with such speed.
There was one wizard who appeared to be asleep but even stray attacks for some reason never hit him despite him not actually appearing to do anything.
As Lucy struggled she swore she saw double as someone who looked exactly like her including her clothes kicked her in the face making her groan as the blonde was immobilized completely.
The only person who was left standing was Erza in her flight armour as she was forced to fight off a triple threat from Hoteye, Cobra and Racer. She managed to jump multiple times to avoid Hoteye soft earth magic and her enhanced speed allowed her to hold her own against Racer own speed as she swung her swords making the wizard back off.
She tried her best when she was matched against Cobra but some reason no matter how complex her swings or her including kicks to the mix Cobra seemed capable of blocking all her movements instantly.
"Frustrated Erza Scarlet?" Cobra mocked as her avoided a swipe to his head by tilting his head slightly.
"Shows what you know!" Erza retorted as she attempted to swipe continuously at the smirking wizard who kept one step ahead of her.
'How is he doing that?! Its not he is that much faster than me! Its almost like~~" Erza thought with wide eyes.
"'He can read my mind' right?" Cobra finished his smrik growing bigger when Erza eyes widened in shock.
"Yeah you see I have a special kind of magic. I can hear into a person's very soul so I can hear their little secrets before they even say them out loud!" Cobra crackled as Erza's eyes narrowed.
"So you can hear my movements before I make them right?" Erza asked coolly.
Erza then tossed one of her swords at Cobra head as he titled his head mockingly. In that moment Erza dashed forward with a new sword already Requipped as she swung both swords at Cobra chest onloy for Cobra to smirk as he grabbed both of Erza's wrists with his hands stopping her completely as she grunted trying to overpower him.
"Nice try. It might have worked if you weren't thinking about it with your mind." Cobra admitted before he whistled.
To Erza shock a purple snake appeared out of Cobra's coat and wrapped around her left arm squeezing tightly to the point where Erza shouted releasing her sword in pain. Cobra took this opportunity to grab her shoulder as his hand turned putple. AN7:
Erza screamed as the shoulder turned the same purple as Cobra released her shoulder but the purple area started to glow and hiss as Erza slumped onto the floor in pain.
"Hope you enjoy my special poison. The pain will grow stronger and stronger till you will beg for death to come." Cobra informed her smugly as he, Hoteye and Racer walked away from the defeated alliance with evil smirks.
Meanwhile the leader of the Oración Seis looked bored as the battle soon turned to defeat for the light wizards.
"So weak. Is this all they can do?" Brain said with a sigh before he happened to glance at Wendy who was hiding behind a rock in fear.
"Can it be? The Sky Maiden?" Brain mumbled before a relieved smile appeared on his face.
"To think the exact person I need is delivered to me on this glorious day!" Brain shouted as a green arm appeared from his staff and quickly grabbed the young Sky Dragon Slayer much to her fear.
As the arm dragged Wendy to the deranged S-class wizard Wendy eyes grew with determination.
'I won't let Naruto-sensei teachings be in vain!' Wendy thought as she gathered Sky Dragon Slayer magic into her arm.
"Sky Dragon~" Wendy declared preparing to punch Brain in the face as she drew near.
"Quiet girl." Brain hissed as he raised his other hand in front of Wendy's face.
Instantly Wendy was knocked out as Brain picked up the young girl on his shoulder.
"I don't need the rest of you. Be gone!" Brain declared as a massive ball of green and black magic appeared in his hand. He tossed it at the defeated Alliance as him and the rest of the Oración Seis ran away before the explosion.
"Dammit! I can't move!" Natsu said in pain while he laid on his knees.
"Its too powerful!" Gray said as his Ice-Make Shield paled in comparison to the ball of doom.
Suddenly a massive beam of blue Electricity intercepted the Green ball and destroyed the ball as the explosion appeared to rock the entire forest.
"What was that?!" Lyon shouted as everyone looked around.
"Wait! This magic!" Gray and Lucy said in recognition.
"This smell!" Natsu said with wide eyes.
"Up there!" Sherry shouted as everyone looked up to see Naruto stand on top of one of the tallest trees with his hand raised.
"Sorry I am late." Naruto said calmly as he leapt off the tress and landed with just a slight puff of dust upon impact.
"Its you!" Lyon said with eyes eyes as he weakly got into a sitting position.
Naruto briefly glanced over at Lyon and Sherry noting their injuries while major was not life threatening. While the boys from Blue Pegasus seemed more exhausted than anything.
"Naruto…. What are you doing here?" Lucy asked in surprise as Naruto gave her a warm smile before looking away in guilt.
"Yeah! The Old man told us you were on another job!" Natsu shouted as Naruto sighed.
"Let's just say I had some choice words with Master so he let me come." Naruto said with annoyance.
"Sorry I wasn't with you guys in the beginning but now everything is going to be alright." Naruto promised Lucy with a nod.
"Naruto-Dono!" Jura yelled in surprise as him and Ichiya walked in with bandages.
"Oh Jura! Been awhile! How's it been going?" Naruto asked cheerfully.
Jura was about to answer but Sherry and Lyon decided to answer first.
"hey listen here! Show some respect to Jura!" Lyon snapped as Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah! You might be S-class if the rumours about you are right but Jura is a Wizard Saint and completely different level then you!" Sherry added crossing her arms beneath her chest.
"Actually Naruto-Dono defeated me in combat once before." Jura admitted as everyone started to shout in surprise as Naruto just shrugged.
After a minute of the group arguing about Naruto's achievement Carla decided to put her two cents in.
"Hey! We are in a middle of something right now! We do not need you to be goofing off!" Carla snapped as everyone looked away sheepishly.
'This must be the infamous Carla. I could see why Wendy came alone to classes.' Naruto thought drily resisting snapping at the talking cat.
"Erza-san!" Lucy shouted as Naruto and everyone gathered around Erza who was holding her left arm in pain slumped onto a tree.
"Naruto… You came…" Erza mumbled with a weak smile as Naruto shook his head.
"Don't waste your breath. What happened?" Naruto asked sharply as Erza grimaced.
"I got hit with some… sort of poison." Erza admitted as Naruto discreetly took a sniff.
'Hmm.. Dragon Slayer and poison…' Naruto thought after a moment.
Ichiya tried to sprinkle the group with his Perfume magic which made everyone sigh in relief but Erza continued to groan as the purple poison continued to glow and slowly spread.
"Is there anything we can do about the poison in Erza's arm?" Gray asked as he looked around.
"Yes, there is." Lyon declared as he formed a blade of Ice and walked towards Erza.
"Lyon what the hell are you doing?!" Gray asked with a glare.
"Cutting her arm off to stop the poison from spreading." Lyon said coldly as he took another step.
All the sudden everyone flinched and took a step back when they felt killer pressure from Naruto.
"Touch Erza and I will cut your arm off as well." Naruto threatened coldly as he stood over Erza protectively.
"Fool! Would you rather her live with one arm or die?" Lyon retorted as Naruto flare intensified.
Naruto drew his killer intent when he heard Erza cry out.
"Wait. He's right. Cut my arm off!" Erza declared as Naruto shook his head.
"I have a better solution." Naruto said warmly as he grabbed her hand with his own and closed his eyes.
"What are you…." Lucy asked before she gasped.
Naruto hand glowed blue as then the poison in Erza's arm stopped sreaping. After a few moments it actually started to recede from Erza's arm. It soon disappeared and Naruto let go of Erza who gasped in shock.
"Its gone!" Erza shpouted in joy as she clenched her arm several times and felt no pain.
"How did?" Eve asked as everyone turned to Naruto who had his back to the group.
"You healed Erza? I never knew you could do healing magic!" Natsu said with a wide grin.
"Actually… Its not really healing…" Naruto said as he turned around and then everyone gasped. Naruto left arm which touched Erza's arm was now pulsing with the same purple glow and poison that had infected Erza previously.
"Naruto! Your arm!" Lucy shouted desperately as Naruto sent her a smile.
"Yeah. I merely transferred the poison to my own body instead of Erza's." Naruto admitted with a chuckle.
'A fair cry from real Sky Dragon Slayer magic.' Naruto thought with a sigh.
"Wait a sec." Naruto raised his right hand to make everyone from approaching him.
"Isobu can you make some corral for me?' Naruto thought.
"How creative!" Isobu replied as Naruto closed his eyes.
To everyone surprise Naruto left arm started to mutate as blue corral sprouted out of his arm. But it soon turned purple as everyone watched as the corral 'absorb' the poison into itself. Then after a few moments it fell off of Naruto skin and clumped into hissing purple corral clumps.
Naruto snapped his finger as tiny bursts of electricity soon torched the clumps destroying both the corral and poison into dust.
"A neat trick I used to get the poison out and destroy it." Naruto said with a wink as his guildmates chuckled while the rest of the alliance was befuddled at his personality.
'Easier then waiting for you guys to purge it out slowly or sending a signal out by using your chakra.' Naruto thought.
"Don't worry about it Naruto. Now we have learned what it is next time it won't even get past your skin." Kurama assured him as Naruto sent a quick thanks.
Naruto raised a hand and clapped getting everyone attention.
"Look I will be frank. I may have taken care of the poison but I didn't heal Erza. The damage she took is still there she just no longer in critical condition or any worst. That goes for the rest of you. You guys are all exhausted and weak right now." Naruto told them honestly as several people glared at him.
"Who are you to talk arriving after the fight was over?" Ren asked coldly as Naruto sighed.
"You're right. I did come afterwards but you guys got your asses kicked when you were at full strength and now all of you are barely limping now." Naruto pointed out as the group looked down in annoyance.
"But leave it me. I will finish this once and for all." Naruto said with determination.
"Wait! We need to find Wendy! She was captured by the Oración Seis!" Carla pointed out as Naruto eyes widened.
'That was Wendy-chan scent! I swear if they do anything to her I will beat them so hard they wish I could kill them!' Naruto thought darkly.
AN2: For people going troll me claiming it was a 'draw' in Naruto chapter 543 in my opinion Minato could have slit both B and A throats if that retreat was not issued. He notable escaped without any damage while B nearly lost a tentacle and A almost had a kunai to his neck during the exchange.
AN3: THERE okay?! I gave a reason why he doesn't just Flying Rajin to everyone for everyone problems! I mean would you feel safe if you had a marking that essentially allowed someone you trusted to 'track' you wherever you went? Naruto does not have the mentality that 'saving someone' is always the same as 'help someone'.
AN4: I am well aware in canon Lucy was flattered if not a bit creeped out being pampered by the Blue Pegasus boys BUT in my story she already more or less has a huge crush on Naruto. Hence, she is not particularly interested in any other guy in general.
AN5: Personal opinion but at least the way they are drawn I think Lucy was wider hips and bigger breasts then Sherry.
AN6: I know its not her original canon outfit but honestly, I like this one better so Wendy starts out with this one instead.
AN7: I know in canon it was Cubellios poison that infected Erza's arm but in this one it was Cobra using Poison Dragon Slayer magic. I wanted to change it up abit.
