Sorry for the delays! It is getting tougher to find time to actually write (especially for stories with a TON of plot and actual story. Not one of my less serious stories). BUT I want to say NOTHING is abandoned, okay?

Sorry for the month long delay for this story… I am TRYING to update my other stories too but writing is hard!

AN1: Okay I usually cool enough to not let reviews bother me (besides the one for chapter 17 where my so called 'reviewers' spammed me about Naruto being the Jupiter Dragon Slayer for a chapter. BUT for some reason people (you know who you are since you put it in my reviews) HATED that Naruto did not passively let Lyon cut Erza arm off claiming 'it was a legitimate tactic'.

I don't care if you thought Naruto was aggressive or emotional or not thinking about the big picture. Lyon tactic might not even work by the way. Poison is not necessarily restricted to a single limb. You have to drain it out or cure it. So, cutting Erza arm off might have gotten rid of some of the poison BUT if it infected past that arm then the poison would still infect the rest of her and well you lost an arm for nothing.

God I don't know why it bothered me so much but seriously you think Naruto would have restrained Gray, let Lyon cut Erza arm off and bowed his head in shame when Carla revealed Wendy was there?

Sorry for the rant but I get so annoyed when people cherry pick scenes that don't even make sense just to use as ammo to review.

Chapter 42 One of the Six is Defeated?!

"Right, I will get back Wendy and then everyone here can get their injuries healed." Naruto promised as Carla nodded but everyone else looked abit confused.

"Sorry what? Wendy-chan can do what?" Lucy asked in confusion as Naruto looked back at her.

Carla was about to answer but Naruto replied first.

"Wendy-chan is a Sky Dragon Slayer. They posses the ability to not only heal their allies' physical injuries but even their targets stamina and magic loss." Naruto told them bluntly as Carla eyes widened. AN2:

'How did he know that? Wendy never told any of the rest of the guilds before hand…' Carla thought with a frown.

"Dragon Slayer?!" Natsu asked excitedly before Erza bonked him on the head.

"That's not important right now." Erza admonished him as Natsu rubbed his head.

"Wait you've met Wendy before?" Gray asked as Naruto sighed.

"So not important now. The important thing is once I get Wendy back our side can get back to full strength." Naruto pointed out about to walk off.

However much to his annoyance a majority of the Alliance was not so willing to let him leave.

"Wait just a moment!" Lyon shouted as Naruto turned around with a frown.

"Yeah buddy. I will admit that last attack was impressive but we are not done yet." Ren said cockily as Naruto eye twitched.

"Yeah! I don't know about anyone else but we are a team and that means we should go together." Natsu shouted as Lucy looked nervously around.

Much to her hidden annoyance besides herself, Carla and Jura none of the others looked ready to let Naruto take the lead.

"Sigh. I don't really care if you think this is some measuring contest to see who you think is the strongest contest." Naruto said plugging his ears as the group shouted at him.

"I'm really sorry about this." Naruto said sincerely before he snapped his fingers and then an orange barrier surrounded the group much to everyone surprise. AN3:

"Is this Rune magic?!" Gray shouted as he banged his fists against the barrier.

"What is this Naruto?!" Erza shouted with anger in her voice as Naruto gave them a sad smile.

"I will be honest. This idea was half baked to send this team out." Naruto told them as they angrily pounded on the barrier.

"What did you say?!" Everyone besides Jura and Lucy shouted as Naruto sent them a tied stare.

"Look there is a reason the Orecian Seis controls 1/3 of the Dark Guilds in Fiore. They are that powerful. If you really wanted to take them on you should have at least a few more S-class wizards or at least another Wizard Saint like Master tag along." Naruto lectured as Erza flinched as she could almost see Makarov actually making this argument.

"What did you say?!" Lyon said angrily as he tried to summon Ice-Make magic only to be shocked when his magic fizzled out.

"What the? Lyon-sama magic didn't work!" Sherry shouted as everyone tried to activate their magic only for it to fizz out.

"Everyone look!" Lucy said as she pointed up at the barrier where words appeared.

"No magic will be allowed to be used inside the barrier. No magic may be used to bypass the barrier. The abilities of Naruto Uzumaki may be used inside the Barrier. This barrier will deactivate at discretion of Naruto Uzumaki or within 1 hour of time." Happy read as the letter flickered onto the barrier.

"Naruto release the barrier!" Natsu shouted only for nobody to be there.

"Where did he go?!" Ichiya shouted as everyone looked around.

Carla sighed and sat down.

"While you were all gawking at being trapped. The blonde wizard ran off in the same direction as those hooligans who took Wendy ran in." Carla said flatly as everyone started to shout.

Much to everyone surprise Gray sat down and calmly crossed his arms.

"What are you doing Gray?" Lyon asked in surprise as Gray just shrugged.

"Nothing. I just realize its pointless to fight while we are inside here." Gray commented as he stretched his arms lazily much to the confusion of everyone. AN4:

"Look I won't go into details but we were recently trapped inside Rune barriers that were specifically made to prevent us from leaving." Gray remarked as the rest of their team bit their lip and looked down. Natsu clenched his hands in frustration.

'That's right we were all helpless inside the barrier. The only person who got out was…' Erza thought as he glanced at the barrier and Naruto appeared in her head.

'Pretty ironic. The person we depend on most of all is actually trapping us to keep us safe. And he is the only person who could probably escape this kind of barrier.' Lucy thought as she sighed.

"Having fun?" Naruto voiced appeared behind everyone as he was sitting cross legged with his eyes closed but with a notable frown on his face.

'Dammit! Its just before! I still can't sense him even when he is this close!' Natsu thought in frustration.

"Hey release the barrier!" Sherry shouted at him as he refused to answer.

"Wait if you are here…. Who went after Wendy?!" Carla asked with worry as Naruto opened his eyes which were sad.

"Don't worry. This 'me' here is basically just a Thought Projection, the real me is still in pursuit of those assholes who took Wendy-chan." Clone Naruto assured the cat who looked wide eyed before nodding stiffly. AN5:

The clone then gave a dry look to the annoyed alliance raising a hand up.

"Also, before you say its unfair, I was created before the barrier was put up. You were simply did not see me until I spoke." Clone Naruto said coolly.

'I am not sure but this 'Naruto' seems a lot colder than the one I know.' Lucy noticed as she saw how 'Naruto' had a hint of annoyance on his face but he hid it well.

'Naruto' then side stepped as the Ren, Hibiki and Eve tried to tackle him. He then held an open palm blocking Lyon blow without looking before pushing him back slightly.

"Wow. Congratulations! You realized this barrier only prevents magic use and you leaving. It does not actually prevent you from attacking inside the barrier with your fists." 'Naruto' praised but with a notable mocking smile clapping.

"Enough! Naruto or his Thought Projection. Release the barrier. You can, right?" Erza asked before 'Naruto' shook his head.

"Nope. I may have his personality and memories but I am not Naruto Uzumaki. Only the real one can undo the barrier before the time limit." 'Naruto' pointed out as he stretched his arms lazily.

"Hey! What is with that attitude? I mean Naruto is a jerk for trapping us here but he wouldn't mock us like this." Natsu said angrily as 'Naruto' eyes grew cold as eh clenched his fists.

"First of all. I am NOT Naruto. You can call me whatever you want but I am not him." 'Naruto' the shadow clone stated with an edge.

"Second. The reason I am short with you guys is how ungrateful you brats are being." 'Naruto' told them as they looked flabbergasted then angry.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Ren said as 'Naruto' cold eyes made him flinch.

"Sigh. I guess you can't see it. Naruto honestly expects he will be hated by you guys for trapping you in here." 'Naruto' remarked as everyone looked wide eyed but none so much then Lucy, Erza, Natsu, Gray and Happy.

"What?" Lyon asked rather dumbfounded as 'Naruto' sent a glare before sighing.

"Is that so unbelievable? Naruto sealed you inside this barrier to keep you safe from opponents you almost died to and you are ready to burn him at the stake as if he is trying to kill you." Naruto said flatly with his arms crossed.

Everybody looked rather uncomfortable from 'Naruto' words with Lucy looking outright guilty.

"Hey… its not like that man…" Gray mumbled as 'Naruto' raised an eyebrow.

"Really? Let me guess? You think he is either a glory hog or underestimates your abilities?" Naruto asked as the men frowned while Erza and Lucy looked away.

"Thought so." Naruto said with a sigh as he casually flicked his wrist making a small breeze of Sky Devil magic to appear making Erza and Lucy long hair move slightly.

"Wait YOU can still use magic in here?" Ichiya said in surprise as everyone looked at 'Naruto' with wide eyes.

"You don't read? Naruto's abilities work inside the barrier. I am basically Naruto's powers manifested outside his body and working independent of him. Of course, my magic which is Naruto's works." Naruto remarked as he hovered and sat on a seat of Sky Devil magic to prove his point.

'This is just like Jellal Thought projection where he split himself into two instead of remote control the projection from afar!' Erza thought in realization as most Thought Projections required constant input from the user making them impractical for anything but meetings.

"Um Naruto?" Lucy asked awkwardly as 'Naruto' turned to her with a small smile.

"Don't worry about it. You can call me Naruto is you want." Naruto's clone assured her.

Lucy smiled as 'Naruto' looked at her expectantly.

"What is your…. Um…. True self doing right now?" Lucy asked 'Naruto' who closed his eyes.

"Hmmm…" 'Naruto' said thoughtfully as a loud boom could be heard outside the barrier.

Everyone jumped as in the distant they could see and electrical explosion.

"Is that Naruto?" Natsu shouted as 'Naruto' nodded.

"Yup. My original is abit… annoyed right now." 'Naruto' mused with a smirk.

'I wonder will he kill them if they harm Wendy-chan?' The clone mused with a frown unseen by the other members.

Meanwhile with Naruto

'I hope my Shadow clone I left with them is keeping them company.' Naruto thought guiltily as he blasted another smaller group of the Orecian Seis away with a single blast of blue Lightning Dragon Slayer magic. Despite the Orecian Seis officially having only 6 members they did have multiple smaller dark guilds working underneath them. The forest was littered with many groups of them but Naruto had no trouble blasting them away.

"Now I just need one of you guys to tell me where your bosses are hiding." Naruto said cheerfully as he dropped another grunt onto the ground unconscious.

"We will never tell you!" One of the braver members shouted as it became a rallying cry as several more groups converged onto Naruto surrounding him.

"Oh? Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wasn't asking. I just need the last one awake to tell me. Not the rest of you." Naruto declared with a smile but his eyes grew dark.

"Attack!" One of the leaders shouted as multiple beams of magic like fire, water, electricity and multiple other elements shot at Naruto who casually kept walking forward.

Naruto waved his hand as a massive burst of Sky Devil slayer magic blew around him and outwards dispelling the waves of magic and sent many of the underlings flying.

"Now then. Shall we continue?" Naruto asked rhetorically as the remaining members started to look nervous.

Several minutes later as the many group lay there unconscious and in defeat Naruto held onto the last leader by the neck lifting him as he groaned in pain. Besides them the leader's comrades were sprawled across many trees and ground with some having bruises or bloody faces but none had fatal injuries.

"Thanks for the information. I appreciate it." Naruto said cheerfully as he dropped the leader into the floor after tapping a pressure point to make him go into the sleep bliss of sleep.

'So that is where they are.' Naruto thought as he looked into the distance.

All the sudden he saw a massive bust of light in the distance.

"What is this? Some form of magic was activated? It seems dangerous…" Naruto mumbled before shaking his head as he ran towards where he assumed Wendy was being held captive.

Meanwhile inside the barrier

"What is that light?!" Lucy screamed as everyone looked over to see a massive black light appear in the distance visible even from within the barrier.

"Oh no… It has been activated…" Hibiki said in fear as everyone glanced at him.

"You know what is happening?" Erza asked with a frown as Hibiki looked nervously at Ichiya.

"I suppose it cannot be helped. Tell them Hibiki-kun." Ichiya told his subordinate solemnly.

"Yes Sir." Hibiki said with a nod. "That light is proof that Nirvana has been activated." Hibiki revealed as he briefly explained how the magic worked.

"A magic that can turn light to darkness?" Gray said with wide eyes.

"That means?!" Lyon gasped as Hibiki nodded.

"Yeah. If your heart wavers you could turn dark and hateful and become one for the enemy." Hibiki warned as everyone became on edge.

The only one who was completely calm was 'Naruto' who merely yawned.

"How can you be so calm at a time like this? Your other self is still out there!" Sherry screeched as 'Naruto' gave her a bored look.

"And? If my other self could be turned evil, he would have done so a long time ago. Not by some silly magic like this." 'Naruto' said flatly as everyone except Team Fairy Tail looked confused at his cryptic words.

'He must be talking about his time in the other world and the life he had to endure not breaking him.' Lucy thought sadly.'

'If he could endure all that and not turn to evil or hatred this is nothing for him!' Natsu thought confidently.

"Guys there is something I need to tell you guys." Hibiki piped up as his face grew more serious.

"As far as my Archive magic has shown there is a second stage to Nirvana although its not very specific." Hibiki revealed as everyone face grew more sombre.

"What's worst then something that turns people evil if they slip up?" Lucy whined as Hibiki sighed.

"All it says is 'Weapon'. The records are incomplete as it's never been unsealed for centuries so we do not have much information on what happens." Hibiki admitted.

Back with Naruto

Naruto zipped past the trees until he reached a cave as he looked around.

'It feels like they already left but I can smell Wendy-chan now…' Naruto thought as he gazed into the cave.

'Plus, another scent. A man but its odd.' Naruto thought with a small sniff.

Naruto walked in before he growled when he saw an unconscious Wendy a few feet away from a man with blue hair and tattoos on his face who was also unconscious.

"Wendy-chan!" Naruto shouted as he sprinted and scooped the younger girls into his arms. Naruto quickly put his ear onto her chest and then her mouth and could hear small breathing showing she was just unconscious.

"Thank God." Naruto said with a smile as her rearranged her so her head could rest her head on her shoulder as he held her with one arm.

Naruto looked down at the unconscious man with a neutral expression.

'This must be the true Jellal. His magic feels more solid and stable then when he was split into two.' Naruto thought as he gazed down at the man.

'I heard what he did but the fact that he is unconscious means he is not an ally of the Orecian Seis. That means he will come with me till I figured out what to do with him.' Naruto decided as he took a scroll out of his pocket.

He held the scroll with one hand as he quickly formed a hand sign with his other hand while he still held Wendy to his body. Jellal disappeared in a puff of smoke as the scroll black letters glowed for a moment before returning to normal.

'As long as he is unconscious, he will be okay being inside this scroll and judging by his magic level he will need someone to heal him to wake up.' Naruto thought as he put the scroll back into his pocket.

Naruto then walked out of the cave with Wendy resting comfortably with his left arm protectively over her.

Naruto then saw someone waiting for him yawning before he stood up stretching his arms.

"Hmm. Well, I would be disappointed if you guys let me walk out without somebody here." Naruto joked as the black-haired man with dark eyeliner and plum lipstick gave him a dry look.

"Funny. I expected more when father took that Dragon Slayer. Now we only had one person make it into the cave." The man said drily and in a bored expression.

"Father? Oh, I see. You must be Midnight then. I read about you guys awhile ago." Naruto mentioned as he looked warily at the S-class criminal.

'So, it must have been Brain who kidnapped Wendy-chan. And judging by the state of her and Jellal I think I know what they did with them.' Naruto thought as he glared at Midnight.

'Fast!' Midnight thought as Naruto disappeared and appeared behind him in less then an instant. Naruto already had his Black Daito equipped to his right hand as he swung intending to cut down Midnight in an instant.

However much to Naruto's surprise his blade appeared to hit something as it slid off the air in surrounding Midnight a few inches from his flesh.

"What?!" Naruto yelped as he thrust the same sword this time but once again it slid past Midnight who now turned with a smirk.

"You see? Nothing you can do will have any meaning." Midnight said smugly as Naruto leapt back several feet away from him in anticipation of a counter attack.

'What is that? It was not like the Shinra Tensei where gravity pushes anything away from the user nor was it like my Sky Devil shield. Its almost like there was a wall that makes things around him bend away from him.' Naruto thought as he took out several kunai with one hand.

He flung the 5 kunai at high speed at Midnight who crossed his arms with a smirk. Just before they could make contact Naruto twitched his finger as Sky Devil magic made the kunai ricochet and redirect the blades to hit him from 5 angles including a blind spot.

However, like before the kunai seem to hit something and bounced off useless as they hit the ground around Midnight.

'So even attacks he doesn't see bounce off. Its almost like once its activated that wall or whatever magic is around him automatically repels everything around him.' Naruto analyzed before Midnight gave him an evil smile.

"Nice attacks! How about this one?" Midnight asked as he clenched his hand.

Naruto was surprised as his jacket all the sudden seemed become alive and wrap and coil around him like a snake. Naruto grunted as him and Wendy slowly started to be strangled by his jacket.

"Haha! No matter how confident you are no nobody can beat my magic! I am the strongest member of the Orecian Seis! Even father is no match for me!" Midnight boasted as he laughed.

However much to his surprise Naruto's jacket which was constricting Naruto started to bloat before it exploded as Naruto with only an orange jacket stood their unharmed as the jacket was destroyed. Blue wind showed he used Sky Devil Slayer magic to shred his jacket from the inside.

'Wait he moved! Could it be?' Naruto thought as he noticed a stray burst of Sky Devil magic happened to move quickly at Midnight who had very slightly side stepped the attack.

"Hmph! So you used your magic to destroy your own jacket before it could strangle you huh? Not bad." Midnight grudgingly admitted with a frown.

Naruto clenched his fist before he punched the air. A massive amount of Sky Devil slayer magic flew towards Midnight who stood there. Once it got close the Sky Devil magic once again diverted around and flew past him destroying two trees behind him instead.

Before the blast could subside a second shot of Sky Devil magic came less then a second later but it stopped this time in front of Midnight face.

"Hmph! You seem proud of your little wind. Well how about you try it yourself?" Midnight shouted as the air in front of him appeared to crack like several mirrors before the Sky Devil magic flew back at Naruto.

Naruto pivoted and kicked the air as a blast of Sky Devil slayer magic cancelled out the reflected magic.

'So unlike Shinra Tensei there isn't a small recharge time. But before he definitely dodged the same magic that time.' Naruto thought as he blew out several burst of Sky Devil magic as a distraction which all got redirected.

Naruto then used Sky Devil slayer magic to jump high into the air as added Sky Devil magic into his fists launching them as air bombs from above. Midnight magic caused all the bombs to explode safely around him before Naruto attempted a drop kick at Midnight head.

Naruto eyes narrowed as Midnight leapt away as Naruto's kick caused a crater to appear from the impact with the ground.

'Yup! That's it! The secret of his magic!' Naruto thought victoriously.

'Congratulations. Naruto. You saw through his so-called invincible magic.' Kurama told him with a grin.

"Well now I know the secret of your magic. Its over." Naruto declared as he picked up his Daito with his right hand again.

"Ridiculous! My magic has no weakness!" Midnight denied angrily.

Naruto smirked as he threw his Daito directly at Midnight. Like Midnight expected it veered away from him once it got close. It spun as if it hit a wall. What Midnight did not expect was for Naruto to appear out of mid air in front of the reflected Daito. Midnight did not see the strange markings on the Daito.

'Flying Rajin Jutsu success!' Naruto thought as he appeared next to his reflected weapon.

Naruto then smashed Midnight with a right-handed hook forcing him into the ground as a crater impact appeared. Midnight coughed up blood and spit as Naruto stood over him with a grin.

"Impossible! My Reflector magic cannot be beaten!" Midnight declared as he looked up in disbelief.

"Not true. I found two weakness when I fought you today." Naruto declared much to Midnight shock.

"One your magic can only affect the area around yourself or a target. It cannot both defend yourself and attack your opponents at the same time." Naruto declared as Midnight eyes widened.

'How did he figure it out? Nobody knows that!' Midnight thought furiously.

"When my Sky Devil Slayer magic destroyed my jacket, you used to strangle Wendy and I, a small portion broke off and flew towards you. It was rather weak probably not enough to do more then give you a few scratches but yet you dodged it still." Naruto noticed.

"Why would you dodge such a weak attack but reflect my much stronger follow up attacks without any effort? The answer is simple. It meant your Reflector works on two networks: yourself or others: but cannot work on them at the same time." Naruto revealed.

'He found that out just in this one battle?!' Midnight thought with fear.

Naruto then raised two fingers on his right hand.

"I noticed a second odd thing. I sent those massive Sky Devil air bombs at you and you safely diverted them away from yourself with no problem. But my follow up drop kick you decided to jump away from instead." Naruto continued.

"Why wouldn't you use your magic to send me flying or crush my organs instead? Why go through the effort of trying to strangle me?" Naruto asked as his grin turned savage.

"I know. Your reflector magic cannot work on the human body. So attacks that come from people directly you cannot deflect or redirect! Like this one!" Naruto declared as he raised his foot and slammed into Midnight who screamed in pain. AN6:

"No!" Midnight shouted before he began to lose consciousness.

'All I wanted… My prayer… was to finally have a good night sleep.' Midnight thought as he ironically fell asleep in defeat.

Naruto took his foot off of Midnight as sand creeped in and surrounded Midnight from head to toe before sealing formulas appeared.

"That's one down. With the seal he will be unconscious until I release the seal." Naruto thought as he leapt out of the crate with Wendy still resting up against him.

"Now I wonder if I will face any more Orecian Seis members before I get back to camp?" Naruto wondered as he looked up into the sky.

AN2: He phrases this very carefully if you are caught up on the story.

AN3: I got trolled last chapter since Naruto apparently 'doesn't trust his team or anybody else' for coming to the rescue. If you were Naruto and knew you could beat 6 S-class wizards by yourself and not get injured much, why wouldn't you take steps to prevent people you love (or at least allied with) from getting hurt more?

AN4: I want to be clear. Just like my previous chapter someone like Naruto or Agnologia can brute force through Rune Barriers but it would cause collateral damage. The rest of the alliance is not nearly that powerful.

AN5: For people who can't understand Naruto lying abit. This is a shadow clone but it has the same magic as him. I alluded to that fact when his clone trained Sherria that they possess his magic too.

AN6: Naruto did NOT use chakra in this fight. So right now, it was unclear if Reflector magic works against chakra. The point is he did not NEED to use chakra in this fight as he analyzed the weakness and worked around them.
