READING THE FOX SCROLL was taken down on June 24/2021(Thursday). I added a link to its new home on my wattpadd. I used the original docs (hence the Ans) but the format is a bit different due to the different site.

AN1: WOW I cannot believe its almost 4 months since I updated this. I will be honest this story might the one I work on most as I have the most knowledge on both Naruto and Fairy Tail which makes it more interesting…

I just want to say the previous chapters where people complained Naruto 'took over' this arc…. Well I got complaints Naruto 'doesn't do anything to change the plot'. For guests I reserve the right to delete any or all guest reviews as I please.

Sorry for the shorter chapters. Honestly, I want to get this arc done quicker so I can move back to Fairy Tail with Wendy as its newest members. I feel it will be more fun as Naruto is quite frankly strong so fights aren't that interesting (I know no chakra blah blah but has Naruto NEEDED chakra to beat his foes? No! So he is not going to spamming chakra attacks when he doesn't need to!)

Chapter 43 Angel, Speedster and Earth vs Sky Devil

As Naruto walked away with Wendy in his arms away from the sand bound Midnight he checked up on Wendy.

"She must've been forced to use all her magic power to revive him and that is why she won't wake up." Naruto said sadly as he glanced at his pocket where the scroll with the sealed and unconscious Jellal was.

"Oh Naruto!" Kurama said from inside his seal as Naruto continued to leap from tree to tree.

"What Kurama?" Naruto replied back as he quickly made a handsign while making sure Wendy was still secure in one of his arms.

"Kage Bunshin Jutsu." Naruto said as a shadow clone appeared and blinked.

It nodded to Naruto before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

"What was that clone for?" Kurama asked.

"Oh. I just sent to inform my clone inside the barrier on our progress. Wendy-chan is safe and we got one of the Oracion Seis!" Naruto said cheerfully although his smile grew smaller.

"Better not let them know about Jellal right now. I am sure Natsu would blow a gasket if he learned he was here." Naruto mumbled.

"Hmmph! Naruto! Is it okay you leaving that guy just lying in the sand?" Kurama asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Eh. I am sure somebody will pick him up sooner or later and I can always release the sand at that point." Naruto said bored not particular caring one way or another.

"However, Wendy seems to have pushed to her absolute max to the point where she is not gathering Ethenano very quickly. If she wakes up in this state, she will probably pass out again." Naruto said with worried as his young student soft breath was the only really sign, she not in a coma.

'She needs her magic restored. If she was awake, she could restore someone in this state to least non critical state.' Naruto thought some irony.

Naruto stared at Wendy as his hand glowed blue.

"Naruto! Don't even think about it!" Kurama growled as Naruto sighed as the blue glow disappeared.

"Kurama is right Naruto-kun. I know you want that little kitty of yours to awake but you are not ready to use Sky Dragon Slayer magic in its healing form yet." Matatabi told him.

"When you used it the first time it was out of pure desperation you even subconsciously gathered the correct ratio of magic to perform healing. If you go half cocked now you could easily make that girl explode instead of healing her." Gyuki lectured as Naruto sighed and nodded.

"Yeah. You're right. I even made a promise I would not try to heal someone till Wendy-chan was back with me again." Naruto acknowledged as he leapt from tree to tree while keeping Wendy safe in his arms.

"Naruto. We all know you feel responsible for that child but you of all people should know sometimes not acting is better then acting rashly." Son told him sternly but with a hint of gentleness towards his Jinchuuriki as Naruto nodded.

'Right. However… There is another way to make Wendy-chan okay. But to do so…' Naruto thought as he leapt off a tree to land on the ground.

Just as Naruto landed on the ground, he spun around to raise his hand. The next moment a beam of energy collided with his blue Sky Devil Slayer magic as he blocked it with a wall. Naruto swatted the beam away with a wave of his hand.

Just then what appeared to be a tidal wave of Earth coming from his side. Naruto quickly leapt into the air with a burst of Sky Devil Slayer magic as the wave passed harmlessly below him. However, a blur appeared to zoom at him aiming a knife at the unconscious Wendy as Naruto growled.

Naruto roared at a bubble of Sky Devil magic appeared around him as the blur hit the air wall and bounced back slamming into the ground.

Naruto quickly appeared back on the ground as a burst of wind surrounded him and he appeared on the ground.

Naruto looked up after checking on Wendy briefly to see 3 smirking S-class wizards.

"Aw how cute! That little Healer is important to you. To us she served her purpose. How about you hang with someone like me instead of a brat like her." Angel asked mockingly batting her eyes. Angel was a notable busty woman with light blue hair and purple eyes. She wore a rather provocative 'Angel' outfit with her chest nearly exposed.

"We know about the legendary Naruto Uzumaki and I must admit you do not fail to impress. How about you enjoy our team and I can show you how an Angel can bring to heaven?" Angel offered with a smirk and wink.

Naruto however like with Ultear was not impressed in the slightest with the criminal.

"Hmph. I think I would rather not get whatever you got from your other partners." Naruto retorted as Angel hissed and her two other teammates snorted.

"If anything, you remind me of Yuk~~" Naruto remarked before he tilted his head as a beam of light shot at him at high speed.

Angel had used her silver key Caelum who was in 'cannon' form to shoot a beam at Naruto almost as if she wanted him to shut up.

"You brat! Shut your damn mouth!" Angel hissed before her large partner put a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't fall for his taunts. With the power of Nirvana, we shall all get what we want." Hoteye told her calmly before he got a rather greedy look in his eyes.

"Besides if we capture Uzumaki-san I feel we will get a high price for taking down one of Fairy Tail strongest members!" Hoteye exclaimed manically as Naruto sighed.

"So that is why you are here. For money huh." Naruto said with a disappointed frown.

"Yes! Money is the only thing that has any real value in this world. I don't care I get it!" Hoteye exclaimed as Angel give an amused giggle.

Naruto turned around and sent a kick along with Sky Devil magic at seemingly thin air. Racer blurred out of the way and appeared a foot away. AN3:

"Impressive reflexes! But you are still not quick enough to catch me with such slow attacks!" Racer taunted with a smirk.

'I am going to have to cancel out Hoteye magic and seal away Racer first or else they will keep covering for each other magic. Angel's attacks are nothing but she will keep swapping out spirits if I take them down.' Naruto analyzed as they surrounded him from three angles.

"Uzumaki-san. How about I offer you a proposition. You are clearly the most powerful member of this little alliance. Without you they are nothing. Why not join us and share in the rewards?" Hoteye offered a hand as Angel and Racer looked rather intrigued.

"As if. No amount of money or rewards could ever get me to betray my friends. My comrades are the reason I am standing her today." Naruto declared as he took a step forward.

"So be it. You will regret that blondie!" Angel hissed as she looked over at Racer and then Hoteye. They each gave each a nod before they glared at Naruto.

Naruto pivoted to the right as he blocked an attack from a near invisible Racer. Racer back away and continued a series of high-speed kicks and punches from different angles at Naruto who managed to avoid and parry every one attacks even as he was holding Wendy in his left arm.

Racer attempted to do a drop kick as he appeared above Naruto who took a step back. Racer instead collided with the floor before he glanced to the left and vanished.

Just as Racer vanished several beams of light zipped towards Naruto. Naruto finger twitched towards the beams as a massive Earth Wall appeared blocking the beams and not giving an inch. AN4:

Naruto then saw a massive wave of Earth Magic come towards him from behind essentially boxing him in. Naruto spun around before tapping his foot as blue Lightning Dragon slayer magic appeared and rushed towards the Earth Magic wave. The Lightning Dragon wave tore through the Earth Magic wave turning into small chunks of dust. The Lightning continued forward to zap a surprised Hoteye.

"Impossible! His Lightning magic destroyed mine and stunned me!" Hoteye gasped as he struggled to regain his senses. He looked up to see blue Sky Devil slayer magic in the form of a cube rush towards him.

The magic slammed into him as he grunted before sending him off into a nearby cliff making him collapse.

'That's one down.' Naruto thought as he glanced to see neither Angel or Racer seemed particular care one of their members was defeated.

"I just defeated Hoteye. Do you not care? Or do you care I defeated and bound Midnight before you arrived?" Naruto asked as Angel and Midnight gave him amused looks.

"You have no idea what being a dark Wizard do you brat?" Racer mocked as Angel giggled into her arm.

"The rule is: The strong survive and the weak perish". Angel explained as Naruto frowned.

"Don't give us that look. The 6 of us are only together because we have a common goal and happen to not get in each other's way." Angel claimed as Naruto hand clenched.

"Fine then I guess you won't care if I do this!" Naruto declared as he rushed towards Racer who gave him a mock salute.

Naruto begin a series of slashes from a kunai as Racer continued to zoom in and out of Naruto's slashes.

"Ha! You can't keep up with me! Nobody can!" Racer declared as he avoided another slash and disappeared from a Sky Devil blast of wind from the side.

'I have to be careful. This guy is insane! He is reading my moves so I can't get in close but at least he can't touch me.' Racer thought somewhat panicked as he narrowly avoided another few slashes.

"Don't blink." Naruto warned Racer before Naruto vanished from Racer's sight.

"What!" Racer screamed in outrage that someone outpaced him!

Naruto reappeared besides Racer and managed to put a hand on his arm.

'Earth Style: Weighted Boulder Jutsu!' Naruto thought as he applied chakra to Racer's body.

Racer was about to punch Naruto before he all suddenly felt weak. Naruto took his hand off and leapt away to avoid several beams of Light.

"Racer what are you doing! Stop laying around and get him!" Angel demanded as Racer looked wide eyed.

Racer then collapsed onto his knees and his arms slumped to the ground as he gasped.

"What's happening to me? My speed. My power." Racer sputtered as he tried to get up but his arms and legs felt like they were made of lead.

"Goodnight and sweet dreams." Naruto said somewhat mockingly as sand then surrounded the mega weighted Racer.

'My prayer. All I ever wanted was to become the fastest so I would never have to stop running.' Racer thought as sand surrounded him and put him to sleep. The seals were activated as he was forced in a magical dream.

"Now there's only you left." Naruto declared as Angel glared at him hatefully.

"Why are you so mad? I thought you only cared about yourself and each member of this little Dark Guild was a means to an end for each of you?" Naruto asked as he batted away several beams of light with his hand covered in Sky Devil magic.

"Unless you guys actually became a family due to being all outcasts?" Naruto suggested before he rushed Caelum who had turned into sword form and attempted to slash at Naruto.

Naruto blocked the blade with his hand before his left hand flicked its index finger and small blades of Sky Devil magic appeared and slashed Caelum who beeped and groaned. It forcibly dispelled itself and retuned to the Celestial Spirit World.

"I…. don't…. I will kill you!" Angel screamed in denial before Naruto sighed as he sent a massive wave of Sky Devil magic at her leaving her little chance to escape.

"Too Bad!" Angel screamed in delight as she summoned Aires who put up a shield of Wool.

The shield of wool and Aires being forced used to use herself as a shield allowed Angel to whether the blast of Sky Devil magic until it dispelled.

"I am sorry. Forgive me." Aires whimpered as she was covered in scratches and bruises from the blast before Angel laughed at her.

"Oh, don't worry my little spirit! You were perfect! As a shield!" Angel mocked as Aires whimpered and turned to light dispelling back into the Celestial Spirit World.

Angel looked up to see Naruto give her a look of disgust.

"How could you? Using your own friends as shields and even mocking them for defending you?!" Naruto asked in disbelief as Angel tiled her head.

"Friends? These keys and spirits?" Angel asked incredibly.

"No! They are nothing more then tools, weapons and shields for us Mages to use as we see fit. Every Spirit Wizard knows this!" Angel declared smiling when she saw Naruto look of disgust turn more disgusted.

"Please! Why are you so bent out of shape for? They don't even die if their bodies are destroyed. They always go back to their world and here later for our uses." Angels commented as Naruto grit his teeth and walked closer to her.

"That is not how you treat them! I know a friend of mine who treasures her spirits as close as her family and friends!" Naruto yelled as an imagine of a smiling Lucy appeared in his mind.

"Then they are weak." Angel said coldly as her hand had a small Golden key. There was a tiny burst of Golden light as Naruto stopped just a foot way from her.

'Gotcha!' Angel thought victoriously as Naruto's eyes widened.

"What?!" Naruto yelled in surprise when she saw two blue figures grab his hand before floating back to Angel.

"You got sloppy and over confidant! Now All that wonderful power is mine to control!" Angel declared with a hysterical laugh.

"Now Gemi and Mini turn into him!" Angel commanded as the two spirits saluted her.

"Yes Mistress!" They chanted as there was a puff of smoke covering them both. Angel missed the smirk on Naruto's face.

When the smoke cleared there stood another Naruto with his same clothes and even whisker markings.

"We shall defend Angel-sama with our lives." The new 'Naruto' declared with his voice as Angel giggled.

"How shall it feel to be defeated by your own powers?" Angel mocked as Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? Maybe you should take a closer look." Naruto suggested as he pointed to the 'Naruto' in front of Angel who now looked wide eyed and shocked.

"What are you doing? Attack him!" Angel screeched at her spirit.

"What is this? It hurts!" 'Naruto screamed in pain as they clenched their face with their hands. Blue Lightning and Blue Wind appeared to try to escape 'his' body as they fell on their knees trying to vomit.

"Too much! No More!" They screamed before they returned to their original form and looked exhausted. They disappeared in a flash of light as Angel looked horrified and angry.

"What happened?! They copied you!" Angel screamed as Naruto smirked.

"True Gemi and Mini can copy a target magic and appearance. But if they are as strong or weaker then the castor. Our Magic levels are so different they could not contain the magic they copied so now its over." Naruto revealed as Angel looked ready to hyperventilate. AN5:

Angel looked like a scared cat as she stepped back every time Naruto took a step forward.

"Wait! Stay away!" Angel pleaded as Naruto continued to advance.

Angel was down to her last resort.

Angel took Aires Golden Key of the Ram in her hand and held in between her two hands looking ready to snap it.

"Take another move and I snap her key!" Angel threatened as Naruto actually stopped.

"….." Naruto glared at her as Angel started to smile.

"I bet you know if I destroy her key, she will never be able to come to the human world again and she will be stuck there forever!" Angel taunted.

"Pathetic. Taking your own spirits as hostages." Naruto told her as he stomped his foot.

Instantly the earth sunk into the ground before sand appeared and 'grabbed' her two golden keys out of her grasp. Angel screamed as she was forced to sink into a hole in the ground.

"I wouldn't normally just knock you put but for someone who doesn't value her own friends I have something special for you." Naruto told her coldly as he stared down the hole towards her.

Naruto placed his left hand flat in front of him as he placed his right palm against it. Wendy had been set carefully behind him as they took several jumps away from the hole. His right hand had its palms facing forward while his left palm was flat. His right hand had the index and middle fingers pointing upwards while his other 3 fingers were clenched.

"Behold. Heavenly Magic: Grand Chariot!" Naruto yelled as the sky above him turned to night as 7 beams of light came from the night above him. They crashed down onto the ground and into the hole as they turned into a constellation and exploded. Angel's screams of pain were muffled from the explosion.

'Did you need to go that far?' Gyuki asked with a sigh as Naruto huffed.

"Hmph. I never said I wouldn't use destructive magic I just wont use destructive jutsu for normal enemies." Naruto remarked as he picked up Wendy again and walked to the hole.

Naruto tapped his foot as the ground rearranged itself so the damage was pretty much hidden and the hole was filled as the ground pushed up. This revealed a smoking but relatively unhurt Angel who was fully unconscious but with little physical damage. AN6:

"Hmm She is more durable than I thought despite her frame. I held back but she is still better off then I thought." Naruto remarked as sand covered Angel along with seals.

Naruto did not hear Angel's final thoughts as she lost consciousness.

'All I wanted was to make sure little Yukino-my sister- to be the light of this world while I became the darkness.' Sorano thought sadly. AN7:

Meanwhile insde the barrier

"What! The sky turned to night a moment and there were all those explosions in that direction!" Lyon shouted as he pointed to where Naruto and Angel fought.

Natsu and Erza shared an astonished look AN8: which Lucy caught.

"That magic." Natsu murmured.

"it's the same as his." Erza mumbled in shock.

"Natsu? Erza-san? Do you know what happened?" Lucy asked as everyone turned to the red-haired night and Pink-haired Dragon slayer.

"It was the Grand Chariot spell." Erza explained as Natsu frowned.

"One of Jellal spells he used." Natsu added as 'Naruto' clapped his hands.

"Correct and my original also can use the spell as well." 'Naruto' informed them.

"Let's just say my original learned a lot of magic before he came to Fairy Tail and hasn't had the chance to use them all." 'Naruto' remarked before he shrugged.

'It seems Naruto-sama has kept growing since our fight all those years ago.' Jura thought with a smile.

"It seems this Naruto just keeps on showing why he can take on S-class wizards on his own." Sherry whined and sighed.

'Hmm I can see why Sherria can't shut about him when she is at the guild. He is something else.' Lyon thought as Sherry's cousin kept saying she would surpass him even as she revealed her newly developed Sky God slayer magic.

'That blast surely took down at least one of their members and his clone told us he got another. So that is at least two down of the Six.' Gray thought with a smirk.

"Dammit Naruto! Stop stealing the spotlight and let me fight!" Natsu shouted as everyone ignored the Dragon Slayer.

AN2: I have alluded (especially in the training arc with his female students) that Naruto is much better at Caster magic then holder magic. He doesn't need items to use them but he could still do holding magic to a degree.

AN3: I know in canon it explained as Slow Down Magic to affect the perception of the targets (so everything Seems faster) but in my story its actual Speed Up Magic. He can use holder magic to increase his own reaction time and speed.

AN4: Yes, that was a chakra Earth Wall without hand signs but its not like he is using the Earth Jutsu to kill anyone right?

AN5: I am sure SOMEBODY was curious what would happen if the twins tried to copy Naruto right?

AN6: Angel did take the full blast of Urano Metria and remain conscious in canon. She was merely paralyzed from the blast and 'taken out' according to the Body link magic.

AN7: I know different then canon where she fades away like an Angel but we know from canon now she wanted to protect her little sister. So, I chose to change her prayer to reflect that.

AN8: I haven't watched the Tower of Heaven arc in years so I can't remember if Jellal ever used Grand Chariot in their fight but lets say in this story he did and Natsu and Erza avoided it.
